After dealing with so much stuff in her life, with the mask and without the mask, Marinette is so tired... she is so tired of having to tiptoe around everyone because of her secret identity, she is so so tired of dealing with Lil's lies and with the fact that even if Alya already knows that she's ladybug... She still decided to believe whatever comes out of her mouth.

Most of the class still believes Lila too, Adrien is not much of a help in that area as of currently, and then someone who supposedly is a "miraculous guardian" decided to try and take HER miraculous box from her, and with the bomb to both Cat noir and Pollen dropped on her about what actually happened with Chloe, makes her feel ever worse then she already felt...

She has no actual support system and she can't even talk to cat noir about her problems because of the stupid identity rules that are in place (and because of her fear of him becoming Chat Blanc but she would never admit that outloud... Atleast not now). She's so stressed out and overwhelmed that she's starting to find comfort in Ursa's visits and check ups

She knows it's not good that she found out she was Multi-mouse but it's better then her finding out she's Ladybug, sometimes it confuses her how someone who so blatantly shows her distaste and annoyance for her alter-ego... be so thoughtful and caring with her secret identity. Sometimes Ursa would show up on her balcony with some little gift or trinkets that 'supposedly' reminded her of her like if she knew or saw that that day was a hard and gloomy day for her. Other times she'd show up with nothing as an offering and just sit down or stand next to her, admiring the night sky, not saying anything as if she knew that on those days Marinette only needed to have someone there next to her, not talking just the presence of someone next to her... To show her and reassure her that she at least has one person there for her.

But not in any of the previous times that Ursa visited did Marinette ever cry in front of her... until today... everything that she's been piling up and locking away into the back of her mind finally explode. And she's didn't even know when she started crying, she only realized she was crying until after Ursa pointed it out through a question, she tried desperately to calm down cuz really... crying over the fact that the person you consider a friend, (at least while not wearing a mask) who for some reason reminds you so much of your old bee holder that you failed so horribly, looked so much like her when interacting with a bee, is not something you should be crying about

And it doesn't help that Ursa is so concerned about why she's crying, why is she concerned? Why is this vigilante such a better friend then the ones she's known her whole life? She shouldn't be concerned. She has other stuff to worry about. Like protecting the other temporary heros or like doing something else entirely different that doesn't include comforting Marinette.

But deep down Marinette knows that out of everyone she knows... She would prefer Ursa being the one to comfort her and then anyone else... Maybe it's for the fact that she's a bear... Bears are known for their warmth... Or maybe it's because of her secondary power that makes her feel safe enough to let go of her emotions... Ot maybe it's because she reminds her so much of Chloe Bourgeois and even if Chloe and her aren't in good terms now... She can at least be on good terms with Ursa... Like she wished fo be with Chloe

Boulangerella - a fairy tale/cinderella story full of love square shenanigans, blood sacrifices, and scheming villains

Butterfly Effect - Adrien as Hawkmoth/Shadowmoth AU; Marinette and Chloe hold the ladybug and cat miraculous - songfic with butterfly effect by FJØRA

Expectations - Kwami Swap AU where Adrien is Mister Bug from the beginning; he's dealing with the anxiety of his role (and the knowledge that he handed his earrings over to hawk moth in another timeline and has no idea why)

After the War (place holder title) - a 1920s post-WWI AU, where Marinette runs her parents' bakery by day and a club by night; the club is a cover to take down war-profiteer Gabriel Agreste through vigilante action; Adrien has just returned to Paris from his time abroad in London, and Marinette has to wrestle with her childhood crush on him and her now grown-up hatred for his family

Time Lady of Creation (place holder title) - A Time Lord AU - I will say little else about it because it's still in the outline stages with only a few scraps of scenes drafted

UPCOMING SECTIONS

The next chapter is full of A LOT of confrontations and hard conversations - Marinette & Luka (the original conversation has been written but it needs to be redrafted to a new context); Felix and Lila (again, a lot of their stuff is written but needs to be redrafted); and Marinette & Chat Noir (not drafted yet - fragments abound in notes but need to be tied together)

Adrien has to figure out how to get his hands on the Cat and Ladybug Miraculouses so that he can save Marinette from a terrible fate

Marinette needs to help Adrien face Miracle Queen - I'm excited about the Cat/Dragon and Bug/Snake renditions of their powers for this AU, but this fic just kept getting comments that were like "it's not even that different from canon" and so I no longer care too much about this fic - I'm just irritated because I wrote the ending already and i LOVE the ending but I can't post the ending without writing the middle

The next scene I need to write is a confrontation between Ladybug and Adrien Agreste, where he doesn't realize how much she hates him and she has no idea how much he's madly in love with her

Right now it's mostly an outline, so I need to write the beginning, where Ladybug saves Adrien from a wax museum come to life then asks him to run away with her through time and space!

hi so about the miraculous danganronpa, bc its an Akuma attack does that mean the deaths won't be permanent since Ladybug can just miraculous cure it away? do the participants know that its an Akuma attack? would they be able to see the broadcasts after the miraculous cure thing or keep their memories from it? btw I think ur au and art is very cool!! also will u ever turn this into a full thing like in the form of a fic or comic or smth?

Okay- sorry it took me so long to get to this ask! I wanted to make sure I had a fully formed answer first.

The participants definitely aren’t aware of what is really going on behind the scenes. Like in the games, the characters have had their memories wiped, and only remember their ultimate ability and their names (and a little bit of their pasts, with varying clarity).

I’m not sure if I want it to be an actual akuma attack (with the same mechanics as the miraculous show) or if I want it to resemble an akuma attack with danganronpa logic applied instead.

If it was danganronpa logic, Gabriel would have used a mind control device like they did in the danganronpa anime, having the same effect on Adrian as an actual akuma would have (or I could lean into the “Adrien is an artificially created human” angle and say Gabriel was able to mind control him that way- maybe with a microchip imbedded in his mind?). “Ladybug” would have been Marinette’s vigilante persona, fighting against the ultimate despair (Gabriel) with “Chat Noir” at her side. I imagine neither would have magical super suits or powers, but that they would be leading a resistance against Gabriel (the rest of the characters that held miraculous in the show would be part of this resistance).

Gabriel wouldn’t know the identities of Ladybug (dubbed the Ultimate Creative) or Chat Noir (dubbed the Ultimate Destruction), and they wouldn’t know Gabriel’s identity either. Gabriel would just be known as an entity called the Ultimate Despair. Gabriel’s mind control of Adrien happened when he found out his son’s identity as “Chat Noir” and used his moment of weakness to use mind control on him. Through Adrien, he found out about all the other people in the resistance and their identities, so he orchestrated a game of despair (including Felix and Lila because they were both starting to cause problems for him). This would be how Adrien became the Ultimate Despair of the game, through his father’s mind control.

I imagine Kim and Max wouldn’t be included in the game because they somehow managed to escape or maybe joined the side of despair. Idk.

If I go for the miraculous logic akuma attack, then yes, the characters would be brought back to life.

If I go with danganronpa logic (which I personally find more exciting) than no, unfortunately, the characters would have to stay dead. (Plus that would leave the AU open to an “Ultimate Despair Girls” arc- that would be very fun, I think).

I probably won’t do a full comic/fanfic, but I probably will continue doing artworks for it.

Lila 😅 she entered my Playing with Fire story without my permission and I had to stop all work on that one for pretty much the rest of the year lol But! I am getting back into that one slowly but surely 😊

Nothing specific, but it does have to have lyrics, preferably lyrics I know well. For some reason I can't make words go unless they're already bouncing around my brain!

I really really liked the Vigilante AU I wrote for the kiss prompts! There was sooo much more to that one and I'm really really hoping I have the energy to continue it sometime soon 👀

Gothamia didn’t need vigilantes. He was intimidating and powerful enough as Bruce Wayne, the Crown Prince. What his kingdom need was someone who wasn’t scary, someone who could be a gentle comfort and provide reassurance. Someone who was a target. Someone who could find out the truth, how the least powerful, least valued citizens were treated, and hopefully what the most powerful could do to help.

“Wait! Um... what’s your name?” Lila asked. Dammit. For all his contingencies, he hadn’t even come up with a fake name? What was wrong with him?

“My name isn’t important,” he said firmly, but not unkindly.

“Well, you just helped me a lot, I have to call you something!”

“Call me whatever you’d like,” Bruce turned, already pulling up his hood.

“How about Batman? That’s what that drunkard called you isn’t it?” Bruce paused a second.

Bruce gave her a miniature smile.

“Sure, if that works for you.”

Then he turned and left.

Batman it is.

 A royalty au in which Alfred is the king of Gothamia, with Bruce as crown prince and a co-ruler. Let’s see how the introduction of each character goes differently in this new context.

Vigilante!Au where Master Fu lost the mouse miraculouse along with the butterfly and peacock miraculous and none of them ended up in the same place

Marinette gets ahold of the mouse miraculous first about a couple years before canon and becomes a vigilante, without Hawkmoth putting her constant danger she’s able to learn a lot about the miraculouses and understands the mouse one almost as well as Fu understands all of them, with her knowledge she effectively takes out dangerous creeps and petty criminals at night

No matter how much Fu tries, Marinette is too good at concealing her identity to be found (and Mullo is having too much fun to tell Fu where she is)

A couple of years later, Gabriel Agreste gets ahold of the butterfly miraculous, finds out about the Ladybug and Cat miraculous thing, and uses it to try and lure those miraculouses into the public eye so he can find them

At this point, Fu has to start passing the miraculouses out but he keeps running into the problem of either the people don’t fit the miraculous, or they do fit but then the people can’t fight together even though their miraculouses work well together, or the people work really well together but their miraculouses don’t work too well with each other

(Someone finds the broken peacock miraculous and starts off as a minor villain who works from the shows, sending small sentimonsters out to harass the heroes)

The miraculous keep getting passed around and the citizens start becoming restless, they want Marinette to take over as Ladybug but Marinette only works that well because it’s Mullo she’s working with (however, even though she keeps saying she doesn’t want the Ladybug miraculous, there’s a tension between her and anyone gunning for the Ladybug position, which only makes things worse because, as the only one with the experience and skill, they all need to work together with Marinette)

After Hawkmoth gets exposed, Fu retires and leaves Alya to become the next Guardian, the only permanent heroes are Kagami, Luka, and Nino, with the other miraculous still being passed around to find a good fit (Alya is usually the semipermanent Ladybug on most days)

Everything comes to a head when the broken peacock miraculous mentally snaps the person using it (the peacock miraculous is draining the holder of all their power and they’re on the verge of collapsing into a coma, this sets off a kind of magical adrenaline boost where they’re a bit unhinged because they know they’re in danger, their body knows it, but they don’t know why or that they should take off the miraculous)

It turns out to be Lila, who knows Alya is the guardian because Alya told her, thinking Lila was a trusted friend, so Lila goes after the guardian first, leaving a rag tag group of heroes who don’t know how to work with each other

Honestly it would get pretty Oceans if we include everyone.

If I do a Leverage AU then I'd have ML's Main Five be the main Leverage Crew. With the others being side characters and contacts.

So the Main Five!

Marinette - Mastermind. I will not hear any argument. She can do other things, but I can roll with this one.

Adrien - Either Hacker or Thief. Hacker because I remember AGES ago someone else made an AU where LB was the only hero and Adrien became a vigilante hacker to help her. But it makes sense as Adrien would be holed up in his room all the time and would learn hacking skills. I say Thief because I cannot resist the Cat Burglar pun.

Alya - Grifter or Hacker. Grifter because it fits in with Canon on her being our Fox Illusionist. Hacker because technology is her thing and also Lady Wifi

Nino - Honestly I could roll with anything for him?

Chloé - The only one I'm eliminating from her is hacker because that's not her vibe. But the other three could actually work. Grifter because she learned how to navigate social things, especially high-society they'd be infiltrating. Thief because she'd love the thrill and attention. Hitter because self-defense classes can get WILD.

What would Marinette, Adrien and Lila think of each other in the Tri Life AU? And the rest of the class? Would this Marinette receive a Miraculous?

Adrien Dupain is a bit of a playboy, nothing too serious, but he finds himself crushing more on a variety of characters than falling hard for one. He crushes on his partner, pulled in by the mystery. He'll crush on Kagami when she gets there, who fences and is pretty. He crushes on Marinette, finding her to be charming and elegant. Sometimes she seems like a princess from another world. And Lila when he meets her, he also finds her to be sweet and pleasant, though whatever crush he had on her dwindles as she doesn't make much effort to hang out with him. Over all, Adrien likes Marinette and Lila well enough. Thinks they're pretty cool.

Marinette Cheng thinks Adrien is goofy. He does make her crack a smile and there's a childish charm to him, but that's about it. Honestly, he reminds her of a puppy. Someone to hang out with and have fun, but can tire you out too. Lila though makes Marinette very suspicious. The way she talks and walks into the room, the shift of her eyes; she reminds Marinette of the sketchy politicians she has met before. Those that are here to work for their own agenda and not others, that are the closest thing to cartoon villains to exist. Marinette treats Lila with neutral kindness and patience like she does with those sort of politicians, and takes great care to keep this girl at an arm's pace. As she doesn't know what Lila is up to, she can't entirely dismiss or her. Best to be on guard and vigilante.

Lila deems Adrien to be simple and not worth her time. Her main focus is on Chloe and Marinette. Chloe, her ex childhood friend, knows that Lila often manipulated things to get Chloe in trouble a lot and the spiteful blonde isn't going to make life easy for Lila; luckily she's still quite terrible, so most won't believe Chloe. But Marinette, Lila can tell by the look in Marientte's eyes that she knows that Lila is up to something. Thankfully, she hasn't outwardly call her out like Chloe would try, but Lila can tell that Marinette's scheming and watching her. Lila is admittedly nervous of the diplomat's daughter, and is doing what she can to plan a counterattack. Best to strike first before this girl does.

Classmates wise:

Adrien is closest thing to most popular boy, and that's due to him making use of his father's bakery. Though in truth, Nino is the only person he's tight with. He is well liked but not particularly close with anyone. He does make them laugh here and there, and come with tasty treats, but Adrien doesn't really go out of his way for them and they don't go out of their way for him either. At most, Adrien and Kim will have parkour races, and sometimes Alix joins in and sometimes she deems herself above them. Chloe is the closest to not liking Adrien, but barely tolerates him because her father and his mother worked together before. But gosh, he's just not funny and is so obnoxious... the best she can do is try to tolerate him.

Marinette is an instant hit upon arrival. Its the way she smiles, the way she walks, and how she seems so energetic and warm; she just naturally pulls people in. She's a popular girl who's friends with everyone. It became official when she promises and agrees to make them stuff. Fixes clothes with tears, makes plushies and pillows upon request, make a banner for a race, ect.. She's pretty loved and adored, ready to help and provide to any that ask. Chloe though thinks Marinette's trying to set herself up as a saint and it's annoying. She very reluctantly allies herself with Marinette upon learning that Lila doesn't like her. You know what they say, enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Similarly to Marinette, Lila is a big hit. A star model and daughter of an iconic fashion designer, she relished the curious and excited attention she got that first day. But that instant popularity dwindled a little with Marinette Cheng's existence, as she also makes promises and delivers upon them far faster than Lila. Lila is still very much well liked, but she isn't the sun in the classmates eyes. It's something she's not happy about, not that the class is aware. Chloe though is full aware of what Lila is like and is irritated that Lila would dare come into her life here. A tense rivalry is quick to spark between them, with Lila being more subtle in her clash while Chloe is more outward. It was easily a one sided match, until Chloe sought to ally herself with Marinette.

Miraculous wise for Marinette, off the top of my head, leaning Fox the most.

Not only for the irony of Lila canon setting herself up as a false Fox, but there's the factor that this Marinette is more verbally clever and more observant and has a better, faster read on people. She's a perfect mix of having attention, but also working from the background. Currently, she is the best for Fox as a manipulator that can have attention and work things for her favor with people unaware of her manipulation. And she still has that creativity to match with illusions. So Fox would be my initial pick, and depending on the heroes (as Adrien's partner is currently undecided), Fu may pick her to be a full time hero and work from the shadows. But that is not for sure. Admittedly though, I do have bias for Huli Rouge.

Okay so disclaimer I mainly know marvel through fanfics and a couple of the MCU movies. Having said that this was a fun write hope you like it.

Oh and Marinette knows Tom isn’t her bio dad. Tony is Sabine’s cousin.

Marinette was a lot of things. She was a dancer, a gymnast, a bio chem major, an engineer, an amateur detective, a superhero, and completely over her class at idiots who followed a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Marinette was actually done with high school. In fact she was two years into her first Masters degree along with skipping two years. Making her two years younger than the sheep in her class and at least four years younger than those in her university class.

Mari was sitting in the back of the class during her last period when she received an email and several texts, thank kwamii her phone and tablet were on silent.

She decided to open her email first.

You have been selected as one of the lucky seven applicants to study and intern at Stark Industries for two weeks this summer. Below is the date, location, and mentor you will report to. We hope to meet you then. -Sincerely Co-CEO Virginia Potts

She would have answered her text had the projector not began to glitch and calling her name. "Mari bug answer your phone!"

'Ugh' she sighed running her hands down her face. "I would have Uncle T if you hadn't started yelling from the projector!"

"But Peps just told me and..."

"Wait," her head snapped up. "How many screens are you projecting on." She started to look around, her uncle, who never not used the camera unless... Then she saw the Iron Man suit.

"I dunno maybe the whole school, the city, the country I don't know."

"Ya I'm not dealing with this at least not here." She walked down the stairs her bag packed hung from her shoulders. "Oh and Uncle T, fe...male 4 o'clock." He began to sputter but she didn’t stay in the classroom and walked out without looking back.

Thank kwamii that her uncle was only projected in her class. It did have the unfortunate side effect of her class sending confused and curious looks at her. Even Lila seemed to stop her tirade for a while. But all good things must come to an end.

"Alright do I have all the permission slips for the summer graduation trip." Miss Bustier started counting the slips. “Marinette your permission slip is missing."

"I'm aware."

"If you want to go you need it in by the end of the day."

"Seriously Mari, if you want us to beg you to come save it. We don't want a bully on this trip wit us." Alya huffed before Marinette could speak.

"One only my friends call me Mari, you are not one of them so it's Marinette to you Cesaire. Two you save it I don't want to hear any of you beg me for anything. Finally three, I already had plans for this summer. So this trip I’ll be a no show so have fun."

“Y...Yes but this is a class trip,” Miss Bustier stammered.

“I understand that but it would still be a class trip even if I don’t go.” Was Marinette’s retort.

Miss Bustier would have continued had her Uncle not burst into the room. Her head was now banging against the desk. To his credit he was not in a suit, Iron Man suit included. He was in more ‘Civilian wear' with a baseball cap and shades.

"Ready to go Bug! I already signed you off."

"How mad is Auntie Pepper going to be when she finds out you came to Paris." She was now next to him at the door still in the classroom.

"Pete's here!" He shouted.

"Fine our secret." She smiled leaving the class behind without a wave or goodbye.

Interning with her Uncle Tony was great. Especially because she could get his input on her projects and learn from him directly.

It also helped that she stayed in Avenger's Tower and that ment leaving for akuma's was easy and was expected. Every summer she would spend with her uncle for the past five years. Meaning that they knew when she became Ladybug since it's kind of hard to keep a secret identity from FRIDAY, who is constantly monitoring the tower.

On the plus side that meant she had adult guidance and mentors.

"Mari bag mind going to pick up the Bats and Hood?”

"Suit?"

"Suit."

she left and was swinging between the sky scrapers, until she landed at the meet up point. She didn't have to wait long.

"Who are you?" Red helmet, so Red Hood, asked.

"I'm Ladybug. My guess is he just sent that bug was going to meet you guys."

"That's night how did you know?"

"There's three bugs at the tower right now Black Widow, Spider Man, and me so it's understand able, come on."

They made their way to the tower and she dropped her transformation. "If you guys want to change FRIDAY will guide you." she faced them, smiled, and walked off.

Something had been bothering him since he first saw the girl, Ladybug. Two days had passed and that feeling was not going away.

"Don't even think about it Bruce." Tony glared at him. "You are not adopting her she already has loving parents."

"I wasn't... why would you think that."

"We told you you have a problem B!" Jason yelled from across the room. "So what is your name anyway everyone just calls you either Maribug, Buginette, or just bug."

"Those all sound more like nicknames," Bruce now added having made his way across the room with Tony.

"That's because they are," she gave them a bored and a 'duh' look. "My name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng."

A memory flashed in his mind from 16 years ago.

"You wouldn't happen to know a Sabine Cheng?" Bruce asked.

Now both Marinette and Tony turned on him and the glare Marinette was giving him. Well he would recognize it anywhere, he trademarked it after all.

"Why would you ask that?" Tony was the first to answer, but not soon after Marinette spoke.

"Yes. She's my mother." Then she looked at him as if she were analyzing him. "Oh fuck" she groaned.

"Language!"

"Oh not now or kwamii help me I will beat you to a pulp later during sparing Uncle Steve."

"I'll bring the popcorn." Natasha piped.

“You’re not helping.” Steve argued.

“We both know she can take you. She added as they left the room.

"Mari Sweetie, what's up."

"Eyes, hair, build, complexion"

"Glare," he added.

"Not helping but yes. Ya know apparently being a hero is genetic," She had began to laugh.

"No don't tell me, that my sweet smart niece is related to..." Tony Just motioned at him not finding the right words.

"Ya well it looks that way uncle Tony."

"B. Demon spawn is not going to be happy." Jason scolded once he seemed to grasp the concept. "Hey at least you have a kid who already knows your a vigilante and a hero to boot.” Jason grinned.

Of all the ways Mari had thought she would meet her biological father, this was not one of them. Who would have thought interning with her uncle would lead to meeting her father. This is by far better than a class trip with those sheep she calls classmates.
