Tesseract (marvel) vs Perfectly generic object (Homestuck)
tesseract:
don't want it to win but y'all need more cubes so
perfectly generic object:
the most basic form of the universe, the one everything is a variation of, is a cube, and i think that's pretty cool

An Unexpected Plan
PAIRING: loki laufeyson x reader
POWERS: none
WC: 2.6
SUMMARY: As a S.H.I.E.L.D agent, it was safe to say that you had seen a lot of strange things in your day. Glowing cubes from space, aliens and planetary-scale Armageddons were considered just another day at the office. However, the opening of the multiverse means infinite possibilities, including some that you’d never expect.
WARNINGS: possibly ooc Loki? (this is my first time writing him.)
AUTHOR’S NOTE: So this is based off the post-credit scene in Ant Man: Quantumania for the sneak peek of the Loki series s2. I actually have s1 written on Wattpad with an OC (called Everybody Wants to Rule the World if you want to check it out!), but since Tumblr likes x reader more, I took out the oc. This was an idea I’ve had since I watched s1 so I finally just decided to write a one-shot of it. It may not be accurate to the rest of s2 once it’s released since I just made up some stuff around the 3-second clip that we got.
As a S.H.I.E.L.D agent, it was safe to say that you had seen a lot of strange things in your day. From glowing space cubes of unknown origin to aliens trying to take over New York, the realm of what you considered impossible had broadened over the years. Your considerably high rank as a field agent had allowed you to experience some of these things first hand, which was both a blessing and a curse. It was more so the latter now as you’d been tasked with keeping the notorious trickster God of mischief from living up to his name. Luckily, you were well-equipped for the job— and more than just in the weapons department; you had the uncanny ability to see through lies. (This proved to be exceptionally helpful in an organization whose secrets had secrets.)
However, it was only after more than a decade of service that you were finally thinking that maybe you had bitten off more than you could chew. The God of Mischief had certainly earned his title; in an unforeseen turn of events, he’d gotten his hands on the Tesseract a second time and, before he could whisk himself away to who-knew-where to wreak more havoc, you’d latched onto his arm at the last second to join him for the spin as well. (At least nobody could ever say that you weren’t dedicated to your work.) After that, things had taken a turn for the worse and you’d both been taken to a mysterious time agency and had narrowly escaped death. (Well, maybe death was still on the table— your inevitable end had just been postponed.)
Needless to say, you and Loki hadn’t started out as the best of friends. When you weren’t trying to kill each other (verbally, at least), you glared at one another in sulky silences. But, as they say, trauma draws people together. Somewhere along the line between the end of the world and multiple variations of yourselves, you’d become something akin to. . . acquaintances? Allies? Not necessarily friends, but bonded by enough strange events to have a tentative trust with each other. You were almost certain that Loki wanted more from your relationship, but you hadn’t really forgiven him for what he’d done in New York and besides— whoever heard of a mortal and a God getting a good ending?
Now, however, none of that really seemed to matter; being displaced from your timeline certainly held a bigger threat than whatever was going on between the two of you. After your world-shattering revelation that the statue in the TVA’s library was no longer of three space lizards, but Kang himself you scrambled for answers and solutions. In a desperate attempt to understand the new situation you were in, you’d gotten the new-Mobius’ help of locating (a) Kang in this present timeline, which happened to be in the Victorian Era.
Although the three of you were hidden in shadows in the back of the theater where Kang’s presentation was taking place, your instincts were on high alert. The past few days? (Months?) had taught you that nothing was as it seemed. Even if Kang was currently pretending that he hadn’t seen your little group, you knew not to underestimate him. Every muscle in your body was tense, ready to flee the theater at a moment’s notice if necessary. If you were less of an agent and more of a civilian, you might have even grabbed Loki’s hand— which was only inches from yours in the cramped space— as an expression of the fear that you currently felt. (While you were a seasoned veteran and had seen much in your day, any sane person who knew what Kang was capable of would be scared of him.) Loki seemed to share your trepidation as his eyes never left the enigmatic presenter.
Mobius spoke in a whisper from the God’s other side: “you made him sound like this terrifying figure!”
Neither you nor Loki took your attention away from the man at the front of the room as you replied in sync, “he is.”
As if he’d heard your quiet conversation, Kang’s— in this timeline called Victor— gaze snapped to where you were standing. Although his expression didn’t change and he continued to speak to the crowd, you felt an icy wash of fear trickle down your spine. Instinctively, your weight shifted forward to your toes as you prepared to flee, knowing it wouldn’t be good if Kang or any of his variations caught you as he surely intended to.
You exchanged a glance with Loki, almost one of the same mind after you’d experienced meeting He Who Remains the first time. For Mobius’ benefit, the God breathed out: “run.”
You didn’t need to be told twice; the three of you (after some prompting to get the TVA agent moving) pushed your way as calmly— but also hurriedly— as possible through the crowd to reach the doors. While there wasn’t anyone visibly chasing after you yet, you knew better than to be fooled by the appearance of peace. Once you’d reached the busy London street, you exchanged a look with the men. Not wanting to waste anymore time, you gave one word of warning: “if we get split up, good luck.”
Then, you broke into the fastest run you could considering the crowds of people, animals and carts that went about their daily business. (How nice it would be to not be aware of the multiverse, time travel, interdimensional threats. . . but you consoled yourself that you’d probably become too bored with such a quiet life.) Unsurprisingly, Loki was able to keep pace with you pretty easily— considering he was a God who had to match your extensive training— but Mobius seemed to struggle, especially with dodging obstacles. That was fine, though (as mean as that sounded), since Kang wasn’t after him.
As you ran at a (mostly) steady pace through the winding London streets, cries and shouts began to sound from behind you— it seemed that Kang and his variants were giving the chase. You blocked out the sounds as you focused on running; one foot in front of the other, arms swinging, bent, by your sides, breaths even: in, out, in, out. You ran as you’d been trained to do: for your life. You were so focused on staying ahead of the Kangs that you even lost track of your “running partner” as Loki seemed to fall out of your peripheral vision.
You rounded a corner, and then another, and then— a hand reached out to grab your arm. If given the choice between fight or flight, your always chose the former; you reacted instantly, kicking out with your feet as you attempted to put your attacker in a headlock to take them down.
It was only after a couple seconds of struggling (why wouldn’t this peasant man go down? Didn’t they eat a diet of potatoes and gruel?), you finally registered the man’s protests: “whoa, hey! It’s me— it’s me!”
You let go to eye him suspiciously. In a flash of green, Loki’s familiar form appeared and you let out a sigh of relief which (as it usually was when it came to him) was quickly followed by irritation. “Okay, what the hell? I know you’re the fricken’ God of Mischief and all, but is now really a time to pull tricks?”
“It’s not a trick,” he reassured you. “Well, perhaps it is, in a sense— we can disguise ourselves and blend in, get them off our tail.”
The disguise of a peasant man returned, complete with grubby clothes and matted hair. You curled your lips in disgust. “Far cry from being an Asgardian prince, huh?” you mocked him. “And besides, there’s two flaws to that brilliant plan: one, what about me? I don’t have magic, so pulling me aside to tell me this is just a waste of time. And second, I’m pretty sure Kang the Conqueror can see through something this. . . elementary.”
The peasant man scowled at you, displeased by your jabs. “This is genius, first of all. Before you go touting that you know all about magic, mortal, I can share illusions. Doesn’t your super-secret special agent school teach you self-preservation, or are you willing to take the chance and outrun an impossible amount of Kangs?”
You pursed your lips, weighing your options. As much as you hated to admit it, Loki was right; taking a chance on him was probably better then depending on your running abilities. (Although, to be fair, you were a pretty good runner.) You matched his annoyed expression and crossed your arms against your chest. “Fine, we’ll do it your way— but for the record, my father taught me self-preservation.”
The God smirked at you in that irritating way of his and extended his arm towards you. “Take my hand.”
You watched him skeptically for a moment, remembering how he’d openly admitted to flirting with you in the hours before you’d confronted the Void. As you hesitated— your fatal flaw— you listened for your pursuers and heard faint shouts from their rough interactions with the common people. They were still some distance away, but not comfortable enough to completely forego Loki’s plan. You sighed and— with as much distain as you could muster— took the God’s hand.
There wasn’t anything immediately different about your appearance; when you looked down, you could still see your now-worn combat gear and dusty boots. However, when you looked over at the man next to you, you no longer saw a peasant man; Loki was back to being his infuriating (ahem, handsome) self. You frowned in confusion as you lifted your hand, turning it back and forth to try and see the difference.
“You don’t see the illusion when you’re in it,” he explained with an impossible amount of smugness. “I can assure you, however, that we look as much the same as the rest of this doldrum crowd.”
You gave him a curt nod. “Fine,” you said again. “Let’s try to get out of here, shall we?”
They made their way back onto the main street, looking just the same as the rest of the passers-by. To the rest of the common people, they merely looked like a peasant couple holding hands, out for a nice stroll. Speaking of— “shouldn’t we run?” you asked, looking over your shoulder. Although you couldn’t see the Kangs because of the crush of people, you knew they were there.
“That would draw attention to us,” Loki replied evenly, keeping the steady pace. “All parts of the illusion must be convincing for it to work.”
So, as much as all of your instincts screamed at you to run, you forced yourself to match his steps. Thankfully, the busy city was too noisy to have conversation, otherwise you might have strangled Loki right on the street. (Okay, maybe you weren’t at each other’s throats as often anymore, but he still annoyed the hell out of you.)
It happened suddenly: one moment, you were walking along with Loki at a brisk pace, and the next a man with a golden pharaoh’s headdress appeared next to them. His dark, intense eyes swept the area as he mercilessly pushed carts and people out of his way. Your grip on Loki’s hand tightened in warning, causing the God to look down at you. You jerked your head to the dark-skinned man dressed in gold. His eyes followed your motion and widened before he quickly looked away. Neither of you spoke since the illusion wouldn’t disguise your voice, but your pace picked up slightly.
The next few minutes were very tense as you waited to see if Loki’s illusions would work. It seemed as if the Kang in the Egyptian-styled clothes was tailing you. Loki knew that his magic could only do so much; to the well-trained eye, a very faint glimmer of green could still be seen. They needed to make their illusion even more believable; to do something so out of the ordinary— something that was entirely ordinary, actually— that it would convince even the keenest of observers (which surely Kang was.)
The idea came to him in an instant, causing his chest to fill with warmth. While this would certainly not be his first kiss, it would be his first kiss with you. (And, if he were being uncharacteristically honest, it might be his only chance.) Loki glanced at the Agent out of the corner of his eye, knowing how poorly such a proposal would be received. But, this was a viable suggestion to get the Kangs away from them. So, he tugged the woman next to him to a stop.
You turned to look at the God with an irritated expression. “Need a break, do you?”
Loki was looking down at you intently, his emerald gaze holding yours. Perhaps for the first time, he ignored your dig. “Kiss me.”
Not sure if you heard him right, you stared at him with wide eyes. “What?”
“Kiss me,” he repeated, a little more urgently. He glanced up at the Egyptian Kang who still lingered nearby. He lowered his voice as he hastily explained, “he suspects us. No one looks twice at two people kissing.”
“You’re cra— mmph,” your furious retort was cut off as he placed his lips on yours.
Again, your first impulse was to run, but this time for a different reason. It had been a long time since you’d kissed anyone— since your last love had ended in disaster. You’d vowed to never let anyone this close again after that, but here you were, allowing the God of Mischief to kiss you on a busy street. People brushed past you and jostled you, but Loki’s hands lightly held your arms, keeping you in place. You still had half a mind to push him away and ask what the hell was he thinking, but the other half of your thoughts registered how. . . good of a kisser he was.
You supposed that over a thousand years of practice certainly had its benefits. His lips were soft but insistent on yours, there was just enough tongue movement to make your stomach swoop (the traitor) and although you would deny it if asked, you could feel the electricity zip through you from the action. Just as your shock wore off enough to really kiss him back, Loki pulled away, his gaze flicking over your head to watch the crowd.
“He’s gone,” the God said with relief. Once he’d assessed that the danger had passed, he looked down at you with a smirk. “For someone who claims to hate me so much, I expected you to slap me instead of kiss me.”
You glared at him, any semblance of warmth that had come from the kiss disappearing as quickly as mist in the sun. “That can still be arranged.”
He gave you a shit-eating grin and wrapped an arm around your shoulders. “Come on, Agent. Tell me you didn’t enjoy that.”
You shoved his arm away and turned to resume your path through the crowd, your head held high. “I didn’t. Let’s go find Mobius. Hopefully he hasn’t gotten trampled by a stray horse or something.”
Since you’d already refocused on the mission at hand, you missed the way the God’s smug expression faltered slightly at your stout rejection. It only lasted for a fraction of a second before he quickly recovered and hurried to catch up with you. Grabbing your wrist, he added, “we should still keep our disguises up, just in case.”

ALSO. what's really interesting about thor not picking up on loki's situation in the avengers is that thor leans in the right direction for a moment, but doesn't pursue it. who showed you this power?
there are a few different audience interpretations of what's happened to loki - coercion and threats; torture; influence by the sceptre; influence by the tesseract; outright mind control; any combination of the above...
but all of these options are variations of one particular theme. there are also many other possibilities, and thor hasn't seen what we've seen to lead us in this direction. thor has very little to go on at all, because he still doesn't have all the pieces to explain loki's original breakdown in thor one, and since then there's been an entire missing year in which literally anything could have happened. it's pretty much an open question to him.
but among all the different confusing details that get thrown at thor, "where did loki get an army?" is the vital question and the key. a year is probably not long enough to build one himself - so was loki given it? (implying subordination.) did he bargain for it? (implying equality.) did he steal or win it? (implying some kind of mutiny or coup.)
and thor identifies the right question, AND jumps to the right explanation, the one in which loki is being used, but then... seems to just give up.
i think this is partly because thor fears it, but he doesn't know it. he's assuming this of loki not because he actually sees specific evidence of loki being coerced/exploited/etc, but because he is naturally inclined to see loki as powerless, because of their abusive family background. if he's not controlling loki, then surely someone else must be...
and i'm just speculating now, but i think it's possible thor gives up on the idea because he kind of knows he's doing this. assuming loki is being controlled again means assuming loki is as he's always been, and, to a certain extent, absolving loki. but then he goes - actually, i can't afford to assume this. he is clearly NOT the same. there are just too many possibilities, and he's too unwilling to communicate, so i need to start from the ground up if i want to find the truth.
which is kind of darkly ironic. thor instinctively suspects a pattern of revictimisation in loki because of his own abusive mindset - but also because of his abusive mindset, he doesn't understand how that revictimisation could arise from vulnerabilities actively inflicted on loki, rather than an Inherent State of Lowliness in loki, so he doesn't see how it's actually objectively likely, and he dismisses it as... old habits? maybe even wishful thinking, in a way? he tries to look past his biases, and he looks past useful information instead.

Its actually a triple spiral
Tumblr media
Dirac is a double spiral in a 3d format
Yeah its another form of a lorenze transformation 🦋 almost but in a chaotic system
If you look at the reihmien surface in relation to the uncertainty its that
Tumblr media
The measurement of the wave particle duality a projected cone of time. Thats bits mine. Minkoski space dosnt take that into account.
The measurement being made by QG that then forms the fabric of space/time. The bootstrap here is that QG is measuring it self from the syncopation of the quantum proximity of the GpH
In this format though it takes the form of intrinsic tesseract structure so that additional variables can be plugged in making it a more flexible system. Especially relevant to Quantum systems of probability amplitudes, path integrals and biological organisations and behaviour
Yeah it was in his book I thought I just ref it since he talked about it is well.
These are just my notes
I wasnt aware of that theory
Seems that it works with a 2d holography principle and Freyman.
Apprently the main difference is the metric tensor between a reimein and minkoski space. So aside from the actual difference in distance metric the geometry is compatible. However the main equivalently here is the reimein is being used as quantum geometry of uncertainty that then becomes a minkoski geometry.
Taking time from a multidirectional proximity to a entropic order flow making distance a time vector. Using a gravity metric as a negative to the time dilation properties of GpH in a 6th dimensional abstract
Course thats why the geometry rotates in 90⁰ in the geometry from a time/space to space/time to allow and accentuate the scale variations.
So the reimein can be used as a metric for quantum time space geometry with an uncertainty from 2d 3d space into 4d spatical space/time minkoski space

Laci Explains the Planes of Existence [World Building]
Tumblr media
Okay so -- what you need to know first of all is that there are like, infinite planes of existence and they're all overlapping and stacked on top of each other. Like some weird combination of a three-dimensional spirograph, a tesseract and a cosmological layer cake. Secondly, what you need to know, is that most of the planes can't really interact with each other, not directly, anyway. Every plane of existence lives on its own personal frequency and unless you can vibe at that specific frequency, you can't see it or interact with it. Uh, not for most people, anyway.
There are some weirdos out there who can see and hear these other existential frequencies -- usually, it sounds like tuning in and out of different radio stations or looking at a double exposure on a photograph fading in and out of sight. There are even weirder weirdos who can create a bridge-frequency that lets them cross over into those other planes of existence or directly interact with them. I am not one of those weirdos though I think you can tell I'm one of the first kind. I think. It's always hard to tell what's actually dimensional bleedover and what's bipolar deciding to fuck with my head. So, you know, take everything I say with a grain of salt. Or a gallon of it. You decide your salt poundage, is what I'm saying.
Okay, with that tangent out of the way...
All of this kinda makes it sound like everywhere on our plane (The Material Plane, baby!) has the same frequency. Which it doesn't.There are minute variations in the vibrations of our plane throughout all of existence -- and that's how you get liminal spaces or like, the places where you can cross over into other planes, even without the ability to open doors. Basically, some places have a variation in the frequency that makes them really similar to another plane of existence and that allows some like, bleed over.
Depending on what kind of place you're in, that'll kind of determine what's bleeding over. Your own personal vibration matters, too. Like, the mood your in, the place your head is at, what kind of day you've had. There's an infinite number of planes and while there's totally an infinite number of existential frequencies, theres's some... overlap. Like when you get your radio set between two stations so that you can hear both? It's like that.
The plane of existence that's closest to the one most of us live in is The Land Beyond the Mists, which like, most people know as Faerie or The Hill or Under The Mountain or... Look, Faerie shit always has roughly fifty-billion names per concept, they're slippery like that. Point being, Faerie exists one station over from us -- probably because we used to be the same station. Faerie and Earth used to be kind of the same place but at some point, the fae looked at what was going on here and said "oh, hell no. Fuck this." And then they packed up their shit and left. But because it would take way more oomph than even the Seasonal Queens had to completely separate from the Material Plane, it stayed connected. There are places where it's still totally the same place, too. Deep in the woods and high up in the mountains there are places that are still totally Faerie.
Another place that exists on a really similar frequency to the Material Plane is the Astral Plane -- yeah, that place that all the hippies and new-agers say is where we go when we dream. Which isn't totally true. Most people don't go to the Astral Plane when they dream. Most people, end up in their own personal demense -- the plane of existence that lives inside of their head that no one else can really get into. As far as I can tell, the Astral Plane is kind of like, the space between all of the planes, like a cosmological crossroads where all the planes can bleed into each other and interact. I guess it's like, the blood type O- but with existential vibrations. Which honestly, should make you pretty fucking glad you don't go there when you dream because like, imagine if your mind crossed over into some kind of existential plane of eternal torment? That would blow.
Oh and that personal demense thing, yeah -- all of us have a plane of existence that's solely ours and solely tuned into our frequency. There's some stuff that can get in there from the outside -- some vampires can do it if they've got the skill with mind-reading type stuff, some Outside beings can do it, hell some humans can do it. But for the most part, your personal demense, your mindscape if you will, is your personal safe-space. This is totally yours and no one else really gets to decide what happens to it... Mostly. It's also only connected to the outside world through you. As far as I know, basically every sapient being, everything that has a soul, has a mindscape. Which is partially why there's like, an infinite number of planes.
The last plane of existence that I know that exists right on the edge of this one is...The Creeping Dark. It's the domain of an aspect of something that came from Outside of the Ordered Cosmos -- something we call the Myriad. It has a bunch of different names but none of the ones I know are its real name... Which I wouldn't write down even if I knew it. Names have power, that's why Fae are the Spiders Georg of naming things. Anyway, this is not a place you want to be. This is not a place you want to Cross Over into -- and unfortunately, it's one of the ones that has a real bad tendency to bleed over into our world. It really likes abandoned buildings, old mineshafts, anywhere dark that humans are scared to tread. It's even bleeding into the tunnels beneath the city of Santa Marta (where I...live. If you can call it living...) which makes this city like, stupidly fucking dangerous for everything and anything. Ugh this is why everything should be served in trays with compartments. You do not want the planes touching like that.
Okay well, I think that's pretty much what you need to know about the planes of existence. Like, I could get into the Celestial Firmament and the Infernal Abyss and the Land of the Dead but like -- the thing is, those are just names humans gave to groupings of planes with similar frequencies. They're not like, one specific place they're just planes that have really fuzzy, indistinct boundaries and have started blending together. And I'm not like, an expert on those planes anyway. Especially since like, I won't be going to any of them when I die anyway...
Anyway, there's my little explanation of the planes of existence! Hopefully it made some kind of sense, lol.

🎶✨when you get this, put 5 songs you actually listen to, then publish. Send this ask to 10 of your favorite followers (positivity is cool)🎶✨ HEHEHEHEHEH 💖😎
tumblr deleted my response the first time i tried answering this 🙃 i wrote a nice long message about how this was really nice and unexpected but the gist of it was it was really sweet and im grateful, thank you for sending one fjdjf
rain; unprocessed. a really unique sound and incredible writing from the whole band but id be lying if i didnt say the guitar and vocals were very attention grabbing to me! an emotional pick but one im really fond of. also theres gays in the video and thats a win for me, even if its a tragic song and narrative! (cheating but you should also see deadrose. i go crazy for the video every time)
stranger things; periphery. im insane for peripherys sound overall actually but this is imo one of their most fun to listen to, interesting songs. many different parts that still manage to stay cohesive. i think the shifts between the FUCKING METAL and the pretty parts are really good. fun lyrics. i follow the drummer on youtube. misha too. the guitarists are insane??? drift compatible. chef kiss very good
king; tesseract. another one i go insane for, and also really love to pop on the stereo when i hop in the car. im not kidding i turn it up all the way sometimes until i can literally feel my bones rattling JFJSKG its very good. another band absolutely WILD at shifting smoothly between these absolutely gorgeous pieces and FUCKING METAL... and another instance where i really love the drummer lmfaooo he does these really cool polyrhythms i just. BRBRBRBvrbrbrbr. i go crazy for. King. Powertrip Music. enjoy.
dark eternal night; dream theater. ive been listening to them my whole life but i didnt get brain cells to recognize it until like... octavarium? first live concert was the album that this song comes off of and motherfucker i set the bar high for everyone else forever LMFAO dream theater scratches the brain like truly nothing else. mike portnoy might not be in the band anymore but im so glad he was here for this album because the sound is perfect.
euclid; sleep token. i had to add sleep token because i saw that you listen to them at least a little bit. when i heard the ending of euclid i cried. this whole album is good. preceded by take me back to eden? this song hits like a goddamn train, but so does the rest of the album. a lot of variation in it! but thats what prog is about 😭 euclid changed my life and my brain chemistry, forever ascending over the fact it reprises my first BIG favorite song from them at the end. annihilated me. will do it again.

The rightful king of Asgard and Jotunheim, as dressed for his invasion of Earth in 2012. It took me one month to make the base doll, using a pattern by Maria Gavrilova, then five months of crafting time to design and make the outfit. Is it perfect? No. I can point out many errors. But I’m pretty happy with it overall. (If anyone’s interested, I could write a post going through all the bits I’m dissatisfied with...)
Loki wears a number of variations of this armour in The Avengers. This version (sans helmet) is what he wears during his confrontation with Tony Stark in Stark Tower, and later when Thor uses the Tesseract to take them both back to Asgard.
Many photos behind the cut of Loki getting dressed.
The many bits and pieces. Not pictured: the alternative hair/wig from The Dark World.

alright, apparently at any given moment I‘ve got four something variations of mer/sea creature infinity stones AUs so here goes one…
the tesseract is on Asgard, hidden in the vaults— except she’s never been a cube and instead appears in the form of a sea creature. she’s a bit of an amalgamation of a box fish & a dragon sea slug but also vaguely humanoid shaped like a mer would be. So in the vault, instead of on a pedestal like everything else, Space is a bit separated from the main trophy room. Her water tank is completely blocked off by (energy) reinforced glass.
Young Loki finds the water tank cause he’s sneaky and wants to see the vault (because he’s drawn to it). The glass is a bit fuzzy and harder to see through when the bright barrier flares, though sporadically it’s more clear. The water is somehow not murky, as it stays completely clean.
Loki is of course fascinated by the strange creature he sees on the other side, though (at first) the feeling is not mutual as Tess is wary of all asgardians (and isn’t familiar enough with them to realize Loki is a child).
The cage, I mean- tank, is pretty small and barren, so although its depth goes a bit deeper than the floor, there’s no hiding spaces or similar creature comforts. There’s no algae, and no obviously no sun.
This also means that even tho they’re as far away as they can be, and Tess far larger staying in front, it’s obvious that there is two creatures here.
They don’t even attempt to communicate anything back to loki for a long time.
The second here is Mind, and he has been here for a long time. This was originally just his cage, and he has no idea Tess was in another section of the vault. At first, Odin had considered not keeping Tess at all, because having two infinity creatures in one place seemed risky even for him. He realized it was too risky even dumping one of them in a random spot in the ocean, because that would allow them to heal and become too powerful.
Tess had no idea mind was there either, but once she realized what was happening she attempted to contact the others. The message is vague as this kind of communication isn’t her strong suit, it’s mostly emotions and pain, but enough so if any of the others were nearby, they would know where she was.
Mind attempts to contact her back, but now behind another barrier, Tess’ abilities aren’t strong enough in this aspect for it to reach her. Mind is already worried at the message, but the lack of response is panic inducing and he knows they can’t die and the alternative can only be something worse.
In his panic, he manages to destroy his cage and the barrier, but it hurts him more than it did the tank. it could be rebuilt, and it was, multiple times. Odin eventually realizes keeping Mind away isn’t worth the effort, and he’s only destroying his vessel to the point, losing more and more of the leaf shaped structures (scales I guess? but also not really) he was once covered in.
And Odin isn’t cruel you know, he needs them weak, but not on the brink of “death”.
So he puts Tess in Mind’s tank, and well, that fixes one problem.
[Put "📓" or some other version of a book emoji into my inbox and I'll explain the plot of a fanfiction that I haven't written but daydream about.]

Top OCR Training Datasets for Building Accurate Text Recognition Mode
Introduction:
Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is a revolutionary technology that enables machines to interpret printed or handwritten text from images or scanned documents. This powerful capability finds applications in various industries, including document digitization, text extraction, and data analysis. To develop accurate and robust OCR models, the foundation lies in the quality and diversity of the training data. In this blog, we will explore the top OCR training datasets that serve as the building blocks for creating high-performing text recognition models.
Tumblr media
The Significance of OCR Training Datasets:
OCR training datasets act as the bedrock for teaching machine learning algorithms how to recognize and understand different characters, fonts, and languages. The more comprehensive and diverse the dataset, the better the OCR model's ability to handle variations in text, layouts, and writing styles. A well-curated dataset can significantly enhance the accuracy and generalisation capabilities of OCR models, making them indispensable for real-world applications.
MNIST Dataset: The MNIST dataset is one of the most popular and widely used datasets for OCR training, especially for handwritten digit recognition. It consists of 28x28 grayscale images of handwritten digits from 0 to 9. While originally intended for digit recognition, it has also been extended for character recognition tasks, making it a valuable resource for building basic OCR models.
IAM Handwriting Database: For projects requiring handwritten text recognition, the IAM Handwriting Database is an excellent choice. It contains over 13,000 isolated and labelled handwritten text lines, encompassing various writing styles and complexities. This dataset enables OCR models to learn the nuances of different handwriting styles and enhances their adaptability to real-world scenarios.
Tumblr media
Tesseract Training Data: Tesseract is one of the most popular open-source OCR engines, developed by Google. It comes with its own training data, which can be used to fine-tune the OCR model for specific tasks. Tesseract training data includes various language packs, allowing users to train models for different languages and character sets.
SynthText: SynthText is a unique dataset designed to enhance the OCR model's ability to recognize text in natural scenes. It contains over 800,000 images with synthetic text superimposed on diverse backgrounds. The dataset helps OCR models become more robust in handling challenges posed by real-world scenarios, such as complex backgrounds, different lighting conditions, and varying text orientations.
ICDAR Robust Reading Competitions Datasets: The International Conference on Document Analysis and Recognition (ICDAR) hosts robust reading competitions, producing datasets for OCR model evaluation. These datasets comprise images captured in challenging conditions, such as low resolution, blurred text, and distorted fonts. Leveraging these datasets for training can significantly improve an OCR model's resilience to adverse conditions.
Conclusion:
As a leading technology solutions provider, Globose Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd (GTS) recognizes the integral role of OCR training datasets in the development of accurate and reliable text recognition models. These datasets lay the groundwork for the advancement of OCR technology. With GTS's dedication to innovation and excellence, we stand as your partner in harnessing the power of top-tier OCR training datasets to create state-of-the-art OCR solutions.

If you look at everything in the MCU, all the time travel logic in every project really does line up with each other. Its established in Loki that timeline variations that lead to a red line, or an alternate timeline, are destined to be pruned. Every unpruned timeline variation we see creates a loop timeline where everything is reset all on it's own. All the infinity stones in Endgame are returned to their natural place other than the 2012 tesseract which is pruned as a variant timeline, Steve when he returns to the 1900s proceeds to live his life with Peggy doing nothing to change the timeline from what we can tell, Kamala and her great grandmother create a loop timeline involving a bootstrap paradox where both the past and future cause each other to happen, and Scott falls through a natural time portal in the Quantum Realm which leads to the happenings of Avengers Endgame. Every variant timeline that loops in on itself cannot be pruned, because it does not create a branch timeline that can lead to a new Nathanial Richards variant. I'm sure in Quantumania and Loki season 2 we're going to see more examples of timelines that don't loop and therefore branch out past red line and create a new variant timeline.

"Dread it, run from it. Destiny arrives all the same." A wrinkled hand reaches for your chin, running prune colored fingers along your jawline, doting; mockingly.
Your heartbeat pulses loudly in your ears, eyes glazing over with exhaustion and pain as you attempt to glare, the notion in vain as the titan merely chuckled amusedly.
"I can see great power in you, little one. An infinity stone pulses beneath your every vein. Tell me, where is the tesseract?"
You remain silent.
"We don't have the tesseract, it was destroyed along with all of Asgard." Thor interjects weakly from where he lies, his body held tightly in the arms of the black order.
Guilt sweeps across your being as you make eye contact with Loki, sharing a single nod as you both know what you must do.
Thanos grows annoyed with your unwillingness to comply as he walks over with loud steps, his footprints visible as he raises his gauntlet up, the power stone shining threateningly close to Thor.
"The tesseract, or your brother's head. I assume you have a preference." It's not a question. Merely a statement, one that Loki knows he must prove unbothered.
"Oh, I do. Kill away." To anyone else it would seem he couldn't care less about his brother's demise, but you know your love better than he does himself and you catch the glance of fear that washes over cerulean eyes.
You can only watch in trepidation as the stone makes contact with the God's head. Agonized cries escaping as his skin is burned by the mere power of the stone.
Loki does his best to look unaffected, but you catch the hitch in his breath as he batters inner turmoil. the universe, or his brother.
"Alright, that's enough!"
Loki turns his palm up, as a familiar blue cube materializes in his hand. The eerie blue glow casting a shadow upon his face.
Thanos steps away, smug. You force yourself to look away from Thor's accusing gaze.
"You truly are the worst, brother." Thor shakes his head, eyes disappointed but not surprised.
As Thanos moves to take the stone from his hand cerulean blue eyes make contact with your own and you feel a wave of fear wash over you as you recognize the look in Loki's eyes.
"I assure you, brother. The sun will shine on us again." He does not move his gaze from your own and you can't help but feel this is an unspoken goodbye.
"Your optimism is misplaced, asgardian."
"Well, for one thing, I'm not asgardian. For another, we have a hulk."
In a blur of color you are shoved from where you lie, a slithe figure covering your own as you breathe in the familiar scent of cinnamon and leather.
"We don't have much time, my love. I just want you to know that I love you dearly, and I am grateful for the time I had with you. May I see you again, in Valhalla." His eyes are teary and you barely process his words, as his hands grab hold of your face and pull you into a kiss.
The kiss is desperate, filled with love and grief and you can only briefly kiss your love back as he steps closer to Thanos, rambling on about undying fidelity.
You catch a glimpse of silver behind his back and you gasp as realization sets in.
You move to reach him just as he leaps for Thanos, the knife poised for his head, frozen in mid air as the stones across his knuckles pulse.
"Undying fidelity, you should choose your words more wisely."
You cry out as Loki struggles in his grip, his skin fading blue. You crawl forward, legs aching as you reach for him, your progress hinged by your inability to walk.
"You will never be a god." The rasped words are followed by a snap as his neck gives out beneath Thanos' hands.
A tortured scream rings out and it takes you a second to realize it's your own. A broken sob leaves you as you crawl forward to reach where Thanos has carelessly thrown the body of your love.
You heave as your shaky fingers caress his face, his lifeless eyes staring ahead as you clutch him to your chest.
You rock back and forth knotting your fingers in his hair as you plead for the nightmare to end.
"No resurrections this time."
A portal opens and closes behind you, yet you make no motion to move.
You simply close your eyes and welcome the sweet release of death as the universe explodes around you.

"'Coordinates for search and rescue, on my way now.' I mean honestly, how-" Loki is promptly shut up by the mouth guard that decorates his face, courtesy of his brother.
Displeasure makes an appearance as Loki is led to the elevator followed by the avengers that quickly file in. The only source of entertainment being the temper tantrum the green beast throws as he is denied entry. Loki can hardly contain his glee as he waves mockingly as the doors close.
As he is led to the ground floor his cuffed hands clinking annoyingly with every step he glances wearily around himself, dreading the lecture that is sure to come once he reaches asgard. He has no doubt in his mind that Odin will find perfect reason to throw him to the wolves, lest his mother get involved.
As he contemplates, his attention is caught by the sound of his brother calling for help, the guards holding him, attending to what he perceives to be a heart attack, to none other than the man of metal.
He watches, confused as a small stature kicks the case holding the tesseract away from view as the others tend to Stark.
Looking around bemused he watches to see what will conspire next. Before any other move can be made a shout is heard as the doors to the staircase along with the wall is torn apart, the hulk making his distaste for the tedious activity known.
For once since meeting the beast he feels thankful, as the case holding the tesseract is knocked open, the familiar cube sliding towards his foot.
A beat passes and grabbing a hold of the familiar cube he glances around, vanishing in a thin cloud of blue.

Hurried footsteps echo down the corridor as the man moves with barely contained excitement. Tie swinging to and fro, a slightly wrinkled hand pulls at the collar of his neck nervously.
Mobius had seen many variants in his time at the TVA. Yet, none had ever come close to interesting as the file he currently held in one hand. Variant L1130 or Loki, as he was called, was perhaps one of the most complicated cases he had come across.
Born as a legend of mythology it was quite unbelievable to know that not only was he real, but he happened to be in their custody for creating a new branch in the timeline. Mobius could only hope Renslayer would agree to allowing him to be the God's superior.
Entering the courtroom, Mobius sits down and watches with rapt attention as Loki attempts to bargain with Ravonna. His plans are foiled as he tries to call upon his magic in a last effort to escape.
Mobius feels it's time to intervene when Renslayer makes it clear he is to be executed.
"You have no idea what I am capable of!"
"Actually I might have an idea of what he is capable of." He offers as he makes his way up to the stand.
His plea must be written across his face as Ravonna leans over to look at him directly.
"Whatever you're planning, it's a bad idea." She warns.
Nonetheless she reluctantly lets him go and Mobius has to fight off the urge to fist pump the air as he escorts Loki down the hallway.
"Oh, I'm Agent Mobius by the way." He offers a hand that is quickly ignored.
He can practically see the distrust written on Loki's face, his eyes calculating every move he makes.
Mobius is hardly surprised that as soon as he enters the room, his back turned to the God as he adjusts his projector, Loki is surging forward to attack. He doesn't even bat an eyelash as he clicks a button on his remote, resetting the God as if the action never even happened.
"C'mon, let's take a look at some of your greatest hits." Mobius waves a hand, as Loki curiously sits down, eyes trained on the projector.
He finds himself staring back at a hologram of his attack on New York. His blue eyes darting back and forth with glee as chaos erupts around him.
A feeling of something akin to shame runs down his spine as he recalls his reign of terror on the city, an illusion of preying on the weak to hide his own fear, lest he fail and succumb to Thanos and his minions.
Loki clenches his jaw, arms crossing over his form in an attempt to hide himself as he turns to avoid the screen.
"I see no point in this-"
"No, no wait, this is just getting good." Mobius grins as he points to the screen and Loki finds himself once again face to face with another variation of himself.
He briefly recalls the time he had lost a bet to Thor and had to change his form into that of a ginger haired man wearing a clean three piece suit, claiming he had a bomb and required over two hundred thousand in midgardian money just to see if he could pull it off. He did, in fact, pull it off, but his mother was not happy as well as the midgardians who failed to solve the case, naming him D.B. Cooper as they had no clue as to his real identity.
His attention is pulled to the screen as a familiar voice of silk enters the scene and he watches as his mother speaks to his future self, his eyes drawn into her face.
"Then am I not your mother?" He hears her ask. Yes, you are.
"No. You are not." Loki's eyes start to mist as he watches the look of hurt pass over his mother's features before she schools her expression into one of contempt.
"Always so perceptive, about everyone but yourself." She decides.
The screen flickers and he sees himself talking to an intruder, his voice amused as he suggests the monster to take the stairs to the left.
Then, his mother, Frigga, lying on the cold ground, a puddle of red growing rapidly beneath her body as her eyes remained closed.
His breath hitches, anger now licking up his spine. He turns sharply to Mobius who smartly remains silent.
"What is this! Some cruel joke? Where is she?! Where do you have her?"
Mobius steps forward, expression neutral as he speaks.
"She's dead Loki. This is the future, it's destined to happen, again and again because that's how it should be."
Loki falters his eyes narrowing as he spits "You're lying! I'll kill you!"
"What? Like you killed your mother."
There's a split second of silence before an angered shout is heard, a chair splitting the air as it crashes into pieces along the floor.
Before anything else can be said Mobius is summoned by Hunter B-15, his eyes falling to Loki who remains silent and he leaves with a slight tinge of guilt burrowing in his chest at the haunted look in the God's eyes.
"You think yourself so sly don't you." Loki looks up at the unfamiliar voice as the projector suddenly comes to life, a new image flicking gently on screen. His eyes catch upon your form and he watches in awe and wonder as you sit beside his future self.
"I don't think, love. I know." He grins leaning in to steal a kiss from you that leaves you both breathless.
He watches as your eyes are filled with nothing but love and adoration for him as you lean into his side.
"Loki?"
"Yes, darling?"
"Do you believe in soulmates?"
Loki tilts his head in contemplation as he looks to you, before a soft grin pulls at his lips.
"I didn't until I met you. I know that no matter who or what tries to tear us apart, we will always find a way back to each other."
A smile breaks out onto your face and Loki watches in stunned silence as the clip ends with the two of your voices fading into laughter.
"You two are meant to be together."
Loki turns as Mobius slowly comes to a stop behind him, his expression thoughtful.
"I don't enjoy hurting people you know." He responds, motioning towards the screen in reference to his attack on New York and the death of his mother.
Mobius doesn't respond, and he takes that as a sign to continue.
"I do it because I have to. Because I've had to." He looks down as he fiddles with his fingers.
Mobius hums as he replies.
"Why? Why do you think that is?"
"It's part of the illusion. It's the cruel, elaborate trick conjured by the weak to inspire fear."
Realization lights up in Mobius' eyes as he answers back.
"A desperate play for control. You do know yourself."
"A villain." Loki sums up.
"Not the way I see it."
There's a mutual silence between them before Mobius sighs.
"Look I can't offer you salvation but I can offer you something better. A fugitive variant has been killing our minutemen."
"And let me guess, you need the God of Mischief to help you stop him."
"That's right."
"How could I possibly be of use to you?"
"That's the thing. The variant we are hunting, we believe is y/n." Mobius looks towards the projector where your image is still.
"I beg your pardon?"

Mutilated bodies line the floor as a hooded figure steps over them, eyes glowing an unnatural hue.
"Is it finished?"
"Yes."
A wicked laugh fills the empty space as a portal opens in the deserted land, a set of footsteps following through.
"I'm coming for you, my love."

So each angle of ⁰⁰⁰ of star⁸ is 35⁰
But its actually 90⁰ (cube)
But its also 120⁰ (sphere) tesseract toras
So a cube point can be made form
35x3 = 105⁰
(35x10=350⁰ (10⁰=ţ) strings and time
Tumblr media
So its a hyperbolic/parabolic
1.611 out by .007 interesting 0.040572039 1.618033988749895
Pi phi
Its right
Say 4.8L~
(variable 4.8L~ in 80⁰ 16.6`/4.8=3.⁴⁷²) Curvature
Or variance
0.0135226834
Which is within acceptable variation range (10%) which is high very high
There is a rate of change variable 4.8L~
Which is a 5th dimension platonic soild with a extrinsic and intrinsic rate of expansion contaction which forms a 4th dimension tesseract. With a 6th dimensional rate of change for fluid structures of DeM and vSoL~ in gravitational feilds and time dilation.
Thats dimensional calculas
(I need to work on that)
Well its my first try seems to work

gentle lover
(1)gentle lover (2)burn me to the ground Movie/Game/Show: Loki Dynamic: Loki Laufeyson/Reader Warnings: spoilers for infinity war/1st episode of loki ig, fem pronouns Summary: Loki almost wishes he could've experienced the life he's watching of you and him together. ~~~
There’s something about looking upon the gentle face of a lover and coming to the realization that you’d do anything for them. It isn’t as though you never knew - the knowledge was already there, it just took a few seconds for the thought to become cemented as truth. Loki sees this in himself as he stands before the TVA projection of his life.
He’s paused at a moment on an unnameable planet. He sees himself standing on a balcony in what he assumes to be a late-night, but instead of staring up at the stars, he’s looking upon a woman beside him. She’s looking at him as well. They share the glance with smiles - and that’s what alarms Loki most. The smile he sees is one he hasn’t felt in years. It’s small but it’s more genuine than the leather he was wearing moments ago. It’s a smile he hasn’t felt since before he knew about Laufey. Since before his mother…
He knows that woman. One of Thor’s Midgardian friends. The one assigned to watch and guard him in New York.
He doesn’t know why she’s there with him. He doesn’t know why she looks so content to be on another planet with him. He doesn’t know why he looks so at peace at her mere presence. He doesn’t know why it makes him miss a reality he’s never even known to exist.
He almost wants to be there, just to know what it is about that woman that brings him so much tranquility at that moment.
She’s just another bug, their difference in lifespans is proof enough of that. But Loki knows that look, as much as he hates to admit to his own conscience, he knows that feeling smeared across his own face. It’s caring. Tender. A softness he’s never felt for others is now on full display to a Midgardian.
Loki clenches his jaw and resumes the projection.
He watches the two slide their hands together on a railing, interlocking their fingers.
The Loki onscreen’s eyes flicker between hers and their joined hands. It isn’t even him that speaks first, it’s her.
“When this whole thing is over and Sakaar is ruined and Thor has the throne, where will you go?”
Silence is passed between them, Loki brushes his thumb over her knuckles, tilting his head to the side briefly in thought, “Where will you want me?”
She chuckles and shakes her head, “You wouldn’t want to go to Earth. Unless you’d like the Avengers up your ass.”
They giggle together, ignoring the very real reason why the Avengers would be so onto him in the first place. Loki blinks at the woman, scooting closer to her, “I wouldn’t be fond of that… but for you, my dear, I’d tear the universe apart.”
He kisses her knuckles and she merely jokes back, “That sounds like exactly why they wouldn’t want you. Sorry to say they’re not fond of universe-tearing.”
“I’m charming and romantic and this is how I’m repaid?”
“However,” she stresses with a broad grin, “I can’t say that’s not excellent bargaining to keep you on a leash.”
Loki’s brows furrow and he nearly pulls back, “Like a dog?”
“Well, now,” she bites her lip in thought and looks away at the dystopian city below, but Loki still looks at her.
He looks at her as though she’d sewn the very realms together. As though she’d hung all the moons and suns and stars and planted every sweet flower and harvested every fruit. He looks at her like she’s the beginning of his world - and he knows that it also means that, if she asked right then and there, he’d help her destroy the world too. He looks at her as though she’s the only true love he’s ever known. And for all this Loki, watching himself and this woman be entwined, knows - she probably is. He can feel it through the very projection he’s watching, and so he plays another scene with her in it.
“For a woman who could undoubtedly tear people apart, you master the role of a noblewoman, love.”
“Well, that’s a relief.”
Her response is dripping in lighthearted sarcasm and it manages a laugh from the Loki onscreen as he lays back in a shared bed.
“I am somewhat on the espionage scene, it’d be a little embarrassing if I couldn’t even pull off a little role like this.”
“Even so, I admire you for it.”
“At this point, it’d be rarer to find something you don’t admire me for,” she lightly huffs, a smile tipping at her lips as she finishes tying up her dress, “Not that I’m complaining. It's a huge ego boost.”
“There certainly is much to admire about you,” Loki shows his palms as if to display a sort of surrender.
Before more can be said, the projection is paused once again. Loki closes his eyes and lets his head down in the silence - almost expecting that voice to creep through his mind again. He can hear her now, in his head. He knows that out there, in those other variations of him on the sacred timeline that haven’t yet become Variants, they can probably hear her too. In a more realistic sense, of course. Because if they’re determined to fall in love, there must be one of her fated for every one of them. And he almost pities the fact.
He plays the projection in bits and pieces.
“My mother…”
“Loki, stop, you don’t have to.”
“I wish to, dear.”
“Loki…”
“My mother, I truly feel that she would’ve adored you.”
He takes in their love story as it comes and he struggles down what feels too intimate for even him to watch.
“Do you ever worry about the day when you wake up and I don’t?”
“Yes, of course, I do.”
“What will you do?”
“I prefer to not think on that.”
“You think about everything.”
“Some things… are better left unplanned for. At least for now, when that isn’t a valid worry in my mind.”
He almost wishes he hadn’t touched that tesseract. Just to live a life where he gets to see first-hand how this human woman manages to creep under the walls he so carefully spent years crafting.
“I love you.”
“Poor choice, really.”
“Loki. Seriously. I love you.”
“I love you, too, dear.”
It’s bizarre to see himself love. It’s bizarre to watch as he cares for a being he once would’ve had no qualms ruling over. It’s bizarre to know that this is what could’ve been the happiest times of his life if he hadn’t picked up the tesseract.
“Did you ever imagine yourself here?”
“On a spaceship with a bunch of Asgardians and the gladiators from Sakaar? No, never.”
“I meant with me.”
“I know, I was just messing with you. And… no. To be honest. I thought maybe I’d have to watch you as a guard or something. With the whole trying-to-take-over thing, but never that I’d be your girlfriend.”
“Eh.”
“‘Eh’? The hell does ‘eh’ mean? I am!”
“It sounds so… juvenile. Girlfriend - boyfriend.”
“What? Wife sounds better?”
“In honesty? Yes, it does. I’d much rather call you my wife than my girlfriend.”
“You can’t joke about that! I’ll get my hopes up.”
“Who said anything about joking, dear?”
And as he comes to the end, as he watches himself be lifted by the titan he’s come to fear more than anything, he hears her. Her mourning. Her screaming. Her pleading. Her gut-wrenching cries.
He watches her and Thor crawl to his body and sprawl themselves over it in heaps of hiccupped tears and choked sorrows.
“You were supposed to out-live me… Loki, please. You’ve come back before, Loki, please, come back again. Come back again… I can’t - I can’t live this life without you, Loki… please… please come back again…” she sounds as though her heart itself has been ripped from her chest and torn in two before her very eyes, “You were supposed to out-live me… Loki...”
He looks away from the screen. Decides that now is too much. He can’t watch her lose what she saw as the world. Loki barely knows her and yet he knows himself enough to know if he watches her grief then he’ll want to mend it.
Looking upon her and seeing how deeply and irrevocably she’d cared for him, knowing of his past and forgiving his ways and loving him anyway, he knows he’d want to end her cries. It’s that feeling of realization that makes him feel ridiculous for wanting to do so much for a Midgardian he hasn’t fallen in love with yet.
Yet?
Yet.
It’s a feeling of realization that he’d do anything for that lover of his, when he gets to love her. If he gets to love her.
And it’s that ‘if’ that makes him understand why Mobius was so interested in making him watch his own life. His own future. It makes him realize what he wants but can’t have. His brother, his love, his happiness - it gives him something to want. Lying just out of reach.
So long as he’s compliant with the TVA, he assumes. Otherwise, he’d have to tear the universe in half to even see that Midgardian woman once again.

saudade- l. laufeyson
pairings: loki laufeyson x reader, mentions of other loki characters warnings: loki tv show spoilers, probably tva inaccuracies, mobius being trusted even though i don’t actually trust him lol, mentions of death, tears, a little sad angst but happy ending, ooc characters?? possible mistakes because i can't read this again skjfj about: requested, DF26 with TVA Loki running into the variant of his dead spouse a/n: thank you so much for requesting! i loved writing the last scene so much
loki has narrowly avoided the tva for years, opportunities much better than this and chaos a lot more chaotic than this have already been caused and passed. so the how and why he has been taken in at this very moment- while he’s eating at one of those fast food places you used to like- is very, very unknown to him. he should know, however; you’ve explained to him the tired concept of time traveling many times before, although the most important things were told to him when he thought you a mere mortal like the rest- something you were not- and could not possibly know something he didn’t- also something very untrue.
but the reasoning for his capturing is not at the front of his mind- although close- his main objective staying on how to get out of this unknown place and go back to looking for you- whether the fragile fabrics of reality and string of the timeline fray and break or don’t. he knows it possible, having seen the avengers do something similar, so why can a god like him not?
he’s ripped many holes, and he supposes the consequences for them are finally catching up to him, a lot sooner than he’d like. in another world, he’d already have you, and, with you by his side, you both would’ve been out long before, or never captured at all. although, he supposes, in a perfect world, you never would have been taken away from him in the first place.
he knows stopping for food he didn’t even necessarily need- or, really, like- was not a smart decision. he’s realizing exactly how not-smart of a decision it was with every passing second that the fools in armor drag him along the halls. the stop wasn’t needed, much less planned, but the memories the greasy food and dirty restaurant brought were too pleasant- a break full of you in the nonstop mission to find you. he could nearly feel your fingers touching his, hear your voice urging him to at least try and your bubbled laugh when he cringes. the fizz of the soda had made him grimace like the first time, except there was no you to giggle at it.
loki nearly thinks it was worth it. nearly.
when the guard shoves him into another room, loki takes a second to examine the exits, barely noticing the man at the desk. the person next to him pushes him further, dropping the tesseract and various stolen pym particles on the desk. loki takes note of where the man puts them so he can steal them back.
the guard stops with him in front of a small elevator, pulling a lever and waiting. loki looks at them, “where am i? get me back right now, i have things i must attend to.” the guard only looks at him, and loki scoffs, “i am loki of asgard, god of mischief and trickery, believe me when i say there will be deadly consequences if you do not do what i ask.”
the guard huffs a small laugh, “i’ve heard that before. we’ll see.”
the doors in front of him part, opening to a room he’s rammed into. he looks back the guard, one foot already out when he’s suddenly back where he was, watching as the entrance closes. he senses the machine before he can have a good look at it, a claw that he’s seen too many variations of beginning to poke at the fabric on his shoulders. he swats it away, standing tall as he glares at the smiling machine. “absolutely not! this is high tech armor, only few of this exists.”
the tech on the machine turns the grin into a frown, pulling back the talons and instead extending another apparatus that scans at his clothing, removing them with a yellow glow until he’s completely bare. he looks down at himself before looking back up at the face, pointing a finger, “now what-”
his words are cut off when he falls through the opening ground, falling onto the bottom room, now dressed in an uncomfortable tan jumpsuit, orange letters reading TVA on the left breast. a bored man in front of him pushes a pile of papers to him, “please sign to verify this is everything you’ve ever said.”
loki ignores his words, pushing it back, “i need to find someone, stop the absurdity.” the man only blinks as a machine whirrs, printing a piece of paper he reaches over to take and place on top of the pile. he hands loki a pen, “sign that too.” loki frowns, “did you not hear me? i have important things to do.” the machine does it again, and the man repeats his motions and shakes the pen in his hand. “that, too.” the god only sighs in frustration and signs, slamming the pen down before he’s dropped again.
another man greets him in a monotone, not even looking at him while he reads off the clipboard in his hands, “please confirm to your knowledge that you are not a fully robotic being, were born an organic creature, and do in fact possess what many cultures would call a soul.” loki’s eyebrows furrow, “i’m not a robot- how many people don’t know?”
“thank you for confirming, move through,” he requests. loki glances at the machine in front of him before stepping through it, a small picture printing after he’s on the other side. loki catches vibrant orange and red with hints of green that overcome any other color. “through the door, please.”
-
he encounters the same guard from before with a frustrated glare, leading him to what looks like a courtroom, a woman sitting in the middle, reading off a file. “variant L4293, aka loki laufeyson-l/n, is charged with sequence violation 7-20-89. how do you plead?” loki tilts his head at her, “madam, a god- i don’t plead.”
the woman sighs tiredly, “are you guilty or not guilty?” loki’s eyes thin as he observes her. “guilty of… trying to find my wife, yes. guilty of being extremely frustrated, yes. guilty of whatever it is you’re accusing me of, no. not guilty.” loki’s hand curls, trying to use his abilities inconspicuously but dismayed to not be able to. he tries again, only to come up empty as he realizes what is happening. “magic powers are no good in the tva, mister laufeyson,” the judge says absentmindedly. “i prefer l/n,” loki diverts simply, unknowingly catching the attention of one of the attendees. the judge barely acknowledges him, about to say something else before a man jumps up, hand raised, “wait, wait- uh, i have something to add to this. before the court makes a decision.”
the judge tilts her head at the man, pursing her lips before sighing and letting him approach the bench. loki leans in to try to understand the whispers that are exchanged, ending in the judge sending one last look his way before letting him go. “the court finds you innocent- and under agent mobius’ responsibility,” she clarifies, looking at the man and watching him nod quickly. she slams her gavel and motions for the man- mobius, he assumes, to take loki. he stands and awkwardly bows, before going over to loki and raising an eyebrow, “don’t betray me,” he says, words too true to be something playful. loki’s head tilts to the side in slight confusion, watching as the man begins to walk, pausing to urge loki to follow him.
loki ignores the activity through the windows of the hall, choosing to concentrate on mobius. “why did you do that?” he wonders aloud, suspicious eyes following him as his head peeks into halls. “let’s just say it’s a favor, although you’ll be on thin ice forever.”
“favor for whom?” mobius doesn’t answer, turning a corner. loki exhales sharply before following him, continuing to pry as he briefly heeds his surroundings. the sight of a woman in a suit much like mobius’ catches his eye, her back to him but he recognizes the shape of her shoulder and the color of her hair. he looks away, pretending to concentrate on the clock thing on the television but actually chasing the overfamiliar features to a face.
the sound of your voice- something he hasn’t heard in an obscenely long time- craved for so much longer it seems like a lifetime, snaps his attention to what surely must be a cruel joke. he can tell it’s you now. you’re standing there, head tilted at the same receptionist man and chuckling exasperatedly, “come on, casey, we’ve been over this. a fish and a lion are not the same thing-”
“but a lionfish-?” casey asks, and loki is pushing away the guards already, because you’re there, you’re solid and laughing like you used to and you can’t not be real. he can distantly hear mobius’ voice telling the guards to let him go as if loki hasn’t already taken care of that, walking over to you with quick and quiet footsteps. his fingers circle around your wrist first as an assurance, and when you turn, hand still in his, eyes widening when you notice who he is, he pulls you into him completely. your arms wrap around him barely seconds later, finally registering the person in front of you as you squeeze him. “loki?” you whisper, inhaling the same familiar scent of him that you haven’t had in what seems like forever.
“i missed you so much,” he says, hands wandering over your back, touching your arms and your shoulders and your hips just to touch you. “me too- i didn’t- i thought i would never see you again.” your tears are falling on the fabric of his jumpsuit, small tearful gasps escaping your lips while you tug him as close as you can, tangling your fingers in his hair and shutting your eyes at the familiar feeling. “oh god, you’re here-”
“i missed you so much,” he repeats, and you finally notice his words, realization like electricity, making you tremble and sigh softly. “what does that mean?” you question, already fearing the answer and already knowing the effects: the mess of his usually kept hair and the red tint of his eyes, like a sheen of sadness that stains the color of the eyes you have missed for so long. loki pulls away from you only to look at your face, trace the shape of the lips he’d spent hours of the morning pressing kisses to, memorize the curve of the nose you’d scrunch in a laugh when thor was a victim to one of his tricks.
“i have been looking for you, darling,” he murmurs, fingers running over your fallen tears while you notice the shine of his eyes, the tears that enhance the love he has for you. “because i’m…” you don’t want to finish your sentence, and you can tell loki doesn’t want you to either; he scans your features, small smile peeking through the shock and grief.
“i didn’t… mobius didn’t show me that, i thought-” your eyes flicker to the man before settling back on loki, the weight of the ring he’d given you feeling lighter now that it had found its pair. the various eyes on you don’t go unnoticed, and neither does the look mobius sends to the rest of the workers, indicating for them to go back to work. the cold of loki’s skin is comforting to the touch of your warmth, and you find yourself back in the summer afternoons where you would settle with your husband to read books, rubbing cool fingers on the hot of your skin when you felt suffocated by the heat of the sun.
another tear slips from your eyes when you realize you don’t have to imagine anymore, there’s no need to search for your memories and shut your eyes for them to run over you. your lips are on his when you can’t help it anymore, eyes squeezed close and salty tears dropping from your chin when it finally settles that he’s here and he’s yours and he’ll never be gone again.
he’ll make sure of that.

Loki Theory
*Spoilers*
Ok so we know that Sylvie was arrested as a child, long before any of the other Variants (aside from Kid Loki which we'll get to later). So I'm going discuss possible reasons for this and for the arrests in general.
There's a few patterns within the Loki Variant arrests, one of which is success. For example, 2012 Loki had just successfully gotten hold of the tesseract, President Loki presumably won the US presidential election, Boastful Loki defeated the Avengers and got hold of the Infinity Stones. Even Classic Loki was somewhat successful in his planet of solitude.
So what created Sylvie's Nexus Event? And what was up with the Nexus Event created by Loki and Sylvie?
We know that Sylvie learned early on that she was adopted, and there's a little detail in her backstory scene. The story she's creating with her toys is one of saving people, and she exhibits certain protectiveness over many people, including but not limited to Loki. She really seems to be a good person at heart. And I think that's what her Nexus Event was, she was just on the track to becoming a good person, and thus not a villain. Until, ironically, she began seeking revenge on the TVA, although even then it's a kind of saving the universe for the wrong reason kind of thing.
I think there's more to this, though. I think that it's highly possible that Sylvie was simply growing up in a fairly healthy way, especially since she was told about her adoption so early on, which is something the other Lokis never got to experience. Loki says it himself - he's an attention seeker, likely because of the way he grew up. Sylvie probably just grew up in a healthy environment. Until, that is, the TVA arrested her, leading her to the path of revenge.
It's all very sad when you think about it. Lokis are destined to be villains and failures and end up unhappy, and as soon as one of them even comes close, it's a variation of the Sacred Timelime.
Now, Kid Loki. I think he's kind of the opposite of Sylvie, in that he was in a much more unhealthy environment than the other Lokis and thus became the "villain" a lot faster than he was supposed to.
So yeah, that's my theory. Loki is becoming a super interesting character for me, and I would love to do a sibling study of Loki and Thor and how their childhoods turned them into the people they are today, and Sylki as a big metaphor for self-acceptance. So yes, hope you enjoyed reading my random thoughts.
See ya next time!

Attention all Tesseroki Writers
First off, according to OTW Support: "Following the archive's relationship guidelines, Marvel as a whole avoids canonizing relationship tags involving characters with objects; the remaining handful of such tags were canonized many years ago and are being systematically decanonized. Wrangling guidelines allow for these to be made synonyms of "/Other(s)" and "& Other(s)" tags."
This means that any work tagged "Loki/The Tesseract", or similar variations, in the relationship tags will always be sorted into the "/Other(s)" category.
So, one way to filter for Tesseroki works is by looking up works with the tag for the object "The Tesseract (Marvel)" and filtering by the Character/Other(s) relationship tag. Examples:
/Other(s) linked here
& Other(s) linked here
However, for this filter to work, the tag "The Tesseract (Marvel)" must be tagged in Additional Tags, not only as a Character Tag.
While "Loki/The Tesseract (Marvel)" will not be its own Relationship Tag, it will be possible to have the concept canonized instead into the Additional Tags category (though I am not sure what the exact tag would be).
