Your Crimson character kinda reminds me of Mary from the comic Deathsitter. Shout out to all the crazy characters with psychosis your my all my favorites! So is Crimson the player or something? I'm kinda new to LV triangle.

yeah! they're basically how the in universe characters see the player character as!

(not frisk or Chara but the red heart you behind the screen influence. your personality projection. your WILL... or in crimsons case ... they're dusttale player! the being behind the time loop and endless slaughter!)

LV triangle is a ship name for a love triangle between dust sans, crimson and reader!

it's kinda meta (we don't talk about the fact that reader and crimson are technically from the same world. just imagine reader is a normal in universe you that didn't hop dimensions and has always been there.)

dust and crimson are just mortal enemies... except crimson flirts with dust as they're getting brutally stabbed from time to time. (they're so goofy and a simp for dust I love them)

while dust hates crimson he indulges them in the romance in order to fluster or distract them and then stab them in the chest.

they do flirt but from dust it's manipulation. from crimson? it's honest but a twisted obsession.

these two are technically both yandere for each other except dust wants crimson's LV and not their love... while crimson wants both XD.

and reader is stuck in between these two unpredictable crazy goobers trying their best to deescalate the situation...

crimson is a player in particular who played A LOT of resets. and I mean like... a lot.

speed runner levels of obsessive.

genocide after genocide, not necessarily because of wanting or expecting something new but because they simply couldn't accept the game ever... "ending".

a goofy chaotic force of unfathomable logic defying willpower, they're contradictory and VERY ENERGETIC and competitive. they're terrifying if needed be then switch to being a silly goof.

they treat death and torture as a small minor incontinence. they DARE others to hurt them. they can't be hurt. not physically at least.

crimson is an agent of chaos and obsession. a longing lonely entity neither human nor monster who seeks company in enmity and hatred.

because hatred binds people. hatred has proven to be a stronger driving force than love.

they have been left alone behind the barrier countless times with each pacifist timeline.

but in genocide? who needs those forgetful friends when you have an adversary that will REMEMBER YOU FOREVER? that's even BETTER than having friends. to constantly sharpen their skills, better their speed and combat. to face someone on their own terms.

they may act ruthless and evil... but most of it stems from their abandonment. yes it's selfish but they're TOO ATTACHED to this world to let go even if it hurts them and everything around them.

it stems from them being of a different plain of existence. where the reality of an eternity of pain and suffering is more of a fleeting dream for a moment for them.

they cling onto what little pain they can cause because it's precious. an eternity is still too much of a short time. even for anomalies like them that should have left this world xxx lifetimes ago.

crimson is the angel. at least... one of the angels. an angel that brought it's heaven to the world instead of returning to it's own world.

oh yeah let me just pause that ska cover of no children. engage's release reawakened (<- intentional wording) an old demon you are in for a treat

once upon a time in 2018 or 2017 idk time is fake i played a game called fire emblem awakening and my brain chemistry was altered forever. i got particularly attached to the avatar protagonist (read: character you're supposed to project onto despite being a more or less fully realized character) who's some person named robin. yes, i have had category 7 adhd moments about two characters named robin and you can make the argument that it happened back to back. sue me etc

fun fact i did the math, i've watched every single support conversation with robin in it multiple times. there's 43 characters in awakening according to my notes and because robin is an avatar they get a support chain (4 conversations but we're calling it 3 because i never watched most of the S supports) with every character in the game. across two genders and assuming that i included spotpass characters which i in all likelihood actually didn't, that's 252 conversations that each take 1 or 2 minutes to get through, or about 4 hours of content for one session of watching every single robin support.

point is i know a lot about the character and am so normal. so so normal i promise

now i can tell when i've taken a couple facets of a canon character and sprinted off into the sunset with them. absolutely, without question, i did that here. so robin's story potential in a setting where awakening could be better written contributes a normal amount to why i like the character so much. i'm just gonna talk about why

in short, the deal with robin fire emblem is that they woke up in a field with no memories and as it turns out that's probably for the best because they're the child of the high priest of the religion centered around reviving the BBEG, and also they carry the blood of the BBEG in them and can get possessed by it. and the BBEG wants to bring about the apocalypse also important note. in the original awakening timeline robin befriends chrom (mortal enemy by blood) and later betrays and murders him before being possessed by grima BBEG and bringing about the end of the world. it's also worth noting that chrom and robin have chemistry they're not just a popular ship because they're both major characters i really love chrobin and i do also fluctuate between reading robin as aro/ace and bi because like, look. maybe i'm projecting a little but disregarding the S supports because they have to write the C-B-A supports as almost entirely nonromantic due to how awakening's matchmaking mechanics function they really do strike me as married to the grind in a way that's pretty aro of them tbh

there's a part of my brain that sincerely believes they would not have gone the amnesia route if robin wasn't meant to be an avatar protagonist (they're a deuteragonist until act 3 but who's keeping track really (me. i am)), and if they had not gone the amnesia route awakening would have been a lot cooler, because the mortal enemies by blood thing would've been on the table way before halfway through act 2. it's a very good source of emotional conflict for both robin and chrom though i imagine chrom wouldn't really discover this information until the middle part of act 2 or potentially act 3. there's a lot of different ways to write robin in this scenario that are SO COOL AND INTERESTING also like on the one hand robin could be completely on board with the infiltrate the shepherds and kill chrom before ascending to satanhood bit but gradually become genuine friends with a lot of the shepherds and realize "oh what if... what if this is all really fucked up actually and i don't want to bring about the end of the world" there is so much potential in that, alternatively robin starts already wanting out of everything the grimleal stand for and has to grapple with knowing their time with the shepherds is not built to last, or at least thinking that, because you know they're the child of the high priest of a cult that is extremely influential in their home country, they would've grown up entrenched in certain rhetoric about the state of the world and their place in it. if robin's character arc was about cult indoctrination and escaping that it would FUCKING BANG! IT WOULD GO HARD AS HELL! and you don't have to ditch the wider story theme about defying destiny and how people are made strong by their relationships even a little bit to pursue that because adding that element in would synergize perfectly with the broader theme already

either way if robin wasn't an amnesiac it would create some fantastic points of tension in the story if handled properly because a) ylisse (good guy country) and plegia (grimleal bad guy country) have a very poor relationship politically for a good though severely underexplained reason, which either gives the shepherds a reason to be very wary of robin at first or gives robin a reason to be very wary of the shepherds at first depending on how you're playing out the prologue. as an aside frederick should have recognized robin's outift as that of a grimleal worshipper it's a stupidly minor detail that i will die mad about. b) idk i feel like the stuff that happens with robin in act 3 where they for real get possessed and forced to betray the shepherds a few times would hit more like a freight train if there was more context, mostly because i think it would affect robin a lot more knowing the amount of effort they had to put into to getting this far and distancing themself so much from grima only to succumb to something outside their control just by getting within like 20 feet of their dad or something idk c) if you go the covert enemies to found family route i don't think robin can be normal about that and it sets up for a potentially really fun confrontation about robin's motives that would have to happen in the late game after the character has progressed in the optimal direction for it

also they fit the bill for a [mars] character very well like i would play a character with that sort of personality and that sort of backstory in a TTRPG campaign and that's the condensed way to describe my blorbo formula. i've said this before but i like playing characters that are just some guy personality-wise, both robins fit the bill for that but m!robin a little more cause yeah i don't play a lot of women in TTRPGs and the [mars] character formula for women is a little bit different. not by a lot mind you but eh. generally though yeah sure they're a very shrewd tactician and pretty good at reading people from what i remember, their accomplishments and backstory in-game might make them seem larger than life but you know in reality they're a generally pleasant person albeit a bit sarcastic and prone to social blunders that are mostly benign. like as a character both robins are more grounded than a decent portion of the cast and my gimmick as a player and as an enjoyer of characters in silly media is going for the most grounded characters. you know like you could very believably meet someone like that in real life. anyway i'm a fan of characters that are hypercompetent in a specific field and at least a little dorky outside of that. robin is a hypercompetent dork so it's perfect

Anyways here we go explaining the lore of my funny eldritch hedgehog mom.

She's somewhat like a mix between Toriel from UT, Sonic.EXE and maaaaaaaybe Monika from DDLC.

So Sari is a creation from another OC I made that's inspired from another EXE I saw called *coughs* Sark from I think.. Sonic.EXE Nightmare Version? Or Spirits Of Hell., But.. I basically just took his name and expanded on that. (His name unlike "Sark" is "Sarkar'thor", just know this doesn't mean they're the same person they aren't.) but this isn't about him (he's evil and we hate him).

Sari was basically created by him (Sark) as some type of companion to aid on his quest to take over humanity to turn it into his perfect playthings typical EXE antics (totally not just stripped from Lord X) and maybe be his female mate, at first he created her to be 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙝𝙞𝙢, egotistical, cruel all that bad stuff. And to really only love and care about him, he was very controlling of her existence and life (And mentally and psychology abusive) Really bad dude.

Eventually after years maybe even centuries of her life being controlled by this abusive tyrant.

The world or universe experienced a reset.

What's a reset? In the series (CoMaB) I made, a Reset is the last resort Sylvia (basically corrupted pokejesus) will do in this simulation and reset everything how it was from the beginning so the others can do other things to change their routes and destinies and not do the same thing again. The only people who remember their past from the resets are Sylvia, and unfortunately Sarkar'thor.

After this reset, Sari finally got a hold of her mind with the help of a few friends (mainly Sylvie) and managed to leave Sarkar. Vowing vengeance against him for his actions against her, and against anyone or anything that acts like him. So this is where her being an anti-hero comes in.

Instead of her targetting innocent humans and such to her game, her game is targetted to abusive people, or p3dophiles really bad people. Lustful monsters that prey on the vulnerable. And for the victims tries her best to help them to get help, without showing her form to them. She doesn't want to cause fear amongst humans. She just wants to protect and understand.

Sari has many enemies don't get me wrong, some of the EXEs don't agree with her actions, others hate her. Though some like her, or just don't care enough to be bothered. She just has a seething hatred against Sarkar for obvious reasons, he doesn't change. I don't think he ever will. Another Villain we have that goes against her is a demon queen from Hell who took her form via her shadow because she was interested in her power, and well "A Goddess that's mentally struggling with her past and identity is fun to toy with." This demons name is Xaenixia or just Xae for short. She's the exact opposite of Sari, in every possible way. I'll have to explain her too. Her main goal is to ruin this Goddess's status to the mortal realm and spread misconceptions about her. Well that's her goal towards her, her main one is just maintaining her kingdom in Hell (She's the Embodiment of Lust and Desire, Queen of the Lust Circle).

Bonus information bout Sari.

- Her original design was inspired by a FNF mod of "Too Slow" for a female Sonic.EXE, and honestly she was a joke character at first until I really liked her character and wanted to see how it would be like to have a total opposite of Sonic.EXE gender and intentions, everything.

- Sari was either born with gigantism or it's just her making herself tall, but her canon height is 9'6ft.

- She likes cooking.. Like it's one of her favorite hobbies when she's not saving victims from Sarkar or the other EXEs (mainly just Sarkar) or her Victim's victims.

- Sari is canonically Lesbian, after her ordeal with her past partner she shut herself off from men because of trauma, and realized how much she really liked woman and appreciated them. She doesn't hate men, or anything. It's just.. The idea of being appealing to her was ruined.

- Sari has a weird hobby to adopt children who have no family, or children whose families were killed, ect. Or redirect those kids to a better family. She currently has two children who are close to her and live with her in her dimension. And they are this series versions of Needlemouse and.. *coughs* Cesar Torres from TMC. (Basically, Mark gave Cesar Sarkar's disc, Cesar played it, and got sucked in by Sark, he was gonna get killed by him but Sari stopped and saved him from his demise of being his puppet, and since he was able to avoid his death from being an EXE she then let him go back to his world. Which.. He then got killed by and Alt, ect. She saw that, and checked on him. Then dragged him back to her world so he wouldn't cause any harm to humans and teach this "new" Cesar how not to.. Well be evil. Sari and Gabe also met, they hate each other) for Sarah (Needle) she just adopted her as her mother and tried to help her with her problems and give her some affection and love she needed. Since she can't move on to the afterlife, she's stuck in the digital world. Might as well make it comfortable?.

- Sari has a light British accent, I don't know why I just thought that would be nice so yeah. She's British, but she can change it, she was just created with one at first and she stuck with it.

- I usually think she can sing, and for that it's kinda like ethereal like music? Like.. Emma Shapplin or Artesia, or Enya. Ect.

- She one of the small handful of beneficial EXEs, like I said. She's also an Eldritch Goddess, like Sarkar'thor. Who basically made her to be just like him, a spitting image of him but female.

- Sari's age is currently unknown, but she's been on earth for about.. Around 400,000+ years, if that.

- I made Sari on Wednesday, December 29th of 2021, so she's a Sagittarius. But in lore birth date is also unknown, she goes by this so humans don't.. Get suspicious. It's also easy to remember.

So there's Sari, I might add onto more, there's so much information about her.

I have a confession: I like Shockblurr but I like a very specific type of Shockblurr. I don't like the ones where Blurr is shown as being helpless or powerless against Shockwave because I don't usually like extreme power imbalances in my ships.

My favorite type of Shockblurr is enemies to (not quite) friend to lovers, where Blurr has been rebuilt from being a cube and is furious at Shockwave and is ready for revenge. And Shockwave's response is simply "I crushed you once, I can do it again." They have become mortal enemies who will stop at nothing to get their revenge or eliminate a threat.

But just as they're about to end each other, they discover that they have to work together for the greater good, usually because a third force is threatening both Autobots and Decepticons which results in a team up between the two factions. And of course, that means the two best spies in both factions have to work together.

So you get them going on missions, snapping at each other the whole time, purposely making their jobs harder by either "accidentally" spilling drinks on their datapads or stealing their leads, and secretly hoping the other one gets killed. But then one of them (99% of the time it's Shockwave) does get very injured and instead of being happy, the other one (99% of the time it's Blurr) is very distressed and worried about them. Queue the "wait why do I care about him" thoughts followed by becoming very worried and protective over the other after they've recovered. Like Shockwave gets hurt and recovers and now this tiny feral speedster is being incredibly protective of everything he does. Eventually we get the honest and sincere feelings confession but not after a series of fumbles and tumbles and poorly hidden flirting.

Bonus points if they have to pretend to be a couple at some point.

Ahh, thank you so much! I have loads of headcanons about Larkin (some of them made it into that Lookbook Challenge I did with her) - even though the mystery is part of the character. I'll do my best to answer these, sorry if they're a bit rambly 😇

❤️: OTP - It should come as no surprise that nobody in Walden qualifies. 😂 Her flighty nature is part of her character - and that of many fae - but it isn't as simple as her being a player. The tragic truth is that Larkin can no more help the effect she has on mortals any more than they can help being drawn to her - it's a parasitic relationship, and it goes both ways. She is also incredibly old - 3500 years lived in the mortal world, but it's impossible to say exactly how old she actually is - time flows differently in Faerie. She has tried all kinds of relationships since then - including committed, monogamous ones - but they were all at least partly tainted by her unnatural influence, and sooner or later she's had to watch those partners destroy themselves and/or ultimately die. So it's really little wonder that she now takes a casual, live-in-the-moment approach to her relationships. Not that she is actually remorseful either - she does enjoy indulging her love of companionship and new experiences. The only person she could really have a healthy relationship with as equals would be another of her kind - a pureblooded fairy. They are extremely few and far in between however...

💔: No OTP - just about anyone could be listed here but I'll go with Tess because it illustrates the divide between Larkin and "regular" people best of all. They are both immortal, but Larkin is old and jaded; Tess is young, recently turned into a vampire, and hasn't yet experienced the tragic aspects of immortality. Tess still wants what she wanted as a mortal - a home, domesticity, a family. Larkin has done all that many times before, she knows that such things can only be temporary, and ultimately doomed to fail. Even her daughter will be gone one day, but her reasons for procreating were stronger than the painful knowledge that she will have to watch Vernoraxia die some day.

😊: Friends - Larkin has many many acquaintances and admirers, but nobody she can really call a friend - she hopes her daughter can become one. As it turns out however, Vernoraxia seems to take more after her human father than her.

💀: Enemies or Rival - Julius Merridew (she doesn't count Fiona as one, due to her youth) Larkin disdains warlocks and witches, she thinks them children playing with forces they don't understand, on the other hand magic users are among the few mortals not susceptible to her powers, which makes them dangerous.

👜: What's always on their bag - Her makeup kit, of course. ;)

📰: Section of the Newspaper they read - I don't think Larkin reads the newspaper much. :))

🎒: University Major - Being what she is, she's never actually been to university as a student, but she did write a volume of sonnets which gained some critical acclaim in the 60s, and was invited as a guest lecturer on comparative literature at Britechester. After she was gone, it was remembered as one of the weirdest semesters in living memory, when several students and members of staff produced some of the best material the college had seen for a long time, but at the same time started acting very erratically and out of character...when the mysterious poetess Honoria Sweet (her name at the time) vanished, one of them quit his job and proceeded to try and track her down, to the point of obsession. Two of the brightest students in the year burned out and were unable to finish their degrees.

🔮: Something Random - She sailed with a band of pirates for a while - yes, really.

5 - Is Obikin your OTP in the Star Wars verse? Or do you love other ships just as much?

It is definitely my OTP, both in Star Wars and in any fandom. They're teacher and student, best friends, brothers in arms, mortal enemies, and lovers (in my little shippy heart anyway lol). They're everything to each other and they're canonically soulmates— if there's another pairing that comes close, I haven't found it yet :) 14 - What do you like about the Obikin dynamic?

I love how multifaceted and complex their relationship is, like I said above. I love how they banter and bicker out of deep love for each other, how they're able to be so close as to be almost codependent while still having this massive tragic gulf in communication between them. And honestly from the sexy side of things I love specifically that Obi-Wan is a mentor figure to Anakin and the way that plays out in their romantic relationship. Call me a freak but it revs my motor lol.

What would the gym leader act like if they're feral? Like raised by pokemon their entire lives/survival instincts/ isolated for a very long time/ feral not the other ones. (I'm sorry if you don't want to do this the only reason why I'm asking is because your rules didn't prohibit this or I miss interpreting it. I have read your rules like 3 times before typing this.)

Milo was raised by grass types, who make very good parents and raise Milo well. He’s a vegetarian by default of course (raised on nothing but fruits and veggies) and he’s still just as strong. He’s not great with people because he’s not socialized but he’s very kind and gentle.

Nessa is an incredible swimmer. She was raised on the beach exclusively, so the first time she sees grass she freaks out. She somehow learned to live off of raw seafood and kelp. She’s a lot more aggressive than Milo because her pokemon weren’t as gentle. But she’s still kind and learns very quickly.

Kabu is practically fireproof. Burn scars everywhere, but he’s fine now. He’s probably the only one that gets to eat cooked meat because pokemon usually don’t know how to cook. He’s very aggressive because that’s just how fire types are. He can’t stand even a little cold.

Bea is also extremely aggressive. She learned to fight literally everything that moved. However, she is incredibly strong for it. She doesn’t socialize with other humans and she doesn’t care to. She would have to be contained because she would be a huge danger to other people.

Allister’s situation reminds me of a book I’m currently waiting to arrive so I can read it. It’s called ��The Graveyard Book” and it’s about a boy who was raised by ghosts in a graveyard. Anyway, he’s pretty much the same honestly, just less able to deal with other people than usual. Maybe even developed some ghost powers because...? Ghosts? I guess?

Opal was raised in the Ballonlea woods and was actually pretty normal. She learned how to just Exist. She lives like a fae, and honestly? People leave berries and whipped cream out for her so she doesn’t break in and steal their shit. People think she can curse you and seeing her is either a very good omen or a very bad one.

Melony became able to withstand temperatures way too cold for normal humans. She almost died but she made it through. She hates anything warm enough to melt snow. She and Kabu are friends in canon, but they’re mortal enemies in this feral au (sure it’s an au now I needed a name for it). I’m not going to get into how she had kids if she wasn’t socialized so don’t fkn worry about it.

Gordie was born into an ice pokemon family, but he left because ice types don’t make the best parents. He was taken in by rock types and learned to be tough like them. All I see is that scene of young Toph and the Badgemoles honestly (yes, I’m still on my ATLA bs don’t fuckin worry about it). He barely feels a scratch anymore, but he lost his inability to tolerate the cold.

Piers is a wild animal. Probably has rabies. Yes, bites. But the bond between groups of dark type pokemon are strong. He takes care of his sister and is extremely protective. Another one that would have to be detained because he’s a danger to himself and others just because of how wild he is. He’s 100% a bad omen. But Spikemuth leaves food out for him and Marnie because they just love him and his band of Zigs/Linoones/Obstagoons so much.

Raihan is incredibly strong and he can withstand any condition just because he had to survive in all conditions while living with dragons. He’s a legend. People have tried to find him, but he’s super elusive. Try and catch him? No way, he’s already climbing that cliff and is gone. Can’t catch him can’t stop won’t stop. He runs into Leon and they fight every time they see each other.

Leon was raised on the Isle of Armor. His brother was taken in and socialized, so Hop isn’t there while Leon is raised by all sorts of pokemon. He’s incredibly powerful and could easily defeat any of the other gym leaders because he didn’t just learn from one type. I could see him being raised mainly by a Ditto. Hop leaves to find him and take him in so he can have a normal life, but he’s already and adult and it’s kind of too late. Hop is the only person who Leon won’t/doesn’t attack though, because he remembers Hop from many years ago.

Oh, by the way, have you heard of the book “Ferals?” I’m currently reading it and it’s pretty good. I actually like it a lot.

Love and Redemption, eps 31-40 (painful thoughts lol)

I love these posters, they’re beautiful.

Well, I officially hate everyone who likes to claim they're such good guys. Because in this drama, chances are, if you have to say it over and over again or you have justify yourself in the name of the greater good, you're actually full of shit. I feel like an overdramatic after watching these last ten eps, because before I clearly didn't know how much more bad things could get and I still haven't seen the worst, but I made such a fuss and now I can't even be angry lol I'm just so worn out, so tired and want my happy ending now. Yep, this is totally a fun drama to watch!

Anyway, no matter how bad things ended after these ten eps, I feel like this has been the most rock solid the relationship between the OTP has been. And with such good moments, and I don’t mean hot and heavy makeouts, I’m talking about trust and loyalty. I just wish Sifeng would’ve told Xuanji the truth about him being a golden bird demon, that way she would’ve never doubted him or be in pain because of it. And it was so heartbreaking to see that moment. All went to hell, people were dying and fighting, their parents (in retrospective it was obvious that the sect leader from Lize was Sifeng’s father but wtf who puts a lover’s curse on their own child? especially if you have been through it?) telling them the other never cared for her/him and they were just there, in the middle of the battle with tears in their eyes. So saaaaaad.

I loved that Dijun heard this bit! Of course that only makes him angrier and super jealous, but I love to see it gets to him, it’s a little win.

It was obvious the drama was going to go the “his father killed her mother therefore they cannot be together” route *facepalm* Of course! Because the world and the 3 realms are against them! His father didn’t really do it, as we found out later but that was enough to shock Xuanji for a good while. She still trusted him, but she was wary because Sifeng lied to her. I get it, but at the same time, Xuajin dear, can’t you see this is exactly what he feared? There was a reason he didn’t tell you.

I feel like I’m a step closer to finding out how Sifeng and Xuanji came to know each other when she was still a God and why he followed her to the mortal realm and had to get through 9 lifetimes together. Didn’t fanfic writer from heaven told Tengshe that, when Dijun married another woman (and btw isn’t he still married? the heck?), God of War went away and her only company were some golden birds? Am I reading too much into it? But, isn’t that weird? That was after the big war with the demon realm, where she defeated the Star of Mosha... so is Sifeng really him? I’m super confused.

HAHAHAHAHAHA The audacity from this man knows no limits. I couldn't believe he dared to say something to Tengshe when he has been sticking his nose into Xuanji's mortal life for years! I HATE HIM more than the bad guys. To me, he’s the number one enemy and I fear my hate for him will only grow more. I want to see him fall, real bad and real hard, from glory. I want him to suffer and to be punished. I don't care by whom or by what (but can I suggest OTP for the job?) I just need for him to end on a really really bad note.

Also, I love Tenshe. That episode where he met OTP, was gold, from beginning to end. I laughed so hard and I’m documenting here that it was ep 32, so that I can always go back and watch it when the story gets too angsty or sad. It was amazing and it had so much smiling/amused Sifeng, what else can you ask for? Also, Tengshe became a powerful ally and moved forward the plot: he helped rescue Linglong (more on that later), he told OTP what he knew abut God of War/Dijun “love” story, which left Sifeng thinking (and I’m sure will come into play later), he had the softest interaction with Linglong when everybody else refused to tell her where was Minyan. And he protected Xuanji so many times, despite saying he wouldn’t do it. He’s the best, he loves food and notices important things when there’s drama.

Demon fox and Merman doctor continue to rank high on my list of favorite characters as well. It’s the mortals from the “good” sects the ones I’m having issues with. And Xuanji’s father. For a moment, when he gave his blessing to OTP I thought I could forgive him for torturing Sifeng, but not anymore.

My sweet badass Linglong finally got rescued, but after 15 eps of being kidnapped, the weird thing would’ve been that she returned as if nothing had happened. I felt bad for the flower demon that helped Minyan and traitor friend from Lize, because she thought creepy bad guy actually had feelings for her and in the end, she got killed. It was terrible that Linglong remembered everything that happened when she was captive, but of course, this drama doesn’t spare anyone. I thought she wouldn’t! My poor girl was so traumatized, felt so guilty and was so depressed that she tried to kill herself but thank God Minyan stopped her. Oh, Minyan, okay, okay, I apologize to you, I misjudged you. You’re not a favorite yet but I like you and I’m so glad my Linglong has someone like you by her side. Just give Sifeng a chance (I’m not asking that of Linglong bc my girl has been through enough, I understand her).

*deep sigh*

Now, the biggest problem. I have raised my eyebrows so high at all the people from the sects they almost reached my hairline bc, from what I've seen, Xuanji is way more unhinged and dangerous when she is in God mode than my dear Sifeng, a demon, has ever been (till now I've never seen him with as much more than an distant and cold attitude let alone really angry), he is always in control of his emotions and a big part of that is thanks to the fact that he keeps his mind clear and is able think with reason and logic something everybody from the sects lacks. So why are all so angry and scared of Sifeng when they should be fearing Xuanji?

I'm not saying "lock her in the dungeons without food" they did it with Sifeng though but maybe like, I don't know, get some magical therapy to see through her head, advise her to meditate or something. As much as I love that girl, she's a ticking bomb and I've seen her about to kill her friends and the people she loves a few times now, because she doesn't recognize them in that state and Dijun loves to delulu himself into thinking he knows what’s best for her ugh. Why does no one find that scarier than a bunch of demons who disguised themselves through centuries just to avoid being killed and have been lying on the low trying to keep peace with the other sects? Oh, I know, because you're all a bunch of prejudiced racists assholes.

Tbh I kinda want Sifeng to go bad. I don’t think he has it him but I’m just so tired of him always being so good... what for? Rise, demon Sifeng! Be angry!

Who are these 9 boys?

Kim Woojin: The 3rd year, chicken enthusiast with an angelic voice and an adorable smile.We met when we got paired up for a school trip. I was so nervous about being next to a 3rd year (that I didn’t know) that I barely looked at him for at least the first 30 minutes of the trip. His age plus his broad shoulders and tall stature, only served to intimidate me more. Oh, how wrong I was to think he’d be any bit intimidating.

In truth, his body type only added to his personality in a way that made him resemble a giant, cuddly, teddy bear.

He was gentle and polite as he tried to get me to come out of my tightly sealed shell, with lame jokes and the cutest laugh.

We even shared my earphones, which was how I found out about his utterly divine voice. After complimenting him, he blushed a pretty pink, and asked about my own hobbies and talents. After much prying, he was able to figure out that I also loved singing, but had little to no confidence at all in my own voice (especially after hearing his).

So by the end of the trip, he promised to help me show my voice to the world. And he’s unknowingly succeeded, considering that when we’re alone, he’s my whole world.

Bang Chan: The 3rd year, Student Council President and an aspiring artist, who was too afraid to take a step in the direction of his dreams, so he is now stuck in a path that he doesn’t want to follow.

He is also my neighbor, who gives me a ride to and from school everyday, I’ve learned a lot about him during these rides (and I can only guess, that so has he), like the fact he has a puppy (from the dog hair in his backseat) and that he writes music (really good music). He’s seen all of me: he’s heard me sing more than once (sorry Woojin) and I’ve even broken down in his car (and he held me through it).

I’ve already followed his advice many times, so I hope he follows mine, just once, and goes after his dreams.

Lee Minho: My first crush and the one who made me fall in love with dancing (and him too, in the process). No wonder he’s the captain of the school’s dance club. He’s just mesmerizing to watch.

Despite his very flirty nature, he’s not a player, just very friendly (maybe too friendly). And in spite of this, he still likes to fiercely declare that cats are better than people (especially his 3 cats: Dori, Soon-ie and Doong-ie). The reason why his contact name on my phone is “Crazy Cat Minho”.

Considering that when we first met (at 12 years old) we only spoke briefly, I didn’t expect him to remember me (or for him to have such a… colorful personality, considering his cold demeanor upon first meeting me), let alone want to get as close to me as he has become recently. He even invited me to his house a few times (his little brother is adorable, but he always seems to be staring oddly at me. Is there something on my face?)

I hope my longtime-brewing feelings for ‘The school’s dancing gem’ don’t change how close we’ve gotten, because I’ve really come to value him as a friend, more than just a crush.

Seo Changbin: The 2nd year “bad boy”, who’s really just a softie. Despite him being known as such for being part of the boxing club (and doing pretty good on it) and owning a motorcycle, he also works part-time at the cafe (there, I discovered that he has the cutest smile).

Even the way we met goes against the way he’s been stereotyped. He showed me (on my first, nerve-filled, day) the way to my class (which I later found out was nowhere near his own class).

I refuse to admit that my increased number of trips to the small, cozy cafe is for me to catch a glimpse of that beautiful smile, the fondness in his eyes as he talks to his little sister when she visits him at work, but it is most definitely not because of how much I’ve come to enjoy the giggle-filled conversations we have during his breaks and slower days. I instead like to blame it on my borderline addiction on coffee and hot chocolate.

I hope that, as time goes by, we can talk more. I’d love to see that wonderful smile directed at me more often. I just wish that he never invites me to one of his fights, because I don’t think I’d be able to handle seeing the wounds beneath all those band-aids he always wears.

Hwang Hyunjin: The school’s certified pretty boy (and the most popular one). He sits next to me in most classes, so I got to know him for not just his looks, but his intelligence as well, and during dance club, I got to know his humorous side and the passion he holds for dance. I also found that he is a lot shier than most would expect him to be.

There are just a few problems with my growing interest for him: 1- his crazy fangirls (who drive me crazy for only appreciating his visuals), 2- my childhood friend, Jisung, hates him (and it seems to be mutual) which makes for some interesting classes, considering I sit between them and 3- my, infinitely more talented, best friend, Maia, has a crush on him (at least she did last time we talked about it, which we don’t do often, for obvious reasons, so maybe it’s passed?)

Despite all of this, I can’t help but feel attracted to the boy with the purest giggle and an eye-smile brighter than the sun itself.

Han Jisung: My childhood friend, we’ve basically been joined at the hip since we met. Despite this, even he doesn’t know some of my deepest secrets. I didn’t tell him about most boys in this ‘list’, but every time I spoke about any of them, he acted like an overprotective brother, talking about how they didn’t deserve me and things like that. I don't even want to imagine what he would have said or done if I told him about my interest in Hyunjin, considering they're basically mortal enemies.

He’s the one Maia keeps pushing me to reveal my feelings to (because apparently, he'd be the most likely to return them. Something I don't agree with). Although she'd also like our boyfriends to be able to at least look at each other without rolling their eyes.

And I can see why she does this, I mean, he's handsome, adorable, thoughtful, reliable and knows me like very few people do. But, as cliché as it sounds, I don't want to ruin our friendship because it really means a lot to me.I sometimes wonder if simply by being his friend, I'm only hurting myself more.

Both his sisters treat me like family and I see them as the sisters I never had, during broadcast club (which we have together) I not only get to listen to his soft voice for long periods of time, I also get to experience how truly thoughtful and attentive he is everyone around him as he solves all the problems sent in by students with a gentleness I sometimes wished was directed at me more often.

Lee Felix: The 2nd year, australian transfer student, with the cutest freckles. I never thought I had a thing for accents, but Felix proved that, in fact, I do, and don't get me started on his voice, deep enough to make basically anyone swoon, it has nothing to do with his cute face (and even cuter personality). Before meeting Felix, I had no doubts that Hyunjin was the most handsome boy in school, but now I'm questioning that fact. There’s just something about him, everything fits so perfectly.

I still remember how lost he looked on his first day. With barely any decent English speakers other than myself and a few others, I inevitably became his korean tutor and quite close to him. With his talent for dancing I doubt he'll have problems getting a job, but I hope I can help him become fluent in time for the exams.

Kim Seungmin: My mother’s best friend's son (confusing, I know). The 1st year from the photography club, who asked me to go with him when he went abroad to continue his studies in college (at the time I said I’d think about it but I know it wouldn't be possible).

We met at his mom's birthday party, where we kept each other company throughout the (screeching-filled) event, as the other kids were much younger than the both of us.

In that one afternoon (that dragged on to night), I found out a lot about him, like the fact that his dream is to become a world-known photographer, or the fact that he is incredibly shy (I had to start the conversation even after about 5 minutes of sitting in awkward silence) and because of this, he doesn't smile much, only giving me small, polite and tight smiles in the beginning of our conversation. I was only able to get a real smile out of him when I glanced at one of the pictures on the wall, complimenting him on it. He immediately got this light in his eyes, even if he (at first) tried to act bashful. After I praised his vision, his smile turned wide, broad and genuine as he went on and on about his passion.

On that night, I also found out something about myself, the fact that I'd do anything to keep that beautiful smile on his face, even if it took him away from me.

Yang Jeongin: My new, 1st year, neighbor and Seungmin’s best friend.We actually met once Seungmin told me how desperately in need of help he was in English. So, despite my already busy schedule, I offered to help him. And, after discovering that he had recently moved into the house across from mine, we walked home together (after cancelling my plans with Chan).

The boy was friendly from the start, lively, energetic, and all around an actual ball of sunshine.

With so much love to give and so little confidence in things like his wonderful voice, I suspect he hasn't received a lot of love back. I wish I could be the one to give it to him. I guess I should take Woojin’s advice and get him to come out of his shell too.But with how often he seems to blush around me, I doubt he has enough experience with girls to know what a crush even feels like and I'd hate to confuse him with my own feelings.

Veteran's Day Sermon

Hail Enki Great Dragon and God of the Sweet Water, HEAR US! On this day we honor those who put their well-being aside and voluntarily risked it all to fight on behalf of millions of people they don't know and will never meet!

The kind of sacrifice that is made by our soldiers is not anything to ever take lightly; they not only put their own lives at risk, they also leave their families behind to worry about them for the duration of their tour. This not only deserves acknowledgement, it deserves the respect of EVERY SINGLE PERSON regardless of whether they "agree with the war" or not!

When a soldier enlists, no matter which branch of the military they join, they are saying "tonight you can sleep easy, no one is going to hurt you if I have anything to say about it!" They say this not only to their own families and friends, they say it to the person working the checkout at the supermarket, the school teacher trying educate the children, the pump jocky's and grease monkey's keeping people on the road, but that's not all... They are also saying to those protesting the war that even they will live to see another day because our soldiers are willing to fight, and die, for their right to protest. That kind of dedication is rare especially when people act not only ungrateful but resentful towards those who are willing to put themselves in harms way so that they don't have to!

Father please watch over our troops wherever they are stationed, be it at home or abroad, help them to keep it together despite how much strain they may be under so that they are able to maintain order in their spirits as well as within the ranks! Help them to stay alert and aware of their surroundings so that nothing goes unnoticed! Help them maintain a high morale so they don't lose themselves to the rigors of the combat zone! Help them to keep marching forward until such time as they come marching home!

Enki, you who put your own neck on the line to come to our defense when the Grand Council rendered its decision, please also help the families of enlisted soldiers to come to terms with the decision that their loved ones have made! It is not selfish for any family or friend to become upset at the idea that their loved one will be shipped off to a war zone, however, they need to respect the choice that was made! Help those who have family and friends actively deployed to maintain a sense of hope and courage, especially those with young children, so that they can in turn give their deployed loved ones a boost when they it!

They say that war is hell and they're right it is, not only are you subject to horrific events and sites on a daily basis but you also come face to face with their own mortality. Those who survive the conflict oftentimes return home to hostility from those that they selflessly protected because those people did not support the war. They also come home to find that their benefits and income are non-existent, many find themselves on the street and even more find themselves waiting for months and sometimes years just to see a doctor. One absolutely unacceptable and unforgivable reality is that our government treats are returning soldiers as though they are expendable and would have been better off had they been killed overseas! The proof of this is in the fact that several VA hospitals are dilapidated and infested and also that several returning soldiers died just waiting to be seen at all!

No one who willingly put their own life on the line to protect an entire nation from the devastation of war on its own soil deserves to be treated like a discardable pawn on a chessboard! No one who voluntarily travels to foreign lands with the intention of helping the citizens of those countries learn to defend themselves against their enemies deserves to be ignored by the government that sent them there! No one who sacrifices everything including their own peace of mind deserves to end up on the streets reliving the nightmares in their heads because they are not given the psychiatric attention they need to be able to deal with what they've been through!

Father we know that because we were given free will to do whatever we want that we can't expect you to intervene on any one sides behalf, if people want to start these wars then people need to fight these wars and also figure out how to deal with the aftermath of these wars. You are not responsible for the decisions or the actions of the human race, both are entirely at our discretion and as such both are nobody's responsibility but our own!

The one thing that we have going for us as a race is that when push comes to shove that many of us will band together even if we had issues with each other in the past! We do this because humans are social creatures even if we are not always social towards each other, we do it as a matter of survival not only for ourselves but for those we care about as well! There are those who allow their petty differences to prevent them from aiding those that need it, they are the ones who are soldiers fight and die for so that they can be that selfish and cruel! Thankfully these self-centered dolts are few and far between so they have a tendency to be the loudest group because they're so full of their own shit that everybody else just has to hear about it! When they start getting noisy the rest of us just need to be noisier, let them know that even if we don't agree with the war that we still have to support our troops because they did take it upon themselves to enlist so the self-righteous jackasses didn't have to!

So the next time you see someone on the street with a sign that says that they are a veteran, don't just throw a couple bucks at them and wish them the best, instead try to help them to become gainfully employed or even find volunteer opportunities! Many of our veterans want to work, most of them do not want to be on public assistance, there is something to be said about maintaining a level of dignity! One of the most frustrating things for all of our veterans is trying to live with the war that is still raging in their heads!

PTSD is a very real and very debilitating psychological condition that oftentimes impedes our veterans from being able to fully return to civilian life because with the more severe cases it does not take much to trigger it: for example the slamming of a car door can cause them to duck for and fireworks on the 4th of July brings back memories of being constant hail of bullets which is why many veterans cannot attend fireworks displays because it is too traumatizing for them! These are only two examples of the kinds of issues our veterans deal with on a day to day basis and it's compounded when our government does not afford them access to any kind of medical attention! Our veterans deserve better than this!

Father we know that you are always with them from the day that they enlist until the day that their deployment ends to guide and watch over them; we ask that when it comes time for them to march off into the sunset, no matter whether it is on the battlefield or after they return stateside, that you spread your wings and give them the hero's welcome home! Where we may fail in the human world when it comes to taking care of our soldiers, please rise to the occasion as you always do and let them once again know the peace and tranquility that was stolen from them during their deployment! AVÉ NINGIZHEDA!

I will gather my strength and I will gather my will, to face the enemy in any battle!

In our bases, on our tanks and on our shoulders that flag will always wave symbolizing the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Though we may be far from our friends and family, we know in our hearts we are one even though we are many!

One day is not enough to acknowledge those who fought and continue to fight for our freedom, remember to always show respect and thank a Vet every time you see them!"
