My #flexitarian lifestyle means I eat a lot of veg, fruit, nuts/seeds/healthy fats. I limit dairy (kefir and Greek yogurt) and meat (mainly chicken) plus fish. Recently I am finding #gluten is an issue and learning how to eat less of it is an even bigger issue. This is how I eat 70% of the time. The other 30% is junk. I mean of course our plans and schedules revolve around Prisha but there is one thing around which we revolve - Food! So, it's only proper to decide before hand what all we will be having and when. Jhal Muri/ Muri Makha/ Churmura is a spicy tangy snack prepared with puffed rice. It is a must in our home on weekends and holidays. It is prefect when you are going to have a late dinner and want to enjoy a light snack. Jhal Muri is also a great conversation/ gossip snack. This quick weeknight meal made fine use of three kinds of @dorotgardens cubes from my freezer (basil, garlic, and caramelized onion) thawed and combined with 3T of dehydrated tomato powder, a few glugs of EVOO, and a teeny bit of both balsamic vinegar and maple syrup, tossed with gluten free gnocchi.
