I am going to be honest here.
There has been a lot of ... conflict ... on the blogs these last few days.
Tumblr media
Like most, when I saw the notif for the live, I turned it on and saw Tae.. at JK's... and dread filled me. Then Hobi was visible and that dread dissipated instantly. I watched the chaos and then it was over in a blink. But the dread came back because I know what happens: the scum crawls out of their corners to start their idiocy. That's the foundation of this dread that creeps in. I'm mostly a positive person but I react with my whole self when I detect the stench of that sort of rot.
I am calling myself out for allowing a toxic segment of the fandom to influence how I feel toward interactions between certain members. It is not the behavior of the members of BTS that is influencing this negativity in me, it is the actions of people who aggressively bully others in order to diminish the bonds between members that does it ... I am aware that it is a weakness of mine. I am far from perfect and I need to work harder at combating that.
Tumblr media
In like two minutes, JK came back and adorably (ADORABLY I SAY) folded his underwear and toe socks in front of us for another 12 minutes and then was gone. He had to pack for a trip, get a little rest and be up and running to the airport.
Still, after sleeping on it, I woke up irritated... ticked off... at Tae.
Not for the reasons that I see everyone blowing up over... I was ticked off because of Tae's irresponsibility... because was Hobi really ready to show us his haircut? Hobi, who knows what it all means to us? Hobi who had to say "this is what we all have to do." Hobi who had to come on IG and give us some pics of it after the fact?
I consoled myself with the thought that maybe he was ok with it and told Tae to go ahead ... maybe he thought this would be a good way to break it to us... who knows.
And I calmed down and am fine with it all after I saw the translations. Hobi is a grown man. He can handle it.
Tumblr media
I was also concerned that, what if there were things laying around that were visible that maybe Jungkook didn't want us to see? LIKE HIS UNDERWEAR HAHAHAHA! Seriously though, I don't know what, just stuff that would cause him to have to explain... YOU KNOW HOW WE ARE! WE PICK APART EVERYTHING!
Right away there he was the doing the laundry... HIS UNDERWEAR HAHAHAHA! In his 12-minute follow-up live, he eventually said "why am I showing you this side of me? Maybe this isn't something you need to see..."
Anyway.
I am glad Tae and Hobi spent some time with Jungkook. It is still so refreshing to see them being candid and spontaneous and I love knowing they see each other. WE NEVER KNOW ANYTHING UNLESS THEY SHOW US/TELL US!
Tae looking up at Hobi so lovingly and hugging him gave me a sharp pang in my chest. Tae literally going "oops, gotta go, car is here" and poof, turns off the live, is such a normal slice-of-life moment.
Tumblr media
JK just going about his business in his own space while his hyungs were there was also just a rare precious moment we NEVER get to see and I am thankful for it!
As for the things I've seen people saying...
If you want to bash me for not taking up sides, go ahead.
If you want to criticize me for not agreeing with your point of view, go ahead.
If you think I am being blind to a situation that YOU believe is happening, go ahead. I don't care.
Hating on one member is not going to diminish the hate another member receives because the hate is embedded in those bad actors BECAUSE THEY ARE LUNATICS WHO BELIEVE IN A FALLACY and adding more hate does not cancel it out. Think about that.
Army fandom is very segmented right now. It is understandable. We all have our faves and we individually move to the beat of that drum.
But do not frame EVERYTHING that happens between specific members to be about the relationship of said members. That is tunnel vision and not realistic whatsoever.
Tumblr media
Jimin and Jungkook are the two that I pay closest attention to so I cannot speak on what makes Tae do the things he does. What we see is just a fraction of what goes on. What we see (or do not see) on social media does not prove anything.
I love BTS as a group and I love each individual member. They each have their own personalities and they all love and support each other.
Bottomline: I am on Team Bangtan, what team are you on?

man. batdr archives. what
i hate them
sorry im gonna go full on hater mode here because oh my god? oh my god
Tumblr media
i’ve got a sneaking suspicion that this came out now as damage control for the AI thing because 1. it wasn’t included in the game all along like BATIM’s archives were and 2. this tweet
Tumblr media
like was it thrown together in such a rush that they forgot a whole ass character?
or it is a joke and was a planned action half a year after the game came out but eh who knows
either way this is not what i’m here to rant about (cuz im sure this is gonna turn to a rant)
it’s about bad writing, bad exposition and bad game design. buckle up!
Tumblr media
i see what they mean with the smile being a challenge to create, you can see in countless animations for fansongs how different artists tackled that and for one i think they did that very well
however. why the clothes exactly? is it just a meta reason with no reasoning in-universe whatsoever?
and look i’m not a fan of the ink demon having a voice (though i respect the craft behind it, the voice actor is very talented, it’s just a personal preference) BUT if you made the ink demon talk you should by logical extension either make toon bendy talk as well or explain why the hell he’s talking? i can see it being distracting but there are characters that have squeaky annoying voices in games and they’re fine (and it’s not like toon bendy is around the player for a super long time)
Tumblr media
i dunno what logic this whole thing operates on anymore but if joey commissioned the ink machine then it should be his and arch gate got all his shit after he passed away so idk what retrieve is supposed to mean here
but it could just be badly written sentences and the archive is full of those (once again making me think that the thing was done in a rush)
Tumblr media
that’s fair i guess
yall did make him look like a generic demon tho
i mean... it could be worse? if the goal was to make him look out of place then it was achieved but idk if it’s actually a good thing
i do like the bit about Wilson influencing how things look under him being in control of the cycle (though they have a very silly definition about what the cycle is but more about that later)
Tumblr media
dude. the beast bendy design was already bad in BATIM and they made it even worse in BATDR like what TToTT
its just an angry mountain of muscles, the batim design at least had that leg injury thing going on which made moving with front arms make more sense, this dude right here is just a big inky gorilla (and not in a good way)
playing as the final form in on itself isnt a bad idea, does sound quite fun, personally tho i did not enjoy the very ending on the game
i dunno it just felt weird and all the other characters randomly appearing and the lost ones attacking being so awkward and ink demon acting as if they could kill you... nah man i wasn’t feeling it
Tumblr media
okay so lets get this straight
cycle = a series of events that repeat
breaking the cycle would mean doing something different and stopping the cycle from continuing (so what... wilson was doing actually)
saying that making it restart again is what breaking it means is just??? no?
“satisfying face reveal” welp. each to their own XD
i see their purpose theme and thats neat and all but man do i hate how henry in this game is just. there and how some stranger is the person helping him get out of his horrible fate like its sooooooo unsatisfying
Tumblr media
yeah she got more personality ill give her that
but she’s not a beacon of hope. she’s a beacon of tearing away the satisfaction of defeating a villain that we as the player worked hard towards
and uh... isn’t getting thrown into a horrible dimension full of monsters that audrey isn’t familiar with and is supposed to be freaked out about a bad moment to introduce a familiar face? like from a writing perspective, because it happens nearly instantly as chapter one starts
shouldn’t audrey be unmotivated then and struggling to figure out the world on her own? the player should also be haunted at this world, like it’s a horror game bestie ! don’t make me comfortable
Tumblr media
well glad to hear the confirmation on that batds is happening in pararel to batdr
but his involvement in the main story is honestly such a nothing burger
is he there just so you can put batdr on the “can you pet the dog” site?
Tumblr media
oh ok so what you’re basically putting down here is that he’s a boring perfect extremely rich guy, wasn’t even a bad father, completely stripping wilson’s arc of depth, cool, was afraid there would be something of substance powering the backbone of the plot of this game
and saying that both joey and wilson are worse people because theyre cringefail at business XDDDDDDDDDDD
Tumblr media
ok here is something that im glad they addressed because ive been wondering about it - how audrey forgot that joey was her dad and how did she end up working at arch gate then
i suppose it implies that there’s something we might still learn/theorize about it, like for example if it was the machine drawing her in or gent wanting to get the machine back and manipulating things into place from behind the scenes
Tumblr media
i really wonder how you can enter in and out the ink realm unnaturally but good to mention why he looks like that if he’s supposed to be nathan’s son
Tumblr media
you cant just say that a character was important to the story, its not gonna happen from words
how is she important exactly? she just talks and uh.. helps audrey make the drink that makes you fall asleep? man that section of the game was Weird
i do want to like her, she seems nice and there could be interesting things to her backstory but as for the plot she really didn’t do much, sorry, betty
if you wanna say that pushing the plot forward by giving audrey that drink and then alice appearing outta nowhere and kidnapping here is a good big contribution then idk what to tell you... its such a bad way to make the plot progress, it was so confusing because characters were behaving as in forced to do Things to Progress the Plot (especially Audrey drinking that thing at all like seriously girl?? and Alice appearing comically at the last sip like wooooooow are you for real)
Tumblr media
ah. so they were attempting a redemption arc
[saying this he didn’t threw aside the large rock. he was right to be holding the large rock]
this sucks man! what did joey help correct exactly? created more ink people to suffer eternally? wow, dude, thanks
also lmao what learned from his mistakes, did you HEAR his dialogue at the end of batim?? (an audrey can be heard right after that scene as well so isnt his whole change of heart supposed to be happening around here + allison has already been added to the squad)
it’s just... it’s just such bullshit man
you can make us like joey as a character but don’t you fucking dare make us like him as a person
bad. just bad
(aaaaaand this is the part that made me realize i wish the archives just. weren’t added! wow! i’m even surprised with myself with how much I Don’t Like them)
Tumblr media
WHAT flaws??? hello??? please give it a big thinking and tell me what flaws does Audrey have im shaking and crying
also is her “deep dark past” supposed to just be like bEINg JoEY DRewS DAUghtER OOOoooOOo? lmao. wow so dark wow so deep
i dont know why this story needed a fresh pair of eyes because the story is that audrey is joeys daughter and that wilson is nathan archs son and that bendy is bendy. wow so deep so dark and complicated!!!!!!!11!!111
also whats the point of fresh eyes if you welcome us with familiar faces?
also sorry to break this to you but its not hard to stand out from the kinda cast that is presented to us in this game. sorry i cant decide if i care more about audrey or random employee number 24 with a random problem that i have 0 reason or time to get attached to. i seriously cant decide
Tumblr media
suuuure we were so muddled xD oh you got us so good you sneaky little cheeky little quirky little
cant fucking believe we almost had a proper nathan arch jr and a secret one eyed villain that there was so much hype about and theories that they obviously tried to deliever here
its speculative but. knowing that they take inspiration from fan theories - they admitted to it and ex employees said so, i think we would have to be in some serious denial to think that @lucky-dreamfisher‘s one-eyed bendy theory wasn’t meant to be represented here with wilson’s character
ALSO THIS NARRATIVE. THIS NARRATIVE HAS ZERO- NO, NEGATIVE AMOUNT OF COMPLEXITY
GOD
this story makes so much LESS sense based on what you said! aaaaaaaa we were so close to greatness
Tumblr media
what is so wrong with not resetting the cycle then?
not that im a fan of how wilson was approaching things, he very clearly wanted to make himself the ruler of this realm and have power over everyone but sounds like that sure beats living under ink demons reign?
but also idk if this is entirely true like in batim chapter 5 we can see that lost ones were capable of making that lost harbour and sammy is later mentioned to have mastered a special ability too so??
Tumblr media
i wish we learned more about the pit because it sounds quite interesting and we were working hard towards getting there and finally didnt get to see it at all (a shame! very unrewarding to the player)
im not gonna comment on reverting here cuz its a serious mental thing im not knowledgable about
Tumblr media
i haaaate this
you... this is not how exposition is done!
show don’t tell?? how about SHOW don’t TELL??
what in the goddamn. you can’t just pull that outta your ass and say yep. this is how it is. bro. dude.
im referring here to the ink machine bit, the previous sentences can actually be seen in the story
but the design does not reflect what is written here
and they are doing so much of that in these archives, this telling of the story in a place that is not meant for telling of the story, you do that IN the STORY. rarghrgrh
Tumblr media
surprise i found another nice thing: confirmation on that alice was the one who mutilated the butcher gang, cuz i dont think that was ever confirmed before but at least you can find implications of that in the game so its fine to outright confirm that here, good job about that
i dont know what theyre on about carley, she doesnt really look like that to me and ive looked at her model in the archives, in the files and at peoples renders of her and i just dont see it
but i guess it might mean it was like a suit that someone got stuck in- FNAF?!>!!>!?
Tumblr media
no way. no fucking way
we got robbed what ToT
he was removed in favour of WHAT???? AMOK????
dude there ill be real. there’s barely anything that is worth keeping there instead of having him play a bigger role
and im not even that big on sammys character! hes one of my least liked characters personally even! but at least there is something more to him and just man after 5 years you could have given him more than just a dumb wilhelm scream joke, that almost feels like a spat in the face lmao
thanks for again confirming something though with that flow thing, as we noticed sammy uses gaps in the wall in batim chapter 2 to travel around the place
why not have him teach audrey the flow ability? imagine how could that would have been
Tumblr media
im just baffled this exist but sammy apparently had to be cut out
lol
lmao
moving on
Tumblr media
my brother in christ why are you making it a mystery if she will appear, she literally appeared in every game so far with quite major roles
also... what layers? sure in batim with her story (susie’s story) there sure been some layers, susie’s story in batim is probably aside from joey’s story the deepest character arc they got
but alice in batdr? she’s there to play a stupid game she set herself up to lose, get mad at that (eh?) shoot you and die
what layers, really
Tumblr media
gender
but also idk i found the fight annoying and random, you could throw it out and not much of value would be lost, put sammy back in
Tumblr media
YOU MADE HIM NOTHING
YOU TOOK A PERFECTLY FINE ENEMY AND GAVE IT ANXIETY THATS WHAT YOU DID /j /ref
idk if id describe the ink demon as putting the player on edge because he doesnt actually roam the place
you see a grey overlay on your screen and you need to hide or you die... which gets tiring fast and annoying
you totally could still have lurker (even if just restricted to some areas) as a free roaming monster
and the unlikely ally thing is just so bland like yeah he’s there, we know nothing about him aside from that he eats hearts, incredibly charming fella
not thrilled by his design either but that issue i already had with the first trailer but i guess they just sticked with that
Tumblr media
bendy devs not use mental illnesses as derogatory terms challenge
i like the crab boy design, he’s sillay
Tumblr media
bro forgot a texture tho
so yeah not. happy with the archives
sorry if im like overly negative but ive honestly tried to give this sequel (because despite what they were saying it IS undoubtedly a sequel) my best assumptions and it turns out its nearly all the worst assumptions
its annoying, im annoyed
they should hire a writer to help them get this mess together, maybe get adrienne in on it, i dunno, because clearly if they need to be specific and not leaving things open like in batim, then they arent managing very well
Tumblr media
they even fucking killed harold

What was it that made you pick Skybound out of all the Ninjago seasons to rewrite? I know I usually do rewrites for story concepts that hold potential but are never lived up to them; is there anything like that you see in S6? :O
Boy is there ever!
There are a lot of things that could be tweaked to make Skybound way better, but the main thing that grabed me was Nya and Jay's storylines, which are actually set up to be pretty solid.
I liked how they actually set up an arc for Jay to go through. A focus season that actually focuses on developing the ninja's character? Sounds great! I'm so down!
Okay, Jay makes a wish he shouldn't have in a moment of weakness. This is a good setup. It's obviously gonna be a moment he regrets, and he's going to be carrying a guilty conscience-
Oh, actually, he immediately lies to Nya to try and manipulate her into liking him after she firmly started she wasn't interested.
His friends are mad at him for his actions later, though.
Okay, good. Having to deal with the consequences of his actions (remember how invested we were in "actions have consequences" in the first episode?) will surely spark some personal growth-
Nope! His friends immediately do a 180 and start talking about how sorry they are for being mean to Jay.
...what!?
You had Jay all set up to learn a lesson, and have to reflect and grow, but then we're suddenly supposed to feel sorry for him even though he hasn't shown the slightest hint of guilt? After half a season of nothing but him being a selfish lying remorseless jerk?
I'm not even being a Jay-hater. I love the idea of Nadakhan preying on Jay's low self-esteem, especially when he takes advantage of Jay's emotionally vulnerable state fresh off of Nya's rejection to trick him into making a wish. But even though Nadakhan influenced him, it was still Jay that made the wish, and that's an uncomfortable truth he's going to have to face.
You might say it's...Jay's wish to keep.
They've got a really good start to a story about a flawed character improving themselves, but then they don't put the part in where he improves himself, just more and more flaws with only the barest amount of growth (the one ninja guy stopped moping and saved the day like he and all the ninja do every season. That doesn't even come close to balancing out all the lying, whining, and possesivness we've been subjected to from him this entire season).
And then there's Nya.
Oh Nya.
Things again start off good. Nya's facing a lot of misogyny for being the first girl ninja. It sucks, she's mad, but at least her friends stick up for her.
Sure, it's done kind of clunkily, but showcasing that girls have to face a lot of unfair attitudes can be a very validating thing for real girls to see, especially if the girl characters are allowed to get angry, and the other characters take their anger seriously and help fight back.
Furthermore, having the main characters (you know, the ones the kids watching the show are supposed to relate to/look up to/think are cool) stick up for their friend, and learn that they need to check themselves sends a pretty good message to the kids watching. Like, exactly the kind of message you want to send.
And after Ninjago's previous poor handling of female characters, it would be a much appreciated gesture.
But as we know, that's not how things went down.
Instead, Nya gets kidnapped, doesn't get to be part of the climax, is killed for a man's character development, and then gets together with a guy she initially said 'no' to dating as a reward for his arc.
...why?!?
I think what gets me is they kind of start to go in a compelling direction, but then they make the most violent u-turn possible in the wrongest direction. It's not unusual for Ninjago to be bad, but here it almost feels like they were trying. Like...how does a conscious attempt to be more feminist result in the most misogynistic season of the series?? How could you set out on such a right direction things and end up going so wrong???
I know the reason the season's so bad because they're were basically no women involved in the writing process, and I get the feeling said writing process was on a time crunch, but even with those stipulations, I still don't understand how you can screw up that badly. It's genuinely baffling.
Skybound's failings stick out because it feels like they were purposely dumping gasoline on the misogynistic dumpster fire, and also trying to make Jay as hatable as possible. Like, you had some really solid storylines set up for your characters, why'd you suddenly stop and start shooting yourself in the foot???
I couldn't stop thinking about it. They were right there, and then they missed so dramatically.
It plagued my brain from the moment I first watched it.
Also I do like how Nadakhan's a more talky/manipulator type villain, that really let's you dig into your main characters weak points in an interesting way, but holy hell did he need a redesign because yikes.

2022 Wrapped
Tagged by @takearisk-ao3
Post the top 5 works you're most proud of that you released in 2022 (not necessarily your most popular)
1 Backstabber
It was by far my most angsty story. It was by far my most cherished story. I loved writing every single second of it as my heart broke over and over and over again.
2 Basorexia
It was just a fun one-shot where I got to explore so many POVs that I’ve never written before.
3 Effloresce
It was so borderline AU that it really gave me the courage and confidence to go full blown AU. It was such a fun Hinny story.
4 Scones
Because James Sirius is a little shit and Ginny would love her hectic Mother’s Days.
5 Brumous
I would put this higher but I legit just started it. It’s a pet project I’ve thought about for YEARS and now I’m finally writing it. It’s gone through a lot of drafts in my head of where I’d start the divergence and what would happen, but I’m rather pleased with it so far.
your top 4 current WIPs that you're excited to release in the new year
1 Precipice
This story is really going to tear my action-writing skills but I am so excited for it. It’s really unique and I haven’t read anything like it before. You know I strive for unique. I’m excited to show my new Horcrux traps and how Ginny falls off the deep end.
2 Bête Noire
This is such a self-indulgent story. It’s no secret Sirius is my favorite character and I haven’t been shy about how I hate how he’s portrayed a lot of the time. So I’m excited to really give him a strong trauma background with this story
3 Thrice
I have a few short stories planned in the first war. One of them is a short 4-chapter story about the three times Jily defied Voldemort. The last chapter is pure fluff of Harry being born and then the prophecy coming to light - so the consequences of defying him thrice
4 Lacuna
My year after the war story that went from canon compliant to AU compliant. I’m not sure if I’ll get to it next year, but here’s to hoping!
your top 3 biggest improvements in your writing over the past year
1 Better charts
I have finally found a way to organize my many charts so I can easily find information while writing to keep it all consistent from story-to-story
2 Branching Out on POVs
I started out just exclusively writing Harry and Ginny POVs. Over the last year, I’ve really juggled different POVs and converging those POVs together to tell cohesive stories where you see the action from multiple angles. That’s been hard yet fun
3 Getting better at writing action scenes
I still have panic attacks when I have to write an action scene but I don’t spend nearly as much time or agonize over them as much. I’m really trying not to freak out over them and I’m told I’m decent. But that might just be people being nice to me because they know I’m a weeper.
your top 2 resolutions (ways you wish to improve your writing/blog) for the new year
1 To write what I want to write and not be influenced by outside sources. I just need to tell the stories I want to tell and say fuck it to the haters and the people telling me they dislike my direction that I’m going. I need to stop listening to people who try to force me to write something I don’t want to write. I love prompts and people leaving their ideas in reviews as long as there is no pressure to write it. But I just felt a lot of pressure last year and writing became not so much fun.
2 Just to have my confidence in general. I worry sometimes my ideas aren’t good or I shouldn’t write certain plots because I’m worried people won’t like them. I almost deleted my Fleamont POV in Bête Noire and Bell basically said she’d disown me if I did. So yeah, just more confidence.
and your number 1 favorite line you've written this year
Uh… how about speech? Full quote? Sirius’ latest mental break in Brumous had me sobbing.
Sirius laughed, his head shaking. "Yeah, I could have my life back. That's fucking hilarious, you know that, right? I have a bounty over my head for thirteen murders I didn't commit. One of the victims isn't even ruddy dead! I'm stuck in a house I vowed to never return to. I've buried the only parents I ever knew, buried my only true brother and his wife, and have a godson who is wanted by a fucking psychopath! Nothing about my life right now is normal or easy and I certainly can't go back to the person I was fourteen years ago. That Sirius is dead. He died the summer his girlfriend was supposedly murdered. The nail in the coffin hit as soon as he saw his best mate cold on the fucking floor of his house. I can't have my life back, Andy, because that life doesn't fucking exist anymore." - Brumous, Chapter Eight: Occlumency

My old Incomplete Story idea
Hello I found this old outline of my fanfiction of Miraculous ladybug that I never completed or started it and thought that it is a good concept so I thought I should post this incase anyone is inspired on this.
Outline
Act 1
The akuma has trapped her and a lot of people in a building. Alix didn't know what to do but acted on instinct and saved Chloe from being crushed to death but causing her legs to break from the debris. Alix's adrenaline drove her into pushing a lot of people out of the building whilst Ladybug distracted the akuma and Chat Noir finally arriving to carry Alix out. With Alya managing to capture the whole ordeal.
Alix went to the hospital after Ladybug fails to heal Alix's injury. She found out that their is a section within the hospital dedicated to akuma victims. Not being able to walk or possibly run again ruined her. Causing her to project her anger towards her classmates and friends that visited her. Alix's distress is centered around her future self be a hero and the possibility of her being unable to walk ever again.
Alix's comment to Chloe not being worthy of being called a hero and seeing the injured drove the two into creating a bet that Chloe can't be a good person until her legs is healed. Chloe retaliating with her bet that Alix can't live in her shoes and have media's eyes on her.
Act 2 part 1
Feeling guilty about her injury Adrien tried to compensate by giving her lavish gifts and Marinette trying everything she can to make her life easier with the cast on. Alix felt annoyed by their actions and only cause insecurity to rise.
Chloe began learning how to take care of Alix and tries community service which Alix enjoys Chloe's suffering greatly. But Chloe's revenge came in a form of Alix being put on the spotlight by media for being the representative of akuma victims that Ladybug hasn't cured. The two began to see the other in a different light as they continued to hang around each other developing a friendship.
The duo see the community's heroics overshadowed by Ladybug's heroics. But their classmates began seeing the affect the duo has with people and their growing social media influence. Their classmates tries to push the duo into putting Ladybug into a bright light but Alix instead showed the media the truth and voice her wavering opinions on heroes as she experience more of the adult world.
The conversation she has with Chloe live on stream caused a stir to the community of why hawk moth doesn't akumatize criminals and crazed minded but instead goes to emotionally driven teenagers and easy to control people. With their conversation ending with the possibility of it all ending if the heroes just give him what he want.
Act 2 Part 2
The duo encountered the past of Hawk Moth being a secret agent from the government and the crumbs they have left behind. The duo discovers the corruption within Paris as they uncover dark secrets of government officials. With the government pushing Hawk Moth into the dark side.
Chloe began realizing how much of a horrible person she is by seeing the consequence of her decisions and tries to make up for it with Alix by her side. Alix uses her growing popularity she used to put those grounded heroes into the spotlight and show light to the shadows Ladybug and Chat Noir has casted.
The both of them got pushed into an uncomfortable position when ladybug haters began to rise as the public began noticing Ladybug's fatal flaws. With the both of them being represented as Ladybug's victims. They couldn't do anything but watch as it became popular to hate on the young two heroes.
Chloe began forming a secret akuma squad dedicated into helping victims of an akumatization with Chloe learning how to be a good queen bee whilst Alix began learning how different events affected people.
Act 3
The Alix went to the past to stop Hawk Moth from falling to the dark side
Alix broke time that cause her to be trapped in time as consequence for destroying time. Future Alix new this would come after all she experience it herself but it is now her time to assist the young Alix from her damnation.
Events occurred that cause Emilia to be dead because of Alix before Hawkmoth could arrive. The gods and goddesses summoned Alix for causing a great offense.
Alix has a conversation with the goddess of time that the goddess took pity with her and showed her the right timeline overwriting Alix's changes. Which drove Alix into deeper despair as every single one of her memories never happened and events in her timeline never happened. So Alix begged the goddess into punishing instead she called all the miraculous holders to discuss the fate of Alix.
This event introduce Marinette and all of her friends into the hidden world of Miraculous wielders.

Dream Analysis: Security Footage
original blog post June 13, 2022
Tumblr media
had a dream that I saw my dad digging up a dog's body. Sometime later I went down to the basement where it had been buried originally and in chalk on the ground was written 'I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BODY I SAW IT ON CV' or something like that? I got really upset so I went upstairs and some neckbeard guy (like straight from the meme) came out of a home office and was like 'you gotta see this' and showed me the security footage. I remember panicking and thinking 'shit, I have to act surprised'
I did the 5 card(+ clarification card) influences spread with Tmikh (Alleyman's Tarot)
Influences
R King of Wands

Reflection:
A little bit of context is needed for this dream. In short, my dad was not a good person. He kept a lot of secrets and lied a lot so in the years after his death I have been trying to piece together the truth. In talking with my brother and listening to some of the experiences he has been having spiritually I was under the suspicion that my dad may be trying to contact me through him since I put wards against him. I did this reading after my husband had a dream about watching security camera footage in his dreams.
In this reading, Tmikh pretty much confirmed that.  The influences talking about losing power, huge ego, subjugation describes my dad perfectly. He demanded respect but didn't earn it. He may have had a huge influence on my destiny being my parent, but it is up to me to take off the blindfold and face my fears and learn the truth even if I think that the small victories don't matter. I was confused on the 'what to do' being so negative, but after talking it out with my therapist I think what Tmikh is saying is that I don't have to save him or help him pass over, that I should clutch my resources to my chest and let him struggle, I've done enough for him in this life and in the afterlife. It's time for me to let him face his troubles by himself and not spend too much energy trying to save other people.
Symbol Breakdown:
My dad digging up a body: Me digging through his past, him burying himself deeper in a karmic hole
Digging up a dog: Dogs were traditionally buried first in cemeteries to help the humans pass over. To me this suggests he can't pass over. He hated dogs and all animals and was abusive to our dog growing up. I have gotten prior knowledge through a trance that our dog  growing up was a guardian for my mom bust also protected the kids.
Basement with chalk writing: on a mundane level, her bones are in a basement right now. On a magic level, the basement suggests unconscious thoughts being brought to the surface by the digging. The chalk writing suggests maybe a message from my inner child? or A message on the surface.
Neckbeard showing me the footage: honestly I think this was my guide. I am working with Sai and Mouhi this summer and they both specialize on secrets, childhood healing, lying and self control. Sai usually uses the internet and music to talk to me, so I wouldn't be surprised considering the guy looked like the meme.

Healing and Identity
One of my favorite aspects of the fight between Noé and Vanitas starting chapter 49 is the fact, that Noé is saving Vanitas in the same way Vanitas saves vampires.
The influence of "The Book of Vanitas" leaves vampires in a state of abscense of reason and reflection, merely driven by destructive desires. As in: Drink blood.
Vanitas on the other hand is under the influence of Luna's words/hypnosis(?) and his own autosuggestion. He as well is merely driven by a singular destructive desire. As in: Kill "that Vampire".
Both, Vanitas and Vampires, are driven by the urge to hurt and kill. Things neither of them wants. This is especially relevant for Vanitas, whose free will is essential for his self image which is now stripped away from him. Furthermore, this loss of free will/control is tied to loss of identity. Both the curse and Vanitas' state of hypnosis are characterized by a dissolvation of identity. The Vampire's curse dissolve their identity and the sense of self. Healing involves self-recognization and reconcelation with ones own identity. This is portrayed especially prominently in Chloé's character arc, where the process of healing is tied to recognizing herself and her true wishes (to be loved for who she is). Chloé's healing involves also the recognition and acceptance of the positive feelings other harbor towards her. Since the curse corrupts the true name of the vampire and therefore their whole being, it can be said that the dissolvation of identity is internal.
In Vanitas' case he is no longer able to recognize Noé for who he is. Noé's identity desolves for him into the undefinded mass of "that vampire". Therefore the dissolvation of identity for Vanitas is external.
Both Vanitas and the Vampires are shown to be suffering in this state.
The importance of self-reflection and its healing effects are shown within the battle through Noé. He literally reflects himself and his behaivour by looking into a mirror. He is shocked by what he sees, being confronted with a side of himself he neither knew nor wanted ("Have I looked like this all the time?"). He as well is influenced and controlled by outside forces: Mikhail's thoughts and feelings.
Noé's own desperation towards Vanitas unwillingness to help Dominique in itself does not trigger the violence. On the opposite, Noé tries to reach out, wants Vanitas to tell him his past, so he doesn't have to drink his blood and calls his want for Domi to be saved as "selfish". Noé's own desperation grows, as Vanitas declines and lashes out and leaves no hope for agreement. So Noé attacks him - this is how it seems at first.
But Noé's inner monoloque reveals that his mind is mixed with Mikahil's destructive, harmful hatered and desire for vengance towards Vanitas.
It is Mikahil's feelings that make Noé fight and attack.
He knows this feelings are not his, but is unable to stop himself from acting according to them. Even though not as strongly manipulated as Vanitas and is still able to control his actions (stopping himself from attacks that would kill Vanitas). It is Mikahil's feelings that ultimately trigger Noé's actions, but it is Noé's own desperation to save Domi, snap Vanitas out of the hypnosis and his pure willingness to just survive that keep him fighting. But this means giving in to a violent side that he, who can't bear hurting anyone, comes in touch with more than he his comfortable. But in the heat of the battle, caught in the situation, under Vanitas' constant attacks, he is unable to notice. By looking in the mirror, Noé is finally able to pause and to reflect himself, his actions - and he reflects upon Vanitas. He asks himself "And how did you look?" Due to the reflection Noé is able to see Vanitas' pain, horror, distress and helplessness and sadness behind his cruel selfish facade. He recognizes Vanitas' loneliness, the meaning behind his words (in example: that being alone means "freedom" for Vanitas. Later, Noé reassures Vanitas - who is still hypnotised - that he will never "set you free" aka "never leave you alone".)
He sees Vanitas true feelings, his true self, his "true name" if you will.
Noé reflects and stops the fight. Breaks the circle of attack and counterattack. Chooses a different path to save Vanitas. The path not of violence, but of empathy.
What follows is that Noé reintroduces himself to Vanitas. Actually the scene reflects their first meeting with them physically fighting over how to deal with extreme life or death situation. An [in Domi's case seemingly] accursed Vampire to be precise. Noé always being the one to openly help and trying to protect those in need, while Vanitas using violence that cover his true intentions and his motivation becoming clearer only later.
The most important aspect of this reintroduction is Noé's wording here:
"My name is Noé Archiviste. I'm not <that vampire>"
He accentuates his name or rather, he gives his name back to Vanitas. And with his name his identity. Therefore he is able to reach Vanitas on an even deeper level than the hypnosis goes. But similar to Chloé, the acutal healing has to come from within, from Vanitas himself. This process is portrayed as an inner battle between what the hypnosis tells Vanitas and Vanitas will and his true feelings (even though he is not conscious about it in this moment, after all it is still worded as a question "why can't I kill?"). At the beginning, Vanitas still try to kills Noé. But he can't. Still under influence of the hypnosis, desperately asking why. He still can't. And he breaks down.
Both Chloé and Vanitas learned something through Jean-Jaques and Noé respectively: They are not alone. Someone is there for them, no matter what.
Overcoming the hypnosis is also overcoming the past and opening up for something, someone new. Something Mikhail is unable to. The inability of leaving the past behind driving force and central theme of this arc. In the end both Vanitas and Dominique are able to overcome the past. Just as Chloé did.
Both acts, Vanitas saving Vampires and Noé (a Vampire) saving Vanitas, are about the themes of loss of identity and loss of control.
While Vanitas gives the vampires their true name back (an internal process within the Vampire), Noé doesn't give Vanitas his name. But Noé names himself. Re-establishes his identity to Vanitas. It saves them both.
Both acts give form to the formless.
Both acts accure due to the reflection and re-recognition of ones own self and identity: the Vampires recognize their true name, Noé reflecting on himself as he sees in the mirror and Vanitas escapes the hypnosis. But it's not an isolated process, to the contrary. The importance of the other and the bonds with other people are essential for self-recognition: Vanitas is able to recognize the true names of Vampries, Noé understands Vanitas' true feelings behind his facade and Vanitas is finally recognizing Noé and espaces his hypnotic state.
While the process is given supernatural coating when it comes to the use of the Book, within Noé saving Vanitas the process is shown in it's rawest form and that is understanding and empathy.
Thanks for reading! Please note that english is not my first language and I'm sorry for this being so messy!!

-_- why are they so many shitty authors out there? not like in writing, but as a person.... engaging with really shitty and all-the-phobic people when their project (or them) claims to be supportive of minorities. or they are the one being all-the-phobic... even when faced with the facts, they pretend nothing is happening or like we are haters. it feels so bad cause their stuff is my fav games out there. i don't know what to do...
Hi Anon, Or should I say, Anons... since you were not the only one sending me this kind of ask. I'm bundling my answers here.
I can't tell you what to do... This discussion (separating the art from the artist) is a very personal one, and the answer will differ per people and/or per case. Some people separate the work from the author the moment they viewed it, some people cannot. Others will think about the links to the piece before making the decision, like: the extent the work was personal to the author, the extent their morals and views were included in the work, the type of action and gravity of said action the author did, the extent the work is important to the reader, whether revisiting the work after knowing a certain negative aspect about the creator changes the experience of the work... and that's the only aspects I can think of right now. As a result, some people will stop consuming content from that creator altogether, some will only consume without supporting the author (monetarily or promotionally), some won't stop consuming no matter what... There's been many videos and articles on that topic over the years by the way.
As for your first question...
🤷
I've been wracking my brain on how to answer this part. Had a lot of thoughts but nothing was coherent enough, or would flow in a way that made sense. So I tried to find all the common themes or the big points from them. Sidenote: not condoning hateful or phobic behaviour here, the points below are not excuses for shitty behaviours, I was genuinely trying to answer the why as objectively as possible. (hopefully your question wasn't rethorical...)
People characterise things differently (often influenced by their background and experiences). What is shitty to someone might be "normal" behaviour to someone else.
People have different views on things and sets of morals, which can sometimes explain why their actions can be hypocritical. Whether siding/engaging with [insert]-phobic people would invalidate their claim to be supportive of minority, they might not see it that way.
People don't like to be wrong or admitting they were wrong. It's hard to question yourself and your actions, only to find out how much hurt you've done, when it's much easier to believe the other person is in the wrong. oh the ego...
People who don't care about facts about a subject won't care if you try to debate with them (rationally or trying to persuade them). It sometimes will have the reverse effect (push them further into their position).
People don't like to be judged. On anything. Their actions. Their views. Their relationships. We can pretend that we don't, but most of us do at the end of the day. (And we can have very emotional/reactionary responses because of those)
People will often do things that will benefit them: promoting their project as minority friendly when they dislike them so they can get more readers, addressing something so it gives them brownie points with their community (or attracts more people to their side), not addressing anything with the hopes that it blows over (with internet moving on to newer things pretty quickly, that often works), or rebutting the confrontation by doubling down and invalidating the claim of the sender as troll (whether or not it is deserved), etc...
People are flawed. And hypocrites. And shitty. Everywhere.
Hope this shed a light on something? It probably won't, my brain is a mess...
[Old Comments in tags: I probably spent way too long on trying to answer this I really wanted to be objective on the question I don't want to dictate people's actions regardless of my position or views or thoughts I personally have trouble separating the art from the artist (and vice versa) /]

My opinion regarding the “Itaewon hunting” rumours of Jake from Enhypen:
-If you don’t know about the situation, just check on YouTube, some videos already tried to debunk the rumours.
•Not many will agree with me but… The guy did look like him since the hair were or similar colour and the wore very similar clothes Jake wore multiple times. Also, unlike what many people have been commenting; Idols may be monitored but they can and go go out alone once in a while. The manager isn’t always with them. Most times, yes, but not always. Remember that idols date and hang out at clubs or eat with friend sometimes too. Maybe they don’t get to do all these things multiple times a week especially if rookie or on their 2th year like Jake, but they still have a little bit of life too. So it could be him.
•If it was him, asking around for a lighter for cigarettes is bad. But that’s because I believe that cigarettes are bad for the user and anyone close to that person. Cigarettes may cause addiction and it is not advisable for singers and athletes either. And I know that many singers used(and some still use to) smoke to create some type of voice, but it will last only a few years if they are doing it often before any practice or show. It will cause them much worse for their careers than good, their health and voice might have a seriously hard time getting better. It is much better to learn emitting that kind of sound naturally by practice. Cigarettes are also uncomfortable for the people around as well, BUT not half as much if the person is distancing outside and not near kids or elderly people or people with health problems. “He can do whatever he wants” , yes he can but fans should be more considerate with the side effects of smoke and stop saying that without hoping that he could at least quit for his own well-being. Just because it is normalized, it doesn’t make it good. However, I do not believe that being a smoker alone makes him bad at all, well, as long as he isn’t one of those who shamed who doesn’t and proposes a cigarette to people and teaches them how to smoke, these people are a bad influence, not necessarily bad people but surely bad influences. Either tell people to stop invading his privacy or do that and hope for him to stop(without nagging him). Don’t just say that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it, it just justifies the person’s actions. (I am aware that it is said that most male idols smoke in secret).
Anyway, the thing I hated about that post that makes me believe it was fake was that the person commented that he was trying to “hunt” girls by asking for a lighter… the shamelessness inside of this bus is astronomical. I am aware that some men unfortunately do this but you can’t just group all of them inside of such a box for being smokers. I was asked a lighter at school both by girls and boys and absolutely nobody wanted to hit on me! They were unfortunately mid and heavy smokers. That comment gave the biggest pretentious vibes and I just knew that they wanted to portray Jake in a bad light as a maybe womanizer or even harasser (maybe even as a smoker because many people believe idols should be always innocent and not in an encouraging sense).
In conclusion,If he truly went around asking for a lighter , I hope he stops smoking but that’s it;I also hope that he gets privacy.
Jake was recently asked on Weverse if it was real or not, he replied that it wasn’t and that he hopes people believe him. I personally do, it you don’t,it’s on you but I don’t see where the biggest deal would be in and I do not understand how someone could believe that comment of him trying to hunt girls in the city’s streets.
To me it was all a setup by haters.

II. Alois is a lot smarter than most people consider him to be
Tumblr media
Part 1
I don’t see it often now (bc everyone forgot abt Kuro 2 lol) but back in the day, there were a lot of Alois haters and a repeating theme in their explanations was that he was “too stupid to be an earl”. Aside from the classism which I’ll detalize later, this statement is obviously not true. He’s extremely street smart at the very least. At a young age he learns how to survive himself and keep his brother alive, and he almost succeeds in that (the contract between Hannah and Luka wasn’t something he could control). We see him next at age 11-12 which means that he spent several years on the streets living alone. Judging from his demeanor when he just arrived at the Trancy mansion (apathetic, closed off, and cold), he lived all those years in physical survival mode. Fearing for your life constantly causes a person to disregard their existing emotional trauma but it still festers in the subconscious.
The “too stupid to be an earl” argument also loses its relevancy when considering how Alois managed to go from being a captive of the old earl that the latter despised from the start to getting deemed that man’s long lost son. Back in the 2010s some people in the fandom were calling Alois a whore because he apparently “smiled while being presented to the earl, meaning he enjoyed it”. Thankfully this isn’t a point of view I encountered often because besides the blatant pedophilia (keep in mind that he was 11-12 at the time), the time Alois spent as the old earl’s captive was an incredibly mentally deteriorating experience. He saw a chance to get out of poverty and escape potential death and took it, despite the taxing cost. It wasn’t like he went willingly, it was just the most logical (and honestly brave) thing to do given the circumstances.
Now, how this influenced him in his later years. Child survivors of sexual abuse may exhibit the following trauma reactions:
Angry outbursts
Anxiety
Depression
Not wanting to be left alone with a particular individual(s)
Sexual knowledge, language, and/or behaviors that are inappropriate for the child’s age
The first four are pretty self-explanatory but I want to analyze the last one in a bit more detail. Over the course of the entire second season we see Alois display behavior that can be considered as inappropriate, especially for a 14-year old earl in Victorian England. Everything – from his outfits to his behavior towards those around him is often seen as comic relief and yet another reason to slutshame this kid. I find it peculiar that Alois commences these actions whenever he’s actively pursuing a goal, like with getting Arnold Trancy to stop suspecting him, making Ciel leave the costume party unexpectedly, many occasions of this with Claude, etc. He's doing this mechanically: acting like that is how he escaped poverty, how he managed to persuade the old earl to give him a noble status, and I’m assuming it influences those around him because they’re so stunned by the unconventionality of it. I don’t think Alois was ever taught about how society standartly views sex and sexual behavior so his perception of it is formed solely by his trauma.
That brings me to another point which I’ll also elaborate in the classism chapter of this literal manifesto. For the duration of the season Alois was often referred to as “dirty” on several instances by those around him, from Sebatian and Ciel to random people. This point isn’t really an analysis thing in this chapter, we don’t see how this affects Alois on a deep level besides getting (rightfully) offended. I just thought it was kind of fucked up to insult a child who went through severe abuse, including sexual, and have that abuse define him in society. The old earl should be the brunt of society’s critique, not his traumatized victim.
Alois’s relationship with Claude, from a psychological standpoint, isn’t really that complicated. Here’s what an article by a therapy clinic says about how childhood abandonment trauma manifests in survivors later in life:
“Abandonment trauma leads to unhealthy relationships because the trauma survivor might become dependent on the other person for validation and love. As such, they will fear rejection or abandonment. The person suffering might not know why they are clinging to their partner, especially when the relationship is unhealthy or abusive.”
Claude saved him from the old earl and played a crucial role in creating Alois as a noble. His mind associates Claude with the freedom he received. The demon was the first being to approach Alois with no intention of harming him (not without a carrot before the stick, at least), and love-starved Alois saw him as salvation and a cure for all of his pain. If Claude made an effort to actually help his master psychologically, then maybe the entire story wouldn't be so grim, but Claude’s specific goal was the opposite. He deliberately destabilized Alois’s mental state so that “his soul would taste better”. Of course, Claude never hid what his intentions were, but from an ethical standpoint, it wasn’t a morally correct approach.
Alois knew all this, and I think he even accepted it, despite not wanting to. He gives off the impression of someone who’s aware of many things, but doesn’t show that outwardly. A compelling part of his character is that while he’s generally easygoing and sociable, and sometimes overshares to those around him, a lot of his deep feelings remain inside his head only, either because he isn’t aware of them consciously himself, or because he just doesn’t vocalize what he truly believes in (like the “they’re all just damn demons” sentiment he has about his servants on a few occasions, or the butterfly monologue in the OVA).
In terms of Jungian typology, he absolutely exhibits the traits of someone who uses extroverted sensing. You can read about the characteristic traits of it here, but I want to point out that individuals who use this cognitive function have a very “grounding” vibe in the sense that they live in the present and tend to tackle problems as soon as they arise, without mulling over them beforehand. This makes them very adaptive and easygoing people. IMO, the best example of this function in Alois is the beginning of his duel with Ciel. The latter puts all of his teenage noble pride into the entire duration of the duel. Ciel is giving it his all but with a stick-up-the-ass atmosphere to it. Alois, on the other hand, despite never having dueled before, just goes along with it casually, and manages to considerably hold his own before spiraling (remember the emotional hijacking thing? yeah…)
Alois seems like a very curious child. People who use extroverted sensing are often called “explorers” because they want to experience so much of the world. This definitely manifests in Alois: he expresses a wish to travel the world when talking with Sebastian disguised as a traveler, then shows interest when the man tells him about a mystery in the Trancy mansion. The duel with Ciel is also a good example of this, since Alois literally just improvised a challenging task that he was never taught how to do.
Another point of Alois’s intelligence is how he had to “make” himself into a noble within just a few years while those around him were brought up in that environment. We can see that he’s able to read and write, which is extremely impressive considering the fact that he was most likely illiterate until the age of 13. He has super nice handwriting too. Yes, Claude tutored him, but he wouldn’t have been able to grasp information, no matter how well explained, if he wasn’t smart himself. This also goes for learning aristocratic etiquette and other things he would’ve had to know as an earl. That brings me to my next point in his character analysis.

Purim: a Jewish holiday and wild ride from start to finish
So let me tell you about the absolute soap opera that is the Jewish holiday of Purim. The scene is set in ancient (appx. 4th century B.C.E.) Persia during the first Jewish Diaspora, in the city of Shushan (typically identified in secular sources as Susa, a now-abandoned ancient city in what is now Iran). I’m telling you, as a work of literature (even beyond theological implications for Jewish people), this book has everything: love, drama, royalty, intrigue, ego, plots, irony, mystery, and a strong female lead.
[some non-slur swearing below]
Ahasuerus, party-loving king of Persia executed or exiled (translations argue) his wife Vashti, and had to find a new queen. Why did he do this, you ask? Well, it really starts with an 180-day party across his kingdom for all his subjects to celebrate the third year of his reign. After that absolute rager, party-bro KA has another one immediately after for a week, this time just for the capital city of Shushan. Vashti was having a woman’s party in her quarters, presumably living her best life, when party-bro sends his top seven yes-men to deliver a message to Vashti. This sleaze-ball wants her to appear at his party in front of everyone, wearing her crown, with the clear implication being only her crown. Vashti more or less tells him to pound sand (I mean, not the literal translation, but that’s the sentiment).
KA’s advisors convince him that this is not only an offense against the king but also against all the men in the country (ah, the joys of ancient patriarchy and toxic af masculinity). KA writes a degree that women must respect their husbands so he has an official reason to get rid of Vashti. Vashti is soon thereafter out of the picture and the king is short a queen. Whether she was a Wise Lady With A Point Who Got Screwed Over or a Vicious Jew-Hating Adulteress Who Had It Coming has been a matter of furious debate for over two millennia (the Babylonian Talmud and the Jerusalem Talmud vociferously disagree on her). In any case, KA regrets it pretty quick and wants a new queen.
At the behest of his advisors (you know, since their last advice worked out soooooo well), KA had a big contest/forcible gathering of young women from around his kingdom and a Jewish woman, Hadassah, was the winner.  Hadassah was an orphan raised by her cousin Mordechai in the city of Shushan. Hadassah is more commonly known as Esther, because she changed her name to hide her identity as a Jew (at the behest of Mordechai). In any case, KA decided he liked Esther best and she became queen (it’s specifically mentioned both that he loved her most and that the palace staff liked her because she was nice to them-it’s unclear how much of an influence the latter was).
Concurrently, a wicked man named Haman was the top advisor to the king and the king would basically rubber-stamp whatever Haman wanted. Haman was a raging Jew-hater-this will be relevant later.
Some time into Esther’s reign as queen, Mordechai, who has taken to hanging around the gates of the palace to keep in touch with Esther, overhears a plot by two guards, Bigthan and Teresh, to kill the king. Mordechai alerts his cousin, and she tells the king. It’s recorded in the book of deeds and life keeps moving.
Some time later, Haman decides (after a promotion to head lackey) that he wants all to bow to him as he passes. Mordechai refused to bow to Haman every single day (citing that as a Jew he bowed to no man), and that did not sit well with Haman. So despite being prime minister and presumably having more important things to do, “genocide the Jews” made it to the top of to-do list. He didn’t like them before, and Mordechai refusing to treat him like a special snowflake was something he took really, really personally (totally can’t think of any modern politicians like that, nope). He told KA, who frankly doesn’t seem to ask enough questions, that there was a people disrespecting the king and his laws throughout the land, and could he pretty-please exterminate them. As a bonus, Haman would “donate” 10,000 silver kikar to the royal treasury (modern conversion vary, but all agree this an absurd amount on money).
KA handed him the royal seal to do so. Haman was feeling lucky I guess so he decided the best course of action was to draw lots to pick the day for the massacre. [Purim is lots in Hebrew, so that’s where the name of the holiday came from]. The message went out to all the provinces that on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, that they citizens and leaders should murder all of the Jews, young and old, man, woman, and child, rich and poor and take their possessions as spoils.
As this wasn’t exactly a state secret, the Jews knew and were quite distressed. The planned slaughter was like a year out, but what the actual fuck were they supposed to do? If you lived in Persia at that point that, the empire was functionally your entire world, unless you were fabulously/ridiculously wealthy and well-connected. Having several months notice the other locals and your rules were going to slaughter you and take your stuff isn’t particularly useful when there’s really nowhere to go.
In Shushan, Mordechai (who, although not explicitly in text, is in oral/Talmudic tradition a leader of the Jewish community) goes into mourning. He dresses in sackcloth and ashes, he weeps, and he fasts at the gates of the palace, as Jews throughout shushan and the kingdom are doing. Esther hears of her cousin’s mourning behavior and tries to send along nice clothes through a messenger, which he refuses. It is then that she learns of the decree. Mordechai (through the messenger) implores her to go ask the king if the Jews not getting murdered could be a thing. Esther explains that she could be killed for approaching the king unsummoned. Mordechai stresses the severity of the situation. Esther agrees to ask the king and tells Mordechai to have the Shushan Jewish community fast day and night (as opposed to just day as prior) for three days, and she and her handmaidens will fast too (no word on what the handmaidens thought of this).
On the third day, Esther bravely approached the king, asked him if she could request something. He said anything, up to half his kingdom (which implies to me that homedude, for all his flaws, was actually into her). Esther invited him to a party, where he and Haman would be the only guests. At the party she asks if she can another request. KA is open to it and she invites him to another party the next night. Party-bro king is obviously down and Haman is tickled to death at this second invitation.
He goes home to brag to his wife, Zeresh, about the invite and also to bitch about how angsty he is Mordechai is still alive (this angst reignited by passing him on the way home). Zeresh suggests he have fifty-foot gallows built to make Mordechai an example on, with the king’s permission, ASAP. Haman orders the building of the gallows, feeling secure in the knowledge that his bestie the king will execute Mordechai on them.
Back at the castle KA can’t sleep. He demands a bedtime story from the his records, because those will presumably put him to sleep. The story that gets read, ~coincidentally~, is of Mordechai saving KA’s life. Haman had sidled on up to the castle to speak to the king about killing Mordechai, and the king called him in. KA asks Haman, if he were to honor someone, what should he do? Haman is thinking “this is obvi about me” and tells the king that the honoree should be donned in royal clothing, and ride through the streets on a fancy horse with people someone shouting how great he is. KA is like great, love it, perf, go do that for Mordechai. Haman is not a happy camper but does the thing. After that, he goes home and tells Zeresh about it, who warns him that this is a very bad sign.
Finally, that night is the night of Esther’s second soiree. Haman and KA attend. The latter offers to Esther anything she wants, up to half of his kingdom. Esther asks that her life, and the life of her people be spared. KA is like “whomst” and Esther revealed it was Haman. At this point Ahasuerus.exe stops working and he takes a walk to the gardens. He comes back to see Haman begging Esther for his life, and KA thinks Haman is assaulting her. Haman was seized by nearby guards.
One of the chamberlains is then like, hey, KA, coincidentally there’s these super high gallows Haman just had built. Why not take care of the problem that way? (The fact that the random nearby chamberlain was like yup, that dude, hang ‘em in the morning, probably says a lot about how Haman treated most people around him, even more than forcing all to bow to him). KA orders it be done.
Not that Haman was around to be sad about it, but what happened next would have massively pissed him off, as his old job then went to Mordechai. Esther then implored of the king that the degree to allow the massacre of the Jews be reversed. The king couldn’t Cntrl+Z the order to murder-all-the-Jews, but he could issue an order that they could fight back. The proclamation was sent throughout the land, and the Jews were able to prepare. Since the royal decree had been amended, the governments (princes, governors, satraps) largely reformulated their plans accordingly, but plenty of Jew-haters still wanted to use the opportunity. The ability to self-defend meant that the communities weren’t massacred. In most of the kingdom, the Jews were now safe. Outside of Shushan, the fourteenth of Adar became a feast day.
Shushan was still not safe though. Antisemites were still out and mad (and apparently had not learned from the previous day), so Esther asked the Jews of Shushan to be allowed to defend themselves once more. Her wish was granted, and the Shushan Jews were able to defend themselves once more (so Purim is celebrated a day later in walled cities).
The story ends with the decision to write it down, and although there some debate on authorship, it is traditionally attributed to Esther herself cowriting with Mordechai.
Nowhere in the book is God mentioned. Nowhere is there divine intervention (at least not explicitly). Just Jews sticking up for themselves, being brave in the face of mortal peril, and a metric fucktown of chutzpah.

On Complexes and Burdens
Rambling about Scott again. Apologies if this isn't very polished, I got my wisdom teeth out and the meds kicked in right in the middle of this.
A lot (a lot) of criticism of Scott comes from the idea that he’s got a “Hero Complex”, and that somehow in the course of the show he’s just chomping at the bit to be The Hero.
It’s a very strange assertion, to me, because even in Season 1, it’s very obvious that Scott does not want to be in the position he’s in. He snaps at Stiles several times because, while he did receive what an outside would consider cool superpowers, it’s not something he ever wanted. He didn’t ask for the bite, and he didn’t ask for the burden that came with it.
When they’re sneaking into the parking lot to investigate the attack on the school bus driver, Scott bristles when Stiles complains about wanting to be Batman (the hero) instead of just the sidekick, telling him that /no one/ is Batman. It’s not about being the hero, but getting to the bottom of whether or not he had unintentionally hurt someone.
Again, when Stiles talks positively about his powers, (under the effects of wolfsbane) Scott snaps that Stiles is enjoying the situation too much. He’s treating it like a game, something cool to happen to someone, instead of what was a traumatic experience that left Scott with consequences he now has to deal with, and the responsibility he has to take for his own actions in everything.
In S1, Scott is directly involved because of Peter’s influence over him, and is part of the reason why he (and Stiles) poke into the deaths that Peter is causing. If Peter is using Scott to kill people, however unwilling, that puts the death on Scott. (And we can talk about accessories and how unwilling Scott is even when Peter uses his Alpha power on him, but knowing Scott’s personality, he would entirely blame himself. We’ve seen it before in the series, because Scott tends to place the blame of anyone getting hurt on himself.)
He’s responsible for it, in his mind, because there’s no one else to lay the responsibility on. The hunters and Derek and Peter certainly don’t take responsibility for the deaths caused by them, and to Scott, who we’ve seen is an empathetic individual, /someone/ has to. If the other options don’t, or refuse to, then it falls on Scott.
In Season 2, we carry another revenge plot, this by Matt and the Kanima, that Scott and the others try to solve. He’s not searching for people to save – he’s not a White Knight looking for damsels, and he’s not functioning under the hero complex so many complain about.
He’s a teenager who knows about this other world right under everyone’s noses. The adults who know of this other world and who Should be responsible to do something (the Hunters and Derek’s pack) aren’t doing much to help stop these murders, so Scott has to take up the burden.
The responsibility SHOULDN’T lie on the shoulders of a 16 year old, when there are adults who are capable and who have been aware of this world for much longer, but neither side seems to really care about the fact that, regardless of what these humans have done or not done, they’re being murdered.
None of Scott’s actions really paint him as the aggressive ~hero complex savior~ that a lot of Scott haters seem to think of though. He doesn’t go out of his way to prove he’s the hero – he doesn’t go up to the victims and demand they acknowledge them as a hero, he’s not putting himself out there for recognition or praise. He doesn’t ask for compensation, or accolades, or rub it in peoples faces, because it’s not about being a hero in his mind. It’s about being responsible, and bearing the burden for knowing of this other world and not being able to help.
In 3A you see it even more, because the sacrifices that Jennifer hunts down have nothing to do with the supernatural world, or with each other. They’re coincidences, and though obviously at the end the targets are personal, they’re still innocent people being attacked. In Season 4, with the deadpool, it’s even more evident, because Scott doesn’t know all of the people on the list. They’re (for the most part) just trying to live, just like he is, and they’re being hunted down.
It’s not selfish to want people to be safe. It’s not something to look down on when a character decides to do the right thing, to do the responsible thing, even though they don’t have to. Scott saves people, and he is a hero, but he certainly never considers himself as such, and it’s a shame that a conversation about responsibility and burden gets twisted to often into “Scott’s not a hero because he wants to be a hero so bad”.
I would offer instead that Scott’s sense of responsibility is a defense mechanism, probably because of his parents’ divorce. If things were as rough as implied in the show, there had to have been fights leading up to Rafael getting kicked out of the house. A child doesn’t understand those kinds of things, but understands that fighting is bad, and that fixing the problem will help make things better.
If he places the responsibility on himself, then his parents won’t be stressed, and they can be okay again. If he takes that burden onto himself, takes that blame, then things will be easier for Melissa going forward. If he works a job in high school he can make it so they have a little more money and they won’t have to struggle financially. Those aren’t the actions of a hero, necessarily. They’re a stopgap to fix things for people so that they don’t suffer.
(If you’ve watched Encanto, you’ve seen “Surface Pressure”. It’s not the burden of the oldest, but it’s certainly a burden I’m sure many people can relate to.)
We’ve heard it throughout the entire series, over and over again. Scott never wanted the bite, or everything that followed. Whatever benefits he got from it don’t hold a candle to the pain and suffering he’s dealt with, and the pain and suffering his loved ones have had to deal with. He’s not grandstanding, he’s not hamming it up to adoring crowds. He’s just trying to get by.
Scott McCall is a reluctant hero, and his actions are heroic, but none of what he does shows that it’s something he ever wanted to do, or be. He’s responsible to a fault, and he will carry that burden to ease it for others, but I wouldn’t call that a hero complex.

As someone who started with CQL and has read parts of the novel and seen parts of the Donghua, though I understand your problems with CQL (god knows that many factors contributed to it being a mess), I do still like that adaptation and think that overall, it’s faithful to the characters.
While yes, they may act ooc in certain parts, but the essence doesn’t change and I personally believe that it’s primarily the lack of reading comprehension and a bizarre need for grey characters readers nowadays have, that has resulted in horrendous and inaccurate interpretations and meta.
No matter what version, reckless or not, it’s obvious that WWX is paying attention and is well aware of the consequences. Only JZX and JYL’s deaths were a surprise and accident, and even then, they both, as much as I’d like to respect the fictional dead too, were actually the reckless parties and paid for it with their lives. WWX is a good, the most moral character in the series (with his only equals being his husband and the new generation they’ve influenced) and smart and powerful. He would be an overpowered Mary sue if his motivations and the consequences of his just actions didn’t end up the way they did. But whether he is that or not, that doesn’t change how spectacular yet clear he is as a character.
Tldr: Adaptations may have made mistakes, but the mischaracterisation of multiple characters is almost entirely on the new and warped ideas in fandom. IMO.
i think you're right in that mischaracterisation generally goes hand in hand with fandom in general. although in mdzs's case it's particularly... egregious
i have to disagree that cql remained faithful to the original characters tho. i'm not just saying this to be a hater, i also started with cql, with no background knowledge of mdzs at all apart from that it's a censored adaption of a bl novel. i also enjoyed cql at the time (although i watched most of it completely wasted during that christmas-new years limbo period lol). anyway, my overall impression of cql was that it was pretty goofy, though more meaningful that it initially appeared, and overall pretty entertaining despite its objectively bad production quality. my friend who introduced me to cql informed me that the LA stayed very faithful to the original story, and the only part it was missing was the romance. lol. anyway so i went into mdzs with that expectation and honestly it wasn't a great reading experience at all. straight away, wwx felt like an entirely different character to cql. he felt very emotionless to me at first (this can probably be partly attributed to the writing style of exr's tl which took a bit of getting used to). my impression of wwx from cql was that he was impulsive, and reckless, and emotionally fragile. actually i found him very frustrating & unlikable for much of cql because he kept fucking stuff up for no reason then genuinely moping abt the consequences. cql portrayed wwx's tragedy as a result of his own actions. cql!lwj just felt like a non-character, he doesn't seem to be able to tell right and wrong for himself (which i would argue is not really a factor of his original characterisation), all he seems to do in cql is react, he doesn't come across as even having his own thoughts and motivations, other than 'rules' and, later, 'wwx'.
anyway, my first read through of mdzs was unfortunately very messy and confusing because (not to mention all the plot differences) i kept trying to reconcile the characters with how they appear in cql, which is impossible, because they are entirely different. i don't really want to talk abt this at length because that would probably require me to rewatch portions of cql (🤢🤢🤢) but main points that i can recall which make cql!wwx so different to wwx are
(ambiguously?) committing suicide (while a-yuan was still alone in the burial mound...?)
not trusting himself, giving lwj his blessing to kill him if it came to that during the defection scene
reckless actions during wen indoctrination camp
using wens as target practice one minute then defending them from abusive jins the next
forcing lwj to drink alcohol in the cr arc
also honourable mention to cql!lwj who told mianmian to go inside with her baby because there was danger but said nothing to her non-cultivator husband. lol.
wwx's defection with the wens is a pretty iconic scene in cql, the fact that both wwx and lwj - why was he trying to stop wwx? - are so ooc does fundamentally change the essence of not only their characters, but the whole story. also there's chief cultivatorji. so much wrong with that.
overall i get the impression that the writers for cql didn't really understand the original characters or story very well. there was probably a lot of spinning wheels and throwing darts going on in their decision making process.

Celebrities’ sexualities/relationships, and what not to post where
I’m going to make an all-purpose, general post about this topic, because it seems like there’s value in making one. Anyone who’s been following me here or on Twitter long enough has seen me address this before but often in specific scenarios, but y’know what... let me just make a general all-purpose post too just to lay this out for the sake of my own sanity.
We all know this is a thing: people like to speculate on celebrities’ sexualities and/or participate in “real person fiction” (RPF), and that’s been happening since the dawn of fandom. On some level, I understand why; it's exciting to think a celebrity might be queer especially if YOU are. We all want role models & we all want that to be normalized, etc... and sometimes it’s a case of “like recognizes like”; queer people can spot other queer people. But whether or not one is “correct” doesn’t matter, and either way, celebrities' lives are not for our consumption. They do not exist for our entertainment or speculation. This kind of talk can get out of hand very quickly in a way that ruins the lives of real people.
So I am here to remind people to be mindful of what you say about celebrities, where you say it, and HOW you say it too.
For example: under no circumstances should you openly post things about celebrities’ sexuality or relationships on Twitter.
If you know this already, cool! Great! Good! Keep scrolling! But not everyone does know this, and either way, it’s always a good reminder–especially because people can get excited in the heat of a moment and these principles can easily accidentally fly out of the window.
Not all social media is “equal” or carries the same weight of potential real world consequence. Tumblr, for example, tends to influence little outside of here as long as the topic in question stays on Tumblr; AO3 fic stays on AO3, or at least it should. But Instagram comments or tweets do not exist in a vacuum or echo chamber the way people often seem to think, and often route back to the celebrities in question in harmful ways. Those platforms are open to the wider world in a way that can translate to very real consequence for the people being discussed.
What do I mean by that? A good example of how things can get unintended attention is what happened recently when memes about Misha Collins and Bill Clinton got out of hand, made their way to Twitter, and resulted in journalists writing articles that Misha felt he needed to address. On a more related note, recently Brie Larson made one offhand gay joke/reference in a personal Youtube video; it then trended worldwide and resulted in many articles too. There is now, unfortunately, high potential that she could be asked about and pressured about her sexuality in interviews in future. Did any of the people tweeting about those topics expect that to happen? Probably not, and yet it did. But these are good examples of how Twitter algorithms have vastly shifted, and keyword use is enough for things to easily and quickly trend outside of fandom’s intentions or control in ways that cause harm.
Putting any celebrities’ personal lives under a microscope, whether unintentionally or otherwise, is never a good idea. But it’s especially not a good idea when it comes to sexualities or personal relationships.
People will say “Shipping is just in the fandom! We know how to behave! What’s the problem? It’s never gone wrong before.” The problem is multilayered, but here are the main issues: the fact that nothing “bad” has happened before does not mean it never will. You can control your behavior, but you cannot control how other people–especially people who are new to your fandom–may or may not behave on the wider internet surrounding the topic of people's personal lives. Posting about it on main on somewhere like Twitter also inherently runs the risk of other outside parties seeing it, being like “what’s all this then?” and then picking it up and running with it further–whether that be ~haters~ or journalists.
People will also say “These celebrities know about this kind of fandom talk and they don’t care!” or “If the celebrities wanted us to stop this, they’d have said something by now!” To that I say: those are a lot of assumptions, when the only “assumption” one should realistically make is that we don’t know celebrities personally, we don’t know if they may or may not be actually closeted/unlabeled (which is their right!), and we don’t know what may make them uncomfortable while other things may not. The absence of "no" or "stop" isn't equivalent to "yes," nor is it citable as defense for questionable or potentially harmful behavior. Silence isn't blanket approval or consent, nor should it be assumed to be in any situation. Just because celebrities haven’t said in so many words “Please stop doing [this specific thing]” doesn’t mean they are automatically cool with whatever a fandom is doing, such as speculating about them or openly pointing out what they think they know about their sexualities or relationships. This includes posts on the wider timeline, or tweets and Instagram comments @ celebrities themselves filled with references or assumptions about their lives that are very not okay.
Even with something like Brie Larson’s situation... A celebrity making a joke or acting a certain way in one environment where they may feel comfortable or more relaxed–like a Youtube video, or a convention with fans, or anything else–does not mean that that celebrity expects or wants worldwide eyes on their behavior. And worldwide attention is what is always at risk on platforms like Twitter or Instagram.
Ultimately, overanalyzing and calling attention to people’s actions is how people who are allies can be made to feel awkward, or how people who are queer get outed or forced into labels. I literally live in fear of the day when some random journalist starts poking around specific fandoms/celebrities, connects the dots that are out there and are seemingly easy to connect, and then somehow makes their sexuality a topic of interviews. Once it becomes a Topic, it becomes nearly unavoidable for them. That’s what happened to Lee Pace; it’s how many people are forced to come out. At all times, queer celebrities are a stone’s throw away from having to deal with all of that in ways no one should, especially as they get more famous. If you care about any celebrity you like to talk about, or if you care about the privacy of real people at all in the ways you should (especially potentially queer people), this should be a point of concern for you.
So, in conclusion: be mindful. If you must talk about celebrities’ lives on something like Twitter, do it without using their actual names to avoid keywords, because they trend at the drop of a hat out of nowhere and that can ruin lives. Avoid deliberate repetition in your phrases because that’s how accidental trends are made. And, better yet, honestly? Consider just keeping that kind of talk to Tumblr/AO3, and preferably to personal private messages.
Your ability to fangirl/squee/celebrate a real person’s life is not more important than their right to privacy. Ever. This is not a petty topic and it is not “fandom policing” to say things like this out of concern. Acting from an abundance of caution is always the better way to go, because you lose nothing by being extra vigilant; the alternative of not being cautious enough comes with a high risk of negative consequence.
If we all just operate under the knowledge that talking about real people can translate to real consequences for real lives, and act with an abundance of respect/caution accordingly, then there will be nothing to worry about. And celebrities will get to live their private lives and (if this is applicable) be the authors of their own coming out journeys as they see fit, which is a right everyone should have.
From the bottom of my heart: just use both your empathy and your brain cells, please.

Here's the thing for all the double standards the MCU has Loki still did bad things and I think a good story would have had him finally fully admit that and stopped deflecting on others. That's what Loki needed to grow. Not learning to love someone else and not saying he's a terrible person. Loki knows he did wrong you can see it on his face and if he stopped using others misdeeds or his sad backstory to try to justify himself that would be development
The LOKI series doesn't even seem to actually care about his actions as it does just calling Loki a bad person. That keep punching down and telling him to shut up but they only talk about Coulson death and blame him for a death that's not even his fault. I think he canonical killed over 200 people in the Avengers but they basically NPC as far as the show cares.
How about instead of asking "Do you enjoy hurting people?" The question was "What gives you the right to hurt people."
The thing is taking responsibility and being held accountable are not what the writers think they are. They think if they grab a villain and punish him unashamedly to the point of him hating himself then that's enough pain and suffering and so healing and growth come right after, but that's religion (christianity to be more precise) not real life.
If you want your character to take responsibility you have to make them face what they did. Funnily enough that would be the first part of Mobius' session with Loki, the very beginning where he's showing him footage of Germany and NYC - because however painful it is for Loki to watch that he did it, he has to look at it, he has to face it.
What Mobius should have done afterwards is two things:
Have a chat with Loki in which he can express himself, what he thought at the time, why he did it, followed by not a single excuse or justification, what he did was wrong, full stop. Then,
Address the fact that the Mind Stone had been influencing him (and finally confirm to the audience just how much of an influence the Stone had on him) and acknowledge the torture Thanos had put him through.
Now this is the part where many fans claim we're coddling him but that's not true. Acknowledging the context of his actions is not excusing him, it's explaining him. If you want your character to see that what they have done is wrong how the hell are they going to do that if they don't understand everything about the actions they took? They can't!
You can't have the first without the second. You can't tell him "you're enjoying it" and "you took that guy's eye!" and "you lose a lot!" then ignore the situation he was in, the mental state he was in... what is he learning at that point? What do you truly want, for him to hate himself or for him to understand himself? Those two are very different things.
A villain doesn't take responsibility the moment he starts hating himself. And he's not held accountable just because you choose to throw him into a time loop where he will be humiliated and beaten repeatedly until he ends up kneeling on the floor and calling himself a narcissist.
They didn't need to break him down to get to the point where he's admitting he doesn't enjoy hurting people. The very moment he says that he should have been asked "so you admit you've been hurting people? Cool, let's move on from there" and then they should have gone through his file addressing everything, from the bad stuff to the good stuff. That's another thing they did wrong, they only mentioned the bad and ignored the good. Again, that's not therapy, that's punishment - no responsibility and no accountability whatsoever.
I too would have wanted to watch a session where Loki admits the bad things he has done, it would have been great for his character, it would have left the haters without any ammunition, and if that had been followed by an explanation of where he comes from, why he acts the way he does, what bad habits he has taken up along the way, and how much he wants to just be himself and stop thirsting for external validation that would have made me very happy. But that's asking too much.

Let’s talk respect. Let’s talk about the worst kind of bullying. Let’s talk pushing an agenda.
A person’s sexuality is an intensely personal subject - as it should be. It’s not ever something to ridicule. It’s not ever something to question. It’s not ever something to trash. People suffer both mentally and physically every day because of such harassment and abuse. Sam is one of those people. He’s told us as much.
I hope he laughs at the accusations. I hope he dismisses the cruel jokes. I hope he finds all the stereotypical comments to be completely absurd. I hope so…but I doubt it. I wouldn’t. No one has skin that thick.
It can’t be easy living under a microscope, having every single thing analyzed and dissected. He’s an actor. He’s a star. He’s famous. Yes, sadly, such harassment comes with the territory. That doesn’t make it hurt any less. And No, he didn’t ask for this.
FOR THE RECORD- Sam has been asked about his sexuality. He has answered , several times. Case closed. End of story. Done.
Yet, people persist with hateful claims. Sites such as DL are cesspools of vicious lies and innuendo. There are wee corners of tumblr that thrive on pushing this false narrative.
ANYONE WHO REBLOGS ANYTHING FROM DL is SICK
It’s not fun. It’s not something you do from boredom. It’s vicious.
It’s bullying at the VERY worst level.
I’m taking to YOU… MEOKEOB
I’m talking to YOU - CANT-RESIST-TEMPTATION
I’m talking to you- BOOTSAUCEPUNK
I’m talking to you - MYLES SANCHEZ
I’m talking to anyone who thinks it’s fun to question and mock something that is so very serious.
I’m talking to anyone who gets their entertainment by thinking these trolls are funny. There’s nothing amusing about mocking another human being. EVER.
My purpose of this blog is to hold the haters and trolls accountable for their words and actions. I’m tired of simply blocking and ignoring. It’s WRONG. If more people would hold them accountable, they would crawl back under their rocks and shut the hell up.
These haters and trolls are grown adults who have nothing better to do with their lives apparently than to ridicule a man who is simply trying to live his life the best he can, entertain people with his craft, and help others along the way. He’s a brother. A son. An uncle. A friend. He’s a human being.
They make up lies. They perpetuate others’ lies. They start rumors. They influence people who believe their FAKE narrative …all in the name of fun. They hurt and soil the reputation of another…because they’re bored.
The never ending gay agenda needs to STOP. The harassment needs to STOP. Sam has answered you, not that he should have to. It’s actually none of your f’ing business. But he DID answer you.
Furthermore, the stereotypical innuendos are insulting. What one wears isn’t an indication of sexuality. A limp wrist isn’t an indication of sexuality. Being socially insecure isn’t an indication of sexuality. Having close friends of the same sex isn’t an indication of sexuality. Liking certain music isn’t an indication of sexuality. The list goes on and on. It’s total BS.
So I ask others to help me hold these trolls accountable. Enough is enough.
