I'm still a little caught up in the madness that was the past few years, so while I might not be creating wholly new works to put on here...expect this page to get filled with numerous old images of mine.
I'm sure more than a few folks are going to be happy all my art is now apparently in one place rather than just

I'm thempire iain, vampire Vtuber and card game extraordinaire! I like Yu-Gi-Oh and pokemon games! I also a witch and like 3am! You should hang out with me :3
I’ve had this handle held over for ages, now it is time to shine!
If you were following me on Twitter it’s the same old Finn shenanigans! Finnannigans!
Okay, possibly strange but honest question: I know we've obviously all been blocking pornbots for-stinkin-ever, and it's gotten so very very old.
And then there are those that aren't exactly pornbots, but are just.....slightly suggestive or flirty selfies as avatar, devoid of any content (zero posts or likes) 'blogs' as new followers,
Until now, I've just blocked and reported them as spam. Now, I'm starting to wonder..... with the mass transfer from twitter, etc., I've seen comment threads talking about whether reblogging is considered polite, and how the 'likes system works'. Are these just lost newbies lurking? following what they have an interest in, but not interacting? I mean, I'd rather active followers; but I don't want to turn away those who are just..... shy?
But, I also don't want to fall for scammers. So..... thoughts?
mister michael flanagan sir if you see this welcome I’m so sorry about the porn but also not please just don’t look happy to have you here on the hellsite but please for the love of god don’t tell haimish what I have done
I just came from Twitter where society is collapsing and over here on Tumblr people are making up intricate plot details for a Martin Scorsese movie that doesn't exist. Look, ya'll are insane but I like the vibes, okay?
coming over from twitter to tumblr after years of primarily using twitter feels very lonely.
we can say a lot more and yet somehow it feels a lot less like we're being seen or heard; it's the reason we moved away from our previous tumblr accounts in 2017 in favor of the faster engagement of twitter.
we don't really ever feel like we have much to offer or to say, and this platform feels so much more driven by people who make things; we're definitely NOT that.
we guess we don't know why we're here, but if we're lonely everywhere, here's good enough.
I don’t know if I’m the only Twitter expat who’s experienced this, but for years now, I’d open Tumblr and only see posts from a handful of people I follow, and I’d come back hours later and it wouldn’t have updated at all. I figured all my followees were gone too. Then last week I realized that I’d been defaulted into algorithmic dash and I wasn’t seeing most people’s new posts. I turned that off in settings and now get a much more Twitter-like firehose of content.
"How the hell was my 8th grade Social Studies teacher NOT fired?"
As you know if you have been visiting me here for a while, I have not used Twitter for about 2 years and have no plans to use it again. (If you don’t know why I left, I explained here.) But I do like to check in now and then on writers’ talk and I did so again the other day. Time for another visit (at times light-heartedly) to Twitter’s #writingcommunity:
Do you have a critique group or critique…
"tumblr not having a discoverability algorithm makes it difficult to reach a wide audience on here" TAGS?????? did people just forget that tags exist and people use tags to find things they like and they can follow tags and it will show up on their dash even if they dont follow said artist like what?? tumblr is the only social media site where art and """""cOnTEnT"""""" can get shared around for YEARS.
