a seldom unrealised joy of fics updating after a long time (by which i mean many months or perhaps even years) is being able to go back and reread the previous chapter or heck, the entire fic again to catch up. it’s almost as good as reading it for the first time🥰

Hello pile one, you will experience a turning point in your love life. The change may have already started subtly and I heard that they may be apparent in rather random acts but remember all fates are part of an interconnected web of repercussion! You’re asked to embrace the change and to be open to new experiences. It’s a time of death and rebirth so to say. You might experience an unexpected windfall. There is something happening right now you’re not fully aware of … like it’s happening behind the scenes. It’s the end of a life cycle. I see fortune coming in for you guys!!
A big change is already happening and a storm might occur soon as well - some problems or inconveniences may arise, it may cloud your view a bit but know that it is a sign of change and of growth! You’re stepping into a new life cycle and growing into your new form. For example, clashes or arguments may happen because of the new energy you’ll embody with people that are used to your old energy. That’s a natural process for both parties to get used to and to accept the transformation that is happening. You're clearing out the gloom and dust of your old life time and making space for the new you. Of course it’s important to work things through with the end goal of reconciliation in mind, be constructive in the way you’re communicating with the people around you. Just know that the rainfall after a storm or after the end of a war can be pretty pleasant! I see you afterwards feeling like lots of burdens have been taken from you.
Regarding the new energy you’ll embody: I see you full of positive and wild energy with an almost childlike optimism - like you could rule the world and nothing can stop you. You’re happy, I see you smiling brightly. You rebel against your past in a very carefree manner, leaving all the past worries behind. Again, you might make a few enemies on your way but just as many friends who can help you on your journey! If you’ve been someone that avoided conflict or just had people pleasing tendencies - you will grow out of this! And it’s for the best because if you want to embody your truest and most authentic form, there will always be people that don’t like it - mostly because they’re jealous! You’ll be more playful, have peak charisma and be full of enthusiasm especially towards love matters.
Your love life might have been pretty dry for a long time… maybe even non-existent lol. But you’ve worked on yourself and focused on other important matters and now you will experience the rewards for it!!
This will be a time of discovery as well. You will experience different sides of yourself. I don’t necessarily see a super duper long commitment coming in right now, I think you will just experiment a bit - getting to know yourself more like in regards to love and sexual matters (personal preferences and such). If you felt like you're behind on experience in regards to such matters in comparison to your peers, there is no reason to feel bad or ashamed because there is no general ‘right’ time to experience those things, there is only a right time for you in accordance to your personal journey, okay? And the time is coming for you, I can assure you. Just focus on yourself and treat yourself with kindness and respect and stay open towards all the new things that will come into your life. (But don’t forget to treat others with respect as well during your ‘rebellious’ journey.)
You will be shining, attracting lots of different suitors, trying out new things… Funnily enough during your reading I heard ‘casanova’ lmao - so you will turn a bit into casanova (regardless of your gender). And that’s perfectly fine! Speaking of gender, I think you might also experiment a bit with your sexuality, having experiences with the same gender and stuff like that. (This is a possibility - of course not for everyone of you but for some I can see it happening.)
Some quotes I got from my oracle for you:    ‘Be the flame, not the moth.’;   ‘Always be a free agent - promise fidelity to all.’;   ‘It’s not destiny, it’s opportunity.’
An angel number that could hold a message for you:   33
I wish you good luck and lot’s of fun my dear pile one😌✨
picture two
Hello my dear pile two, if you were hoping that I will tell you about the love of your life coming soon, I’ll have to disappoint you.  Well, 'soon' is a very vague word but you know what I mean. In the upcoming weeks or months, I see you having to gather strength - your own strength - as well as courage. I feel like in the past you often let yourself get used by the people around you, not just by your lovers, I also feel like by your friends and family as well. You undermined yourself and didn’t treat yourself with the respect you deserve especially in regards to relationships (in all forms) and love matters. And it’s coming to bite your a*s…. just kidding lmao. Nothing bad will happen to you but you can’t avoid it any longer, you need to step out of your comfort zone! - And I see you doing so! So, this is good. To be honest, at first it might feel a bit unpleasant and weird but it’s a process and it takes time.
You know, I will just straightforward tell where you’re heading towards. I got the imagery/metaphor of a strong and assertive warrior who uses his intelligence. Someone who is unafraid of leaping into a battle and employing unconventional techniques to win. Someone who is fierce and rebels but ultimately stays loyal towards themselves. A champion.
I guess you could say you’ll transform into a badass queen or femme fatale but I feel like queen fits more because you’re taking your power back, sitting up straight and putting your crown back on your head (- regardless of your gender, adapt it as you see fit please). Your love life itself will rather be ‘passive’ because you have to focus on yourself and be more pickier. You will turn down anyone who is not on your level. You need to treat yourself with respect and especially others have to treat you with the respect you deserve. No more falling for players!! You’re a queen and you only accept people who are on the level of a king. It doesn’t have to be ‘the one’ right away but even a short term lover should fill all the criteria and if they don’t - bye bye!
I know you are strong. But you have to act on this inner strength. Be careful with becoming rude or too ‘arrogant’ because this sometimes happens if we suffer some kind of inferiority complex. You need to step up your game but in a healthy way. I’m not sure if you will experience some kind of bullying or if you’re the one who bullies but there is some message of ‘bullying’. So, be careful with that…I feel like it’s more about you being the one who does so but It could also be both ways… mhm... Anyways, you’re transforming into this ‘queen’ where you’re embodying strength and maybe even power and there will be people in your environment that are not happy about it, more so envious or jealous. So, either way there is potential for conflict. Don’t trust everyone you interact with too quickly! And don’t share too much from your personal life with others! Some people won’t have your best interest in mind. There is even a possibility of someone sabotaging relationships or partnerships; again, this could go both ways - you doing it or others trying to do it on you.
In your love life you will become someone who can defend themselves and who can fight back if necessary. ‘Don’t mess with me’- vibes. You won’t allow other people to play you anymore. Your inner strength will sky-rocket. You will build trust in yourself and face your ‘inner wild sides’ which you might have kept hidden for a long time. You will focus on your instincts… your raw, maybe even sexual instincts. Because you need to learn how to deal with them correctly and use them efficiently and not just to repress them. They will give you so much more energy and strength - strength you didn’t even know you had! You will be more independent and more able to trust and rely on yourself. You learn how to handle yourself in the correct way and this is great, especially for your future love life because if you don’t know how to handle yourself correctly how should your partner learn how to treat you correctly! With this growth period you will do the first step and show everyone the right way to treat you. On a side note, I feel called out to use another expression than ‘queen/king’ as well... This might be specific confirmation for some. So, in other words, in the upcoming time your love life might be more passive for now but you will focus on yourself and become the ‘trophy wife/husband material’ that you desire to be. I know some people think badly about these expressions but I would say that in our modern times, instead of just having a pretty appearance and being seen as just a nice 'accessory ' I would describe them as people who are physically pretty and very charming AND who have manners, skills and intelligence and know how to use them for their benefit and who are powerful, abundant and successful in public/business but also in their private life and have everything under control or at least appear like they have everything under control. Like the whole package yk. Maybe you guys will physically glow up or upgrade your wardrobe with high quality clothes and accessories. Either way, you will come out of this period shining brightly!
Some quotes I got from my oracle for you:    ‘Beauty is power - so use it rather than lose it.’;     ‘Age is just a number - irrelevant, unless it’s a vintage wine.’;    ‘Everyone is a potential character for a novel.’
An angel number that could have a message for you:   94
I wish you good luck, I’m sending blessings out to you my dear pile two💖
picture three
Hello pile three! I can already tell you that happy times are coming! The first card that I got for you was the happily-ever-after ending card! It’s like you’re reaching a victorious conclusion after a difficult journey. You finally get a positive outcome - the most desired one even ... like a wish fulfillment! You will also get recognition for something which will feel like a triumph for you. You might also attend some parties or events celebrating something. I see you having lots of fun, enjoying yourself … I even want to add ‘for the first time in your life’!  I also see pleasurable encounters and intimacy with others.. maybe while dancing with someone? Or while going a little further? lol… Anyways, I see you getting out of your shell more. If you’ve been someone who often shut people out of their life or rejected any potential suitors preferring to be on your own because you found all those love related things ‘cringey’ (I feel mainly because you had issues with intimacy), this will be a bit different in the upcoming time! You've been warned…just kidding. There is nothing to fear because I can see you truly having fun.
In addition, I also see that many opportunities will arise/many doors will open for you! Many interesting potential suitors? Soulmates even? To be honest it doesn’t have to be limited to your love life but there will definitely be a few love related opportunities for you! Again, I have cards hinting at a great wish getting fulfilled and that you have potential for success in these times. You will also discover and develop new talents/skills which might be more important than any material treasure or rather more essential to your life. It is being said that you have the key within yourself to solve any kind of problem or in other words: You yourself are the key.
But you’re being advised to also try to give others the key to your heart! In the upcoming days and weeks, you won’t  hide or isolate yourself anymore, you will let other people into your world! And that is good. It’s time to mingle with people. You will be more open to new things, towards other people and in your relationships with others but you should try not to be ‘too’ trusting. Ok that might sound contradicting or even funny to you because I feel like you are not the type to easily trust others and that is totally fine, you have your reasons. You’re not asked to easily give out your trust to others but you should stop pushing people away and not even giving other people the opportunity or chance to gain your trust!
The advice here is just to be careful with ambiguousness in other people’s behavior and words and take notice of any contradictions and inconsistencies between them. Through that you will discover other people’s hidden motives. Always ask yourself: cui bono - who does benefit from it? You will develop a keen eye for this in the upcoming days and weeks. Of course sometimes disappointing things happen but they are a part of love just like the intimate moments of affections that make us happy. Everyone experiences these bad moments but that shouldn’t be the reason to exclude ‘love’ from one’s life completely.
I feel like you might not like to hear this (or hated hearing this while growing up) but you should definitely go out there more! Don’t hide yourself from the world or from the people - especially now! You should also enjoy your life, experience all those beautiful things because you deserve to have moments where you feel your heart beating, where you’re full of excitement, where you’re at peace with yourself and in the presence of someone else. And you should treasure those moments. So, be open towards love matters (potential suitors, love offers and opportunities) but don’t let yourself be fooled by any kind of deception, you’re smarter than that. If you have any plans like getting into a relationship or wooing someone specific, be slick …maybe even a little cunning while making plans and taking action! There is a chance of meeting a soulmate or just like minded people whose company you’ll enjoy greatly! If you’ll face any opponents, beat them at their own game with the same ‘weapons’! I can assure you, you are in control and luck is on your side! Anything you try to do now, will probably be a success. This is your time now. :)
Some quotes I got from my oracle for you:    ‘Treasure those seconds when you felt your heart beating.’;     ‘Don’t allow any tourists into your own private Paris.’;    ‘To love someone and mean it is a rare and valuable thing.’
An angel number that could have a message for you:   102    ( or 10 and 2 separately )
Great times are ahead for you, I’m sending my blessings out to you pile three. 🔥

Hey, Em! I’ve been confused about my type for a while now (leaning towards ISFJ and INFJ, though), so I’d appreciate having your take on this. If it helps, I’m a 641.
- I naturally fall into routines and I quite enjoy them. If I feel the need to do something different, I’ll do it, but I don’t mind repetition if I enjoy it. I’m also very practical when it comes to resolving problems, prefering easy solutions. If I finish what needs to be done quick, it means I’ll have more time to relax later.
- I usually don’t plan too far in advance. I see my future as a big question mark, but I like to think about the possibilities it may hold and am somewhat optimistic about it, feeling that things will work out in the end (even if I’m anxious about the present circumstances).
- Still talking about future plans, I do not see myself as future oriented. Sure, I enjoy entertaining ideas and daydreams, but I do not necessarily intend to make them come to life. It would be amazing if they did, but just thinking about them seems quite enough for me, since I do it must for fun and to cope with reality.
- I’m a little bit of a perfeccionist: I like to achieve ideals settled by my own mind and I’m quite good with details. I try to pay close attention to the process, so I don’t have to revise my work later.
- I’m not into leadership/telling people what to do, but I like to have control over my personal situations, so I’ll usually get things done by myself and, usually, I don’t even consider asking others for help.
- My emotions are intense and all over the place, if I’m feeling something or if something happens to trigger my emotions, I’ll probably make a huge deal of it for a while, but, once it’s gone, I go back to my “neutral” state. That being said, I usually can’t hide emotions for the sake of others. Since they’re too intense, I can’t help but let them burst away.
- I have a hard time dealing with different opinions, specially when it comes to things that matter greatly to me, so I naturally seek consensus.
- I place a lot of value in relationships and I spend a lot of time idealizing them. I feel that I “need” a certain amount of people in my life to feel fulfilled, just then I’m be able to focus on other goals.
- I fall a little on the impulsive side, mostly because I don’t spend a lot of time considering the consequences to my actions. I actually have a deep fear of getting into trouble because of that (it happened before), so I tend to avoid action when I’m feeling that way (then, I feel miserable because I’m not doing anything, so it’s a cycle).
- I also tend to be businesslike in conversation. I appear very serious and formal, specially when I first meet someone.
Thank you!
Hi anon, ISFJ seems very reasonable - your discussion of seeking consensus and intensity of emotion (and the fact that you were fairly sure about high Fe) all point to Fe, and the fact that you are more pragmatic and are not intensely future-focused makes sense with high Si.

GQ: George Russell: F1's Mr Consistent is focusing on all the positives
With four races left in the season, the British F1 driver is on course to finish fourth in his first year driving for Mercedes – but make no mistake, his goal is to win multiple world championships
By Mike Christensen 23 October 2022
Tumblr media
It’s early September and George Russell is in peak chill out mode. He’s taking full advantage of an unexpected break in the F1 calendar to hang out with his family and loved ones at home in north Norfolk, where he was born and bred. Today, though, he’s down in London for a photo shoot with Belstaff. When I mention my grandparents used to live in Kings Lynn, he rises slightly from his chair and his eyes light up.
“My grandparents had a shop in Wisbech called Else Discounts,” he says proudly, hoping I might know it. “Their surname was Else, so their slogan was ‘Who else, but Else?’ It was a bit cheesy, but I liked it.”
It’s clear that family is, and always will be, extremely important to Russell. He recently posted a photo of his parents, who were visiting the Mercedes AMG HQ for the first time. “They have been a huge part of my journey from the very beginning,” he wrote, adding that his career to date has been “a proper family effort along the way”. When Russell first started go-karting at a young age his father, Steve, would act as his mechanic while his mother, Alison, used to record all of Russell’s setups and lap times in a green notepad.
“I always try to represent myself in the best light possible,” he says, “and the people who I represent as well – Mercedes and all the team partners but also my family, my girlfriend, and my friends.”
With four races of the 2022 season left, there’s no doubt the season hasn’t panned out as many people expected for Mercedes but Russell’s feeling good about his debut after three years at the back of the grid with Williams. “I’m really enjoying being part of Mercedes, seeing how they operate as a team. They're the best in the business so it's been a learning process for me,” he says confidently.
(...) Here’s how life in the fast lane has been for the man himself.
How would you sum up this season so far for you? For a team of Mercedes' calibre, we have underperformed substantially this season but I can see there's light at the end of the tunnel. Moments like this either make or break a team. Either you fall apart because there's so much pressure, emotions are high, and maybe you’re thinking irrationally about a number of the issues. Or you grow stronger together. I'm really feeling that, seeing how the team is coming together, going about the issues we've had almost scientifically, as you would and should in a Formula 1 team, and being rational about every single issue rather than making decisions in the heat of the moment.
Being your first in a Mercedes seat, what was your aim for 2022? I went into the season with a very open mind, because I appreciated and recognised it as a totally new era and there were no guarantees that we would get it right. Obviously I've come here to win races, and I'm not satisfied with just finishing in the top five every single race. But again, I've got to be rational about this. And I can't be disappointed with my results this year, because the results on almost every single occasion have been optimised. This is my fourth season in F1, I worked so hard to get here and I feel ready to fight for victories and World Championships. I'm here for the long haul with this team, and I believe that this is the best place to be to give myself the best chance of World Championships if I look at it over the next five-year period.
Are you satisfied with your performances? It's always that half-glass full, half-glass empty analogy. I saw this really nice artwork of two people sitting on a bus on an ocean drive. One guy was looking out onto the sea, and the sun was shining, and he had a big smile on his face. And the other guy on the same bus, on same journey, was looking the other way out into a cliff wall. And he had no view and it was dark and shaded. That really struck me and it's so true, so many people can be on the same journey, but you've got to take all of the positives from that journey and look at the sunshine rather than looking in the shade. That's what I'm trying to do this year, I'm looking at the sunshine. I'm looking at how we've always improved on a Sunday, how the results have, generally speaking, been the best possible result we could have achieved with the car we've got. Rather than thinking, "Oh, we should be winning because we're in Mercedes."
What’s the aim for the last remaining races? If we won a race this season, we can walk away feeling that we've been on a difficult journey, but one that we've recovered really well. As a team, we want to finish ahead of Ferrari in the team championship. That would be a good boost for us over the off season and it would be a difficult pill for Ferrari to swallow, considering that they had the fastest car on the grid at the start of the season. And for us to take that momentum into 2023, psychologically that would be quite an important result for us.
What lessons has Formula 1 taught you? When I look at my career path compared to other people's I feel like sometimes if you have too much success when you're younger and don't experience those really challenging moments where you need to look in the mirror and question yourself ‘How am I going to improve?’ it hurts you later down the line. I had two standout years in my junior formulas where they were really, really challenging for me. I didn't perform and I wasn't fighting for the championship and that was difficult for me, but it was a moment that probably really helped me progress as a person.
How so? When I was 16, I was a little bit naive and arrogant. If I wasn’t winning, I’d be like ‘Well, it can't be me why I'm not performing, it must be something else.’ There were other reasons why I wasn't performing, but I was also a big factor of why we weren't getting those results. Realising that really helped me to improve as a person and improve as a driver. Equally now in F1, three years on the back of a grid with Williams. These difficult moments, a couple of mistakes along the way, they make me stronger.
Do you have any pre-race rituals? Before the race, a big part for me is taking 10 minutes alone in my room to get away from all the craziness that's outside with 150,000 fans in the grandstand, loads of people in the paddock, all of our sponsors and guests within our team. It's my quiet space but it's less to try and get in the zone, and more to let my mind and body relax, because it's sometimes a bit overwhelming with everything that’s going on. Often on a Sunday we do the driver's parade in front of the fans. Your heart is pumping because you feel the energy from the crowds, and you're psyched up before you get in the car. Sometimes that plays against you because driving a car, when you do these incredible laps you need to be relaxed and you've got to flow between the corners so the harder you try the worse it is. For me, jumping into a car when I'm all hyped up and my heart is racing, is not what I need to perform. I almost need the opposite. I need to be calm, I need to be relaxed. And so, just taking 10 minutes is good.
What’s the toughest thing about being a Formula 1 driver? I'm so passionate and motivated to perform, win, and be a World Champion. But the sport is tolling. You've got the physical aspect and the psychological aspect is tolling. You have all those emotions of the race weekend, the success, the highs, the lows. The travel is tolling on the body. It's not a healthy lifestyle. And I'm not talking just for drivers but for everybody in the sport. We're going to 22 different countries in a year, staying in 22 different hotels, eating 22 different types of food, and 10 different time zones. That lack of routine is not good for anyone. So I sit here today and say, ‘I think I can go until I'm 40’ but maybe in five years time I'll say something else.
How do you deal with everything else that comes with the job? So many things are expected of athletes these days that I think people forget we are just human. I'm a racing driver, not an activist, not a politician – I'm not this and I'm not that. You're expected to have the right view and opinion on everything and for me, I'm 24 years old, and that's probably one of the hardest parts of the job. The driving part is easy because I'm a racing driver so once I've got that helmet on, I'm in my happy place.
Some big names will be leaving the sport at the end of the year. How do you feel about that? [Sebastian] Vettel retiring, he’s one of the biggest names in sport, and Daniel Ricciardo probably being out of a drive next year, are not things we really contemplate. I've got a huge amount of respect for those two and obviously the sport will miss them dearly, but it's like that in any sport industry, people come, people go, and the sport will live on. That's just reality.
Another thing attached to the sport is looking the part. Is style important to you? I want to dress well. And I want to look classy and elegant. Kind of like David Beckham in that regard. Or Federer, someone who has always dressed well. He's smart.
Seems like you’ve found yourself a good match then, in Belstaff? Being British and patriotic, Belstaff is the perfect brand for me to be associated with. It’s very classy, elegant, and casual as well. It's got a huge heritage and history with motor sport and motoring, so it ticks all the boxes.
Would you say style transcends trends? I was talking about first impressions with somebody, and they say that if you're going to get a job, they know within the first five seconds if they're going to hire you or not. Within the first five seconds walking through a door, probably half of that is you haven't even opened your mouth yet. People, rightly or wrongly, judge characters based on how they dress. So for me, I always want to have the right impression, good impression.
Were you wearing racing overalls when you had your interview with Toto Wolff? Toto always says I was wearing a suit, which is pushing it a little bit. I had you a shirt on and nice trousers, nice shoes. That was the biggest interview of my career and I went in thinking, ‘This can totally change my destiny’ so I wasn’t going to walk in with my trackies and a hoodie on.
You drive fast cars for a living but what about stylish old cars? I would love to own a vintage car, for sure. I'm not quite at that stage of my career yet, to be looking at having multiple cars as such. But I actually had an event in Monaco earlier this year. And there were three Mercedes SL300s from the ’50s and ’60s. Incredibly elegant cars, and I thought ‘definitely one day’. That’s the dream to own one of those classic convertibles, roof down, driving along the coast.

MORE GREGORY Q U O T E S:
About the Triskelion Mark On The Back Of His Neck:
“Wha…? O-oh. You- y-you mean this thing? T-to be honest, I, ah, don’t really know what it does. It’s… a weird mark on the back of my neck- Roxanne called it a ‘triskelion’- said it’s supposed to symbolize spiritual unity and change, also said something about it being connected back to the holy trinity- whatever that means.
There’s also a strange amount of glyphs and runes encircling around it- they’re really small, though, you can only see it if you look close enough, and I mean if you really, really squint. I remember a distant voice praising it, calling it the ‘Mark of the Reforged’… but to me, it just looks like an odd birthmark that would’ve drawn suspicion from others, so I just decided to cover it with my hair and the collar of my shirt.”
About Glamrock Freddy- Perseverance:
¨Everyone always says to me that I´m the type of person to be too focused on the result- the light at the end of the tunnel- especially Mikey. They say I have to enjoy the moment- enjoy the journey, the steps I take to reach my goal. Aiy, people can be so full of lies sometimes.
I don´t see how I´m not ´enjoying the process´- I´ve enjoyed how I got to this point plenty with Freddy constantly keeping me company. Plus, if you lose sight of your dream, you stop searching for what keeps you grounded to the world- the things that mean the most to you. You become aimless, purposeless, and lost in life forever- that´s just the truth of the world that I had to realize the hard way, all too soon.¨
About Dreams- To Start Anew:
¨I´m grateful for this second chance… but I never asked to have my own flesh and blood descerated and disrespected to craft a new body for me, nor did I ask for my soul to scatter into fragments of the past in locations I don´t even know about. I put everything on the line just to find my purpose, to risk everything I had for my family, my happiness.
I worked so hard for a second chance to live my life as it should´ve been, to pick up the pieces and continue where I left off. I was willing to throw away everything I had, crush anything that got in my way without any thought as to how I would hurt the people I love and so desperately wanted to be with again.
I´m still willing to do whatever it takes.
I gave all the effort I had to make sure the day I was waiting for would come. And even after all that… all that work, all that pain wasn´t worth it, and all I would ever amount to was a crybaby who hurts other people and was consumed by his own grief. I´m just a lonely, sad and scared little boy who wants his family back. Ugh… I´m a disgusting person, aren´t I?¨
About Sensitive Topics- Bygone Days:
¨You´ll have to forgive me for talking like an old grandpa sometimes- there are times where I remember the happier days of my past and daydream about them most of the time, to the point where I can´t stop rambling about them. Like, take the time I accidentally shot a golf ball at Michael’s crotch during our time in Arizona, for example- ooh, or even the time I pranked him and his friends, secretly breaking into their car when they were just about to go to Dairy Queen!
Hah, sorry- I’m rambling again, aren’t I? Ah, I do want to talk with the other kids here about all the mornings, afternoons and nights I spent with my siblings, back in my childhood, when my life was normal- back when I had a different, more innocent future.
I… I´m afraid it´s not that easy, though- you can´t just walk up to someone and say ´hi´, as if that´ll start a conversation without any tension whatsoever, you know what I mean? The only people that are willing to listen to me is Sundrop, Mikey and Liz- Freddy and Officer Vanessa, I mean.¨
About Sensitive Topics- Change:
¨Just like our planet rotates, wobbles around its axis and makes revolutions around the sun, the entire universe is constantly changing with every second that passes. Stars die like life does too, and eventually the world becomes unrecognizable as all that the past holds close melt into nothingness. But they´re not entirely gone- they´re just lying asleep beneath the ground we walk on, waiting for someone else to take up the mantle. Like artifacts, or fossils.
To think that the people that once lived in the past entrusted their wills and legacies to us- isn´t that a happy concept? And just as life is born and dies only to rinse and repeat, they grow and change, learning and developing. We people, no matter how much we change, no matter how similar or different we are, will always be human- one unified nation, one vast blob of existence composed of multiple little connected universes, each one full of life.
Ah, haha… what a wonderful world we live in, am I right?¨
About William Afton- Pursuit of A Dream:
“That horrible man I once called a father was chasing an inachievable dream in the end, willing to sacrifice everything he had, commit every single atrocity known to man, in his pursuit of immortality. That’s why he made this body to house my being once I’m to be whole again, I’m sure- to withstand wear and tear for as long as I remain here. Come to think of it… why exactly are so many people obsessed with living forever?
Do they not know that an eternal existence is one defined only by insanity and despair? Are they sure they can live with having meaning and magic, purpose and love basically sucked out of their life? Will they not regret it? Like, at all?
Maybe in the eyes of more than Afton, maybe I am just some dumb child- maybe I was an idiot back then for not chasing eternal wealth and life- external glories of something grander than oneself. Maybe I am a fool for trying to satisfy my deeper desires for family and love, for chasing the past and future, for embracing a constantly changing world of impermanence and trying to find my worth and reforge my identity.
But the difference between me and him is that I’ve already lost everything by the time I was reborn into this new form- and the one thing we have in common is we’d do anything to claim back what’s rightfully ours.
And maybe he does deserve eternity, to suffer in the prison of his own making and his own mistakes to think about what he did to his own children- his own family.”

[VIDEO] How To Live Happy And Get Everything In Life Easy
The best way to get everything one wants in life is to pursue what’s wanted because pursuing it is joyful. This is especially true when wanting something most people think is impossible. Such as “manifesting” more money, a relationship or a better job.
That’s because most people will tell you their opinion on how to get those things. And rarely will they offer the “manifesting” path. They’ll tell you “the odds” of you “manifesting” that thing. The’ll tell you getting something that way is “wishful thinking”.
They’ll tell you to be “realistic”. Being realistic means “trying hard”. It means doing what others do. It involves focusing with the end in mind and “faking it till you make it.”
All of those ways can work. But look around at people doing it that way. It’s hard work. People hate the process. And hardly anyone gets what they’re after, because the path is so filled with struggle many or most give up on what they want. Or worse, they compromise. They settle for something “ok” instead of holding out for their dream.
Compromising is what happens when someone goes after something thinking the result is what they’re after. If, however, a person goes after something, knowing the journey to that thing is what matters most, the entire process and experience of the process changes. It’s no longer a struggle, it’s a joy. The process of doing becomes the purpose of the doing, not the means to the ends. And in that mind space, what one wants happens fast.
Your action isn’t the main attraction
Why does this happen? Because when the mind isn’t focused on the end goal, the mind becomes open to millions of avenues leading to the goal instead of the one way one thinks it must happen.
Think about it. When focused on a particular goal, say, finding a lover, usually people think of one particular way to get that lover. The main way they think it must happen has to do mainly with their taking action to “make something happen”.
But the majority of people who get what they want, especially really big things they want, hardly ever get those things through their hard work. And usually, if they’re honest when asked, those people attribute “success” to “luck” or “god” or some other force greater than themselves that made it all possible. There’s truth to their attribution. Your action is not the main attraction.
Often, these people reach a point in their “doing” where they realize they’ve done all they can. With nothing more they can do, they give up. They surrender to “come what may”. Typically, once they give up, once they surrender, that thing they want shows up. It’s not the surrender that makes that happen. It’s what happens when they surrender.
Surrender to the journey
When one surrenders, they give up actions, but also thoughts standing between them and the easy flow of what is wanted. In other words, the person no longer stands in the way of what they want. Instead, in giving up, they become a cooperative element in the unfolding.
Another way of “surrendering” is giving up focusing on the end goal and instead enjoying the process, doing what one’s doing for no other reason than the joyful doing of the doing. A client and I talked about exactly this recently. Take a listen:
youtube
I have several really big things I’m “manifesting”. They include things 99 percent of humans will say can’t be done. But I know those things on my list are as easy for me as an eternal being, with the power of the Universe behind me, to accomplish as it is to walk from one room to another. However, I must relax into the process of their unfolding, because I too have residual belief in their impossibility.
It’s not the “impossibility” of the things I want keeping them from happening. It’s the belief in the impossibility slowing things down. So for someone like me, who wants really big things showing up, I must focus relentlessly on the journey as the goal rather than the goal itself. That’s why I see, nearly every day, evidence of their unfolding.
Everyone can enjoy fulfilled wishes
Compared to what’s on my list, finding a partner or a job or whatever is easy as pie. All that’s required is giving up thoughts contrary to what one wants. Thoughts contrary to what one wants aren’t the only ones that must go though. Thoughts seemingly having nothing to do with the goal also must go. This is why it seems to take forever for people to “manifest” something.
They aren’t willing to surrender. Meaning, they aren’t willing to give up what they must to have what they want.
Anyone can have what they want no matter what it is because the Universe is a wish-granting jewel ready to deliver ANYTHING someone can formulate desire for.
All that’s required is focusing on the reason why one wants what they want rather than focusing on the thing wanted. Doing that will naturally put one in alignment with the wanted thing, so long as the reasons feel good.
If a person can remain in those good feelings, instead of thinking about how lonely they are, or how impossible the goal seems, they’ll get what they want. It’s that easy.
Feeling good is like finding
It’s easy because when a person focuses on why they want and feel good in that, the desire itself becomes more important than the fulfillment. They don’t need the thing they want, because they already feel good without it. So the desire’s fulfillment becomes irrelevant. When a person gets there, then having what they want is icing on the cake because they already feel as they will feel when what they want comes. Feeling good about what you want is as good as having it. And when you’re there, what you want must show up.
It’s not hard shifting that focus. It can happen in as little as five minutes. You know you’ve done that when you feel good right now, even without having what you want. And again, when you feel good, you’re closer to having what you want than you think.
If you want to know more about how this all works, set up a free 1:1 and let’s talk. Let’s discover how easy it is to have anything you want. It’s not as impossible as you think. All you need is more happy. Then everything in life will come on its own accord.

40 for Zov, and 23 for Yeskiv
42 CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT QUESTIONS
40. What do they wonder about? What sparks their curiosity and imagination, and why? How is this expressed, if it is?
Tumblr media
Zovariy, unlike their sibling, does not share the same expressive enthusiasm for learning, despite being nearly just as intensely curious about the universe as Ardaka. They’re a far more rigid personality, stoic and very unwilling to share what they perceive as weakness — and Zovariy does consider too much outward interest as just that.
When they express their sense of wonder, curiosity, imagination... They do so alone. Zovariy is a private person, and doesn’t enjoy sharing these experiences with others a vast vast majority of the time. There’s a reason most of their crew is composed of non-living robots — they generally don’t like social interaction, and they prefer to learn on their own.
What sparks Zovariy’s curiosity is something they do not understand or something they’ve just never learned about and cannot initially comprehend. Of course, they’re prone to frustration if they don’t pick up on it quickly, but in the learning process, they don’t really give that frustration any mind (they do in other circumstances though).
They’re focused and driven to the single goal of figuring out the hows and whys and whats — and they don’t entertain anything getting in their way until they get the answers they’re looking for. So honed in on this task (in this instance, their curiosity/imagination) that they will not stop until they see it through. They may seem overly serious when they’re trying to indulge in their curiosity that from the outside, it probably looks like they’re really not enjoying themselves. (They are. They just take learning Seriously.)
23. How do they respond to difficult social moments? What makes them consider a social situation difficult?
Tumblr media
Much like her children, Yeskiv hates not getting her way. But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have experience with it. Yeskiv, as old as she is, has been through countless different social situations — easy and profoundly difficult and everything in between. Most often, Kariian politics takes a turn for the violent, in which case the answer is relatively simple, but she’s had to do quite a lot of government management for Kariians and the even larger non-Kariian (including half-Kariians in that) population. This, to an extent, means appeasing the general public. Make no mistake, the Dominion is a dictatorship, and her word is without limit, but she makes an attempt to manage what she can to keep the Dominion in stable condition. So this does mean navigating numerous different social situations in the process.
To that end, nothing is so difficult for her that she cannot manage it, including a social situation where she isn’t getting her way or cannot solve it with intimidation. Most social situations can be resolved simply due to her intimidating presence, but she is prepared to deal with the alternative if need be. (And she does so deftly — her name is Guile, after all.)
That said, she really despises situations where the other side of the conversation is just ... willfully ignorant. As in, they deny Basic Facts (including what she also considers to be Basic Facts). If another is determined to disagree with her, and will not accept the logical, most often scientific proof that she is correct, she very quickly becomes infuriated and violent. (That’s where the secondary name of Fury comes from.)

Which Muzzle Device Is Right for Your Gun?
Have you ever wondered about the thing at the end of a barrel that your 7.62 ammo passes through and what exactly it does? More importantly, is your current muzzle device right for your gun and your preferred shooting style? The type of muzzle device installed on your firearm matters, each with different purposes. Here’s a look at four common muzzle devices, along with their primary purposes and benefits, to help you decide if it’s worth picking one up for your firearm.
Tumblr media
Flash Hiders Flash hiders are one of the most common rifle muzzle devices. If you buy a full AR upper, it will likely come with a flash hider attached. As the name implies, the device is intended to hide a significant portion of visible muzzle flash from the shooter. The A2 “Birdcage” is the classic flash hider, helping redirect the combustion gases so you can stay focused on the target. Because it redirects these gases, it can also reduce some felt recoil, although this isn’t the device’s primary function. Muzzle Brakes If reducing recoil is your primary goal, you want a muzzle brake. They started out on artillery weapons, then heavy anti-tank guns, and finally tanks before making the jump to rifles. A muzzle brake has a series of ports on the side of the muzzle device to redirect gases. The muzzle brake vents the gases to the sides, pressing the gun forward and creating an impulse that works against the rearward recoil of the gun. You will often find muzzle brakes on larger calibers, like .338 Lapua, or on large guns like the Barrett .50 cal, as they can significantly reduce felt recoil. However, they also make the gun louder, and anyone standing to your side at the range will definitely feel the concussive blast with each shot. Compensators Muzzle brakes are often called compensators, which leads many to conflate the two. However, they are technically two different muzzle devices. While a muzzle brake vents gases to the side, a compensator directs the gas upward. Instead of reducing recoil, it reduces muzzle rise. You can typically find compensators on 9mm handguns to help with the snapiness inherent in many handguns or AR-15s to help make follow-up shots faster during competitions. They are more common on semi-auto rifles than bolt-action or fully automatic rifles. These days, you’ll usually find these more often on handguns than rifles. Suppressors While suppressors are famous for making guns quieter, they do more than just reduce noise. The baffles that dampen the noise of a gunshot work to slow down and redirect gases. The flash is virtually contained inside the gun and suppressor, making it an effective flash hider. Additionally, they add quite a bit of length to your firearm, which can be great for improving accuracy but can also make them more unwieldy. Plus, you need a tax stamp for them, which can take months to get, all while abiding by local and federal laws. They’re not for everyone, but if you’re willing to go through the lengthy process, you might enjoy adding a suppressor to your firearm. About Cheaper Than Dirt! Another One Down! – A Bitter Descent
The deluxe version of A Bitter Descent by Providence, Rhode Island-based band, Another One Down!, offers a nice glimpse into the maturity shown in the band’s dedication to their craft. “A Bitter Descent means a lot to us because it marks growth and progression for our band. For a long time we felt like we were seen as sort of a throwaway easycore act and we really wanted to prove that we have so much more to offer with this record,” the band shared. “One of our main goals going into the writing process was to tackle more mature subject matter, primarily overcoming mental health issues which is something each member of the band has struggled with in the past and we feel is important to discuss. Another goal was to explore a wide variety of sounds and vibes while still creating a cohesive record. We’ve always been inspired by bands who are not afraid to give individuality to each song rather than write the same song 12 times, especially when they’re able to do that and still create a well-flowing record. We truly believe that we achieved these goals with A Bitter Descent and we are so proud of how the record came out.” The sound of the band fits somewhere between The Starting Line, Midtown, and Allister, with the punchy production of Hit The Lights. By honing in on their songwriting, while still remaining committed to putting their best foot forward, Another One Down! have made a great, hard-hitting pop-punk record just in time for the beginning of Summer. The album opens cautiously with an organ sound on “Please Don’t Walk Away” before more instruments join the mix over Marcus Simonini’s inviting vocals. The band picks up speed as the song eventually reaches its crescendo to match the lyrical material. “Empty (Without Me)” follows the great, atmospheric opener with a more punishing pop-punk sound accentuated by drummer Ryan Beck’s crisp percussion. The heavy bass guitar groove by Dylan Walsh on “Sulk” gives some variety in the early going of the album, and lends itself well to the band’s attention to detail in the track sequencing. ”Stuck In the Wake” is brilliantly crafted in its delivery as it gradually picks up steam on the chorus and leaves the listener with a great reminder of why they fell in love with pop-punk in the first place. Other songs in the middle of the record like “Headspace” find the band experimenting with different tempos and beats to really aim for variety on this LP. The piano-laced “Erase Your Existence” works well in the track-listing to give the audience a bit of a breather from the hard-hitting attack from the early songs, while “Something Left To Save” just sounds like The Warped Tour during its peak of popularity. ”Chump Charity” is a rare ballad thrown into the sequencing, while “Exeter” brings the band back to a comfortable speed. The blend between “High” and the title track showcase a band willing to take a few calculated risks along the way to keep the listener focused on the variety brought forth. “Betray A Friend” is a new song tacked on to the end of the Deluxe Edition, and it sounds like a sure-fire hit for the genre, and the band pulls it off with near-ease. Another One Down! add on two other acoustic songs to the end of the album that highlights their ability to paint with wide, vibrant strokes in their pop-punk prowess to ensure they remain catchy, but memorable. There’s plenty to love and enjoy on A Bitter Descent and it makes it all worth the ride for this 16-song journey. --- Please consider becoming a member so we can keep bringing you stories like this one. ◎ https://chorus.fm/reviews/another-one-down-a-bitter-descent/

Does Growth Hacking Replace Digital Marketing?
Many entrepreneurs mistakenly believe that growth hacking is a replacement for digital marketing. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Growth hackers are marketers, but marketers aren’t necessarily growth hackers. A growth hacker is a marketer who might have a coding or programming background and who has one goal in mind: Growth.
Marketers have lots of KPIs they track, while growth hackers focus only on metrics that lead to growth: more web traffic, more social media engagements, and — most importantly — more sales.
Businesses need digital marketing, too, though. They need to take a long-term approach to certain marketing tactics, such as SEO and audience building, while they scale up quickly.
If you don’t have both a growth hacker and a marketer on your team, don’t worry. You can fill both shoes until you business is big enough to warrant adding new members to your team.
Skills and Qualities of a Growth Hacker
A growth hacker needs several skills and natural abilities to succeed. If you don’t possess those qualities, you might want to bring someone on your team to help you scale quickly.
For one thing, you need a growth mindset. If you’re fearful of growth — or if you don’t know how to scale your business — you’ll find yourself at a disadvantage.
Second, you need a strong work ethic. It takes time to quickly push out new products and roll out new marketing campaigns. Plus, you have to monitor those campaigns and products carefully, watching the data and making adjustments on the fly.
The best growth hackers are both curious and creative. They’re legitimately interested in the outcome of a campaign, whether they’re aiming for increased web traffic or higher revenues. They know how to take tried-and-true marketing tactics and turn them into something new and interesting.
Yes, you need to understand data. But you also need to be able to apply that data creatively. Innovation is built into a growth hacker’s mindset.
How to Growth Hack
The growth-hacking process differs depending on your goal. It’s true that all growth hackers view growth as the most important metric, but what does growth mean to you?
Ultimately, you want to increase your revenue as quickly and ethically as possible. Some growth hackers use black-hat strategies, which might result in short-term benefits. However, once consumers figure out the deception, they’ll evaporate like mist in the summer sun.
Growth hacking means figuring out one specific goal, then tackling it with all cylinders firing. How can you reach your goal quickly and effectively? What marketing tactics will make your vision come true?
Start by deciding what you want to accomplish. For instance, let’s say that you want to increase website traffic by 300 percent.
That’s a lofty goal. It’s also achievable. Set a deadline for yourself, such as three months, so you have an active end game for your strategy.
During this growth-hacking experiment, brainstorm ways in which to increase your web traffic. Can you write more in-depth content for your blog? Might you benefit from posting more frequently to social media and automating those posts?
The goal is to get to your goal as quickly and cheaply as possible. You can use paid solutions, such as SEM, but if you don’t have the budget, invest sweat equity, instead.
As you work toward your goal, track your process carefully. If one strategy doesn’t work, pivot and try something else. You’re looking for virality here: something that causes a rapid shift in your growth.
Setting Up a Growth Hacker Funnel
We’ve talked before about funnels here on the Kajabi website, but the traditional sales funnel isn’t the only methodology you can follow to generate quick growth. The growth hacker sales funnel focuses exclusively on reaching your growth goals.
Earlier, we talked about setting goals for your business. Do you want to increase traffic? Produce more conversions? Enjoy more sales?
Based on that goal, you create a custom funnel.
For instance, if you want more email subscriptions, you need a conversion funnel that produces maximum growth. Produce the best lead magnet possible. Update your email autoresponders to include more valuable content. Track signups, open rates, and click-through rates to measure your success.

[VIDEO] Find Joy Looking For Love Then The Love You Want Is Yours
The best way to get what you want is to pursue what you want because pursuing it is joyful. This is especially true when trying to find love as a transgender or a trans-attracted person.
That’s because “the odds” of you finding the love you want are very low…if you’re looking at the odds. Looking at the odds is what it means to be “realistic”. Being realistic means “trying hard”. It means doing what others did and their successes or failures. It involves focusing with the end in mind and “faking it till you make it.”
All of those ways can work. But look around at people doing it that way. It’s hard work. People hate the process. Hardly anyone gets what they’re after, because the path is so filled with struggle many or most give up on what they want. Or worse, they compromise. They settle for something “ok” instead of holding out for their dream.
Those outcomes happen when someone goes after something thinking the result is what they’re after. If, however, a person goes after something, knowing the journey to that thing is what matters most, the entire process and experience of the process changes. It’s no longer a struggle, it’s a joy. The process of doing becomes the purpose of the doing, not the means to the ends. And in that mind space, what one wants happens, fast.
Your action isn’t the main attraction
Why does this happen? Because when the mind isn’t focused on the end goal, the mind becomes more open to millions of avenues leading to the goal instead of the one way one thinks it must happen.
And usually, when asked, those people attribute “success” to “luck” or “god” or some other force greater than themselves that made it all possible.
It’s what happens when one surrenders.
Surrender to the journey
When one surrenders, they give up actions, but also thoughts standing in the way of the easy flow of what is wanted.
Everyone can enjoy fulfilled dreams
Compared to what’s on my list, finding a partner, for a transgender or trans-attracted person, is easy as pie. Which is exactly why I write in this blog every week how easy finding a partner is. It IS easy. When a transgender person or a trans-attracted person gives up beliefs running contrary to the love, the ideal love, they desire, what they desire will come.
Thoughts contrary to what they desire aren’t the only ones that must go though. Thoughts seemingly having nothing to do with what they want also must go. This is why it seems to take forever for most people wanting a partner to find one. It’s also why some transgender and trans-attracted people never find their partner. They aren’t willing to surrender. Meaning, they aren’t willing to give up what they must to have what they want.
The biggest thing to give up is being right. Many transgender women and trans-attracted men will swear to the accuracy of their disempowering stories about men or transgender women. Little do they know their being right is one of the biggest things keeping them from enjoying their desires fulfilled.
Anyone can have what they want no matter what it is because the Universe is a wish-granting jewel ready to deliver ANYTHING someone can formulate desire for.
All that’s required is focusing on the reason why someone wants what they want rather than focusing on the thing wanted. Doing that will naturally put one in alignment with the wanted thing, so long as the reasons feel good. If a person can remain in those good feelings, instead of thinking about how lonely they are, or how impossible the goal seems, they’ll get what they want. It’s that easy.
Feeling good is like finding
It’s easy because when a person focuses on why they want what they want and feel good in that, the desire becomes more important than the fulfillment. They don’t need the thing they want, because they already feel good without it. So the desire’s fulfillment becomes irrelevant. When a person gets there, then having what they want is icing on the cake because they already feel as they will feel when what they want comes. Feeling good about what you want, is as good as having it. And when you’re there, you’re sure to have that which you want.
If you’re struggling to find that love you want, it’s likely you’re focused too much on the end goal of having the lover, instead of enjoying the journey to the lover. It’s not hard shifting that focus. It can happen in as little as five minutes. You know you’ve done that when you feel good right now, even without having that love you want. And again, when you feel good, you’re closer to having what you want than you think.
If you want to know more about how this all works, set up a free 1:1 and let’s talk. Let’s discover how easy it is to have the love you think is impossible. It’s not as impossible as you think. All you need is a bit more joy.

𝓣𝓲𝓹𝓼 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓢𝓽𝓾𝓭𝔂𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓯𝓻𝓸𝓶 𝓗𝓸𝓶𝓮
Studying at home has its perks: it’s a comfortable, low-pressure environment. However, there are a few reasons it can be difficult to study at home; with so many distractions, it’s easy to procrastinate—when you do start, it’s easy to get off track.
At home, procrastination and distraction can prevent you from accomplishing what you need to get done. Watching TV, taking a nap, scrolling through social media, or other activities (maybe even cleaning your room!), are big productivity killers that take you away from your goal of studying for or completing that assignment.
Fortunately, there are a few tricks you can use to help you be more productive. Here are ways to help you stay focused and get more done when studying at home.
Students of all ages should get at least eight hours of sleep every school night. It’s the best way to ensure that the brain is refreshed and ready to process all of the information learned during the day. It may be tempting to stay up late to cram, but it’s more beneficial to get enough rest.
A full night’s sleep is especially important the night before a test—a good night’s sleep makes you more alert and improves memory for test material, leading to better test results.
Whether it’s the kitchen table or the desk in your bedroom, create an area to study that is a designated study zone. Try to reserve your bed for sleeping and avoid studying in it (it can be all too easy to take a nap!). Most importantly, keep your study space clean and organized so you can put more time into studying (and less trying to find a pen that works).
Don’t forget to eat! Your body (and your brain) needs fuel to help stay in top form. Plus, it’s difficult to focus when your stomach is growling. Have healthy snacks while you study, but make sure they’re prepared in advance so you don’t spend too much time away from your work. More time away means more opportunity to be distracted!
Set a time you wake up, eat breakfast, get dressed, and begin studying. If you don’t set a routine for yourself, you may find your breakfast break stretch into... lunch. A routine provides a structure to get things done, keep the little things (like showering) from falling through the cracks, and frees you to plan for times to not study as well.
I know it’s tempting to wear pajamas all day or neglect brushing your hair for 15 days in a row. After all, you’re not planning to leave the house except for picking up emergency Doritos. However, you’ll feel much better about life and your studies when you take care of yourself. Make it a point to get dressed, brush your hair, and look presentable every day. (You might end up feeling a bit more motivated, too.)
No matter how excellent your focus, if you study at home it can be virtually impossible to tune out the noise around you. Dogs, younger siblings, and ringing phones are all very distracting and difficult to avoid. A good noise-canceling headset will be a huge help in this regard! You’ll be able to preserve both your sanity and your love of those around you.
Are you a stationery person? You’ll know if you are: if browsing in Paperchase seems more interesting than browsing in Topshop; if the delight of every August is buying fresh supplies for September; if you own more blank notebooks for use on some future special occasion than you own filled notebooks that weren’t quite special enough to save.
If you have a desk full of lovely pens, pencils, note-paper, notebooks, stickers and goodness knows what else, now is the time to use them, and delight in them. Write in fancy fountain pen if that sounds like something you’d enjoy; it’s a bad idea to use it in your exam, but being forced to slow down a little when taking notes as you’re studying might help the information sink in better. Cover your notes in stickers if it means you’re more likely to reread them. After all, if it’s not to be used when you have important studying to do, why bother hoarding lovely stationery in the first place?
Although it seems convenient, studying at home can be difficult—procrastination and distraction can happen easily. But with a little bit of planning and organization, it can be an effective (and comfortable) place to study. Try some of these tips for studying at home to help you stay focused and more efficient with your study time.

Little Things Lead To And Create Big Things Everyone Wants
Some people think when practicing meditation or other manifestation process, that focusing on the big things — manifestations like jobs, money, and relationships — are the goal.
But it’s really the tiny things, those little, moment-by-moment realizations, that make the big things reveal themselves. And without those little things, the big things don’t happen. That’s because the prime objective of a Positively Focused practice is joy.
For example, a client realized this recently as he advanced in his Positively Focused practice. He’s a musician, and as he thought about his upcoming practice one day, he made a remarkable discovery.
“Before my practice session,” he began. “I had the thought ‘well, what am I going to work on today?’ Then I thought ‘oh that sounds so depressing.’”
“So I said to myself ‘I’m just going to enjoy what happens.’ So I just started improvising and really got interested in this one particular thing and off I went.”
He continued. “What happened was I put the emphasis on enjoyment, and ended up enjoying working on something that needed working on, because of the enjoyment, rather than working on something I needed to work on, which would have been boring and unenjoyable.”
It seems this little realization isn’t much. But don’t be fooled. Such little things are precursors or harbingers of big things. And the more someone focuses on these little things, especially one’s feelings, the sooner bigger things happen.
In this client’s experience he learned that a joy-orientation instead of task-orientation creates outcomes just as powerful, but much more enjoyable, than task-orientation. It’s way more fun too!
Tumblr media
^^It is law. If you’re chronically Positively Focused, your life must reflect that back to you.
The pay-offs are infinite
This kind of awareness, putting joy first, pays huge dividends. The greater one cultivates such an awareness, the more they realize we all live submerged in a sea of blessings, all happening specifically for our enjoyment.
This is the Charmed Life I write about. The experience of life as a moment-by-moment joyful experience. Were eveything one wants happens…effortlessly.
The Universe wants us all living in joy. That’s why discovering it feels so good. This client shared more of his unfolding experience later in the same session:
“There’s been a lot of moments,” he added. “Just in the last couple of weeks, where I’ve deliberately put my attention on the fact that me and society in general are all being pretty much taken care of all the time,”
“Aside from the amazing cosmic set-up allowing all this to happen,” He explained. “Even at the societal level [we’re taken care of].”
He went on describing things he realized indicate this. For example, even simple things, inventions like the rear view mirror, he said, make life so easy for everyone.
“All the things we take for granted, yet they’re made out of compassion the benefit of others…everything, everything is geared up to help each other. It’s amazing!!!”
We live among treasure troves
Indeed, these little things, like roads, traffic signals, standards and conventions, and inventions like rear-view mirrors, reveal how good life is. But only to those willing to take time to appreciate what’s really happening.
With these inventions, every one of us may move through life in relative comfort, ease and joy. We can pursue all kinds of activities. Activities bringing us satisfaction, pleasure and fulfillment.
Tumblr media
Afterwards, my client and I marveled in his realizations. And we marveled for a purpose. Because by focusing on these little things, focusing on them and appreciating them for the blessings they are, our perception broadens until life reveals its secrets.
In every life instance, every waking moment, we stand among treasure troves. Troves everyone enjoys, or takes for granted.
But when one focuses on these little things, recognizing and appreciating them, they soothe resistance born of bogus beliefs about life. Those bogus beliefs make the troves invisible. Meanwhile, these little things, things bogus beliefs make impossible to see, add up to larger blessings. They add up to things we desire, like more money, better work, peace and happiness and, yes, even love.
Castles and buttons both seen easy
Over time, as resistance gives way to a positive focus, one discovers their place at the center of the Universe. There the Universe reveals its conspiracies. There are co-created processes happening all the time that deliver to everyone everything they want.
The revelation transforms human consciousness. It creates in the individual an unshakeable certainty of one’s eternal, invincible and blessed nature.
Only those who line up with what they want get this gift. The giving of which comes through becoming Positively Focused.
Focusing on the little things is the first step. These little things Abraham calls “buttons”. Once they become visible, seeing those things we really care about, the greater manifestations, gets easier. Abraham calls those greater manifestations, “castles”.
But again, perceiving accurately the buttons unfolding in order to see castles unfolding one must cultivate that chronic positive focus. When cultivated, nurtured and maintained, resistance born of negative beliefs fades. Then, like my client, the Positively Focused person sees the bewildering reality of physical reality: the Charmed Life.
From there, buttons cause a giddy delight. Your gaze fills with them. Then and only then, riding on the momentum of evidence your Charmed Life exists, your castles start showing you steps leading to their unfolding. Like this other client expressing his wonder at how well the practice works:
Tumblr media
Are you ready?
So by deliberately focusing on life’s positive aspects, one gradually lives a chronic state of experiencing buttons lining a path leading to castles. The bigger, full-blown manifestations waiting for everyone in their version of the Charmed Lifeexist. The question is, are people ready to experience them?
Whether you are or not, I love being chronically Positively Focused. Like my clients, I see more and more evidence of unfoldings consistent with what I want. Nothing is off limits. Everything is possible. I create a life rich in abundance of all kinds.
It’s gratifying seeing my clients get there too. And when they appreciate getting there, I revel in their appreciation.
For as they do that, it confirms my own process, my own practice, my own expansion. Then our sessions become what they ultimately are: opportunities to revel together in the unfolding or our creation-rich Charmed Lives.
Are you ready for yours?

Dream tried to stop Wil from creating L'Manburg, Phil tried to stop him from blowing it up, BOTH value people over items and builds, Phil has said that they're replaceable but people aren't, Dream traded spirit for his best friends fishes (we kno he's not someone to talk abt feelings:[) BOTH were kind and selfless but used by almost if not everyone, BOTH were ready to be THE VILLAINS if it meant everyone else could live better after. ONE of them always had someone there, ONE didn't. Intentional?
aaaa sorry for the really inconsistent posts ,, im gonna try to post a little more in the next few days. i have a few things written up, so look out for them? maybe? for now, have this *gestures vaguely* thing ,, it’s kinda a mess but *shrug*
phil is such a fun character, anon, especially for all the reasons that you mentioned in the ask!! he’s a really fun character with a lot of complexities that go (sadly) overlooked by a large portion of the fandom, but he’s super cool even tho i havent analyzed him too much. hope you enjoy (and i hope my interpretation of c!phil isnt too ooc lmao)
tw: mentioned blood, injury, implied torture/abuse, starvation, trauma, mentioned death, prison arc/pandora’s vault
When Techno first brings Dream back from the prison, Phil doesn’t quite know what to think.
“I don’t trust him either,” Techno assures him, but there’s a flickering anger in the backs of his eyes, one that had emerged ever since he came back from the prison with the other man in his arms, and Phil knows his friend well enough to know that the words are empty in the face of the piglin hybrid’s particular brand of to-the-death loyalty. He shakes his head in reply, refusing to voice his thoughts for Techno’s sake, at least, but the look that the other slants at him suggests that he’s caught onto them all the same.
At first, the work is thankfully mindless; even if Phil has reservations on the man that Techno has more or less dumped into his house, he would hardly wish the clear suffering he’s been through on anyone. The first few days pass in a flurry of brewing potions, wrapping and rewrapping dressings, stitching up cuts and setting broken bones straight. The damage is extensive; Phil has to take more than a few breaks to just leave the house and breathe - he’s far from a stranger to blood and carnage, had received the title of ‘Angel of Death’ for a reason, but even he had never been particularly familiar with this form of cruelty. Torture was a level of violence that extended beyond what even he was willing to bestow - his hands may have caused many deaths, and the weight of each one would continue to haunt him for the rest of his life, but even those had the mercy of being a quick end. The wounds and scars that ripple over Dream’s skin, thin and stretched tightly over his bones with little muscle and fat left to cushion them, speak of horrors that were anything but merciful.
“I didn’t know they were capable of all of this,” Techno says, once, as they huddle of Dream, wringing towels in cold water to wipe his feverish skin. Techno’s hand reaches for the ribboning gold-filled scars that remain from the execution - carefully, Phil raises his hand to let his fingertips brush over them as well. “I mean, I knew he was dangerous and all, but-”
“I know, mate,” Phil looks back at Dream’s face, tight even in unconsciousness, at the darkened, hand-shaped bruises that remain around his throat, at the scar that runs over his left eye, clearly meant to mirror the same one that makes its way down the duck hybrid’s own face. “You said that Quackity and Sam were working together?”
“Yeah,” Techno’s expression darkens, eyes focused somewhere on the wall, seemingly very far away. He said that nothing happened to him in the prison, and he seemed relatively unharmed when Phil activated the stasis chamber, but ever since he came back, sometimes he’ll have moments, and Phil can’t help but - wonder. “Quackity does the dirty work, Sam gives him the way in and out, probably also the tools to do it. It’s-” he huffs a short, self-recriminating laugh. “It’s bad, Phil.”
“Mate-”
Techno shoots him a look, and Phil cringes, knowing already that he’d used the wrong tone. Even with the execution, Techno had been adamant to hide all traces of his own terror and fear away from him, masking it all with fury for Phil’s own sake. He knows, just from the way his old friend looks at the ribboning scars that remain sometimes, that he is far from as over the whole ordeal as he acts, but Techno never wants to talk and Phil never knows the right time to ask and they smooth it all behind plans and explosions and hope that the TNT can blow apart the trauma, too. He’s got a sneaking suspicion that the same thing is going to happen, here.
“As soon as we can,” Techno starts again, pointedly shifting his eyes away from Phil’s face, “we’re calling a Syndicate meeting to figure out what we’re going to do about the prison. Like- come on, man, you couldn’t make a more transparent abuse of institutional power if you tried, really-” he looks over, uncharacteristic uncertainty warring over his features. “If you think that’s good, I mean-“
“Of course, mate.” Phil’s voice softens. “Whenever you’re ready.”
‘Whenever he’s ready,’ as it turns out, is easier said than done, becoming even more evident when their charge wakes up from his days long spell of unconsciousness. The worst of his injuries have, under their careful care and the benefit of many potions, healed enough to no longer directly threaten his life, but the vast majority have quite some time to go before being healed completely. Being as the goal was torture and not death, most of his injuries weren’t made to be life-threatening, but rather to cause as much pain as possible - from the grimace that twists Dream’s face when he struggles to force himself awake, they’re doing their jobs.
“Hey, mate, slow down,” Phil murmurs, pressing the man down by his shoulder when Dream weakly tries to push himself up and off the bed, and his struggling only lasts for a few more minutes before he gives up and slumps against his pillow, eyes cracking open and seeming surprisingly lucid.
“Where-“ his voice is wrecked, and Phil reaches for the glass of water at the bedside as Dream coughs. “Where am I?”
“You’re at Techno’s house,” Dream’s eyes widen and then slip closed as he processes the information, a wrinkle forming between his eyebrows as they knit together. “We broke you out, after Techno escaped with a stasis chamber with your book. Do you remember?”
Dream gnaws on his bottom lip. “Um- yeah. I think.” His head turns as his eyes crack open again- “Techno-“
“He’s out, right now. He’ll be back in a bit.”
“Oh.” Dream falls back into the bed, strength seemingly sapped from the short conversation. His breathing stutters, then steadies. “Okay.”
Recovery is slow. Phil doesn’t actually find himself seeing the man very often; now that he doesn’t need around-the-clock care anymore, he’s moved back into his own house, letting Techno do most of the work when it comes to rehabilitating the escaped convict crashing at his house. As he begins to spend more of his time awake and aware, he brings a whole slew of new problems; Phil catches him screaming one day, blurting harsh, angry words as Techno reads, unbothered from the other side of the room, and he stops in his tracks standing awkwardly in the doorway.
“Um-“ he winces when Dream curses, smashes something against the floor, and then curls into himself at the sound. Techno doesn’t even flinch. “Am I interrupting something?”
Dream stomps away, face flushed, arms wrapped around himself. Techno raises an eyebrow.
“You lookin’ for something, Phil?” he asks, and the unpleasant knot in Phil’s chest refuses to unwind.
The episodes, unfortunately, don’t seem to get much better. Though he’s rarely outright violent, Dream looks constantly murderous, usually muttering underneath his breath about something or another while he stalks the grounds of Techno’s house. It’s not too long before Techno sends him out to work around the house instead of just moping within the cottage, which also means that Phil sees him a lot more - tending to a small farm behind the house, feeding the dogs, hacking away at mobs, and usually complaining the entire time. It’s unnerving, even as injured and unarmored as the man is, to see him walking around like this; despite his rather pathetic appearance, swamped in sweaters that dwarf him thoroughly and thin enough to look like the slightest breeze will knock him over, his eyes are flinty and intelligent and bubble with promises of revenge.
“FUCK!” Phil turns to see him slamming a shovel into the snow, stomping away into the woods, and his hands tighten around his cup of tea. Next to him, Techno shrugs.
“Nerd’s got a few issues,” he drawls, and Phil laughs shortly.
“That seems like an understatement.”
“He’ll ease up in time,” Techno sounds surprisingly confident, completely content despite the muffled curses that come from the woods next to them. He’s probably used to it, with Chat and all, but Phil can’t quite seem to find the same calm.
“I just don’t know, mate,” Phil shakes his head. “You sure having him around is the best idea? He doesn’t seem...stable.”
Techno looks up at him over the rim of his cup of coffee. His head tilts, considering, but there’s a small smile on his face that tells Phil that Techno, inexplicably, doesn’t share the same sentiments. There was always a part of him that was, for the lack of a better word, softer than the rest of the server for his self-proclaimed rival, a sort of understanding that Phil could hardly hope (nor would really want to) understand.
“Don’t worry, Phil, if he tries anything I can always just tie him up in the attic or something,” Phil huffs a small laugh, amused, and nods to concede the point. “And- well, call it intuition. You could really try talkin’ to him, you know. He reminds me of you, sometimes.”
The words stick in his head despite his best efforts, rattling in his skull when he tries to sleep, lingering when he catches glimpses of the green-clothed man stalking around their properties. He can’t imagine what would’ve prompted his old friend to make the comparison, can’t think of a single thing (besides their affinity for the color green) that would mark him as similar to the - from what he’s heard - deranged menace with a particular penchant for destruction (not that his rants and fits of anger are doing anything to correct that impression). Even so, Techno had sounded so sure when he’d made the comparison, the words offhand like he’d thought them a million times before, like it was a simple observation that held no more weight than commenting on the color of the sky. Phil watches as Dream lugs a pile of logs behind him, huffing at one of Techno’s dogs that comes to chase and nip at his feet and grumbling loudly before faceplanting into the snow. He just...can’t see it.
Days later, Wilbur comes to visit, a grin on his lips as he dramatically recounts his newest exploit: a nation by Las Nevadas, a supposed safe haven away from the glitter and glory of Quackity’s city; it sounds brilliant, it sounds lovely, and more than anything it sounds stupid, and Phil tells him as such immediately.
“You’re being reckless,” he rants at his son, wings flaring outwards and only barely noticing Dream watching from the corner of his eye, “What are you doing- picking fights with Quackity? Starting another nation- didn’t you see what happened to the first two you made? You’re going to get yourself killed, Wil!”
“Well, I’ve already seen what’s on the other side of death, and it’s really not that bad-“
“You’re my son!” The words are angrier than Phil would’ve liked, and he knows that he looks ridiculous and overbearing, criticizing the actions of his fully grown son, but all he can see is Wilbur’s face, slack with pain and grief, stained with ash and soot as his eyes flutter to half-mast in the midst of the rubble of a country he loved and destroyed and destroyed him in turn. “I can’t lose you again, Wil!”
Wilbur doesn’t quite storm out, but it’s a near thing, leaving with a clipped goodbye and leaving Phil seething on his doorstep. He spends the rest of the night pacing around the house in a sort of mad frenzy, wings stretching and folding over and over. Not for the first time, he longs for the sky, to feel the air through his wings and let the world fall into pinpricks below him; it’s this that leads him to the roof of his house, staring stubbornly at the clouds as the sun sinks down to the horizon.
“Hey.”
Phil startles; there, down below him, is Dream. He rocks back on his heels, seeming awkward, before clambering up the wall (Phil rolls his eyes at the ease with which he scales it, the feeling in his chest almost fond) and settling himself on the shingles at Phil’s side.
“Hey, mate,” Phil shakes his head. The fondness leaves, and the irritation that had risen at Wilbur’s words, earlier, comes back full-force. “Sorry- Wil came to visit, we talked. I just needed some time to think.”
Dream hums in acknowledgement, and they fall into a comfortable silence, watching as the sun dipping down past the mountains in the distance.
“You know,” Dream starts, sudden, “I told him the same thing.” He looks up at Phil, eyes faraway with old memories. “Wilbur, I mean. When he made L’manburg- I told him he was being reckless.” He shrugs. “I guess he never listened.”
Phil pauses, Techno’s words ringing in his ears. He reminds me of you, sometimes.
Dream looks surprisingly normal up close - face no longer reddened with fever or pale from blood loss, even the scars fail to really take from the boyishness of his face. He bites his lips, eyes falling away at Phil’s scrutiny, golden blond hair flopping over his forehead, newly trimmed to be something a little closer to his old length, at least in the front, the back pulled into a small ponytail. He’s young, and shockingly awkward, teeth worrying his lip, hands fiddling with each other, shifting his weight from one foot to the other several times a minute. He looks like a kid.
“He never does,” Phil lets himself smile, watches as Dream smiles back, almost like they’re sharing a joke. He wonders how well he really knows the man behind the mask. “Want to come in for some tea?”
Dream smiles wider, and something old and worn in Phils chest, knocked loose ever since he felt his son fall limp in his arms with his own sword shoved between his ribs, falls back into place.
“That would be great,” Dream replies, the words almost hopeful, and they go inside.
