When Shen Yuan transmigrates, Shen Jiu doesn't perish. Shen Jiu senses and hears both Shen Yuan and the System.

When the System announces that Shen Yuan's purposes are to fill plot holes and discover characters' backstories, Shen Jiu doesn't care what 'plot holes' or 'characters' mean. He cares about the 'backstories.'

Don't backstories mean people's motives and their past actions? For Shen Jiu, there's this 'one person' whose motives and past actions he wants to pry from so much.

So after silently listening to the male spirit that shares his surname freaking out from the ridiculous tasks the female spirit demands, he speaks up, "I'm in."

Which prompts the male spirit to freak out even more.

The female spirit, though, either ignores or doesn't hear him.

My idea for a fic is:

Shen Yuan then demands the System why the original goods is still here. The System would answer it detects only the host's soul.

Shen Jiu can talk to the System and the System would reply, thinking that's Shen Yuan who asks.

Shen Yuan and Shen Jiu can communicate in 3 ways: only Shen Yuan and Shen Jiu can hear themselves; the System, Shen Yuan, and Shen Jiu can hear themselves; and people outside Shen Qingqiu's head can hear Shen Yuan and Shen Jiu.

Both Shen Yuan and Shen Jiu can control Shen Qingqiu's body. Xiu Ya responses to both.

Shen Yuan tells Shen Jiu about their fates. Shen Jiu tells Shen Yuan about which accusations are false so they can simulate the situations. For example, visiting the brothel again to show that Shen Qingqiu comes only to sleep, and farm B points for discovering the scum villain's backstory. They might use the B points to avoid the Endless Abyss, buy backstoies, or any cheats available in the System's store.

Shen Jiu will be rather nice because he's kind of in a truce to achieve the same goal.

The OOC will be easy to abide to from Shen Jiu's guidance or taking control.

And Shen Yuan and Shen Jiu come to agreements before they open the eyes to Yue Qingyuan calling out, "Qingqiu shidi, are you awake?" Like in SVSSS, but this time it's more BAMF!Shen Qingqiu with rapid fix-it.

My Sam & Max cosplay I debuted at a local con during the weekend!

#wasnt wearing leg padding in these so sorry sams a bit skinny #sam and max #cosplay #crunchchute art #my art #i could remake the pants and jacket entirely but that would be quite hard actually. i suck at making jackets especially #so those are just thrifted and edited #lots of color differences that bug me but. oh well #pants and jacket arent that different but its noticeable in these pics #as well as maxs hands and feet. theyre slightly lighter as the fabric i used is better quality #but i ran out of the stuff i used on his body etc and i couldnt buy more from that store as they took their sweet time shipping the stuff #oh well. didnt make them for a competition so its okay #im my own biggest hater and my own biggest critic #at the end of the day i made a handful of people really happy and thats all that matters to me #gotta share them every chance i get as i usually just make a cos #wear it to the con and then put it on the shelf #but im too happy with these to just hide them away after #they need a good scrub and after that id like to bring them to another con. next main goal is viecc but thats just a maybe right now

Young Justice is always a little...concerned. With Phantom's living situation. Now they're outright afraid for him, and Bart has decided it's time to Ask An Adult.

It was the little quips. The tiny little things. Stuff that didn't seem to matter to Phantom at all, or appeared to be normal for him, that he didn't realize weren't normal at all.

"Oh, better not hope my mom catches me." "Doing what, staying out past bedtime?" "Nah, using my powers; she'd vivisect me!"

"Another stab wound. Great." "Don't worry Phantom, I've got the med kit-" "Oh, I'm not a baby or anything, I can handle it just fine. Just gimme a sec to take it out."

"My dad has better aim than that." "...Like, when he's hunting, right?" "...At what other times would he be shooting at me?"

"Huh. Not as bad as my parents place. Look; they have a decontamination shower!" "Phantom, this lab has been vandalized to the point of needing a hazmat suit." "Did I stutter?"

Finding out each others identities did nothing to soothe the worry. Tim quietly told the others that every time he tried to run facial recognition, he kept hitting a government firewall he couldn't breach. Phantom never told them his last name, just his first, and 'Danny' is super common.

The thing that really did it though, the thing that made Bart snap and run off to ask Max, was when Danny had a nightmare.

He was talking in his sleep.

"No. Don't-stop. Stoooop. I need...my skin. Mom, no. You can't...peel off...my skin..."

Bart didn't even wait for them to wake Danny up before he was standing in front of Max, talking a mile a minute as he tried to figure out what to do, with Wally staring in horror over a plate of waffles as he computed everything that Bart was saying.

Danny had a dream about his mom and Skulker arguing about how to skin him. He wouldn't really call it a nightmare, because it was just Skulker, but the scariest thing was Skulker insisting to his mom that it was possible to skin him with a potato peeler. Dream mom was arguing that it was not, and that from a scientific standpoint that was a really piss poor way to preserve a specimen.

He hadn't been begging them to stop hurting him, he'd been whining at them to knock it off.

But when he wakes up, it's to a room full of worried friends and an old man who calls himself Max.

"Kid, I think we need to talk."

As soon as I began receiving asks about Junior regarding my body swap concept a few days ago, I knew I wanted to add him in a short sequence. 💙

I've considered many different scenes in which he would be included, but there was one in particular that kept coming back to my mind, and it was the exact moment he would agree to safely lead Luigi to "Bowser" (aka Mario). In this specific scenario, he would be mostly oblivious to what's going on, and would thus show palpable mistrust towards Luigi at first, who he doesn't really know and hasn't yet opened up to. But upon seeing how distraught the poor man is, Junior would feel for him and let his guard down. 🤲
