Just wanted to point out a few things:

Child ACCs

Yuu already made bunny ears for older sims, but I struggled to find anything for kids, so I just converted theirs. There are 3 versions so you can have the Yuu Ears + EA Tail both separately, or merged together as 1 ACC. The Toddler version only has the merged ACC.

Emysims Plush Bunny Toddler Socks REDONE as Shoes

Cuz Emysims' links are all dead, I reconverted their Bunny Sock ACCs (after lowering the egregiously high polys), making them Shoes for Toddlers instead.

Cyberpunk 2077 Bunny Backpack ACC

This stupid thing has TRASH joint assignments, so the arms stretch when sims bend over, and the straps clip terribly, but oh frikkin well.

Bunny & Cloud Rugs

I just lumped a bunch of different ones together, tweaking the colors on a few that didn't match the aesthetique(TM).

Fox ACCs

And as a bonus, I threw in the Fox Ears & Tail ACCs, for all of your huli-jing or kitsune needs! (Garters are found after Socks, so just keep scrolling down.)

SIMS 4 - WITCH CAREER - REALM OF MAGIC AND OUTDOOR RETREAT REQUIRED

Are you looking for a brand new Witch Career? Well, here you go! Please note, Realm of Magic and Outdoor Retreat are absolutely required to play this career.

This is an in depth, yet PART TIME, spellcasting and potion making career for your wizarding Sims. This means you'll have lots of time to complete your objectives while still earning a decent income. There are 2 levels initially, to get your skills started, and then you have 4 Branches to choose from!

You will only work 4 days a week, 6 hours per day on the first 2 levels, and 4 days per week, 5 hours per day on the Branch levels. Earnings for every branch are the same except for Absolute Alchemist, which is a bit higher due to all of the work required.

REWARD - Slinger of Spells - reduced charge gains whenever you cast a spell, protecting your Sim from death, helping them stay in the normal charge range for less failures and improved effects thanks to the school-specific Spellcaster Perks you can that that reward you keeping charge low. Slinger of Spells knocks a whopping 30% off any charge your Sim gains from any source!

Superior Sensible Sorcerer - Have you ever been told you have an old soul? Are you the one your friends and family turn to for help and advice? Sounds like you are very sensible and should head into the practical side of spellcasting. This branch will help you fulfill your potential and become a Superior Sensible Sorcerer.

LEVEL 1 - Neophyte - Your first actions as a Neophyte will be to improve and repair objects with your spells. You will also need to learn some manual skills just in case you run out of mana. What a helpful spellcaster you are!

Absolute Alchemist - Preferring potions over spellcasting is characteristic of many a green witch. If you are the type of sim who loves stirring a big stick in a big cauldron, then this is the branch for you. Be forewarned, however, this is a difficult branch to complete, and you will do much collecting, gardening, and potion making, all while increasing your spellcasting abilities. 'Tis not for the faint of heart, nor weak of wills. You must have stamina and mental strength in order to reach the top of this career and become the Absolute Alchemist.

LEVEL 1 - Gatherer - Gather together your ingredients and learn their properties well. You will need to understand the different plants in order to advance to making powerful potions.

LEVEL 3 - Hunter Gatherer - Every great potions master must collect, as you have learned. Your potions require some high-level ingredients, so now you need to go out and hunt down things like Alabaster, the Morcubus character, and the Fire Opal, and you must gather ingredients such as Valerian Root, Potatoes, and Mandrake. There's so much more, but you'll see that as you learn your newest potions. Even better, grow your own garden and really make those ingredients top notch!

REWARD - Master Mixer Trait - Master Mixers rarely fail when using potions on themselves, which is nice. This reward is listed in every potion recipe as multiplying your final score, and with other factors such as high-quality potions and buffs like My Power Grows which is rewarded after you gain a rank up in Spellcaster, you will very rarely ever see a potion failure again.

fucking hates you and hits you when you do so much as breathe in her vicinity but if anyone else picks on you it's Big sister mode. she'll leave them traumatized and maybe with a couple of bruises and takes you out to like 7/11 after to get some slurpees while being like "are you okay i love you i hate you im glad you're alive i fucking despise you"

did that thing when you two shared rooms where she'd place tape over her part of the room and if you crossed it at all she'd yell at you for invading her personal space 😭 ALSO did the thing where she'd pretend you hit her but it always backfired because you're the youngest and sweetest and an angel - according to your parents at least >__>

ohhhh writes up a storm about you and ur parents in her journal let me tell you.... especially her younger years like she was untamed.. it was looking like she was writing to some demons to fucking sacrifice you or something 😭😭

speaking of her journal, she went batshit crazy if you even looked at it, let alone attempted to snoop. HAD THE TECH JOURNAL OMG. the pink one that was voice activated. she cried for days when you straight up just broke it and wrote "poop-head" and "gay" all over her entries LMFAO

nothing was better than eavesdropping when she brought jackie over too omg...lying on ur stomach by her door and listening in to them talk about what they're gonna name their baby on sims

calling jackie shauna's girlfriend and it's the only time she's too flustered to insult you back

thinking about shauna begrudgingly coming to you for help to get more coins on club penguin because you're really good at cart surfer 🙄

she's more territorial over her books than her journal almost, but she'll lend you them. and maybe she tolerates you more because you're actually interested in reading them but she'll never tell u that....buying more books that she thinks you'd like 😖

i'd like to imagine her taking you to school in that fuck ass car of hers. ur surprised, and kinda bummed out, that it never broke down on the way to, and she NEVER let u mess with the radio >__> she'd rather crash while slapping ur hand away than listen to the music you pick

if we're talking about big sister shauna who's like...a year or two older, she'd act like she has no idea who you are when ur in school together 😭 you come up to her and her friends during recess and wanna play with her but she wants nothing to do with you 🙄 she feels bad when she sees you walking away with ur head down and makes a note to give you her brownie during lunch

the occasional time you'd get along, you make forts with her and watch ur favorite shows. tucking you back in bed with ur fav stuffed animal if you accidentally fell asleep :( she'd make you the Best homemade gifts ever for ur birthdays too!!!!! like a little book she made of stories to entertain you or that time she was really into clay and made you a safe to drink mug :3

at the end of the day, you wouldn't trade her for the world no matter how many times you wished she wasnt your sister

The short answer is that ~2016 the YouTube algorithm served me up Lovesick and I immediately went EXCUSE ME WHAT IS THIS and looked up everything else available and watched literally everything I could get my hands on (which at the time was easy because there was only a handful compared to today, but it still felt like a wealth of content to enjoy).

The longer answer is that I used to be really involved in GL (I was the secretary at the first Yuricon in North America in 2002 or 2003) and then BL manga fandom (was in a scanlation group for awhile) through ~2006? so its extra hilarious that this wasn't my route in; I apparently took a break right before they started making live action versions in Japan. But when I got into Thai BL it was fun rediscovering these tropes in a new medium and through the lens of a new-to-me culture, noticing how they differed and how the genre had matured (and how it hadn't), and on catching up on the stuff out of Japan, seeing some of the manga I read over a decade ago come to life! So I mention this history because it's definitely a part of why I stayed (and probably why the algorithm found me relatively quickly).

I only started tracking things in a spreadsheet in 2020 (and it's not nearly as comprehensive or useful as @absolutebl 's), but I did try to backfill the highlights of what I've seen and I have over 550 rows on there, fwiw. I'm a completionist so I do try to watch everything, though that's getting more and more impossible these days.

CAS CC

Ironically, the 2 Hair Buns were the hardest for me (cuz CAS CC drives me nuts), as I had to make my own meshes--bleh.

The plainer Buddhist ACC was easier, but it literally took me 2 years to get the more ornate ACC to a point that I could release it for upload, cuz for the longest it was bad. (It's still not great, but better.)

The Hair I already talked about here. The Vermilion Sheer ACC I've used a billion times in my gameplay pics. I separated it from the Phoenix outfit by @amethyst-sims so it could be used with any outfit, Everyday-Outerwear, with fit-fat morphs. Found under Necklaces.

We don't really see LWJ carry his Guqin Back Bag ACC in the live action, but it features a lot more in the donghua, which is directly what my ACC's mesh /& textures are based on. It is found under Garters, so just scroll down past the Socks section and you'll see it.

BUY MODE CC

The 4 Guqins are all 10k polys, but I have tons of them on my lots so they should be fine.

I've shown y'all the animated Music Notes Lights a few times. I just took the mesh from this ACC by Luluke at TSR and retextured it.

They're found under Table Lights (and I think Outdoor Lights IIRC).

The Wall Scrolls are self explanatory.

They have the same variations, either taken from or inspired by the paintings Wei Wuxian drew of Lan Wangji and their pets from the different adaptations.

I made the Bamboo Sheets Stand mesh myself (*le gasp!*).

I got the texture variations on from Noir & Moi's Yuxi conversions. They're not "music notes," but PRETEND, omg.

PLLM Day 1 Roundup

The day is almost over, and I thought I'd address a few things before the next round begins!

1. Most importantly, PLEASE make sure you're not voting just based on who your blorbo is. There are a billion ways we could find out tumblr's favorite character; this poll is trying to find out who the POOREST LITTLE MEOW MEOW is. Keep factors like sliminess, amount of war crimes committed, and piteousness in mind when voting!
