Hi! I was just wondering do you think the yandere genshin cult (?) would act different if their creator was a teen? I don't think the age of reader is mentioned in them so idk if it would change
Hello :D
Well it depends if we go the normal sagau or the actual realistic religious way.
I will choose the second option for this post.
Honestly it's a bit weird and messed up the way they act, because they just think you are over 10000000 years old and just shapeshifted into a young teen, same goes if it's just a simple 6 y/o kid.
So yes they will act as if you are an adult like them, bringing you to decided on important trading meetings, etc
Even families from each land would favour their kid that is as old as you
Like if you are idk 15, families would show everyone that they have a child as old as their god shapeshifted as, it's a bit confusing
But oh dear God. If you are a young young kid, 8 years old, 7 years old, just remember something. Your word is law, just say you hate green, pink idk, countries would quickly get rid of that color, it would be considered bad luck and criminals would be shown with that color.
Oh you hate tomato? Criminals that did horrible things can only eat tomatos as their punishment. A kid didn't do their homework? They are punished by eating tomato or just any food you hate
Listen if I was you I would take advantage of this power.
You sit down with zhongli, tartaglia and others surrounding you, talking to you as if you actually know whats happening, you suddenly start telling them a story you read some weeks before getting Isekaid here. I kid you not people are writing what you say each second in books.
No joke you actually live in a palace like those Chinese drama series we all have watched. Just teen reader walking while servants and probably some of their acolytes following them. And those two people with pens and books ready to write down anything you say
Tbh it's just. Not normal I don't know how to say it, but it's not your typical sagau where you sit on a throne room and done, the god on throne while nobody is daring to surround them
Plus if you are under 16, they won't allow you to even walk, you should be carried like this:
Tumblr media
But you being a toddler, younger than 6 years old means chaos, because you need a babysitter, and trust me Snezhnayans are absolutely killing anyone and everything just to be your babysitter
Homies even pantalone was a volunteer.
Anyways what should I name this au?? I really enjoyed writing for it, sooo I will continue it with more fun ideas
Because like when you are young and have a whole palace for yourself is such a dream bro, you are lucky 🙄🙄

Hi! I hope this ask goes through, my asks often seem to not go through for some reason, but I have request!
Can you please please please write more flirty, villian, creator!reader? The concept is amazing and I love it
I would be the most delighted to do this.
Part 1 [Mondstadt]
~`•°☆★☆★☆★☆★☆°•`~
The colors of who is talking will be based on the elements. Although for dendro and anemo, both will be green but Anemo is bolder. Same with cryo and hydro. Ex: Anemo Dendro. Cryo hydro
And your talking thingy is bold.
And also for the traveler ima use they/them because your traveler could be lumine or aether. So idk.
Note: Sorry if you wanted to continue the thing, Ima just do a separate one. Because that post was a flop. I bet you won't read the whole thing and read without skipping a line, MWAHAHAH >:]
Spoilers for this post, the dead people are gonna be revived because I say so. This is gonna be a happy day, alright. I ain't using angst to ruin it
——
The traveler always faced many dangers, hilichurls, mechanics, a dragon, to a false God.
But nothing compared to you. It felt like their soul was quivering. Every time they went into a nation, they always felt eyes on them. They waited for you to make a move to attack them, but it never came. Why were you watching them?
In every region, there was always a commission where this flirty imposter was running around making a mess. This was the only commission they couldn't do. They could never catch you! And even if you were there, talking to them. You somehow escape from their grasp. Just what are you? Who are you.
They only knew you were just a kind of imposter of Teyvat Creator. There was always a bounty on your head in each nation! Even a village has one. Every time they asked the archons, they just looked away, flustered, and didn't even answer the question. Always changing the subject and when they do awnser, the archons always say that you are a trouble maker. Of course, beside Nahida. The things she said about you didn't really match up with other people, said.
"I had no thoughts of them being bad. Even now, when I meet them. They always bring me flowers and share interesting stories, even from other worlds. They visited me even when I was imprisoned. They were the only thing that kept me not giving up on hope."
Nahida says while smiling.
"They always play with me and swing with me. They aren't bad. Although they are full with mysteries.......why you say traveler? Well, I tried finding information with irminsul, but the only information about them were locked up."
Now the traveler was more cunfused. Irminsul has little information about you, but it was locked? He looked around for more, but when he did, his view of you changed. The citizens who told you were horrible but did many wrong things. Which in the end when they found out, were arrested. The citizens who didn't do any wrongs told them many great things from you.
They decided to go to each nation and stay for a few weeks and see what you do to see if there was a pattern so they could meet you. First was Mondstadt. They were sitting at the usual place while paimon was ordering.
Until they saw Kaeya and Diluc coming towards them. Were they...talking without fighting?
"Hello traveler, mind if we join you? Of course we'll be paying for our own meals."
Then the traveler saw Venti coming along, asking the same thing. Surprisingly, he had mora to pay, unlike for his drinks—
The traveler agreed to let them join, and they started ordering too. Although some people might not have noticed but their ears were red. Why?
Flashback:
"Kaeya, get out. Im already closed.."
"Aww, come on, Diluc! Just one more, hm? And plus, technically, you aren't. Just close to."
(Close to making Diluc beating your ass—)
*ding* [bell from the door rang]
Diluc and kaeya turned their head to see a person with a strange looking cloak on?
"Well, who do we have here? You look quite suspicious, don't you think?" Kaeya chuckles as he looks at you."
"Yeah, yeah. I do, but I can assure you, I am no threat." You put your hands in the air and waved as a sign that you mean no danger.
Diluc just scowled at you and just continued to clean the glass.
"Hmm, can I have a dandelion wine? Also, some grape juice to go?"
Diluc just looked at you dumb founded. But still did the drink for to go even though he's supposed to be closed. He put the grape juice in a bottle and then gave you dandelion wine. You paid him in a bag of mora, then you asked if you could see how much mora does Venti owed him. Diluc just looks at you, then said the price. Was quite high, but you still paid. He was cunfused and asked why you were paying for that drunkard bard.
You just shrugged. Kaeya jokingly asked you to pay for him, too. But you actually did. He was baffled. He looked away in a different direction and continued drinking. It was quiet but not really awkward, more peaceful than awkward. Diluc was annoyed at you two for flirting with each other, but Kaeya got the most flustered <3 although...Diluc felt something he thought he would never feel for you, a stranger. Jealously
hours later,,
(Yes, I know quite well about Diluc because I know as heck he will kick kaeya and you out if you stayed for more hours.)
Kaeya was absolutely drunk. You continued paying for him to drink, and he didn't want to be rude, so he just continued drinking, drinking, and drinking....just how many mora do you have?!
Diluc mentally slapped his forehead but enjoyed this little scene. At least he could enjoy knowing that kaeya would get scolded and have a very bad headache. You put something in his pockets, and Diluc quickly grabbed your wrist. He asked you what you put in Kaeya's pockets with a glare that could scare a soldier off. You took it out, and he examined it. It seems like it was just hangout medicine. He gave it back and quietly apologized.
You continued talking to him but then kaeya woke up. You always saw a wall between their relationship, and you want to break it, so you did. You may or may not have used magic to make Kaeya say some things. You excused yourself and got out. You leaned onto the wall and waited.
*20-30 minutes later*
You finally peeked inside and saw them hugging, kaeya sobbing and Diluc tearing up. You smiled and tried to walk out until you saw Venti. He was drunk, don't know how.
You heard Diluc opening the door. You quickly picked up Venti and hid somewhere.
Diluc has Kaeya arm over him as he drags him to his house. You watched them go, although you flinched as Venti squeezed your chest. [I know, in the sagau idea, he slapped your ass. But I'm ain't doing it]
You looked at him as he giggled. He definitely drank too much. You thought.
"Ehe....why don't you join me~?"
You were holding back so much on your actions that were about to be done to this man. He tugged your clothing that was covering you to not alert anyone that you were the 'imposter'
You quickly got a room for him, and thank god no one was around because Venti almost got your disguise off. You gently put him on the bed. You looked back at his face and saw him flustered. You were cunfused. Why was he so red?
"I-....are we doing this right now?"
He looked away, blushing. Suddenly, it clicked.
he thought you were gonna *censored* him? (Pretend I didn't just say this, shshhhshsh)
He thought you were gonna 'sleep' with him?? You chuckled and tucked him to bed and softly ran your hand through his hair, slowly un-doing his braids. He became more flustered for thinking you were gonna do 'it' with him.
His eyes felt heavy as he slowly drifted to sleep. The next morning, he saw a letter and a bottle of hangout medicine. With a cup of water. He quickly drank down the medicine as his headache got better. He reads the paper,
Hello Venti
Please do not over drink, firstly because of your health and lastly you were so drunk and were clinging to me. I had to get you a room because you were trying to take my clothes off.
From your dear 'imposter'
He crumbled the paper and looked down, blushing hard. He remembers what he was thinking and doing. Although it felt nice and peaceful when you ran your hand through his hair...wait, what was he thinking?! You're the imposter for archon's sake!
He looked around and saw a bag of mora. There was a small paper that said "for venti"
I guess he appreciated the mora.....
*end of flashback*
The traveler had a nice talk with them as paimon just continued eating all the food.
Soon, the chat ended, and they said their goodbyes. He went to the church and wanted to see how things were there. They were surprised to see Amber, Jean, Barbara, Lisa, Noelle, and Eula. They decided to listen to their conversation while they gave Paimon some mora for her food.
"People are reporting to see the 'imposter' taking hillichurls into a portal, and this is getting out of hand. Does anyone know how to catch the 'imposter?'"
Everyone shook their head. Some lowered their head in shame and guilt. Jean sighed. Amber raised her hand,,
"Well, the last time we got reported by this, we went there and found a paper that seemed to be written by the 'imposter'. It said that they know we are trying to track them down and won't be successful. Also, they said that they are just taking to the abyss and getting rid of the curse.."
Jean nodded at the information.
"Did any of you...encounter anything strange, perhaps?"
"Hmm, now I think about it. People always kept losing the books, but lately, they've been returned nice and neat. I also remember that some of the lost books got one of the page ripped but the book got returned and that page was stitched back and with the 'imposter's' hand writing saying the exact thing on the page."
"My bunny got damaged and got lost into the ocean. When I came back, there was my bunny on the table, stitched up and all dry. There was also a paper heart."
"I heard a song/music with a humming similar to the 'imposter's' voice and when I went in, nothing was there. I only found the lyre was all patched and fixed as if nothing even scratched it!"
"I got injured in a battle, and when I woke up, I was patched up in a tent. I saw the 'imposter' standing before me, I tried attacking, but they disappeared into the air."
"I was also in a battle, I was about to get hit, but something blocked the attack, and the ruin guard was smashed into pieces."
"I see...is this perhaps the 'imposter's' doing? If yes, then why....what is their goal?"
Everyone asked what strange thing happened to Jean.
"Ah...well, i had to go somewhere, and when I went back to the office, my papers were all done correctly."
Jean looked away a little flustered. The traveler left since it was the end of the conversation they were eavesdropping to. Paimon came back feeling full from the food she ate. They both went to the forest and saw Bennett sitting without a scratch and Bennett was smiling so happily.
Paimon asked what Bennett was so happy about.
"Ah, me? Well, I think my bad luck is going away! No hilichurls were going after us at night, no tripping, no choking on food, and—"
Traveler was surprised at least since there was no offense. He literally has pretty much no good luck. After Bennett finished talking, he looked around and panicked. Paimon asked what was wrong, as Bennett explained Razor was missing. Fischl came back with some food and asked why you guys were panicking. Bennett quickly explained to her that Razor was missing, but she softly chuckled and pointed to the path.
"What do you mean? He's over there with this hooded person. Idk why, but their cloak look like it's vaporizing."
They went with fischl as she led them to the place. They see a person petting razor as he lays on their lap. The traveler knew this was the 'imposter' and tried to snatch Razor quickly, but Razor was un-willing and hugged the unknown person closer. As the traveler and the others saw the 'imposter' chuckled then turns into loud laughter. As Razor snuggled more onto the 'imposter'
They suddenly disappeared into thin air. Before the 'imposter' (you) left, he saw your strange cloak have an image of dragonspine. He quickly said their goodbyes to Bennett, fischl, and Razor. Paimon didn't want to go into the cold but gave the Traveler some warm food she bought and soon to be waiting in the room they rented.
They went to dragonspine at the path they saw Rosaria smiling....wait, smiling? Rosaria quickly saw the Traveler and fixed her posture. She walked away with an item.
[It was a hand warmer for her to use given by you. Explanation: she didn't really join the hunt to find you, so she just left you alone unless she was ordered/asked to hunt you down. While in dragonspine, she saw you and tried reaching to you yntil you stepped back. Then you gave her a bag then left. Although suspicious, she opened it, seeing a hand warmer and a letter saying it was for her, and you don't want her to catch a cold.]
Traveler continued walking the path, going into Albedo's lab. They see him and Klee as Albedo sits with klee as she drew something. The traveler greeted them with a smile as Albedo and Klee returned it. The traveler asked what was going on as Albedo explained that a mysterious person with a black cloak gave her a paper of how to build safety bombs. Klee ran to Albedo [big brother because I say so. It's now fan Canon, and I am proud of it. >:) ]
and Albedo is strangely not asking why.
[You are friends with him, heh. He knows you are the creator since you have already proven him, but honestly, you didn't know how. He never told anyone because he wants you for himself. You may or may have flirted with him, but he didn't understand—]
Anyway Traveler asked them if they had seen the 'imposter.' they said no. Traveler sighed, disappointed they went back to the room where Paimon is, welcoming them back. The traveler told Paimon there is one last place they could look for to find them.
The cat's tail. They went in and saw Diona almost in tears behind a person, the 'imposter.' You were defending her from this drunk guy
"I am this f—cking close to beating the sh—t out of you. Ugly a$$ mother fu—"
But your fingers were touching...yeah you made him go to the celestials, "infinity and beyond!"
Diona hugged the stranger (you) as you comforted her, giving some candy which she declined with a pout. You disappeared into air as the Traveler and Paimon tried to get closer.
"Dang it! We were so close!" [Paimon]
The traveler sighed as they asked if Diona was ok. She was but closed the cats tail. As the Traveler went outside, they saw Mona. They quickly ran to her and tiredly asked her to look into the 'imposter'. As Mona tried, she opened her eyes and fell down. Although there was strangely a pillow landing her impact of the fall. The Traveler asked what happened as Paimon began to panick. Mona quickly said that she couldn't reveal..seems like she knows something
The traveler went back to the room, disappointed. Suddenly a note fell through the opened window.
"Hello outlander Traveler.
I heard you are finding me, so I am here to tell you I am going to Liyue. I know you are wondering, "why is this bi— I mean 'imposter' telling me this?" Well I would like to play this little game with you of trying to catch me. I hope you succeed!
From 'imposter'
Welp. The next stop is Liyue!

little star — diluc 。
synopsis!! everyone knows the creator doesn't favor diluc (everyone is wrong).
cw !! gn reader, reader is peak diluc simp 😐 somewhat self-aware characters, mild sagau themes (not too much), reader is recognized as the player, reader is a little shy at first. angst with reverse comfort!
note !! the plot feels a little everywhere but i tried to organize it as best as i can, i think i got carried away eheh honestly doesn't feel up to my standards but it was pretty enjoyable to write
word count !! 2.8k something
"No, it's definitely Outrider Amber, she was the first to ever be favored."
"Are you kidding me? Outrider Amber may be the first, but sir Kaeya was definitely loved. Have you seen the sword he was gifted with?" One growls.
"It's the Acting Grand Master Jean!" Someone slams the table with his beer mug, "Twice was she bestowed with fallen stars of gold."
"I'd say that wolf boy in the woods seem lucky."
"It has to be Bennett. I don't know why but that kid has two crowns! Two!"
"You're all missing out on Miss Lisa!"
"Stop, stop! You rowdy drunks! Every vision holder in Mond has been granted favor, this is just impossible to decide!"
There was a pause. "Well. . . not every." Someone mumbles under their breath.
"Not every? Who's the poor allogene that couldn't even get the Player's favo—" Shushing sounds break his sentence, the men glare at their companion, pointing to the redhead behind the bar.
It's useless, really.
Diluc has been listening in the entire time. He can't really help it when their voices were loud enough to reach where he stood. Still, he was merciful and pretended not to hear. He's not exactly bothered by what they're saying. It was the truth, after all.
For two years, vision holders all around Teyvat were being granted favor.
It often begins with a meteor shower gracing the sky.
A star gently falling into the hands of a vision holder, embracing them in warm light.
They call the ethereal sensation as something akin to "coming home".
The favored would then be given different things; quality weapons, enhanced abilities, beautiful crowns— Some allogenes were even gifted summer apparel (Mondstadt is proud that their Gunnhildr sisters were one of the very first). Even their equipped wings would change into ornamented works of art!
It's been two years, and it seems like every allogene he knows of has received the Player's grace.
He supposed he just wasn't favored. It isn't too difficult to believe that he isn't likable.
He convinces himself it's fine.
It's fine if his summoned weapon is a cheap claymore made of scrap metal. It's still efficient to have the extra blade while he manually carries around another claymore (commissioned from Wagner as the best money could buy). Or that his abilities can only be improved through hardwork, unlike the many who broke the limits of their power through your favor.
It's fine.
As the bar goers leave for the night, as Venti and Kaeya wave around their almost divine-looking five-star weapons to show the crowd, and as he's closing up the tavern and retreating to his upstair quarters for comfort, he convinces himself that the he'll be okay on his own.
The arrival of the Creator was festive and grand; The day the sky parted itself and glowed as the brightest of all stars fell with grace into Mondstadt's very own Windrise.
Teyvat rejoices in the ecstatic ideal of being loved.
A meeting of vision holders was quickly held in the Cathedral, discussing immediate plans as some of the most favored (Venti, Jean, Kaeya, Albedo to name a few) went ahead to fetch the Creator from the large tree.
While Diluc was often the center of any other meeting due to his authority and influence, this was something he chose to step back from. Standing by the windows, away from the meeting, he watched on as Eula and the rest conversed around the circular table.
He isn't even sure why he's invited. Perhaps they felt it was obligatory for vision holders, regardless of favorability? Then again, he could always offer a fraction of his mountain-loads of wealth to help with the festivities.
At least he's competent at being a wallet.
As the others pull out their crowns and stars, weapons and artifacts, eager to thank the one responsible for the gifts, an unknown emotion bubbles in his stomach. It's faint, but it's there.
He tries to look away.
"Everyone, everyone! They're entering the gates!" Fischl announces uncharacteristically to the room as her eye glows brightly, undoubtedly looking through Oz's eyes from the sky.
"We should wait by the statue to welcome them, right?" Barbara chirps in, hands clasped and wavy hair bouncing with every step.
Diluc watches as people steadily leave the room, following last as they walk down the steps to greet the approaching group. Some civilians gathered to see the scene, others didn't really understand what a Player or Creator was to a vision holder, while Diluc—
Diluc stood by the steps to see them crowd around you.
You, surrounded with words of gratitude and cheerful squeals. He sees the smile on your face and feels relief that you don't seem too overwhelmed.
He leaves the area without a second thought.
He doesn't exactly see you around the next few days. With Mondstadt celebrating a new festival, the taverns were always full and busy with customers (both local and foreign). You were probably busy too, spending time with the different allogenes and entertaining those who came from Liyue to meet you. He's heard of a funeral consultant with three crowns (are consultants that admirable of a job to you?) and an adeptus gifted with various five-star polearms (this was understandable for the adepti, unlike the consultant).
He doesn't expect to see you at all until you leave for the next nation, honestly.
That is, until the tavern settles into a more peaceful atmosphere and Jean rushes in with several other allogenes. It's unusual to see his childhood friend in the tavern; still, he greets her amicably and asks what brings her here.
"(Name) will be coming here soon with Kaeya and a few others. It's a little impromptu, but we were hoping for a place to settle in with drinks. Perhaps try some apple cider." She smiles, taking a seat by the bar.
(Name)? Jean was already on a first name basis with the Creator?
Diluc thinks perhaps Jean truly is the favorite, she does have a few golden stars in her home.
Somehow, it's not surprising at all to know that his apple cider was famous enough to drag you in. At least there's something about the Dawn Winery in your favor. He promptly gets his employees to work, clearing a few tables near the bar, rearranging the furniture to give space good enough for a group.
Your entrance into the bar was just as lively; with your favored allogenes chatting away with you, everyone falling into place at different parts of the tavern, ordering drinks and meals.
He's glad you enjoy apple cider.
You're trying to play it cool, really. Trying your best not to get overexcited and glomp everyone and everything.
You're taking things step by step as you converse with Jean, Lisa, and Albedo; as you share meals with Barbara and Sucrose; as you play with Klee and Diona; tour the city with Fischl and Bennett. There's plenty of time to meet everyone and your schedule has been filled to the brim with all the fun your having.
You'll see that glimpse of red hair again— one that was lingering by the Cathedral staircase. Diluc doesn't like crowds, so it's fine that he isn't approaching you. It's also fine that he hasn't visited at least once, unlike the several raging from Liyue to Sumeru who took the journey to meet you early.
Diluc is too busy a person to meet you; whether it's because of the winery or his darknight hero duties, you wouldn't dare take his time.
— but when are you supposed to give him all the gifts you've brought for him???
Your determination to build him up in one go, from Talent levels to Constellations to Artifacts and Weaponry, all came down to this moment — and the man was simply nowhere to be seen!
An unknowingly loud sigh escapes your lips, catching the attention of the Cavalry Captain next to you.
"Now, what's got our (Name) so down in the dumps?" Kaeya hums, glancing at your face as you stutter a response.
"Aah it's not that, it's just. . ."
Your brother is too busy, I just want to meet him!!
"I'm thirsty." You deflect, looking around for a stall. The streets of Mond were nothing like the minimized version you see in the game; with the city being ten times larger than what you remembered it to be.
"Oh! Oh! Klee suggests apple cider!" The little girl giggles, running around your legs in excitement, "Angel's Share is nearby and big brother Albedo alwaaays takes me there for apple cider!"
Angel's Share. Bartender. A great idea has appeared!
At the excited look on your face, Jean walks up ahead of you.
"Why don't I go and inform the tavern to prepare us a space first, it would save us the waiting time."
"That would be great, Jean!"
You hope you aren't being too obvious.
With the way your eyes would linger on him, casting side glances and hoping he would greet you to strike up a conversation, the way most allogenes do. You didn't want to abruptly disturb his work, nor do you want seem desperate, so you waited for his initiative.
Yet, Diluc lingers just a little outside your group's circle. Your food and drinks were refilled by Charles, you've talked with nearly everyone but the person you want to talk to.
"It's getting pretty late, we should head home for the night." Someone suggests.
What?
No!
"Hm? Do you still have something in mind?" Kaeya asks. You realized you said it out loud, catching the attention of nearby patrons.
With a frantic glance around the tavern, your eyes make contact with Diluc's. He pauses as well, wondering what caused your little outburst.
You are definitely not leaving, not when you don't know when you could catch Diluc in his free time again! You'd be leaving for Liyue by then!
Hands slamming the table to stand up and with a small burst of courage, you approach the bartender who turns away from Charles. He raises an eyebrow at your approach. It's odd the way you feel flustered and nervous, finally facing him.
Pausing just in front of him, he looks on curiously.
"Would you like a refill?" He asks.
"A-ah no, I mean, yes but that's not why I'm here. I. . ." You stutter, stumbling over your words as you try not to behave awkwardly. Should you start with a casual topic?
"You seem to be quite busy." You say.
Diluc blinks. He isn't sure what you're implying. Neither is Kaeya or Jean, who stopped to look at the exchange of words.
"I suppose. . . but as a winery, we do thrive in impromptu festivities." He replies curtly before realizing, was it rude that he never visited the Creator?
"Ah, is it my lack of visit? I apologize, I would have visited but it seems that you were quite satisfied with your favorites and-"
"No, no, no," You wave your hand, cutting him off, "I understand you're busy. You don't have to visit at all! How could I take your time— wait," You pause, recalling his words.
"Favorites?" You tilt your head, "What do you mean I seemed satisfied with my favorites? What do you mean by favorites?"
"Your favorites... allogenes who received your favor. Those you have granted gifts."
Your jaw laxes. Favorites? They decided you play favorites based on how much you've built them?
"You think. . ." You say carefully, not wanting to hurt anyone's feelings, "That I offer gifts to my favorites?"
Diluc nods slowly, unsure of your questioning.
Although it would be a lie to say you didn't have your personal favorites, it would still be inaccurate that it's based on gifts. After all, you built everyone who came home by chance. As an avid player, you did your best to farm and push everyone to their full potential.
Diluc, however, never came home no matter how much you wanted him to. It can't be possible that he doesn't know how much he is loved, right?
"Then what about you?" You blurt out, "How do you think I view you?"
He stares at you oddly. At this point, many around you had stopped to tune in. Everyone knew Master Diluc never received your favor, so why are you conversing with him?
Meanwhile, Diluc wonders if you want him to admit it. Must he say it in front of everyone how he never received gifts?
"I suppose. . . I'm not one of them. It's quite understandable. I don't intend to question your judgement—"
"What?" You exclaim, a look of shock crosses your face, "You think I don't like you?" Voice raised in disbelief, you feel the eyes of many turning to watch the scene.
Diluc mirrors your confusion.
"I can't believe you would– no, that isn't it at all!" You stutter over your words, a frantic need to prove him wrong goes through you, "You— you of all people!"
"Me?" He repeats.
"I've always wanted you!"
A silence settles over the tavern. Did you have to put it so bluntly? You freeze in shock at your own words. Diluc's expression of disbelief turns flustered, face turning as red as his hair.
Explain yourself.
"I- I mean, I've always wanted you to come home. Ever since the start, really! It's just that you never did-"
"Hmm... so it implies that it's out of your control, correct?" Kaeya piqued, looking on curiously. He's been listening in the entire time. You nod your head.
"Yes! It's a game of chance for me as well. It's not to say that favor is an accident, I truly wanted everyone to come home! It's just that—" You turn to Diluc, "You never did, no matter how much I wanted you to. How was I supposed to give you your gifts?"
Diluc snaps out of his shock, blinking at you, "Gifts?"
"Yes, gifts! I've been saving them up for you, ever since the start." You pause, shyly looking away, "When I said I wanted you since the beginning I meant it. I came here for you, after all."
He looks at you in disbelief, and probably half the tavern as well. You can't help the small chuckle from your lips. With an outstretched hand, something materializes between you. It glows a blinding golden light, before settling to reveal–
"Wolf's Gravestone. It's a weapon for you."
You didn't have to say it— anyone with eyes could see how it was practically made for Diluc. With large handles and a color scheme that matches his own, Wolf's gravestone doesn't look as divine or ethereal as the other weapons you've gifted, but it looked just as powerful, if not menacing.
With a gesture, Diluc grips the handle.
"Fits like a glove." Kaeya whistles, impressed. As does the rest of the tavern who stopped to stare.
Suddenly, flames burst forth from the weapon. It sears and glows red. Unlike the common claymore that can't handle the the prowess of Diluc's flames, Wolf's Gravestone embraces it. Like an extension of his own hand.
He breaks his gaze away from the weapon to look at you.
"Thank you. . ." He mutters softly, but it's genuine. You smile.
"That's not the last of it, you know."
"What?"
With another flick of your hand, artifacts and talent books materialize. They flow around him like a dance as more and more begin to appear, lighting up the tavern like the night sky.
"I told you I brought gifts!"
All the days spent farming for him and other pyro characters finally paid off. The glimmering artifacts reflected in his own red eyes as he stares, entranced.
Favor did not come to him in meteor showers like it did to the other allogenes; rather, it came to him in your form. Proof of him being loved. The spectacle continued— after the artifacts and talent levels were the constellation (the crowd ooh'ed and aah'ed at the sight), then came the five star apparel (a nostalgic sight to him, and it changed his flames to a darker red), and the ascension materials you passed off as trinkets.
By the end of it, he had a hand over his lower face, his red bangs hid just the ends of his eyes. "I just thought I wasn't that favorable. . ." He muttered and you leaned in to peek at his covered face, wondering why he was shying away.
But it was evident to the tavern— the pink dusted ears, the flushed cheeks, and the overwhelming emotion in his eyes. Diluc Ragnvindr was flustered, and it's a sight enough to make even the drunks place down their beers for a closer look.
You bit your lip, trying to prevent the widest of smiles, "Do you believe yourself loved now?" You ask and he gives the faintest of nods.
"Thank you," He says, "For favoring me."

NPC Life is the best
(Genshin Impact x gn reader - sagau)
(second person pov)
part4 —> part5 —> part6
——————————————————
Sinking into the bathtub, you sigh happily as you finally take a much needed bath. All that moving in one day sure is exhausting..
You take your time enjoying the amenities that resided in Diluc’s guest bathroom, such as countless soaps, masks, lotions, and even skincare products. If you hadn’t known better, you would’ve assumed it was a luxury hotel..
Changing into your new set of silk pajamas, you couldn’t help but stare at yourself in the mirror. Back on earth, you had the occasional pimple or two, but now your skin looked better than ever. Could it have been because of Diluc’s immaculate products or could It have been because of the effects of tyvat? Questions like these plagued your mind as you suddenly feel the urge for a late night snack.
Creeping down the stairs quietly, you notice a warm figure sitting on an armchair near the fireplace.
“Diluc..?” You say softly as though not to disturb him. hearing no reply, you walk quietly over to him and notice he’s asleep.
His position is straight as if he were awake, but his tilted head and relaxed, closed eye expression gives away his deep slumber. Gently chuckling you can’t help but stare at his soft face. Unlike awake Diluc, this Diluc is much more soft and peaceful. not as stressed and not as stiff as he was before.
gently shuffling over to the couch, you bring over a blanket and drape it over his shoulders, making sure the blanket covers his entire body besides his head. Proud of your work, you step back and stretch, now reminded of your previous reason for coming down the first floor.
you head over to the kitchen and grab what seems to be tea time snacks from the fridge. Surely Adeline won’t mind..
Gobbling them up, you down a cup of water and sneak back upstairs. With a satisfied smile you bury yourself under the luxurious covers of the bed and fall into a peaceful dream.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Smiling softly, Diluc couldn’t help but bask in the warmth of the blanket draped over his body. He knew he was enamored by you when you had begun to chat back at the tavern, but now he couldn’t help but relish in the fact that he was the one to receive your kindness, your soft touch..
you had gotten so close to him too. Tucking in the blanket behind his shoulders and fixing the blanket to cover his whole body, Diluc was so nervous that you would hear his heart beat out of chest from your fleeting and gentle touches. Even though they weren’t much, it still made him feel so tingly. It was only then did he realize, did others receive this much kindness from you? Surly they didn’t deserve it. They probably don’t even know the worth of your smile or the worth of your kindness.
Diluc was certain about this. You shouldn’t be so trusting of others.. what if they end up treating you badly? What if they hurt you? All these thoughts plagued his mind as he glared at the fireplace. You had so easily followed him back to his manor and had so easily believed every word he said. Of course, Diluc would never be so barbaric and lie to you or harm you. He was sure that if it was anyone else who had offered you to stay in their home, that they would most definitely harm you in someway.
the thought was unbearable
sighing softly, Diluc got up from the armchair and made his way upstairs. Passing by your room, he could hear soft snores. Smiling at your silly noises, Diluc made his way to his bedroom.
perhaps it was best if you stayed with him..

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
-YOU DIDNT NEED TO BE A GENIUS to get an idea of what was happening. Your lower body brushed against the soft yet sharp grass, it felt all too real. Your (e/c) eyes narrowed its way to a tree. An ordinary tree with many ripe fruits; one of it being able to take your attention.
Your hand circled on one of the fruits bottom and plucked it carefully, it matched exactly as your expectation. A plump fruit that seemed to be full of its juice and taste, an appearance that resembled a beautiful like sunset furthermore having a sweet and gentle aroma that is able to energize an individual.
Your lips slowly made its way near the side of the familiar fruit, the texture and feeling were soft yet hard. The aroma itself made your mouth faintly water, you swallowed your saliva having a high expectation out of this. After all, you always wanted to see what it really tasted like after collecting so many.
"Thank you for the meal." You lastly said and took a bite.
Your eyes widened a bit, this was far more than what you expected. The flavor was sweet but not too much to be like a candy. It was juicy enough to make you feel more hydrated than ever. It didn't take you long to start devouring the whole fruit at once
Tumblr media
"Better than i had thought." Your back laid against the tree, all of its fruits gone for it was rapidly consumed by someone (you).
You wiped off the fluid on the side of your face. A small smile looming over your lips "I feel more.. Refreshed than ever." Your tone consisted of slight suprise and satisfaction "Still, i cant seem to get my head wrapped around whats happening.." You mumbled quietly to yourself, having your fair share of the internet you were well aware on the many fanfictions and AU the game GENSHIN IMPACT had, but it having to actually become a real life situation is something too impossible to even happen.
Your feelings felt too mixed and unorganized. Half of what you felt was being thankful, because out of all the things you were gonna reincarnate in. The gods or whoever did it brought you into a more PG game; sure it had killing.. And some questionable things but as long as you live like an NPC things will go in the right track!.
With a goal set in mind you dusted off your hands following with walking down the dirt path that led to the gates of the iconic town MONDSTADT. you could remember it like it was just yesterday when you first played genshin. A feeling crept up to you, something similar - that you've walked down this path for millions of times and that muscle memory just took in. Deja vu didn't leave your mind until you were met with two guards infront of you.
"Halt. Who are you and what is your business here in mondstat" One of the guards spoke up, eyeing you up and down incase you were bringing any dangerous or threatening items to the city.
The guards other companion putted his hand on top of his friends shoulder "Wait, ___. They look familiar dont they?" His tone filled with suspicion, he couldn't shake it off as just a normal coincidence.
"What? What are you even saying ____. I believe you're making a far stretch in this one, i clearly remember that they have (opposite color) hair." The guards companion replied back with confidence in his answer. And it soon didn't take long for it to turn to a long and repeating argument on what was the appearance of the person they were arguing about.
"Jeez, who even is the person their saying. They must seem complicated" You thought to yourself while at the same time, was rubbing the back of your head - all you wanted was to slip into the city of Mondstadt but it seems to be much harder than you had thought in mind.
During the time the two guards were still rambling about the appearance of a certain someone. a silhouette of a girl with long silky brown hair, complimenting her appearance with a bright crimson bow that anybody could see from a mile away.
"Huh? I wonder whats going on over there.. Better go check it out!" The mysterious girl exclaimed, swiftly jumping down the soaring cliff. The moment her feet left the ground, wing like designs appeared behind her back which helped her safely land on the ground yet again.
"Whats going on here?" The mysterious girl walked between the two guards to stop their argument. Both her hands placed on her waist as she looked at the two with confusion.
"Oh- Outrider amber. Good to see you today" The guard greeted the named girl, AMBER. Amber exchanged the guards greeting with a smile "Good to see you today too. Now, will anyone care to explain what's going on?" She questioned, her hazel eyes glancing at the three people infront of her; You noticed how her gaze seemed too be longer on yours - as if she had something on her mind.
"I'll explain"
"Let me explain"
"So basically.."
You and the other two guards were caught off guard by the sudden synchronization. "Uhm, I can explain the situation" You spoke up while (e/c) eyes looked at the two.
"No, I've got a more grip and understanding standing on the situation, allow me" One of the guards replied back, his other companion raised a brow on what the other had just said.
"Please. I remember the details on the situation more clearly, I'll be telling you what happened Outrider Amber." His companion argued back to the other
"I'm doing you a favor so allow me."
"You're gonna leave out some parts so just let me do it"
"I'll do it"
"No, I'll do it"
"Guys.."
Tumblr media
"So.. What you're all saying is that this person just wanted to get inside mondstadt?" Amber questioned;it took a long while till you just decided to explain to amber what really happened. Still, you couldn't shake off the feeling how intensely she was staring at you for - it creeped you out badly but you tried not to make it too obvious.
"Thats basically what happened" You confirmed giving her a small nod. Amber's expression seemed to be in deep thought for some moments till she gave you a smile in return.
"Seems like theres no problem then! You don't seem to pose as a threat, uhm.." Amber trailed off not really having to get your name yet. "Oh! It's (Name), pleasure to meet you" You kindly greeted her
You expected a positive greeting back but instead, your body jolted slightly. Seeing her shocked expression staring at you deeply for a moment and soon returned to normal.
Tumblr media
Amber's expression calmed down and she gave you a apologetic smile "Oh sorry bout that... Just go right ahead" She offered, her fingertips gently wrapping around the back of her neck as her gaze were on the floor. You questioned her abnormal behavior earlier but the thought of going inside THE city of Mondstadt that you've dreamed ever since you first played made you ecstatic. Not to mention that you just met with one of the main side characters (amber) made you forget her strange activity just a few seconds ago.
You gave her a nod "Alright. Thank you!" And without hesitating you quickly walked inside the city of Mondstadt. The aroma of dandelions waved through the surroundings as people were joyful and free; something that you've craved since your 'previous' life.
Today is a brand new page in a book, where you're the one holding the pen and get to be able to write whatever you desire! WELCOME TO MONDSTADT
Tumblr media
Two pairs of hazel colored eyes followed your body whilst you gleefully strolled from shop to shop. Her gaze not leaving you for even a second, for fear shrouded over her. Fear that you again would leave her sight.
".. They can't be..."
"You've felt it too huh?"
"... Get the others.
"We can't let them get away"
Tumblr media
[A/N: HOPE YALL ENJOY PART 2. SORRY IT SEEMED SHORT, I'LL TRY TO MAKE PART 3 LONGER. ANYWAYS PROLOUGE IS DONE, MONDSTADT ARC WILL START NOW

SAGAU Mondstadt - Holiday Special 2023
Summary: “When you told the Spark Knight about holidays from your home world, you never expected it to turn into such a big deal. But who are you to argue with having a holly, jolly time?”
Word Count: ~9.8k
“Master Jean! Master Jean!”
The door to the Grand Master’s office was shoved open, almost slamming into the wall, as the Spark Knight burst into the room, excitement radiating off of her form like heat off of flames. She came to a stop in the middle of the office, almost toppling over from the weight of her backpack.
“Can we please have a “Christmas” festival? Pretty please?”
“Klee…!” Jean looked up from her desk, her eyes widened. “You shouldn’t be-”
Her words were cut off at the sight of you appearing in the doorway to the office, your demeanor a lot more calm than Klee’s. You entered the room, an apologetic smile displayed on your lips.
“Oh, Your Grace!”
“Sorry for the intrusion, Jean.” You looked at the Acting Grand Master for only a moment before you shifted your attention down at Klee. “Hey, I know you’re excited, but you shouldn’t just barge into Jean’s office without knocking first, Klee. Remember what I told you about good behavior?”
“Oops. That’s right… sorry, Master Jean.” Klee looked down at her feet for a moment, before a smile returned to her face as she looked up at Jean. “Klee’s just super excited about Christmas!”
Jean furrowed her eyebrows, confusion appearing in her frown. “Christ… mas?”
“Mmm-hmm!” Klee nodded her head. “It’s something Their Grace just told Klee about!”
Your smile shifted into something more sheepish when Jean looked towards you again. “I was just talking to Klee about some… winter festivities from where I’m from, and she seems to have gotten a bit excited about Christmas, in particular. I honestly should’ve expected this, heh…”
“It sounds really, really fun!” Klee began bouncing on the balls of her feet. “There’s a big tree, and lots of presents under it, and this old man named Shanty Cloths who likes eating cookies!”
“His name is Santa Claus, Klee.” You stifled a chuckle at the excitement on Klee’s face, before looking over at Jean again. “But, yeah, she wants to experience the magical joys of it herself.”
The Spark Knight took a step closer to the desk, looking up at Jean with hopeful eyes.
“Oh, can we please have a Christmas festival, Master Jean? It’ll be so amazing, and fun!”
Jean blinked a few times, an unsure frown on her face, before she shook her head. “I’m sorry, Klee, but we can’t just put on a whole new festival that we know nothing about, especially with such short notice. It’d likely be a complete disaster, and I’ve already got a lot on my plate as is.”
The smile on Klee’s face slowly vanished, her form appearing to deflate. “Oh…”
You looked between the Spark Knight and the Acting Grand Master, your own smile fading as you focused on Klee — her crushed enthusiasm didn’t sit well with you — before you spoke.
“...you know, it’s not impossible. You can still experience Christmas, Klee.”
Jean looked at you with confusion. “Your Grace…?”
“Can Klee really?” The Spark Knight perked up as she turned towards you, her eyes widening with hope again. “It sounds so fun! And I want all of my friends to experience Christmas too!”
“Your Grace, I don’t mean to doubt you, but…”
Jean placed a hand on her chest, looking at you with worry in her gaze.
“It really would be near-impossible to put on a festival like this.”
“It’s okay.” You chuckled, and shrugged your shoulders. “Christmas is actually just a one-day holiday. Sure, there’s usually a build-up of festive energy a few weeks before it, but it doesn’t actually last more than a single day. While Klee keeps calling it a festival, it’s not really one.”
“Oh…?”
“So, Klee, do you think this would work for you?” You looked down at the Spark Knight, a smile on your lips. “We take part in a few traditional Christmas activities together over the next couple of weeks, and then finish it all off with a big ol’ Christmas party at the end. What do you think?”
“Yay! That sounds perfect!” Klee smiled brightly. “Klee can’t wait! There’s so much to do!”
You turned your attention over towards Jean. “Would that be okay, Jean?”
“That… should be fine, yes.”
“Great!” You clapped your hands together as you looked at Klee. “Then let’s get started!”
- - - - -
There were crayons littering the table as Klee readied herself, the young girl in red practically vibrating with excitement where she sat, and she held a crayon tightly in one hand with a piece of paper laying in front of her. She looked up at you, her eyes wide and sparkling with pure joy.
“Okay, first things first… I suppose we need to actually figure out what to do.” You looked down at Klee with a smile. “And who to include. As fun as it would be to have the entire city celebrate Christmas this time, it’s not very realistic, so… we’ll need to figure out a smaller list of people.”
“Oh! All of Klee’s friends have to experience Christmas!” Klee began to draw, switching crayons when in need of a different color.  “Like Big Brother Albedo, and Master Jean, and Kaeya, and-”
Klee continued to list people as she drew on the paper, before she lifted it up to show it to you.
“Is this okay, Your Grace?”
It was a cluttered drawing, filled with Klee’s artistic interpretations of people you knew well: the playable characters of Mondstadt — your “vessels”, as they often described themselves to be.
You nodded. “That seems good. Those are the people that I’m also closest to in Mondstadt.”
Klee set the drawing aside, before she grabbed another piece of paper and one of the crayons closest to her on the table. She tilted her head to continue looking up at you with a bright smile.
“Okay, but… what do people do for Christmas, Your Grace?”
“People do a lot of things. There’s no one right way to celebrate Christmas, Klee.” You grabbed a piece of paper and a crayon for yourself. “I’m pretty sure that you’re already familiar with some winter activities that align with Christmas, such as playing in the snow and making sweets, eh?”
Klee nodded and turned her attention to her paper, beginning to draw some winter scenes.
You twirled the crayon in your fingers a bit, before you chuckled. “And, since you’re helping to bring the joy of Christmas to everyone, I suppose that would make you Santa’s Helper, Klee.”
“Santa’s… Helper?” Klee blinked, curiosity flooding her widened eyes. “What’s that?”
“Well… it’s a person who helps Santa Claus spread Christmas cheer. Santa’s only one person, and he has the big job of delivering gifts to all the good children of the world, so he relies on his helpers to make sure that everyone is having fun during the weeks leading up to the big day. As this is the first time Christmas is being celebrated in Teyvat, Santa’ll appreciate all of your help.”
Klee let a wide smile appear on her face. “Whoa! So Klee gets to help Santa?”
“Yeah! And I just know you’ll do a great job, Klee!”
“Oh! And Dodoco too, right? She can also be Santa’s Helper?”
“Of course! The more, the merrier!”
“Yay!”
The Spark Knight clapped her hands in delight before she continued drawing, and you found yourself glancing at her pointed ears, your smile softening, before you started to draw as well.
Ah.
How fitting.
- - - - -
It felt crowded, having so many people in one area.
The playable members of the Knights of Favonius — from the Acting Grand Master to the Knights’ maid — lined up before you inside of the Knights’ headquarters; most had a look of curiosity or confusion on their face, and some even had concern painting their facial features.
But Klee was bouncing on the balls of her feet, standing next to you with a big smile on her face.
“Oh, Klee?” Albedo looked at the Spark Knight as he noticed her behavior, the curiosity in his eyes growing just slightly as he did. “You seem to be in rather high spirits about something…”
Klee nodded. “Uh-huh! ‘Cause it’s time for “Secret Santa”!”
The concern present in the audience was fully replaced with confusion and curiosity.
“...”Secret… Santa”?”
“Yeah! It’s gonna be part one for celebrating Christmas!”
Noelle put a finger to her chin. “Oh? I’ve never heard of “Christmas” before…”
“If it’s something to celebrate-” Amber looked up at Eula. “-then it’s gotta be a holiday, right?”
Eula nodded, crossing her arms over her chest. “Yes, it must be some kind of festivity.”
“So…” Mika placed a hand on his chest in relief. “...it’s not an emergency? Thank goodness…”
Lisa let out a hum as she looked over to Jean, who had a lack of surprise on her face unlike almost everyone else present. The librarian let her lips turn up into a subtle smile. “Well, you seem to have an idea of what Klee’s talking about, Jean. Mind enlightening the rest of us?”
Jean looked from the Knights towards Klee, and then looked at you. She looked a little stressed out — which was, unfortunately, normal — so you decided to explain the situation in her stead.
“Amber, Eula, you’re both right!” You smiled as you looked over all the Knights. “Christmas is a holiday from another world. I told Klee about it, she wanted to celebrate it, and so here we are!”
“A holiday from another world…” Kaeya had a look of interest in his eye. “How intriguing.”
Amber raised her hand, bringing attention to herself as you looked at her. “What’s it like, Your Grace? It’s probably different from any of the holidays that we have here in Mondstadt, isn’t it?”
“Eh…” You thought for a moment, putting a finger up to your chin. “...Christmas is mainly just a time to gather with loved ones to give gifts, eat good food, and… well, just spend time with one another. That’s the simplest way I can explain it, at least; does that make sense to everybody?”
Lisa chuckled, the smile on her lips softening. “Sounds like it shares quite a few similarities with some festivities we have. I think everyone here gets the picture that you set up, Your Grace.”
“Good! So, as Klee said earlier, she wanted to do something called “Secret Santa” with you guys.” You looked over the group of Knights, taking in all of their faces. “It’s an activity some workplaces do around Christmas, so having the Knights — well, the Knights that’re vessels — participate in this particular one seemed pretty obvious, especially when I told Klee about it.”
“What kind of activity is it, Your Grace?” Jean still looked a bit frazzled. “As much as I’d like to help Klee and you celebrate Christmas, having so many Knights occupied at once would be…”
“Don’t worry, Jean.” You sent a smile to her, hoping to reassure her worries and sooth her stress even a little. “This activity won’t take long. Basically, everyone participating will have to pull out a name from a hat — all the names of the participants will be written on slips of paper — and have to get them a present before the Christmas party that’ll take place in a couple of weeks. Oh, and you can’t tell anyone else the name that you pulled. That’s the “Secret” part of “Secret Santa”.”
“We…” Mika averted his gaze nervously. “...need to get a present for someone else?”
Sucrose fiddled with her fingers. “Based on a random drawing…?”
Amber smiled, her hands clenched in front of her. “Oh, that sounds like it could be fun!”
“Yes, but it could also be quite a difficult task-” Eula glanced around at the other Knights before looking at Amber. “-if you happen to draw someone that you’re not that well-acquainted with.”
“Well… I know that I just said you can’t tell anyone else who you pulled, but since I won’t be participating in the actual activity, you can come and ask me for gift ideas if you struggle with coming up with your own. I’ll be able to keep the secret.” You scanned the Knights with your eyes, a smile still on your lips. “So… is everybody in? You don’t have to participate if you don’t want to, but the more people that do, the more fun it’ll be. Just don’t feel pressured to, okay?”
The Knights glanced around at each other briefly before looking at you and Klee again.
Albedo nodded. “Very well. I see no reason not to, especially if Klee wants us to participate.”
Sucrose glanced at Albedo, before giving a short nod towards you as well. “O-Okay…”
“You can count on Eula and me to join too!” Amber smiled at Eula, the Spindrift Knight giving a slight nod, before she looked at you again. “It sounds like a lot of fun, so we couldn’t miss out!”
Lisa hummed. “...I have no objections either. This doesn’t seem like it’ll be too much work…”
Noelle straightened her posture when your gaze traveled over to her, her hands folded politely in front of her. “If that’s what you desire, then I’ll join as well. It… does sound like fun, I admit.”
“A-Ah…” Mika still looked a bit nervous as he nodded. “Alright, I can do it. I’ll try my best…”
“I suppose that if everyone else is joining, it’d be a downer if I didn’t.” Kaeya had a smile on his lips, a glimmer of amusement in his eye. “So you can include me as a participant, Your Grace.”
Jean let out a sigh. “...okay, I’m in too.”
“Yay!” Klee clapped in delight, smiling brightly. “All of Klee’s friends are joining!”
It took no time at all for the slips of paper bearing all of the Knights’ names to be created, all of which were then dumped into Klee’s hat, the Spark Knight having offered it to you happily. You tossed it like a salad for a few seconds, mixing them together, before handing it back to Klee.
“Alright, everyone. Make sure to choose one slip of paper, and keep the name a secret.”
The sight of Klee going around to each of the Knights, each one reaching a hand into her hat and grabbing a slip of paper, was heartwarming, in a way; the young girl in red was giggling as she received smile after smile from the Knights when she offered her hat to them, and the air in the room felt lighthearted as everyone received their targets for the activity. Some of the Knights were quite good at keeping who they got a secret — looking straight ahead with poker faces or a casual smile — while you noticed some of the others glancing around, likely at their targets.
“Everyone has a slip?” You saw everyone nod in response to you, a piece of paper in one of their hands that they put away safely. “Good. Then you’ve all got until the party to get a gift for whoever you pulled, and don’t be afraid to ask me for help if you need it. You’re all dismissed!”
Your attention was pulled away from Klee putting her hat back on by two figures you noticed approaching in your peripheral vision, and you looked up to see they were Mika and Sucrose.
“...need help, you two?”
Mika and Sucrose looked at each other for a moment before focusing on you.
“Yes, please, if you will.” Sucrose adjusted her glasses as she averted her eyes from you, her ears twitching a bit. “I’m afraid that I’m… not quite sure what to get for who I pulled, s-so…”
“Neither am I.” Mika rubbed the back of his head, also averting his gaze from you. “I’ve never really interacted too much with the person I pulled, and I’m afraid I might make a bad choice…”
“It’s okay.” You smiled and glanced between the both of them. “We’ve got plenty of time before the party, and I’ll make sure to help the both of you pick out good gifts for your respective pulls.”
Sucrose let out a sigh of relief. “Thanks so much, Your Grace. I’m sorry if this is a bother…”
“Yes, thank you very much.” Mika smiled slightly. “I hope that I’m not being a bother, either…”
You let out a chuckle, placing your hands on your hips. “Don’t worry, you two will never be a bother to me, and I offered to help with picking out gifts for a reason. It’s what I’m here for.”
The sensation of someone tugging on your sleeve caught your attention, and you looked down to see Klee looking up at you. You smiled at her before you looked at Mika and Sucrose again.
“I’ll meet up with you guys later to pick out gifts, okay? Just try and give it some thought by yourselves first, and then I’ll go over it individually with each of you in a few days’ time, okay?”
Mika and Sucrose nodded, looking a little relieved, as you let Klee drag you to the next activity.
- - - - -
“J-Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle… all the… way…?”
“It’s okay, Barbara. There’s no need to get so stressed.”
You were both amused yet concerned as you watched Barbara try to memorize the Christmas carols you told her about; you could see how tense her shoulders were, and could hear how her voice shook ever so slightly as she gave the carols a go, the melody enchanting yet unsteady.
“Your singing’s the best, Miss Barbara!” Klee sent a bright smile up towards the shining idol of Mondstadt, her eyes sparkling. “The Christmas carols sound so pretty when you sing them!”
“Ah, do they…? I feel like I’m singing them all wrong…”
“Don’t worry, you only just learned them.” You smiled at Barbara, trying to reassure her, even just a bit. “And caroling is going to be a group activity. You won’t have to sing them alone, ‘kay?”
Barbara blinked a few times, her eyes widened with surprise. “Huh?”
“Yeah! Like me, for example. I’ll be singing with you!”
“...h-huh?!”
That somehow seemed to be the wrong thing to say, as evidenced by how Barbara clasped her hands together, the nervous aura around her only growing instead of lessening. Her form began to tremble a bit where she stood, your smile faltering as her breathing began to quicken as well.
Klee tugged on the deaconess’s frock. “It’ll be okay, Miss Barbara! Klee will be singing too!”
Barbara snapped out of it as she looked down at Klee. “Oh, you’ll be singing as well?”
“Mmm-hmm!” Klee nodded, letting go of Barbara’s frock and instead placing her hands on her hips. “And all of our friends are going to too! So you don’t have to be scared, Miss Barbara!”
“...you make it seem so easy.” Barbara’s eyes flickered towards you for a second, before she closed her eyes and let out a breath. “I can’t help but feel nervous, but I’ll try to get it together.”
Klee giggled before turning towards you. “How many Christmas carols are you gonna teach us, Your Grace? Klee isn’t sure how many everyone’ll be able to learn before we have the party…”
The Spark Knight had a point that you thought about for a moment; there was only so much time before the Christmas party, and everyone had a limit to how many carols they would be able to memorize before then. It would be best for you to just stick to a few of the simpler ones this year, especially since you were the one who had to teach them to all of the party guests.
“About… three or four, I think.” You nodded to yourself, and refocused your gaze down on Klee, who was still smiling up at you. “I’ve taught you guys “Jingle Bells”, so… maybe I can also teach you guys “Deck the Halls”, “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”, and… also “The Twelve Days of Christmas”. I think that’d be a good selection for Mondstadt’s first official Christmas celebration.”
You looked over at Barbara, who appeared to be a little calmer now as she did a few breathing exercises. “They’re all on the simple and repetitive side, so learning them should be very easy.”
“That sounds fine.” Barbara nodded, determination in her gaze. “I’ll do my best, Your Grace.”
Klee bounced on the balls of her feet happily, her hands raised. “Yeah, we’ll do our best!”
“Ah, keep your voice down, Klee.” You chuckled. “We’re outside, but still near the Church.”
“O-Oh, right, hehe.”
- - - - -
The kitchen smelled like heaven, the countertop covered in several types of Christmas goodies of varying quality; it was like a dessert buffet with all kinds of cookies, cakes, candies, and more.
“Thanks again for helping us, Noelle.”
“Oh, it’s my pleasure, Your Grace.”
Klee overlooked the counter from the step-stool that she stood on, an excited glimmer in her eyes. “Wow…! There’s so many treats! Do people really get to have all of this for Christmas?”
“Of course!” You picked up a chocolate chip cookie, which was still warm. “Sweets are a huge part of Christmas, like leaving out milk and cookies for Santa on the night before Christmas.”
“Is that like sharing wine with Barbatos during Weinlesefest?”
You paused for a moment, taking a bite of the cookie in your hand before you shrugged, a smile on your face. “Yeah, I guess it’s similar to that. Santa loves cookies like Barbatos loves wine.”
“Your Grace, will this be satisfactory?” Noelle’s soft voice guided your attention back over to her, her posture being straightened just slightly when your gaze landed on her form. Her hands were politely folded in front of her, bringing some of your focus to her apron, which was unsurprisingly as clean as it had been at the start of this baking session. “I can continue baking if you’d like.”
“No, no… this’ll be good for now. I just wanted Klee to see what some Christmas goodies were like.” You finished the chocolate chip cookie in your hand, and wiped your hands on your apron, dusting off some of the flour that was on it. “But, since we’ll definitely need these sorts of treats at the Christmas party later this month, would you be up to make more when the time comes?”
“Anything for you, Your Grace.”
Noelle gave a small bow, before she turned her attention to cleaning the kitchen.
“Hey, Klee… do you think we should build gingerbread houses at the party?”
“They make houses out of gingerbread for Christmas?” Klee looked up at you with wide eyes, her mouth open in awe. “Wow, that must take a lot of gingerbread. Do people live in them?”
You held a hand up to your mouth, stifling a laugh and taking a moment to compose yourself before you shook your head. “No, Klee, they don’t. Gingerbread houses are small, kind of like dollhouses, and decorated with icing and candy. Building them is half of the fun, and then eating them afterwards is the other half of the fun. Oh, showing off your house to others is also fun…!”
Klee turned to look at the wide array of handmade candies on the counter, clearly contemplating how she could use them as decorations. Her focus was only broken when you began picking up plates of the goodies you made with Noelle, her gaze moving to the smile you kept on your face.
“Come on, Klee. Let’s clean up. We don’t want to make Noelle do all the work, right?”
“Okay!”
“H-Huh? Ah, Your Grace! That’s not necessary!”
- - - - -
“So, you’re saying that I’m supposed to write a letter to some strange old man that I don’t even know and just… get what I want?” Diona scoffed, placing her hands on her hips and turning her head away. “That sounds totally ridiculous, like some scam that a boozehound would fall for.”
“Aw… no, it’s really true!” Klee clenched her hands in front of her chest. “Their Grace said so!”
Diona looked at you from the corner of her eye for a moment, before she let out a “hmph”, and turned her head to face you and Klee. “Well… I guess that Their Grace wouldn’t lie, so… fine.”
The sounds of cats lazing about and cards being shuffled surrounded you and the two children as your group settled at one of the tables in the Cat’s Tail, though it was considerably less lively than normal due to it being around noon. Klee and Diona both had paper and crayons sitting in front of them, as well as an envelope for each of them to seal their letter when they were done.
“So…” Diona furrowed her eyebrows. “...what exactly are we supposed to do?”
You looked between the two young girls, chuckling with a smile on your lips. “Writing a letter to Santa is easy. All you have to do is write down what you want; just… list it all out on the paper.”
“And this “Santa” guy will make it happen?”
“...eh, try to keep it small-scale, Diona. Santa gives gifts, he doesn’t destroy anything.”
Diona grumbled to herself, her tail thumping against the cushion of her seat in annoyance, but she eventually started to write on the paper in front of her. The Spark Knight also got to work on her own letter, filling her paper with color as she scribbled out what she wanted for Christmas.
And, after they were done, they folded their letters and put them into their envelopes.
“Alright, now you just need to address them to the North Pole.”
Diona and Klee looked at you, curiosity in their eyes, before Diona raised an eyebrow.
“...to where?”
“The North Pole. That’s where Santa Claus lives, and where his workshop is located.”
Klee began to write the address on her envelope — simply “The North Pole”, in big bold letters — while Diona continued to stare at you, an unconvinced frown making its way onto her face.
“How exactly are these gonna get to Santa, anyway? He’s in a completely different world.”
“I’ll deliver them myself.” You carefully took Klee’s letter once she handed it to you, your fingers clasped around the envelope. “No postal service in Teyvat could get there, but I can handle it.”
“...okay.” Diona scribbled on her envelope and handed it to you. “But I still have my doubts.”
You held the two letters carefully, and chuckled again as you looked between the two kids.
“Don’t worry, I’m sure Santa will deliver!”
- - - - -
The gloves on your hands did little to keep out the cold, already covered in a layer of snow as you patted the icy substance thoroughly in your quest to form the base of your future snowman.
Dragonspine was a scary place — you would never traverse it alone in your current state — but the scenery at its edges was just the right amount of “winter wonderland” for you, and the sound of the younger Mondstadtian characters in the surrounding area only bettered that atmosphere.
“Your Grace, you should be careful. Sheer cold can be harmful, even to you.”
Albedo was standing by your side, completely unfazed by the cold; this place was pretty much his natural habitat at this point. His voice held slight concern, though his face remained calm.
“Huh? Nonsense, I’m fine. I ate some goulash before coming here; it’ll keep me warm.”
“You’re shivering, Your Grace.”
“...okay, fine.”
You moved over to the small fire that was built nearby, noticing that Bennett and Fischl were already there; the former was completely drenched and shivering as he huddled close to the fire, while the latter and her night raven familiar were completely fine. You reached your hands out to the fire to warm yourself, your fingers feeling a bit better, and looked over at Bennett.
“What happened to you?”
“Ah…” Bennett smiled, a hint of embarrassment laced within it. “Well… I just, uh…”
“He who has been born the most unfortunate suffered a great moment of slither-” Fischl caught your attention, her tone of voice confident. “-and was plunged into the beck of this biting berg.”
You stared at Fischl for a moment before shifting your gaze over to Oz.
“...the unlucky fellow had slipped on the snow and fell into the river.”
“Oh…!” You raised a hand to your mouth, covering the growing smile on your lips as you stifled a laugh. “Yeah… I guess your bad luck would spring up like that. Are you having fun, though?”
“Huh?” The adventurer tilted his head. “I… guess so?”
“Then that’s all that matters!”
Your attention shifted to Klee and Razor when you noticed them approaching the fire, sticks and stones in their arms. You even spotted some pinecones sitting within Razor’s stash of materials.
“We got the things for the snowman, Your Grace!” Klee bounced with each step, only coming to a stop in front of you. Her feet slid a bit from the snow. “And I found this really cool stick! Look!”
Klee adjusted the items in her arms, before holding up a stick with one hand.
You had to admit: it was a really cool stick.
“This good?” Razor held out his stash of materials to you, allowing you to look over all of it; he had a lot more in his arms than Klee did. “We hunt for what you said, and… this is what we find.”
“Of course!” You nodded, looking up at Razor with a smile. “You both did great!”
“Ah… good.”
Razor looked pleased with your praise; if he had a tail, it would definitely be wagging right now.
With a supply of materials now at your disposal, you began to work with the others to decorate the snowman; the base was all your doing, so you stepped back to let the others take the lead.
“Ore of the darkest night shall make quite a pair of eyes, would it not, my dear companion?”
“Klee’s stick can make a good arm! Oh, it’s hard to reach…”
“Let me, Klee. And this other stick can complete the pair.”
“I… do like this?”
“A pinecone for the nose? Neat! Gah, the rocks for the buttons keep slipping out of my fingers.”
The smile on your face grew as you watched the others work together to form a masterpiece.
“Wow… it looks amazing, everyone!”
It was a jumbled mess, but it was a real product of togetherness; each part was placed on by a different person to make a whole creation — small chunks of iron for the eyes, a pinecone as a nose, sticks for the arms, and rocks for the buttons. It was a shame that you didn’t think to bring any clothes for the snowman to wear, though, but that didn’t hinder the final masterpiece at all.
You and the others took in your combined creation in silent glory for a bit, and then you spoke.
“...so, has everybody had enough snow for today?”
There was a resounding “yes” from the group, and you shifted your gaze over to take note of their current conditions: Bennett had icicles starting to form on his damp clothes, Razor kept his arms close to his body as he shivered like a wolf pup, Fischl denied feeling cold — although Oz pointed out that she had complained earlier about not bringing warmer clothing to this outing — and Klee mentioned that the snow dampened the effect of her bombs. Albedo just appeared to be ready to go whenever everyone else was; he was clearly the one least affected by the cold.
“Then let’s head back to the city for some hot cocoa! Who wants whipped cream and sprinkles?”
“Oh! Oh! Klee does!”
- - - - -
“I’ll take a Gray Valley Sunset, Master Diluc!”
“You… do not need to address me as “Master”, Your Grace…”
“Aw, why not? Everybody else does!”
You planted yourself onto one of the barstools as you watched Diluc get to work behind the counter, the tavern being just as lively as it was most nights; luckily, most of the Angel’s Share patrons were too drunk to pay any attention to you, granting you a rare moment to just relax.
“My, you look rather tired, Your Grace.” Kaeya was sitting on a barstool next to you, leaning on his elbow. “I assume Klee has been dragging you around in her excitement this past week?”
“Yep!” You nodded, immediately grabbing your drink when Diluc placed it in front of you on the counter. “But I don’t regret telling her about Christmas. I’ve been having a lot of fun with all of it.”
The barstool on your other side squeaked as someone sat upon it, and you noticed a bard clad in green leaning into your peripheral vision, a smile set on his lips and a twinkle within his eyes.
“Oh? “Christmas”? What might that be, Your Grace?”
“A holiday from another world. I told Klee about it, and she’s been absolutely obsessed.”
“Ah, so that’s what you’ve been doing these past few days.” Rosaria was sitting on the other side of Kaeya, an alcoholic beverage already securely in her hand. Her expression was set in her usual disinterested frown, though the way she kept her eyes on you showed otherwise. “I heard that Barbara almost passed out when you requested her to sing… “Christmas carols”?”
You let out a short nervous laugh, before starting to drink your juice; it was cold and sweet.
“Oho?” Venti’s interest peaked as he leaned closer to you, the twinkle in his eyes having grown at the mere mention of your musical exploits. “If you need someone to sing for you, Your Grace, you’ve got the three-time winner of the “Most Popular Bard of Mondstadt'” title at your service.”
“If you want to carol with us, you’re totally free to, Venti!” You smiled at the bard before letting out a sigh, and you set your drink on the counter. “But, even though it’s been fun, we’ve still got to tackle the issue of preparing the Christmas party. Klee’s been looking forward to it since day one of our festivities, but I’m not sure where to begin with it. We’d need a place big enough for all of the guests, and we’d need to decorate it. Then there’s the food too. It'll be a lot of work.”
“So you need a place for the party?” Kaeya took a hold of his own drink, bringing the cup up to his mouth. “I’m sure the Knights would let you use their headquarters for the party, no problem.”
“The Knights of Favonius Headquarters…?” You thought for a moment, before you shook your head. “No, that wouldn’t work. Plus, I’d feel like it’d be… distracting to the Knights not invited.”
Rosaria sipped her drink. “Perhaps the Church, then? I doubt the Sisters would refuse you.”
“Absolutely not.” You hardly hesitated as you answered, and shook your head again. “The idea of having a Christmas party in the Favonius Cathedral… doesn’t exactly feel all that right to me.”
“Agreed. The Church is a bit too serious a location for such an occasion.” Venti nodded, placing his empty cup on the counter; if you were keeping count correctly, he had just downed his fourth drink. “I’d say this tavern is home to a much more suitable atmosphere for a joyous celebration!”
“...well, while Angel’s Share would be able to serve as a good space for the party-” You let your gaze wander around the tavern, taking in the sight of the many customers already drunk at their tables. “-it’s not really the type of place for a Christmas party to be held. I mean, maybe it would work if it was an adult-only event, but this party is gonna have people of all ages in attendance.”
The sound of Diluc clearing his throat caught your attention, and you looked towards him.
“Your Grace… if you’d so like, you may use Dawn Winery’s manor for your party.”
You perked up as you listened to Diluc, your lips turning up into a bright smile.
“Oh, that’ll be perfect! I love you, Master Diluc!”
The sound of glass shattering rang out from behind the counter, the remains of a glass on the floor as alcohol seeped into the wood. Diluc stood by the mess, a cleaning rag held in one hand and emptiness in the other; the warm tavern lights made you uncertain of the flush on his face.
“A-Ah! I’m sorry, Master Diluc!”
You continued to apologize to Diluc as he bent down to clean up the broken glass, his face now hidden by his bangs as he kept his head tilted down. Kaeya was trying — and failing — to hold back a chuckle, and Rosaria just silently sipped on her drink, her gaze averted from everything.
Venti let out a whine, his hand tightly gripping your sleeve as he tugged it. “Oh, that’s just not fair, Your Grace. You can’t say something like that without blessing me with such words too…”
“I-I just got excited by what Diluc said!” You glanced at Venti briefly, your eyes widened, before you looked at Diluc again, your face warm. “It’s just… thanks for letting me use the manor…?”
“It’s fine, Your Grace.”
Diluc stood up after he finished cleaning, his head turned away from you as if to allow him to continue hiding his face; even so, it was still obvious to you that he must still be embarrassed.
“I appreciate your enthusiasm, but just be more careful next time.”
You let out a relieved sigh and nodded, smiling at him.
“Will do, Master Diluc!”
- - - - -
You couldn’t help but take in a deep breath as the pine tree was set up in the manor, your hands on your hips as your chest expanded. You took a moment before you finally released the breath.
“Ah, the sweet smell of nature…”
It was a few days before the Christmas party was scheduled to take place, and you were doing some early decorating — namely, the big stuff that couldn’t wait until just before the big event.
And that included the tree.
“So…” You looked over at Diluc, who stood beside you. “I’m assuming that there aren’t already ornaments available to decorate with, but we can make do. Oh! Maybe we could have everyone make ornaments at the party and then decorate the tree together? That’d be super festive! But, in the meantime, we could at least put some popcorn on it right now to start, so it isn’t just bare.”
You were met with nothing but silence as Diluc looked from the tree to you.
“People put… popcorn… on trees for Christmas?”
“Wow! It’s so tall!”
Klee ran up to the tree, her head tilted all the way back as she looked up at it.
“Of course! The bigger, the better!” You walked up to Klee and gently nudged the Spark Knight away from the tree. “We’ll have to keep any and all fire hazards away from it, though. Okay?”
“Okay! Klee will be super careful!”
You looked back at Diluc. “Thanks again for letting us have the party here. It’s really so perfect!”
“It’s no problem, Your Grace. Just let me know if you need anything else.”
You felt as if you were a kid again as you ran around with Klee and got things set up, sharing the experience of choosing what should go where and what looked best with the young girl in red. You even decorated some of the exterior of the manor, not just the interior, though, due to the size of the building, you and Klee could only really work with the entrance outside the door.
In lieu of strings of Christmas lights, lanterns and Crystalflies were used to light up the desired area. The lanterns hung up on the wall, blending into the natural look of the manor — when the daylight faded, they would definitely stand out more — and the Crystalflies were caught in the vineyard, just to be gently guided to rest on the poles near the front door, their wings fluttering.
“...we’ll probably need to guide these little guys back here just before the party.” You watched as the Crystalflies fluttered their wings again, unable to stay still for long where you placed them. “I don’t think they’ll just… stay here for the next few days. They’re itching to fly again, that’s clear.”
There was a Crystalfly resting on Klee’s cap, only flying away as she tilted her head up.
“Do you think we’ll be able to find them again?”
You nodded. “Of course we will! These Crystalflies like Dawn Winery as much as the people of Mondstadt do. You can always find them around here somewhere, fluttering about the grapes.”
The Crystalflies resting on the wooden poles flew off into the vineyard, one by one, as you and Klee continued decorating. You wrapped ribbons of different colors — red, green, and white — around the poles, and draped some down from the balcony above, trying to make it coherent.
“...this place definitely says, “there’s a party here”, at least.”
“It looks great! And it’s so pretty!” Klee bounced on the balls of her feet as she looked up at the ribbons, before she looked at you. “Is there anything else to do before the party, Your Grace?”
You thought for a moment.
“Well… I think we’ve done everything we can right now. The tree’s main decorations can wait until the party, and the popcorn will be prepared tomorrow, but, besides that, everything else is ready. The manor’s staff are helping to take care of the food — and being compensated for their time by Diluc, of course — and Noelle will take care of the desserts for the party later. We’ll help her with that when the time comes, but, for now, we’re done. Why, still want to decorate more?”
Klee put a finger to her chin, before she began walking around to inspect the work you and her had done. The Spark Knight took in the sight of all the decorations you had put up, everything in the interior and the exterior of the manor, and her eyes sparkled as her gaze scanned over all of it. The decorations were a bit generic to be honest, only the presence of the — currently bare — pine tree making it clear that Christmas was what was being celebrated, but it was a good effort.
You worked with what you had, and during the party, it was sure to come together fully.
“Klee thinks it’s perfect, Your Grace! …but, um… maybe we could hang up more ribbons?”
Yeah.
This would all come together nicely.
- - - - -
“I’m so sorry I’m late! I had some trouble getting here…”
Bennett had an embarrassed look on his face, his form slumped over as he stood in front of you. His hair was ruffled up, some sticks and leaves poking out, and his clothes were slightly burnt, which made the water dripping off of him to form a puddle under him more noteworthy.
You smiled slightly at him. “I can see that… but, don’t worry, you’re not late at all.”
“H-Huh?”
“Ah, the man cursed with misfortune has arrived before the Prinzessin?”
You and Bennett turned to look at Fischl as she approached, Oz and Mona accompanying her.
“Hmph, this is truly a most unexpected eventuality, though not one unwelcome.”
Mona looked at Bennett with interest, her gaze scanning everything from his singed clothing to the water at his feet. “I must admit, it’s very unusual. I’d say you had a rare stroke of luck, but…”
“...what?”
Bennett looked between them and you, before rubbing the back of his head with his hand.
“I’m so confused… my invitation said that the party started an hour ago.”
The adventurer dug through his pockets until he eventually pulled out his invitation; the paper was completely drenched, though the ink was just legible enough to still be able to be read.
“But our invitations say the party will start soon.” Mona pulled out her own invitation, and took Bennett’s to compare the times. “See? Your invitation shows it starting a whole hour early.”
Bennett took his invitation back. “That doesn’t make any sense, I…”
You gained a slight sense of pressure as everyone turned to look at you. “Oh… I put an earlier time on Bennett’s invitation to account for his bad luck. You know… so he’d get here on time.”
There was a slight pause, everyone staring at you as you stared back at them.
And then Bennett let out a groan.
“Ugh, that’s so embarrassing…!”
“But it’s also quite smart.” Mona smiled at the unlucky adventurer. “You’d likely be suffering out in the wilderness right now if Their Grace kept the correct time on your invitation, wouldn’t you?”
“...y-yeah, you’re probably right.”
“Hey, I’m just glad you’re here on time, Benny.” You smiled and gestured towards the manor’s entrance. “Why don’t you all head on inside? There’s some refreshments set out already, and it seems like everyone else will be arriving soon enough. I’ll be out here greeting them, of course.”
Fischl looked at Bennett, whose embarrassment was still cooling off. “Let us continue forward, accursed companion. It would be wise to preen thyself before the rest of the due guests arrive.”
“Right.”
The two members of the Adventurer’s Guild headed inside the manor with Oz following behind them closely, the familiar taking care when he flew past the ribbons that adorned the entrance.
“Um, Your Grace?” Mona caught your attention, a hesitant look in her eyes. “If there… happens to be any… leftovers at the end of the party, will the guests be permitted to take some home?”
“You can take as much as you can carry.”
“Oh, thank you ever so much, Your Grace!”
- - - - -
“A party held at Dawn Winery… with no alcohol? You’re so cruel, Your Grace.”
Venti had slight disbelief on his face, even with his lips turned up into a smile, while Diona had hers turned up into a smug grin, her hands on her hips in triumph as she stood next to the bard.
“Well, I think Their Grace is only showing how great They are by keeping that stuff away. Why do you boozehounds always need alcohol to have a good time, anyway? It’s funner without it!”
“Diona’s right. At least, when it comes to this occasion.”
The bartender let out a chuckle at your approval, her smug grin growing towards the bard.
“Besides, this’ll be the first Christmas you’ll experience. You should experience it sober.”
“...not even a drop, Your Grace?”
“You’re gonna have to go dry tonight, Venti.”
Diona walked into the manor with a proud gait, her tail and head held up to the sky, as Venti let out a whine, his shoulders dropping. He only lasted like that for a second before he perked up.
“Alright, Your Grace. I suppose going through a party without wine won’t be so bad…”
“Oh, is this a “no alcohol” kind of festivity?”
You turned to see Kaeya making his way up the path leading to the manor, a trio of his fellow knights — Albedo, Klee, and Sucrose — walking right behind him until they stopped near you.
“Yep. There’s non-alcoholic apple cider and grape juice instead.” Your gaze wandered down to the wrapped gifts in each of the Knights’ arms. “You can go and put the presents under the tree for later. The gift-giving will happen after everyone arrives and gets settled into the jolly vibes.”
Venti eyed the gifts. “Oh-ho? I wasn’t aware that there’d be presents at this party.”
“It’s for “Secret Santa”!” Klee held her gift up for Venti to see. “All the Knights are doing it!”
“And, don’t worry, all the non-Knights will also be getting gifts too-” You put a hand to your chest and smiled. “-courtesy of me. It wouldn’t be fair for some to get presents here and others to not.”
Sucrose adjusted the wrapped box in her arms. “W-Wow…”
Albedo hummed. “A gift from the Divine Creator would be quite an honor. I’m almost jealous…”
“Oh, there’s no reason to feel that way.” You shook your head slightly at him, the smile on your lips softening. “All the gifts you’ll find under the tree are labeled from “Santa”, not me, so nobody is really getting a gift from the “Divine Creator”, okay? Now get on inside and enjoy yourselves.”
- - - - -
There were a few more greetings you got through — Barbara and Rosaria who arrived together, and Razor who arrived alone — before the last guests arrived: the other invited members of the Knights of Favonius — sans Noelle, who arrived hours before the party began to help prepare.
“I hope you’re all feeling merry!” You greeted them at the entrance to the manor, a smile still on your lips. “Because with all of you here, the party can finally start! Oh, it’s gonna be so fun…!”
“Apologies for taking so long, Your Grace.” Jean shifted the presents she carried in her arms, putting a hand to her chest. “I had some last minute duties that I had to attend to before being able to leave for the evening, due to so many of the Knights having to attend this party tonight.”
“It’s fine, no biggie.” You waved Jean’s concerns off. “I’m just glad you’re all here at all!”
Amber held up the wrapped gift she was holding to bring attention to it. “And we brought our “Secret Santa” gifts with us. Is there someplace that we should put them for now, Your Grace?”
“Under the tree.”
“Under the…” Eula raised an eyebrow in question. “...tree?”
You nodded. “There’s a pine tree set up inside; it’s called a “Christmas tree”. You put gifts under it until it’s time to hand them out and open them. It’s a classic Christmas tradition, a real staple.”
“Oh my, how quaint.” Lisa didn’t have a gift in her hand, which explained why Jean was carrying two in her arms. “Everything you say about Christmas just makes it more and more interesting.”
“I’m glad!”
Jean, Lisa, Amber, and Eula went inside at your gesture, with Mika tailing them.
Mika looked at you with a bashful smile, his present held carefully in his arms, and he glanced between you and it before his gaze settled on it. “T-Thanks again, for helping me, Your Grace.”
“Of course.” You lightly patted Mika on the back. “Now, come on. Let’s join the others.”
- - - - -
‘Twas the night of the party And all through the manor, The atmosphere was hearty And it was quite banner.
…and that was enough rhyming for now.
Though it took everyone a quick moment to familiarize themselves with what a Christmas party was like, it didn’t take long for the party to really start. Klee’s enthusiasm was a driving force for everyone else’s, especially anyone who might still have been hesitant about the whole thing.
The tree was finally decorated aside from strings of popcorn, the ornaments the product of a group activity where you helped everyone make their own; the branches were filled to the brim with unique creations that would last to the next time that a tree would need to be decorated.
You could hardly compliment Noelle and the manor’s staff enough for all their work on the food, and neither could anyone else. You swore Noelle would faint from how red her face had gotten from the praise, the Knights’ maid continuing to be modest about all the effort she had put in.
The various gingerbread houses were fun to see; everyone had varying ideas on what it meant to build a gingerbread house — some went with a more “normal” appearance with their designs, while others took more creative liberties with their edible materials. Diona had even based her’s on her own house, with little gingerbread people of herself and her dad put on the frosting lawn.
And then caroling was an experience.
Barbara and Klee helped you teach everyone else the carols you had picked out. Venti picked them up quickly — which you expected — and Rosaria opted out of caroling altogether — which you also expected. Diluc also preferred not to sing, as did Mika and Sucrose, but everyone else laughed their way through the carols, the sound of their voices together being not too shabby.
The most anticipated event of the party, the gift exchange, happened when everyone was finally settled in, and the Knights went around to give each other their gifts. The anonymous part of the identities of the givers fell apart during that part, the receivers gaining surprise at learning about who had served as their Secret Santa alongside the gifts themselves, though the biggest of the surprises had to be Mika’s and Sucrose’s when they realized that they were each other’s Santa.
The remaining party guests got a gift handpicked by you.
You kept your mouth shut as they all tried to figure out who had actually gotten them the gift — Kaeya, Albedo, Klee, Sucrose, and Venti also keeping quiet about it for you — and just let them question each other. The joy among the confusion was what really made it feel special to you.
When the gift-giving came to a close, you surprised the younger Mondstadtians with stockings to hang over the fireplace. Klee, Diona, Razor, and Fischl each got to put up their own stocking, but you helped Bennett with his, as having it accidentally get caught on fire would be a downer.
You still had extras, though… just in case.
And when the sun began to set in the distance, the party soon came to a quiet end… kind of.
“We gotta leave milk and cookies out for Santa.” Klee guided the other younger characters to the table that had been set up near the fireplace, where they set down a plate of cookies and a glass of milk upon the wooden surface. “It’s sorta like sharing wine with the Anemo Archon.”
“And then our hosiery hung above the embers shall be filled with his largesse on the morrow?”
“Yep!” Klee nodded towards Fischl, a smile on her face. “That’s what Their Grace told Klee.”
“But it won’t happen unless you’re all asleep.” You looked between the five youngsters. “Santa doesn’t come when you’re awake. He only comes to leave presents in the middle of the night.”
Diona’s tail flicked behind her. “That sounds kind of fishy, but if that’s what you say, then okay.”
“So…” Razor thought for a moment. “...Razor and friends go to sleep now?”
“That should be easy.” Bennett rubbed the back of his head before he stretched his arms out above his head, a smile on his face. “It’s been pretty exciting all day, so I’m a bit tuckered out.”
“Diluc’s been kind enough to have prepared rooms for you guys tonight.” You gestured towards the staircase and towards the second floor of the manor. “So feel free to get settled in, okay?”
“Yay!” Klee clapped her hands together. “Let’s go to sleep so Santa will come!”
You watched as the younger characters headed upstairs, disappearing from your sight, before you turned your attention to the other guests. The adults were all getting ready to leave, either gathering up the presents that they had gotten or grabbing leftovers to take home with them.
“I’d say have a safe trip, but I’m sure your group is the safest it could possibly be.”
The characters not staying at the manor — meaning everyone but the youngsters who were staying the night, Diluc who lived here, and Noelle who was staying to help clean up — were going to be heading back to the city, the majority of the group being comprised of vessels that were members of the Knights of Favonius. You knew anybody would feel safe with all of them.
Jean looked at you, her eyes tired despite her smile. “Apologies for not staying for longer.”
“It’s okay. I know you guys can’t just all be away from the city for long at the same time.”
“But we should definitely do this again sometime!” Amber had a smile on her face, still full of energy despite how late it was. “It was so much fun, Your Grace! This holiday was a blast!”
“I agree.” Eula held both her and Amber’s gifts in her arms. “It was quite the get-together.”
You waved to the group as you watched them leave the manor and start their journey towards the city, the Knights forming the edges of the group. Barbara was within the protective circle of the group with Mona right by her side, the astrologist carrying much more than she arrived with in terms of food. The only one not in the group was Rosaria, who left a bit earlier on her own.
The group soon vanished into the dark of night, the manor now much quieter than before.
You let out a small sigh as Venti approached you, and briefly glanced at Noelle and Diluc as they — and the manor’s staff — got busy cleaning up the party before focusing on the bard.
“Well, Your Grace, I’d say this party of yours was a huge success!”
“I’m glad it was!” You gestured for Venti to follow you. “Now, mind helping me fill the stockings?”
“Oh?” Venti raised an eyebrow as he followed you over to the fireplace, an interested glimmer in his eyes. “I thought Santa was supposed to be the one to fill those once everyone was asleep?”
“Spoiler alert: Santa is more of an… idea, rather than a real person. Don’t tell the kids, though.”
“So, that’s how it is, huh…?”
Noelle handed you the bag of prepared goodies as she passed by, the action of it exchanging hands seeming like more of an instinct as she focused on gathering discarded wrapping paper.
The bag was like a smaller version of Santa’s bags in your eyes, and you sifted through it to begin sorting the items into each stocking, taking great care to divide everything in it equally.
“Of course. The magic of Christmas is all about children’s hopes and beliefs… oh!”
You grabbed a cookie from the plate near the fireplace and stuffed it into Venti’s mouth.
“Here, eat a few. It’s “proof” that Santa visited.”
Venti grabbed the cookie out of his mouth, coughing a bit before he chuckled. “Thank you for this honor, Your Grace. Though you could be a bit more gentle when feeding me, you know.”
“Less talking, more eating, Venti.”
It didn’t take you too long to fill the stockings with treats and items tailored to each youngster’s interests, and along with the Christmas tree, the stuffed stockings hung over the fireplace made the perfect little holiday scene, something that felt so foreign in this world yet so familiar to you.
So the party was done, with the kids into bed, And the Creator’s smile was on their face, spread. For a spoken last joy, with the bard to their right— “Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”

Sagau with a creator that has My personality (I need something to up my non existent ego, lol)
CW;Sagau, cult Au, blood, murder, Religious Themes.
Reader; Reader is gender neutral
——
Mondstadt
Tumblr media
The people of Mondstant think your nice. Your not overly energetic but your not overly inactive
They also find your presence calming (as everyone else does in sagau) you don’t demand much of anything from them, just some food and a place to stay.
If you live in Mondstadt, you’d have at least TWO knights protecting you at all cost, along side Diluc of course.
People love you, some even begin praying to you directly. And you need to adapt to it. As much as you tell them ‘You can stop, it’s not necessary’ they’ll just keep going. So you suck it up.
You hand around vision holders most, the NPC’s are very jealous. Why them? Is it their visions? Did they pray harder or offer more things to you?
Really, it’s because you know more about them then you do the others, and your introverted by nature so it’s pretty hard to socialize, not to mention your inability to pick up on normal social clues.
You always deny people walking with you or sticking beside you all day long, it’s draining enough to just talk you don’t need to make idle chat with.. well I guess your ‘Followers’
You handout with Diluc the most, he resembles your personality the most and understands your major dislike for peoples attention.
Your least favorite person is klee. Mostly because she’s SO fucking energetic, it drains you just being around children.
You brought your phone and Nintendo switch into the world of Teyvat. And since genshin is a game, in your phone, you have unlimited battery and access to download any games or dlc’s to your switch or phone.
If your able to clone your phone you’d give it to your most trusted people, in this case it would be Diluc, and Jean.
Your relationship with Venti is surprisingly normal. Venti is an archon, he’s devoted his life to you and knows what you like and hate, so he’d be more quiet around you but still fun.
Venti would probably try to convince you to drink alcohol, but you always deny.
Liyue
Tumblr media
Liyue is probably the most devoted to you.
Anything you want they’ll be damn sure to get it, Food? How much you want? A house? Shit you can take one if there’s. Clothing? You’ll get the best fucking clothes Teyvat has ever seen.
If your a woman, Ningguang is willing to lend you her expensive and comfortable clothing. A man, go to Zhongli, your most devoted follower to exists.
Zhongli most likely has everything you’ll ever want, he’s been alive for 6000 years. He knows every spec of you.
He’s your most ‘normal’ obsessed follower. He’s willing to kill anyone who seems to irritate you, he’s willing to lend you his clothes, anything you want, he’s your man.
Your bodyguard is Xiao, Yelan, and The entire liyue Qixing.
Your favorite person in liyue is Xiao, as in your words ‘Xiao knows how to shut up… he’s also just pretty to look at’
Xiao watches you from the distance while still killing demons. Yelan stays beside you and probably ‘Flirts Respectfully’
Yelan herself would like to train you to fight, if you don’t know how to. Others believe you shouldn’t stain your hand with the filth of those who dare attack you.
Ningguang has a special room made for you on the jade chamber, before she destroyed it. But she’d most definitely make another jade chamber specifically as your home in liyue.
In short, if you want a easy free life with low expectations, go live in liyue.
Inazuma
Tumblr media
Inazuma treats everything you do as royalty.
If you walk, everyone will move out the way for you, if you breath, people stop breathing in fear of taking your precious air, if you sit down in a restaurant others might move away from you, fearful of angering you or some might try to talk to you.
Ei herself becomes your bodyguard, while the shogun is busy with political and military affairs, she’s beside you, making sure no one even breaths the wrong way in your presence.
And your fine with it. Ei is an introvert herself and doesn’t ask stupid questions. That and she’s pretty to look at.
You have a room in the Tenshukaku, the only ones who can enter it are you (obviously) and Ei
Ei makes sure you have the most comfortable furniture in inazuma, along with the best view of the city. She’s not only your bodyguard, but your maid.
You want a massage? She suddenly knows how to give them. You want food? She bought a mountain of ingredients and the best chief in inazuma (It’s Thoma) someone’s bothering you? She kills them.
If you believe Zhongli was obsessive you’ve seen nothing yet. Ei acts like a overprotective Yandere, she never wants you to leave inazuma, but why would you leave? What do the other nations have that inazuma doesnt?
You have a archon practically kissing your feet. You have everyone’s respect, your have the best view of the city. Why would you want to leave? Has someone annoyed you that much? Who? she’ll end them!
She’d try to convince (manipulate) you to stay. She’s terrified of losing you, she lost her friends and sister she couldn’t even bare the thought of losing her beloved Creator.
Her obsession is driven by fear of loss and just pure devotion. She’d do anything, literally anything to keep you in inazuma.
Ultimately when you leave, she extremely sad and disappointed within herself. What did she do to make you leave? She’s completely fearful that you’ll perish despite knowing that no one would dare attack you. Give her a break, she has trauma.
Once you return to inazuma she wants to hug you from pure relief, just throw herself onto you, but she just sighs and says ‘I’m glad you came back your grace’
If your able to see her, touched starved attitude you’d hug her and allow her to hug back. She’s been really nice and good to you, it’s only fair right?
Sumeru
Tumblr media
Sumeru is the most normal.
They don’t overprotect you, just above average protection.
You don’t really have a bodyguard here. You just have admirers and follower’s. Except Cyno, he’s your bodyguard.
Nahida is your tour guide, wherever you wanna go she’ll point you at the right direction.
You’ll possibly be milked for information about where you were before you descended to them, they’d be very interesting by the idea of ‘Television, and Video Games’
Besides that, Sumeru is quite literally normal, their driven by their logic not feelings.

So you’ve woken up in Teyvat. Specifically Mondstadt. Just outside the gates actually. Now lots of people in this situation would question why they are here, explore the area, etc. But you only had one goal in mind. So you would not let anything get in your way. And not let this opportunity go to waste.
You strode passed Timmie, him giving you an annoyed look as the pigeons flew off. The guards at the gate Swan and Lawrence would usually greet visitors but they saw the look on your face. They didn’t say a word, just let you past with a side eye, then they both look at each other thinking the same thing. You looked familiar.
Ignoring the busy streets, stomping past Katheryne, Marjorie, Cats tail and to the fountain. People looked at you, all of them avoiding your gaze as your expression was terrifying. But they all thought the same thing. You looked familiar.
You turn to the left, past good hunters and up the first set of stairs. The knight Raymond looks at you but again leaves you be. You go past Glory, she can’t see but she can feel an ominous energy go past her. She can’t help but feel that’s it’s familiar. You go up the next set of stairs and then take a right, coming up to the Goth hotel.
The fatui stationed there see you stomp past. Something about you seems more scary than La Signora. Sansa stops her performance and Herman finally stops complaining about Wangers sword prices. Both of them watch you go past and go up the stairs. And once again all of them think that you look familiar.
You go up all of the stairs, past the statue and go up to the cathedral. You stop.
Where is he?
You go to the right and below and behold there is the bastard. Albert.
“Oh? Are you interested in joining the Barbara-sama club?”
Just him saying her name like that. Makes your blood boil.
“No. I am here to teach a creep a lesson.”
He looks shocked by this.
“Creep?! I am no creep! I just want to look out for her here without disturbing her work. It’s the closest I can get.”
You hate him. You hate him so much!
“I have about 2 minutes before the guard Otto will know what I am doing. That’s plenty of time to give you a few broke bones!”
“Wha-!”
Before he could finish his sentence.
You punch him in the face.
Pushing him against the wall so he had no where to go. You punched him in the face, the gut, any place you can get. But before he fell to the ground, you kicked as hard as you could in the balls.
He fell to the ground and held his crotch in pain. But the 2 minutes were up and Otto had heard Alberts groans of pain.
This was worth it.
———
Should I do one for Nimrod? I don’t like Albert or Nimrod.

An Idealized Image
Prompt: You die after getting hit by a truck and inspect your suddenly ideal appearance in the new world. Inspired by this post by @mists-reading-nook
A/N: Man, starting a story with disconnected parts is fun and difficult. First time using this literary device so be patient with me.
Words: 755
Tumblr media
You hadn’t expected getting hit by a truck to hurt so damn much. But you’d gladly do it again if it meant you’d protect a child from getting run over.
Although you were dying, you still could feel the barest sensations around you; vaguely there was muffled shouting and crying. Good, the kid was safe and the driver was getting yelled at. Not that that mattered to you anymore.
Oh well, at least it’s over now.
The first world has been chosen. Initiating upload link.
You thought you heard someone, but that’s crazy. You were dead. The dead don’t hear voices. Maybe this was one of those post-death auditory hallucinations. Do…do the dead even have those? Actually, I guess nobody would know…except the dying. Ugh. What a morbid thought. I expected myself to have prettier final thoughts.
Link established. Uploading soul to the Samsara system now. Beginning samsara cycle #1…godspeed.
There it was again. You started thinking that maybe you weren’t dead, when suddenly you felt your soul being pulled down…down…down into the darkness. Rather than become panicked you felt a sense of peace. You allowed yourself to be carried until you felt a shift in the pressure around you.
Before you could realize what was happening, you blacked out.
////
He’s not waking up…should I do it manually?
Hang on, what are those kitsunes doing?
You feel something tap-tap-tapping against your side. Your eyes flutter open, barely registering the fact that there’s green all around you. Turning your head, you see several orange foxes nudging your body. The sleep leaves you immediately. You surge to your feet and back away from them
They didn’t make any moves toward you. The littlest one stared at you with its big eyes; after a moment it seemed to be satisfied. It turned to the others and made a sound. It wasn’t long before they ran away, leaving you by yourself. Come to think of it, where were you?
Everywhere around, you can see plants, trees, and just general things you’d find in a forest-wait, forest!?
Oh no, where the hell did I end up? Is this some kind of spiritual afterlife? You run, not really going anywhere, just someplace to get your bearings. You find a small stream. Thinking quickly, you examine your reflection, fearful that you looked like a ghost. However, what greets you instead is your pristine face without any blemishes.
Huh? Is that…me? No, no it can’t be. I’m not that…I’m not this immaculate! This is a dream, this has to be a dream! You do anything you can to wake up; you smack, slap, and pinch yourself all in that order, but it’s no use. It seems you weren’t dreaming.
Defeated, you decide to examine yourself. Amazingly, your skin was smooth, but you don’t recall it being like that. Furthermore, your eyes were completely different. Since when were your pupils a yellow pinprick, or your irises a brilliant shade of silver? Most concerning of all was your hair. It was white as snow. You pull at it, looking closely at the roots to check if it wasn’t dyed. You looked rather beautiful. Additionally, you finally noticed that your clothes were different.
When you died, you were wearing a hoodie and regular pants and shoes. Now, you were wearing a simple white kimono; a closer inspection revealed that it looked like genuine silk. Confused yet satisfied with your examination, you looked at your surroundings. Everything was slightly dark as if it were nighttime.
Weird, but ultimately it doesn’t matter. What DOES matter is figuring out where the heck I am. You push yourself off the ground, shaking the dirt off of your clothes. You look around you, wondering which direction to walk towards when something catches your eye. Squinting, you could make out the silhouette of a city in the distance. It almost looked like Japan, but at the same time, it wasn’t. Well, there’s the path to civilization right there. Now all I need to do is get over there without trouble.
You notice a well-worn path. You take it, pleased that you took the first step in your journey. Hopefully, you’d find what you needed to know.
////
Elsewhere, a solitary figure was meditating alone in a different plane of existence. Here in this space, she would achieve eternity and resist erosion.
And then she felt it. A sudden wave of divine energy sent tingles throughout her incorporeal body. This was unprecedented…what could have caused it? She needed to know. She had to know.

sworn on the stars ~ prologue - genshin impact // sagau // imposter au
01 02
summary: to know the one protected by the stars is to know the blessings of the very world we traverse on. to betray them is to turn our backs on the very notion peace.
ie. they say that with every terrible storm comes a rainbow infinitely more beautiful than the trials that one leaves behind. let’s test that theory, shall we?
————————————
You were tired of it all.
Perhaps you had used up all of your fortune in another life, or the universe simply held some sort of grudge against your soul. Either way, you found yourself sick and tired of everything that had happened in the last few years.
First came the death of your beloved parents. The ones who had tried to raise you with so much love until they were cruelly taken away by the hands of death. They’d left you with enough fortune to sustain yourself for the rest of your days.
Then came the new ones. The ones who had turned your life into a real Cinderella story, though this peasant would never meet their prince. The ones who had subjected you to so much abuse that you had nearly become numb to it all.
You’d moved from household to household throughout most of your life. The ones who were kind to you always met misfortune, and the ones who were cruel always seemed to have gotten caught far too late.
Five years ago, you became so dreadfully ill that no other family was willing to take you in, not even if you had offered them money to do so. It felt as though the world was rejecting your very being, like it had finally had enough of you being around. Your body gradually shut down, despite your youth. The doctors could not diagnose you, for there was nothing that seemed to be wrong.
Except everything was wrong. You could feel your life fading, though you were never one to care much about the prospect of death. You’d just assumed it would’ve come later.
In the worst moments of your life, you’d come across a game called Genshin Impact. You’d come across it just before it’s official release: the new and hyped up game from Mihoyo that would soon have its’ players entranced.
Perhaps you were desperate for another outlet. You were a smart child, yet there never seemed to be enough media in this world to properly stimulate your mind. Storybooks had stopped bringing new adventure into your life. In the world of academics, you had studied nearly everything that you could possibly get your hands on up until the end of secondary school.
You wanted to immerse yourself in a world where you could be free to walk and run and perhaps find something of interest. To finally reacquire that spark in you that had been lost so long ago.
‘An open-world game, huh? Might as well give it a shot.’
And so you did. And you’d fallen in love for the first time in your life. With the characters and the story, for they always did bring excitement into your dreary days. But most of all, it was with the world you had explored. There was always something new to catch your interest when you were in Teyvat, and you’d gradually grown fond of the characters behind the screen. They were life your family.
Sometimes, the people of your world would forget about your existence. You’d started as an anomaly of the medical world, but as the years passed you became nothing more than a forgotten presence that once had meaning; a myth.
As the game updated each time, you were always eager to indulge for the characters with the money you knew you’d never be able to use otherwise. When you wear Teyvat, all felt right with the world, as if a dirty fog had been cleared from your mind.
Those days, when you were left alone in your very own hospital room, you’d pull up the character’s voice lines and speak back to them, or absentmindedly run throughout the regions.
Sometimes you imagined being able to comfort Zhongli and Xiao, old souls that had gone through so much throughout their long lives. You dreamed about exploring the vast seas with Beidou and her crew. Wishing about visiting the city of freedom and feeling the wind on your face as Amber instructs you on how to use a glider. Wanting to visit the beautiful city of Inazuma and bring relief to all those that had needed it.
But those were merely the dreams- perhaps even delusions- of a person nearing the end of their life. The years had passed, and many regions had become unlocked since you had begun. But now, you could barely stand to open your eyes, let alone admire the beautiful scenery in Teyvat.
‘Soon I’ll be gone from this sorry room, I guess. I just wish I could be in that world one last time.’
You silently thanked the stars for the last few years, dreadful as they were.
And so the young soul was taken too soon. Their body was taken by death, but their soul? Their soul was taken by another world entirely.
But perhaps this world isn’t so new as one might think. Maybe, just maybe, the world would help you solve the mysteries of your life, just as you had helped build it up from the very beginning.

More questions for teen reader au! (If thats ok)
1. Does reader have any special powers/abilities?
2. Will reader ever say how they got to teyvat(being isekai'd)?
3. How would reader rule over teyvat?
Love this au
You are more than welcomed to send me asks about any au, I enjoy writing about it!
Previous parts ──‌➤‌‌ 1, 2,
Tumblr media
1- Explaining is a bit difficult but well, yes and no. Reader doesn't have vision like powers or they can't just levitate.
But that doesn't mean they are powerless, you see anything they talk to responds back to them, for example, they look at a mirror and the reflection waves at her, or she talks to a pen and the pen starts writing on something to respond back, what in the Disney shit
And no one is really safe from their powers, they whisper to themselves about how they wished today weather was stormy and boom, the sky will start to rumble at their will.
Same goes with this, zhongli and other are walking with reader in the palace (more like them following reader everywhere since this is the more realistic way au)
Reader decides that they are tired of this shit and runs to another corner of the manor with the acolytes chasing them, they do find reader but before they can get anywhere close, walls appear infront of you and separate the acolytes and reader. Teyvat only listen to the creator, you.
2- Tbh they can say whatever they want and their words hold the price of gold, diamonds, their words are precious. However, on this matter even if they do say how they got here or what a device is, no one really understands, they don't have the brain cells to understand what the absolute hell is a phone (unless you are talking to albedo or Dottore) Still they think you are a god in that world as well, a world full of gods. So it would be counted as something holy to explain to them how you descended. (You can bet your ass they will teach kids at school about this)
3-readers place in like.. a massive building, 100 times bigger than a normal castle you see in a Chinese drama.
It's like absolutely massive, even living in it for 3 months you still haven't explored some parts of it
Important business will be moved near your palace since that city is now the capital of teyvat.
Ayato, Pantalone, ningguang, etc.. they would move in. Yes move in. They managed to use Suger coated words and guilt trip you into letting them move in the palace so they would be close to you, and plus their business would boost like 0 to 100
But you don't stay in your palace all the time, you have other places to stay at for 1 month, inazuma, liyue, fontain, mondstad, Snezhnaya, etc..
And your clothing changes to the style of the country, exp: inazuma: kimonos with lavish hairpins, liyue: (I forgot what the name is but I added a picture)
As I like to add, the clothes you wear is genuinely not even fun anymore
I did some research and the weight of the crown you should wear is around..8-20 kg.
DO YOU KNOW HOW HEAVY THAT IS?? And the long dresses you can trip on 💀
Example if you are over 14:
Keep in mind that you change clothes when you visit other countries
Liyue: china,‌ ‌Inazuma: japan ,‌ Mondstadt: Germany,‌ ‌Snezhnaya:Russia
Tumblr media
Take liyue clothing as an example for this
3- alot of people would not expect this but, you are not really free like those sagau fics you read. If we are talking realistic, you aren't allowed to even step a foot outside without an army of people trailing behind you
Keeping that in mind, your word is law, what you desire is law, you want students to have 6 months of break instead of 3? Say less.
So yes politic spins around you. It's a different case if reader is young. In that case the archons would take control with your premission until you are 13.
And if you are over 15, you should review the rules of each country and correct and add stuff if you like.

SAGAU!Vampire reader x various
uhhhh.. y-yeah... while i was sick i had two fic ideas, this being one of them. I could barely write them bc i had a massive headache. So fuck you inspiration, coming at the worst time >:(
Warnings: Completely SFW, slightly comical, all of the characters mentioned act like simps
You had given them everything, weapons and artifacts they could only dream of. Shown them things they never would've gotten the chance to otherwise. Taken their monotonous lives and turned them on their heads, traveling every corner of the world with them and holding their hand along the way so loving and tight.
You were so real in their world of fake skies, staring fondly at them from beyond the stars and abyss.
So, naturally, the moment your gaze became concrete and close, they'd treat it as a divine gift. They'd treat you like a divine gift.
You were a nervous wreck entering this world, much unlike the statues they'd carved in your image, all of which were poised and graceful. Then again, nothing about the statues they'd made reflected how you actually appeared nor acted.
The mostly glaringly obvious issue was... well...
"Please suck my blood, your grace!" Venti was already all over you, his arms wrapped around yours and his head tilted to the side to fully expose his neck, "You can take as much as you want."
With a completely serious expression, Ei grasped the bard's shoulder with unrelenting strength, "Your grace," She didn't even spare him a glance, her striking purple gaze completely settled onto you, "Ignore him. Please, take my blood instead. I won't feel a thing due to my new body."
Zhongli was very obviously gritting his teeth at the other two archons, he grabbed both of them by the collar of their shirts and tugged them away from you, "Both of you need to calm down. This is very unflattering behavior to be displaying in front of their grace."
The glares the two gave him looked as though they were ready to start another archon war.
"It's-it's fine... I just..." You fumbled with your words, admittedly flustered at how willingly they were to give up their blood to you. "Do-" You coughed into your hand to get rid of some of your embarrassment, "Do you... even have blood, Ei?"
She blinked and a soft dust of blush appeared on her face, "Ah... Well, I suppose there's only one way to find out." She nodded self-assuringly.
"A-ah," You chuckled, your face red, "Do- do any of you understand how... uhm... intimate drinking directly from someone's neck is..?"
They all blinked at you owlishly, even their attendants (representatives from each nation, all of which you recognized as characters you knew) stared at you.
A startled laugh escaped your throat, "Oh you-you don't..." Your eyes flickered between the archons and their attendants, all of which were looking at you expectantly. It was odd that you felt like the prey in this situation, "Well, uhm... sucking blood directly from someone - especially their neck - is often seen as a... romantic gesture..."
"So..." Lady Ningguang put her clawed hand up to her mouth in thought, her red eyes peering at you, "Whoever you decide to be your blood bag, is essentially your consort?"
At that Venti's eyes lit up and Zhongli had to physically restrain him from jumping to hug you again. Ei, on the other hand, slightly deflated. If you were right about her not having any blood would she become the least favored? It's a thought that shook her to her core after all these years of being loved by you, your gentle hands taking care of her, would you finally drop her?
"I-I," You stuttered, all the attention on you activating your innate fight or flight. Usually, in these types of situations, you were being hunted. This... was definitely not something you'd ever predicted to happen, "I wouldn't go there yet." You nervously chuckled, "Usually I just drink animal blood and such and even then I drain it out into a container before drinking it. It's been... hm, it's been years since I've had human blood. Maybe since I was a child just cause I was growing a bunch during that time."
You glanced around and noticed their sympathetic gazes, Jean had opened her mouth and you knew what she was about to offer so you beat her to it, waving your hands dismissively, "All that is to say, I don't need human blood. Much less drinking straight from the source."
"But..." Venti pouted, "You deserve some luxuries don't you, your grace?"
You huffed, "Luxuries, Venti, that's what human blood is. Not a regular meal." A dark look overcast your eyes, "I don't want to hurt any of you."
Their hearts clenched as the corners of your mouth tugged down.
"Apologies then, your grace," Jean bowed her head to you, "Just know that if you ever require anything be human blood, animal blood, or anything at all, we'll get it for you." Her smile was warm and comforting, like a vanilla coffee.
A dark part of you salivated at the thought of her blood, whispering in your ear that if you thought she was like vanilla coffee then why don't you take the opportunity presented to you and prove it.
You pushed the thought aside, forcing a smile on your lips, "Thank you, Jean. I appreciate it." Your fangs flashed through your smile, a natural predatory gleam in your eyes as the thoughts of them so willingly offering themselves to you never left the recesses of your mind.
Your fangs unconsciously elongated. It was obvious that you were hungry from the look in your eyes and now protruding fangs.
"Would you like to eat something?" Zhongli offered with a small smile - though there was a glint in his eyes showing what he'd like to really offer - "Anything you want, we'll get it for you."
You smiled, "Just animal blood is fine-"
As soon as those words left your lips an arrow whizzed in the air and landed on an unsuspecting nearby animal. Venti held a proud grin on his face, prancing over to the animal, his bow disappearing just as fast as it had appeared.
You blinked owlishly as he presented to you, "Here you go, your grace!" He grinned widely, "Completely fresh!" A giggle escaped his throat and - considering the circumstances - it felt a little intimidating.
"Ah- I-" You gingerly took the animal from his hands, "Thank you."
Perhaps it was from the fact you had just been torn away from everything and everyone you'd ever known and called home. Or the fact that you were under quite some stress and you weren't sure when the last time you ate was.
Either way you quite embarrassingly sunk your teeth deep into the small animal. Greedily sucking all of the blood out of it. Under normal circumstances you'd be a lot neater about it, more careful and definitely not eating like this with an audience. But you were under high stress and running low on food so you, quite animalistically, sucked the animal dry.
Once you had gotten your fill, your brain was a lot calmer and clearer. You pulled away, licking any excess from your lips, "Ah, sorry about that. I'm not usually this messy."
You diverted your eyes away from them as you cleaned the blood from off your face and hands. Though, they didn't have the same decency to look away as you did. In fact they were all staring quite unabashedly at you licking away the blood. Jean and Venti were even blushing quite obviously at the scene.
Zhongli sent a dirty glare at the two - Venti mostly - to tell them to calm down and not make you uncomfortable. Jean cleared her throat and forced her blush down, but Venti merely rolled his eyes at Zhongli and continued to enjoy the scene in front of him.
"You're so unprofessional, Venti." Zhongli frowned down at the archon, "Your grace, if you wish, we could provide you a feast back in Liyue."
"Or Mondstadt!" Venti cut in.
"Or Inazuma." Ei frowned at the other two, a dark look in her eyes.
There was tension between those from the three nations as they all glared at you, "So?" Zhongli tore his eyes away from the other two archons, "Which will you choose?"

NPC Life is the best
(Genshin Impact x gn reader - sagau)
(second person pov)
part 3 —> part 4 —> part5
——————————————————
the sky began to darken as you made your way through the streets of mondstat. Not as bustling as it was before when you arrived but still festering with many visitors and citizens as they began to enjoy mondstat’s night life.
it had taken you only ten minutes to get to angles share, just the perfect time for a drink to go with your meal! Of course your original purpose was to find an inn but might as well enjoy yourself while your at it no?
food in hand and mood at ease, you gently push the door to the tavern open.
The warm lighting dawned softly on your face as you stepped inside, you also noted the strong smell of alcohol that now surrounded you. It was no surprise that the tavern was quite popular with a few regulars as well. there was that bard over there, couldn’t remember his name but you figured that wouldn’t be a problem. A few knights off duty enjoying a few beers. Some old men and adventurers.
well that seems pretty normal, just more people than displayed in the game of course.
and where was your favorite bartender Charles-
oh
it’s diluc
noticing your gaze, diluc, who was behind the counter, promptly coughed behind his hand and offerd you a curt nod.
“Welcome to Angels Share, my name is Diluc. I’m curently subbing in for Charles since he is out on break. If you wish to speak with him, I’m afraid you’ll have to come tommorow.” He nods and Looks at you with blunt eyes “is there anything I could help you with today?”
“Oh, I was just hoping to get a drink and maybe stay in for the night?” You smile sheepishly at him.
with how he’s speaking, he seems no diffrent from the in game diluc besides the fact that he was more closed off. But that could be expected since, well, you weren’t the traveler anymore.
“Of course, I could set that up for you later.” He gives you a curt and proper response. You wouldn’t expect any less from him in all honesty.
Pulling out a barstool, you sat down as diluc pulled out a menu.
“These are our most popular drinks, these are our seasonal, and these drinks are our specials. Feel free to tell me what you’d like.” he hands you the drink menu and you began to browse.
of course, you knew what you wanted. Grape juice! But his gaze just made it all the more difficult to talk to him. You must look like an absolute mess right now..
pretending to browse for a little longer you finnaly decided to look up from the menu. what met your gaze were deep crimson eyes, more on par with the colors of a flame than a glass of wine.
embarrassed, you pulled your gaze away from him and continued to fake browse. The red head must’ve been spacing out right?
while your thoughts were scrambling in your head like bumbling bees, diluc was quite conflicted.
He felt as though he knew you. Not on a surface level but a level of familiarity that he couldn’t even find the words for. It was as though you were as comforting as the pillow that cradled his head when he went to bed. It was strange. Not realizing he was staring intently, he continued to take in your features, almost as if he was trying to carve the image of you deep within his memory. How peculiar you were. snapping out of his trance diluc finally noticed your calls.
“I was wondering, do you perhaps have grape juice?” You say as you look up at him from the menu.
“Oh uh, of course” he coughs into his hand to hide his embarrassment. “Would you like it chilled or with ice?”
“Chilled would be fine” you smile politely as he begins to set up your drink.
“Usually customers don’t ask for grape juice.. well, most of them are drunkards anyways.” Diluc remarks as he pulls out a cold glass to pour the grape juice in.
chuckling softly at his somewhat insulting remark you thank him curtly for the drink and pull out the needed mora to pay for it. “Oh there’s no need” he pushes your hand away softly. You could almost feel the warmth of his hand through his glove..
“A-are you sure?” You look at him with sincerity. Now, if you were in his position you would’ve kissed up to whoever came in order to get good tips.. and now he’s refusing your money? How ridiculous! But.. then again he is realy.. realy rich. While your lonesome self was more middle class back in your world and with a bit of greed injected into your veins since your parents raised you with the mindset of ‘life is not worth living if you live on the streets’. How blunt they were..
Diluc noticed your strange expression and softly chuckled before saying “it’s on the house. It’s not often I get customers like you. Most of those who come here are mindless drunks willing to splurge their mora on a drink or two. It’s.. a nice change”
You thank him for his generosity and can’t help but smile at his words while you sip on your cool sweet grape juice.
“What’s your name by the way?” He inquires, wanting to get a better grasp as to who you are and why he was so.. drawn to you.
“My name is Y/n, just an average wanderer going about teyvat.” You simply state while fiddling with the napkin that came with your drink.
“Y/n..” he whispers as if thought your name was as sacred as the beloved Creator. How blasphemous, he shouldn’t put you at such high regard. If the nuns found out he’d surly be reprimanded. But he couldn’t help it. You were so.. alluring in a way. He couldn’t figure out why. When he let your words settle in his mind he couldn’t help but feel as though you were lying. He was sure you were much much more than just a ‘average wanderer’
The tavern was starting to become busy as the night flew by and you had finished up your sweet madam and grape juice by then. The warm atmosphere and chatter made you feel at ease. You weren’t used to letting yourself loose like this back in your world. But now that the stress of investment and accounting was off your back it almost felt that things were just too good to be true..
the hours passed and it was about 8 pm by now. You and diluc had chatted a bit more in between him serving customers and such. Both of you had little in common besides the love for grape juice but some how the conversations with him weren’t awkward at all. Almost as if you were talking to a friend.
“Hey um.. I know you were asking to stay a night here at the tavern but would you perhaps prefer to stay at dawn winery? You can decline of course. It is a bit far from the city but we could make it there by 9:30.” He rambles as he try’s to compose himself. It was kind of cute in all honesty.
“Huh? You.. you’d let me stay there?” Looking up at him with new found gratitude you couldn’t help but wonder if the rooms in the manor were as comfortable as the ones described in fanfics..
“Oh, of course. I’m sure it’s much more comfortable inside my manor than it is here in the tavern. The noise will be less irritating since the manor is surrounded by dawn winery’s vineyards. The bed here must be stiff as well.. barely anyone decides to stay the night here unless they’re extremely drunk.” Dliuc says as he subtly tries to convince you.
“Do I have to pay you or-“
“There’s no need. Your company is more than enough” he mumbles, the last part spoken so softly that you could’ve mistaken it for the flutters of a crystal fly.
Blushing slightly from the comment you cough into your hand to get rid of the sudden tension. “W-well then I’d be happy to stay at dawn winery.”
“Of course, it’s in my best interest that your stay in mondstat is a comfortable one.” He nods and smiles with sincerity.
the tavern closes earlier than usual today since it’s Monday, according to the old lady you passed by on your way here, so it was plausible as to why diluc was now ushering the lingering drunkards out of the tavern. It was quite the sight with dliuc groaning and sighing as some of the more stubborn ones had to be dragged out by a couple of their friends. How silly.
chuckling slightly at the sight you threw away the packaging for your sweet madam and sat patiently on the barstool as dliuc began to clean up the tavern. It was oddly domestic in a way.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Wiping away the slight grease from the counter, diluc threw away the wet towel and washed his hands in a sink behind the counter.
“Sorry for the wait, we can start heading out now”
you told him it was no big deal and began to stretch as you made your way outside the tavern. Diluc followed in suite and locked the tavern door for the night. “Well, let’s head over shall we?”
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . a comfortable silence washed over you two as you both began your journey to dawn winery. The walk was quite peaceful with the sound of bugs and soft wind accompanying you and diluc on your somewhat long walk.
passing the statue of statue of seven and walking under the high scaling cliff you spotted your destination.
the lamps there were dimly lit but the soft glow of light made it feel just as warm as the tavern itself despite the cold night that now blanketed itself over mondstat and it’s neighboring nations. Diluc made his way up the dirt path and past the vast vineyard as you followed him, taking in the sights of a game you had adored. knocking softly on the door diluc and you waited only a second before Adeline opened the door.
“Ah, you’re here Master Diluc” Adeline gave a welcoming smile and gave you the same treatment. She opened the door for both of you as diluc set his coat on a hook nearby.
he then turned to you with a soft smile, “you’ll be resting in the guest bedroom. It’s one room away from mine and it has a bathroom with all the necessities you can find or need” he nods again with a bit of pride, “please, let me or Adeline know if you ever need anything.”
“Of course, thank you, for everything Diluc” you looked at him, eyes filled with utter sincerity as he gave you a warm look
“If you can’t find yourself to sleep yet, I’m always here to talk. You wouldn’t be a bother at all” his voice was warm much warmer than it was when you first met him. It seems like he’s grown a bit fond of you..
smiling at him once again you make your way up the stairs to the guest room and push open the door. It was as homey and lavish as you had expected. Red sheets were neatly placed on the bed and fluffy pillows sat propped up against the head of the bed. The carpet had a nice design and there was a desk near the door you presumed was the bathroom.
you knew you were getting a bit too close to diluc but at this point you weren’t sure if it really mattered anymore since you’ve ran into other characters despite your attempts of blending in. Well even if he did find out he surly wouldn’t tell the knights, he thinks they’re incompetent. Well that’s if he ever finds out.
Flopping over onto the bed you were thrilled to finally take a much needed bath..
Maybe soaking in the expensive products diluc has given you wouldn’t be such a bad idea~

The airport ☆
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
At the airport with Ayato, Childe, Diluc, Venti, Xiao, and Zhongli (in order) Genre: fluff. crack? - gn!reader - modern au
Tumblr media
AYATO-- ★
Ayato probably bought part of the airport tbh. Anyways moving on, lines at the airport would just disappear, he would have first class and top of the line additions onto your trips. You would just walk into the airport and everything would just be open for you. Even then you can’t control the customers who would complain to customer service about this but Ayato would handle it. He would literally give them a refund and kick  them out of the airport on the spot. Security would be very easy, so with that out of the way now you.ve arrived at the gate. I think he would let you shop around and buy snacks for the trip. finally the plane has arrived and now it’s just the wait. The plane trip would be quite nice counting the top of the line seats and service. If you happen to fall asleep I think Ayato would you rest on his should while he reads a book. He’s probably the type of guy to read books about marriage “for educational reasons.” It’s his version of school to figure out how to propose to you. 10/10 trip would do it again as many times as I could.
CHILDE-- ★
oh boy.  💀  Childe would get you guys kicked out of the airport. no doubt about it. The moment you step into the airport there’s a problem. I have a small headcannon the Fatui and the harbingers are a well known mafia in the modern au so I’m going to apply that here as well. Anyways, everybody’s going to be staring at you guys, maybe not at you directly mostly at childe. Then when you finally are about to check your bags they ask the standard questions with a questionable amount of hesitation. “.. A-any weapons, cigarettes, alcohol, or illegal products in any of the bags?” And this man has the audacity to say a simple “no” with a smirk on his face. THERE IS A LITERAL SWITCH BLADE AND A PISTOL IN THERE. Don’t worry he says it’s for “educational and safety purposes” calm down everybody. Security is even worse though, the alarm goes off on his bag so your heading over there after putting your shoes on and you just see multiple police walking towards Childe. At this point you just grab your bag(s) and watch from a distance. Sadly as usual he see’s this as a challenge and fights his way out of it. At least he has the money (hopefully not stolen money) to get you a private jet to your destination. But it’s not going to be comfortable having to talk childe out of having a healthy, safe, and legal airport trips from now on. but I doubt it will work, sorry reader.
DILUC-- ★
Going on a trip with Diluc is quite peaceful actually. He’s already has everything prepared and he has payed transportation to get you guys there already. I think he would probably handle most of the bags for you, and checking in would be quite nice as well. Security is the only issue as the lines are quite long sadly. But either way you take advantage of the time talking and bonding with each other. Thankfully no red flags are raised going through security unlike other (Cough Childe Cough). Diluc probably already has small snacks and treats for you to eat at the airport while you’re waiting. for some reason he wouldn’t want to buy anything from the food court because he believes it’s “unsanitary.” Once you get on the plane I think you and Diluc would take for a little bit until he rest his head on your shoulder and tries to fall asleep. Diluc hates turbulence, so he always tries to sleep though plane flights so he doesn’t have to deal with it. If he wakes up before it’s time to land he might talk to you or try to do paper work for the tavern on a plane. Come on Diluc you should be relaxing please.
VENTI-- ★
Venti hates airports. Not because of the long lines to check in your bag and get through security. Or waiting long dreadful hours in the airport because your flight was delayed. No, he hates them because he’s petty. In the modern au I believe Venti gets a job as a pilot, so if you tell Venti you’re packing for the airport he gets all grumpy. His excuse is “Why go to an airport I could fly you to wherever you need to go! Are you trying to tell me those airport pilots fly better than me??” After long back and fourth arguments, you finally get him to the airport. Venti would try to rush and get everything done as quick as possible so he can just get the flight process over with. He probably gives disappointed looks to the employees out of full spite and jealousy. Once you make it to your gate, Venti going to quickly try to fine a food court to get some snacks for the trip. He would definitely share one large pretzel with you, but you have to buy it. he claims it’s to make up for taking him here. once you finally get on the plane, Venti would talk to you and play little fun games while you there. but once you get in the sky he’s fast asleep. Maybe you get some peace and time to yourself on plane rides.
 XIAO-- ★
Xiao is also another person who hates airports. He doesn’t hate the actual airport himself, he just hates the people. It’s gets him frustrated having to be in a small place for up to many hours with so many people around you. He’s already grumpy the moment your driving there so I hope that’s a sign to you this might not be the best trip. I feel like he would scare other customer and employees? Not as much as Childe but enough for them to hurry up the process. Security takes longer though, with his appearance the guards are very hesitant to let him through. So you’re spending who knows how long at the security checkpoint waiting for Xiao. He would try to find somewhere to buy almond tofu from in the airport. He might use your credit card but at least he shares with you right? Once you make it on the plane, you’re going to have to ignore the passengers giving you both weird stares constantly. If you fall asleep at the plane he would literally just stare at you?? He feels as if he has nothing else to do so he either looks out the window or just stares at you. Fortunately, he finds a book he can read to distract himself for awhile. Lucky you, I guess.
ZHONGLI-- ★
Thankfully, you can actually have a normal flight with Zhongli. He’s the type of person who packs weeks in advance always thinking of any possibility that could happen. I believe he’s also somebody to buy first class in everything just for you guys to have a smooth flight to wherever you plan to go. Checking in your bags are fine and everything is below the weight limit as well. Security is very easy and everything just goes well in general. While he would let you buy things from the food court, he also hesitates like Diluc checking if everything is clean and sanitary. He would probably tell you stories from the past of modern Liyue if your flight was delayed. You might enjoy his stories but its the perfect thing to get you sleepy. Would bring you both to first class and let you rest upon his shoulder. Unlike Xiao he wont stare at you for to long, but he might stare at you once in a while. He’s mostly busy reading. He might fall asleep with you n the flight. At least he’ll wake you up once you arrive.

The Truth (part one)
So as a nice anon once asked for it, here is the first part of my thoughts on which people would find out the truth in the friendly!Impostor sagau, and how/why they managed to do so! :D
i will probably split this up into multiple posts bc i am kinda new to writing, and also im probably just gonna do general stuff now and specifics later (i really gotta figure out how to work on my posts n stuff as well, i dont even know how to do the ‘read more’ thing qwq)
Mondstadt
so first off the city we all began in, cuz its easy to start with uwu
the ones whomst i think would notice that you are actually the real creator: albedo, eula, kaeya, lisa, rosaria, mona, and maybe venti
albedo, eula, kaeya, lisa and rosaria know because they’re all pretty observant, weather it’s because of their instincts and knowledge ganed throughout their lives (eula, lisa and rosaria) or their paranoia born from wanting to protect their home from themself and/or outside forces (albedo and kaeya)
mona would know because of her ability to see the future, she probably tried looking into yours once and suddenly saw the devine creator on their throne, not hard to connect the dots at that point
i think all the archons would know something is off about you from the moment they meet you, thought they’d take different amounts of time to realise what exactly is going on. I believe venti would be the second of the current archons to know, only beated my the archon of knowledge herself. Afterall, he is all about freedom and creativity, so he has an open mind as to why he feels so weird about you, which leads him to the truth earlier than the other archons
the ones who would think something is suspicious, but either wouldnt think of you as the creator or not have proof woud be: amber, bennett, diluc, and jean
diluc and jean notice because they’re also quite observant, thought they are too devoted to the creator to actually think of you being the real one as a solid theory. they might have spend some moments thinking about it, but dismissed it just a few seconds later
amber and bennett are a special case. they mostly notice because of the time they spend with you. i imagine as an outrider and experienced adventurer amber spends a lot of time showing you the best spots of mondstadt. during these times there are bound to be moments where you are just too lucky, which add up to make her question if you are really just a blessed human, or even more. bennett has kind of the same thought process, but mostly since you are able to protect him from all the incidents his bad luck causes. you can’t just be a normal human, anyone else would’ve already gotten badly hurt being around you! maybe you’re just really special, blessed by the creator to be even able to be near him wtihout any unfortunate incidents.
the ones that are too devoted to find anything off with you are: barbara, noelle and succrose
barabara of course is fully devoted to her archon and the church of the divine creator. the thought of Impostor-chan lying or posing as you would never even crossed her mind, since they could never lie to their followers like that (you did tho lol)
noelle is very similar, though less focused on the church and more on just wanting to please people. she has never been able to say no, and probably went to church at leat every sunday to attend the ceremonies in your name. so it’s hard to connect such an unreachable and seemingly perfect being to you, who doesn’t even know how to survive in the wilderness and always returns from expeditions covered in dirt with a smile on their face
sucrose might seem weird at first because she is more into science, but she believes that this is all part of your grand plan. her experiments are only using what was given by the divine creator after all! So while she might like you for your likeness to the ‘divine being’, it takes a while for her to see past the surface and see you for your actual self
the ones that either don’t care or don’t really seem religious are: diona, fischl, klee and razor
diona and klee are honestly just wayyyyyy too young to really care about religion too much. they’re more interested in blowing up fish or creating a horribly tastig drink, so when they meet you, they don’t have too much of an opinion about the divine creator, and just see you as another fun and slightly reckless adventurer
fischl has too much of a chunibyo syndrome. she has always been enraptured in her own fantasy, which didn’t leave too much room for the divine creator. though she has made up a few scenarios with you in mind, they’re all outlandish enough to never connect to you, which means she will adress you as another one of her followers (and freak out if she ever realises who you actually are)
razor just simply doesn’t really know about you. his lupical taught him of a divine being that created all of the lands, far and near, even those which he and the wolves live in! but he thought that the being would be another wolf like andrius, not a human like you, though you do smell kind of strange... he might not think too much of it thought, since he doesn’t know too much of humans yet
(so uh, yeah! hope this kinda was a good thing to read for ppl! if y’all have any requests or questions, send ‘em in and i’ll try to answer to the best of my ability! :D thanks for reading if you’ve even gotten to this point!!)
