Summary:

Since they met at a Florida Renaissance faire a year and a half ago, fire spinner Crowley and falconer Aziraphale have been a great deal more than friends, but they've never quite admitted what they really feel about each other. Now Crowley has fallen in love, and he has five weeks at the Catskill Mountains Renaissance Faire during the most romantic season of the year to convince Aziraphale to see the light.

Excerpt:

Later that evening, Crowley was back at the campground, spinning his LED poi among the other dancers next to the fire, the sounds of drumming all around them. He had discarded his shirt long ago, and he was in his element, the energy of the night flowing through him and the warm firelight on his skin. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a flash of blond curls, a pair of bright eyes watching his every move. He slung his poi over his shoulder and sauntered over.

“Evening, Aziraphale,” he drawled. “You know, you look like an angel in this light, with your fluffy little halo. Have you come down here to keep all of us demons in line?”

“Hush, you.” Aziraphale dragged his eyes down Crowley’s torso, a little sigh escaping his lips. Crowley knew he looked good, and he shivered a little under the appreciative gaze. “Besides, you’re hardly a demon.”

“Oh, really? What am I, then?” Crowley stepped a little closer, leaving barely a foot of space between them.

“Something rather delectable, I think.” Aziraphale placed a hand on Crowley’s chest and ran it upward, over his shoulder and around the back of his neck. Threading his fingers through the red hair, he pulled Crowley down into a kiss, right there in the firelight, amid the noise and bustle of the post-faire party.

Frame Redraw!

Not seeing many people talking about it, but for me this scene was more touching.

Aziraphale's love for humans and Earth was more visible here than in episode 2 in my opinion, and I really wanted to make some art out of it. So I redrew the frame, though with some other interpretations.

Anyways, loved doing this, spiced it with some art-nouveau style.

Also I have the linearts too if you want to color it. I know, Tumblr isn't the best with HQ quality. But if you want to color it, comment and I'll add a link to reach them. ^^

And here's the fully rendered painting, with the frame too.

(Sorry I removed the beard, I couldn't stop myself. But the bowtie stays on)

(I had a strong will to paint the bebe's hair/wing color black/yellow because of the Bentley, but it reminded me too much of Castiel then)

Well, I hold dear in my heart that Aziraphale was friends with Michelangelo, but Michelangelo knew Aziraphale was an angel.

Just goes all the way to Bologna, Italy to see his friend (read: one true love) again.

He doesn't care that it's in a church

He just wants to see Aziraphale again.

And silently, Crowley is thanking Michelangelo for this statue.

I don’t think the absolute unhinged confidence of Tyler Crowley is talked about enough. The guy almost kills Bella with his car, would have if not for supernatural intervention and then thinks a suitable thing to do to “make up for it” is to go with her to a dance. After she turns him down for the spring dance he says “no biggie we have prom” and tells everyone it’s a done deal without her agreeing. Then Bella is publicly dating the male model at the school that’s never dated anyone before, the guy that intimidates people with his beauty. Tyler’s like “nope she’s still going with me!” Then no follow up. No asking about boutonnieres or corsage colors, no arranging a time or getting a group together. Just shows up at her house and is confused as to why she’s not there. God grant me the unearned confidence of Tyler Crowley.
