No real reason but I’m slowly being sucked back into my Rizzoli and Isles fixation and I was just thinking about how I started out with Jane as my favorite character because I was a tomboy and I thought Jane was super cool but by the time I was halfway through the series Maura became my favorite because I loved how smart she was and I just wanted her to be happy.
I really feel like I need to do a rewatch. No one talks about this show anymore. There’s no reactions or new reviews. I think it’s the one crime drama show I stuck with until the very end.
But do I also want to sit through the horrible love interests and how the writers seem hellbent on not letting Jane and Maura be affectionate with each other at all in the last two seasons?
I’m so torn. The first four seasons are so good… I remember them fondly.

I thought I’d be crazy busy next week with studying.
I only have a cheat sheet to write up. A CHEAT SHEET. THAT’S VERY LITTLE. NOT AT ALL LIKE WHAT I THOUGHT. I’ll be busy but with cleaning instead of studying which is kind of nice honestly.
I finish my math exam tomorrow, go in friday to make the food associated with my final project for food science, then I get the weekend to write up my cheat sheet which I’ll use for law. Monday and tuesday I do my law exam and tuesday is when I’ll do my food science exam during the afternoon.
I don’t even need to study for my food science exam since it’s literally just “pick four questions, give your opinions” which is less work on me and it means I never have to think about carbohydrates in the science-y context again after that afternoon.
I will literally be finished with my entire academic career by quarter to four on tuesday?? and then nine days later I will be finished with my academic career and have a diploma to prove it??
what the fuck. where did the time go. I swear it was september last week.

03.10.2022 20/30 Days of Digital Detox
Guys, it is already October. That is so crazy. The year has barely begun and you want to tell me that it is nearly over already.
Doesn’t feel like it. I can buy Christmas Decoration already, even though Halloween hasn’t even happened yet!!
But it also means, that soon is the time for the New Year’s resolutions. And if we put in the hard work now and try to build up some good habits, imagen how easy it will be to keep up your resolutions coming 2023!

Sixteen.
'sixteen, sixteen, sixteen, sixteen...', the words feel foreign on my tongue as I repeat it, lost in thought.
Sixteen weren't a lot of years to have lived in; to have lived as. Sixteen didn't warrant rules for when seventeen comes and sixteen felt too sudden, I was fifteen merely yesterday. I don't feel like maturing but my driver's test is tomorrow and time has eroded the tires of my previous bicycle. I haven't lived life yet. But as I grow older, gradually leaving behind wisps of my token youth and forgetting memories that stay etched in the emptiness of past contentedness, I realize the cruelty of existence despite it all. Oh, what cruelty lies in the act of kissing your husband as lingering feelings for old lovers resurface. Cruelty in the pureness of watching your daughter grow; cruelty in the state of despondence you've subjected yourself to but time has snatched away your happy ending, the one thing you deserve but now, lies with you in your grave made of choices that you wish your daughter wouldn't make.
Your daughter is sixteen and stressing about time's barbarous intentions at sabotaging her vain efforts. You wish to console her but your fingers merely graze the back of her head as you're pulled back into the loop devoid of reality.
You wish, one last time for time to pity you and let you free.

neocities guide - why you should build your own html website
do you miss the charm of the 90s/00s web where sites had actual personality instead of the same minimalistic theme? are you feeling drained by social media and the constant corporate monopoly of your data and time? do you want to be excited about the internet again?
try neocities!!
what is neocities?
neocities is a free hosting website that lets you build your own html website from scratch, with total creative control. in their own words:
"we are tired of living in an online world where people are isolated from each other on boring, generic social networks that don't let us truly express ourselves. it's time we took back our personalities from these sterilized, lifeless, monetized, data mined, monitored addiction machines and let our creativity flourish again."
why should I make my own website?
web3 has been overtaken by capitalism & conformity. websites that once were meant to be fun online social spaces now exist solely to steal your data and sell you things. it sucks!!
building a personal site is a great way to express yourself and take control of your online experience.
what would I even put on a website?
the best part about making your own site is that you can do literally whatever the hell you want! focus on a specific subject or make it a wild collection of all your interests. share your art! make a shrine for one of your interests! post a picture of every bird you see when you step outside! make a collection of your favorite blinkies! the world is your oyster !!
here are some cool example sites to inspire you:
recently updated neocities sites | it can be fun to just look through these and browse people's content!
