All Kagehina “proof” I know of

Ok i wasnt gonna post this but ive been told by a friend to explain why some might ship Kagehina so... try me. i dont exactly ship this myself but lets just say im a pro when it comes to this topic also it's not as bad as i thought it was there are worse ships idk why i was a hater also i lowkey got some of this from shipping wiki but most of it i knew already, plus NOT ALL OF THIS IS NECESSARILY REFERENCES TO THE SHIP it kinda just adds on to it anyways lets just get into it

ok so starting with common knowledge i think everyone knows that Hinata is the protagonist followed with Kageyama being the deuteragonist, they get the most screen time together and are pretty much paired MOST of the series, we get a lot of content with them together while also getting content of them on their own, they're known as the "freak duo," the "greatest teammates" and like 100 other names they've been called I've seen a lot of people intemperate their relationship wrong, I've seen a few say Kageyama was downright "abusive" to Hinata which I think is a little farfetched, but to each their own! They genuinely do care for each other and it shows, even at the end of the manga you can tell how far their relationship has come, even if they consider themselves rivals, they are without a doubt still friends Now a lot of people have said "well they're not gay they're just friends", while this is true, it has been referenced/implied officially in many places, including manga panels and english dubs, so while it isn't canon there is a few cute things about it which we know are official which is why I'm sharing this, I myself know it isn't canon, plus I didn't really make this to prove anything it was kinda for fun sorry if that made little to no sense but I'll start getting into more interesting stuff 1. at the tip of the iceberg we have the fact they're in so much official art together

theres like a 1000 more of these btw theyre often put near eachother even in official arts not based off them

I have like 1k more of these but i have more proof than this but i think you get my point some of this is probably promo art but that's also considered official art so 2. moving on i think another known one is that Ukai calls them lovebirds ONE TIME in English dub and I have no idea who approved that but I think it's funny and obviously this probably meant nothing but take it as you want video of it here 3. this is kinda randomly thrown in but the fact that they also trust eachother, they've mentioned it a couple times but I think it's nice to know 4. i dont remember when this was or what chapter or something but kageyamas grandfather said "somebody even better will come for you", which just happened to be Hinata of course 5. ALSO after that whole fight scene back in season two, Hinata says this

he didnt really consider kageyama as a friend, but he considered him a partner which i believe is more important to hinata. teammates/partners were always something Hinata wanted, as before he went to Karasuno, he didn't feel like his friends in Junior high were necessarily teammates. Meaning he valued Kageyama more because he was his partner.

(credits to triananero for these images) and when him and Kageyama started working together, they most definitely were perfect together, as they balanced each-other out, which made them become an unstoppable duo or whatever they called them 6. the fact that they have matching jersey numbers 9 and 10 moving on to less canon stuff, there is a light novel of Haikyuu called Haikyū!! Shōsetsuban!! which probably isnt close to canon but Furudate was a part of it even though it wasn't written by him, so it's at least somewhat official 7. anyway according to shipping wiki there is a chapter where Kageyama feels "fluttery feelings at the bottom of his stomach" when Hinata texts him, it's on volume 8 chapter 1, I REALLY WANTED TO SHOW YOU GUYS BUT I COULDNT FIND IT ANYWHERE ONLINE. i searched countless tumblr posts and websites but i could only find chapter five and chapter three so im fully convinced this is lost media LMAOOOO 8. also in Haikyū!! Shōsetsuban!! apparently there's a part where Hinata daydreams about him and Kageyama eating under cherry blossom trees i just found that cute AS MUCH AS I WANNA SHOW YOU GUYS I LITERALLY CANNOT FIND ANYTHING OF THIS LIGHT NOVEL ANYWHERE i just know it's real, if I ever get my hands on it which I doubt, I'll share proof it exists btw AND THIS IS REALLY RANDOM AND SOMEONE WANTED ME TO INCLUDE THIS BUT 9. Basically there was a ad for deodorant a couple years back, collabing with Haikyuu, where you could buy deodorants to “smell like them” or whatever, some shippers believe it’s a Kagehina reference as they also advertised Kageyama and Hinatas scents together as some like matching couple thing

Gale's Analysis: 5 things the movie did better and Vice Versa: Miraculous version.

So for this little post I will be writing things I would list that the Miraculous Movie did better for me than the show did and vice versa.

I think both medias have flaws but both also give us something great and I think both should be appreciated.

Rules:

I wont be mentioning ANYTHING asthetic (Thats a budget thing and I wont penalize the show for not having the budget the movie does) These are purely writing choices and scene inclusions.

2. These choices doesnt always mean that the show or Movie handled something badly, it just means I prefer how they were handled. by the Respective media.

3. I will only be including things that are covered in both the film and movie.

4. I would love to hear what you guys preferred and your opinions

I will start off with the Movie and alternate.

(Spoilers if you havent seen the movie or the season 5 finale of the show)

5. Movie: Using Criminals as Akumatized villains

Its such a simple idea, as the Akuma often use the negative emotions of the individuals, and thats what I loved about the movie. Of course if the logic is the more negative the emotions the more powerful, why not recruit the people who let their lives get ruined by their negative impulses.

It ups the danger factor and allows for more cartoonish violence. They get defeated and then get sent to jail. Maybe it makes Akuma seem simpler, but I like it and it results in a villain song that slaps.

5. Show: The way the Heroes were chosen

While on one hand I enjoyed the Kwami picking their chosen in the movie. I actually like how Fu tested the ones in Origins. Both Marinette and Adrien demonstrated their kind hearted and caring natures before getting the miraculous. In the movie we do see Marinette save Fu though unrelated to being chosen, which was great but we dont see Adrien ever do that before becoming Chat noir. And I feel that loses something in the process.

4. Movie: Powers: Stronger together (Not just the song)

The cat and Ladybug miraculous get more powerful when used together. That is something I have wanted since the beginning of the series. It lets both miraculous stand out from the other miraculous and shows why having these two together is such a big deal. This movie does drill it into the viewers head, but its such a cool concept and it is something I wish was in the show.

4. Show: Powers: Lucky Charm

I miss when Ladybug summons an object to help defeat the villain. i know in the movie they go a bit different with how the powers work, but I miss the random items that would then be utilized in order to help them best the bad guys. Marinette is still her clever self when she wants to be in the movie... but it isnt as clear and would have elevated the movie.

3. Movie: Tikki

I think Tikki f***ing kills it in this movie. Her energy, curiosity, her flair. HER RAP! Tikki is exactly what I picture when I see a Kwami of Creation. She was perfect for getting Marinette's butt in gear and being the instigator. She is Marinette's Motivator not her conscience. Tikki has been doing this for Eons and she knows what to do.

3. Show: Plagg

By a MASSIVE Margin, Plagg is much better portrayed in the show. His bond with Adrien is much more pronounced, his personality isnt reduced to being lazy and making Fart jokes. Plagg in the movie does give advice, but Show Plagg has a much more innate care for Adrien even early on. Plagg's bond with Adrien in the show is one of the best things about it.

2. Movie: Ladynoir

Oh I can hear a TON of anger forming from seeing this on my list. But let me explain. I like the fact that they didnt get along right away and grew to like eachother. In the show it makes sense to have them more in sync off the jump, but in the movie it shows how their powers are LINKED to them being closer. So the development is great. And while the show has the appeal of the lovesquare and identities being a secret. The Movie doesnt have that limitation, they are doing the secret identities for their own benefit. Chat noir gets to be more open with Ladybug. And Stronger together as a duet f***ing slaps. Now in the show there are some ladynoir moments that are amazing "Us against the world." Fantastic. And i would argue the show has highs the movies never reached, BUT The problem is though, in the show, that basically gets tossed to the side so often its hard to appreciate it and the lows are more present. In the movie, it is able to keep that basis steady. Plus this movie was made for Ladynoir, lets face it.

2. Show: Marinette and Adrien (As Characters)

I think it is obvious to say that the show has a lot more time to flesh out Marinette and Adrien. Now I do enjoy their movie incarnations, but seeing How Marinette developed her confidence overtime and her reasons for being how she is, as well as Adrien wanting more love and acceptance. The movie never really gets to show how kind and caring both of them are. Something the show gets to demonstrate. Though the flaws are there, it is a deeper ocean to explore. Movie Marinette and Movie Adrien are wonderful, but when it comes to the core, the originals shine brighter.

1. Show: Adrinette (As well as Ladrien and Marichat)

Yes I am swapping back to the show before the movie. I dont care its my list. Adrien and Marinette are f***ing adorable. The umbrella scene is still one of my favorite moments in the series, and seeing how the two fall in love is wonderful. Its a slow burn and its usually pretty damn good. Granted the love rival bump was stupid, but hey not everything is perfect. Also the Ladrien (while not much as much as the other sides) exists in the show and gets a lot of mileage. And Marichat, do I even have to explain? Most of you marichat stans are still watching Elation. The show handles the core aspect that the viewers WANT to see. The slow burn romance. That is where its at. And while the movie does show Adrien and Marinette having some cute encounters, some stuff was cut and it just cant hold a candle to the adrinette in the show.

Its the beauty and love that has me still holding onto the show... no matter the writing choices it has taken. And trust me when I say MY LOVE for the lovesquare has been tested more than Heracles.

1. Movie: Gabriel Agreste

If someone told me I would ever have sympathy for Gabriel Agreste. I would looked them in the eyes and LAUGHED at them. But somehow this movie did what the show failed to do. They turned this neglectful asshole into my favorite part of the movie. The movie makes me understand WHY he is so absent with Adrien, yet still show how much he loves his son. He is a widower lost in grief filled with Survivor's guilt. He is so lost and desperate to bring her back that he was willing to sacrifice his own heart to get her back... but then, he sees his son, damaged by his own hands. He sees the monster he became and it broke him. He fell down and realized he had done something inexcusable in his mind. He let his loss hurt his little boy.

The movie doesnt get as much time as the show to flesh out Gabriel, but sweet kwami does the movie show more than enough. We see his intial reluctance, we see his grief win over and then his obsession and hatred growing. We see him get disheveled and at the brink yet still checking on his son. We see him realize how far gone he is and just let the darkness take control, and finally we see the revelation! Him waking up to the truth, what he did to his son. He breaks down, he confesses. THIS is a Gabriel that you understand how he fell. This Gabriel was shown to the Audience. But you know what the best part is? He isnt shown as a hero, Paris knows he became a villain. He does get to hug his son and apologize, but he acknowledges his wrongs.

The show did have a chance to do that (I would say season 2 was their best bet) But sadly they tossed that out and the ending of the Agreste arc (as far as we know because everyone says its not the end. But its the end.) Was not what I call good.

So when it comes down to it, Gabriel Agreste became the Villain once dreamed he would be in this movie.

im like, what, 10 years late to the whole walking dead game thing but i was way too young back then to understand the game. i hope people still enjoy it, its a really good game (and sad) but im only up to season 3 right now (i only really liked s1 and s2) but im not finished so i cant really make decisions rn

i just want to talk about ben rn and evaluate him cause im rewatching it and now that hes my favourite i notice more things about him now. (i literally look at him everytime hes in frame even if its just showing the back of his head oml)

but anyway i see a lot of ben hate and sure i get it but i dont at the same time ben is so silly how can u hate him

- to start, when we first met ben in the woods, he’d already been through some stuff, like he saw his classmate off herself and turn into a walker, his camp got raided and he was left with 1 friend and his teacher (who both still die btw) so most of what he had left before the apocalypse was gone

- when lee is rationing out the food, if he gives ben food first, kenny comes and tells lee that there’s kids that need food too, and ben literally is like ‘sorry i didnt want any trouble’ like cmon, and he’s literally a kid too he deserves the food as much as anyone else

- on the train he is interested in the controls and being up there, so we can see that he generally enjoyed it. but once lee gets the engine going, kenny comes and ben immediately has to go babysit katjaa clem and duck (he is also visibly upset) AND THEN later on lee asks how ben was doing and he says ‘im watching the girls and not working on a mega cool train’ (let him on the train immediately 😠😠)

- ok, so maybe he did sneak supplies to the bandits and i think this is just me being biased but i feel like him giving the supplies held off the bandits a little. i mean think about it, they moved on from the st john’s farm and started taking from the motel, right? im not sure how the bandits asked ben (if they made it clear then i forgot) but if he refused wouldnt the bandits come attack even earlier? i mean they needed the supplies right, and if ben didnt give them anything to begin with they would have raided the motel anyway. i mean they knew where they were even before the st john incident. idk its just a thought

- i think it was cool how ben managed to confess to lee that he was the one who slipped the bandits supplies. like you can tell ben is a good guy cause the guilt was almost literally eating him from the inside. and even though ben isnt one of the bravest people, he still confessed knowing that lee’s reaction wouldnt be pretty. (also his stance when leaning on the train railing was so silly to me)

- after they meet christa and omid, ben tells lee that his biggest fear was to be eaten by the walkers. i mean he literally said that if he got bitten he would off himself 😢😢

- also ben was always referred to as a child but he was never treated like one, everyone excpected him to be brave and strong but in reality he was just some scrawny highschool student who was scared and couldnt live up to his impossible standards. man, i really just wanna give ben a big hug

- if you tell ben to “kill anything that gets in” he responds with “you know you’re talking to me, right?” poor ben

- even though his biggest fear is getting eaten by walkers, you still have the option to leave him behind, and let him go at the bell tower. i mean how could u do this to him hes already gone through enough

- lastly, the part where ben tells off kenny is literally iconic, that scene singlehandedly made ben one of my favourite characters of all time, i was like everyone else, i didnt care about ben because i thought he was a bad guy since i never really payed attention to him. but i swear when he was telling kenny off it felt like i was being told off too. i mean his point was valid too, kenny had his family to say goodbye to, and ben (and literally everyone else) never got to see their family, (or they saw them as walkers, lee and clem,, :( )

- i know the last point was meant to be the last one but cmon its ben i could type this for ages longer but yeah. he had the literal best character development in the game. at first he was some stupid kid who was always messing up and before he died he was an amazing character who deserved literally everything. omg i cried so hard when he died cause when he fell i was like, oh i think its ok the fall wasnt too far and he said he only hurt his leg, but bro once we saw what really happened my heart sank bro it was so sad i really hoped nothing bad happened to him ☹️☹️ but i think kenny did the right thing cause like we said, his worst fear was the walkers getting to him. gosh i feel like i watched his death for the first time ages ago and i still cant stop thinking about him man

anyways, i would literally do anything to give ben a massive hug, he did his best and he was literally so funny too :((

(thanks if u read this far btw, i just wanted to rant about this man i love him so much and i will defend him with my life) 😠‼️

Fellow Bioware fans, specifically for Dragon Age Inquisition- Hear me out on this idea ive had

So what if Bioware did a DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition, similar to Mass Effect's Citadel DLC

(And for those who don't know the Citadel DLC, its an...expansion pack? Or something similar that allows the crew of ME3-Mass Effect 3- to have a shore party on the Citadel. It has mini games to play of all kinds, small scenes with our favorite characters, love interest or not, and even a bit of a quest line to follow that is very hilarious and even more exciting, plus a bit more dialogue added to the game I believe)

Anyhow-What if, despite the circumstances, the inner circle of the Inquisition got something similar. Maybe not a whole vacation in itself but still something, y'know? I know Tresspasser may have did something similar but this is just me imaging fun and more comical with the potential chaos of the Inquisition crew.

Imagine this- romance scenes with the love interests like-

Seeing a more playful side of Cullen as we volunteer to help with dog training. Perhaps finally seeing him without a suit and in some casual clothes for once. I can just imagine a scene of him getting tackled by dogs as our inquisitor is laughing their ass off on the side.

Seeing Cassandra get pulled into relaxing for a bit by reading a story together, maybe her indulging in some fun by voicing the dialogues as our inquisitor is the one to act them out more.

Seeing Solas take us through a bit of an art gallery and pointing out his favorite pieces as he explains the meanings behind it. Then deciding at the end of it that he would like to make a peice with us or paint something in our quarters by our asking.

Seeing our favorite mage, Dorian go out on an actual date with his boyfriend and easing his nerves about being public about it. Him waving them off and saying thats hes fine, but obviously melting once he realizes that no one cares that its two men. And not just that- but him being sassy and playful, flirting with his Amatus as they dine together freely.

Piggybacking off the previous one, if your inquisitor is female and bestfriends with him instead, then the two having a nice day out together. Maybe if he isnt romanced to Bull in that playthrough, then helping him get a small date with someone. Maybe he fails a bit, but is able to laugh about it cause it was less terrifying than he thought compared to home. (You can plainly tell how much I adore this man)

Going to see a Jousting match with The Iron Bull. Maybe not as exciting as Dragons but perhaps Bull can read into the body language and tell whos going to loose, and instead of just telling us, he makes it a game that WE have to guess instead. Romanced version- if we win, hes laughing a bit, saying "Thats my Kadan!" (Jfjsjffs)

Blackwall probably can't do a whole lot, considering after his real identity problem, so maybe he makes pulls together a nice dinner instead. (Mostly for romance version) And somewhat saying towards the end, "You may be the Inquisitor, but you're still a lady, and you should be treated as such."

Look, I havent romanced Black wall that often, but boy- from the scene on youtube, the man can sure show his gentleman side.

And the fact that you can romance him as any race? OOO- Just imagine how much more tender that'll feel for a qunari or eleven inquisitor, LIKE-DKDJSOWNAK MAN WANTS HIS LADY TO BE TREATED LIKE THEY DESERVE

Anyhow, im gettin' off subject-

Helping Cole on a task he asked from us. It could be something so simple as flower picking cause he felt a little girl nearby feeling real upset about something and wanted to help.

I know alot of people have different views of Cole, just like any character, and people see him as either the son or little brother depending on how you go about it. So maybe this can go either way. Especially if your character is elven, they can give him tips on which flowers may be more appropriate or safer to leave for the little one.

(Ignore this if you want- My main Inquisitor is an elven chick named Bellatrix and ive always imagine her having a small soft side for Cole, treating him like a little brother in some areas cause he reminds her of her siblings. )

There are so many ways to go about this whole idea, honestly. And while I don't have many ideas for Sera, Josephine, Leliana, Varric, and Vivienne, I would have loved to see scenes with them in playful moments like these. Like Vivienne shopping with the Inquisitor or Sera going on that promise to make cookies with them and it turns into a whole mess but both end up laughing on the floor, flour caked on.

Out of all the Dragon Age games, Inquisition has to be my l, above all, favorite because of the outright love the characters bring to your character. Whether they are a steel on the outside, light hearted qunari, a playful and chaos making elf, or a soft but proud decision making dwarf with a bit of clumsyness. You cant really say that it doesnt matter what or how your character is, but its true how much it does matter cause it brings just another side of possibilities with such a character.

I apologize for my ranting but if you've taken the time to read this, please share your ideas with me cause even though hasn't made something like this for Dragon age, fans surely bring that idea to light in any way they can💜

Mercury Retrogrades: Let’s Discuss

I feel like there’s so much misconception with Mercury Rx. I need y’all to calm down and stop letting these transits freak y’all out!

Transits are felt as a collective but it impacts all of us individually differently! It’s like riding a bus. We’re all riding a bus we’re getting off on different locations. That’s how you treat any transit. Everyone has their own unique path, lessons and blessings in this lifetime.

What is a retrograde? Let’s start there…

Retrogrades is like re-looking at a contract or rewinding a scene from the movie to make sure you read and seen it clearly. It’s going back to the drawing board and making sure you’re not missing something. You may actually get a better idea or completely start fresh and it’s okay!!! Retrogrades shine light on what is and isn’t working anymore, so why are you all acting scared or worried? Listen, retrogrades can be a blessing if you know how to work with the energy not against it. Does this mean that things can’t be annoying or complicated? No, that’s life. But, I promise you’ll learn something from this. That’s how these transits work.

Mercury is the planet of planning and organization. It’s rules over our thought process and how we communicate these things. Mercury is our Health, mental and physical.

What if past people come back?

- If past people come back then this means that you have unfinished business or karma you need to clear out. Sometimes they come back because it could be a chance to start over and re-look at the situation and communicate. Another reason, it could be to see if you’re officially over and have learned that lesson associated with that person. It’s up to YOU if you want them back in your life. I’m going to be real, you may take back certain people in your life because you still have something left to learn.

Can I sign contracts or make big decisions?

Here’s the thing, if it’s not meant for you to do it then the Universe will block it one way or another! you have to start paying attention to the signs and listen to your intuition. If there’s doubt and you have been overthinking something, that’s a sign that you should probably leave something alone until you have clarity. You want to buy a car but nothing is going right, thats a sign love. Mercury Rx is asking you “Are you sure you want that car? Have you done a thorough research on it and see if its beneficial too you?” You want to try a new business endeavor but can’t find any resources, that’s a sign. You’re being asked to ”have you thought this endeavor out fully? Do you have a long term plan for it?” Now if you have full clarity on a situation and everything going smooth then that means you can go through with it because it was already planned out accordingly subconsciously or consciously.

Example: I bought my current cell phone during a Mercury Rx. I had been wanting a new phone for months but the timing wasn’t right but I knew I needed one. When Mercury Rx hit, my phone carrier told me that I qualified for the newest phone for no down payment. I took the opportunity and I’ve had this phone for 3 years and with only 1 issue(apple problem, not my phone) in this span.

Why is my life falling apart then?

-your life was probably already falling apart but you were too distracted by external things such as work, family or relationship(s) to noticed. Now it’s like someone has poured ice cold water in your face and you’re starting to see the dog shit in the corner, you’ve been smelling couldn’t spot it, SURPRISE! I’m tell you this, your life is falling apart or going through something so you can rebuild something builder. Is it fair? No, life isn’t always fair, earth isnt easy but just like the great Maya Angelou once said “you do the best you can. when you know better, you do better.”

Now this leads with this Mercury Rx being in Aries, we are looking at ourselves and reevaluating who we are. With the NN being here, we’re being pushed too. We have to if we want to grow. If you’re not reevaluating yourself then people closest to you are reflecting on what you need to heal. Libra which rules other people and Aries sister sign is also in effect. This eclipse was in a libra degree. Chiron is currently in Aries to remember? So take accountability for you past action, grieve and cry it out if you have too. But, also forgive yourself and others for your own mental (Mercury) peace. Some people will forgive you , others won’t, but the greatest thing we can all do is grow to be better for our future selves and the people we still have yet to meet! First we need too take accountability and heal.

See guys, life isn’t black and white, it’s very grey and it’s filled with nuance. These transits help us better ourselves and others in live timing.

I hope I didn’t come off preachy but I felt called to talk about this today because I wanted to you all to understand these transits in a newer more nuanced way. Can’t you all tell that this Rx is happening in my 10h😅

A bad tutorial on how to rip the models + animations from ultrakill and put them in blender

Note: Im using a blender addon to import the models, this is because fbx import is kinda broken by default in blender. The addon Im using is called better fbx importer and exporter. Its paid, but there are other ways to get it. Try without the addon first. If it doesnt work, DM me for a link.

This is NOT a blender tutorial. k? pls dont ask me blender questions.

You will need: Blender (free), AssetStudio (free), and if you want to make gifs, some sort of program like photoshop. I'm not explaining how to render things or make gifs.

ok. Begin.

Go to your install of ultrakill and copy the file path.

Open asset studio and click LOAD FOLDER. Not any of the other ones. Paste the path to your ultrakill FOLDER. Not any of the folders inside that folder, just use the whole thing. Then. Wait. If you dont have enough ram, this wont work. If your pc isnt great this will probably freeze up. If that happens, sorry not much I can do.

Once its all loaded, go to "asset list", then under filter type select "animator" and "animationclip". Search for what model you want. In this case, theres a lot. I dont remember which one i used but most of them should work. Some may have extra stuff attached, like swords.

right click the animator and click "go to scene hierarchy"

Select it. Again, this isn't a blender tut so the model you grab may be incomplete, for ex: sisyphus and minos have separate parts for their hearts/veins and sisyphus has a unique head made of 3 parts. Im sorry I wont be explaining all that :p This is just a basic guide. Experiment and you'll get it eventually.

BTW you can grab his weapon models but I havent figured out how to include them with the animations yet. If its even possible, idk.

Now for the annoying part. Finding the animation. If you just search for gabriel, you'll notice only 3 come up. I suggest sorting only by "animationclip" (do not use the search bar) and trying to find one. If you grab an animation for someone else, it wont work. This is just trial and error. For ease, I will be using the one called ZweiCombo (not ZweiDash despite the pic, i fucked up lol), I know this one belongs to gabe cause he is the only one with swords, well besides swordsmachine but you get what I mean..

Ok, now create a folder somewhere and name it.

Under model, use "export selected objects (merge) + selected animationclips" and export it all to the folder you made.

Now open blender and import the fbx file. If you press spacebar you should see something move. If it doesnt work then um.. you either grabbed the wrong animation, wrong model, or the fbx import got fucked. Trial and error. The textures also may be missing but again, this is not a blender tutorial. You can search that up, but to find textures if they didnt export at all, use filter type "texture2d" and search the character, you should be able to find all their textures. Some exceptions tho. For ex: gabes wings are named like "t_wings.png"

There are other ways to grab the model, by grabbing the "mesh" not the "animator". I think works both ways, as far as I can tell?

EDIT: Forgot to mention that, as far as I know, you can only have 1 animation attached to the model you exported. This is why we made a folder. So if you want 5 animations from the same character, create 5 folders and export the model 5 times with a different animation selected each time. If an animation doesn’t work, I recommend just deleting everything you exported and starting again.

a/n: this is a beyond random post for me here at sunsetsixx hq but as a journalism major & previous owner of a multifandom writing blog i guess i was bound to return to my roots at some point ! this isnt me becoming a writing blog, instead just a one-off fic of an idea thats been floating around in my brain for the last 2 weeks that came to fruition in a google doc at 2am. i dont know if theres even an audience for this besides me & maybe like 3 other people in my notifs so enjoy if you wanna & pls dont judge my out of practice writing too much <3

warnings: smutty dialogue, light (?) smut, mentions of tommy & brittany getting it on lmfao, a highly unrealistic take on the behind the scenes of the stadium tour that was necessary for the plot

“Can you fuckin’ believe we’re already halfway through this tour?” Brittany asked, shaking her head as the two of us walked back to where the buses were parked. “I swear to God we just hopped on that plane to Atlanta like yesterday.”

“Seriously.” I nodded in agreement. “Time has flown.”

“It’s been a crazy ride. Like so fun.”

“If I’m being honest though, it’s really not as chaotic as I thought it would be.”

“Really? What do you mean?” She asked.

“I don’t know…I guess it’s just different actually living the modern day reality. We’ve heard and read all these insane stories of them in the 80s but obviously life just isn’t like that anymore.” I let out a short laugh. “No real backstage shenanigans…it’s funny to see how much they’ve mellowed out over the years.”

“Girl you’re lucky you don’t have to deal with shenanigans. My husband thinks it’s funny to light shit on fire with hairspray every five seconds. There’s literally never a dull moment in that dressing room.”

“I don’t know if I’m jealous or not.” I said laughing. “We keep it pretty chill in ours. Mainly just me helping with his outfit and hair. Lots of Fiji water and listening to Sammy Hagar’s solo stuff as ‘pump up’ music.” I explained as Brittany laughed this time.

By this point in the conversation, we had made it to tonight’s stadium’s back parking lot where our temporary homes were located. All of the buses were set up in a line with the lights on, as if ready to drive off at any minute. But from the looks of Brittany’s face, and the absence of our men, we weren’t going anywhere anytime soon.

“Hold up.” She said, a look of disbelief gracing her features.

“What?” I asked, laughing in confusion.

“You’re telling me that you and Vince Neil haven’t fucked in your dressing room this entire time?”

My mind began to rewind as many shows back as it could remember, but nothing of the sort stood out. I shook my head at her. “No. Just in the hotels and a couple times on the bus…” I trailed off as my gaze wandered over to the vehicle in question, all kinds of memories from the first week flooding back when Vince so romantically suggested “breaking in the new place” with multiple rounds on multiple surfaces.

“(y/n)! What are you even doing? You’re a tour wife man, you gotta act like it!” She joked, lightly hitting my arm with her bag.

“I don’t know! I guess it just always gets too busy back there, especially with all the meet and greets and photoshoots and filming…I never wanted to tire him out before the show or whatever. I haven’t even thought about it too much.”

“The rushing around is what makes it so good though. Tommy & I were like rabbits back in St. Louis. I don’t know what was in that water but shit got crazy.”

I nodded, thinking about everything my best friend was saying. “You might be right, Britt. Truly what am I doing if not the lead singer in the sleaziest band to walk this earth backstage? It’s a disgrace to their reputation, honestly.” I said, shaking my head.

“There you go!” She laughed. “Just because they’re getting older doesn’t mean we are too. We gotta keep them on their toes babe.”

“You always do make a good point Ms. Furlan-Lee.” I replied, and the two of us broke out into laughter. We stood outside scrolling through our phones and judging each other’s Instagram feeds for a few more minutes before we were finally joined by the men of the hour.

“Goodnight guys! See you on the next!” Nikki’s slightly raspy post-show voice called out. He was walking up with Courtney and a sleeping Ruby in tow on the way to their bus as well.

“See you dude!” An unmistakable voice yelled back, followed by the appearance of the lankiest guy of the bunch, still somehow with a single drumstick in hand.

Finally I caught a glimpse of my specific man of the hour, who had traded in the bright red glitter and leathers of his stage costume for a pair of camo shorts and a black tank top. His signature chain hung around his neck and for some reason he was also still adorning sunglasses at 1:30 in the morning.

“There you are.” I said smiling as he walked up.

“Hey lovey.” He said, wrapping me in a hug and pressing a short kiss to the top of my head.

“You tired?” I asked, still in his arms.

“Yeah I could sleep. Fuckin’ awesome show though. I still can’t believe how many people are actually showing up.”

I scoffed at his words. “That’s the dumbest thing you’ve ever said. This is literally the tour of the century. People are gonna be showing up for you guys forever.”

He smiled and shrugged his shoulders. “Hopefully.”

He gave my back a quick rub before motioning for us to get on our bus so we could start off to the next city. As we got ready for bed, my conversation with Brittany played over and over in my head, and the more I thought about it, the more I realized she was right.

I just said it too– this is the tour of the fucking century. I need to start treating it like that for myself and my man. Tomorrow is a new day full of new experiences and new ideas and new desires. A million possible ways I could go about what I wanted to do swirled around in my brain, but as I settled under the covers of our shared bed in the back room, a lightbulb moment was had.

The next night began like every other after we arrived at the latest stadium and got everything settled. Crüe was closing the show tonight, which meant we all had more time to hang backstage. We were currently in an in-between period between Poison and Def Leppard, meaning there was about two hours until Crüe’s set. Vince was mostly ready to go, and was over in someone else’s room with the rest of the guys in the band hanging out and doing whatever other pre-show rituals they all partake in these days.

I was in his dressing room, putting last night’s ideas into action. I was nervous for a million different reasons; nervous he’d shun me off if there wasn’t enough time, nervous he’d think I was trying to act like some groupie on the Girls Girls Girls tour, nervous the idea my brain had conjured up was overstepping or I’d get in trouble with their stylist somehow. Lots of nerves. I just hoped Brittany’s advice was right to take for Vince and me.

After connecting my phone to the speaker and turning some music up decently loud, I began the action steps of my plan. I grabbed my tote bag and wandered into the bathroom. I took off the ripped blue jeans and tank top I had been sporting all day and opted for something more…(well technically, less) appropriate. I had dug out one of my red teddies from my luggage on the bus, a lacey number I knew was one of Vince’s favorites, and slipped it on in place of my clothes. I touched up my makeup that had begun to flake off over the course of the day, and ran a brush through my hair.

Once satisfied, I walked back out into the now much more noticeably cold air of the dressing room for the main operation.

There on a silver rack hung Vinnie’s most prized possession this tour– a floor length, silk piece of art hand painted with Japanese symbols in reds, golds, and royal blue covering the back. I ran my hands down the oversized sleeves as it hung there, looking like something that should’ve been in the MOMA rather than trekking around dingy baseball stadium hallways being diligently followed by a short woman with a portable steamer.

It had been almost a month of The Stadium Tour and I hadn’t dared to touch it, especially not after seeing how pissed off Vince got when someone (still a mystery who) stole his original show pants from backstage. Tonight was different though. I needed it to help me with the fantasy I had dreamed up after a middle-of-the-night conversation in a parking lot in Cleveland with my best friend.

I took a deep breath before carefully taking it off the hanger and placing it on me. My smaller frame was of course drowning in it, since the length and size was custom made for Vince. I tiptoed over to the full length mirror hanging on the wall, careful not to drag too much of it on the floor.

My eyes went wide as I took in the sight of myself. Bright red lace hugging my hips and chest perfectly, (the bodysuit had been a gift from Vince last Christmas, something that actually was custom made for my body’s measurements), with the iconic Wild Side performance look draped over my shoulders. I felt expensive– high class even, and now understood why Vince was always on such a high between the opening song and Shout at the Devil. This piece was enough to make anyone’s ego go through the roof.

I tied the kimono up in the front to conceal what lay underneath and took a deep breath before walking back over to sit on one of the couches. My back was facing the door, so the surprise wouldn’t be ruined when he came back in, which after seeing the clock turn to 6:39pm, realized should be almost any minute now.

I smoothed my hair over a few more times with my hand and picked at some stray nail polish that had chipped off onto my cuticles. My mind wandered to the endless amount of reactions he could have at the sight of me until they weren’t just fantasies anymore, but the real thing.

It took everything in me not to jump off the couch like some sort of rabid animal in anticipation when I heard the doorknob turn and the heavy door creak open.

“Hey baby, have you see my kim–”

The sentence died in his throat as I rose from the couch in the very article of clothing he was asking about not a second before. I smiled innocently up at him as his wide eyes looked me up and down.

I walked toward him, making a show of my bare legs peeking through the soft fabric with every stride forward. He bit his bottom lip when I placed my hands in his.

“This what you were looking for?” I offered, officially setting the backstage plan into motion.

“Oh yeah…” He trailed off, letting go of one of my hands so he could twirl me around. “Look at you baby doll.”

“I got you a present.” I said softly, after a moment. His eyebrows raised when I didn’t continue. Finally I walked backward a couple steps and held my arms out so the kimono’s tie was on display. “You have to unwrap it.”

He practically pounced on me the second the words exited my mouth. He pulled the silk fabric gently and the loose knot fell, allowing a glimpse of what was underneath to show through.

“You fuckin’ tease.” He said in a low voice, still smiling like a kid in a candy store. The plan was working.

His hand graced my shoulder as he pushed one arm of the robe off so it draped down my back. “You want something tonight, huh sugar?” He asked, pressing a short kiss to the underside of my jaw. My eyes fluttered closed at the touches, almost completely abandoning the act then and there. I did my best to stay strong.

“Don’t you have a show in an hour?” I teased, taking a small step back.

His face dropped. “Don’t you start. Those fuckers can wait.”

Before I knew it, I was being lifted up and carried towards the couch. He laid me down so my head was on the armrest as he hovered over me. I ran my hands up his tattooed arms as his lips pressed down onto mine.

He ran his hands over the red lace that clung to my skin and massaged my soft flesh underneath. The couch was beyond uncomfortable, but I found I didn’t care at all when Vince was touching me like this.

As we made out, his right hand snaked around my back to undo the thin fabric and pull it down my body. I started to slide the kimono off my shoulders to give him more access as well.

“No.” He said and put his hand on my arm. “Leave it on. My girl wants to play dirty tonight, right?”

I bit my lip and took a deep breath through my nose as I nodded in response.

“That’s what I thought. You want me to fuck you in this then wear it onstage in front of 40,000 people…is that it?” He whispered.

Any and all facade of confidence and calmness I previously had completely melted away at his words. Just the thought of him putting it back on later after these less than wholesome activities to go sing in front of a stadium full of unsuspecting fans had me shuddering in anticipation. He started kissing down my jaw and neck again until he reached my heaving chest.

“God I love these tits.” He spoke softly. “Especially when they’re filling out this outfit.” He trailed his hand over the kimono once again, down my curves until he reached the part of me dripping with need.

“You’re lucky I got an extra one of these baby…because you’re gonna be the fucking death of me.”

My Personal Ranking of Arcane CaitVi Moments + Poll for their Best Moment

This was harder than it should’ve been

1. Council Meeting + Oil and Water: There’s just something about the last episodes that have me in a chokehold. Them standing with each other, fighting for each other, Cassandra’s approval to go after Vi, then they break up even though they were never dating ????? My heart belongs to them. They’re just so attached to each other and it’s way more than "they have romantic feelings for each other and kinda wanna get it on," but they’re dedicated to each other. Full on respect and appreciation. Vi thinking this is her protecting the two of them and Caitlyn wanting nothing more than for Vi to stay but she makes the decision and leaves anyway, UGHHHHH

2. Everything after Oil and Water: Again, the last episodes. The one thing that finally tied the two of them together, a unique bond. They’ve been through so much together after such a short amount of time and they have to be each other’s solid rock. Jinx calling Caitlyn Vi’s girlfriend then Vi being scared Caitlyn’s head is on that platter, then Vi not being able to let Jinx kill Caitlyn even though Jinx has been her motivating force throughout her ENTIRE LIFE. Don’t even get me STARTED ON THAT FRICKING SHOWER. They’re so in love. ALSO, their final shot of Vi holding onto Caitlyn and supporting and protecting her (plus the fact that she doesn't use her gauntlet hand for it). So good.

3. Brothel Scenes + Saviour Caitlyn: One word: iconic. Vi is such a mess but Caitlyn will always be there to pick the pieces up. Their banter and them disliking each other but finally learning to trust each other is complete gold. PLUS: YOU'RE SO SWEET, LIKE A CUPCAKE!!!!

4. Bridge Scenes: THAT HUG, THAT KNEE PAT, ALL THE FACE TOUCHES, CONCERNED VI, VI RUNNING INTO THE MESS FOR CAITLYN, CAITLYN GOING IN TO PROTECT VI FROM THE SHOTS UNTIL SHE (VI) PUSHED HER (CAITLYN) AWAY SO SHE DOESNT GET HURT!!!!! No words, they’re just in love. The way these scenes just show their growing connection and need is simply so important to me.

5. Tie between Firelight Hideout Scenes and Caitlyn Releasing Vi from Prison + Everything After: Firelight Hideout scenes showed us more of their banter, Caitlyn’s amazing line, “this city needs healing,” and Vi gazing at Caitlyn like she was in love. Them in the sunlight is actually just gorgeous, but the fact that Ekko says “Vi says I can trust at you,” and Cait before that going, “It’s me you want,” just tops that. I don’t think Vi said this (Caitlyn can be trusted) because she fell for Caitlyn at that point, but because she knew that Caitlyn wasn’t on the side she was fighting against. She was practically harmless to her and, if anything, very useful. This is where I believe Vi starts appreciating Cait. Then, Caitlyn releasing Vi from prison then the wild goose chase that follows is just so fun. Vi’s new jacket and Cait’s new fit, Jericho’s food stand (they’re so annoying to each other at first, it’s amazing), it’s all so great. But… I cringe every time I hear Caitlyn go, “That place looks like it has bodies in the basement.” I know she was making a silly joke but it irks me knowing Vi’s history and reaction. Makes me scared and nervous that they wouldn't be able to move past that not so harmless joke (even though I know they do) and really shows you the differences they have to overcome.

6. Tie between Vi’s Old Home and Bedroom Scenes: Okay, so this is, like, ridiculously low. I love these scenes a ton, but their thing is that they’re the least subtle. It doesn’t feel like total yearning it just feels like a relationship (WHICH ISNT A BAD THING). Caitlyn didn't seem like she was pulling away from Vi because she was questioning how she feels for her (or her breath stank), but because Vi was out of her mind. Again, not a bad thing and these scenes are fantastic. This might be so low because I’ve read so many fics and analyses about them that they’re just there to me. UGH BUT I LOVE THEM. Them climbing into Caitlyn’s window, Cassandra and Tobias busting in, them breaking down the sign, those FACE TOUCHES. Caitlyn giving up her prized possession for this hot criminal she hardly knows???? Gosh, I can’t deal. (Should I switch this 5th and 6th 😭).

7. Mini Caitlyn and Vi being connected without them knowing: Threw this in here for fun. I love the idea of Mini CaitVi interacting, they’d be the absolute cutest. This just adds layers to their relationship. As if they were destined to be together. Like the world has been pushing them together for so long without them even knowing.

This was composed so many times and lost over and over again or accidentally deleted and it's been scraped and pieced together for about a year now and I always lock it in my notes and save it everytime I re-do it. I think it is now time to let all of you go; and unlock this from my clipboard and give my heart the freedom to be happy again.

I think it took so much of me to be the caregiver I always wished I had, for you... and I may never get that, but maybe you can get what you need if someone has the blueprints of all I learned with you...

As any other vapid girl, it must start with a quote, one I've found fits and it does it beautifully, at least for me.

"They all turned their backs on us because they knew if we held on tight to eachother... we were something fatal... but we fell into the wrong hands."

To the girl who loves him next;

I fucked shit up to the point of no return and the boy this letter is about deserves what I had the potential to give him... had I not been battling demons stronger than myself at the time.

If the first time you meet him it feels like you're in fucking 6th grade meeting your new best friend, talking a mile a minute and never wanting to sleep because you're so excited you found someone this amazing... (I think we spent 3 sleepless days and nights talking and falling so quickly in love it was worse than some freak hurricane, it caught me by surprise and to this day i know ill never laugh that hard again or be that happy again) then listen please, for everything that is holy please just read this a million times so he finally can have the life he deserves. I promise he is worth every fight every melt down every public scene... I fucking swear on it, but you won't know if you don't learn how to help him out of these situations.

The first few times it's going to seem like a fucking nightmare. Please stop and understand me when I say this... "imagine how he feels". As humans we are not very good at seeing beyond our own selfish existence, so it's going to take some actual effort, he's fucking worth it.

Learn his triggers and listen to what the fuck he's saying even if it sounds crazy to you, listen to those words because there's meaning behind them. It's not just to freak out its not just to embarass you and its certainly not Any fun for him. Keep cold water with you for these moments. He needs it to drink and splash his face with.Do not be afraid to jump in a cold shower with him with your clothes on, because no matter how shitty it sounds now... it's some of my favorite memories to look back on, being able to calm him and hear what he is trying to say because you've learned how to help calm him and you've become that much closer. I would sing to him, i wont give the details of that song or that part as its something i want ro keep to myself, it was my favorite song and i havent listened to it or sang it since the day i droppwd him off at the airport.

Don't lie to him, however fragile his ❤️; it can withstand the hard truth, but the sugar coated lie is a slap deep into his soul, please don't break his trust. It's so sacred and beautiful. I know right now you don't think you can handle him, and I'd love to be selfish and tell you to send him on an airplane to me because I miss my best friend and lover, but if you stick this out... he will make you the happiest girl in the whole world. I know from experience. Please do not hurt him. Because if I find out about this, you will have alot bigger troubles than him not being able to let go. He is sensitive and messy and fun and sweet and chaos and perfection... but don't ever make him feel like he is not enough, he isnt... and don't ever make him feel like he's too much... he isn't. He is a perfect portion of all and he taught me how to love myself and he taught me patience in the purest form.

ok obligatory about me section time. i'm a trophy wife who has been doing creative writing since i learned the alphabet. my husband is navy and so its always an adventure. i have a bachelors degree in communications and have lots of experience with nonprofits and marketing! i have a doggo and 2 lovely sphynx cats and i am currently in a musical for the month of august! i am a huge nerd and although i have a lot of life changes coming up, i am hoping to balance out that stress with some awesome writing friends and stories! i'm mentally ill but who isnt and i'm an introverted extrovert, i would say.

what does writing with me look like?

first off, if you aren't open to OOC chatter then i'm probably not for you. i'm sure you're awesome but i am a very loving and excitable person who will want to fangirl and share inspo and get to you know as a buddy! the best part of writing collaboratively is the collaboration part for me so i love to plot, headcanon, and overall just go back and forth!

reply speed: multiple a day/one a day/multiple a week (AKA it all depends)

average post length: semi-literate to novella, anywhere from 2-5+ paragraphs per post, scene-dependent but the more the better!

writing wise, i write third person, past tense and i'm mostly looking for m/m and m/f pairings. i love tropes and angst and drama. romance is a must but i also love adventure and building a fantastic story! i don't write characters that are labeled 'top/bottom' or anything like that, i much prefer to create charas for the story and explore all kinds of connections! i use realistic FCs or realistic art FCs in specific settings

genre-wise, i write slice of life/realistic, supernatural (vampires & werewolves), horror/thriller (think It or Stranger Things vibes), historical fiction, apocalypse/dystopia, sci-fi, and fantasy can be discussed as well but it's my least faves!

fandom-wise, i will write OCs in a fandom universe (unless its ron weasley, i will canon ron for you pshhhh). fandoms i know enough to write in would be harry potter, stranger things, it/stephen king, lord of the rings, maze runner, hunger games... yeah. that might be it? idk. you can always ask

triggers: i don't have many, but i try to avoid writing as/against furry, non-humanoid characters, ERP, non-cis characters (i don't have experience to respectfully write this), doubling, and poly relationships

kinks/limits: i prefer NSFW to only really take up 30% or less of a story, but i'm not against smut. i am fine to keep things vanilla or talk about preferences in DMs! i'm also fine to FTB. the most important thing is the story and characters to me

Or, ‘Entanglement’. That ons has me intrigued (I want to know how that one unfolds too. Which, I know, is not the ask, but I love your fics and realize I haven’t commented on them enough. So, I’m including it here.)

Hi @dayenurose! Short Answer: The one scene for Devil's Poison is basically all their time in Andorra. And Entanglement hasn't happened yet, so not giving any secrets away there. 😁 Devil's Poison was inspired by @ludi-ling's Dangerous Foreplay. I came across the piece during my early days of crawling Deviant Art. I kept coming back to it because I couldn't figure out how Gambit and Rogue would ever be in the situation of undressing while having a knife held to Gambit's neck. Plus, Rogue doesn't typically use knives, so another curiosity.

There was only one possibility that I could ever puzzle out in my mind and that was Rogue being contracted to kill Gambit. Then that brought out a whole other mess of questions like "who would contract her?" and "why would she honor that contract?". Devil's Poison evolved around those questions and became its own organic thing.

There was so much set up I had to write to get to the 'one scene' that by the time I got to it, I almost forgot what had inspired the fic. It had truly taken on a life of its own. I just barely remembered to get the original inspiration in before they started considering each other's situation and feelings. You can see it in Rogue's choice of dress, the way Gambit shoves her up against the wall, even Saunders' physical abuse of Rogue in his high-rise office. And of course, her preferred assassin's weapon - the 'precious' karambit (the thing she tells Jean-Luc is her most prized possession).

As for Entanglement, it was all inspired by one very bored night watching Nova because there was literally nothing else to do during lockdown than watch PBS. I was snagged right away by the intro's super simple definition of quantum entanglement. About halfway through, they described how the two particles that are quantum entangled could be separated by millions of miles but still react to whatever is happening to each other. While the show didn't outright say we all have quantum entangled versions of ourselves half a galaxy away, they heavily implied it was something we should explore/consider. And well, if I say too much more, it'll give away the 'one scene'. 😁

Summary: Dark is feelin sappy and sentimental (with a sprinkling of heartache, for taste)

AN: I’m obsessed with the concept of freckles and moles being the places where past soulmates loved to kiss you the most, so I took that and ran with it -- I hope you enjoy!

It is a quiet Saturday evening. You have been able to keep Dark away from any extra work successfully, using your sweet kisses and loving promises. After spending the day in each other’s quiet company, away from the chaos of the other egos, you’ve found yourself laying across the couch with your legs across Dark’s lap. His gentle caresses along your calf and knee never fail to spark a few butterflies in your stomach. He had set up the record player to play a variety of moony love songs—as much as he tries to conceal his inner romantic, it makes you so giddy.

You have a book in hand, one that you’ve been trying to make time to read for ages, and Dark simply sits with closed eyes in quiet contemplation. You can’t recall the last time you had seen him quite this relaxed. His features are soft, angelic even, and occasionally he quietly hums along to whatever song is playing, his deep bass rattling your bones ever so slightly. It is in this meditative study of your lover that you notice a single freckle, right to the side of his chin. You can’t help but recall a video you had seen in passing on the internet.

“Hey, Dark?” you ask, careful to keep your volume low. There is honestly a good chance he has fallen asleep—he could be such an old man sometimes.

You hear a gentle Hm? His eyes open slightly to look at you, bleary but full of affection.

“Did you know that, apparently, some people think that prominent moles and freckles are the spots where your soulmate in a past life kissed you the most?”

He smiles gently, “That’s fascinating, darling. May I ask what prompted such an observation?”

You set your book to the side, readjusting so that you’re sitting next to Dark, halfway in his lap.

“I can see that your soulmate in a past life loved to kiss you right—” you place a gentle kiss, “—here.”

It takes everything in Dark to maintain his composure as he is overcome with visions of the past. He remembers the way that you would kiss him—no, not him but Damien—in that exact spot every time he passed an exam with flying colors. He remembers noticing the handful of freckles across his chest or the mole on his shoulder, but now realizes that those were never there on Damien’s body. They were, however, placed in almost the same exact spot you would litter kisses whenever Damien would let you be in control for the night. An almost foreign heat rises to his cheeks, but then he sees you. He notices the small spot under your jaw where he—Damien—would kiss you to tease and fluster you. He sees the place on your forehead where Damien would always place a gentle kiss to calm and comfort you. But Dark can see you now, your brow furrowed in concern. He forces himself back to the present, placing a kiss on your forehead and pulling you into his arms.

You’re caught a little off-guard, but you reciprocate immediately. You’ve seen that look in his eyes before, mostly here and there when you first met. It was a sort of deep sadness, as if he knew something you didn’t. You’d always wanted to voice your concerns, console him if needed, but you had been so shy then.

“Is everything okay, Dark?” you ask, timidly, not wanting to upset him further.

He squeezes you tighter, taking a shaky breath. “Everything’s fine, my heart.”

The pet name makes you blush.

“I suppose I’m just feeling sentimental tonight,” he continues, pulling away from you, but not too far. He still holds you close but can’t seem to look you quite in the eyes. “I am simply so grateful to have you in my life.”

You smile at him, gently turning his face to yours and kissing him tenderly. “I love you,” you murmur, pulling away to look at him. He looks back, his dark eyes soft and adoring.

“I love you too, my sweet.”

You both settle back into each other’s arms, appreciating the music and each other’s presence. Resting your head on his shoulder, you close your eyes, allowing yourself to doze. Dark breaks the silence one last time.

“Also, just for your information,” he whispers, “I’m sure that you are the reason I have that freckle on my chin.”

You smile and let out a small huff of amusement before replying, “Yeah, sounds about right.”

As Dark hears your breathing even out, it takes everything within him to not let his glassy eyes shed a tear. His brain is swarmed with painful nostalgia and the misery of having to keep your entire past from you. The secret bears heavily on what little soul he has left. He won’t succumb to the misery, though. You wouldn’t want that. He instead chooses to focus on the fact that you are here now and that, in and of itself, is more than he could ever deserve or ask for.

okay but jess was honestly the most realistic and normal teenage relationship rory had. dean was bordering on abusive and their relationship was too serious for their age. logan's entire existence is just unrealistic if we're being real (and this is coming from a lower middle class kid going to a rich people college). jess had major issues (adhd, avpd, and ptsd are just some of the possibilities) but when he was actually with rory he was just your average kinda nerdy 17 year old with a crush and to expect "reliability" from him is insane. I think my generation has been jaded to a point of no return because the idea that jess is anything but a kid who needs help is insane. he is not an adult who's supposed to make it on his own in the world. he's school should have supported him more and they should have called luke the second he got to 10 absences.

I also hear a lot of people call dean clingy and needy so I need to clarify that dean is neither of those things, he is obsessive. they way jess becomes attached to and partially dependent on rory might be clingy and needy but dean is NOT. he is far worse.

also can we talk about how sad it is that rory was probably the first person to make jess feel safe enough to just be a kid and not an adult

back to my point about school I saw someone say he would have been better off at a school like Chilton and honestly yeah. the work load would have kept him more engaged and private schools are notorious for actually caring about their students which you see clearly with Chilton. they would have called Luke after the first unexcused absence.

also he's issues don't excuse what happened at the party. obviously he had no intention on SAing her that's clear from how slow he is to approach kissing her so she has time so say no because his verbal communication sucks so much just asking makes him anxious. and on top of that he said she did nothing wrong and went after her to apologize once it clicked what was probably going through her head. but with that said he was a little pushing about it when she pushed him away but even he said he didn't even know what to think anymore (about anything going on with himself really). he raised his voice and snapped at her because he was frustrated with himself and that fact that she was pushing him to talk about what was going on when he didn't want to. does this give him the right to raise his voice at her? absolutely not but he was going to apologize so I assume he knew what he did wrong

anyway that scene is not as bad as it's made out to be and honestly it's one of those scenes that you need to look at with a early 2000s lense because it would have probably been interpreted completely different back then

also why didn't she want to bring him to her prom? like she brought dean to a dance a her school why not jess? he was less whiny about wearing a suit too so I can see him having more fun than dean and not getting in a fight with one of her classmates. also what tf was that "because I'll kill you" bs with Tristan like babe your 16 calm down cool it with the fake tough guy shit

I just watched the video the try guys released about ned and while Zachs very outward sadness and Keith's clear disappointment hurts, Eugene's sadness that he is masking as anger kills me. he may look absolutely furious but you can hear in his voice, especially towards the end, just how upset he is.

Alright so ive been seeing this going around, the lack of paint on Sam in ENG . I dont want to start shit though, im saying this as a disclaimer. And i want to say this as controversial as it may be: it was for the best probably.

Voodoo has a history of being portrayed as dark magic which is horrible. Voodoo is a religion not satanic not dark magic. It is as much of a religon as Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, etc. Respect it. I like the bone paint too, it looked cool, but clearly its more cultural appropriation rather than appreciation on Sam (voodoo practicers if you can please tell me if ive said something wrong).

"Cancel culture" isnt just an "sjw" thing, its used to talk about problems. Saying "twst shouldve just stayed in jp" bc of the problematic aspect isnt good. We have to address problematic issues with culture and racism. Twst has racist aspects you cannot deny that. It doesnt mean you cant enjoy twst at all, but stay openminded and listen to minorities when they speak. Cultures arent "aesthetics" :/

after the rain episode 6: some thoughts! <3

silence in slice of life/iyashikei, friendship in a romance-prioritized world, and aquariums and oceans; perspective and priority

quick rundown! tachibana akira is a highschooler no longer being able to participate in track due to a leg injury. Koi wa Ameagari no Yō ni, aka "After the Rain", is about her falling in love with a vastly older man named Kondou Masami and navigating those feelings.

this episode is a window into akira's friendship Kyan Haruka, as well as a chance meeting in the library by akira with masami !

silence in slice of life/iyashikei !

there are many moments where the show demands a silent attention from the audience. theres a scene this episode where it simply is akira walking through the streets, eventually reaching a train station overlooking the scenery. and it just... took my breath away. she just enjoys the view... and then the moment is over when her phone pings a notif lol. and like that, it's over and we move on with the rest of the show.

it made me think about how many shows run today demanding a quick pace--actions, fights, conflict, tension. it made me think about how many people could even appreciate this show--how many people probably thought it was boring without something to fill empty space. how many people couldn't tolerate a scene thats trying to teach you slow down and wait, because you don't have to instantly find what you need. sometimes i wonder if we are losing the capacity watch slower media, when all today's media is to scroll and consume information as fast as possible.... teehee.

i honestly think the silence is the game changer for the show's emotional maturity--it's why i highkey think this show would be categorized as josei (older female audience) rather than shoujo (younger female audience). you dont need akira's thoughts for it to be spelled out. you dont need to hear her gush over masami, or say she's in love, or anything. you see it all by how she acts and how the show carries itself.

there's a trust in the audience that they will understand what's going on. the show knows its trying to draw upon common experiences of what its like to be in love/have a crush--and thus, expects the audience to follow along without having to take away from any of the immersion to explain! <333

friendship in a romance-prioritized world !

i really like how estranged haruka felt from akira. it feels very real--to have a longstanding relationship waver. and to wonder why your dynamic has now changed. like i felt my heart get stabbed when she saw akira with her coworker/new friend, and despite her not distinctly saying anything, i could so clearly hear her wonder:

'what had changed for everything to be so different now?'

i love that, despire akira attempting to gacha a specfic keychain over a love charm rumor--it was haruka who gives her the one she wants. this show has always put the question in the air--why does akira need to have a crush on masami? and an answer is that she feels lacking in her connections, especially in context her isolation from her track group.

anyway, the resolution that haruka re-affirms their friendship is super sweet. it stands outside of the interests that once brought them together (track). and most importantly, it withstands their changing circumstances and needs (no longer spending tons of time together).

it is so important that haruka is the one to give akira that keychain--like i cannot express how much it means. the moment its given to her is the moment the keychain is no longer about masami--it begins to break away this hyper-focus on everything masami. this show isnt just about romance. it never was..!!!

it begins to ground akira back into a world where connections of all kinds matter, and she has to acknowledge the one waiting for her all along.

idk about you but i live in a world where romance gets put on a pedastal. essential. necessary. required. if you dont experience it, youre being left out. its the end goal--its common. its not a bad thing at all, but it does reflect in media! romance...!! and thats why when i get to see the nuance of friendship and a one-sided romance that is explored (why akira is in love, rather than centered on the progression of the romance itself), its very exciting!

experiencing media about romance is thrilling--it always is <3 but experiencing the heartache of friendship is few and far between, which makes it a certain type of special.

romance doesnt beat friendship. and friendship doesnt beat romance. they just have different places in life~!

i do believe however, that because we are entrenched in a romantic society, we see more accurate representations of romance, and less so of friendship--just by margin of portrayal. just an observation!

aquariums and oceans; perspective and priority

when akira tries to seek a common ground by gauging out masami's interest in recommending her "books "pure literature" books, masami gently re-orients her. he calls the library a "sea", but then the entire library becomes an aquarium in akira's eyes.

it kinda kills me with how pretty it is <3 perspective, perspective, perspective!!! whenever we are with akira, its such a hopeful, bright youthfulness. the romanticization of an aquarium--the association of a date, maybe a place where she gets to observe masami as she wishes, and just overall vibrancy is so cute.

but as soon as we move to masami's inner thoughts, everything returns to as it is--he does not see her in the same way she does. whats more, she comes out with two books--one she wants to read because it interests her, and one about track.

i love this scene because it really puts out a question: right now in her life, what is akira's priority?

for her, having a new environment, new relationships, and a new crush to indulge in was necessary. she needed time. she needed a community to feel grounded in. she needed space away from the environment that she feels lost in.

but then, masami (unconsciously) poses the question again, and i really love that. right now, now that shes reconnected with haruka, what is akira's priority?

its a really big scawy question to ask. and its one everyone has to ask themselves periodically. what do i need right now? what is my priority? its cool that the show poses it--and forces the audience to reflect for themselves on that as well <3

this episode def feels like an almost-turning point for akira, especially as we begin to hint that we will soon dig into masami's past and why he is the way he is. she is beginning to acknowledge what she needs--her discomfort, her hopes, her frustrations.

i love her so much because she is relatable--it is so easy to rebound. to move on without finding resolution, and to cope with difficult things with fantasy or romance. and the show doesnt portray it as a negative thing--its very, very natural. its normal. its okay, and akira is beginning to ease her way to that conclusion as well.
