Rules

Submissions are closed.

Polls will run for a week and I will give you at least a days notice.

I will not answer asks while a poll is up unless it's propaganda or a question about the polls.

I will not answer asks about discourse. I might think about what you said but I don't want discourse on this blog.

I will also not respond to rude or mean asks.

Please send asks that are propaganda. Also, please send asks with your fan art or your favourite screenshots that you wouldn't mind me using for polls.

Please send in a description of your favourite throuples if you want to; these will be used in the polls.

Please do not be rude about other people's interests or the other throuples in the tournament. You can talk about your preferred throuple without talking badly about the other/s.

I would also like to say that Ziggy Stardust, who is a character from the music of David Bowie, was submitted, but did not make it into the roster. The research I did said that Ziggy was also Bowie's persona for a while, and I feel as though that is sort of crossing the line of the no real people rule, even if he was originally created as just a character before becoming a persona.

Top Ten "SonBoy" characters I like in order of how much I want to adopt them from least to most

Luke (The Professor Layton Series) - I know you're Professor Layton's #1 apprentice, but where are your parents? Doesn't matter, I'm you're new mom now.

Adrien Agreste (Miraculous Ladybug) - This boy has HORRIBLE homelife. Let me give him a good homelife with me working during the times he's at school and his afterschool activities he wants to stay in. Or just working when he's at school so I can see his competitions. If he still wants to make money through modeling, perfectly fine so long as it's his choice.

Razputin Aquato (Psychonauts series) - I know he has parents but he's big SonBoy energy and Dona and Augustus are... questionable. If I can't have him as my son I want him in some form as a younger sibling or cousin.

Apollo Justice (Phoenix Wright series) - I know he's a grown adult but literally all the adults he looked up to aside from Phoenix Wright are dead and gone. Let me be his mother.

K.O. (OK K.O. Let's Be Heroes) - Again another child with not the best family life but all things considered it's pretty good. Good step-father and okay mother.

Hunter (The Owl House) - He has a set of parents already waiting in the wings. I'd like to join that waiting list. He seems like a very nice boy.

Sora (Kingdom Hearts) - Plucky Protagonist who does not care about finding parents, just his friends. I worry about his trauma. This whimsical character has dealt with so much and is still optimistic. Never change, Sora. Never change.

Ash Ketchum (Pokemon Anime) - This boy would not appreciate having a new parent. Does not change the fact he has SonBoy energy.

Clay (Wings of Fire) - Is he a dragon that is most likely going to kill me on accident? Yeah. But damn all of his guardians have left and I know he has unresolved trauma that he resolves through extreme stress eating. Let the boy be OKAY! DON'T BRUSH EVERYTHING UNDER THE RUG, SUTHERLAND.

Steven Universe (Steven Universe) - SonBoy energy but he is now a grown adult with plenty of trauma and while I love him I don't think I could take care of him.

Greg, a gay man in the closet, is about to move to the city with his boyfriend. When his parents drop in for a surprise visit, he struggles to keep his secret.

And then a magical cat and dog emerge from a rainbow, make Greg and his dog switch bodies and complicate matters further.

Well-meaning short film, part of the infamous Spark Shorts collection from Pixar and meant to celebrate LGBT folks. Unfortunately, it’s the kind of story that is about queer people but not actually intended for them. Yet another story made under the impression that queer people *ought* to come out to their straight relatives and friends and that not doing so is lying —as opposed to often being a necessary survival strategy in an extremely hostile world.

Then there is the entire matter of Greg and his dog switching bodies, which feels like it was added mostly to integrate bits of comedy to entertain children —whom, the filmmakers seem to assume, would otherwise be bored. A story that cannot conceive of queer children existing.

In short, the opposite of genuinely queer, all-audiences animated shorts like “In a heartbeat”.

Pleasant The Beginnings, But Lamentable The End. | Origin!TommyInnit & Origin!SBI

Being born a Hybrid is a middle finger from God. Or that's what Tommy claimed. Multiple arguments supporting this statement already started showing when he was young. At 16, he and two of his friends - Tubbo, A Ram hybrid, and Ranboo, An Enderian - built a small house in the deepest parts of the woods to shield themselves from the omnipresent racism towards hybrids the humans kept. Tommy never understood the reasoning for such prejudice towards his kind, but there was nothing that he could do about it now. Because Tommy wasn't with his friends anymore. Tommy was stuck in a cabin owned by the man he knew even before he was chained to the wall and held there like some sort of prey, constantly threatened and beaten and humiliated. It went on for five months after the hunter caught the Avian, and the teen has long since lost hope for his friends rescue. Until, his rescuers came. But they weren't Tommy's friends. - Or; An Origin/Hybrids au where Tommy is rescued by SBI after being abducted by a hunter; Dream. And even after being saved from his abuser, Tommy still can't let himself trust the people that most likely saved his life. But, as time goes on, he warms up to them eventually. Healing fic.

Unit Viability Speculation - Grid Expansions

We got grids! You kids like grids?!

Lysandre got Crit Strike 3 at 4/5, and Brainpower 5/5. Again. Caitlin. Please. He also got Sync Damage Guard which is kinda nice I guess, and...DOWNSIDE UP ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING?! Good god, DeNA, just fucking buff Anni Steven, Christ alive. Grand Entry 2 is kinda nice but not hugely significant for the man. I dunno, it’s fine but I’m not great for him. It doesn’t quite do enough, but I don’t hate it.

Ghetsis gets Ramp Up and Sharp Entry which is nice, and MGR9 on Glaciate, which is fantastic. I’ll take it.

Cheren. Brace yourselves. Terrify isn’t bad. Brain Brawn 3 is pretty nice actually. Endurance, pog. Crunch On a Roll 2 is pretty nice. Team Sharp Entry is not bad. He can heal off Full Heal, let’s go Cheren! Come on boy, one more thing and I will call this good! Shielded 2 on trainer move? I’ll take it. It does replenish gauge. My hope was speed control. A bit of speed buffing and this would’ve actually been nice. Instead he’s still kinda trapped in the cycle of one high-cost move to needing trainer move, but like...they tried. If nothing else, this doesn’t feel like the disaster of last month.

Roxie gets Toxic Power 5 and Ramming Speed, which is pretty nice move damage. Inertia’s great given her extra speed buffing she got on grid. And Sharp Entry is nice for more sufficient setup. You’ll be pleased to know, Roxie got some good tools, she works well.

Clay got Trip Up 9! On Mud Shot only. Get fucked, dude. Ramming Speed, Virulent Toxin 3 for...some reason, Toxic Chane 2 for...some reason (as consistent at poisoning as Halloween Iris, normal behavior), Brute Wits isn’t bad, Ramming Speed/Hunter’s Instinct are solid multipliers for bad move damage. It could’ve been worse.
