Ok, I need some of y’all to *chill* when it comes to the WEBTOON. We are three episodes in and some of you all are already imploding. We haven’t even really started. The writers themselves said Jason’s run as Robin is way more complicated and complex than just “he’s angry.” Jason loves Gotham and no where does Bruce imply otherwise. But he is giving him a realty check about the job. This is a kid that has been deeply hurt by the system, and Bruce wanted him going into this job with the correct mindset. The writer himself has said that he loves Robin Jason because he’s the one that has the most empathy and connection to the people on the streets.

And in regards to *that* family panel. This is from Jason’s POV not Bruce’s. We all know that Bruce loves that kid. However I can see why Jason feels a lot more comfortable with the Outlaws. There are no expectations for him and no judgments. The man can relax around them. Jason, unnecessarily, set himself some pretty high expectations during his time with Bruce, and maybe he felt like an outsider sometimes even though he wasn’t. But this is *his* point of view, and like an good unreliable narrator, that doesn’t always match up with the reality.

So can some of you chill out and actually give it a shot before you all jump to conclusions or the writers throat. The entire team really seems to love these characters, let’s see how they make the characters grow and where they take their arcs. Cause they’re writing this from the ground up.
