if there was one thing jason had perfected over the years, it was hiding his emotions.

from a young age, jason was shoved into a role of leadership. he knew that if he wanted to be trusted and taken seriously as a leader, he couldn't show any sign of vulnerability.

he knew that he gave others hope, that they looked up to him. in times of despair, he was their saving grace. jason was always the shoulder somebody could cry on if they needed to.

so it happened naturally. he was always too busy to care for his feelings. and it wasn't like anybody truly cared or noticed if his smile wasn't as bright anyway.

while out and about with others, jason was always happiest guy you'd ever meet. while alone, he was a wreck. he could only push down his emotions so far for so long.

often times jason was haunted by grief. haunted by those he couldn't save in battle. people always thought they never got to him, but really, they ate him alive. he always asked himself what he did to deserve to live while others didn't.

other times he was just so tired. some days were better than others, but those days that didn't go as planned left jason feeling exhausted.

today was one of those days. everything about today just wasn't going to well for jason, and now, in the dead of night, he was able to go back and replay his day.

as jason lay sprawled out on his bed, he felt tears brimming in his eyes. he took his glasses off and placed them on his bedside table. he just wanted to curl up into a little ball and disappear.

once the tears started, they didn't want to stop. his tears fell like the raindrops racing down his window. lightning struck as a sob escaped his lips.

jason lay in a fetal position, facing his wall. he felt his eyes begin to droop, tired from a long day and crying, but quickly sprang open when he heard quick knocks on his window.

he quickly snapped up to check who it was, jumping out of his bed. he quickly sniffled and wiped his face as he walked over to the other side of his cabin, over to the window.

you stood outside his window with an umbrella, a smile on your face.

jason returned a smile before opening his window. he hadn't expected to see you tonight, but he was glad you were here.

you quickly climbed in through the window and landed with a small thump. you quickly closed your umbrella and leaned it against the wall.

"hey" you said, breathlessly. that window had no right to be so hard to climb through.

"hey, didn't think you'd be stopping by tonight" jason replied, with a small smile.

"i know, i wasn't gonna, sorry. but i couldn't sleep and i just got an update on the whole clara situation," you said quickly, as your smile disappeared and was replaced with a confused look on your face, "are you ok? your eyes and nose are looking a little red."

you stepped a little closer to jason and cupped his cheek with your hand. he was unable to meet your eyes as he slowly placed his hands on your hips.

"yea, no im fine!" jason said, an obviously fake laugh escaping his lips, "i was, um.. doing weed."

"seriosly? 'doing weed?'" jason thought to himself.

you cringed at his response. "jason.. hun, you don't 'do weed', you smoke it. and it leaves a smell. the cabin smells normal. seriously, what going on? you know you can tell me anything."

jason let out a small sigh and continued to look down, refusing to meet your eyes. he wanted to tell you how he was feeling, he knew he could trust you. he loved you and you had always been there for him during difficult times, so why was it so hard for him to talk to you about his feelings?

he felt a sob building in his throat. he bit his lower lip in attempt to keep it in, but couldn't help it. when the sob escaped from his lips, so did the tears from his eyes. his grip tightened on your waist as he pulled you in closer.

you stood there, stunned for a second, but quickly recuperated. you hugged jason back tightly. he placed his head in the crook of your neck, and every time he let a sob out, your heart began to ache even more. you had no idea he felt anything like this. to you, jason was always shining like a diamond. you should've known diamonds were made from pressure.

you stood there holding jason until his sobs stopped. he took a step back as he lifted his head up from your neck and sniffled as he said, "im sorry-"

you stopped him with a shake of your head, "no, there's nothing for you to be sorry about, im sorry i didn't know how you were feeling."

tears were still streaming down his face, and his eyes were red and puffy. you took his hand and led him over to his bed. you sat down crisscrossed on his bed, and he sat across from you, your knees touching each other.

you held his hand up to your lips and placed a small kiss on his knuckles. jason remained silent, allowing you to lead his every move.

"do you want to talk about it?" you asked softly.

jason nodded his head slowly and let out a shaky breath before saying, "i guess, i-" he paused for a second before continuing, "i just get kind of tired of being the person everyone looks up to. and i know, that may sound bad, but sometimes i just want a break, you know? and i feel like i can't get that because everybody is looking up to me."

you nodded your head, showing him you were listening.

"overtime it just builds up, i guess. most times im fine, but i dont know, sometimes, like now, it just hits me. straight punch to the face." he said, making his spare hand into a fist and making a small and soft punch motion, "a-and i just get so overwhelmed."

a few more tears slipped from his eyes as he squeezed your hand. his eyes unable to meet yours once again.

you squeezed his hand back and raised your spare hand to his face to cup it. you leaned forward and kissed away the tears that fell from his eyes. soon, they stopped falling.

you sat back down. "thank you for telling me, lightning." you whispered, "im sorry you have to go through that, i wish i had known. next time you feel overwhelmed, you know you can tell me."

you found your other hand softly playing with his hair. you knew it calmed him down, based on the way his shoulders relaxed and he leaned into your touch, you knew it was working.

"let me know anytime you want to talk about something, okay? i love you, jason" you said, softly.

jason leaned forward and planted a soft kiss on your lips, "thank you, (y/n), i love you too" he whispered.

Everyone must have seen me talking about Crescent Street's inhabitants by now. I found them one year ago and fell in love with all of them. @raccoon-eyed-rebel gifted this universe of stupid dorks living together in one house to us, and I am so incredibly grateful for that. I read every one of these chapters multiple times and I know I will do it again. Maybe it's my favorite thing in the world 🥰

@raccoon-eyed-rebel also made my New Year's Eve feeling last way into the summer and that's a good thing. Those chapter's are so much fun! Get to know all those guys and, even more important, those wonderful women who are lucky enough to get one (or two) of the boys into their beds.

The visit was going normally, until the Red paladin lets slip that he's been video calling one of the paladins fairly regularly - unknown to rest of the team.

i LOVE this fic it makes me giggle like no other. i have this in my other collection, which is fics where lance gets teased mercilessly by the team for being a gay loser. this fic makes me laugh literally every time. fics where keith is doing his blade thing but comes back regularly to visit and theyre a family who loves each other my beloved

i’ll tell you i was CRUSHED when crystalklances orphaned his account. dude i miss u every day. but thank god all his fics are still available! this one is one of my faves he ever wrote bc it has fake/pretend relationship with good communication somehow. truly art.

Lance accidentally crashes into his new neighbor in front of their mailboxes and somehow ends the night with a very attractive (and slightly concussed) date.

ive saved the best for last! i started reading this when i was a young teen (more 2016 love) and it updated steadily for years. this series redefined what love means to me. i will always have the characters in the back of my head, i will always love everything about this series and story and will hold every part of it so dear to my heart. if you have to read one series in the fandom, this one should be a top contender!

(Pokephilia mention) Pokémon Legends Z's announcement!! It'll be forever until it's released (which, as a true Pokémon fan, I'm very happy about BAHAHAH), but I'm so excited! Very curious how they are planning to implement, what seems to be, citybuilder elements... If Emmet shows up in this game, I'm going to be super delighted, but I honestly doubt it. Either way, it's made me think a bit more about the twins, and Poképhilia stuff in general as well! It's such a shame/pain the main tag is blocked... one day I will start and stick to my intention to write, like, porn about all the Pokémon, haha. A dream...

Don't really see myself writing fic about it, except for a very specific idea I had... I like the thought of Laois 'obsessed with eating monsters' Touden got to meet a monster (AKA Reader) who is equally obsessed with the idea of being eaten!! Maybe a mermaid, or something like that? It's his one chance to eat a humanoid monster! Though the others probably won't believe him when they tell him that it was 100% consensual, and are judging him harshly LMAO

Welcome Home updated! Very happy about this. Though I don't connect them publically, I actually have written quite a bit of WH fic and my sfw sideblog for it used to have more followers than this one LMAOO. Maybe one day I'll write NSFW works for it, but I dunno if there's interest... Plus, I very much fall underneath people the creator would consider 'unwelcome' in their squeaky-clean fandom or whatever, but they have like a quarter million followers now, lol. Anyway, Wally is, as has been said many times before, the Most! He draws me in <3

And also, poor Eddie, lmao. It's very interesting to me, with the inclusion of the Narrator, that the characters seem to be forced to steer in a specific direction, if that makes sense? To upkeep a certain mask. I wonder if 'as above, so below' is a reference to that, in the sense that whatever is dictated by the stronger forces of narrative, is what shall occur 'below'-- In their world. Like, the animosity some of these puppets have for each other!!!!! Some of them are just straight up Not Friends, lmao.

I need to play more of it, but if anyone is reading this, go play I Was A Teenage Exocolonist. I expected it to be waaaay more popular, especially on Tumblr, but it's so underrated? The writing is wonderful, the characters are well-defined, and the art is breathtaking! Please take a look at the trigger warnings, cuz there are a few that are definitely applicable, but it's soooo good... If it has to be said, I romanced Dys first, lmao.

I am watching The Apothecary Diaries right now, just started today, and can I jsut say... I'm such a fan of all the women in this show!! I love the perspective it gives on court life a lot! Maomao definitely is pulling in all the men AND women, huh.... i appreciate that. Jinshi also 100% wants to get degraded by her, huh. Maomao is the sexywoman of this show.

I'm posting sooooo late today but I just started a new job this weekend and I only just got home 😅 I don’t have much other than more other than this little but from my Cowboy/Rodeo AU Alright, Cowboy, Go Get 'Em:

For the first time, Buck notices the scars, one on his left shoulder and one poking out the edge of his boxers on his right thigh. Bullet wounds, still raised and red, Eddie’s been shot and recently. Buck’s breath catches, chest tightens in pain he has no right to claim, they weren’t even friends, barely more than strangers. Buck wants to ask about them, the words on the tip of his tongue but he swallows them down, he can imagine it's not something Eddie wants to talk about and it’s definitely not a ‘one night stand’ topic. And that’s what they’re both here for, sex, not to confide their traumas in an impersonal hotel room, not to tell their darkest secrets in the yellow light of the bedside lap and not to get to know each other. If I could only convince myself that’s something I don’t want.

So instead of all he wants to ask Buck says, “You’re fucking gorgeous,” and steps towards him, hands out to run his fingers over all of that bare skin and if he avoids the scars it’s only because he's not sure he can touch them without placing a kiss to them and that would surely betray how far gone on Eddie he already is.

A full day out with Yuna, and you couldn't look at any more wedding dresses. They were all starting to look the same, just white poofs of tulle. Now that she was going through planning her wedding, a part of you was glad you weren't anymore. You weren't sure what you thought when you said yes to U-jin. Maybe it was just something you were 'supposed' to do, something you do after being together for a long time.

When you got home and immediately called Hyunie. "I fucked up." Not even a hello, just straight to the point. It was excruciating hanging out with Yuna, trying not to let it slip that you fucked her little brother. Your whole body would heat up in flames whenever he was mentioned in a conversation.

"What did you do this time?" She let out a deep sigh. She knew she needed to sit down for this because it was going to be a doozy.

"I..maybe, kind of, sort of, slept with Jungkook." You said with hesitation before burying your head into your pillow. Now that some time had passed, you realized how stupid you were for letting it happen. You didn't really think about the consequences. Your pussy made all the decisions for you. But the sex was amazing and too good to pass up.

"YAH! What do you mean kind of, sort of? Dicks don't just accidentally slip in," she said with a magnified voice.

"I know! I know! Please don't yell at me! I already feel horrible." Thankfully you weren't doing this in person, you know she'd be throwing things at you too.

Hyunie sighed again. "Okay, fine. I'll save the lecture. So, what are you going to do?"

"I should tell Yuna, shouldn't I?" Were you ready for the wrath of your best friend? To be honest, no, but you needed to put on your big girl panties and be an adult, and just tell your best friend the truth.

"Well, no shit Sherlock...but have you talked to Jungkook about it?"

You were so busy with Yuna that you didn't even have time to text Jungkook. "Not yet. I haven't had any time today." It was hard to get the night before and this morning out of your head. You shuddered thinking about his lips on yours, his touch, his stupid fingers, his stupid smirk, that cocky smirk when he was thrusting into you. Ugh, this whole thing's too confusing.

"I guess talk to him and see what he wants."

"Pray for me," you groaned.

"Praying will not save you from the wrath of your best friend."

Even Hyunie didn't believe that Yuna wouldn't go ape shit when she found out the truth about you and Jungkook. There was no way this would turn out well.

That same night, you asked Jungkook if you could talk to him, so he suggested you go over and you guys could order in. He greeted you with a kiss on the cheek as he pulled you into his apartment. His place was charming and modern, just big enough for him. There was a spacious kitchen, overlooking the dining area and living room, and upstairs led to his loft bedroom.

"Someone's excited." You commented, as his face couldn't hide his excitement of having you at his place and this time you were more than just his 'Noona'. Possible fling, fuck-buddy, girlfriend? You supposed you'd find out soon enough.

"Excited you're here. I didn't know what you were craving, so I may have ordered too much."

You chuckled, looking at the spread of food on the counter. There were three different restaurant bags. "Yeah that is a lot of food."

He began to unpack the food, laying it out on the counter. "So, what did you want to talk about? You seemed really anxious on the phone."

Because you were. You were overthinking every possible detail, every possible scenario about how this whole thing could turn out, and you always came to the same conclusion - that it wouldn't turn out well for anyone. "I'm just going to get straight to the point..." You paused for a moment. "What are we doing?"

"We're eating," he said while stuffing his mouth with a piece of fried chicken.

You didn't have an appetite right now, your stomach was in knots all day thinking about this conversation. "Jungkook. I'm serious. Are we together? Messing around? Am I just a fuck buddy? Because I don't want to lie to Yuna. She's my best friend and it's different for you, because she's your sister and she'll forgive you because she's stuck with you, but she can kick me to the curb for all I know–"

"Noona–" He could tell you were getting worked up, so he put down his food, giving you his full attention. "What do you want us to be?"

That was difficult to answer, to be honest, there was no good answer. He was your best friend's little brother, a boy you've known your whole life. He wasn't supposed to be more than that. "Well...I know I like you but I also know that I'm a lot older than you, nine years to be exact, and that we're probably in different places in terms of what we may want for the future. I guess there's also a fear of our families not approving of our relationship, especially my mom."

"Your mom loves me," he grinned.

"I know, but that's because she's known you forever. She's only known you as baby Jungkookie, not Jungkook, my boyfriend."

"I like that, Jungkook, the boyfriend."

"Jungkook...I'm having a crisis here," you said as you buried your face in your hands.

"Sorry. Okay, yes. Me, you, what are we?" He took a moment to think about it. "I like you and I think you're beautiful and extremely cute at the same time. I know I love waking up to you in the morning and I don't care what other people think, as long as we're happy."

You groaned at his answer. "That's easier said than done. What about Yuna?" For sure, you knew Yuna would flip out. There was no way she'd be down for you and her baby brother getting together.

Jungkook shrugged. "What about her? You don't think she'll be happy about us?"

"Not if we keep sneaking around like this. You have no idea how hard it was to be with her all day and I had to make sure I didn't let anything slip."

"You don't like sneaking around?" he asked, giving you a shit-eating grin.

You rolled your eyes. Frankly, you've never done a casual type of situation, you were never that type of person. "It feels wrong, like I'm doing something I'm not supposed to."

He came around to give you a back hug, and nestled his chin on your shoulder, and you leaned into him. "I'll do whatever you want to do. How about that?" He gave you kitten kisses on your shoulders, moving your hair out of the way, so he could make his way to your neck. A little whine left your lips as he gripped his hands tighter around your waist.

“I could eat you instead.” You turned around and playfully smacked him in the arm as he softly laughed. “What? You didn't like this morning?”

“I didn't say that...but our relationship should be more than just sex.” Again, you didn’t do ‘casual relationships’. If this was going to happen, then you wanted more than just that. At least that's what you think you wanted.

“Boo,” he teased playfully.

“I'm leaving,” you whined, starting to walk away from him. You were having a literal crisis at hand, and you couldn't understand how he could joke at a time like this. The fate of your friendship was at stake here.

His bunny smile made an appearance along with his dimples. “You're so cute when you're mad.”

“Kook...." whining again, practically having a meltdown in his kitchen. There might as well have been an angry storm cloud following you at this point. It was shitstorm after shitstorm for you.

He held out his hand. “C'mere.” You took his hand and he pulled you into him. “Can we just keep 'us' a secret for a little while? I like having you all to myself without worrying about Yuna, your mom, and what everything thinks about us.”

Of course the thought of that sounded nice, but was it realistic? “Jungkook…”

“Just for a week or two. I just want you all to myself for a little bit.”

A week or two? You didn't know if you could keep a secret like this for very long. It would be eating you alive at every waking moment. Everything in you was flashing red, telling you it wasn't right, that it would somehow come back to bite you in the ass. You didn't agree but you also didn't disagree with what he suggested.

The two of you spent the evening hanging out and talking. You sat in his lap as he showed you a new game he was developing at work.

“This is an FPS.”

“FPS? You gotta explain this terminology to me. I'm an old lady, remember?”

He chuckled at your innocence. “First person shooter.”

“Okay, got it. Keep going.”

He continued geeking out and becoming giddy when he talked about his work. You thought it was endearing. You grabbed your phone to check the time but it was dead. You asked Jungkook for the time, he said it was 10:30PM. It was late and you had an early morning at work the next day in the writing room. You decided it was time to go and call it a night.

“You could stay.” He suggested with a pout, knowing full well that you weren't even prepared to stay over - no extra clothes, toothbrush, etc.

You chuckled at his effort in convincing you to stay. “It sounds very tempting, but I shouldn't. Maybe next time.”

"Oh--so there's gonna be a next time?"

You rolled your eyes at the cute but annoying man. "I mean I can go and never come back."

"No, no, no...don't do that." He grumbled as he took your hand in his and led you to the door, making you back up against it. His hands gripped your waist and your arms swung around his neck to bring him in for a kiss. You gently bit down on his bottom lip as you pulled away.

“Please don't go,” he whined.

You laughed. “I see I did my job in making you want more, so it's time to go.”

He continued whining as he opened the door for you. He cupped your face, peppering kisses all over your face. You giggled, telling him to stop so you could leave.

"What in the actual fuck is going on?" Yuna exclaimed, dropping the bag in her hand.

i watched the show growing up, gleaned episodes here and there, but i got interested in sp ( boo, ik, ik! ) through tiktok and specifically fell in love with the base concepts for stan/kyle with very little knowledge of canon and the side characters. ( i just don't really like interacting in fandoms...drama and stuff like that gives me The Ick. )

and when i made pep!stan and kyle i went...almost completely off vibes and characterizations i thought would fit, flying by the seat of my pants, completely blind...so the fact that so many people thought they were accurate was...very special to me considering i really came in knowing jackshit nothing about sp.

my point is that i guess i am seriously humbled and honored that my sp fics have kept your interested in sp for so long considering i feel like such a south park imposter! a fake! fraud if you will!

but i'm glad that they still feel tied to the show you know and love <3 even if they arent totally accurate to the sp canon, i feel committed to telling you guys a story with good characters and strong plot, so im glad that you are attached to my portrayals of stan and kyle and the world i loosely adapted from the show in both fics. <3

one last secret is my sp hyperfixation really wanes in and out ( i think its due a lot in part to the stress peppermint caused me ) and on bad days i want to quit cold turkey because of the dead tag/how long itll take me to get my fics where i want them to be, but seeing messages like this in my box ( the same way you might feel when i update ) really, really inspire me to come back and keep writing. <3333
