The world is full of dualities; 2 parts designed to make a whole. Left & Right, Up & Down, In & Out, Right & Wrong, Good & Evil. In shadow work, we aim to bring balance back into our selves by acknowledging and accepting that within us that we have repressed. We bring parts of ourselves out from the shadows & into the light so that we are better able to understand & embrace our true self more fully. Doing shadow work is a process and it is not an easy path to walk but it is a highly rewarding one that opens up a deeper understanding of how we think, feel & respond to life's adventures. It is an empowering journey that helps us understand ourselves at a deeper level and with that, we are better able to understand others & interact with deeper love & compassion in our hearts & our minds. Throwback to two days ago when it was ☀️sunny and warm and the ice was melting to reveal the strong heartbeat of the winter lake (see bottom left video). Later on our walk, the lake was singing a song as the melting ice and waves met (see top right video and listen!). Tuesday's #creativecollaboration with @julienormanbig inspired my meditation and prayer this morning..."to breathe into and heal the backside of my physical and energetic heart ❤️"...you see, I seem to be developing these eyes 👀 that can look at a body and see the spaces where it lacks prana, strength, flexibility, etc (and also where it is powerful and full of energy). The process of healing takes a lot of trial and error and the participant (myself in this case) has got to be WILLING to persevere and to LISTEN. The top left picture helps remind me of how far I have come with this mild scoliosis I have and with my posture in general, but also is a good little reminder of the work still to be done. 😊 #downdogma #peacecrane2017 #hearthealing #prayer #meditation #talkingtogod #listeningtogod #thegoodwork
