ok kinda embarrassing that as The Fischl Guy I haven't looked into her story more but

This sounds A LOT like Lumine went to Celestia or the Abyss, questioned their authority, and was tainted, becoming the Abyss Princess. (btw for consistency Aether is the MC, Lumine is the Abyss Twin in this post)

Perhaps the King of Ravens could be Dainsleif? They traveled together before, right? And though I doubt they still have contact I think it's possible that his duty to Irminsul will end up in her favor (perhaps cleansing her).

see Dain's official introduction, it mentions a strand of blonde hair, likely that of Lumine. She's now his enemy who he will have to kill or save.

Every nation we've been to so far has faced some sort of catastrophe, and it's obvious there's war with Celestia on the horizon. And what nation are we going to see last?? Khaenri'ah/The Abyss.

We know little of Dainsleif's actual duties as "Bough Keeper" but considering he's associated with both twins and Irminsul itself I think it makes sense he's Oz here. Although he's not Aether's companion, Flowers for Princess Fischl isn't 1:1 to canon (considering Princess Fischl doesn't even have a twin).

That would make Aether the one currently acting as Princess Fischl.

Lumine says herself she's already been on this soul gathering journey, but she was unable to cleanse the darkness herself. I'd assume this is because she can't be Princess Fischl alone, as she and Aether are two halves of a whole. Their constellations reflect each other and they're interchangeable in the narrative.

Also Aether has shown off his cleansing powers with Dvalin's tears all the way back in the beginning sooo... Seems it's gonna be his job to cleanse Irminsul alongside Lumine and Dainsleif.

Now you may be thinking wait but what about Paimon she's been here all along?!

I think Paimon is the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles tbh. People are like "noo that's too obvious" but if you look at how Nahida was reverted to the form of the child and the symbols on Paimon match the Unknown God it's just... blatantly obvious.

She's probably so placid right now because whatever Aether is doing is something that has to be done. Maybe once she resisted fate but now that she's been factory reset she isn't part of the "fate resisting royals" ie Celestia. Aether is simply walking the lines of fate as they're supposed to go.

All in all I think this is a "Rose Quartz is Pink Diamond" situation where people think there must be a deeper secret going on instead of being able to accept the obvious answer. There's a name for this fallacy but I always forget and just think of the Pink Diamond thing.

so yeah whatcha think? I havent actually read the ingame books yet and I'll probably write about them once I do but for now I think it seems Fischl's story is meant to tell us about Aether and Lumine's.

THE BROTHERS MET THE UNKNOWN GOD

NOTE: OBEY ME X GENSHIN IMPACT

WARNING: CURSING and SWEARING Ft. The Brothers (except Satan), Lilith and the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles.

Synopsis:

To save the man she loved, Lilith committed an unforgivable sin against the Heavenly Principles and she was condemned. To save their sister, Lucifer, Mammon, Leviathan, Asmodeus, Beelzebub, and Belphegor rebelled against the Celestial Realm’s authority. Father crushed their rebellion immediately. All the brothers and those angels who followed their rebellion were condemned to everlasting pain and misery.

Story:

Lucifer’s rebellion was crushed. Father was omnipotent, no one could defeat Him. He was the Creator of Heaven and Earth, and everything in the universe. Yet, for his sister, Lucifer rebelled against his Maker, knowing full well he didn’t stand a chance and he was a fool for doing that. But his heart told him it was the right thing to do, even if it costed him all things he had in the Celestial Realm.

As Lucifer fell, he saw his brothers and his comrades, one by one, fell from Heaven, like lightning. Their forms began to change, horns started to appear on their head, many had their wings disfigured, others lost their wings and gained a tail. All were headed for one destination - the Devildom.

As Lucifer fell, he looked up to the Heaven, this might be the last time he was allowed to see it. His last appreciation of the Celestial Realm was soon replaced by hatred: hatred for Father, for His Angels, for the human He created and loved so dearly. It was because of a human that Lilith brought ruin on herself.

“Wait, is that...”

As Lucifer was falling, he saw Lilith fell from the Heaven. He also heard the screams of his brothers. the twins Beelzebub and Belphegor in a distance. Using his remaining strength, Lucifer caught Lilith, his youngest sibling and only beloved sister, whom he had doted so much on. That was when he saw the arrow that had pierced her heart.

“CURSE YOU, FATHER! YOU, YOUR ANGELS, YOUR HUMAN AND ALL YOUR CREATIONS! FUCK ALL OF YOU!”

Thus Lucifer’s hatred for God and His creations caused him to curse his Creator for the first time as he fell.

Most human weren’t aware of what happened. To them, that day, several lightning struck from Heaven to earth. Many had to find shelters because they feared the lightning would strike them. However, some prophets and hermits caught a glimpse of what happened. They saw Lucifer fell to Hell like lightning, along with many other angels.

“And he [Jesus] said to them: I saw Satan like lightning falling from heaven.” (Luke 10:18 - DRA)

“Ugh...damnit! No...it can’t be...?” Lucifer embraced Lilith’s body in his arms. He knew he couldn’t do anything to save her. Tears were rolling down from his eyes.

Standing beside Lucifer, Mammon stood, his eyes had no life in them. If one looked closely, they could see the tears had all dried up. The fallen warrior had no more tear to cry.

“Please, Lilith, please wake up! Open your eyes!” Leviathan cried, he was holding Lilith’s hand, which gradually turned cold.

“No!” Asmodeus’’s appearance was disheveled from all the tears and sweats of the battlefield.

“It...it was all my fault. I couldn’t protect her!” Beel knelt down and punched the ground. He kept punching it until his fists were covered in his own blood.

“If...if my eyes hadn’t met Beel’s back then, he would have protected Lilith, instead of me. IT WAS MY FAULT, ALL MINE, I SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE ONE DYING, NOT HER!” Belphie screamed on top of his lungs.

As the brothers were mourning Lilith, they didn’t notice a black portal opening on the empty sky of Devildom.

“ARROGANT ANGELS!”

All looked up and saw a white haired woman floating in the middle of the sky.

“Wh...who are you?” Mammon shouted.

“The Sustainer of Heavenly Principles” the woman replied.

“What do you want? Go away before I annihilate you!” Belphie growled.

Beel got up and used his body to shield Lucifer and Lilith.

“She, who was the cause of your fall, I’ll take her away.” the Sustainer said.

“OVER OUR DEAD BODIES!”

Five brothers, except Lucifer who was still holding Lilith, dashed towards the Sustainer in their newly demon forms and attacked her. They didn’t bother to wipe the tears on their eyes. It was like they didn’t care about anything anymore, including themselves. The only thing in their minds was protecting Lilith, their beautiful sister.

The Sustainer didn’t move an inch, from her hand, strange black cubes began to appear and trapped the brothers.

“Huh, what!?”

However the brothers tried, they couldn’t free themselves from the cubes. Soon, all of them lost consciousness.

“So you are the one Father created to replace me.” Lucifer said as black cubes began to surround him and Lilith.

The Sustainer didn’t reply. Gritting his teeth, Lucifer stood up and dashed towards the Sustainer. He took out his sword and began to attack her.

“An arrogant and foolish beast!”

Lucifer was also no match for the Sustainer. His sword was soon trapped in the strange black cubes. Lucifer abandoned his sword and began to rely on his new demon power. Yet, the black cubes kept absorbing his attacks like they were nothing. The black cubes connected to form a large black serpent, it coiled around Lucifer and soon trapped him in its grip.

As Lucifer was struggling to escape, he saw hundreds of black cubes surrounded Lilith, and soon she disappeared. It was like some transportation magic.

“G...give me back...my sister!”

Everything went black.

The next time Lucifer opened his eyes, he and his brothers were already inside the Demon Lord’s Castle.

Genshin My AU Brainrot here we go~:

The Primordial One and his Shades didn’t kill the Seven Dragon Sovereigns: they actually imprisoned them in the hypostases cubes. They had to forcibly manipulate the elements and draw on the dragons’s natural elemental powers to create Teyvat and its people, as elements are the fundamental building blocks of this world and universe. Like the twins, the Primordial One is an interdimensional, universe and timeline-hopping alien from the same world as them- a Celestial Aeon who was responsible for the creation of the universe who hails from a different time and place, if you will- another homeworld.

The Seven Dragon Sovereigns are now the ‘angel’ counterparts coexisting on the opposite side of the coin alongside the Seven Archons (the ‘demon’ counterparts).

Aether mentions that Venti’s eyes are the color of the skies of his hometown- he actually means Celestia from his earliest memories, back when it was ruled by The First Who Came. Since his memories were wiped and his powers sealed by the Demiurge’s servant Asmoday (the Sustainer of the ‘current’ Heavenly Principles), he doesn’t quite have specific memory of his original world/home.

The Primordial One’s name is Phanes. The Four Shining Shades are Isatroth/Kairos (she/they), Erebos/Shiva (he/they), Eir/Thanatos (she/they), and Ishtar/Janus (he/they).

Phanes, true to their descriptions, is androgynous in nature (pangender, on a sidequest journey to collect all the pronouns), was birthed from a cosmic egg (which was the Big Bang), and has wings and a crown.

Phanes is rather rarely called the ‘Genshin’ (the Primordial God or the Original God in Chinese).

The Demiurge (The Second Who Came) actually defeated Phanes and their Shades (The First Who Came), withheld free elemental power from humanity and stripped the allogenes of their visions, powers and memories, and murdered the Primordial One and their shades before consuming them (like in Greek Mythology) to usurp their powers, and by extension, the eternal throne of the heavens.

The microcosm from the heavens was actually Teyvat’s equivalent of The Big Bang- the creation of the universe. Heaven and Earth existed as parallel planes of existence- sort of akin to Mount Olympus if you had to tear a hole in both time and space, or discard your physical form and/or astral project to get there.

Aether and Lumine are actually a unique species of Celestial Aeons- unlike Phanes and their four Shades, Aether and Lumine are actually the son and daughter, and by extent, the rightful heirs of Celestia, hatched from cosmic eggs just like him. Phanes manually created and birthed them themselves into their empowered divine physical manifestations, and loved his children dearly, spoiling them rotten whilst also raising them in his image.

Phanes also deeply loved his Shades akin to close friends and siblings, and the Shades co-parented the twins alongside them. They were separated from their parents at a young age, however, when the Demiurge attacked and destroyed what they loved- it greatly traumatized them to the point where they repressed such memories as they traveled from world to world.

Paimon was created similar to the way a Shade was created- from fragments the Primordial One’s essence, bones, blood, flesh and organs. She was previously the messenger of the gods, now assigned and hardwired to be the closest companion and greatest, most trustworthy friend of the twins- to protect and serve the future heir. Dainsleif betrayed Lumine because he wasn’t of the same origins as Paimon, and Lumine essentially had her memories corrupted further, trying to convince Aether that Khaen’riah was their home (even though Aether KNOWS it doesn’t look familiar in a deeply emotional way to him for shit).

Both Paimon and Aether have lost their memory, and thus are unaware of their true identities.

Aether never truly ‘knew’ Phanes, yet has subconscious recalling of his earliest memories with them that only resurface upon moments of extreme emotional grief or strife. He has memories of golden, feathery wings in the multitudes- a yolk breaking and flowing within stars encapsulated in golden, sublime radiance- the sound of laughter and cooing, a voice whispering to him tidings of joy and love so eternal, and much more. Scaramouche was a tad startled when Aether was writhing in so much agony, sobbing akin to a child and crying out for ‘Father’ to save him, hold him in their arms and tell them that Phanes would always love him and his sister like they always did.

No one in Teyvat knows that the twins are the children of Phanes, yet Venti thinks that Aether appears familiar.

Genshin Lags in My Computer

Like I fully expected this because the system requirements are higher but there's not even a menu to change graphical settings? Just jump straight to the first cutscene?

It's not much, but noticeable even during the main menu, some of the pillars and cloud slow down a tiny bit, so I know things are gonna get super lag once we reach Damage Per Screenshot moments

@cursedskull-666 can you go back to before the beginning cutscene started? just in case I want to stream/record it if my comp can manage to run it smooth

Thinking about in the end of the first Chasm story quest with Dainslief, the Abyss! Twin says they’re going to talk to the Sustainer Of Heavenly Principles (Unknown God) but the original Chinese text for Traveler’s Character Details says the following:

The original CN text: 维系者正在死去，创造者尚未到来。但世界不会再度灼烧，因为你将登上「神」之座。

Literal translation: The sustainer is passing away; the creator has not yet come. But the world shall burn no more, for you shall ascend to the seat of "the god."
