Hot take but... Blue Eye Samurai isn't and shouldn't ever be Mulan... like ever. I know the writers took inspiration from several pieces of media like Yentl, Lady Snowblood but Blue Eye Samurai is Blue Eye Samurai. There is no crossover. Tropes shouldn't carry a story, characters should. If they wind up in trope games in s2, it would be such a loss.

Ok, so people still know how babies are made? You know it isn't different in Hollywood, right?

Has our sex education been whittled down so much that people don't understand that just because one problematic couple in Hollywood is having a baby, that it doesn't necessary spread to other awful PR couples? It's not like a cold or measles, for those unvaccinated dummies. Her black magic can't just conjure up a demon spawn. There is one key activity needed to produce an offspring and based on how these two kiss, if the little Nazi did find herself with child, I bet you dollars to donuts it is fake or not her hubby's. But don't take my word for it, though. Let the little Succubus's vape pen at the end of the VF debacle or the many drinks she shared with friends tell you all you need to know.

(By the way, if the plan is a fake pregnancy, prepare for a special place in hell. I have had too many friends struggle with infertility and miscarriage to not think of their agony and heartbreak for you to use that for a cruel stunt.)

Temporary returning to Tumblr again. In the process of deciding whether or not to make this or my Mastodon account my primary Twitter replacement while I protest the unrightful renaming of the site to “X”.

To repeat what I said earlier over on my Mastodon account:

First: I’m not planning on leaving Twitter permanently, just for as long as I feel I can keep up a protest against the name change. Second: My old stuff on Twitter will remain up there if I do end up leaving for good with an announcement post with links made beforehand. Finally: I will make an effort to post some older content elsewhere, mostly YouTube and Instagram, no matter what.
