"SOUND ON!

We were lucky to have our protagonist, Jerry, be voiced by award winning actor, Mr. Alfred Molina. You definitely know him from some of the roles hes played over the years in movies and tv shows like Frida, The Spider-Man franchise, Chocolat, Boogie Nights, Magnolia, An Education, Feud: Betty and Joan, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark (throw me the idol!) and his new series, Three Pines.

When we asked Alfred to be our lead, we were kind of embarrassed. He's a Juilliard trained actor whos won awards on the biggest stages, and we asked him to make bird noises. But ill tell you this, he absolutely nailed it. Not only is Alfred a great actor, but he's a super nice human being and a joy to be around! So happy to have him as part of our "Flutter" family!

When I first saw trailers and stuff for Elemental I legit thought this was some kind of wannabe Pixar schlock and not the real thing. It was so generic and overly allegorical I couldn't believe Pixar would actually sign off on it because it looked like a parody of their formula.

yeah honestly same lmao. animated works about personified elements is a pretty common idea from what i've seen, i'm hoping a lasting impact of elemental will be a decline in that trope because honestly i'm kinda tired of it ghfdnksg. or at least i'd like to see it done in a new way other than "opposing elemental characters have to find a way to get along"

#most people i've seen with element stories like this are pretty young animators so i'm not gonna rag on them too hard #everyone that goes through film/animation school is gonna have at least one short idea that's exactly like 50 other movies that exist #that's just kinda how it is! it's a learning experience #but yeah the fact that this was a very large pixar production. woof. #fernasks

Cars franchise > ALL CHARACTERS

Starting of with one of the most obvious media for this list, we have the Cars franchise! This is THE BEST Disney franchise of ALL TIME - you can't change my mind. Man, am I glad I got the chance to grow up with this franchise. Obviously, I shall not list every single Cars character, because I'd pretty much be dedicating the whole blog to that alone if I did... Anyways, here are the elements of that franchise:

Movie: Cars 3 (2017)

TV Series: Mater's Tall Tales (2008 - 2012)

TV Series: Cars on the Road (2022)

Those are the main elements of that franchise.
