At our rehearsal venue early today- we always clean the downstairs part of the community centre ina Wednesday, and here is Rich (playing Grantaire and also action choreographer and armourer) is checking over the guns for the act 2 revolution scenes. We use cap guns which have been made in the style of antique flintlocks. Over the years the mechanisms can get a bit worn so they all need a check over and test firing - so that’s one of the extra behind the scenes tasks being done today before the rest of cast and crew start to arrive.
