I’ve been seeing debates on whether Hasbro should do a remake/continuation of G1’s cartoon. While most have said no for one reason or another, citing the poor reception to MOTU: R and the mixed reception to X-Men in particular, I’m more curious on the matter. While I agree we don’t need it, part of me really wants Hasbro to do it just to see what they’d do with it.

I’ve seen some point out there wouldn’t be toys to sell for it, but my rebuttal is that’s what Legacy/Prime Generations is for. Basically just have this hypothetical show be the WFC/PW equivalent. One MAJOR stipulation: it must be tonally in line with the original cartoon and Transformers Devastation. Make this an all ages, but especially kid friendly show. None of that nonsense PW/WFC did. In fact keep those writers away from it, bring in Simon Furman, Flint Dille & Bob Budiansky to throw in some sexy adjectives and be script supervisors/editors to the new staff.

As for the plot, it depends on what they’d do: full remake-AU or continuation. The later would be simpler I think, just following up on what Galvatron and Zarak have been up to and the Autobots’/humanity’s reaction to it.

No matter what they’d do I feel like Hasbro would insist on lite retcons that include the 13 Primes and their Relics, which in turn fuel Galvatron and Zarak’s ambitions, while Optimus and Hot Rod have shared premonitions about the history of the Prime lineage, revealing in the cartoon universe, the thirteen primes were the prototypes the Quintessons developed after the Trans-Organics, with the Prime relics being Quintesson tools the Primes inherited after the Quints were driven off Cybertron. The Quints aren’t particularly happy their own tools are being uncovered, let alone seeing Galvatron using the Forge to upgrade his troops into Micromasters, Action Masters, & Pretenders. It becomes a race to see who collects the relics, with the Autobots determined to stop the Quintessons and Decepticons from abusing this ancient power. All the while, Solus Prime, Alchemist Prime and Quintus Prime are watching from the sidelines, the last survivors of the ancient Primes. And because Furman, there’d be a bit in here about Grimlock being a vessel for Onyx Prime temporarily, lol.

A clean slate AU could be done any number of ways, though my stipulation would absolutely no Allspark plot, but instead maybe combine elements of Dark of the Moon and Devastation where the factions are looking for the Ferotaxxis, which possess the data necessary to restore Cybertron by producing Synthetic Energon to whoever finds it first. The Ferotaxxis is unearthed by humans meanwhile, who study it and the unearthed Nova Prime, seeing a technological boom as far as the 80’s/90’s are concerned (similar to the Bay films and Sumac Systems in Animated). Nova isn’t particularly pleased at being poked and prodded by what he deems a lazy inferior species, and like Bay Sentinel concocts a scheme to screw over humanity, Optimus’ Autobots and secure the Ferotaxxis to gift Cybertron Earth’s energy. Because Cybertron is all that matters, the devil with anything that gets in the way of it.

The Autobots human friends would be Spike, Carly and Chip, the children of scientists and engineers working on Project O-Part; the O-Part, the Ferotaxxis, reacting to the Autobots and Decepticons presence on Earth.

The plot would then extend to the lineage of the 13 Primes and their relics, as they were things Nova and the Ferotaxxis were privy to, leading to the Autobots and the kids from stopping the Decepticons from getting their hands on the relics, with another wrinkle being added that some countries already found some like Carbomya, and won’t surrender them easily…

Like I said this concept can go any direction, but for a pivoted AU, this is just how I’d do it, going by what I assume Hasbro would still want with the 13 Primes being a component. Elements of Skybound would probably be here too, like Spike and Carly being those designs in particular.

But I think continuing where The Rebirth left off would be the better option, being the easiest to work with and with the already admittedly shoddy continuity of the G1 cartoon, you could pretty effortlessly add aspects of Skybound, IDW (and by that I mean characters like Nova, Rung, Rubble, Termagax, Three Fold Spark, etc) and the modern 13 lore.

Will do they do it? If they’re desperate enough, absolutely, but I don’t know if we’re entirely there yet. It’s getting closer and closer though.

Mina Ashido - Navel Laser

Her pink skin, hair, and horns were all very eye-catching, but most eye-catching of all is her ability to shoot a bright powerful laser from her bellybutton. Only for a second though or she gets massive cramps.

Tsuyu Asui- Zero Gravity

She accidentally floats herself a lot, so holds her arms out from her body to prevent this from happening. She loves the water, but swimming through the air is almost as good.

Tenya Iida - Brainwashing

Despite not having his family's prized quirk, he's resolved to prove that he can still become a hero and uphold their legacy. He makes a point to be as honest and straightforward as possible to make up for his more sinister quirk.

Ochako Ururaka - Frog

She comes from a poor mutant family that had to face a lot of discrimination. She's going to use her frog-like powers to become a successful hero that makes lots of money to support them.

Mashirao Ojiro - Explosion

He's a pretty normal teenager, and teenagers sweat a lot. Unfortunately his sweat is explosive nitroglycerin. With a lot of training, he makes it work for him.

Denki Kaminari - Creation

He can make anything if he knows its composition! Unfortunately he's... really bad at memorizing what different things are made of. Mostly he just makes useless junk.

Eijiro Kirishima - Dark Shadow

He's a friendly and manly guy! His sentient quirk, not so much. The shadow version of himself that emerges from his body in the darkness is a terrifying quirk, but if anyone can wrangle it, he can!

Koji Koda - Earphone Jack

He's a quiet gentle guy with a tough rocky exterior. He hears everything though, with his sound-boosting quirk. And he can get Real loud when he wants to be.

Rikido Sato - One For All

He grew up quirkless, and with no great ambition other than to be kind. He gave his food to a skeletal man he met on the beach one day. They became friends, and eventually, the man revealed he was truly All Might, the number one hero. He was chosen as his successor, and now he had a motivation, to do as much good as possible by becoming the next symbol of peace. Through kindness, anything is possible.

Mezo Shoji - Invisibility

He always wears a mask. Not that it covers anything up. He's tall, buff, and completely invisible.

Kyoka Jiro - Anivoice

She's a punk-rock music lover. Unfortunately, animals can understand her, and most of the time they don't agree with her style. If you need an angry swarm of any creature that might be nearby, she's your hero.

Hanta Sero - Half Cold Half Hot

He has one of the world's most powerful quirks by total luck. Too bad he just wants to chill out and have fun.

Fumikage Tokoyami - Hardening

He has an unrelated mutation giving him feathers and a beak. His quirk allows him to turn those features to steel by hardening them to an incredibly sturdy substance.

Shoto Todoroki - Tape

The pro hero Endeavor was trying to create the perfect successor. And sometimes, a kid with a perfect split of white and red hair develops a totally unique quirk through a strange mutation. He can create tape. And shoot it from his elbows.

Toru Hakagure - Dupliarms

She's a totally normal girl! With six arms. That she can grow extra body parts on. She just wishes there was a cute guy out there with a thing for weird arms.

Katsuki Bakugou - Tail

He's determined to be the greatest. He may be pretty normal aside from a powerful prehensile tail, but that thing is a constant lashing force of destruction under the force of his rage.

Izuku Midoriya - Sugar Rush

When he was a kid, eating sugar would make him absolutely bonkers. His mother cut it out of his diet, but turns out his quirk transforms sugar into the motherlode of all rushes, granting him superhuman speed and strength. Only, afterwards, his body totally gives out.

Hitoshi Shinso - Engine

He's got engines in his legs. He's a speedster but never really figured out how to use his quirk for combat, so didn't manage to make it into the hero course. He wants to prove himself though, and worked hard for this transfer.

Momo Yaoyorozu - Electrification

She is a top-level student, her intellect is her pride. Unfortunately, if she uses her quirk too much, that prized intelligence is shocked away to nothing as her IQ drops tremendously until she recovers.

eventually he DOES manage to pry himself out from under you, and you simply yawn and quietly snuggle against him, Foul Legacy doing his best to contain his chirps of elation. he leans into your cuddles, the Abyssal magic radiating from you soothing his tumultuous heart- who knew that the ever-elusive Harbinger could be so sweet?

after that you're constantly approached by Childe, who you suppose you now consider a friend, asking you with pleading eyes to hold him again. it's so comforting, see- and Foul Legacy's never been HELD before!! and as much as you prefer solitude, you must admit it is nice to meet someone like you <33

lycaon's curse

even a man who is pure at heart and says his prayers by night, may become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms, and the moon is shining bright.

given how the game did nick dirty on account of making him a basic plot-explaining tool, I'm gonna go ahead and headcanon a whole lycaon-the-first-werewolf-related greek au for him and yes, there are curses, mischief, gods and goddesses

so, some history first. lycaon, an arcadian king, is considered to be the first werewolf, and though sources differ on what exactly happened, two things are clear:

he offered zeus a meal of human flesh;

as punishment, zeus turned him into half-man, half-wolf, to show his beastly nature. supposedly, the silver aversion is a part of the whole 'you shall never eat like a man again [that is, from a silver plate], but will feast like an animal instead' thing.

some sources say initially, lycaon wanted to gain the gods' blessings in order to restore the once-prosperous land, and zeus favoured him because lycaon built him a grand temple. however, lycaon became obssessed with the idea of worshipping gods to the point of making human sacrifices and killing visitors of his land.

anyway, look at this awesome art by Sirmaril7. the turning of lycaon. i'm in awe.

so imagine young nikolaos, a descendant of the great king lycaon, unknowingly carrying the curse in him. zeus being a vindictive bitch, he curses the whole bloodline (although it's also said that lycaon bit his 50-something children, so), yet the wolf curse does not reveal itself so many generations after.

nikolaos is a soft-tempered young man, hard-working and honest, and shining. he is what's called beautiful rather than handsome. his beauty, people say, outshines the sun itself.

apollo, the god of the sun and a son of zeus (who as we remember is vindictive bitch, so), is angry with nikolaos as no one dares to be superior to a deity. having uncovered the secret of nikolaos's legacy, he tricks him the same way lycaon tried to trick zeus.

you see, nikolaos is very much in love with abigaia, a kind-hearted, flame-haired girl who loves him just as much. on the day of their wedding, apollo comes down from the sky to bless the pair, and a whole marvelous feast appears, magnificent at sight, rotten with a dark twist within. unknowongly, nikolaos eats human flesh, and the moment he does, lycaon's curse returns.

nikolaos is transformed into a brutal wolf, a creature so monstrous it wouldn't dare to even see the light of day, not to mention outshine the sun. horror-stricken, the creature runs to the wilderness to bury itself in shadows.

let's not forget about abigaia, though. for days, she wonders the woods trying to find the trail of her lost lover, yet she's never closer than the yellow gleam of his eyes, too far away from her. nikolaos is so afraid to harm his beloved, he runs further and further. he does not trust the beast and is ashamed of his own monstrosity. grieving, he howls day and night, until even magical creatures avoid his presense.

abigaia makes an offering to apollo and asks him to lift the curse, yet he is adamant. a wounded pride does not heal easily. other gods do not intervene. to them, humans are but sparks of falling stars against the vast night sky, their mortal woes too insignificant against eternal life. finally, abigaia pleads the goddesses of the moon to oppose apollo and take the curse away. artemis, the hunting goddess of the halfmoon and a twin sister to apollo, refuses her plea. hecate, the magic goddess of the dark moon and a cousin to apollo, also refuses. but selene, the goddess of the full moon, takes pity on her.

selene weaves the threads of the curse and binds them to herself, taking apollo's power in their never-ending day and night, sun and moon confrontation. she makes it that for almost thirty days, nikolaos remains human as he's always been, but when selene comes to take the sky, she takes him with her. on those nights, nikolaos is to lose all humanity and run with the moon in his beastly form. to spare him the horror, she makes him forget the night.

and so nikolaos is able to return to his beloved abigaia, and their reunion is celebrated so, that even mystical creatures of the forests and rivers join them for festivities. nikolaos's bloodline continues, and abigaia gives birth to four strong, handsome boys. and everything is well.

when the boys come of age, they join their father for a run under the moon, and when he cannot run anymore, four wolf cubs repay his eternal gratitude to selene by taking his place.

Transformers: Ashen Wings Information Page

For those curious, unaware or just stumbling randomly, welcome. For a good bit now, I've been thinking about writing my own Transformers AU, where I use the figures I collect as the main way to tell its story.

Having been inspired by this post I found completely at random, I'm now going to compile everything I've written down in one place for future ease of reference.

This'll be a long post, too, so I'm putting all this info under a read more cut so anyone who doesn't want to scroll for an hour or so can go right on by.

[Section 1: List of Characters]

The cast of Ashen Wings is split up into four primary factions; Autobots, Decepticons and Terrorcons.

[Section 2: General Worldbuilding]

-In the ancient past, Cybertron was a rather tribal society, where they worshipped two deities; Prima, Goddess of Light, Day, Order and Life, and Unicron, God of Darkness, Night, Chaos and Death. -Ancient Cybertronians believed the two gods, brother and sister, where locked in an endless war, their planet caught in the middle as the two tumbled around each other in the sky above, each and every sunrise and sunset signaling Prima's small victories and defeats in conjunction with her brother. -One day, this balance was interrupted when the Ancient Cybertronians witnessed their first Solar Eclipse, where the planet's twin moons blotted out the sun. Fearing for Prima's safety, they created a series of super weapons known as The 13 to destroy the moons and bring Prima's light back. -The plan worked and the twin moons were destroyed, but at the cost that Cybertron was tidally locked. As one half froze and the other burned, the Ancient Cybertronians pleaded to their Goddess for help. -Prima seemingly obliged, and The 13 would transform before the people's optics, becoming immensely powerful warriors now known as The 13 Primes. The 13 Primes would then undo the damage, making the planet spin once more, before 12 of their members suddenly vanishing without a trace. -The last Prime left behind, Alpha Trion, sought to grant wisdom to his kin and created The Legacy of The Primes, a contingency plan that sought to pass his powers onto future generations of bots so that his wisdom should never leave their side. -In the modern day, the line has continued unquestioned, with Nova Prime-- a well-respected and publicly adored hero figure-- being the latest to carry Alpha Trion's mantle. -However, as the generations have passed, Alpha Trion's wisdom has been increasingly forgotten or omitted and those that bare the Prime title have not sought to teach his ways to their kin, resulting in the formation of the Functionist Council, which seeks to limit and control Cybertronian society by prescribing roles and jobs to bots based on their natural Alternate Modes. Fast cars become racers adored by the public, Jets are enrolled in Air Force Academies to defend Cybertron from alien threats, Tanks are forced down into Cybertron's underbellies, mining for resources in hazardous environments so that the politicians can build golden cities higher and higher.

[Section 3: Important Plot Points]

The story begins as you all may know it, with the Great War on Cybertron.

-Standard Aligned Continuity depiction of Pre-War Cybertron, with a Miner named D-16 (later rebranded "Megatron" by his admirers) fighting for the equal rights of all Cybertronians from the Gladiatorial Pits of Kaon. -Megatron allies with Orion Pax, a librarian at the Iacon Hall of Records, and Ratbat, a Political Senator working on the Functionist High Council. -The three meet, but while Ratbat speaks of violent revolution, Megatron and Orion want more peaceful means to reform the system, preventing the incitement of chaos. -Ratbat, left vindicated by the duo's refusal, bombs and assassinates the Council, gives himself fake injuries, plants evidence and blames Megatron for the attack. -Megatron is shortly arrested, but he knows Ratbat is the real mastermind. His rage swells and he causes a mass riot, rallying other prisoners (such as Soundwave and Starscream) to his cause and escaping, saying that if Ratbat wanted a true violent revolution, then that's exactly what he was going to get. -Ratbat is soon murdered by this group of prison rioters, dubbed Decepticons by a news media outlet, but the chaos wouldn't end with him and the Decepticons would keep attacking everything in sight, despite Megatron's orders to stand down. -As chaos consumed Cybertron and the remnants of the Functionist Military were unable to hold them back, Orion was approached by the ailing Nova Prime, who had sensed his time was coming to an end and a new successor was to be chosen. Naming him Optimus Prime, Nova would pass along the Matrix of Light-- Alpha Trion's dormant Weapon Form-- and everything he knew or had ever been taught. Optimus, with this renewed sense of purpose, would confront Megatron alone. -Megatron was prepared to fight Optimus, calling him a betrayer to everything they stood for, but Optimus corrected him, telling Megatron that he had lost sight of their goals, and if he wanted to truly make things right, he should truly consider long and hard what should be done next now. Megatron, heeding Optimus words, would fly off into space to begin a long process of soul searching among the stars. -Back on Cybertron, without their leader, the Decepticons were left in disarray and most were re-arrested as Optimus sought to get things under control. -Those remaining Decepticons who avoided imprisonment would make a bot named Tarn-- who Megatron considered to be an adopted son-- be their new leader in Megatron's absence. Tarn tried to lead the Decepticons, but found too much pressure on his shoulders, causing him to leave their ranks and flee into space as well. This would land Tarn on Earth, who hid out on the tropical islands of Hawaii. -Shockwave and Jhiaxus, two bots who had been arrested by the Functionist Council for pursuing careers in science instead of the military as ace fliers, would then end up hiring a team of skilled Bounty Hunters-- the Terrorcons-- to retrieve Tarn. In turn, Optimus would send a small team of his own-- the Autobots-- to do the same, led by his own adopted daughter figure, a famous champion racer named Override. -Upon getting to Earth, the two factions would scuffle a bit as they searched for Tarn. Quickly realizing that his team is outnumbered, Scourge, leader of the Terrorcons, would have his allies dig up some dinosaur skeletons and flood them with a nanotech virus, creating the Fossilizers Paleotrex, Ractonite and Wingfinger, as well as their combined mode, Gravesite. -Eventually, the Autobots would find Tarn first and escort him back to Cybertron. The Terrorcons, enraged at losing a major payday, would reveal their true colors as cultists who worship Unicron and were mutated or enhanced by his dark powers, hence why they could revive the dead. They would then begin to take over Cybertron, using more of Unicron's powers to brutally injure Optimus and create a false clone of Megatron, weaving a conspiracy that Megatron had actually been dead this whole time, murdered in cold blood by the cruel and unfeeling Optimus.

Tarn, Override and their remaining Decepticons and Autobots would work together to form a resistance against Scourge and the Terrorcon-controlled Cybertron, but no progress in taking back the planet could be made up until the real Megatron would return from his soul searching.

During his time in space, Megatron would happen upon The Chemical Lenses, the dormant Weapon Form of Alchemist Prime, a master of manipulation over matter and energy, able to transform any one element into another.

However, the Chemical Lenses were infected by Space Barnacles, and in his attempts to clean them off, Megatron himself was infected. Alchemist's ghost, noticing Megatron's plight, saved them both from Space Barnacles. Megatron apologized for his failure, but Alchemist denied the apology, saying he did what he could and that's what matters.

Alchemist would then bestow upon Megatron a special power, but without telling him how to use it, saying only Prima herself could show him, and only when the time was right.

With this new unknown power in hand, Megatron would return to Cybertron, only to see what the Terrorcons had done to the planet. Enraged by their chaos and discord, Megatron would singlehandedly carve a path of death through the Terrorcon ranks, killing his clone, Nightbird and Battletrap before then moving on to Scourge himself.

Scourge was saved at the last minute by Sideways, but not before Megatron had unleashed the power granted to him by Alchemist Prime. Antimatter leaked from his eyes like tears as he reduced Gravesite to atoms and dust.

With the Terrorcons fleeing and scattered, Megatron would then use his power to repair and upgrade Optimus, giving him a Super Mode.

Optimus and Megatron would then work together to rebuild what the Terrorcons had destroyed and unite Cybertron under one banner. Should the Terrorcons ever return, they'd be ready.

[Section 4: Side Stories]

Beyond what the main plot tells, various side stories also take place at various points in the timeline.

During Tarn's stay on Earth, he would witness the battles between Override's Autobots and Scourge's Terrorcons from afar, where it would quickly become apparent that he had fallen in love with her.

Tarn would initially be terrified of this fact, but after being taken back to Cybertron and leading the rebellion against the Terrorcons with her, his love would be actualized, and he would ask her to be his Conjunx Endura by the time of the real Megatron's return.

Before the onset of the Great War, Starscream was a prominent Military General working for the Functionist Council, but was court marshalled and imprisoned when he refused to fire on civilians. When Megatron escaped and the Decepticon Riots ensued, Starscream was at the forefront of the chaos, guiding fellow Seekers in bombing several buildings. However, his longtime Conjunx Endura, Windblade, had been inside one by mere chance and was injured by debris. Windblade would break up with Starscream and swear revenge for his seeming betrayal, causing them both to grow cold and distant, though they would cross swords several times at several points in time. Windblade would eventually find peace after the Terrorcons occupation of Cybertron was removed by training with Prowl in the art of Metallikato, but Starscream hasn't had similar luck. He now roams the galaxy as a vagabond, trying to find any possible way he could apologize to his lost love.

At some point in time, Tarn is visited by the ghost of his future self, taking the form of a Samurai named Bludgeon. Bludgeon tells Tarn that he hails from an alternate future where Megatron fails and is slain by Scourge, and he has become haunted by the action, unable to pass on. Bludgeon demands Tarn not make the same mistakes he did, to prevent that future from taking place, and Tarn agrees, though without clear instruction. Regardless, Bludgeon vanishes into the afterlife, leaving his sword and skull mask behind. Tarn has since begun taking up both, training day in and day out, waiting patiently for Scourge and Sideways' inevitable return.

[Final Section: Misc. Details & Fun Facts]

-Megatron's Antimatter powers gifted to him by Alchemist Prime mix the jagged spines of WFC Dark Energon with the clouds of energy emitting from his eyes of their IDW depiction, making them extremely dangerous and unpredictable.

-Early drafts of the story had Tarn and Override be Megatron and Optimus' biological kids, but it was changed so they're adopted instead so that the timeline makes more sense.

-There is no Ashen Wings version of the DJD or Damus/Glitch. Tarn has always just been Tarn and, likewise, was never corrupted from being Optimus' friend into a worshipper of Megatron. --There was plans initially for an Ashen Wings version of the DJD, but they would've had different code names and group title, but without Hasbro making any Legacy figures of them, they can't be included.

-The plot of there being a conspiracy regarding Megatron's death and the creation of a clone wasn't the initial plan, but things sort of evolved this way when I wanted Studio Series Bumblebee Movie Concept Art Megatron, but had to justify its existence in conjunction with Studio Series Gamer Edition Megatron when I had just gotten that before BBM Megs was announced. --The same line of thinking also applies to Earthrise Optimus and Legacy Armada Optimus, but instead of a clone, I relegated the LA figure to being an upgrade.

In conclusion, that should be everything of note about Ashen Wings. If anyone has any more questions, I'm happy to answer. This AU's plot is also always updating as I expand my collection, so this post will no doubt be updated in time.

sure! everything about the au is below this read more:

luke triton is the unknowing son of misthallery village's lord clark triton and doctor brenda triton! brenda's obviously one of the village doctors, typically taking care of medicinal needs & caring for patients. her physician knowledge is PEAK. while, clark is basically on good terms with the witches around his area and encourages healthy relationships between his villagers and said witches.

clark is, unfortunately, kidnapped in this version by jean descole - who is a brim hat - and brenda is extremely worried for her husband. that said, luke is the one who witnessed clark's abduction and is forcefully given a tattoo. it was essentially jean's intent to make luke into his apprentice, but he also knew about clark's connection to his younger brother and it's for his 'master plan.' you know, securing the legacies... which are forbidden magic items from the pre-pact days.

hershel hears of the news, hides luke's tattoo from the knights view, and takes him in as his apprentice. brenda knows about this, but it's generally kept hush-hush since she's from a witch family and all. hershel's not chasing after the legacies, despite his interest in magic archaeology & history. he's chasing after jean, believing that the brim hat has answers to why he's forgotten a lot of his childhood.

hershel's watchful eye is randall, who is also his best friend and they snuck out at lot in their assembly days to hang out. randall is extremely into hershel, but it's not public information to the apprentices. this is an open secret to the other witches, due to how quick rumors spread.

additional notes:

luke's full name is lucrentius. he goes by luke, which isn't a mouthful to call him by. lucrentius also means 'wealth', tying into the themes about knowledge and wisdom that's in both original sources!

emmy is a member of the knights moralis whose spearmanship is well-respected and her physical combat skills are something to behold. she's erased memories before, but tries her best to not feel guilty about it.

desmond leads a double life of brim hat and pointed hat. he's not suspected due to his fame and previous apprenticeship underneath the sage of friendship. jean descole is his brim hat persona, due to the nature of brim hats never revealing their faces.

+ desmond also uses transformation magic - which is forbidden - to shift into different forms. it's tattooed across his entire body, except for his face and hands, which is why he's selective & private about his connections.

hershel's other apprentices include: flora, alfendi, and katrielle. all three are his adopted children with different circumstances.

claire is technically deceased, but she's been revived with time reversal magic - it was bill hawks' idea to experiment with it. she's in a loop, repeating the same day with her memories in-tact. shame.

clive is a pointed hat on the tip of becoming a brim hat, mostly to beat the shit out of bill hawks. the dove house is also a bloodline from the day of the pact, like the reinhold house.

luke's magic tattoo allows him to communicate and understand animals. yes, clark also has one, but it's less advanced.

aurora is a golem, another feat of forbidden magic, from the azran empire. she's pretending to be an apprentice under desmond's watch and isn't too well-versed in the modern world.

there is no targent, but brim hats are independent and know each other by name. bronev reinel is one of them - he's responsible for a lot of things in this au. lol.
