"Uraume-san! Uraume-san!" Y/N calls, running through the halls of the large shrine to approach the monk.
"Y/N." Uraume greets back neutrally, turning their head away from the village man that they were speaking to moments earlier, tattered clothes dirtying the floors of the shrine.
"Eh?" Y/N pauses, smile faltering as she looks between the two. "Were you busy again? Sorry... I can—"
"No." Uraume interrupts firmly, turning their body to completely face the girl that had started to slink further back into the shrine. "It's fine."
"Really? I don't want to be a nuisance..." Y/N frowns apprehensively.
Uraume sighs at the insecure and nervous behavior coming from the normally out-going girl. "It's only a minor issue, someone else can deal with... him."
Uraume sends a subtle glare back at the man, prompting him to straighten his spine.
"Y-Yes! I should be g-going anyway..." The man stammers, quickly rushing out of the shrine like a scared mouse.
Y/N blinks in surprise as the man disappears from view. "Huh. You're really scary, Uraume-san."
Uraume frowns faintly at the admission, opening their mouth to say something as they look back at Y/N, words dying in their throat at the sight of the girl smiling at them in admiration.
"You and Sukuna-sama are so cool." Y/N sighs with an amazed smile, wonder dancing in her eyes.
Uraume blinks in stunned silence, it (embarrassingly) taking a moment to recover before they speak again. "What is it you wanted, Y/N?"
"Oh, right!" Y/N easily perks back up again, smile returning full-force. "I was wondering if you wanted to go peach picking with me! It's in season!"
"I-If it's not too much of an issue, of course..." Y/N adds, glancing away from Uraume sheepishly. "I wouldn't mind going alone—"
"No, you're not permitted to leave without Sukuna-sama or I joining you after last time." Uraume cuts off bluntly, never the one to sugarcoat things.
"It's not my fault that guy wouldn't leave me alone." Y/N huffs childishly, turning her head to the side with a pout.
"Of course not. It's merely a precaution." Uraume replies, tone completely unreadable. Although when Y/N glances over, her eyes catch onto their hands that were tightening into fists at the mention of that particular attempt.
Of course, people outside the shrine were aware of Y/N— a completely normal human with nothing special about her that, somehow, got in Ryomen Sukuna's favor.
So it didn't take long enough for people to target Y/N whenever she left the safety of the shrine— her being the only person they were able to attack. Uraume could use cursed energy and only a fool would dare to attack Sukuna himself, leaving Y/N the only one to defenseless enough to try to kill.
One man was even brazen enough to try and kidnap her— which resulted in his head being speared outside the village as an unspoken threat.
"So, peach picking?" Uraume prompts, drawing Y/N out of her musings.
"Oh, right! There's this really pretty peach farm an elderly man had last time I visited the village. He even gave me some!" Y/N rants excitedly. "He said I could come back any time and have some more since he doesn't have anyone else to give them to!"
"Hm." Uraume closes their eyes in thought, pausing for a moment before their dark pink eyes peer open again. "Alright, I will accompany you."
"Great! Thank you, Uraume-san!" Y/N squeals, tackling the monk in a hug, holding on for another second or two before pulling away to meet them face-to-face.
Uraume's eyes were blown wide, a faint pink dusting their pale cheeks that matched their eyes. Their lips were parted in shock— as if they went to say something but couldn't muster the words.
"You're the best!" Y/N praises, kissing their cheek before letting go, turning and rushing down the hall.
Uraume breathes in, raising a hand to their cheek as they blink incredulously— unsure of what the warm feeling bubbling in their chest is.

heian era sukuna x reader →
(a/n: loosely inspired by that one jessica rabbit scene; this is also borderline uraume/reader bc theyre so cute ugh)
Tumblr media
people don’t understand how you can love the king of curses. his figure was grotesque—beyond repulsive—with four heavy hands that could snap your limbs into two if he so pleased. they can’t get past the four eyes either, but you found them charming. how could you not when he looked at you so sweetly?
“where is my husband?” you inquire for the nth time, your voice as sweet as molasses as you tug at the ends of uraume’s sleeves. the humble servant doesn’t answer immediately; they know not to, and you don’t mind. while you wait, you watch the passerines tease the fish in the pond from your spot on the engawa.
uraume dips their elegant fude into the shallow inkstone beside you. calligraphy and whatnot. “lord sukuna is tending to matters in the southern provinces,” they answer with the same amount of patience they had a few minutes ago, and an hour before, and another before that. they must be used to it now.
“do you think he misses me?” comes a light brush against their pale hand. uraume exhales through their nose at your question, but not from exasperation. never that. “yes,” they say with utmost sincerity, like it’s gospel truth, before painting one long, flourishing stroke. “very much so.”
content, you cease your ministrations and fall on your back, giggling at the way your hair splays beneath your head. “he loves me,” you coo and cup your sun-kissed cheeks. “my husband loves me, and i love him too.” you think the edge of their lips twitch up into the barest hint of a smile.
but it vanishes before you can get a proper glimpse. sighing, uraume gives you a knowing look from the corner of their eye as they dip their fude back into the inkstone. you turn to lay on your side and watch how it absorbs the ink. “the servants, though adequate, have been quite bothersome lately.”
they finish the kanji in several swift strokes. 麗. rei for beauty. uraume continues. “there’s ill speak of your relationship with lord sukuna.” you count the passerines, letting the unspoken question hang in the air. shall i do something about it? it’s uraume’s turn to wait patiently for an answer, an ultimatum.
but you don’t give one so easily, preoccupied with an image that resurfaces in your mind: a group of servants—fresh off the cut and eager-eyed—gossiping by the water well. you don’t think they saw you, unless they were stupider than you thought, but they were loud enough to hear.
uraume is watching you, properly now, as you blow a stray strand of hair from your face. when they lean in to gently tuck it behind your ear, persimmons and plums permeate your senses. “do not bother with them. they talk because they do not understand why i love him,” you decide with finality.
“and why do you love him?” there’s a hint of fondness in their voice, reserved for you.
you look up through your delicate lashes, smiling cheekily. “he makes me laugh.”

𝙁𝙀𝙈 𝘿𝙉𝙄 & 𝙈𝘿𝙉𝙄 | 𝘽𝙀 𝘾𝘼𝙍𝙀𝙁𝙐𝙇 18+ 𝙐𝙉𝘿𝙀𝙍 𝘾𝙐𝙏
Tumblr media
Itadori Yuji | 虎杖悠仁
「 SFW 」 PRE SHIBUYA ARC | Yuji would undoubtedly rank among the epitomes of an ideal boyfriend. Cute, cheerful and optimistic—a perfect boyfriend. With his extroverted nature, you will have to deal with his bursts of energy as well as times when he will be particularly affectionate. Picture him as the embodiment of a loyal golden retriever—a true 'puppy boyfriend' in every sense. While Yuji's extroverted tendencies may manifest in bursts of lively enthusiasm, he also possesses moments of profound tenderness, enveloping his partner in warmth and affection. He gracefully inspires his partner to emerge from their cocoon, gently coaxing them towards a world of shared joy and adventures.
POST SHIBUYA ARC | Yuji carries the weight of profound loss, having witnessed the death of numerous friends. Scarred by these harrowing experiences, his instinctive reaction is to protect those he cares about. Consequently, he may inadvertently resort to pushing away those closest to him—a misguided attempt rooted in love and a genuine desire to protect. So you would need some time to reasure him that you aren't leaving any time soon…
Maki Zen'in | 禪院真希
「 SFW 」 PRE SHIBUYA ARC | Maki personifies resilience, bearing the burden of her own burdens and shouldering everything with unwavering strength. Yet beneath her reserved façade lies a heart that beats with deep care, though she may be hesitant to admit it openly. For your sake, Maki tries to break down the barriers she has carefully erected, which is a testament to the depth of her affection. Gently showing vulnerability. Every crack in her steely resolve serves as a testament to the strength of her affection, a silent plea for understanding and from you acceptance.
DURING CULLING GAME ARC | Maki finds herself haunted by the tragic loss of her twin sister, a wound that cuts deep into her heart and soul. Determined to shield herself from further heartache, Maki naturally avoids getting too close to people emotionally. She puts up strong walls around herself, using them like a shield to stop herself from the sorrowful of potential loss. She is trying to push you away, fearing that the death may once again claim the person she holds most dear.
Ryomen Sukuna | 両面宿儺
「 SFW 」 PRE CULLING GAME ARC | Beware of the King of Curses, because kindness is generally rare in his heart. Sukuna, with his menacing appearance and chilling aura, is not one to easily succumb to the tender embrace of romance. In his world, love is a foreign concept, a concept he has never shared or felt the need to develop. If Sukuna feels attracted to you in a way that is beyond his understanding, don't expect his true emotions to be revealed quickly. Love, with all its complexities and vulnerabilities, is uncharted territory for him. He is a mystery, shrouded in frost, his heart covered in layers of impenetrable ice. Patience becomes your greatest ally in unraveling the enigma that is Sukuna. With each step forward, you tread cautiously, mindful of the thorns that line the path to his heart.
DURING CULLING GAME ARC | Even if Sukuna is wary of his newfound emotions, don't expect him to give you special treatment just because you've captured his interest. Sukuna is not sentimental and does not provide frivolous favors. He demands proof of your worth, demanding that you demonstrate your character and earn his respect through your actions. His admiration is a hard-won treasure bestowed upon those who prove themselves capable of navigating the treacherous.
「 NSFW 」 THE HEIAN ERA | Sukuna is definitely not an easy lover. He will squeeze the maximum out of you. Using your body, sometimes even without your consent, because in his understanding, at the moment when you gave him your heart, you also gave him your whole body, letting him do any indecency. He is not a pervert and prefer to do things the old and simple way. Although sometimes he asks Uraume to stretch you, since Sukuna’s cocks are also bigger than usual, so careful preparation is required so that you are not simply torn in a halves. There is hardly any tenderness in this process. Most often, this is just an impulse in which he can fulfill exclusively his desires, literally grinding into you until he himself is satisfied. So expect long nights since he got stamina and a lot of stress to take out (on you).
(yes, I'm a believer that Sukuna got two dicks, don't blame me for that.)
Toji Fushiguro | 伏黒甚爾
「 SFW 」 DURING HIDDEN INVENTORY ARC | Toji is plagued by deep-seated commitment issues, a restless wanderer who flits from one fleeting romance to another with reckless abandon. His primary focus lies in material gain, money, with little regard for the emotional entanglements that accompany lasting relationships. For him, love is but a passing fancy. However, amidst his nomadic lifestyle, there exists a rare exception—a woman (Megumi's mother) who once managed to capture his fleeting attention. Though elusive, the memory of her lingers in the recesses of his mind, a testament to the possibility of a deeper connection.
DURING HIDDEN INVENTORY ARC | It's going to take a lot of time and thinking for him to figure out his feelings and realize that he wants things that aren't just about money or quick fun. He needs to face his fears and doubts, and think about the idea that maybe, just maybe, life is about more than just work as a mercenary or have fun for a short time.
「 NSFW 」 DURING HIDDEN INVENTORY ARC | Toji is a selfish lover, always putting his own desires first when it comes to being close with someone. He's used to getting what he wants whenever he wants it, and he doesn't feel bad about going after what feels good. His needs come first because he's spent his life focused on pleasing himself and getting things right away. Underneath that self-centered exterior, there's a lot going on. Even though he's all about his own pleasure, he's got a way of being gentle yet strong when he's with someone intimately. His touch leaves a lasting impression on the person he's with. He can gently stroke your hair while your lips are at the base of his dick. If you have difficulty breathing, maybe stop and not fist your hair in his hand, using your throat for his pleasure, while you drolling all over his cock…
Uraume | 裏梅
「 SFW 」 PRE CULLING GAME ARC | Uraume is an embodiment of unwavering loyalty, their existence intricately intertwined with the service and devotion to their master, a bond forged over countless centuries. For them, love was a foreign concept, relegated to the annals of distant memory as they dutifully fulfilled their role. When feelings of attraction begin to stir within Uraume, they find themselves grappling with emotions long dormant, their heart encased in the frost of ages past. The idea of love is a foreign and unfamiliar terrain.
DURING CULLING GAME ARC | As Uraume's feelings blossom into an undeniable force, they find themselves faced with a daunting decision—to confront their master and seek permission to pursue the depths of their newfound love. This is no small feat, for their allegiance to their master is unwavering, and the prospect of disobeying even a perceived slight is unthinkable. In their plea, Uraume makes it clear that they hold their master's wishes above all else, and they would never dare to act in defiance of their authority. Yet, they cannot deny the overwhelming pull of their emotions, and they humbly request the opportunity to pursue love while remaining ever faithful to their master's will.
「 NSFW 」 DURING CULLING GAME ARC | Urauma's devotion does not end with their master's permission to love. They would definitely ask permission to have a more personal relationship with you. Also, if the King of Curses told Urauma to give your body to him for pleasure, Urauma would take it as an incredible compliment since even their master liked your body. But besides this, Uraume isn't so cold in terms of sex life; they pay more attention to your pleasure than to their own. Usually your sexual contact involves mutual masturbation, for Uraume this is quite personal. Since for them, their body is like a temple and letting another person in is quite difficult for them.. Their movements are careful but quite demanding, not devoid of feelings.

・・❥・---------------------------------------------------------------・・❥・
Sukuna remembers you vividly from the past; from that time 1000 years ago. How could he forget? Such a flamboyant character, – power exuded with every step, the earth seeming to shake with every fall of your foot. A wandering swordsman: a rather powerful sorcerer who curiously didn’t belong to any one clan. You’d spend your days traversing the earth, sleeping in the empty shrines near villages, taking commissions and odd jobs from just about everyone– human or not.
Sukuna found it odd how you didn’t align yourself with the standard belief of sorcerers: you were benevolent to cursed spirits like him, you didn’t have the sudden impulse to exorcize, to destroy. Perhaps it was your lack of loyalty to a clan, or the fact that curses could offer prices just as good– if not better, than humans. Either way, it was quite interesting when you crossed paths for the first time; him, the terrifying, all powerful King of Curses, – four arms and two grotesque faces, towering over you, a humble traveler, – and you just stood there, – smiling, at him, – the rumored monster of Ryomen Sukuna.
He was absolutely astounded, – had this guy not an ounce of fear? The singlest shred of self-preservation? You should be screaming– running, – begging at his feet for mercy, – not making small talk
“Nice weather, huh?”
“Excuse me? It’s pouring”
“Oh, I hadn’t noticed 😋”
He could sense a staggering amount of cursed energy from you, much more than the average sorcerer– let alone human.
“Nice jugs btw”
“???”
Bud was flabbergasted – he could only watch you walk away with a big grin on your face. Later that evening he had to bring it up to Uruame, who was cooking up the latest harvest of human bones:
“He said you had a nice chest.”
“Huh, usually one would think to say that to a woman–”
“Perhaps the sorcerer thought you were a woman”
“What.”
Ever since he’s had an affinity for you, a fascination… an obsession. He needed to know everything about you, – your goal, your motives, your desires, your deepest and darkest of fears, – the most depraved of thoughts of this strange sorcerer who had the gaul to compliment his chest like he was some kind of street whore.
He ran into you the next day at the same village, just as you were about to leave. You acted so nonchalant, like he was just another acquaintance, it was truly fascinating and… dare Sukuna say, endearing. He initially went there to kill you for your audacity from yesterday, yet he ended up only shit-talking the village folk wit you, – the old swordsmith who swore there were devils living in his chimney, - the old woman by the creek who was rumored to drown passerbys in the water next to her tiny abode, - the sleezy thug of a priest who thought it was funny to scam you for cleaning his shrine free of charge (whom Sukuna ended up gutting shortly afterwards). The curse was left to, yet again, return back to Uruame with new rantings of you
(just let them cook in peace 😭)
The next day, a band of those pesky Zenin showed up, – and Sukuna thought the opps were on him again. Turns out, not only were you not apart of any specific clan, but you were also quite unpopular with a majority of sorcerer society. After finding out, Sukuna couldn’t help but rush to your aid, determined to cleave the gang of sorcerers in half for trying to harm such an interesting specimen of his. Imagine his utmost surprise to find them not only beat upon his arrival, but diced up and dead on the forest floor, too.
He was beyond impressed: a seeming clanless nobody such as yourself had chopped down about a dozen of one of the most powerful sorcerers of the time. You saw him staring from afar, waving and flashing that stupidly charming smile of yours. Sukuna couldn’t help but invite you back with him, the dozen dead bodies in tow
Uruame cooked up a mighty fine dinner that night, one the three of you enjoyed together (yum, human flesh). From that day on you were part of the gang: you, Sukuna, and Uruame. Most days you would be off for up to months at a time, simply doing your own thing, going town to town. Whenever you’d run into your good pal as he was burning down the latest village you’d make sure to have a nice catch up over a warm meal (cooked by Uruame)
You and Uruame got along, – they liked the fact that you could often cook together, Sukuna– being useless as shit in the kitchen – was barred from helping lest he incinerate everything
But alas, you were mortal, fickle; temporary, – and no sooner did you come into his existence were you cruelly ripped from him, – finally effectively jumped and killed.
Sukuna almost couldn’t believe it: you never lost- you weren’t supposed to lose, but you did. You fought valiantly, taking an impressive number down with you. In the skirmish, Uruame disappeared, Sukuna was reduced almost to dust,-- miraculously he survived, albeit incredibly weak. They sealed a majority of his power away in his severed fingers.
Now, weakened immeasurably and down a pair of arms, – momentarily without his chef and darling sorcerer, Sukuna had a change in heart
No longer did he want to be the bad guy, he wanted to be good, to help others, – to help the future of jujutsu sorcery (nah, that’s some bullshit, he just wanted to continue being fed, and he could only be if he became a teacher in sorcery, lol)
—----
Flash forward to modern day…
—---
Seeing you once again, reborn, was a complete whiplash for Sukuna.
You recognized him immediately, obviously, – he was your man after all <3 (even if he denied it)
Poor baby had to physically restrain himself when he saw you back to kicking ass as a modern day jujutsu sorcerer, having not changed an ounce since he last remembered you
You miss his four arms, – almost more than Sukuna did. It disappointed Sukuna to see you disappointed with his lack of arm power. Still, he only needed two arms to absolutely destroy you--
After the incident with Yuji Itadori accidentally consuming one of his fingers (which made Sukuna livid– blud has been sweating and grinding to get those fingers back, and to find out some random goofy ahh kid decided to munch on one? And they wanna give him MORE??) – Sukuna has been absorbed more than ever into his work.
You adore his students, – especially Megumi, Nobara and Yuji – (much to Sukuna’s dismay) and oftentimes will stop by his lessons just to bug him in front of them
You were still the same insufferable charmer as before, shamelessly batting your eyes and making crude comments to catch him off guard:
“Hey cutie ;) “
“Hell do you want” he sneers, “wish to be my example for today’s lesson?”
“Nah, just passing by, – those pants make your ass look fat by the way”
“What.”
“Toodles !!”
It infuriated him, much to your delight
It was different now, back then it was just you and him, Uruame bearing the only witness to your shenanigans. But when you say those things in front of those brats, – the same brats who were taught to fear and despise his kind, who were suppose to be intimidated by him, – it makes his job of maintaining the tough, snide “King of Curses” just that much harder
Yuji, with all the time he spent with Sukuna as his main mentor, would ask about you frequently: what you were like 1,000 years ago. Whether it was the nostalgia or purely the fact it was you, – talking about it always softened Sukuna’s grueling and harsh belittling. Poor Yuji could only catch a break when Sukuna started saying “Back in my day..”
“Sukuna-sensei?”
“What, brat?” Sukuna paused, casting an unimpressed glare over his shoulder
Yuji propped his head onto a fist, leaning on the desk in front of him. The empty classroom was dimming with the setting sun, the vibrant colors that always made Sukuna wanna barf invaded through the windows from the sunset, painting the empty classroom a colorful ombre,
“You said that odd man who likes to hang around you was around 1,000 years ago, right?”
Sukuna’s eyebrows scrunch in annoyance, “Yes, and?”
“What was he like? Does he act the same as all those years ago? How’d he get reborn? What was your relationship like?” The curse wanted to punt the kid across the room with all his silly questions. Instead, – knowing you’d dislike it if he hurt Yuji, – he opted to take a deep breath, air hissing through his teeth, before answering,
“Mm, you brats are so invasive, – the world doesn’t revolve around you selfish vermin.” sighing, “but fine, I’ll entertain whatever silly fantasy you have about me in your head; he was a sorcerer, a pretty damn strong one, too”
“But you didn’t kill him-” Yuji interjects, confused
“No, I didn’t”
“Why, were you two good friends.?”
He growled at the quantity of the questions, causing Yuji to scoot back in his seat slightly,
“No– well, sort of. I’d assume you could say that.”
“No-? Really? Kugisaki thinks you two are dating”
Sukuna’s jaw almost drops to the floor,
“What.”
“Yeah, – Fushiguro says you two were together back then too, with the way you look at each other”
With the way he-?
“Was he your like… private prostitute or something?”
Sukuna has never heard such fuckery before:
“No. – I’d suggest you’d stop wherever you think you’re going with this, brat.”
“Did you bang though?”
That threw him for a loop, and Sukuna couldn’t help but wince at the term. “Banging” was a poor choice of words, – such a word couldn’t possibly do what you two did justice.
No, you didn’t “bang”
Sukuna couldn’t help but be drawn in by you, – your attitude, your carefree-ness, your power, he wanted it all for himself, – which he sometimes did
Those endless nights of pleasure where’d he just lose himself in you, - your affectionate caresses, your sweet nothings whispered into his ear that cast shivers all throughout. Sukuna was used to hearing praise showered upon his name, – his devotees throwing themselves at his feet to worship the ground he walked on. But he didn’t care for their praise, – not like he did yours. Your kind words were treasured, craved. If only you had been a woman: he would’ve made you a concubine, – no, – his wife.
—---
His ego is fragile, witnessing you tearing apart his terrifying image horrifies him.
Unfortunately for Sukuna, you couldn’t stop dotting on your pretty princess :3 It all came to a boiling point when you saw one of his colleagues start to cuddle up just the littlest bit too close: and he just let them. Seeing Mei Mei acting so clingy with the King made something in the pit of your stomach drop. Your envy boiled, sour and ripening into an ugly weed. It was obvious she held no actual affections (because one, – Mei Mei only lives for cold, hard cash, – which Sukuna didn’t really have on him, which was odd— and two, he was way too old for her tastes)
You just couldn’t help yourself, – he was wearing such a tight shirt, it hid nothing.
“Yo, nice tits”
He was done. You were done sullying his name with your filthy words, – you were done humiliating him. And he made sure you knew that too
He had pulled you into his empty classroom, all the students and staff long gone. Sukuna towered over you, cold glare sending a delicious shivering cascading through your body,
“Enough.”
“Eh..?” you wince, your voice sounded all wrong, too high pitch and breathy, “enough of what?”
Your damn smile again.
“You know exactly what I’m talking about. Your humiliation is not appreciated.”
You scoff, “humiliation?”
He glares, “silence, brat” he firmly grabs ahold of your chin, forcing it upwards, making you look him directly in those creepy, maroon eyes.
One moment Sukuna has his emotions underwraps: he’s focused, – locked in, – he’s not going to let something as fickle as human ‘love’ hinder his plans. The more assertive the better, he would not be walked on – but he also didn’t want to accidentally lash out and do something he ends up regretting
The next thing he knows, Sukuna starts spiraling,
“You insist on following me, stalking me for over 1,000 years, – it’s pathetic” wait- what? No, he didn’t mean it like that
“--you mortal brats are as measly as ever, it’s no wonder you died to your own kind” pause, no, no, no, no, no….-- what was he doing? He didn’t actually mean that-
“--killed by fellow sorcerers: pathetic. Dead and reborn, you’re still the desperate mutt crawling back to me..” Stop. Make it stop. Someone stop him. Stop/
“Uruame should be back here instead, seeing you is the biggest disappointment in this millennium”
Oh..
“... fine then.” Your voice is quiet, small. Don’t look at him like that.
Sukuna’s eyes widened, but he couldn't seem to say anything, his tongue glued to the roof of his mouth. Instant dread pools into his stomach
“I see how it is. If that’s truly how you feel…”
“Wait no–” Sukuna starts, immediately tensing up as you lower your eyes onto his. He swallows, hard. He hated the dejected, – the defeated look on your face. You looked so sad, and Sukuna couldn’t bear to see you sad , – something that terrified him to no end, — you terrify him to no end. You elicit the most exotic of feelings within him, reviving his ancient, rotten, worm eaten heart to a thunderous boom. Sukuna is reminded of the times back then: you laying in the field, hand twining in his hair, lightly scraping his scalp, – him sighing in content like an old dog. There would be the half eaten corpse of some unfortunate sorcerer off to the side, and you’d occasionally hand feed one or two limbs to the second mouth on his stomach, tongue out and awaiting like a dog’s for a treat  —Such tender moments, the power you have over him makes him feel weak in the knees. Every instinct within him told Sukuna to run, - to protect himself from this threat that was your adoration. The thrill gnawed at him from the inside, – but oh, the ecstasy from it felt so good.
But he was Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses – he couldn’t face having such an open weakness – taking on a lover would feel like he had gutted himself, taking away a fundamental aspect of his existence as a character. You just have to keep stoking the flames. ,
… “nevermind, just go. I could care less”
You do, closing the classroom door behind you, and Sukuna can’t help but feel as if half of his soul leaves with you. This happened every time: he’d push you away, only to immediately regret it, craving deeply for your validation.
Shit, seems like he really did have a lot to learn when it came to such fickle human emotions.
He’d make it up to you, – he always did.
—-------
You were the only one to bring him to his knees, the only deity the King would bring himself to worship , – and what a divine thing you were.
Those nights of infinite passion, – you underneath him, (and occasionally him under you–)  he’d take you with the utmost care. Ryomen Sukuna has never been “gentle” with something, – let alone with another living individual, – but with you his touches were always so attentive, so skillful and purposeful. He never wanted to hear you scream in anything but pure pleasure.
On the most precious of those nights, you’d coax the sweetest of noises from his lips. You could’ve sworn he has whimpered, despite his firm denial.
You were his God.

Will Always Find You
MafiaBoss Sukuna x WifeReader
Your thoughtfulness turned into carelessness and now you've found yourself in a predicament. How are you going to get out of this?
Content: Violence. Mafia Au. Noncurse Au. Sukuna being husband material. Reader trying to be a sweet girl.
Masterlist
Sticky: This may turn into a prequel series, idk yet.
STICKY UPDATE: I, infact, did start a series. Here, thank me later MWAH.
It hurt, everything hurt. Your shoulders were screaming in pain from the strain of having your arms tied behind your back for so long. You had no clue how long you had been there, all you knew was that anytime the door opened from the basement you were being kept it, it was to expect pain. It was the Zenin’s who took you, obviously. Naoya made sure you knew that every time anyone ‘graced’ your presence. The presence of the rival mafia’s wife, Y/N Sukuna.
It was your fault that you were caught like this, trying to surprise Urame for their birthday. They were your personal bodyguard, and you knew you wouldn’t be able to surprise them if you didn’t sneak out alone. Stupid. You had to figure out a way to get out of here, you knew Ryomen had to be looking for you but how would he find you? Fuck. What were you going to do? You were already weak from the beatings, you had already lost a lot of blood, and surprisingly they tied these knots securely. Once you were taken, they stripped you of all your weapons, even the hidden knives you had. Luckily, they left you with your clothes and jewelry, nothing you could use to assist in your escape. Your head was splitting from the pain and the attempts to plan when everything was interrupted by the bright light from the door upstairs.
“I’m not telling you shit, if this is your idea of torture it’s pathetic!” You yell towards the top of the stairs, trying to make your voice sound as strong as possible despite the pain with each word coming out. As soon as you started speaking the figure at the top of the stairs came rushing down. Everything in your body freezes, the usual lackeys would take their time, but this was different, something was different. You train your eyes trying to adjust to the light to see who was coming down the stairs. The first sight that your eye catches almost makes you burst into tears, pink hair.
“Y/N” Sukuna’s voice breaks as he sees your state. You give him the best smile you could manage. Rushing over to you, he unties you from the chair and brings you into his arms, squeezing you as if you would disappear at any moment as if he thought he wouldn’t have found you. He could feel your tears starting to soak into his shirt as you sob into him, finally letting go of all the feelings you had been holding onto. Gently pulling you make, he holds your face delicately in his hands, inspecting all your injuries.
“Ryo, you found me.” You say between sniffles, eyes slowly blinking.
“I will always find you, my love.” He says and with that, everything turns black.
The smell of antiseptic floods your senses before you even open your eyes. You could tell you were in a hospital just from that. Slowly and painfully, you open your eyes to see that you are in a hospital, most likely the family hospital. The last thing you remember is Ryomen holding your body and you pass out. You tried to move but the pain immediately shot through your body making you yelp. Sukuna, who had been sleeping in a chair at the side of your bed, jumps up at the sound of your yelp. His eyes are panicked and wild.
“Hey, handsome.” You say softly, trying to reach out to touch him but it was too painful. He grabs your hand and brings it to his face for you. Once you both realize that despite the pain you are okay, his face shifts. He looks mad, pissed even.
“I’m sorry.” You stroke the side of his face with your thumb. He stays silent, glaring at you, squeezing your hand to almost a painful point but not painful yet. You take his silence as a time to explain yourself, “I am sorry, I know I shouldn’t have gone out unguarded, but I wanted to get Urame a present for their birthday. It wouldn’t have been a secret if someone went with me. And if I asked someone else to guard me it would have been suspicious. You were busy, Yuji was gone for the day. I didn’t think one time out by myself would lead to this. I should have been more careful; I should have been more aware. I let my guard down. I’m sorry Ryo, I really am.”
He's silent for another moment, eyes still piercing, but then they slowly soften as they gaze upon you. A breath that he didn’t even realize he had been holding for so long finally escapes him and a look that you never thought you would see on his face appears. He looks like he’s about to…. Cry?
“I thought,” He started taking your hand from his face and engulfing it with both of his hands. “I thought I lost you; I thought I lost my wife.” He takes a deep breath before he continues, “I would burn this world down for you without a second thought and you need to realize that, there is no King without his Queen. You almost died! You were stupid and reckless all over a birthday gift! There are ways to be discreet and you know that without putting yourself in danger! They were planning on killing you!”
Your gaze never leaves him, “I’m sorry Ryo, my husband, my love. Never again. I promise.”
His nostrils flare while he lets out an aggressive breath, “There will not be an again because you will never be leaving anywhere with out me, Yuji, or Urame. Ever”
“Anything you say Ryo.”
“Of course, I am the King after all.”
You let out a soft giggle which makes you cough a little, your throat was dry. He quickly hands you the water that was on the table next to your bed.
“How did you find me?” You ask, after soothing your throat.
“I will always find you,” he says as his hands go to around your neck, taking off the locket he gave you when he asked you to marry him. When he opens it, it shows the pictures you already knew were in there; One of you and him on your first date and one of you and Yuji on his graduation. He pops out the picture of Yuji with his pocketknife to reveal a small device behind it. A tracker. A TRACKER!! Your jaw drops when you see it.
“Ryomen Sukuna, you put a tracker on me!” you yell, finding all the strength in your body to hit him, he just clicks his teeth while fixing your necklace.
“Of course, you are reckless.  I need to always know where you are, I told you when I gave it to you that I will always be with you. “He states casually, putting it back onto you. You wanted to continue to be mad, but he was right. He was the boss of a huge mafia family, and you had a tendency to forget that he needed extra insurance for your safety. You lay back down, feeling suddenly exhausted.
“I am your husband; it is my job to protect you and keep you safe.” He says as he goes to kiss your forehead, “Now rest.”
Your eyes had already shut when you laid back down. Sukuna looked at you as you slept, a tear finally escaping his eye that he wouldn’t let anyone see. If anything happened to you, he wouldn’t know how to live anymore. If there was no you, there would be no him.

𐚁֙࿐ LOVER GIRL
uraume x fem!reader
Tumblr media
Tags — fluff , king (queen) of curses reader , simp reader , established uraume/reader
Notes — this takes place during that one scene is s2e22! also, i use they/them pronouns for uraume!
Tumblr media
"Yuu-chan, look! Look! Look!" Y/N orders her vessel abruptly, leaning forward on her throne so hastily she's almost sent tumbling down the pile of skulls; E/C eyes lit up with sparkling excitement.
"Huh?" Itadori pauses, surprised to hear the queen of curses suddenly speaking to him— her having been completely radio silent since she gave Itadori back control earlier.
Y/N blinks open the second set on eyes on Itadori's face— still looking through the main golden set to watch their lover with rapt attention.
Their brief meeting earlier in the ruins of what used to be Shibuya unfortunately had to be short, but Y/N hadn't expected the monk to show up again so soon.
"Yuu-chan! Look at my lover! Aren't they just the coolest?!" Y/N admires, resulting into a sputtering cough from their vessel— eyes blown wide in shock at the queen of curses admission.
"Itadori?" That kid from the Kamo clan (Y/N truly didn't bother to attempt to remember his name), who was standing next to the vessel, questions; unsure of what caused Itadori's sudden look of shock.
"Sorry, uh..." Itadori trails off, opting instead to speak through his head towards the curse rather than flail about trying to come up with an excuse.
'You had a lover?' Itadori questions, the disbelief in his tone making Y/N frown.
'Haah? Why do you seem so surprised?!' Y/N huffs, leaning back against her throne with her eye twitching in annoyance. 'And I have a lover! They aren't dead!'
'Why would anyone want to be with—' Itadori starts to reply but gets cut off.
'Finish that sentence, brat. I dare you.' Y/N scoffs, still looking through Itadori's eyes at their lover as they and that curse with the blood technique fight.
'Anyway! Isn't my lover just the strongest?! Heh~ just look at them!' Y/N laughs to herself, a blush spread across her face. 'They're so pretty!'
Itadori's lips part slightly in sheer disbelief at hearing the lovesick tone dripping off Y/N's voice— sounding completely besotted with the white-haired monk.
'Maybe I should've gotten a ring for them while I was free... Yuu-chan! Gimme control! I need to get something nice for my love!' Y/N demands, mentally hitting herself over the head for not getting anything for Uraume earlier.
'Now is really not the time!' Itadori counters, still in shock about how infatuated Y/N sounds.
'Hmph! Whatever, you're no fun!' Y/N complains, sinking back onto her throne with a childish huff.
Itadori goes to say something— likely a snarky comment, knowing how the brat is —but Y/N cuts their connection off with no more than a lazy wave of her hand.
Maybe once I wring control over this brat's body, then Uraume and I can go on a date~ Like Yuu-chan did that one time! Y/N fantasies, smiling to herself giddily at the idea. Then we can—
Ah. Wait. A frown tug's on Y/N's lips, remembering the demolished state of Shibuya. Fuck.
Maybe she shouldn't have leveled an entire prefecture...

heian era sukuna
(a/n: takes place in the same universe as this post; yet another thinly veiled uraume/reader imagine)
Tumblr media
on the first day of spring—your favorite of all seasons—you awake to a pleasant surprise in the horigotatsu of your room: a big basket of flowers, all fresh and neatly trimmed. you struggle to swallow the squeal that’s bubbling in your throat.
when uraume comes to style your hair (a morning habit of theirs), they find you cradling it close to your chest as you would a baby. “come and look at what my husband left me,” you say, beckoning them over with a flick of your wrist. they settle their boxwood comb on the edge of your vanity and approach to take hold of your basket.
they squint, turning it this way and that (for a little longer than necessary, just to humor you), before nodding firmly in approval. “the flowers are beautiful this year,” they say. “as expected of lord sukuna.” your face beams with delight, like a rose in full bloom, as you stroke each petal with delicate fingers.
with infectious charm, you swoon, “he gives me the prettiest flowers!” in between your sweet babbles, uraume ushers you to sit near the vanity so they can detangle any knots that accumulated overnight. as they brush through your hair, they remain silent, but you know that these things will eventually reach your husband.
for now, though, they focus on the task at hand. you like it when uraume fixes your hair. there’s a kindness in their movements that’s nearly unbefitting of their disposition, warm enough to melt any leftover frost. it almost reminds you of spring. perhaps the resemblance is why he orders them to keep you company.
with cherry dusted cheeks, you look down at the arrangement in your arms. there’s simply no other answer. no room for doubt in your husband’s impeccable judgment. for a creature living by a standard so unattainable to any man, there’s something so achingly mortal in the way that love oozes from every crack in his soul.
uraume is like the flowers that he leaves on the first day of spring, except they last for eternity.

Another multi x reader will be published tomorrow!! (Hopefully) so have this nastiness
Cockwarming heian era sukuna. Sitting on your knees in front of his throne, bare with your arms behind your back, your tongue out while he slaps his tip onto it. Pushing your head down and watching your plush lips stretch out to take his size,, keeping you still with his strong and big hand while he smirks down at you
When you whine from how sore your jaw is, he thrusts up into the back of your throat until you gag around his cock.
Hes not above letting others see you like this, too, he's more than happy ordering around his servants while you're drooling around him, bobbing your head back and forth while you can hear quick footsteps rush out the door to his chamber. "They were looking right at you, bet they want your mouth too. Wanna fuck this tight throat over n' over again. You want that, huh?"
You'd shake your head around his base, careful of your teeth grazing over the delicate veins of his girth while he laughs. "You just want my dick, don't you?" He prompts, pulling your head back enough for you to look up at him and nod eagerly. With a quick pop, his tip rested an inch away from your plush, swollen lips, a bead of pre cum forming at the tip. "Yes, my lord, I only want you, no one else."
Sukuna would smile and shove himself back into your awaiting mouth, because who said you could speak just yet?
Mm,,, maybe uraume comes in to hand him his meal, and he catches them staring at you two a little too much. "Leave the plate there, come here." And they'd hurriedly walk over to him, kneeling at his foot and trying to ignore the wet sounds of your throat as you swallowed the mix of saliva and precum swirling together in your mouth
"You getting tired, girl?" He'd ask, laughing under his breath at the weary nod you gave up at him. "Get up on my lap, then. Uraume, take care of this, quick." He'd motion to his bottom cock, all but neglected from your mouth as he seats you against the cock soaked with your drool, your back facing his chest so you get a perfect view of Uraume wasting no time with fitting his girthy cock into their mouth, feeling his top one poke against your hole, twitching up against it

FLOWER GARDEN
Tumblr media
pairing : Sukuna x Reader
note : This takes place in the heian era!
proofread? : maybe
Tumblr media
It was a perfectly normal day, you were taking care of your very cherished garden whilst humming peacefully. Hovering your delicate hand over the bundle of alluring flowers that had bloomed today, you then looked up at the sky. It was around evening or so, the red and orange covered the horizon to create a charming sight.
Some time had passed, the sky was getting darker but you did not feel like going inside just yet. The smell of wet soil from the rain earlier was lingering in your nostrils triggering an oddly peaceful feeling, accompanied by the slow chirps of birds, making you feel like you could fall asleep there. You did not expect any commotions to bother you but something felt quite odd, like somebody was watching you from afar.
You lifted your head to the slightest only to be met with the menacing sight of an obnoxiously tall humanoid creature watching you from a nearby hill, but before you could move even a single muscle, he was now in front of you and behind your sweet garden.
“I wasn’t expecting to find a beauty like you tonight.”
You were too stunned to process anything, how did he move so quickly? Why is he so tall? All these questions just came flooding to your mind. But once you took a good look at him, he wasn’t quite monstrous after all. The ‘creature’ had four arms, one pair folded together and the other resting on his torso, and he didn’t really bother to wear a shirt out in public. You hadn’t even noticed the mouth on his abdomen yet.
The man brought you back to reality by snapping two fingers in front of your face, you quickly jolted upwards and looked at his face. He had four eyes, but a part of his face was covered by some sort of wooden mask that had openings for his two distorted eyes. Despite that, your subconscious mind found this strange man quite good-looking. His gaze was absolutely menacing, you felt like you could crumble any second, but it softened once he looked at your lips.
“W..Who are you?” Your soft voice reached his ears, expressions relaxing the tiniest bit. He let out a dark chuckle, and seated himself beside you. You glanced upon him once again, observing his now relaxing features more closely. He met your gaze unexpectedly whilst the corners of his mouth stretched to form a smirk.
“I could just kill you right now if I wanted to, you know that?” He chimed in nonchalantly, and if you weren’t scared before you definitely were now. He did look like he could kill someone with a swing of a finger, but why was he interacting with you like you were some good friends? This strange behavior just messes with your mind even more, if he can just kill you, why won’t he do it?
“Why won’t you kill me?” You asked, your voice laced with fear and a slight hint of curiosity. The pink haired man smiled again and looked in front, more specifically, at your garden. He blinked a few times before glancing back upon you, taking in your figure before standing up and walking towards your most prized possession. You were just begging the gods to not let him destroy your years of work.
The man crouched down before it, taking a good look at the delicate flowers before his hand slowly reached one of the flowers which had bloomed today. You could hear yourself screaming in your mind and telling him to not pluck it, unfortunately, he could not hear your inside voice.
“Wait, don’t!”
You were too late. The flower which was slowly withering nestled itself in his large hands as you felt your whole body stinging. He looked at you with a smug grin, he could practically feel how angry you were with him right now, and it anticipated him. A beautiful woman with a pout on her face right in front of him, he’d never admit how adorable you looked right now.
“Come with me, I have a better garden at my place.”
And with that, he swiftly grabbed your wrist and started dragging you out of your garden. The few people in the village who managed to be outside of their houses at this time of the day were left shocked with the sight of you and a monstrous being leaving the village in a hurry. You wouldn’t deny the fact that blood rushed to your cheeks when he grabbed your wrist suddenly. You knew this wasn’t going to end well, but the excitement in you obliged.
“The name’s Ryomen Sukuna, by the way.”

What about sukuna trying to make reader jealous but readers not fucking with it and gets mad instead or something🤔
Jealous? My facecard dont decline!
Heres something for  Heian era because i wasnt sure what time period you wanted but if you submit this request again I’m more than happy to do a modern day plus smut if you’d like💖 i had so much fun with this!
Waking up in a full nelson at the sound of “wake your stupid ass up” is the last thing Sukuna expects…. Like ever. The grip has him ready to pass back out and the only thing keeping him awake is the fact THRILL that it's you. Now you may be wondering:
“what did he do to make you so mad?”
Discussing fabrics with the seamstress was taking longer than it was supposed to but you didn't mind. not only were you the it girl and material girl of the land you were Sukunas girlfriend meaning you could have anything you want. New wardrobe? Yours. Blood of your enemies? You could have their blood and their enemies blood.
It seemed the only thing you couldn't have was alone time to be a baddie. As the seamstress opened up the jewelry box revealing 3 new sets of gold hoop earrings, 5 gold bracelets, an assortment of anklets and necklaces to match it with the different silk fabrics you grin happily when all of a sudden you hear this agitating sound.
“You’ve been at it for hours with this shit” Sukuna growls, walking in for the fourth time scaring the other woman and finally pissing you off. She doesn’t do her best work when she's terrified because her hands begin to shake.
“Would you fuck off” you hiss at your boyfriend completely annoyed at his pestering antics and the way he just cant take no for an answer. And it wasn’t even that you told him no to anything, it was more so that you just wanted to indulge in yourself, it takes time to be a bad bitch.
He was equally annoyed with you as well, truth be told for several reasons. He had no idea what kind of sorcery you’d done to have him this hooked. He knew you were nearly as powerful as him with the ability to summon any snake any size and that your body contained every snake venom known (and unknown) to man. The way your eyes would focus on him when he spoke taking in every word as if it was water and you were dehydrated, the way you reach for him in your sleep and God forbid he leaves bed to finish up work(gossip with uraume) you'd storm down stairs and plop in his lap demanding to be held falling asleep the minute he holds you. Or your lips? The way you smiled at him as he cupped your chin to guide his tip—
“No!” He snaps annoyed he has to fight an inanimate object for your attention and he leans forward causing something neither of you expect it happens to fast.
Your hands grab the back of his head locking into his hair yanking so he's now eye level with you, a dark look in your eyes as your tounge grazes your lips before you can say anything his intensity matches yours.
You expect it because how dare you embarrass him in front of lower levels like this?!
His hand wraps around your neck and soon it's a power battle as it usually is with an underlying sexual tension that keeps things flowing between you, the temperature of the room dropping 20 degrees on your behalf and quickly raising 21 on his.
Petty king.
You drop your hand not wanting to fight with him and knowing deep down he didn’t either. But how dare you defy the great sukuna.
“By the time i'm done with my meeting i expect you to be done with this” he seethes making sure to set fire to all the plants as he walks past them. How dramatic!
Sighing knowing that was his way of inviting you to the meeting you turn back to the woman sending her a look of reassurance to continue.
Walking down the bare marble halls the only sound of distant footsteps and chatter as you listen to uraume who fills you in on the gossip. You gasp with a wide eyed expression stopping to face them.
“And they were bunkmates” and your jaw nearly hit the ground at the tea. The servants were so messy you wanted to see if Sukuna knew anything about it and if anything would stop your fued it would be gossip.
Urauma glances behind you, their smile falling completely off their face replaced by nervousness before bringing it back but it was already too late.  It's when they try to guide you back to where you had already come from that you get suspicious and turn around seeing Sukuna with one of the servant girls pinned to the wall, his large tattooed arm above her head as he talks.
You almost laugh at the display and at Uraume trying to get his attention, instead you link arms with your boyfriend's bestie and continue to walk past them.
“He couldn't make me jealous even if he tried! I sit on this man's face nearly every night, he buys me everything I want and besides do you see what i look like? My body was crafted! My face was sculpted i cant be jealous when i look like this” you arrogantly spit loud enough for all 3 of them to hear and a slither of you feels bad for the poor girl she had mearly been roped into this and Sukuna feels his heart swell with pride, you were his fucking girl.
But he sees a challenge, he's still a man nonetheless and being a man comes with doing stupidness you couldn't explain.
Like having another woman on his arm at a dinner he hosted with Curses he somewhat respected and neighboring estates just to show off. He was arrogant you'll give him that, and you were livid.
Watching him flaunt this ditsy little flat bodied bimbo around was pissing you off not cause you were jealous but because you were the one that should be meeting all of his allies. You were the one who’s power matched theirs, even rivaled it. You could feel your human eyes turn to snake eyes as your anger rose and roared through you.
It was disrespectful and downright embarrassing! Not only did people not know your status and who you were to him, not only did it make you feel lower than the Queen you actually were not only did you look like a complete fool having Sukunas initial on the gold beads that decorated your butt length braided ponytail but she had the audacity to smile at you as if she won.
He let another woman take your place, let another woman feel like she was above you. He let another woman sit on YOUR throne that is his lap and you can feel yourself losing your composure faster than you ever have.
You want to react in this very moment cause a scene hell even release some of your snakes but you couldn't imagine looking as dramatic and childish as Sukuna did earlier! That wasn't very it girl material of you. Instead you look over at Uraume finishing your glass of Sake, there was no point in wasting it, before shoving it in their hands and disappearing.
Sukuna would never try no shit like this again.
Uraume sends a pointed look at Sukuna who instantly dismisses the servant smirking outwardly at your silent anger, a nerve wracking thought of if he pushed entirely too hard as the silhouette of you leaving replays in his mind. Were those his initials in your braid. He instantly feels disgusted and wants everyone to leave while he talks to you but swallows the thought.
He was Sukuna Ryomen, the king of curses, the king of doing whatever he wanted and nobody could stop him or tell him otherwise. So he parties, drinks and continues the night without a hitch until the sky is at its darkest and he bids a good night showering and laying in his empty bed.
He spends about an hour tossing and turning unable to sleep not knowing where you are and pissed you aren’t in bed with him.
It's when he finally dozes off at the beginning of a dream playing that he thinks he feels the tips of your fingers in his back trailing over his broad shoulders and all four arms.
“Wake your stupid ass up” he hears before there's a vice-like grip on his neck pushing against his windpipe. He struggles for a little bit to breathe as your wrist digs into his pressure points.
“Y/N!” He shouts your name yet you only grip tighter and he doesn't even fight to get you off just shocked at your murder attempt.
“No dont fucking Y/N me! You tried to make me jealous and only pissed me off! Do I look like some weak willed bitch to you? Do you not see what i look like and you think you can make ME jealous, my king im offended! and the fucking audacity to try” you snap squeezing tighter and his hands come up to grip your arms.
“Ryomen If you ever treat me like im not your girlfriend… your fucking queen ill poison you, have you an inch from your life and take over your thrown as i watch you die” you whisper the last part in his ear sending a chill down his spine before your grip loosens completely arms unsnaking.
Climbing under the covers you make yourself comfortable before turning on your side instantly falling asleep the minute your head hits the pillow.
You miss the way your boyfriend holds his neck in disbelief with slight arousal and a tad bit of fear. You were fearless yet angry enough to not only threaten him but attempt to kill him? It’s when he hears your soft snores that actually sounds more like a snake hiss that he knows you're actually asleep.
Not only did you just pull that stunt but you had the audacity to sleep peacefully knowing he wouldn’t kill you. Not even a sliver of fear in your body. It’s like you were testing him!
He may have been a sick man because he loved every second of it, he doesn’t test his luck by wrapping any of his arms around you, instead just lays close enough to still feel your body heat until you roll over wrapping an arm and leg possesively around him.
He grins for a woman nearly a foot shorter than him, you may have the biggest ego in the room.
“Wait, she tried to kill you in your sleep, threatened to kill you once you woke up and you’re shopping for wedding rings right now?” Uraume asks and this is one of the only times Sukuna had baffled them with his madness. Uraume never questioned Sukuna, it wouldn’t make sense to and that’s how it was easy being his most loyal and right hand but this… this was different.
“Yeah, any woman that bold is made for me!” Sukuna grins looking over the rings trying to find the biggest, brightest, most sinister looking ring.
“You think after yesterday's events consisting of making her jealous and ignoring her you should propose?” Uraume stated in that pestering ‘duh jackass’ voice that would usually have sukuna second guessing.
“What? No, she rode my face this morning until she blacked out again and I sent her to the next land over shopping for whatever her heart desires then set up a hair appointment with a stylist from her homeland.” Sukuna picks up a ring with a blood diamond circled by red rubies that matched the red of his eyes. He was sure the ring could be used as an anchor… you’d love it.
“Your highness for the cost of that ring we may have to take over a small village to not have this affect our funds” Uraume advises making small notes of villages near by in other peoples territory knowing Sukuna would start a war if it meant funding his queens lifestyle.
“A village is too small i want kamiro territory, ill kill him and anybody that decides to follow him. I don’t like the way he smells anyway” Sukuna shrugs, picking up a matching bracelet for you.
“You two have more drama than the servants”

Dear name,
chapter one: welcomed
------------------------------------------------------------
Trueform!Sukuna x reader warnings: bullying, slavery word count: 1.1k
------------------------------------------------------------
"A person with a heart like you has no place to stand on this earth." Uraume said with a stolid expression but you know these words are hidden with sympathy. "Don't let others take advantage of you." As you hoped for it to be untrue but you can't avoid the fact that you are a people pleaser. Days only have passed six numbers since you worked in this man dwell and now you're letting people take advantage of you just because you don't want to cause issues. Whilst those words echo in your mind, you are walking towards the man's garden to do your second task of the day. Flourishing of the flowers are coughing fragrant out of their leaves hence being sprinkled with their medicine. The branches which were winning of space were removed for their greediness. Dying plants are being replaced with the reborn. There are plenty of medical herbs which you haven't seen before in the garden and they fascinate your eyes. The curiosity of old-you couldn't help but take them to study secretly before Uraume caught you. Now your main job was in medicine, but since none of them are ill, gardening became your second option. You find it soothing to be around the beauty of nature and caring for the medicinal herbs is important too. "Hey, you!" You faced toward where the sound was heard and you saw a woman, to no surprise, she was one of them who took advantage of you. "Clean the bathroom for me." She ordered but you faced back to the flowers and continued to fertilise them. "No, sorry I am busy." Uraume's words are ringing in your ears. "Huh?! Who do you think you are to disobey me? Do you know who I am? I am Master Sukuna's favourite." She said in fury but you continued to do your job, ignoring her until you felt Uraume's presence behind you. "Hello, Uraume." You turned and greeted them with a soft smile while the woman slightly bowed to Uraume and then left instantly. "You did good," Uraume said. "Thank you." You answered and they left, you couldn't help but feel comfortable every time you were with them.
'Ryomen Sukuna..... I wonder what he is like,' you were daydreaming and at the same time you were wandering around his dwell without a destination. Your track stops when you bump into someone, someone who you don't want to meet the most. Instinctually, you got down on your knees rapidly unaware of the bruises that were forming on your knees. Coldness is freezing your body, and none of your organs seem to function. You wanted to sink into your own shadow but you couldn't, not in front of him. "You are new, aren't you." His tone was amused whilst cold at the same time. You kept quiet because you couldn't speak without his say along your voice was unwilling to whine. "Speak." One word was enough for you to revive your breath again. "Y-yes, I am new."  "What's your name?" "My name is y/n." "Such a pathetic name." Silence. The loudest sound around you is silence.  "Look at me," he commanded and you hesitated. 'A command is a command.' you thought and decided to look up. You saw his red eyes pierced inside your whole soul and you began to shiver in dread. An enormous hand cupped your face and you leaned in impulse, till now, your eyes hadn't parted his eye yet. "Hmmm....." he hummed and caressed your cheek with his thumb. "Meet me here at midnight." "Uraumeee" you whined. "What happened now?" You sat down next to them and then lifted your kimono to reveal your bruises on your knees. "I met him and you know.... I was..scared." you looked down on your lap and a sigh was heard from them. "Don't tell anyone about this okay?" they said, raising their index finger beside your right knee. Ice spikes emerged from their finger and they used it to rub around your bruises. "Better?" "Better. Thank you." you smile and glance up at the night's art. Both of you sat in the serenity of the night's gasp and its whistle tunes until someone ruined its lullaby. "Did he say anything else?" "He told me to meet him at midnight." "hmmm"
Roaming around in the moonlight's gleam, you were on your track again but this time you had a reason to be. When you arrived at the designated spot you found him, your master. You got on your knees and bowed gently; you didn't want to make the same mistake again. "Follow me," he ordered and walked through the hallway, through the way you were forbidden to go, you got up and swiftly followed him without causing a sound of footsteps.
The smell of metallic and rusting is all over the corridor, rooms and rooms that you were passing by seem to be empty. 'It's the smell of blood. Not rust or anything but blood.' you assumed and looked up to see the hallway was coming to an end. He ceased his track and looked right back at you before opening the door with ease. At the end of a hallway, there is a gigantic door made out of pure wood and even though it is night time you can see the finely carved pattern on the door and you expected the inside to be the same too; it was the complete opposite. Relics of humans and animals are building up a mount of corpses, beyond the relics was a shrine. A shrine stained in red-blooded colour which appeared like a normal shrine but however something was off about it.
After a few more glances you stopped exploring the shrine and looked back at him. You noticed that he slowed down his pace, maybe he saw you exploring after all. Both of you continued to walk past the relics and went behind the shrine and there you saw another door, it was also gigantic but its carved pattern outshined the first one. It was made with delicateness, with all of those details on the pure woods and it ought to be defined as mesmerising. Again, he opened the door with ease, a chamber or his chamber was the final destination. He guided you inside; parchments were scattered all over and ink marks were leaking around his studies, a generous-size bed was placed on top of the room centre, a closet was set beside an unknown leading door, and a throne perfectly carved for the king was there too. The windows on top of the wall warmly welcomed the moon's ray to slip by and kiss your face whilst you caught a glimpse of him turning around to you and you heard them.
"You are cursed."

Chapter 7
Y/N was awoken by the sound of screams, pulling her consciousness from the depths of slumber.
When she opened her eyes, her vision was bathed in a fiery red hue, and she was convinced that she had gone blind. It was harrowing to be stuck in this limbo that seemed to be eternal, condemned to travel through all the shades of crimson known to the universe. Amidst the all-consuming glow, it took Y/N much longer than it should have to realize that the blood-curdling screams were emanating from within her own throat, with such raw force that it ignited her lungs in agony.
“Easy, Y/N. Easy. You’re hurting yourself.”
Large, calloused and warm hands firmly enveloped both sides of her wrists, whilst thick heavy legs hooked with her own, effectively anchoring her in place. She felt his shallow breaths tickle her earlobe, sending a shiver down her spine, as the weight of his body pressed into her; tangible and solid against the swirling tempest of red and pain.
Y/N didn’t need to see to know it was Toji.
“Easy,” Toji repeated, his rumble a soothing balm. “I’ve got you.”
He has me.
Y/N ceased her screaming, and her lungs cried out in relief as she was released from the initial suffocating grip of terror. The red veil began to wane, allowing her to discern the dark silhouette of Toji’s figure hovering above her; a beacon amidst her tumultuous sea. Each breath she took was a battle against the ebbing tide of red, ragged and ungraceful, as a blooming pain started to spread on one side of her face. The rough ridges of his hands ignited sparks of electricity against her skin, sending tingles coursing through her skin that rose into a lightning storm. Y/N found solace in the heat of Toji’s touch as she finally gazed into his blazing eyes.
“C’mon, c’mon. You can see me, I’m right in front of you,” Toji coaxed, his voice smoky and deep as he leaned his forehead against hers. “That’s it, focus.”
Y/N could feel his breath trembling just as much as hers. Here was Toji Fushiguro, a King of Hell, brought into such a state of desperation and frantic urgency. She was so engulfed in the whirlwind of his various sensations, tantalized by the possibility that if he bent down just a little lower, then their lips would touch and meet as the universe always intended. But the pain persisted, wrathful and intent on cutting their red string of fate.
Oh, the pain.
She gasped and whimpered, instinctively bringing a hand to cup the vulnerable side of her face, but Toji’s grip on her wrists tightened. His face remained impassive, yet his emerald orbs burned with such fierce determination; pupils blown so wide that she could catch her own reflection in them. For a moment, Y/N almost forgot about her pain, or why she was feeling it in the first place.
“You really need to stop nearly fucking dying on me,” Toji breathed out shakily, in a whisper that was so frighteningly unlike the way he usually spoke. “Stop making me feel this way, I can’t handle it anymore.”
It was the way his voice cracked, and his eyes communicated with her soul in a thousand ways his words couldn’t, and it softened Y/N like a tender summer’s breeze. Toji’s emotions were crystal clear through their bond, and he wasn’t hiding anything from her; bare and vulnerable as she was lying there. Y/N knew then for sure that he never thought she was insignificant, or ever cared that she was Fallen – to him, she was his very soul. The kaleidoscope of everything that made up her being also moulded him.
Toji’s lip twitched, and Y/N noted just how painfully deep his scar was embedded. His lips moved closer by a hair, and Y/N really thought he was about to kiss her.
Until screams pierced through the air, coming from right outside her bedroom doors.
Geto burst through, wild and twistedly feral as his eyes locked onto Toji, and Nanako’s cries reached a high pitched cresendo as the door gave way. His lips curled into a snarl, Y/N sensed he was about to strike, and her body bristled in preparation for a fight.
And yet, Toji was so much faster.
A black flash hurtled towards Geto, and his weight was no longer on top of her.
With such force that shook the room, Toji pinned her brother against the wall, his forearm pressed against Geto’s neck. With gritted teeth, he snapped, “This wasn’t me.”
Geto struggled against him, but Toji’s iron grip was unyielding and far superior in strength, and a vein popped in his forehead from the strained effort.
“M-mahito,” he choked out, sputtering as he glared daggers at Toji. “Nanako s-ugh-saw him fleeing.”
With that, Toji released Geto from his grasp, who roughly shoved him away. The two kings stared each other down, eyes brimming with violence, neither willing to yield to the other’s intimidating display. However, Toji’s patience was wearing thinner by the second; Y/N could feel it, his essence dominating the atmosphere in a chokehold.
“Go on,” he goaded, chin tilted upwards as he looked down at her brother. “You want to try this again, huh?”
Geto audibly growled, chest heaving – he was cornered, and he knew it. But that didn’t seem to deter him; shadows gathered and danced in the room, as the host of Curses gathering to her brother’s defense snapped and snarled. Toji simply smirked, unperturbed by her brother’s offensiveness, and Y/N knew Suguru would be crushed in an instant if she didn’t intervene.
She sat up abruptly, her bones screaming and aching as if they hadn’t been used in an age, and desperately rasped, “Toji, please.”
Toji stiffened.
He waged a battle of sheer will within himself, torn between surrendering to his instinct to win and immerse himself in the thrill of combat, and the rational part of his soul that was tethered to her – urging him to yield and fight another day.
And he did.
A great king of Hell yielded to a Fallen Angel.
Toji took a step back, hands raised in mock surrender, wearing a sly smirk directed at Geto, who was slowly refracting his shadows while still maintaining an offensive demeanor.
“Did you know?” Geto hissed, like a coiled viper.
Toji’s eyes narrowed, his expression wiped from any cockiness as he turned deadly serious. “You seriously think I would give them my approval for this? No.”
“Then why didn’t you pursue him?”
“Why the f- because my mate was fighting for her fucking life.”
Her brother’s eyes flitted over to her, taking in the lines of red over the right side of her face, and he scowled. “Are you alright now? Can you fight?”
Y/N got up from the bed, trying to ignore that her decency was compromised in her sheer nightdress, and was about to respond when Toji interjected with a harsh tone. “She is not in any state to fight, are you mad?”
“I didn’t ask you, did I?” Geto snapped, quickly ramping up his offensive stance, his fists clenched and muscles tense. “Don’t forget where you are, Fushiguro.”
Concentrated effort… restrained anger.
Toji deadpanned, completely unimpressed. “I haven’t, but see reason, Geto. Nobody understands how Mahito’s power works. Do you want to risk Y/N’s life again?”
Geto clenched his jaw, and Y/N could almost sense the whirlwind of emotions raging within him. He craved a fight, his thirst for vengeance threatened to turn him into a harbringer of justice, and it was making him not think straight. A faint tremor rippled through to his tightened fists.
“I can fight, Suguru. I feel just fine,” she said firmly, displeased at the two Kings talking over her like her voice didn’t matter. If she was going to die, it would have happened by now, surely they both knew that.
Toji gave her a hard look. “Not a chance.”
“Mimiko is dead,” Geto murmured to her, low and almost shameful, completely ignoring what Toji had just said. “Mahito touched her as he was fleeing.”
Her heart dropped.
Oh no, not her.
Poor Nanako.
Tears swelled in her eyes, and fury ignited in her chest. Her green eyed Curse looked at her with a softer gaze, expression filled with pity for her loss.
“He’s killed a member of your court, and tried to kill me,” Y/N hissed, voice thick with malice. “We have to find him and make him pay for what he’s done.”
Geto shook his head. “No, Fushiguro is right. You need to see a healer and make sure your soul hasn’t been harmed.” He shot Toji a loathsome glare, and snapped, “Take care of her, or so help me, I will tear you apart.”
Before either of them had time to respond, her brother surged out the door, barking orders with a crack of his whip. The bustle of activity outside Y/N’s bedroom shifted away as Geto’s subordinates were driven into action, and Nanako’s wails dissolved into an eerie silence.
“I would like to see you try,” Toji muttered, mostly to himself. His gaze settled back on her, and he asked. “Who’s the best healer in this place?”
She swallowed heavily, exhaling deeply. “Dead.”
He rolled his eyes. “Tch, of course. Well, come with me then.” Toji’s eyes briefly roamed her figure, before he looked away and cleared his throat. “You’ll want to change first.”
She ignored his last comment, and asked suspiciously, “Where?”
“To find a healer. The rest of yours are going to be occupied with the casualties of war, and I’m not risking subpar idiots trying to help you.”
War.
Here it was, once again.
Only this time, she had become the very thing she had once fought.
And this was to be a war unlike any other she had ever faced.
“So this is it, then. It’s begun?” Y/N whispered, as the weight of the events of the past day and night took its toll on her.
“I’m afraid so. Mahito has obviously sided with Jogo, and an assassination attempt is a clear declaration of war,” Toji replied simply, almost casually. “Now, are you coming or not?”
Y/N knew the rational thing was to go and ensure there was nothing fundamentally wrong with her, and yet, the thought of leaving Geto on his own to fight made her physically ill. But it wasn’t like she had a choice in the matter; Toji would probably drag her kicking and screaming wherever he wanted to go.
“Y/N,” his voice called, snapping her out of her thoughts. Y/N’s breath hitched as Toji regarded her with that same gentleness he had not moments ago, and he murmured. “This war isn’t your fault.”
She scoffed. “Of course it is, I’m not stupid. I owe it to myself and Suguru to make sure they all pay for this.”
“And you will,” Toji agreed, annoyingly placating. “But you won’t be much use if you burst into pieces, hmm?”
Burst into pieces.
Just like Nanami.
Her stomach churned.
Bubbling anxiousness …
Y/N couldn’t say anything against that. And so, in addition to feeling Toji’s palpable fear for her through their bond, she relented and sighed.
“Wait for me on the balcony, I’ll be ready in a minute.”
-•-
Y/N hadn’t expected Toji’s healer to dwell somewhere so… dark.
Toji had vanished into completely into the inky black mist they had stepped into from the portal, causing Y/N’s heart to race frantically at the thought of losing him. She whipped her head around frantically, consumed by irrational dread, fearing that she was doomed to the darkness forever. Suddenly, he reappeared right in front of her, completely spooking her, with a sly smirk on his face.
“Need some help?” he teased, and she scowled.
“Why’d you bring us here?” Y/N grumbled. “What’s your healer doing in a place like this?”
“I called in a favor while you were getting dressed,” Toji answered, as if that explained everything, and held out his hand for her to take.
She took it.
Tingles and sparks danced between them, each electric connecting sending Y/N’s heart pounding with a frenzy so fierce that she thought it would leap from her chest and settle inside him instead. Toji’s green eyes seemed to almost glow in the darkness, captivating Y/N so deeply that she had to avert her gaze. He cleared his throat, evidently as affected by their intense connection, and began to guide her through the mist.
“A favor?” she whispered, breaking the tension.
“Hmm? Oh, yes. Mei-Mei will be there to mediate the exchange.”
Mei-Mei? Exchange?
Her heart stung at the mention of Toji’s second, and yesterday’s argument rushed to the forefront of her mind. “Sure,” Y/N said flatly.
She knew Toji could feel her coldness creeping back in, and he gripped her hand tighter. “You know, I-” he started, searching for the right words to say. “This isn’t the time to talk about yesterday, but I just- I didn’t mean to be so...”
“Cruel?”
Toji visibly looked uncomfortable, almost shameful, and he nodded. Y/N sighed heavily, “It doesn’t matter anymore. Let’s get this over with.”
He pursed his lips, and she knew he had so much more to say, but he didn’t. They pushed on farther into the mist, and Y/N’s eyes adjusted to the midnight darkness the longer they walked, although she could have sworn it was getting even blacker.
Plop!
Y/N recoiled sharply as her foot was submerged in water; unnervingly warm and thick.
No… not water.
She sniffed the air, and squinted at her foot.
Blood.
A strange sense of déjà vu hit her.
“Toji… where are we?”
“At the borderline with Sukuna’s territory. We’re going to meet with Uraume.”
“What? Uraume doesn’t serve you.”
“No, they don’t. That’s why this is a favor.”
She was going to meet Sukuna’s second. What sort of things had Toji done to earn a favor from the King of Curses? Y/N almost didn’t want to know, and her previously uneasy feelings were now sprouting into a full-blown panic.
“Why didn’t you tell me you were bringing me here?” she hissed in a hushed tone, as if the mist would carry her words all the way to Sukuna’s ears. “How can we trust them?”
“Do you trust me?” Toji stopped abruptly, turning to look at her with narrowed eyes, his jaw set in a stubborn line.
Y/N didn’t miss a beat, because it was the truth. “Yes, but-.”
“Then trust that I’d kill them if they try to hurt you,” he swore in a low, voice as dark as the mist surrounding them.
She shivered.
A loud caw of a crow sounded above them, followed by the sloshing sounds of someone moving through the water towards them. Y/N gripped Toji’s hand tighter, and he returned the gesture. Mei-Mei’s slim figure came into view, a sultry smirk on her lips as she balanced a great battle-axe on her left shoulder.
“Uraume is just ahead,” Mei-Mei announced. Her gaze flicked down to their joint hands, and the corner of her lip curled upwards.
“Are they alone?” Toji asked.
Mei-Mei hummed in response, casually shrugging her shoulders. “They killed most of my crows that got too close. I can’t see.”
He made a sound of displeasure. “Fine, let’s go.”
Toji pulled Y/N forwards, and as they past each other, she and Mei-Mei exchanged a tense glance. Something deep within her gut told her that the lilac-eyed Curse looked down at her, as if she were no more than a speck of dirt on her pristine boots. The mere thought of Toji even kissing her filled Y/N with horror and a burning rage she didn’t know she was capable of feeling.
Within a few moments, the mist cleared ever so slightly, and the slight figure of Uraume came into view. Y/N couldn’t help but notice how small and delicate they appeared, like a tiny porcelain doll amidst a sea of blood. But much like Mei-Mei, they obviously concealed their violent tendencies with beauty; although, theirs was a quiet and ancient kind of strength. The bones of various creatures floated about in the blood, and some formed clusters that had somehow caught flame, burning in brilliant shades of red and blue. The air was far hotter here, and Y/N wondered just how blistering the heat must be at the center of Hell.
“Your mate needs my help.” Uraume’s voice sounded out from the distance, cutting straight to the point.
“You know the Curse, Mahito?” Toji’s voice echoed across the blood sea as he responded. “He touched her skin.”
Uraume cocked their head to the side, their air cold and intelligent. “She looks alive and well to me. Why did you bother calling for me?”
“I need to make sure he hasn’t latched himself to her soul,” he boomed back. “You’re the only one who can see.”
Their unique deep pink orbs settled on Y/N, and she straightened her back. It was if they were deciding whether or not to help, and Toji shifted impatiently beside her.
“You may approach me, Y/N,” Uraume finally said, and gave Toji a pointed look. “Alone.”
With that, she let go of Toji’s hand and stepped towards Uraume, remaining acutely aware of the dagger beneath her sleeves she could whip out if she needed to. But the way they looked at her, as if they knew what she was thinking, dared her to try it. Y/N knew better than to stand against a force she didn’t understand, and so she stood rigidly in front of them.
Uraume suddenly gripped her chin, their fingers seemingly made of ice and frost, causing Y/N to shudder.
Uneasiness…
The Curse turned her face side to side, observing every single little detail as if it were of vital importance. “You don’t remember?”
“I was asleep,” she answered, and Uraume shook their head, leaving Y/N with the feeling that she had answered the question incorrectly.
They hummed, letting go of her chin. “You soul is intact, so you have nothing to fear.”
Relief…
Uraume’s fingers ran down her face, like tender icicles melting in the sun, and Y/N felt the tenderness of where Mahito had touched fade away. They pulled their hand away and looked at her as if admiring their handiwork, while Y/N grazed her own fingers over her face.
“Do you know how I survived him?” she asked Uraume, a shot in the dark.
They raised an eyebrow at her. “You remember nothing anyways. It does not matter how you lived, only that you did.”
“Is it because my soul has the power of two? Because I’m Fushiguro’s mate,” Y/N asked desperately. She was on borrowed time, and Uraume seemed to have all the answers. “Does it mean that I could still survive should Mahito touch me again?”
Uraume held up a hand, silencing Y/N. “You survived, and that is the end of that. I would, however, advise against allowing Mahito the opportunity to place his hands upon you again.”
The cold Curse appeared to be in no mood to linger any longer than necessary, and to say that she wasn’t disappointed was an understatement. Y/N disliked being left in the dark; she much preferred to know exactly how and why everything worked the way it did. For Uraume to knowingly withhold information about her own body from her was absolutely despicable.
But what could Y/N do against the general of the King of Curses?
Not a thing.
That notion alone was maddening.
“One more thing, before you leave,” Uraume added, reaching into their pocket to bring forth a small box, and offered it to her. “Lord Sukuna has asked me to give you this.”
What?
Toji was next to her in a flash, watching like a hawk as Y/N hesitantly took the box from Uraume. She could feel him preparing for a fight, the energy coursing through his veins mirrored hers, but why he was so on edge she didn’t know. Y/N opened the box to reveal a dainty golden ring, the gleaming metal twisted and curled, prompting a deep frown from Toji.
“Why is he giving her this freely?” he asked, his words laced with confusion and suspicion.
“Lord Sukuna,” Uraume corrected icily, before continuing. “Told me to give Y/N this ring if her soul had no cursed energy.”
“That doesn’t tell me why,” Toji interjected abruptly, as she plucked the ring from the box and inspected it closely.
“That’s none of your concern. Do not question Lord Sukuna’s motives; just accept his gift,” Uraume bit back, casting a pointed glance towards Y/N as she said the last sentence.
Too unnerved and perplexed to form a coherent sentence, Y/N could only stare at the gift from Ryomen Sukuna himself. She felt even more in the dark than before, overwhelmed by a wave of confusion and apprehension. With a sudden gesture, she snapped the box shut as if hoping to conceal her unanswered questions within.
Mei-Mei cleared her throat and spoke for the both of them, “Thank you for this, Uraume. We are grateful for you and Lord Sukuna taking the time to help us.”
Uraume’s gaze swept over the trio, and Y/N could have sworn the blood beneath their feet was freezing over as they replied. “You owe him a great deal, Fushiguro. Don’t forget it.”
Toji’s nostrils flared, and he grumbled. “Sure.”
Uraume didn’t seem to appreciate his response but said nothing. They gave Y/N one last look, before they stepped back into a portal and disappeared.
Mei-Mei let out a small breath in relief, and commented, “That went well.”
She hovered closer to them, as if anticipating something, and Y/N tensed. Toji rolled his eyes, and reached into his back pocket, tossing her a small bag. Mei-Mei caught it effortlessly with one hand, and the bag clinked loudly – the noise betraying its valuable contents.
“Thank you. Do you need anything else,” she offered, and Y/N realized this was the first time she had glimpsed a hint of real emotion from the Curse at receiving her payment.
“No. You can go,” Toji answered, and Mei-Mei was gone in an instant, leaving the two of them alone standing in the ocean of blood.
Y/N opened the box again, carefully observing the ring. She noted the minuscule featherlight markings adorning the band, perhaps an inscription of some sort, but she couldn’t make out the words. “What is this?”
Toji sighed and extended his left hand, displaying a thicker gold ring resting on his pointer finger that Y/N hadn’t noticed before. “It’s a ring, just like this one, and it’s imbued with Sukuna’s cursed energy. It allows Curses like us to conjure portals.”
“Why would Sukuna make something like this for us? How did you manage to even get one, then?”
“Honestly? I don’t know. He came to visit me when I became King and gave me it. Said I was strong, and that I was the prime example of a perfect Curse. I apparently… fascinated him.”
It was the way Toji hesitated, looking visibly uncomfortable as he recalled his encounter with Sukuna, that intrigued Y/N. His emotions swirled with mistrust and nerves, and she realized that her seemingly invincible green-eyed Curse was almost afraid. It was a frightening reminder to her that Sukuna’s strength, particularly now in the absence of Gojo Satoru, was probably the only threat to Toji’s life.
“I suppose he’s given you a ring because you’re my mate,” Toji murmured, although it seemed as if he was thinking aloud.
“You don’t seem so sure,” Y/N replied, closing the box once more and safely tucked it away.
Toji’s expression darkened. “I’m not sure of anything Sukuna does, or why. I’d prefer to avoid anything to do with him as much as I can.”
It was no question as to why he was afraid, but Y/N couldn’t help but wonder what it was like to have been in the presence of Ryomen Sukuna.
“Well, it seems I’m not going to die,” Y/N joked lightly, wanting to lighten the tension that was gripping them both.
Toji snorted, a ghost of a smile playing on his lips. “So it seems. I’m glad.”
The ring on his finger glowed a faint golden color, and a portal of the same shade materialized in front of them. He looked at her expectantly, cocking his towards it. “Let’s get out of here”

“Welcome to my city. I know that you and your brother are more traditional than me, but I still hope you’ll like it here.”
It was a pleasant surprise to find Toji’s city bustling with activity. The streets, although well-paved and smooth, had veins of molten lava coursing through it, casting a bright orange and red glow that illuminated the area. The buildings eerily reminded her of Heaven, but in a polar opposite way. Grand dark stone towers stood tall amidst the midnight sky, adorned with intricate carvings of strange and grotesque creatures.
Toji led her to the main marketplace, bustling with various stalls and shops selling food, clothing, and trinkets. It was teeming with all manner of Curses; some resembled her and Toji, some a mixture that blended both monster and humanoid features, and others were more horrid and twisted in appearance. As they passed, the Curses immediately took notice of their Kings presence, their stares burrowing holes in the back of Y/N’s head. But none dared to approach them directly, which was a relief. This was quite a public display of their bond, but with their secret out in the open, Y/N supposed it didn’t matter much anymore.
She decided to voice her inner thoughts. “This reminds me of Heaven.”
Surprise…
Toji looked at her as if she had grown two heads, one eyebrow comically raised. “Huh?”
“Yeah, your city is like Heaven, but flipped the opposite way. I don’t really know how to explain it, maybe Geto would disagree with me.”
“Is it… a bad thing?”
“No! It’s quite beautiful, actually.”
Toji appeared gladdened, as relief washed over his face, though Y/N could sense his underlying nervousness and shyness through their bond. She had to stop herself from smiling, because it was quite endearing. Following his lead, they strolled through the streets of his city, which he seemed to know like the back of his hand. She understood now why he was so determined to protect his people; Toji provided and protected them well, ensuring they wanted for nothing. This contrasted starkly with Suguru’s citizens, who often exuded an aura of sadness and neediness due to their struggles. Food was scarcer, skirmishes and raids along the border were common occurrences, and they had lost their King, whom they had known for centuries.
Of course, not having to worry about an impending war would certainly help.
Toji broke the silence with a question. “I hope you don’t mind me asking, but I’m curious. Do you miss it? Heaven, I mean.”
Did she?
Did she miss those first moments of the day when she lay in her bed, watching the first rays of the dawn filter through her window? There something so profoundly peaceful about that time, so uniquely ethereal, that it was one of her reasons for getting out of bed everyday.
Did she miss those moments when she and Nanami used to sit together on the lush meadows after a sparring session? When they would enjoy the cool breeze and the sun on their faces, and she would watch the wind flow through his golden locks.
Did she miss those times when Gojo used to gather a feast of figs from the trees outside his tower for them both to enjoy? He would always peel the fruits for her, a smile on his face as he let her have the best ones.
It would be a lie if she said no.
“Sometimes,” Y/N admitted quietly, not wanting to acknowledge the magnitude of how much she actually did miss it. “Parts of it.”
Toji hummed. “I’d be surprised if you didn’t, it was your home for…”
He suddenly started to chuckle, and she looked at him quizzically. “What’s so funny?”
“Sorry, but I don’t actually know how old you are.”
“Well, how old are you?”
“I asked you first, but I’m somewhere in the middle of the eight-century mark, I think.”
“I’m five hundred and seven.”
“Oh, very precise.”
“And you’re very old.”
Toji barked out a laugh. “Why should I bother counting, then?”
“So you don’t accidentally say you’re older than you actually are. You could be fifty years younger and you’d never know.”
“Pft! Fifty years isn’t much.”
“Fifty years is a lot.”
“Hmm, maybe I’ll ask if Mei-Mei has some old records from the Zenins. See how old I am exactly.”
Y/N’s mood turned sour at the mention of her, and her smile vanished from her face. She recalled their argument yesterday, and how Toji had told her she had no business knowing anything about him. Yet, here he seemed to have had a complete change of heart. Her near-death experience shouldn’t have been a requirement for him to allow himself to open up to her – something he still seemed reluctant to do. Was she not deserving enough to know who he really was? Would she ever be?
If not, then what was the point of fate – God – bringing the two of them together?
Toji sensed her mood shift, of course he did. It was still new to Y/N, the idea that her emotions could be sensed without his essence overpowering her psyche, the way Gojo’s had done in his Infinite Void. But Toji remained silent, which disappointed Y/N. They had reached a grand staircase leading up to what could only be Toji’s palace, as there was no other building they had passed that was as large as this one.
“I’m assuming you’re hungry,” Toji remarked, pushing open the oversized dome-shaped doorway to the palace. Y/N nodded, and he motioned for her to follow him.
The Curses dwelling inside the palace stared at them with wide eyes, bowing respectfully at Toji as he passed, their hushed voices whispered excitedly after the pair passed. Y/N could have sworn she heard the words ‘mate’ and ‘Queen’ being whispered, and that filled her with alarm. Toji led her to a balcony overlooking the city, dimly lit with smoldering lanterns, complete with a table and chairs.
“This is where I usually eat,” he explained, his voice gravelly. “It’s nice. A good view of the city.”
Y/N hummed in agreement and took a seat. Toji did the same, and servants immediately came in from the inside to place platters of steaming food in front of them both. They looked at her strangely when she thanked them and respectfully bowed at both of them as they left. It was awkward silence, to say the least, as they ate. Y/N could feel Toji glancing at her often, trying to lock eyes with her.
Toji finally spoke, pushing his plate away from him, and Y/N could feel his leg bouncing rapidly beneath the table. “Look, I’m not good at these things. But about yesterday, I couldn’t say all the things I wanted to say the way I wanted to – the right way, you know?”
“You’re not obligated to tell me anything, Toji.” Y/N replied evenly, though she was quite taken aback that a King of Hell was rambling. “Just how I’m not either.”
“No but you… you share things with me anyways. Freely. You don’t hide yourself from me, and I’ve never felt you do it.” Toji admitted, his voice slightly strained, his gaze fixed on his lap as his leg bounced faster.
He’s so nervous.
“What I’m trying to say, it was both of us that suffered a loss yesterday. We were both vulnerable, but I was so angry that we were so exposed. Because it was me who should’ve killed Mahito when I had the chance.”
“Toji, you said it yourself. Killing him would have warranted too many questions.”
“Yeah, but this outcome is so much worse because it was something neither of us could have controlled. Killing him would have been controlled.”
Toji sighed, shaking his head. “That doesn’t matter, and it’s not what I’m trying to say. I should have been there. I should have stayed. I wanted to ask you to come with me, to stay here with me. That’s why I came to you yesterday.”
“I know, Geto told me,” Y/N said gently, as if revealing some embarrassing secret.
“Oh, right. I forgot about that,” he chuckled, scratching the back of his head. “I suppose that was me being desperate.”
“Clearly,” she giggled, her laugh tinkling like bells, and Toji’s eyes lit up. “You really think Suguru has that much influence?”
His face fell a little at that. “So, you won’t stay? Not even after what happened last night?”
Y/N could see it again now, Toji’s soul laid bare and raw before her. He was choosing vulnerability this time, laying his emotions on the line for just for her. It was truly what he wanted, for her to stay with him. Y/N couldn’t help herself, she reached over and placed her hand over his.
“No, Toji. It would be running away and leaving my family to fight a war that I caused,” Y/N replied softly, afraid of breaking him apart into tiny pieces.
“You wouldn’t be running, not to me,” Toji murmured, his eyes fixed on her hand over his.
“I know, but I would never forgive myself if I left them now.”
Toji stared at her, and she sucked in a breath. “You have such a fire in you now, you know? You know exactly where you need to go, and what you need to do.” He gripped her hand, sliding his fingers between hers. “Don’t ever put it out.”
She blushed heavily, feeling any lingering tension she had for her green-eyed Curse crumbled into dust.
“But if you need me, then call for me. I’ll come to you,” he continued lowly, his voice rumbling and almost sultry, as he squeezed her hand.
Y/N smiled shyly. “Thank you, Toji.” She looked over to the city, shying away from the intensity of the moment. “I can see what you’re trying to protect here.”
“They don’t deserve to be dragged into my… feelings.”
They sat together in comfortable silence, their hands still firmly in each other’s grasp, and Y/N had to fight to keep the smile from spreading widely across her face.
“You, uh-,” Toji cleared his throat, hesitating before continuing. “You asked me if Mei-Mei and I eve-.”
Y/N cut him off, waving her other hand quickly at him. “No, no Toji! You were right yesterday, and it’s something I don’t want or need to know.”
He sighed, rubbing his thumb on her hand. “Well, I didn’t mean that. But you should know that I never did anything like that with her.”
The relief was so immense that Y/N had to refrain herself from sighing loudly.
Anxiousness…
Toji mumbled, “Did you and Gojo ever… do anything?”
Y/N giggled wildly, and it was his turn to look at her quizzically. “I think you forget seraphim don’t do anything like that until after marriage.”
“Oh, I see,” he said, seemingly embarrassed. Perhaps he didn’t know, and Y/N wondered how much Curses really knew about Angels. After a minute of silence, Toji added. “So, uh, you- are you? Tch!”
She found his flustering quite endearing. “What?”
Toji sighed pointedly, gathering his thoughts to formulate a proper sentence. “Would you still prefer to do things that way?”
Y/N frowned. Toji was making her consider aspects of her old life that she had never thought of before. Would she remain pure until marriage? She’d embraced everything else about being a Curse – the freedom, the bloodlust – so why was this any different? And yet, strangely enough, Y/N couldn’t imagine doing it any different.
“I think… I think so yes,” she finally replied, her words slow, as if she doubted them herself.
Toji hummed. “And what about other things?”
Y/N almost choked on her own spit, her cheeks flushing bright red again. He smirked at her, and she pursed her lips indignantly. “Stop that.”
“What?” Toji said with mock innocence. She gave him a sharp look, but a smile was threatening to break out over her wavering lips. “Okay okay! Fine,” he conceded, a handsome smile lighting up his features as he laughed.
In that moment, Y/N thought Toji was the most gorgeous creature she had ever been blessed to lay eyes on.
“Tell me what Heaven was like then, if you don’t mind,” Toji asked, leaning in closer to her from across the table, his hand still deliciously warm.
Her eyes twinkled with mischief. “That’s quite a long story. I think I’ll need to hear more about you afterwards.”
He smiled. “Of course.”
