If anyone was wondering the authenticity of my username, gold rush was about 1/2 of my entire Taylor Swift listening time.
I listened to gold rush 12,740 times this year. That’s about 38,850 minutes total !
I listened to Taylor for a total of 85,743 minutes this year (.005% of fans).
I am the second top fan of gold rush according to Spotify (44,533 mins total!).
In conclusion, I really really love gold rush.

ten songs + ten people
Tagged by @hbyrde36 - thanks so much! This was a fun one!
Though, I think I must use Spotify weirdly, as I only had 104 "liked" songs, so that I was gonna be a very narrow shuffle pool.
So, I did it a little differently, and pulled up my Spotify stats for the year, used a random number generator set between 1-1000 and these are the 10 songs I got:
1. Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin (1969) - #364 w/ 6 streams
2. Slither by Djo (2022) - #876 w/ 6 streams (Seeing this as 6 streams, just like Zep, but it's 500+ spots lower, is pretty funny. Song length can make a big difference.)
3. Don't Do Me Like That by Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers (1979) - #180 w/ 23 streams
4. Doctor My Eyes by Jackson Browne (1972) - #339 w/ 11 streams
5. Bark at the Moon by Ozzy Osbourne (1983) - #238 w/ 12 streams
6. If I Can Find a Clean Shirt by Willie Nelson & Waylon Jennings (1991) - #51 w/ 35 streams
7. Incense And Peppermints by Strawberry Alarm Clock (1967) - #176 w/ 23 streams
8. Twice As Hard by The Black Crowes (1990) - #802 w/ 3 streams
9. Tweeter and the Monkey Man by The Traveling Wilburys (1988) - #3 w/ 106 streams (Fun fact: This song was absolutely surrounded by songs from Wildflowers, so the random generator worked very hard to miss all of them, lol.)
10. My Back Pages (Live at Madison Square Garden) by Bob Dylan, Roger McGuinn, Tom Petty, Neil Young, Eric Clapton & George Harrison (1993) - #369 w/ 7 streams
Obviously, I listen to a LOT of new music, as you can see. Real current stuff here, lol. The average release year is 1985. And I think that Djo song is skewing the stats, lol.
It said I couldn't scroll past 1000 without it crashing the app, but I totally did, so I should have widened the range, in hindsight. Would have probably gotten some more random stuff mixed in that way. Next time.
Anyone that hasn't been tagged and wants to do it, please do! ❤️
