As someone who for a while was in a similar situation to Billy, he's absolutely gunna have buyers remorse over Everything for a long time. For a while his friends are going to have to trick him into buying nice things for himself by disguising it as things like "if we each get one we can match" or "let's go somewhere nice for lunch." Because he 100% will immediately buy stuff for his friends. I feel like one of Billy's main love languages is Gift Giving, followed by silent displays of affection. For example just sitting in eachother's general area not needing to exchange any words as one person is reading and the other is playing a video game but they both know the other is there and will always be there if they do need anything.
Also everyone insists that Billy at minimum spemds the night on the Watch tower, eats a full meal or Teo, and takes a bath. Bill ends up agreeing to get them off his case and for the first time in maybe years, he has a full hot meal, a hot shower with good water pressure that lasts as long as he wants it too, and when he gets out Flash ran down to Earth and came back with about a dozen sets of Kids Sleeping Clothes that be bought at Walmart in Roughly Billy's Size. He carefully avoids the ones that are clearly Super Hero Themed and goes with the one covered in cats instead. They are warm and fuzzy and when he goes to bed he finds its got a stuffed bat toy waiting on the bed for him. He definitely does not fall asleep snuggling it.
It's the best Sleep that Billy has had in as long as he can remember. Maybe the reveal wasn't such a bad thing after all.
My heart has exploded in the best way possible, comfort at the end makes it all worth it.
They made him stay at the Watchtower until they could get the apartment arranged and everyone collectively decided that it was now bonding time. Diana takes Billy out for sweets and to Bat Burger for lunch. Bruce takes him out with one of his kids to get Billy some new clothes so he has more options than his one sweater. Clark upon hearing he's interested in school, takes him out for school supplies. Victor takes him to the park to play football, as Billy or Marvel.
Billy would have been fine doing all this on his own but them being there with him made it all the more special. Now they're all co-parenting him in a way.

I've seen a lot of "fanfiction is only tolerated because it's not monetised" takes recently and they're completely missing the point of why IP owners tolerate fan works.
Fanfiction inherently breaches copyright, whether you make money off of it or not. The reason why copyright owners tolerate fanfic is not because fanfiction writers don't make any money for writing it but because fandom is insanely profitable for IP owners. Fandom gives the original works value those corporations could never dream of creating on their own. Why is Skyrim the one video game that won't die? Because Bethesda enables and encourages modding, releasing modding tools and even enabling mods on playstation, something basically unheard of. This allows gamers to change anything they don't like about Skyrim, personalise it to their preferences and add endless new content so it never gets boring.
Fanfiction does exactly the same for other mediums: it lets fans fix whatever they perceive as mistakes, personalise the content to their preferences and it adds endless new content. If you watch an obscure TV show that doesn't have a fandom, how invested are you going to stay long term when there are no gifs for you to reblog and no fics to read? And in contrast, how invested are you going to stay if you watch a different show which has endless fan content to consume?
Fan works keep media relevant, generate free promotion and create deeply invested consumers. Why can Bethesda keep releasing full price Skyrim reworks for every conceivable platform - that people keep paying for? Because mods keep people invested in Skyrim. Why are people buying stupid official merch for ancient franchises like Harry Potter? Because fandom keeps those franchises alive.
Fandom is only "non profit" for the fans. For IPs, fandom is free labour that generates absurd monetary value - that's the real reason they allow or even encourage it. Disney and Netflix won't suddenly start going after AO3 because some people made $15 on kofi lol AO3 is making them way too much money. Also, going after fandom in the age where internet fandom drives media consumption would be a PR disaster. Harry Potter was the first big fandom to be born into the internet era and Warner Brothers learned very quickly to stop cease and deceasing fansites when the fandom boycotted their HP products in return.
Don't delude yourself into thinking that multi-billion corporations wouldn't have fanfic sites shut down in a second if fanfic was inconvenient for them in any way. They allow fanfic because it's fucking profitable for them and they don't care if fan writers make some change along the way.

99% of the time, absolutely. I appreciate them so much, and want to express that, even if I'm a little overwhelmed and just end up saying "Thanks so much for reading!" Sometimes, however, if the comment strikes me as really negative or is trying to start some kind of debate that I don't want to get involved in, I'll just mark as read and move on.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I don't really write angsty endings! (Usually just angsty middles, and third act twists...) Probably my Veronica Mars fic, We Do Not Flinch, because even though the ending is definitely hopeful, not everything is fixed and the character death is not erased.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Um, basically all of them tbh! I love and reliably provide a happy ending. I guess I'll say Each Step Closer (On Our Way Together) because the whole thing is pretty light and the last section extra so.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Intellectually I know the answer is no. But I have gotten criticism, perhaps validly, about my portrayal of Peggy's emotions in Woman Borne, and also have gotten comments which express frustration with the choices my characters make, and that does feel hurtful in certain ways.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Ehhhhh, very, very lightly. Pretty much just gauzy linguistics and minimal mention of actual body parts - soulmate smut 🤷♀️
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
Haha, I've written a bunch of AUs that borrow from other fandoms and have a lot of fun with those, but I've only written one partially completed Buffy/Bones crossover
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
I think that some of my fics have been included in the kind of automatic sweeps that republish on fake fic sites or ebook sites, but not by an actual person as far as I know.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No, although I'd be happy to give permission if someone wanted to!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Lol, no and I can't imagine I'd be an easy writing partner 😂😬
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
Skipping because I've found that there isn't necessarily a permanence to it for me.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I don't really have WIPs that have been posted (because I know myself and that would be too stressful for me!) but the long planned out Chase/Cameron fic, or the Veronica Mars one where Wallace was a superhero, or the various ideas I've vaguely started writing within my head.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Mmmm...Occasional nice turns of phrase/unusual uses of language?
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Writing visuals or action
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
Nervous about it and probably I do it wrong, but I do it anyway 😬

I am my own biggest fic critic and also my own biggest fan, so they are all dear to me. I do have a particular love for my Steggy fic things left behind and the things that are ahead and all the characters and bits of the universe that come along with it.

1. How many works do you have on AO3?
14! One is a collection of a couple of short fics, the others are all stand-alones.
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
204,153
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Tolkien, pretty exclusively. I don't know many other fandoms well enough to be comfortable writing in them for now
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Burn Like Cold Iron takes first place for everything as my only long fic. Then How to Cope with a Middle Earth Bed Shortage, What Could Possibly Go Wrong?, Customer Service, and A Helping Hand.
5. Do you respond to comments?
Yes! There are a few here and there that slip through the cracks when I just don’t have enough spoons to reply, but I do my best!
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I write happy endings as a rule lol, so this is tough. The closest to angst might be Burn Like Cold Iron just because it will have some bittersweetness thrown in alongside the happy ending, but I definitely wouldn't call it an angsty ending.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Considering most of my fic endings are pretty equally happy, my favorite is The Floor Is Molasses, because I just want Boromir to be happy and hanging out in the Shire.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
A few times on FFN in the past. I’ve been lucky enough to avoid it almost entirely on AO3. Which is good bc it does not take much to make me cry 😂
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I have posted one (1) explicit fic and we shall NEVER SPEAK OF IT (I am easily embarrassed and it’s a miracle I posted it at all)
10. Do you write crossovers?
Nooooo, they've always intimidated me. Between all the canon characters and OCs I don't have room for anyone else!
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Oof I hope not
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No, but I would be honored!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
No, I haven’t done much more than brainstorm with fandom friends about plot points and stuff. But it sounds like fun and I hope I can cowrite something with one of my much more talented mutuals someday!!
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
I haven’t been super obsessed with a ship in years, so this is a tough question, especially since I’ve been focused on OC pairings lately. I’ve been pretty into Boromir/Theodred lately (but it’s such a tragic pairing and my poor heart can’t stand it), but hmm...my all-time favorite?? I'm a big fan of Nina and Matthias from Six of Crows, and Katniss and Peeta from the Hunger Games, and OOH Jaime and Brienne from Game of Thrones! There that's the one. All-time favorite. I did it. Phew.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I fully intend to finish my one ongoing WIP, Burn Like Cold Iron, and beyond that I really don’t want to start a fic I don’t think I’ll finish.
But I’ve written bits and pieces of a Middle Earth murder mystery I was really excited about, and I don’t have high hopes for actually fleshing that one out. I’ve never plotted out a murder mystery and would need to do some hardcore planning and plotting and scheming for it first and my brain is just not there right now XD
16. What are your writing strengths?
Aaahhh I am not good at complimenting myself (my therapist made me compliment myself last week and I almost cried lol) but I think I’ve gotten pretty good at writing engaging dialogue. I also am happy with a lot of my OCs, especially in my all-OC fic Something Burrowed, Something Blue, although I want to keep working at developing more complex characters in the future.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
My writing speed. I’m so slow. So so slow. Dear lord.
That and detailed plots and worldbuilding. Basically I need to brainstorm more before I start writing, and get a better sense for where things are going and how they'll turn out.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I could probably throw some Italian into a fic without much trouble lol. But Tolkien languages like sindarin honestly intimidate the hell out of me- I will jump through SO many hoops to avoid it. I am a coward
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Warrior cats. I was 12 and submitted it to my English teacher for extra credit. I had no shame 😂
20. Favorite fic you’ve written?
It’s probably unfair to my other fics to say Burn Like Cold Iron since it’s so much longer than everything else I’ve written. So besides that one, probably What Could Possibly Go Wrong? I had fun exploring different characters’ points of view and sprinkling in lots of foreshadowing and dramatic irony for future plot points.

2. What's your total AO3 word count?

3. What fandoms do you write for?
Mainly Untamed/MDZS, KinnPorsche now. I have written in a variety of other fandoms (Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty, Jane Austen’s Emma, Torchwood, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Game of Thrones) but mostly just Untamed and KPTS now.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Talk to Him - A KPTS fic where Tay goes to visit Big in the hospital and the nurses think they are dating so Tay just plays along.
Common People - Another KPTS fic. This one Tay starts having a fling with Jom. I sort of based it on the song "Common People" by Pulp.
Never Have I Ever - KPTS - It's so funny to me that this is so high because it is a short little one shot that I wrote in one sitting. Basically, Tankhun press gangs some of his friends into playing the drinking game Never Have I Ever.
I'm Ready to Suffer, I'm Ready to Hope - The first KPTS fic I ever wrote. It's a Big/Chan fix it.
Give Me One Good Movie Kiss and I'll be Alright - KPTS again - Big/Chan post canon getting together.
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
DEFINITELY. I am here for the community and all the friends I have made in fandom have been through commenting on their fics or them commenting on my fics. This seems even more important now that twitter is well what twitter is these days.
6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Hmmm I am a happy ending type of gal but I guess The Loves of Ianto Jones (Torchwood) ends with a bit of angst. I always meant to write a sequel, I started writing it, but then I kind of left the Torchwood fandom.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I guess like they all have happy endings but I think maybe When A Young Cultivator is Happiest (Untamed) because that was meant to be the last fic in my Wen Ning/ Ouyang Zizhen series (I wrote a little post script for Wen Ning's birthday this year) so it wraps everything up and ends with three pairs of characters getting married.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
I have gotten some hate on my Game of Thrones fics and once on a ZhuLiuHai rpf but generally I am not at all popular enough to get hate - thank goodness!!
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Lol like okay I think that I write incredibly sentimental stories about really nice people who are super shy but find each other. And then once they do they bang the shit out of each other in an incredibly graphic sex scene that in no way fits with the rest of tone of the fic.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
I love crossovers! I don't know that I've written any crazy ones. So I will link to my favourite all time crossover the These Rainy Hearts series in which John Hart from Torchwood randomly meets Ethan Rayne from Buffy and after Ethan mistakes John for Spike, they hook up and fall in love. The subsequent fics brought in more Buffy and Torchwood characters and the last fic even included cameos from characters from What We Do in the Shadows. I don't really write Torchwood any more but I have thought of writing a fourth in this series which would include both Untamed and KPTS characters.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I know of?
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
YES! Tragically my friend Serpens Caput on AO3 doesn't write fic anymore so we can't continue our ridiculous jokey RPF series The Untaming of the Crew - about the poor put-upon crew on the set of the Untamed.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship?
I have a lot of love for Tay/Big (KPTS) but the ship that I always come back to is my beloved Wen Ning/Ouyang Zizhen.
15. What's a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
I started a sequel to my Untamed fic I"ve Been to Koi Tower, But I've Never Been to Me and it just got so unwieldy and had so many characters and so much plot that I just gave up. I want to finish it but I doubt I will. It was going to be called "Don't Cry for Me Jinlintai".
16. What are your writing strengths?
This is so hard for me to answer. I guess I am occasionally funny?
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
So many - writing description of scenery. Having my characters do anything but just stand there whilst talking. Inability to use a comma properly. Writing smut.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I am only fluent in one language. But I have written in the description that the character says something in English (when the rest of the dialogue is assumed to be in Thai) which comes up any time I have written Vegas or Ken for KPTS since they often throw in English words.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
I don't know if this counts because I have never posted it anywhere but I saw the trailer for the film The Eagle and wrote this whole fic in my head without ever seeing the movie. I eventually wrote it down on paper. I did eventually also see the movie and I mean I was way off but whatever. But I guess the first fandom I wrote for that I posted was Game of Thrones.
20. Favorite fic you've written?
AAAA!! That's so hard to pick!!! I generally like most of my fics. I can't pick one. So here's 3:
From Torchwood - From Out of the Pain - A fix it involving film archiving.
From Untamed - Tentacles Lift Us Up Where We Belong - just because it's such a ME idea - Wen Ning's black veins are actually tentacles - canonical monster fucker Ouyang Zizhen is MORE than okay with that.
From KPTS - What if We Kissed in a Farmhouse Bread Factory? - I love that I put as many references to Farmhouse bread in this as I could and I also love the pairing - Pol / Chan because it's so improbable but I think it really works

//I just wanted to say, back in my Black Butler days (Which was WAY back like 2009-2019) I used to be a HUGE fan of Ash/Angela in particular, they were my first muse and for that, they still hold an EXTREMELY special place in my heart and sometimes I honestly kinda wanna go back to writing them lol
//They were my favourite chracter, and Alois is/was a close second, I wrote cringey fanfic, had based and created a whole OC off a kinda "Combination" of them who I still use today, and also RPed him for a time back on a few ancient forums and Google+ when that was a thing still (I'm ancient lmao)
//but overall the former ESPECIALLY barely had ever gotten any content - especially good, genuine content made from love rather than half spite "Look at this asshole" - and putting aside my surprise that the Black Butler fandom is still alive and kicking, i just stumbled across your blog and while I'm not sure entirely what Christlois is about (Please do feel free to give an explanation!) I just wanna say, a combination of my favourite things from my Black Butler days: Being Ash/Angela, Alois, THAT SEASON ONE AND TWO GET SOME ATTENTION, SERIOUSLY THEYRE STILL SO FUCKING GOOD!!!! ill be honest the direction it took with season three onwards kinda was a part of why i fell out of love with the series and just the existence of catholicism/priest aesthetics as a whole lmao)
//For the longest time the memory of the Black Butler fandom had left a VERY bitter taste in my mouth since being around in it's heyday as an Ash/Angela RPer was certainly an experience lol, but just looking through your blog, though I don't exactly know what it's about, is such a sweet taste of nostalgia that while I don't exactly find myself missing the community, I miss the characters and story established by the first two seasons greatly. :,) It's kinda odd to say but I was almost certain that Ash/Angela would just fade into obscurity with offhand mentions at best, no one to love and care for them, and so glad to see that someone is caring for them where I couldn't anymore!

Where do I even begin? First of all THANK YOU!! I love these angels so bad, and YOU understand. They're a fascinating evil and a very interesting character concept. It's really cool that you roleplayed with them and I bet you had a ton of interesting headcanons and developments, more so than we got from the show! Because the thing is there is not a character as neglected by the fandom and the media as Ash and Angela. For their presence in Season 1, they are never talked about...
And that's not fair! They're so fascinating!! And thank you so much for the ask, genuinely, lenght doesn't bother me at all, and it's nice my mildly sacreligious blog brought some feeling of nostalgia.

So Christlois is basically the universe of one specific fic, that being this one , written by me and co-written by @eemoo1o . It's basically a story about Alois turning his back on Claude and instead being swayed to Ash's side, becoming Ash's little puppet as opposed to Queen Victoria. It's mythological, theological, philosophical, and also really really disturbing JFJKSDF there's sebaclaude, sebastian being ciel's weird dad, alois being in-characteredly toyed with (poor boy), and ashgela being a total bastard.

Peak behind the fic writing curtains time because I’m re-reading my notes for As Above and thinking about it lol.
So fun fact about the tapes! I wrote a draft for Wilbur’s tapes before I properly finished outlining Tommy’s perspective. I was kinda struggling to piece together Tommy’s story and I needed Wilbur’s outlined first and well… What this means is that I wrote the tapes in order of events, not in the “random” order Tommy found them.
I thought it’d be fun to share that order with y’all, plus it offers a bit of a new perspective on the events of As Above. I put it under the cut because it does contain spoilers for As Above So Below, just in case :)
Also for extra funsies, idk if it’s possible but since there is an order you might be able to figure it out on your own. So if your ARG brain is tingling then feel free to have fun with this, the answers are below. Just note some early tapes got skipped because they were just Wilbur reading notes to the open air which isn’t fun to read or write.
Without further ado this is the order I wrote Wilbur’s story in (along with brief summaries of each tape cos fuck! even I forget what I wrote sometimes lol)
1a - technical difficulties.
Wilbur’s introduction, both to himself his work and everything wrong with Lostfield
1b - unnamed interview 2.0
Wilbur’s interview with an unnamed resident at Lostfield, who we know is Ranboo! Wilbur learns very little information here, just makes Ranboo freak out!
2b- another unhelpful anecdote
Wilbur’s rather unhelpful interview with Technoblade, where he receives a nice long list of missing persons who just happened to show up on Lostfield.
3b - possible progress
(fun fact I nearly called this one research and crimes… probably should have tbh, it’s funnier) Wilbur gives an update on some of his personal findings about Techno’s research, and explains his plans to sneak into Lostfield and speak to the owner himself.
4a - interview with the owner
Wilbur does a little house tour and speaks to the owner of Lostfield AKA Dream. Their interview gets weird quickly and Wilbur feels like he’s panicking / losing control of himself.
4b - untitled (ch10)
Wilbur starts recording because he’s just woken up from his visit to Lostfield and he barely remembers what happened.
5a - if I don’t make it
Wilbur decides he needs to go back to Lostfield, he records a note for himself — or whoever finds the tape — incase he doesn’t make it back this time.
7a - courtesy of Lostfield apartments
Tapes that Wilbur is later given (mentioned in 6b goodbye) that detail his experience in Lostfield. The first tape is Wilbur talking to a voice that we cannot “hear”
7b - untitled (first half of ch12)
Dream’s mock-interview with Ranboo for Wilbur. Basically a repeat of 1b unnamed interview 2.0 but Ranboo actually gives answers this time.
5b - don’t go back
Wilbur, or something pretending to be Wilbur, starts recording the follow up for 5a before letting the real Wilbur wake up and have a full blown panic attack
6a - the last 3 days
Wilbur summarises what little he remembers from the 3 days he spent in Lostfield, mostly a recap of how he broke into Lostfield.
6b - goodbye
Wilbur recives a package containing a tape (7a and 7b) and he comes to the conclusion he’s in too deep and can’t escape. He uses this tape to say his final goodbyes
8a - untitled (second half of ch12)
Wilbur breaks into Lostfield with the tape recorder in hand. He gives some live insight as to what is down there before he spots something in the middle of the room and Dream appears.

oh man i had so much fun with brainstorming this stuff back when i made Our Love Is Here To Stay. will constantly be referring back to this fic as i talk about them
Will - I made him kinda showboaty and full of himself in my fic lol, but also i feel like that's kinda true about his character, from what i remember off the top of my head. Also weird vibes. Like, once, when I was a teen, I think I dreamt that he had a crush on me and wanted me to date him instead of Lance? So I kiiiiiindaaa very subtly snuck that into the background lore of the fic. I think Riya was the only one I've told that to so far, outside of whenever I probably posted that on my devart journal when it first happened lol?. Basically, he's just Lance's coworker to me.
Bruno - Love this guy, or well, the way he came out in the fic. Basically kinda borrowed a smidge from pokemas' direction with his character, but also the idea that he's also one of those cheerful loudboxes with how often he shouts HOO-HAH! or something :p Canonically, I don't think he'd be as big of a softie as I wound up writing him, but it was too funny not to think about him being like that. He's always very nice and sweet with me and greets everyone loudly. He was also the one who won all the betting pools on when Lance and I would date/propose/etc. Everyone overthought it, he just synthesized gossip info from the pokecen/league employees. He's kinda like that boisterous loud uncle who would also get very serious if someone tried to hurt you? But mostly we just enjoy having Pokemon battles together a lot and sometimes he shares his food with me if I'm waiting for Lance at the Pokemon League.
Karen - I love Karen!!!! I forget where the hell I got the idea that she was canonically a model/fashionista of some sort, but you can't tell me that's a wrong headcanon to have. She's that work bestie-in-law kinda thing except it's my husband's work but my bestie when i go there. She'll share devious little secrets about Lance with me, especially in the early/dating years, though by now there's less she could share that I wouldn't already know/believe. She still tells me when he's done something embarrassing (for him) and then I get to just later be like "So, honey... about <redacted event>?" "I really wish Karen didn't catch that =_="
When Lance and I were first dating/almost dating, she was very supportive and helpful for basic dating/beauty/appearance tips. c: She also sometimes envies us, because she hasn't had a lot of long-term relationships that worked out because of her position/goals/life ambitions and beliefs.
Koga - embarassing old man co-worker that you tease your husband about him becoming. Koga and I have battled enough, from when he was originally a Gym Leader and again after his promotion to the E4, that he respects me as a Pokemon Trainer. But it took awhile for him to start seeing me as a grown-up adult from when I most battled him as a kid and teen. We have a fairly amicable relationship overall, as far as the coworker vs coworker's wife dynamic goes. He's this cool but sometimes embarrassingly out of touch old guy I know and I'm some person who can help translate his teenage daughter's mysterious ways!
Thank you so much for asking about them! I absolutely love getting to talk about them whenever I can on a meta level bc of the fic I wrote, bc I went from being like "yeah sure they're characters may as well include them" to "this is my husband's squad of coworkers and everyone in this group is embarrassing to each other in some way shape or form."

a TLOUS TMNT fic you say? 👀👀
yes! it's a little bit of a rewrite of a fic i wrote waaaay back in 2016. basically a human au where they get caught up in a zombie apocalypse (except this time it's somewhat inspired by the last of us lol)
but here's some non-spoilery info about it for anyone that is interested (plus talking about it is fun and inspires me to actually write it lol)
the zombie virus is based off cwd which is a real disease mostly found in deer. (i did some excessive googling so expect a bit of an info dump here) so cwd stands for chronic wasting disease where basically the deer, or elk or moose get this disease where misfolded protein is built up in the body and spreads to the brain, resulting in the body wasting away quicker than the brain. and that is essentially spread by saliva or blood or poo transmission, and the symptoms for this are: 'behavioral changes, weight loss, decreased interactions with other animals, tremors, repetitive walking in set patterns, increased drinking and urination, excessive salivation and grinding of the teeth, loss of fear of humans and confusion' but much like tlou there's a mutation and now suddenly it's being spread to humans but instead of it being fatal (like it is irl) people are just wasting away with this disease but not dying hence: zombie apocalypse baby. i came up with this all by myself please pat me on the back because i am USELESS at actual lore and backstory in my writing lol but yeah i imagine that it spreads to other livestock and then people eat that livestock and yeah. there you have it.
mikey and leo are biological half brothers and donnie and raph are biological twins (sorry to break apart the disaster twins like this but dee and raph are The Most Twins Ever in my heart forever and ever and it's been that way since 2003) but yeah the four of them aren't *technically* blood related brothers but they're close enough to act like brothers :)
april + casey are also in this au. it actually takes place at the farmhouse (cos the farmhouse arcs in 2003 and 2012 are so special to me) PLUS as well as it being a tlou inspo its also a twd inspo cos twd ALSO has a special place in my heart and season 2 is good TO ME at least. and also the working title atm is a slight iteration of a twd episode title: tell it to the frogs (i'll give you one guess as to which word i change in that lol)
mikey is 12, donnie + raph are 17 and leo is 20 just cos age gaps in any tmnt fic make me happy. rottmnt is forever in high ranks for giving me canon eldest, middle and baby siblings <33
so the main fic will either be just a CHUNK of a fic where it'll be a cool few thousand words (or i might break it into chapters if it gets too crazy) but then i'll hopefully be able to write a few more surrounding fics that spin off from the main story cos yeah zombies are cool but i just LOVE soft apocalypse stories. the slow rebuilding of society. the growing vegetable patches in your back yard. the rebirth of community. that's the good shit i wanna write when im done with this fic (mostly cos i suck absolute farts at fast paced thriller type fics and that is why its taking me so long to finish)

i wrote a fic anonymously which is horrendously dark and doesnt have a happy ending but I think most other fics i write at least have a bittersweet or happy ending hdfgb

uhhhhhh i dunno man I like the ending of the fic i wrote where goemon threatens to cut one of jigen's exes' dicks off and then they go hang out by the pool. that was fun :)

not really, I've had a few ideas for them but they're hard to write and wouldnt have worked out
8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?
not... really? i got a really weird backhanded compliment where someone talked at length about a ship i dont like (the fic wasnt about that couple) then said the first chapter was alright apart from being painfully slow (thanks) and then accused me of virtue signalling because of the difficult topics i handled in the fic.
It was really, really strange like I genuinely think they were trying to pay me a compliment but they were incredibly shit at it lol
And then in another fic I turned off comments because a minor started bitching at me about the porn I wrote not being sexy enough and when I told them to go away they harassed me for a little while. That was fun.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Yeas. I prefer it when smut is incorporated into the story because I kind of need the emotional stakes to be high enough otherwise I kind of lose interest. Smut without feelings is just kinda boring to me. Of course I have some exceptions but those are rare nowadays.
10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I'm aware of.
11. Have you ever had a fic translated?
yes, though it's on wattpad apparently so I have no idea if the person doing it credited me because I dont use that site lol.
12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
yeah and I dont recommend it. we only wrote like 2 chapters of it but i no longer speak to the co-author and the whole thing ended up feeling a bit disjointed and weird.
13. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
Uhh I have a couple, zoro/luffy, ace/sanji, jigen/lupin and jigen/goemon
zolu probably wins here because i have not so far written a 200k fic about anyone else lol

I don't know whether its bad or just handled badly by a lot of writers but I don't like it. Speaking as someone whos been learning japanese for the past 2+ years I hate it when I come across a word and have to either look it up myself or scroll to the bottom of the fic for any footnotes there are to explain it. Gonna use myself as an example for how I go about this kind of thing:
Fujiko tries to smile at his robotic, overly formal speech patterns, when really it's a little off-putting. She hasn't heard anyone use the word sessha, 'my humble self', for themselves outside of a period drama.
each to their own but i prefer putting in a small aside like this rather than shoving in foreign words and expecting for the reader to go and break the flow of the writing by looking it up for themselves.

id say pokemon mystery dungeon but the first fic i wrote i instantly deleted after getting one negative comment, i think one piece is more where i cut my teeth

yes!!!! i always make a point to respond :) i don’t really get that many comments on my fics so i always want to show some appreciation for the people that do take time to write something!!
6. what is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
i guess lost? but the thing is i don't really like to write pure angst. most of the angst i write has a happy ending so by definition, that's probably the only fic i've written that has an angsty ending
7. what’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
hmm see this is difficult when most of my fics have a happy ending and i think it's a little subjective which one is the happiest. but maybe sweet, sweet bliss since it's basically just pure fluff?
8. do you get hate on fics?
thankfully not, although i did get a slightly weird comment a couple months ago that i THINK was trying to jokingly tease me about how the characters were being ooc bc phoenix never gave edgeworth a blowjob in the games. and then they ended the comment with “but good job writing a story.” the problem is i did not know the person and so it did not really feel like much of a joke and it just. idk it felt very weird so i ended up deleting it

i only recently started posting smut. i still feel a little awkward about it bc both times it’s been pwp, and with that it’s just like. yeah here’s two guys fucking. that’s it. but maybe that’s just the ace in me talking and feeling kinda weird about it gjsjfjdjfjdf

normally no i do not, but i started talking about which pokemon some of the ace attorney characters would have with a friend. and from there we started talking about so many headcanons that i started writing something for that universe bc i was inspired, but i honestly haven't touched it in a few months bc i got distracted writing other things lol

yes!!!! again this goes back to my fics i wrote as a kid (so back when i was still on wattpad), but a few people translated my fics into other languages. the only one i can remember specifically was it was translated into turkish, but i remember there being other ones as well

i have not! and i think that’s just bc i write roleplays with people instead

i think i’m a pretty concise writer, since i write how i think most people would speak. if that makes sense? my answer in the next question kinda gets into that, but i think i’m just not really someone who goes super artistic with my writing

i think i’m not the best at writing prose. like, i’m not great with using very flowery, poetic kinda language or vocabulary. i struggle with that a lot. also, i can’t really write long fics, or even multi chapter fics. i just do not have the energy or motivation to do either one lol so that’s why all my fics are one shots
18. thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
i try to do it as little as possible bc i only know english, so i have to turn to google translate. and even then i try to stick to only pet names and other terms of endearment, so it’s not like i’m even really writing full sentences or anything in another language

20. favorite fic you’ve written?
honestly it's so hard to choose but maybe blinding lights! i'm pretty sure it was the most excited i've ever been to write a fic, but i also recall really enjoying the setting of a cold night in ikea and being able to write that :) that one was the first time i had written fan fic since i was in high school, and it made me fall in love with writing again

122 🎵 I’ve orphaned and deleted a few along the years, though.
What fandoms do you write for?
Uhhhh. Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint (ORV), Boboiboy, Jujutsu Kaisen and more. Currently really, really fixated on One Piece though I haven’t written fic yet, but am cooking so much toxic doomed brothers food (Donquixote Bros)

Vis la goddamn DSMP phase always going to be my biggest mark in the world. Excluding discontinued fics and stuff I’m not happy with anymore for now…

I’ll call out your name, but you won’t call back. This is an ORV fic, doomed Doksoo (beloved) and since it’s canon compliant… yeah. ‘Twas full of angst that came from love.

The deep blue of summer nights. This was a cute ORV fic born of me wanting to write Secretive Plotter’s birthday being celebrated by ABFD, SWK and Uriel! They’re my fav rare dynamic

I think the closest I got was some discourse on my DSMP fic? To be expected, and it was cleared up soon enough!

I did like years ago lmao, tucked into the depths of the internet. Definitely not on main, for this is a family friendly account sir. It was fun in a way but also I hated writing it most of the time??? More of a reader than a writer I would say. As for what kind… while, I wrote what I liked ☆

My Kudos stats are a bit skewed because I got hit by the Kudosbot on three separate occasions. That being said, here is the list according to AO3 (I will mark which ones have false numbers)
Yu-Gi-Oh: Tangled Web of Fate (incorrect numbers 🚫) (it hurts me the most on this particular fic because it’s my ongoing baby 😭)

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I try to respond to all comments, though sometimes I see one while I’m busy with something else and forget to come back to it later.
I promise if I don’t respond, it’s usually because of this and by the time I remember, anxiety brain tells me it’s outside of the acceptable timeframe to post a response. I know that’s not true, but anxiety wins 99% of the time in this situation.
6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Everyone that’s read my fics knows how much I love angst. That being said, I can’t end them that way. The closest I think I’ve come to an angsty ending is the way some of the chapters end in Our Scars remind Us that the Past was Real.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I want to say either The things we do for Love or Crazy for You.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not hate. The closest I’ve gotten is a ‘negative review via bookmark comment’. I’ve learned to just ignore that particular bookmark.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I made the attempt with Task Failed Successfully. I have realized that it’s not my thing writing-wise (but I still love to read it lol)
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
Not yet, though I do have a few in my Rabbit Hutch (what I call my bunny docs).
One is pure crack insanity that is basically a 4th wall breaking parody of Dragon Age Origins with the Yugioh DM cast as the main characters.
The other is a bit more serious and is set in the World of Warcraft universe with the Yugioh DM cast as the main characters.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
I had one copied and posted without my consent on another platform (it still listed me as the Author though). I filed a petition to have it removed, and while it still shows up in the search results on that platform, when you click the link it states that the fic was removed.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Not yet.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
No, and at one time I wouldn’t even consider it. Now I would, but I would be selective to people whose writing styles I am very familiar with.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship?
I don’t have just one. The following are all on equal ground:

Gemshipping
Conspireshipping
I’m also a huge fan of the Dark/Caste/Hateshipping (it’s complicated so I just include all the variations) I have building in my longfic. I love putting those two idiots into situations.
15. What's a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
Probably one of the ones in my Rabbit Hutch that I already know will be longfics. I want to finish my current longfic before I try to tackle any of the others.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Hmmm…I want to say being descriptive? Like, the part where you paint the scene and feelings using words…if that makes sense.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Writing from a character perspective that I don’t click with. It’s not that I don’t like the character, I just find myself having a hard time getting into their mindset. * cough* Yugi * cough *
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I have done this for a few parts of my longfic, and when I say I go to great lengths of research to make sure it’s right, I mean it. I usually write the English spelling equivalent for Arabic, and for Gaelic I tend to write some of it from a phonetic perspective (I put that in the A/N at the end if it’s phonetic). Foreign language dialogue is something I primarily use to express intimate declarations (like ‘ana bahebik’).
19. First fandom you wrote for?
I’ve only written for one fandom at this point, and that’s Yugioh DM
20. Favorite fic you've written?
Oh wow. I love all of my fics to some degree, but if I had to choose one to be my fave…probably White Lady.
The comments I’ve received on it helped boost my confidence in my writing back during a time when I was really starting to doubt my writing ability. Sometimes when I need a confidence reminder, I go back and reread it and then look over all the wonderful comments.

!!! anon, u and me both. so the james returns one is a bit of a weird one bc it’s in two parts—the first is something i started & abandoned years ago (in 2017, i think) that i reread recently and realised set up a v good base for what i wanted, and something more recent. the two parts are connected yet, and it’s a v abstract concept and i’m paying around w ideas of romantic/qpp prongsfoot as well. for that reason, i’ll choose to give a snippet for the jilypad one (also bc i’m v excited ab that and i’m so happy u asked bc i was just waiting for *someone* to hehehe)
okay so. the jilypad fic is a social media, youtube video format fic based off this one ‘best friend vs wife’ video i love. basically, lily & sirius are always fighting over who’s the ‘true wife’ (tongue in cheek use of the term, mind) and they conduct a proper competition to find out who can win the title once and for all. it’s super fun and i wrote a large chunk of it months ago and i just need to finish it up lol here’s one of my fav bits from it!!

Lily and Sirius are sitting on opposite ends of a four seater table—comically competitive looks on their faces—James squarely in the center, facing the camera head on. He has a pinstriped blazer over his plain tee, along with a tie that has, on further inspection, tiny broomsticks dotted along its length. It’s an—interesting sartorial decision. In front of him is an unplugged mic- bright, glittery purple in color. He doesn’t seem to show any signs of self-consciousness.
“Alright then. We have our contestants and the equipment ready,” James gestures towards the two who’ve now moved on to glaring at each other. Lily is in the middle of an ‘index-finger-across-the-throat’ action. At James’ words, both of them, without breaking eye contact, hold up their whiteboards and dry erase markers—pink for Lily, blue for Sirius.
“Er- great,” James claps his hands together, slightly too loudly. He’s eyeing his ‘wives’ warily, perhaps realising this might not be the best idea. The first clink of realisation, if you will.
“First question,” he says after a second, mic firmly in hand. “We’re starting off super easy, setting the stage, you know the deal. What is my favorite color?”
Immediately, Sirius and Lily scribbled in sync on their whiteboard. Five seconds in and both of them are finished. One final look for confirmation and the first round is kicked off by both of them raising their boards high.
GOLDEN, says Lily’s.
GOLD (Because you’re a chump), is Sirius’ contribution.
James swats at the back of his head with the shimmering mic.
“That’s one point for each of you. I must say, I would have been disappointed if it wasn’t.” He places a Hershey’s kiss on each side of the table and looks up with a wink. “Kisses for every correct answer.”
“Oh my god, Jamie,” Sirius groans, lightly slamming his head against the table. “We’re already participating in a visual representation of your ego. Don’t tell me the sleaziness will be included in that.”
James immediately makes an offended squawk while Lily snorts, raising her hand for a high five. As Sirius reciprocates, there’s a ‘Ting’ sound on the screen with the words ‘Co-Wives Solidarity Hours’.

2. talk about a notable time a narrative or character has looked you dead in the eyes and said “fuck your plan, here’s what we’re actually doing.”
oh lol. basically the first half of chapter 4 of camp counselors. originally it was like. will is kind of sad and tries to talk to the other counselors and try to get to know them better instead of just nico and then will was like. haha no. i think i will consume some weed gummies and then have a panic attack on the floor <3 and literally i could not stop him. every word that i wrote was ripped from my little fingers and forced itself onto the page <3 after that tho the fic continued on like. perfectly as planned lol
3. on a scale of 1-10 how much do you enjoy incorporating romance into the average story?
252 fics. they’re all romance bestie <3 literally the only fics that dont include romance as the main plot are my diary entry fics and 9 times out of 10 those still include some sort of like. interaction with a significant other or at least mention of one. i can think of One fic off the top of my head that is not romance-based in any way shape or form lol. so to answer ur question uhhhh 11 <3
21. pick a writer to co-write a book with and tell us what you’d write about.
i do not think i would choose to write a book! i dont think i have the like. descriptive abilities required for book writing BUT i Do think i can more easily get my Vision (tm) across more clearly through like. script writing. (bc i literally went to college for like. on-stage script writing but also we touched on video writing - plus i took a tv directing class that i hated <3 ). i have briefly talked to @ethannku about this so i think they would be a fun writing partner!! idk what we would write about <3 recently ive been dabbling in taking some scenes from fics that ive just been like. practicing the format with <3
32. do characters influence your writing style?
oh 100% and i think this is very clear across different installments of no love. at least i hope so anyway!! i feel like the few installments in lou’s pov had a much different energy than the nico and will installments. i also try very hard to make the will and nico povs different from each other bc i have a deep fear of what is essentially same face syndrome but for every character just being the same exact person, just with a different name
