Hate is a familiar word, ever the old friend. Strong and heavy. It's what fuels him and keeps him going – his strength, both a blessing and a curse. Hate, hate, hate. Ghost hates you; you drive him to hell and back with your word until the thin line between hospitality and hostility blurs and he steps over the other.
There's an old red monster that constantly crawls under his skin, corrupting his brain and his heart. Hatred consumes him at the sight of you. Ghost hates you. At least that's what he thinks.
Fleeting gazes are mistaken for heated glares, tensed jaw an unbreakable habit. There's a fire in his loins when your eye catches his at the right time. Ghost's heart speeds up because you make his blood pressure rise. His guts are twisted and turned to your accommodation without knowing, you're in his thoughts constantly because you're so awful.
Love and hate is black and white, color him blind. There's a fine line between the opposites, and he's ambivalent about you.
Of course he respects you; you're his teammate, – a remarkable one, at that – and he will trust you with his life and his heart in your hands, but as much as possible, he would prefer not having to.
Maybe ye're just no' inta women, LT. It's not that he hasn't considered it; can't help that he stares a little too long at anyone with bright blue eyes as engrossing as— Fuckin' 'ell, Johnny. Or perhaps his own were too dull, too icy, too bland. He lacked his sergeant's passion for nearly everything. A'm just pullin' yer leg.
Oh, but how Simon loves you.
Simon is familiar to you the same way the desert is familiar with the scorching heat of the sun, and despite how it warms you, kisses and burns and scars you, you miss every bit of it – the way he hurts you comfortingly. Loving him feels like snow meeting sand, – unfamiliar and impossible – but if snow can fall on the hottest desert, then who are you to be exempt?
Acknowledging the difference between love and hate is one, admitting that he doesn't feel the other way for you is another. It's not love; you're just part of the team. He repeats the mantra when his fist collides with the face of a man who made the mistake of touching you despite your lack of consent.
Your knuckles are split, sir. He repeats it to himself again when he's forced to sit with his thigh pressed to yours and feels the warmth of your skin against his. I can take care of m'self next time, Ghost.
I know, kid. It's not love. Not when he hushes you instead of yelling and barking orders at you as you bleed out on the floor of the warehouse. "Ghost," you plead for your life, weeping and gasping for air. Your voice breaks. His heart does, too. "I know, lovie. I know." It's not love. Not when he carries you singlehandedly in and out of the chopper, rushing to the medical ward before you can even lose consciousness. Not when he tends to the knife on your side before the bullet in his.
"Sure, the lieutenant isn't much for words, but the way he looks at you..." The knowledgeable (or maybe she just likes gossip) nurse trails off, searching for the right words in the back of her mind. "It's like there's no one else in the world but you – no, actually, he looks at you as if you're the world itself – he looks at you like a god, his. In a way that guarantees anyone that he'd live and repeat the horrors of this life in his next, just for you. And I've never seen him look at anyone like.. that. But now, I see him looking at you. Everyday."
She smiles at you, kind enough to continue. "Don't you think you deserve that kind of dedication? The kind that makes you feel like you're the center of someone's universe?"
You find yourself stunned by her words, your lips parting in the slightest manner. Speechless. She finds more words in your silence. "'Cause I think you do. You do deserve that," she smiles at you knowingly, as if she'd read your fate – as if the stars had told her all there is to know, "and something tells me he could give you exactly that." She's sure of it.
But Simon is only the ghost of a Ghost. He's fleeting, a glance, a graze, and a kiss.
Too early, too much, not enough, too late. He'd used up every excuse like a box of tissues until he had none, until he'd been left high and dry, until he had no choice but to admit it: he's in love with you in a way that is looked down upon. Desperately, longingly, and horribly so.
If your love was a noose, then Simon is a suicidal man. He wants your love to dig into the skin of his neck, and please take his breath away.
The image of you leaving was embedded into his brain, the same way he had burned the image of you into his mind long ago. His tongue dries with the words and pleads of love, but he thinks he doesn't. So he doesn't. He wants to call out to you – say something that might cause you to pause and turn around, maybe take him with you – but the words don't come, and you leave, taking his heart with you.
There's a longing that aches beneath his chest, an empty space.
All of the words in the world will not change the reality that he pushed himself into. Life has moved on without the two of you. He has so many things to tell you, but now is not the time.
He calls for your name.
Your breath hitches at his voice before you speak, "good night, lieutenant." You open a barrier between you and him just as you open the door, taking a step out of the seemingly unlived small apartment. His chest is unmoving as an unfamiliar feeling shoots through his veins. He should say something, anything. Say something, bastard.
With lowered pride, his mouth opens just a second too late. He hears the door click shut.
It never will be.

The One You Need | four

This was new for Joel. When you’d dodged him for nearly a month after he’d put your bed together, he just figured that was the action of a new neighbor from the west coast. He never figured you’d waltz your way back in with your faulty refrigerator. But this wasn’t that. This was post-sex when you all but fled his home. And for having told him one night stands weren’t your style, he thought you were doing a mighty fine job of making them your style.
It had been three days since that night and he hadn’t heard a peep. Not a check in, drive by, or walk through. It was as if your presence in the neighborhood had been a figment of his imagination. The only reason he knew it was real was because he was missing one of his shirts – the one you’d left in. And for three days hadn’t even done as much as slingshot it back to him or send by way of carrier pigeon. The amount of times in the past three days he thought he’d walk over and ask for, or demand, an explanation surpassed the amount of digits on his hands. But every time he talked himself out of it, telling himself all you needed was time.
But time only brought you one thing. A boy. In some automatic, foreign car. He rolled up the night of that third day and stepped out in a well-pressed black suit. Joel wasn’t spying, no… he just happened to mosey out to the porch and saw it all happening. He even witnessed you leave your house in a long red dress. Saw you descend the porch with this new boy, how he opened up the passenger door for you, and how you ducked into it. As that foreign car drove away, Joel turned and punched the post by his porch steps. The post was left unaffected. Joel’s hand, however, throbbed for the next three hours.
✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿
Staying out of Joel’s space had been intentional but the date had not been. This guy; he was a friend of a friend of a third cousin and he popped up out of nowhere. You hadn’t even really wanted to go out at all, let alone on some random date. But when you were shown a picture of the guy, he was… cute. He looked like the type of guy you normally let ruin your life, so ultimately you agreed. You hoped and prayed that Joel didn’t see you leave with this guy. And you spent the rest of the evening hoping and praying Joel would forgive you if he had. This wasn’t how you wanted it to go. The plan wasn’t to bed your neighbor and then leave him on the curb like trash. The plan wasn’t even to sleep with him, but given that you had, the rules to the game had changed so quickly.
And Chad… Brad… whatever the hell his name was, he was just… what you expected he’d be. He was attractive and he knew it, but he had nothing on Joel and he had no idea. He had blonde hair cut into a neat and tidy style but it had no story. Joel’s unkempt graying curls told you of his age and the unwillingness to burden his life with things as menial as primping himself. This guy had bright blue eyes, but they didn’t leave you searching their depths for the meaning of life like Joel’s had. Clean-shaven, baby-faced, uncalloused hands… There were any number of things that he was that Joel wasn’t, and staying present in the moment with him proved to be a challenge when you hadn’t even processed everything about Joel yet.
When the date finally ended, and you were escorted home, you peeked over at Joel’s house, wondering if you’d see him out on his porch, strumming his guitar. You hoped not. Please, on everything that is holy, don’t let him be out there. And when you couldn’t quite tell if he was or not, you decided to count your lucky stars and work with the assumption that benefited you most.
Chad… Brad… walked you up to your door and stood eerily close to you while your back was to him, unlocking it. Heat radiated off of him, and unlike the heat that came from Joel, you didn’t quite like how this one felt against you. Door unlocked but foregoing opening it just yet, you pivoted in a tight circle so as to not brush up against him as you faced him.
“I had a good time tonight, thank you,” you murmured, staring at his face to get a read on if he was going to lean in for a kiss you were going to have to dodge.
“Y’know, I didn’t get to see your place when I first got here,” he said as if that were a totally normal thing for him to have done. “Maybe you can give me a tour,” he reached around you and went for the handle.
You pushed against his arm with your hip before he could get his thumb on the latch, “maybe another time.”
“You’re gonna cut the night short?” he smirked and closed the practically imperceptible gap that was between you anyway.
Trying to back up, but running out of room as your back hit the door, “yeah, I’ve got an early morning.”
“What I want won’t take very long,” he leaned his hips forward, pressing them up against yours where it was oh so very clear he was sporting a semi. “C’mon, I bought you a fancy dinner, the least you could do is put out,” he still reached around you and pressed on the latch, nudging open your front door.
“Hey bud,”
Your heart dropped into your stomach. Panic. Or was it relief? And managed to escape from Brad’s (or was it Chad?) hips, tugging your door shut again as you side-stepped away. He turned around and found Joel, climbing the porch steps coolly.
“I think you should leave,” Joel said, resting his hands on his hips. He even smiled at his suggestion.
“Who are you?” Your date asked and looked back in your direction as if he’d be able to grab you again, but you’d already moved to the side.
Joel flicked his eyes at you as if inspecting to see if any hurt had been done, then looked back at the would-be suitor. “Doesn’t matter, I think it’s time you got outta here,”
“Dude, she was just inviting me in,”
“Dude, no she wasn’t. I don’t wanna have to call the cops, just get goin’,”
Your date chuckled incredulously. He turned to you with what looked like mild fury in his eyes, “your pussy’s not worth all this.”
You nodded in agreement, “it definitely is not.”
Joel waited until he was gone – watched him all the way to his car, and until it took off down the street, before he looked back at you. You’d already made it back to your front door and were backing into it, leaning against the frame.
“Thanks,”
He nodded once and turned. Then over his shoulder, “your pussy is worth it.”
You laughed and shook your head, “thanks!”
Back, safe and sound in your house, you locked the front door right away and carried on through the rooms, first into the kitchen to grab a glass of water, then back toward your bedroom. There was a brief thought about how Joel must’ve been outside when you’d arrived back home, and now there were new lucky stars to thank. But that thought was pushed aside when you glanced into the den as you passed it and it made your heart stop. It was the only room left to be unpacked. You’d eventually use it as an office, but right now it was just a handful of cardboard boxes and pictures that hadn’t been hung yet. But the mess wasn’t what gave you pause. It was that it was the room with your back door, and that door was currently wide open.
You ran back through the house, set your glass of water on something, and bolted back through the front door. “Joel! Joel!”
He was gathering his things from the porch, getting ready to go inside when he’d heard your panicked calls and immediately ran off his porch and toward you, meeting in the middle of the street.
“There’s– my door– open–” you took a deep breath just to fill your lungs with substantial air. “I think someone broke in,”
In the same instant, Joel reached behind his back and pulled a handgun out of his waistband. He side-stepped you and went toward your house, knowing you’d be right behind him.
“You had that on you the whole time?!” He didn’t answer. Just kept laser focus on your house. “Were you gonna shoot him?”
“Maybe,”
“Joel!”
Finally, he turned toward you, and even in the darkness you could tell the glare he shot you was something icy. “‘M’gonna need you to be real quiet when we go through your house, okay?” He waited for you to nod, obediently. “Stay right behind me. Hand in my pocket or finger in my belt loop, got it?”
You nodded again, and when he turned around you tucked your fingertips into the back pocket of his jeans. Even as he began to walk and approach your home, you stuck close, feet falling in rhythm with his to practically meld yourself to his body. He held the handgun poised in front of him in both hands, only lowering one to push your door open. With a clear line of vision inside, he paused and listened before carrying on inside. All of his movements, searching and clearing each room, were deliberate and methodical. He took his time. Reaching around your back to hold you close to him when he needed to turn or pivot, making sure you remained fully behind him at all times.
Without searching every room, he made his way back to your bedroom. No one was standing there, or hiding under the bed, and with the closet being the only other place to hide in the room, it was one of the easier one’s to search. The closet, he soon came to learn, wasn’t a viable hiding place as it was still only partially unpacked, stacks of luggage and boxes obscuring the floor. He shut your bedroom door and lifted your hand out of his pocket.
“I’m gonna search the rest of the house. Stay here and lock the door,”
“Joel, what if–”
He held up his hand and shook his head, “don’t worry about it. Lock the door. Don’t open it until I get back.”
That was it before he went back out. You ran up and locked it behind him, then quickly backed away, to your bed, nervous as all hell, and fighting every urge your body had to break out in a sob. It seemed to take forever. His absence made the worry inside you grow. If only he’d just come back. You’d say or do whatever he wanted to make things better again. To not have him shooting daggers your way. To just live as harmoniously as you needed to, to not make the neighborhood unbearable. You’d become a hermit and never see another man in all your life if that’s what it took. Not that that didn’t seem like a great option at this point.
Three gentle knocks on your door, “it’s me. You can open up,”
You ran to it and turned the knob, the lock clicked back on itself, and you came face to face with Joel once again, finding him completely unharmed. He tucked the handgun back into his waistband, “we had some strong winds earlier. Might’ve blown the back door open. Did you have it locked?”
Thinking back, you couldn’t be sure. You’d been in and out of it so frequently, throwing things in the trash that the likelihood of it having been left unsecure was relatively high. Shrugging, you looked up at him with timid eyes, hoping to find a little bit of comfort there. But they were still cold, thwarting off any advance you might be making for warmth.
“Well, the latch is busted now so you’ll have to get someone in here to fix it,”
“You can’t fix it?”
He tilted his head to the side. After what you’d put him through in the last few days, he was surprised you even asked that at all. You were the one who apparently didn’t want him around. That is, until you needed him for something. “You ignore me for three days after we sleep together and are only talking to me because you need me to do you a favor,”
“Joel,”
“I’m not some fuckin’ toy you get to play with whenever it’s convenient for you,”
“You scare me!”
“Why?!”
The argument had gotten loud and you hadn’t wanted it to. That was too much like home. You just wanted peace and quiet. But even if your surroundings could be, your brain never was. And it hadn’t been for the last three days. It had been loud and persistent. “Because what if this keeps going?! Whatever this is, it keeps going. We keep fucking. And you keep fixing things. And suddenly we’re staying the night at each other’s places sporadically. And then I’m meeting your daughter. And your brother. And you’re learning about all my fucked up stuff. And we keep doing this thing for however long. And then we give it a label. And we’re a couple. And it just keeps going.”
Having grown baffled at the road your brain had traveled down, Joel furrowed his eyebrows and studied you. He folded his arms over his chest, and only when you’d stopped talking did he offer any response, “so?”
All that and a one word answer? You could’ve slapped him silly. “What if we never break up?”
He laughed and rolled his eyes, “sweetheart, I don’t think that’d be an issue. You seem difficult,”
You shoved your hands against his chest as he continued to laugh. “I mean it! And then I’m like… dependent,” you nearly gagged at the word, “on you like some sad, servant housewife that’s just waiting in her window for her husband to get home so she can fix his meals and wash his clothes.”
He let out a breath that almost sounded like another laugh, “you’re fuckin’ insane, you know that?” Swinging at his chest again, he caught your wrists this time and held them against him tightly. “First of all, a wife’s not a servant. Second, I wouldn’t want you to cook for me anyways. Campbell’s soup in a can for the past week! And lastly, if we never broke up – which I assure you we would because you’re nutty – then you’d be the person I get to come home to and fall into your arms, and relax with! And I’d take the trash out to the bins, and pick the flowers in the yard for you, and pull your fuckin’ hair out of the shower drain when it clogs. And yeah, you might do my laundry every now and again, but we’d do it because we’d love each other. Your shit would be my shit, and there’s nothin’ I wouldn’t do for you.”
You stood, mouth agape, not blinking, staring up at Joel. He let go of your wrists and all but pushed them away, but you were back on him in a second. Hands replaced on his chest, this time with the utmost care, fingers curling into the fabric of his cotton t-shirt.
“I’m not trying to take your independence away. Not tryin’ to trap you. Hell, we don’t have to call this anything, just don’t ignore me.” He only stared, as if allowing himself to live in the feeling of your hands on him, pressing down on his chest but really into his soul. “If you want a man and not a boy, you got one, but it requires you to be a woman and not some scared, little girl.”
“I can be,” you assured, eyes dropping down to where your hands lay on his chest. Then once looking back into his eyes, your hands drifted further south, blazing a trail over the fabric of his shirt until you felt the rough denim of his jeans.
“Y’know,” he smirked almost devilishly, as if daring you to continue on, “you’re just a dog with a loud bark, but you got no bite.”
“Did you just call me a dog?” You grinned back, playfully squinting your eyes.
“No bite at all. You just fold and turn over on your back like a pup,”
“I got bite,”
Joel’s eyebrow quirked but his eyes didn’t waver from yours. Not even when you lowered a hand to his crotch and gave it a squeeze. He gave you no reaction, just tilted his head to the side as if he was waiting for you to amuse him.
And it got your mind spinning. What did bite look like? What did he think that meant? That you’d get on your knees and give him the sloppiest head this side of the Mississippi? Because to you, bite looked like everything you’d ever been to him. It looked like stubbornness or as he liked to call it brattiness. Last time, he’d fucked it out of you. A tried and true method. But if he wanted ‘bite’, he’d get it. Your way, on your terms.
So you swiftly undid his jeans, making quick work of the button and zipper as if they were only the slightest of inconveniences, and slipped your hand into his pants, giving him another generous and firm squeeze. By the looks of it, he was the one that nearly folded. But something else kept him preoccupied. It was then you remembered the handgun he’d tucked so haphazardly in his jeans. He reached around his back for it as you’d created a less secure space for it. And though it gave you pause as he pulled it out and glanced down at it to ensure the safety was on, it didn’t deter you completely from continuing. You removed your hand from his pants and pushed against his chest, sending you both in opposite directions. With the growing distance as you rounded to the side of your bed and a premature feeling that you’d somehow won, a smile passed over your lips. It was there and gone in a matter of milliseconds. No sooner than you’d felt it stretch across your face, Joel had closed the gap between you, lifted his free hand to your throat and with a firm hold on it, pushed you backwards. It wasn’t until you’d run out of real estate, pressed up against your closet door, that he stood over you with an almost playful glare like a cat who’d caught a mouse to toy with. He bent over and set the handgun down on the bedside table, then returned his complete focus to you. Fingers applied the softest of extra pressure to the sides of your neck and catching your gentle nod, he pressed them into a tighter squeeze.
Annoyance emanated from you – for you – that you liked it so much. That you enjoyed him having control over you, and effectively taking yours away. You hated that you wanted to give him control, when in every other aspect of life, you clung to it like a life raft in the ocean. Maybe thinking that that was all you had, there was no other fight or bite left, Joel’s fingers loosened from around your neck. And as though you hadn’t quite learned the lesson yet, thought you’d gained back some of the control, grunted and pushed on his chest again with all your might. It only sent him backward one step, and he retaliated with a searing grip on your wrist with one hand, and the return of his other hand to your neck for a cautious squeeze as his hips lowered to yours, effectively pinning you motionless.
“That was cute,”
You wriggled beneath him, trying to break free, but quickly found it pointless. His weight kept you where he wanted you and his hand on your neck was the decision-maker now. You let out a sigh of surrender, body fully collapsing and giving up beneath him.
Joel felt the fight leave your body and released your neck and wrist at the same time. With his hips still buried into yours, and now absently rubbing against you, he ducked his head to the side and planted a series of soft kisses to your neck where his fingers had just been.
“You just wanna be a good girl, don’tcha?” He could feel your pulse quicken against his lips on your neck. The only response he got came in the form of a needy whine and he set his hands on the closet door at either side of your head. “You don’t want to have to bite, huh?” He was almost goading you now, grinding his growing length against your waist. “Just looking for a bigger, badder dog to lead the way for you,”
You weren’t sure why, because except for in a sexual sense, it wasn’t necessarily true, but you nodded anyway. He could have control here. You liked not having it here if it meant you got to retain it in other aspects of life. At your acceptance, he laid a kiss on you. As good of a kiss as he’d ever given you; made sweeter by that fact that you’d made sure you’d gone without it for the last few days. Just as a headrush began, he pulled away, and it had you leaning forward as much as you could to try and get his lips back.
“I want you to get undressed and lay down on your back for me.” He thought you’d get going, but he was confronted with a pout instead. Smacking the side of your hip, “get going or I’ll put those lips to better use,”
“Is that a threat?” You smirked, reaching behind your back for the zipper on your dress.
“‘S’a promise,”
You couldn’t even really relish and appreciate his promise as at this point you remembered the trial in gymnastics it took to zip up your dress in the first place. It started far too low on your back and ended far too high to be accessible for a single human to do on their own, and at one point, you’d seriously considered just letting your date into your house without dinner just so you could stay naked and save the trouble. In hindsight – small blessings that you’d managed to get it zipped up.
“Help,” you murmured to Joel and spun around in the same moment, pressing your ass back against his crotch. Setting your hands on the closet door for more leverage to rut against him, you pressed harder, feeling the form of his growing length against your backside.
Joel didn’t waste too much time in helping you, opting to tug the zipper down in one quick fell swoop instead of taking his time with it. But as soon as your back was exposed to him, he snaked his arms around your torso and pressed one large, strong palm over your belly while the other found your clit. He cupped your sex and gently bit down on the back of your shoulder. Then as if he remembered what he’d previously been doing, he removed his hands from you and tapped your ass.
“G’on, lay down,”
You obeyed him and delicately let your dress fall from your shoulders and to the floor. He was pleased to see you already without a bra, and by the time you turned and laid back on your bed, Joel was at the latter part of pulling his t-shirt over his head and throwing it to the floor with your dress. He descended upon you as you’d moved up to rest your head on the pillows. But that wasn’t in his plans yet. He grabbed you by the ankle and pulled you down along the duvet until your legs hung over the end of the bed.
“Joel,” you gasped, finding yourself immediately repositioned. He hadn’t even bothered with a kiss to your lips or a check in, but opted for migrating straight to your breasts.
“Yeah, sweetheart,” he kneaded your soft flesh in his hands and knelt to the floor at the end of your bed.
You heard his knees click on the way down, and truly wanted to say something about it this time – maybe that it was time for a couple knee replacements – but found yourself cut off again when he gripped onto the thin line of your g-string and began to pull it away from your center. “Joel, wait…”
And to his credit, being face to face with your wet slit and already sporting a hard on, his fingers stilled immediately. Quit their pursuit of ridding you from the underwear that was barely there anyway, and opted for bending in to kiss the inside of your thigh.
“I don’t think…” your voice trailed off as he sucked on your inner thigh, surely leaving a mark. Then steadfastly, kissed the skin again.
“I like you like this,” he murmured against your thigh before moving an inch higher and kissing that fresh skin. “Soft,”
A whimper died in your throat, only barely emitting soundwaves into the space between you. But your gaze remained locked on him for any sudden movements.
“I got you, you know that, right?” He kissed your opposite thigh when you nodded. “You can be soft, and small; I got you,” he smiled when you nodded again. “Can I take this off?” his fingers toyed with your g-string again, “can I taste you? And give you a couple brain-melting orgasms,”
“Where’s that horn,” you giggled and looked around the room as if searching for it, finding it bought you some time and distance from having to look directly in his soul-piercing eyes. But he grazed his teeth against your inner thigh again like a horse chomping at the bit, and that got you locked on him again. “You can try. A little bit,”
His hands got back to immediate work and carefully slid the miniscule fabric past the curve of your ass, down from your core, trying not to get lost in the way a bit of your arousal connected you to the fabric for a second longer until he pulled it further away, down your thighs, past your calves, and finally, off completely. He lifted your legs, set them atop his shoulders, positioning himself right in the center of where he yearned to be, and kissed your inner thigh again, this time higher than he’d previously been. His hands found their way to your hips, fingers digging into the flesh as he worked you into a more comfortable state before lips would meet your slit.
Nerves bubbling up to the surface, realizing you’d have a helluva time trying to dissociate from this, you reached down and clawed at the back of one of his hands. He flicked his eyes up to you in time to adjust, releasing your hip and allowing you to take his hand in yours. He moaned against your skin as he moved higher, now to where your leg and hip met, and laced his fingers with yours. You squeezed his hand and he took it as approval for the next step. Of laying a wet kiss on your clit. Thighs briefly squeezed closer to his head, releasing just in time as he licked a broad stripe from your entrance up to your clit.
A high-pitched groan fell past your lips and he shook his head against you when his mouth made contact with your clit again. He hummed too, sounding beyond elated with his current position. A noise you hadn’t ever quite heard with such enthusiasm. As if everyone in the past had been doing it cursorily instead of out of sheer desire.
Joel flicked his tongue over your clit repeatedly, then lowered his mouth to your entrance and rimmed the tight opening. The feeling of you squirming beneath him was all he needed by way of encouragement. He guided your hand up to his head, not completely satisfied until you released his hand and grabbed hold of his hair. Only then did he move his hand up over your belly and pressing his palm flat against it to hold you still, while his other hand moved from your hip and hooked around your thigh.
“J-Joel… please,” you breathed out, lifting your head to look down at him. But his eyes were closed, getting lost in his ministrations that were unending. You let your head drop back to the bed, “oh my god, please.”
In the past, there had been a worry about the amount of time it took, or how long a boy would be willing to go to get you there. Now, you weren’t quite sure what time was. Or how much had passed. Maybe it had been only a few minutes, maybe it had been fifteen. But your eyes snapped open and made contact with your bedroom ceiling because Joel pressed his middle and ring fingers against your soaked entrance. “Joel,” you whimpered again.
For the first time since he’d begun, he pulled his mouth off you, though his eyes remained on his fingers for the time being, “I got you, girl. Bein’ such a good girl for me,” as he knew it would, your body reacted to his praise. Relaxed. And he slowly urged his fingers inside you, gaze now flicking upward to watch your expression. Jaw slack and eyes rolling back until they shut, he evenly pulled his fingers in and out of you. “Look at you, sweetheart. Like my fingers inside you?”
You nodded emphatically, choking out a sound with a throat that had run dry.
“This pussy’s so good,” he leaned back in and licked your entrance where it met his fingers and continued up to your clit, “tastes so fuckin’ good.”
Thighs closed around his head, muscles twitching and spasming on their own volition. “Don’t stop. Please don’t stop,”
He smiled against you, softly sucking your clit into his mouth and rolling his tongue flat against it. The mewls it drew from your lips sounded like the sweetest song he’d ever heard. You didn’t need to tell him not to stop. He’d keep doing whatever it was that got that sound to come out of you.
Joel moaned against you and it sent a vibration up through you that was the last thing you really needed to get you to your first orgasm of the night. It had been on a nonstop incline since he’d started, and the release was just there at the edge. You were sure Joel could tell. His fingers moved more hastily, his mouth and tongue not ceasing for even a second. But then – your brain entered the picture. Took center stage. Reminded you that some man was in between your legs, his mouth performing pure magic… and though your orgasm still neared, your brain fought for distance.
Your hand had been nestled snugly in his hair, holding him against you, begging him to stay put. But now you were using it to push back on his head. Your release was there, centimeters away, and you desperately pressed against his head, trying to pry him off of you. “Joel, no, please. Stop,”
He pulled his mouth away, though his fingers remained pumping inside of you, and with a growl, he leaned forward and moved his free hand up to your neck, getting a soft grip on either side of it. “Come on, right here,” he curled his fingers inside you, “come all over my fingers.”
But you only whined and writhed beneath him, now frustrated that you’d pushed away his mouth – the very thing that had been getting you to your climax.
“Got you moanin’ like a whore with my mouth… Push me away…” He shook his hand with his fingers deep inside you, rocking the entire lower half of your body, “c’mon, give it to me.”
The hold he had on your neck tightened and without his mouth, that had been your undoing. You came with a scream, back arching off the bed, chest spasming. Joel removed his fingers from you before you’d ridden out the entirety of your climax, and slapped his hand down on your clit at the tail end of it. You whined a little louder when that sent rippling shock waves through your body. Chest heaving, your sex, already red and swollen, Joel still got up from his knees and leaned over your body for a kiss. You could still taste a hint of yourself on his tongue and it made you want to ravage him more.
“Want you to fuck me,” you begged against his lips, pushing his underwear down past his waist. At some point while he was on his knees, he’d pushed his jeans down and had been able to step out of them when he stood back up. However it happened, you didn’t care, as long as it got him inside of you sooner.
Joel smiled against your lips and tapped your hip as he stood back up and rid himself of his underwear. “Turn over,” he ordered as he stroked himself, smearing the precum that leaked from his tip down along the length of his shaft.
Instantaneous obedience rushed over you and you clumsily turned over to your stomach and got up on your hands and knees. Joel’s hand returned to your skin soon thereafter. Fingers splayed over your ass cheek, digging into the supple flesh. It was the gentlest of the actions you’d feel over the next few minutes. Just enough time to relish in the expanse of his hand before he was using his other hand to guide his length to you, sliding his member over your wetness and then finally pushing himself inside of you.
The air evacuated your lungs with the feeling of him sinking into you. Relentlessly. Until he’d worked himself balls deep, nestled tight in your core. A throbbing overtook the lower half of your body and you allowed yourself to collapse, chest and head now resting on the bed while your backside remained up for Joel to use. And that he did. The thrusts you remembered from the first time together had felt deep, and were, no doubt. But they paled in comparison to the feeling of this, of his length actually splitting you in half, like an axe to a piece of wood. You released a long, lingering cry that changed into a breathy moan when his thrusts picked up, nothing but the sounds of your shared labored breaths and skin slapping together.
“Shit,” Joel groaned, gripping onto your hips with a bone-crushing hold. His hips faltered for just a second.
If you hadn’t been paying such rapt attention to the feeling of each inch inside you, you likely wouldn’t have noticed the stutter of his movement for the slightest of seconds. But it was impossible to ignore how he felt inside you. A fullness you sure was indescribable – at least indescribable by any sense that would do it justice. And a heaviness that was all-encompassing. It seemed to seep into every cell, weighing you down in the most delicious of ways. On shaky arms that seemed unlikely to be able to bear any weight, you pressed up from the bed to return to your hands and knees.
But no sooner than you’d risen, a hand left your hip and migrated to the center of your upper back, pushing you back down until your chest was flush with the mattress again. “Stay like this,” his jaw dropped open when you squeezed around his shaft, and he very nearly doubled over. “Just like this,”
“Joel, I can’t–”
As though he was a mind reader, he slid his hand down your back and enveloped it around your hips; the pads of his fingers making contact with your clit again. Your body went soft for him again, malleable to whatever course of action was to come next.
“Yes. God yes,” you pleaded like God was in the room with you in the form of Joel.
“Feel fuckin’ incredible,” he moaned and offered a particularly hard thrust. One that had caught you off guard, and your knees slipped, sending your stomach down to the bed as well.
He managed to follow you down, keeping himself sheathed deep inside you, and with hand still curled around you, kept you lifted enough for his fingers to continue massaging your clit in small, quick circles. Now with only your ass left above the rest of your body, he straddled your legs and scooted himself up closer. His thrusts now deep but short, you let out a shriek and curled your fists in your sheets.
“Takin’ this cock like a champ,” he bared his teeth into his bottom lip with a thrust that had his tip pressing against the opening to your cervix. You whimpered again, which only made him smile. “Yeah, you like that? Tell me about it,”
“Love it,” you panted. Legs pressed together, feeling fuller than ever with his hands on your clit, coil in your stomach was winding up. Tighter and tighter, and you knew it was only a matter of moments before you’d snap. “Fuckin’ love your cock, Joel,”
Just expressing the sentiment made you throb, and you knew he felt it. Knew it when he replaced the circling of your clit with a couple quick taps to it which made your body jerk. He smiled again and reset his hands on your hips, using them for all the leverage he needed for what would end up being the last of what you’d be able to take.
“Joel,” you cried and unwound a hand from the sheets to reach back for his hand on your hip. You curled it around two of his fingers, “I’m gonna…”
“Yeah, you are. Gonna be a good girl and come all over this cock?” He groaned after your body responded to his praise, “let me have it, sweetheart.”
You felt his hips falter again and thought if you could just hold out for a while longer, you’d both hit the peak together. So you stiffened your body, and tried to stave off the snapping of the spring inside you. Tried to blur out the pleasure for sheer focus. But all that did was send a shot of discomfort through you which settled in your chest and your body purged it with an animalistic growl.
Joel pressed his hands to the bed on either side of you and rested himself against your back, cautious to not lay all of his weight on you. He bit into your neck, “don’t wait for me. Go on, I’ll be right behind you,” his jaw slackened when your muscles clenched around him, sucking him in deeper and milking his length.
“Promise?” you squeaked out, the beginning of your orgasm gearing up deep in your stomach.
He smiled against your neck and nodded, “yeah, I promise. C’mon, sweetheart.”
It didn’t take too much more coaxing than that. One more thrust and you unraveled beneath him. Body trembling involuntarily with an endless string of moans filling the room. He grunted behind you and pulled out before you’d even finished. Stroked himself just a couple times before his own muscles flexed and released, releasing his come over your lower back and ass. You turned your head to the side when the feeling of his come hitting you finished, and smiled breathlessly at the sight of him giving his length a couple more tugs. He let go of his member and let it rest along your ass, taking deep breaths to steady himself.
Joel leaned down, his cock sliding to your lower back. He nestled his nose against your cheek and kissed your jaw, “you’re a good girl, huh?”
You grinned, cheeks growing hotter, and lifted your hands up behind you to tangle them in his hair.
“Yeah, you are,” he pecked your cheek once more then pushed himself off you. “I’ll be back, lemme clean you up.” He only waited for you to nod before he was off.
Left alone in your room, you leaned up on your elbows and looked around. It was pretty sparse and impersonal, like the rest of your house still. Nothing like Joel’s. In his house, everything screamed him. It was lived in, worn. The things that were out of place had been so for so long that their lack of a place became their place. He’d spent years making it a home while you were still just in a house. You wondered what it would take for your house to become that. Time? Maybe a dog? Or worst case scenario – a man?
Joel re-entered your room, towel in hand, and crawled back on the bed to you. He gently wiped away his spend until your skin was clean again. “Couldn’t find a washcloth,”
After he threw the towel to the floor by your bed, you rolled over onto your back, “don’t have ‘em. Got these,” you lifted her hands and waved them about.
He scrunched his nose and you swatted at his chest as he laid down beside you. With a hand holding yours against his chest, he maneuvered his other arm around you, behind your neck and shoulders, and pulled you into him. You rest your head down on his collarbone and focused on your fingers, running them along his tanned skin leaving invisible doodles in their wake. If you could just stay here like this, in the post-sex afterglow, you could almost convince yourself that the closeness wasn’t freaking you out. It was a lot so quickly. A far cry from your status quo.
“Can you stay tonight,” you asked in the same moment Joel kissed the top of your head. And because he didn’t answer right away, you felt the need to justify yourself. “If it wasn’t the wind and someone did bre–”
“I’ll stay,” he shook you reassuringly, “‘cause you’re nicer to cuddle up against than my old pillows,”
You wrapped your arm around him tighter, “this doesn’t mean anything.”
“Of course not.” For just a moment, he let his fingertips dance over the skin at your bare hip, smiling to himself at the goosebumps that erupted across it. Then he tapped your hip, “you should go to the bathroom,”
Ah, yes. Your delicate pH balance. Apparently it was on Joel’s mind more than it was on yours. You willed yourself out of bed and carried on into the bathroom, whereupon looking at yourself in the mirror, it was impossible to ignore the seemingly permanent smile on your face. You tried to get rid of it; tried to turn your lips into a straight line, but it wouldn’t leave. It was there. Etched deep and sure. And you knew it had very little to do with the fact that you were in your own home, a thousand miles away from family drama, and very much to do with the man waiting for you in bed.
If you from two months ago could see you now, you were sure there wouldn’t have been the slightest chance of recognition. While to most, and maybe even to Joel, a change had scarcely happened, you saw the leaps and bounds of apparent progress. Two months ago, you’d closed on the house and had swore off boys altogether. Like a form of housekeeping, you swept those ideas into a dustpan and deposited them in the garbage. Boys were superfluous. Intimate relationships were superfluous. A couple lousy boyfriends had taught you that, but they hadn’t been horribly awful people. They’d just been boys. Perhaps the worst of it was that your father had taught you that. Taught you that the man who was supposed to love you unconditionally, couldn’t, or just flat out didn’t. Taught you that romantic relationships looked like prison sentences. That a man would never be able to evolve and understand his own emotional range, let alone yours. And worst of all, that despite being obviously unhappy with everything, that he’d never leave, never let you leave; and instead hold you hostage in a relationship that everyone could see had failed, but he refused to admit for the sake of his own delicate ego.
You grinned, thinking about how the only delicate thing about you was your pH balance.
“Y’alright?” Joel asked as you re-entered your bedroom.
You figured you’d looked pretty spaced out upon returning. Not entirely sure how you’d made it back there from the bathroom. Still, you pressed a smile and crawled back into bed, immediately curling up into his side. Back in only his underwear, his skin against yours gave off tremendous heat and for the first time (perhaps in life), you really found yourself hoping that Joel was all the things he said he was, and that it wasn’t just performative.
“What’s this?” He held out a lone bolt in his fingers.
You tilted your head back from where it rested against his chest, “where’d you get that?”
“Side table,”
“You’re snooping in my stuff?”
“Yeah,” he nodded and jiggled the bolt in his hand again. “Where’d this come from?”
You shrugged and lowered your head, rubbing your cheek against his bare chest to get comfortable again. “Found it when I was Swifferin’ beneath my oven,”
The bolt stopped moving in Joel’s fingers and you peeked back up to find him stunned. “‘S’truly amazing your house hasn’t exploded yet,”
“What?” you whined, “it works and it’s not like I smell gas. It was probably an extra part,”
“Since when do ovens come with parts you don’t need?”
“Joel,” you whined again and wrapped your arm around his belly, holding him close.
He leaned over and set the bolt back down on the side table. He’d fix that tomorrow. Along with your back door. And maybe give everything else in your house a once over to make sure you wouldn’t combust.
✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿
Sun rays filtered in between the slits in your blinds and you cursed yourself (yet again) for not having invested in black out curtains. One of these days you would and maybe then you’d get a restful night of sleep. With a groan and an aching in your hips, you turned onto your back and looked to the side where Joel was still asleep, his back to you. Generally, sharing a bed with someone resulted in you having the worst night of sleep known to man. It was as if your brain could never really settle knowing someone was beside you. And while you had slept some last night, you couldn’t wait for Joel to not be in your bed the following night.
After having slid out of bed, successful in not rousing him, you padded down the hallway to the kitchen and squinted out the front window where the neighborhood was slowly coming to life. A couple kids were riding their bikes in the street. Mr. Cole was hobbling down his driveway to pick up the newspaper. Your routine was coffee first and after a night like last, where your hips weren’t the only thing sore, but your thighs and core, too, coffee was supremely necessary.
The slowness of the act was almost meditative. You could turn off your brain. Grab the filter, scoop the coffee grounds, add the water, hit the button. At least on a normal day. What you didn’t know at that moment, but came to know halfway pouring the water, today was not to be a normal day. Not at all. Because a knock on your front door had you spilling some of the water down the side of the machine instead of within the well.
You turned, confused, and then were riled into action when the knock happened again, this time more insistent. Perhaps one day you’d learn to look through the window first, or install a door with a peephole, but on this day, you simply tugged the front door open and felt your heart drop into your stomach.
“Mom? Dad?”

Ever since you got accepted into your dream university on the West Coast, you had a weight lifted off your shoulders, at least a little bit of it.
Your family and friends were all happy and excited for you to achieve your dreams that were coming true, except your boyfriend, Rafe who didn't seem too fond of it even if he said he was. There was only a month left until you had to leave for university, and it's been recently that you thought of breaking up with Rafe. As fucked up as you felt it was, you had your reasoning.
Before issues started, Rafe had given you a promise ring after you graduated high school, and you did see yourself with him as everything seemed so beautiful at the time if you put aside the bad parts beginning to worsen as you and Rafe had spent the entire summertime together meaning you had little time to yourself. Your reasoning for breaking up with him other than a long-distance relationship; Rafe's addiction was worsening then after a couple of tries of helping him was a fail and him treating you worse than ever, and your intuition was feeling weirder every day, you started questioning yourself if you wanted to be with someone like that, but when you took time to yourself while Rafe was away for a little while on vacation with his family, you discovered yourself more and needed to put yourself and dreams first. You couldn’t let anything get in the way of that just like Rafe and his problems were starting to affect it by distracting you. He had graduated a year before you, so you would’ve assumed he had his life figured out already, especially with the kind of father Rafe has, but he didn’t.
You told Rafe to come over as you wanted to tell him in person how you felt. He agreed to it since he wanted to spend more time with you before you left, even though he hated thinking about it, despising it even. Rafe never expected you to leave him, although it was a fear he had.
“Why did you start to think that us parting ways is the best idea?!” Rafe asks you with offense in his tone.
“Because it is!” you protest, “It’s always been my dream to go to school on the West Coast, and I want to focus on that— my career, everything!”
“We can make it work!” Rafe insists, “I can’t believe you want to throw away three years just like that?”
“That was never my plan, Rafe.” you say, “But as the day gets closer… I can’t see us together. You refuse any help on your addiction which is getting worse, and you know that. We’re both going on two completely different paths. We wouldn’t work— most long-distance relationships don't work."
“This is fucking bullshit,” Rafe mutters to himself, slamming your bedroom door shut and leaving your home.
This wasn’t over, even the relationship, and you knew you two would have to talk again, but you didn’t know when. You sigh as you sit on your bed running your fingers through your hair. A part of you felt awful and guilty, and the other part felt relieved to say how you felt toward him; it was like the knot in your stomach was finally detangled, but not completely.
Arguing with Rafe was exhausting enough, no matter how much you had tried giving out you're reasoning in whatever you two would go on about, but your boyfriend always had to have his way.
𖤓
The next night, to your surprise, he had called you first, but Rafe usually held in a grudge for more than a day, so you wondered what had changed if any change at all.
“Hey,” Rafe says through the phone.
“Hi, Rafe,”
“Listen I... I’m sorry about yesterday,” he apologizes, “I just think you haven’t thought it through enough… I love you, Y/N.”
You felt sorry not only for yourself but for him, too. Your gut telling you one thing, but your heart was telling you another. You started to fidget with your promise ring, but you couldn’t take it off nor return it, and it’s not like Rafe would accept the ring back because he wouldn’t and more than likely would never, and a cloud of confusion was surrounding you. Maybe giving him a chance couldn’t seem to hurt you as much as you thought it could.
“Just come over so we can talk things out,” you respond, rubbing the side of your temple.
And with that, Rafe didn’t hesitate and was over within ten minutes. You had texted him to let him know that the front door of your home was unlocked and to head over to your room.
You heard footsteps approaching and saw the door opening with Rafe behind it with slightly red eyes and dilated pupils. Perhaps he was crying as your initial thought while also in denial that he was high, but you were afraid to ask as you wanted the night to end up good and both sides happy and not lose sleep due to your boyfriend's issues. Anxiety was running through you as it made you feel sick to your stomach.
“Look, I’m sorry about last night,” he continues, “I-I shouldn’t have walked out like that, but I also should’ve listened to how you felt.”
“Yes, you should’ve, Rafe.” you express, crossing your arms.
“Y/N, I’m just worried, okay?!” Rafe gestures with his hands.
“About what?”
“You,”
“What about me?”
He sighs as he’s already frustrated with the conversation, “Your safety… you’re on the other side of the country. How will I know you’ll be okay at all times? I can barely even visit you on top of that— it’s just messing with me, okay? I-I don’t know how I’m supposed to cope with this. I need you to tell me how to cope."
“You’re proving my point exactly.” you imply, playing with your ring, “I knew you wouldn’t take it well, and I’d rather you focus on yourself, especially on how much pressure your father is putting on you about the business.”
“Hey! I didn’t come here to talk about that, alright?” he snaps quickly but stops himself from getting even more angry. “Sorry, bad habit…”
“So I’ve seen,” you nod, taking a step closer to him, “But this is both of our futures we’re talking about.”
“I got mine figured out.” he shrugs in denial, “I just need you to figure out yours, that’s all.”
You chuckle in disbelief, “I’ve already told you mine, Rafe. I suggest you listen to your own advice like do you even hear yourself right now?”
"Y/N, I can't imagine my life without you when you play such a big part in it." Rafe vents, “How are you going to be okay there all alone?”
“I can take care of myself just fine, but I won’t be alone,” you mention, “My best friend, Axel got accepted there, too, remember?”
His eyes narrowed at the name you had just mentioned. "Yeah, I remember." He didn’t like that.
Rafe had always shown jealousy towards your best friend, Axel, ever since you two started dating. It wasn’t much of a problem until Rafe had spammed you with calls and texts then confrontations in the end when you were out with Axel more than you had planned to.
He felt as if he were to lose you to someone or something then he knew a part of him would die. He couldn’t bear the thought, even just living in the reality of it and his worst nightmare seeming to come true.
"Please, just give us a chance. I want to make this work out for the both of us," he begs, taking your hands with his and rubbing the ring.
“I’ve given you chances before!” you acknowledge.
“But this time is different! I promise!” he pleads with desperation written all over his eyes.
"And you’ve made promises before that weren’t kept!” you exclaim, pulling your hands away from his.
You felt stuck in the situation. You wanted to cry out of the stress and frustration because it felt like choosing between Rafe and your future, but was Rafe a part of your future or not?
“I won’t break another this time, I promise.” he went on, “This is going to be different, okay? I never want us to be apart…”
His words made you feel a little uneasy, but you didn’t know what to do at this point.
“Let me think about it, please,” you insist, wanting to be left alone in your thoughts, “Just go home and get some rest.”
He nods but then hesitates to leave, “Can I at least show you that I do love you?”
Your eyebrows knit together in confusion, but you agree to it anyway, “Yeah… sure,”
Rafe grabs your waist and pulls you into a kiss to show you that he’s missed this and you especially. After the tension near the end of summer, you and Rafe weren’t as intimate with each other as you both were before, except now everything was slowly coming back as it once was. You kiss back, and you’re surprised at yourself but mostly content.
He lays you onto your bed slowly as he goes down your neck with kisses and marks you. One thing about Rafe is that he was always going to make sure the hickeys were always visible. He tugs off the end of your shirt and looks at you for permission, and you nod, but he needs you to say it.
“I need to hear you say it, baby,”
“Yes, go on,” you answer.
Rafe lifts your shirt off as you take his off too and reveals that you’re not wearing a bra, no complaints though, he loves it. “Fuck, you’re so perfect,” his eyes scan you and his hand travels to your breast, squeezing one as he marks the other making you whine. He was still on top of you and went back to kissing your lips, caressing your neck slightly, and gripping it while grinding himself on you as you felt him getting hard through his clothing. Rafe was eager, but so were you. Perhaps you were missing the feeling of being wanted by the other, maybe it was driving you into that stressful mindset earlier, and maybe you just needed to get fucked; it has been a while.
His arousal was turning you on even more, but you already wanted and needed more of him. “Please… I need you, Rafe.”
“I’m all yours,” he assures while getting up and pulling down your shorts and lowering his head, giving kisses to your inner thighs. He wraps his arms around your thighs and goes down on you with his tongue swirling around your clit and sucking harshly. Two of his fingers enter inside your folds, going in and out at a slow pace only to tease you while his cold rings add to the sensation. “Go faster,” you say.
Rafe does as you say while he devours you as if he is craving you, which he is. “Oh, fuck,” you moan, arching your back as you grind against his mouth. He smirks at the look of your satisfaction. He continues while his other hand travels to your breast, squeezing it, and you lay your hand upon him while you run your fingers through his hair on the other.
A vibration was going through your body as you felt your climax reaching, “I’m close,” you mention and Rafe stops, “Why’d you stop?” you question him with the disappointment that was clear in your voice.
“I’m not just stopping there.” he laughs softly as he unbuckles his belt.
“Wait,” you pause, “Do you have a condom?”
“If I knew this would happen, I would’ve,” he admits.
“Whatever, I’m on the pill, anyway.” you grab his face and pull him down to your level kissing him again and his tongue enters your mouth.
Rafe started stroking himself as he already was dripping with precum, but you take over by teasing him by palming the tip, and then stroking him as he’s massaging your swollen clit with his hand while you start stroking him faster to tease him back from earlier which caught him by surprise in a good way. “Aw, fuck, just like that,” he catches a glimpse of the way your acrylic nails looked so pretty as you’re stroking him, “I’m paying for your next set just so you know.” He pecks your lips.
“I need you… now.” you whine, and he quickly adjusts himself, “You ready?” he smirks.
“Yes,” you respond, wrapping your legs around his hips.
He starts slow at first so you can get used to it again and wait to give him the okay to go faster. “Tell me if it hurts, it's been a while,” he reassures, and you nod.
Rafe grips your hips as he thrusts in deeper and deeper, “Okay, go faster,” you confirm, and he fastens his pace making your body feel euphoric. His grip on you was so strong, but you were numb to it as the pleasure he was giving you was taking over. “H-harder!” you demand, moaning in his ear.
“Fuck!" he swears in between his moans and lets go of your left hip to put a grip on your neck slightly choking you and looks into your eyes. “God, if only you could see yourself right now, you look and feel so fucking amazing.”
Your smile in pleasure as you dig your nails, leaving scratch marks on his back from how fast and hard, he’s going. Rafe didn’t mind it though, it added to the fun, and it felt good to him as well.
“I-I wanna ride you,” you confess as you’re catching air and Rafe slows down. “Did you say you wanna ride-”
“Yes,” you confidently reply.
Rafe asks again, "Are you sure? You've never done that before, it might hurt."
"But I want to now," you reassure him, and he softly kisses you and happily switches positions with you to do so.
You forget how big he is as you're readjusting yourself until you're comfortable since it's different from your point of view then you ride him slowly to start. “You can take it. I know you can,” he grins.
Rafe squeezes your thighs and your hips then holds on there as you start going faster, he could’ve came right then and there but wanted you to do so first. In his world, you’ll always be his priority.
“Mhmm,” you moan with your eyes rolling back as you feel your g spot being hit perfectly making you moan again so loudly that you were so glad you had the house all to yourself tonight, “Holy fuck! You’re doing so good, beautiful, so good.” Rafe praises you and pulls you into a hug while you’re still riding him, he stuffs his face between your breasts with kisses traveling to your neck and sucking harshly creating more marks, and you’ll look bruised by the end of the night.
At this point, you start seeing stars and feel your high coming, “I’m close!” you cry out.
“So am I, you want me to fill you up, huh?” Rafe teases, “I’ll gladly do so, I’d do anything for you, I promise you that.”
You spill all over him as he fills you up right after which awakens something in you to keep going. Rafe is caught off guard, but it feels so good, “Awh, f-fuck,” he doesn’t want you to stop but his stamina is running out.
“You can take it,” you smile as you mimic the way he teased before and you take his hands to your breasts massaging them.
He whimpers at his overstimulation causing to you smirk, “Come on, I thought you said you wanted to fill me up? You can do it one more time for me, I know you can.” you tease, and once he hears that, he does as you both mentioned feeling the warmth spilling out.
“That was fucking amazing and so were you,” he says as you lay down next to him, catching your breath.
“Back at you,” you kiss him and he grabs to the tissues on your nightstand to get you cleaned up.
Rafe smiles and pulls the sheets up to you both to keep you from getting cold.
“I’m sorry about yesterday, too,” you add, “I guess a lot was going on, it added to the stress.”
“You don’t need to apologize, I’ll always be here when you need anything, even if it’s just my company. I promise.” Rafe reassures, pulling you into his arms.
“Thank you,” your eyes lighting up at him, “I love you, Rafe,”
“I love you more,” he kisses your forehead, “Get some sleep, it was a long night after all.”
You chuckle and close your eyes, feeling safe in his arms.
𝟏:𝟎𝟔 𝐀𝐌
Rafe woke up nearly forgetting where he was but smiled to himself when he saw you still silently asleep in his arms. He looks at the alarm clock on your nightstand and sees the time. It's not as late as he thought it was, but Rafe had a plan before coming over, and that was to get rid of someone or something that stands in the way of your relationship with him. The first one was your best friend, Axel.
It was the perfect night to do as your parents were on a trip with Axel's parents which meant he was also home alone. The adrenaline was rushing through Rafe as he quietly got out of bed trying not to wake you which wasn't much of a problem since you are a heavy sleeper. He gets dressed and makes sure to turn off his phone since he had no intention of bringing it with him and hides his phone in a dresser you have and makes sure to put it on the bottom with clothing on top of it to hide it.
Rafe nearly swears out loud when he remembers he can't go out the front door nor the back doors since your phone and your parent's devices get notifications of the doors opening and closing. Luckily for him, he snuck out through your bedroom window which is the same window you used to use to sneak out of. He successfully made it to his car and drove it down to the destination he needed to be at l, Axel's house.
Arriving at the house but far away enough to not be seen, Rafe remembered about the costume hidden in his trunk, he had a plan. It seemed silly at first to wear one, but he wasn't planning on getting caught, although the thought of recreating one of his favorite movies was exciting to him. Imagining the people, he hates suffering in agony had brought a type of satisfaction to him, but now there was no more imagining it; he was bringing it to life while a life pays for it to be seen by his very own eyes.
There Axel was peacefully painting a new art canvas. He was going to major in art, but why did it have to be the same university as you? That's what Rafe's problem was. His house was built with lots of those types of windows where anyone could easily see anything. Rafe had already put on the black cloak and the mask with a knife ready in his hand and hid where there were no windows then he pulled out a burner phone he had prepared with the voice changer to give Axel a call.
"Hello?"
"What's your favorite scary movie?"
"That's so original, isn't it?"
"If you wanna talk about something original, you're speaking to the original."
"Alright, listen, man, you got the wrong number. Nice impression though, bye–”
"If you hang up on me, I'll smear your own blood on that canvas you were painting!"
Axel's heart drops and looks around the windows outside, but he sees nothing except the pitch-black night.
Rafe laughs at the silence knowing Axel is scared for his life.
"What do you want from me?"
"I'm not asking for much only just your life."
Rafe sees he's next to the electrical panel and cuts the wires making all the power go off.
"Stop fucking with me, man! I'll call the cops."
"Oh, I don't they'd have enough time to get here, you do live in the middle of the woods." Rafe grabs a large heavy rock with his hand, "Besides, you'll be dead by the time they get here."
Quickly, Rafe throws the rock to a window to distract Axel and runs to the other side where a door with a glass window that he needs to break to unlock the door.
Rafe succeeds in breaking into the house and hears Axel in another room swearing to himself.
"Shit, this can't be happening," Axel shakes as he tries to find something to defend himself with while Rafe is in the kitchen and throws a glass cup to the living across from him where he saw Axel painting earlier just to see if he'll move.
Axel tries to run out the front door but Rafe sneaks up behind by stabbing him in the back and then putting him in a chokehold before he starts stabbing his chest and stomach multiple times making Axel scream in agony, but he fights back throwing himself backward with Rafe to the wall of glass picture frames and making them both fall to the ground as glass shatters everywhere. Rafe quickly gets up and looks down at Axel who struggles to get up by slipping in his own pool of blood. Rafe kneels to him as he watches him suffer in his own agony and waves his knife around.
Rafe starts swinging his knife again but misses and slices the bloody canvas instead when Axel flips over his body to avoid the knife. This angers Rafe even more to which he wipes his knife with his gloves then stabs the knife onto a wooden table, and grabs Axel by the collar of his shirt making him face the mirror then grabs his knife again and points with it. "Take a good fucking look because this is the last thing you'll ever see before you die," Rafe scowls in his normal voice.
"R-Rafe?' Axel struggles to say before Rafe sliced his throat open and is left there to bleed to his death.

Biggest Fan: Part One
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chris Sturniolo x Fem Reader
Summary: The one in which a fan gets rear ended in a car accident by none other than Christopher Sturniolo during her stay in Los Angeles.
A/N: This is my first series I will be publishing on here! There will most likely be 3 or 4 parts. I hope you like it and I’m really excited to share with you all. :)
Content Warnings: smutty smut, oral receiving/giving, penetration, slight degradation, fingering, teasing, overstimulation, swearing, brief mentions of blood, head injuries, mentions of a car accident
side note: there is no smut in this part, but it will be coming soon I promise! ;) It's pretty long because this is part of a series so I like to develop the plot and use a lot of dialogue, but I will be doing shorter stories, like one shots in the future as well! enjoy <3

I was inspired by this song:
𐮙ღ✰☾✿ღ𐮙
Summer 2023
Your toes sink into the sand, the warmth of the sun beaming down on your skin, as you take a cold sip of the cheap wine cooler you bought before you came to the beach. You and two of your closest friends from college decided on a whim to take a road trip from your hometown to Los Angeles, California. You all had the next week off for summer break and getting drunk and sunburnt on the West Coast sounded like a pretty great idea. You watched dozens of people walk along the coastline, several enjoying the water and others playing in the sand, some groups playing volleyball. You can’t remember the last time you went to the beach or even on a vacation. The last two years, you have been completely immersed in your studies, barely having time to relax, let alone have any time to yourself.
Los Angeles was the perfect getaway. Tonight, you had all agreed to splurge and go out to eat at a restaurant in Hollywood, just to get the full experience. Maybe even spot a celebrity or two. Your mind briefly thought of the idea of running into the Sturniolo Triplets, who you were obsessed with recently (which your friends were painfully aware of). But of course, that was delusional and the odds of seeing them were one in a million.
After a couple hours of enjoying the sun and sand, you headed back to your hotel to get ready for dinner. You chose to wear a pair of cute mom jeans, a tube top and cardigan, and a nice pair of sneakers. You didn’t want to dress up too much as you already felt tired from the beach and planned on crashing out in your bed right after dinner. You all went to eat at a gorgeous Italian restaurant, thoroughly enjoying the night, laughing and talking over good food and wine.
Once you got back to the hotel, you told your friends goodnight and went to your separate room, immediately hopping in the shower and changing into a comfortable pair of flannel pajama shorts and an old band t-shirt. You had talked about going out to a club or bar but you felt exhausted. This was your first day of vacation and already you had been stressing about your classes. Your friends forced you to leave your computer at home so that you weren’t tempted to do some extra credit for your school work. Sometimes you found it hard to just relax and take a break. You were trying to learn to simply live in the moment and stop thinking so hard about what to do next. Still, your mind raced as you lay in bed, attempting to sleep. Rain pelted the window of your room as it started to storm outside. You loved when it rained, the calming sound of thunder and raindrops on the roof usually coaxed you to sleep quickly. But tonight, you couldn’t stop tossing and turning. You were wide awake. You had the sudden urge to get up and do something – anything – to entertain you that hopefully would tire you out enough to finally go to sleep.
You got out of bed and slipped on your converse, not bothering to change your pajamas. You had decided to just go to the drive through and get an ice cream. A midnight snack would be just the thing you needed.
These were the events that had led up to you now in your car halfway down the street from the Wendy’s you stopped at, vanilla frosty in your hand, the other hand on the steering wheel as you stopped at a red light. The radio played softly as you ate your ice cream, streetlights illuminating the dark streets. There were only a few people on the road being that it was nearly one in the morning. The palm trees swayed slightly with the breeze, rain still coming down although not as hard as before. This is nice, you thought. This is my vacation. There is no time for stress. Once I get back to my room, I’ll get some rest. Tomorrow, me and the girls will go out sightseeing. Maybe even go to the–
Your thoughts were interrupted by a loud bang behind you as you felt your body jolt forward harshly, you frosty dropping out of your hand, vanilla soft serve spilling all over your lap and steering wheel. Your air bag went off, a piece snapping painfully against your forehead. It happened so quickly you barely had time to register it. After a good thirty seconds, you realized you had just been rear ended. Great. You thought. This is the last thing I needed. You looked out of your rear-view mirror to see a Kia attached to your bumper. The culprit, from what you could see through the tinted window, looked to be a boy around your age with long brown hair. You sighed in frustration, leaning your head back against the headrest. You hated confrontation, especially in situations like these. Not to mention you’d have to file this with insurance and that was another headache in itself. Reluctantly, you opened your door, stepping out into the wet street.
Fuck. You didn’t have an umbrella with you. Talk about the fucking cherry on top. Luckily the rain had significantly got lighter than earlier, and it wasn’t thunder and lightning anymore. You closed the door, walking towards the other car but stopped dead in your tracks once you recognized the person that had crashed into you.
There was absolutely no way. Had you actually fallen asleep in your hotel room and were currently dreaming? Because there was just no way that you were standing in the middle of the street, rain currently soaking through your pajamas which were also sticky with ice cream, staring at Christopher Sturniolo who had rear ended your car. Who also happened to be in a yelling match with Matt and Nick at the current moment. You had to be dreaming.
Your feet were frozen to the ground as you stood there, physically unable to move. How does one even go about approaching them? Oh, hey funny to see you guys here. I know you just crashed into my car but don’t worry about it. I’ll just be on my way back to the comfort of my bed so I can completely avoid this insane situation and also avoid making a complete idiot of myself….
“Chris, are you fucking serious?!”
“This is the last time I ever let you drive, you’re obviously incapable.”
“Will both of you shut the fuck up! I can’t find my phone; I think it went under the seat.”
“Oh, you can’t be serious. He just hit another car and the kid is worried about his phone.”
“I’d be more worried about the insurance and how much we’re gonna have to pay for this!!”
“Oh my God! I said shut the fu-“
They didn’t seem to even notice you, too caught up in their bickering as you had slowly walked closer, your voice quiet and timid.
“Uh, hey… Don’t worry about insurance or anything. If you don’t wanna claim it, I’m cool with that.”
You interrupted, trying to hide your visibly shaking hands and crossing your arms.
All three boys halted their conversation, turning to look at you with wide eyes as if they almost forgot there was another human being inside the car they had just hit.
“Oh my God, I’m so sorry. Excuse my brother, he actually has half a brain and apparently the inability to drive.” Nick said, an apologetic look on his face and then turning to glare at Chris.
Chris glared back at him, finally finding his phone from underneath the seat. He made eye contact with you, his glare turning into a sheepish look. He ran a hand through his hair, his mouth opening to speak to you, but Matt stepped in front, approaching you.
“You don’t have to worry. I’m actually the one who owns this car and I have great insurance so I promise it will all be taken care of.” He says, with a nice smile. You smile back politely, still holding onto your arms and trying not to freak out at the fact you’re actually conversing with these people right now.
“Are you sure? I mean, the damage isn’t that bad. I wont mind just forgetting this happened and calling it a night.” You laugh nervously, glancing at the busted bumper on your car. In all honesty, it actually wasn’t too bad. You would need a new bumper for sure, which might put a dent in your wallet but at the current moment you wanted nothing but to get the fuck out of there.
“No way! It wouldn’t feel right if we just walked away from this. Matt will get all the details and take care of it.” Nick chimed in, an identical smile to Matt’s on his face that made you feel just a little more comfortable.
Meanwhile Chris leaned up against the car, unusually quiet and with a look of stress over his features, stealing glances at you every now and them. He definitely felt guilty for causing the accident and he knew he would never hear the end of it from his brothers. He stared at his shoes and tucked his hands in the pocket of his hoodie, waiting while you exchanged information with Matt.
You typed your insurance information into Matt’s phone handing it back, while he handed you yours. You suddenly felt a twinge of pain on your forehead and winced, reaching up to touch it. It was then that you noticed there was about a 2-inch gash from the airbag snapping in your face. It didn’t feel too deep, but it hurt. Matt and Nick both noticed and Nick instinctively reached out to grab your arm. “Are you okay? It looks like its bleeding.” He said in concern. Chris then snapped his head up, his attention fully on you now. He walked over to Nick and Matt, a look of pure terror on his face as he stared at the cut on your head.
“Oh, I’m fine. I’ve had worse, I promise. I just need to get back to my hotel and clean it up.” You say reassuringly. But they were not buying it.
“Are you sure? Maybe we should call an ambulance? I really don’t want anything bad to happen.” Chris says.
“An ambulance? Don’t be dramatic, Chris. Maybe she just needs to sit down for a while.” Matt responds quickly. He looks at you like you’re an injured puppy, concern filling his eyes.
“Yeah, I agree. Let’s have her sit in the car for a bit. It’s not helping that we’re also standing in the rain like idiots.” Nick quips, guiding you to the back seat of their car.
You laugh nervously again, taking a seat. They crowd around you, looking at you like you might fall dead to the ground.
“Look, I really appreciate that you guys are being so helpful. But I’m not gonna lie, I’m freezing right now, my clothes are wet, and I just wanna get back to my hotel and go to sleep. Also, no offense, but I know you guys from your YouTube videos and this is a very awkward situation for me.” The words spill out in a rush, and you cover your face with your hands in embarrassment.
“Oh! I’m such an idiot. Here, take my hoodie. I have an extra one in the back.” Chris says, seeming to completely ignore the fact that you admitted you knew who they were and reaches around you to grab his dry hoodie from the back seat. He hands it to you, and you hesitantly take it, your eyebrows raised in confusion at his nonchalant response. “So you can at least warm up a little.” He smiles, trying to make you feel more comfortable. You do nothing but grip onto the soft hoodie and look over at Matt and Nick who also seem to not care a thing about what you just said. Matt says, “I’ll go look at your car if you don’t mind and make sure its safe for you to drive and then once you warm up, you’ll be free to go!”
He makes his way towards your car and Nick climbs in on the other side of the back seat next to you. “Sorry again for everything. I’m pretty sure this wasn’t how you expected your night to go.” He says. You then find yourself genuinely laughing for the first time tonight and start to pull the hoodie on, grateful to feel something warm over your wet clothes. “Yeah, definitely not what I expected.” Chris climbs into the passenger seat, turning back to look at you. “This is where I normally sit.” He states with a cheeky grin and you giggle, feeling a slight blush creep onto your face. He really was just as attractive in person, if not more, you realize as your nerves slightly settle down. “But I guess you already knew that.” He adds, his grin turning into a smirk. “Yeah and it’s gonna stay that way, you idiot.” Nick interrupts, making you erupt into more giggles as Chris’ smirk turns into a glare. “Shut up.” He mumbles, turning back around in his seat as Matt walks back towards their car, opening the driver door and getting in. He has a serious look on his face now, turning to look at you in the back seat.
“So… there’s an issue. It looks like Chris’ dumbass rear ended you so hard that your rear tire is flat. And I really doubt any tow truck is going to come at this time of night. Even if it does, it will take a while. And I wouldn’t feel safe letting you go alone. It looks like the best option is to drop you off myself at your hotel and have them tow your car in the morning. We can push it to the side of the road so there’s no issues.” Matt says, your heart sinking and you lay your head in your hands in frustration before he even finishes his sentence. Nick frowns and sighs, putting another reassuring hand on your shoulder. “I’m sorry. We’ll pay for all of it, I swear.” He says. You look at him with a smile and turn to Matt, ready to just agree with him so you can be done with this night already before Chris interrupts you. “Why don’t we just take her to the house? It’s literally 5 minutes from here and we don’t know how serious her head injury is.” He suggests.
Chris knows this is a crazy suggestion. First of all, you’re a fan, and you just met not even 30 minutes ago. You could be a psycho killer for all he knows. But Chris likes to believe that he has a strong intuition, especially when it comes to people and he just knows you’re not the type. To be quite honest, he hasn’t been able to take his eyes off you since he first saw you. Even with the rain completely drenching you and what looked like to be some sort of frozen dessert staining the front of your shirt and shorts, he thought you were beautiful. He already felt horrible for fucking up your car and causing you bodily harm. The least he could do was take you to his house and attend to your wounds. Only to make sure you didn’t drop dead on some random hotel carpet. Right?
Everyone looks at him like he has three heads. His brothers exchange concerning glances, awkward silence filling the car. Since when did he just invite random strangers into his house?
“Uhh.. Are you sure? I mean, how do you feel about that..?” Matt asks, looking at you with hesitation. You didn’t respond just yet, still adjusting to the fact Chris Sturniolo is voluntarily inviting you to their home.
“I don’t know…. I think I agree with Chris. I don’t wanna be responsible if you go back to your hotel alone and end up with a concussion or something. No offense.” Nick adds, shrugging his shoulders.
You scoff, extremely surprised at the fact that they’ve taken it this far. “No no no, look. You three have been really nice to me over this whole thing, but its just a little cut. I promise I’ll be fine. My hotel isn’t that far either. I don’t want to intrude and-“
Chris suddenly reaches out and lightly touches your forehead, blood still trickling out and starting to run down the side of your head. You wince in pain and recoil from his touch, your head starting to throb. “See? It’s not just a little cut, is it? You’re actively bleeding, and it obviously hurts. I know you’re just being modest, but I promise I just – we just- want to make sure you’re okay.” He says, his eyes trailing down your face, admiring it briefly, his fingertips ghosting over your jaw before he pulls his hand back. You remain frozen in your seat, butterflies swarming in your lower abdomen from the light touch he left on your face. “Unless you really do feel uncomfortable, then I understand. We can take you to the hotel. But like Nick said, we just don’t want anything bad to happen.” He added softly, turning back around, raking a hand through his hair. Nick and Matt exchange looks again, noticing the obvious tension.
You take in a deep breath and pull Chris’ hoodie tighter around you. “Fine. I guess I see your point. You can take me to your house but once I get this stupid cut on my head cleaned up, I’ll call my friend to come pick me up.” You finally say, buckling your seat belt. You can’t help but notice a small, smug smirk on Chris’ face through the passenger side mirror.
Once they pushed your car to the side of the road, Matt takes off with you in the backseat, your head leaned against the window.
I must be dreaming right? I’m definitely in my bed right now and this is not happening. You think to yourself, the intoxicating smell of Dior Sauvage cologne filling your nose, as you press the sleeve of Chris’ hoodie to the throbbing wound on your head.

If you’re willing to, could you please write a blurb of Spencer Reid being cute and clingy to fem!reader while he’s drunk? Like they’re dating and the team goes out for drinks to celebrate a case or smth and Spencer is super hammered and being all clingy and loveydovey to reader? You’re writing is amazing and you seem super cool so tysmm❤️❤️
Drunk - a Spencer Reid blurb
A/n: hi anon! First of all, thank you so much!! You made my day 😭 <33 anddd i hope this is something along the lines of what you wanted, enjoy!
Pairing: spencer reid x reader
Word count: 500-ish
Warnings: talk about alcohol (everyone is above the legal drinking age), Spencer being a fluffy baby
"God, I'm so glad this case is finally over." Prentiss groaned.
"I second that." You said, taking another sip of your drink.
The case had been exhausting; you had to travel all the way to the west coast and the case lasted a full two weeks. Now, to celebrate, the team had decided to go for some drinks.
Spencer, who was already a bit tipsy, grabbed you hand and intertwined your fingers under the table. You offered him a soft smile and gently squeezed his hand, feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. You forgot the fact that you were sitting at a table full of profilers so you looked confused when you saw everyone smile your way.
"What?" You asked, while Spencer stroked your hand with his thumb.
"Nothing." JJ said innocently, grinning at you.
"You and boy genius over there are being cute, that's all." Morgan said and you could feel your face heating up. Spencer couldn't handle the embarrassment and hid his face in your neck, groaning, which made the whole table say 'aww' at his reaction
"Anyone want a refill?" You offered in order to break the tensions, and everyone nodded, making you wonder how the hell you were gonna carry 7 drinks back to the table. Luckily, Spencer came to your aid.
"I'l come with." He offered with a sweet smile.
He wrapped an arm protectively around your waist on the way there, making you chuckle.
"I'm not going anywhere, Spence."
"Shut up." He grumbled, kissing the top of your head.
"Aren't they the cutest?" Garcia said, having watched the whole thing from the table.
"They sure are." Derek agreed, happy that his two best friends are so in love with each other.
You brought the drinks back to the table and took your seat next to Spencer again, who almost immediately put his hand on top of your thigh.
"Someone's clingy." You said quietly, nudging him.
"So?" He said with puppy eyes, kissing your cheek.
"Get a room, guys." Rossi joked at which he received Reid's middle finger. To further prove his point, he went full for your lips. The whole table groaned which made both you and Spencer smile into the kiss.
"So, when are we getting a baby genius?" Hotch asked smiling.
"Oooh, yes please! I love babies!" Garcia exclaimed, tipsy. "And you guys too!"
"Baby girl, you ship these two way too hard." Derek laughed.
You kind of zoned out of the conversation, feeling Spencer rest his head on your shoulder. You would never admit it to anyone, but you thought he was absolutely adorable when he was drunk. He made you feel ways you had never felt with anyone before. He made you feel safe, like you didn't have to pretend with him. You could just be who you were and not worry about it.
"I love you." He whispered into your neck, placing a kiss there.
You smiled and kissed the top of his head.
"I love you too, Spencie."

✷ Not Worth It: Your hands lovingly rubbed the pieces of cotton over Jaehyun's cheekbone, cleaning the blood that insisted to run down. "It's okay to lose sometimes, babe" you consoled him, aware that losing a boxing fight was never easy on your boyfriend. He often kept his eyes low, as if he was too embarrassed to face anything. On those occasions, you liked to kiss his knuckles to remind him he was holy to you, precisely where the impact with the boxing gloves caused deep red bruises. Kisses turned into bites. Bites, into licks, and when you noticed, you were already sucking on his fingers like your life depended on it, your saliva lubing their every inch, glowing under the dim light of your bedroom. You had to show him. Had to show Jaehyun he deserved it all. So you had him lie back down as you undressed and turned on your knees, letting him watch with a bulging cock as you played with your cunt and ass, sliding your favorite plug in and letting it sit inside until you were ready, gripping the sheets hard as your boyfriend pushed in, filling your back hole slowly not to hurt you. “This is just for you, my man,” you made sure to outline, with your head pressed to the pillow as your ass was stretched with the girth of his tip. “That’s it, you’re the best-” you whimpered, sliding one hand lower to rub your swollen clit. “You’re the best, Jaehyun.”
✷ Devotion: You took a deep breath when your husband poured some white wine between your legs, making your bare pussy glisten before he dived in for a taste, tongue darting out to slurp on your juices. “It tastes so good, my love,” Jaehyun praised, brown eyes ravishing with the wanton ideas filling his head. What was a man to do if not make sure his wife came back home and had a relaxing night? What was his role but to ensure you had some rest after all the work meetings and decision making? Jung Jaehyun knew his place. It was his responsibility to take care of you: cook your favorite meals, prepare you aromatic baths, massage the knots out of your muscles with the mere pressure of his thumbs. “Such a yummy pussy, I love it so much,” he added, using his fingers to spread your pussy lips and make space for his tongue to take broad licks from your entrance to your clit. Then, his tongue focused solemnly on it, licking the tiny bundle of nerves from one side to the other until you were shaking on the chair and your husband was slightly drunk, pouring some more wine before he sucked your clit inside his mouth.
✷ She Got a Man: "Does your husband know?" Jaehyun grunted in your ear, speeding his hips as he fucked you raw from behind, the same hands he used for chopping firewood now gripping your hips mercilessly. He was known for being the most helpful lumberjack in your village: everyone loved him. The grannies, the teachers, the priest... And yet there he was, cock buried deep in your cunt, eyes clouded with desire and sin. "Does your husband know you've been wanting me to fuck you dumb since we were still in school?" You had just confessed it: how you had a crush on him since you were sixteen, before he moved abroad and you found someone else. Someone that never compared to him, his calloused hands, the roughness of his breath against your neck. At your silence, Jaehyun landed a hard slap to your ass cheek, making you hiss. "Answer me." You looked at him over your shoulders, eyes burning with fire. "He doesn't." A sly grin blossomed on Jaehyun's lips. "Then we should tell him." He pushed your panties to the side even more so he could have a broad view of your pussy lips gripping him hard. "I'll send you back to him with my cum all stuffed in your pussy."
✷ West Coast Love: “Shh, be quiet. We don’t want to get caught, do we?” His words were smooth, breathed into your neck as you sat between his legs, your own spread on the hot crystal sand. Your bikini bottom was pushed to the side, exposing not only the recent tan lines on your hips, but your drenched cunt, stuffed with two of Jaehyun’s fingers. You tried keeping your eyes open, but even the graceful orange palette in the sky, waving the afternoon goodbye, was not enough to make you pay attention. You bit the inside of your cheek in an attempt not to moan, thankful whatever god existed that there were not many people around, as your boyfriend fingered your cunt right then and there, at the beach. The tip of his fingers pressed your walls exactly where you were the most sensitive, and it made you grip his arm, hard. “Go… Gonna squirt,” you warned, already feeling the familiar coil in your stomach, hand in hand with the pressure down your navel. “Go on, baby,” it was Jaehyun’s freeing reply, his palm rubbing against your clit with every thrust. He loved it when you squirted, your nectar smelled so good, it made him want to lick you whole. “Squirt all over my hand.”

“Oh-fuck,” you whimpered out breathlessly as your boyfriend kissed your inner thigh. One of his hands was hovered over the wetness between your legs while his other gripped your hand tightly. Adam chuckled against your thigh, placing one more sweet kiss to the skin before he came up to capture your lips in a sweet chaste kiss.
“Mmm,” he hummed into the kiss, “I’ve missed you so much.”
“I missed you more Adam.”
Your boyfriend had been away on a three game road trip to the west coast. You wanted to go along with him, but as much as you loved your boyfriend, school and work came first. Since you couldn’t make it, Adam made sure to come see you as soon as he got back in Columbus.
“I missed your soft lips…” he trailed off as he kissed your lips again. He kept his bright blue eyes on yours, a playful smirk on his face as he brought his head back down between your legs.
“Missed these thighs.” Adam left a trail of gentle kisses along your inner thigh, the feeling of his touch sending chills through your body.
Oh how you missed this…
“But most of all I missed your sweetness. I missed how good you taste, beautiful.” Adam lined his face up with your dripping core, eyes growing dark with lust as he eyed the wet spot on your light pink panties. He wet his lips as his mouth watered from his imagination running wild with thoughts of your sweet juices overwhelming his taste buds.
He needed to taste you right now.
Adam kept his blue eyes locked on yours as he bit down on the waistband of your pink panties. He slowly started to pull the fabric away from your waist. You lifted your legs slightly, giving him just enough room to slide pull your panties down your legs with his mouth. Adam wet his lips and looked like a starved man as he stared at your aching, dripping womanhood. Your breath hitched in the back of your throat as your boyfriend ripped your panties out of his mouth and threw them off to the side where his hockey bag and pre-game suit was thrown. Adam lowered his head back down to your dripping core, wasting no time in instantly lapping at your glistening folds.
You threw your head back, moaning out Adam’s name in pleasure as he lapped at your soaking core all for him.
“Fuck Adam.” you whimpered out as Adam ate you out like a starved man. He had been away from you much longer than he wanted, so he wanted to savor every moment he could between your thighs.
Adam chuckled against your folds, the vibration sending what felt like an electric shock through your body. Adam brought his hands up to your thighs, keeping your legs spread open as he buried his tongue into you, lapping up all of you while his tongue hit your clit and made your toes curl. Adam moaned against your core as the taste of your sweet juices hit his taste buds.
The sounds of your whimpers and the slurps of your boyfriend’s mouth as he savored your sweetness filled your bedroom. You bucked your hips as Adam sucked at your clit, the feeling of his tongue and the vibration of his moans had you feeling overstimulated in the best way possible.
Head from Adam was something you’d never get tired of.
"You taste amazing, baby." Adam praised as he took a hand off of your thigh, “So sweet. Just like candy…” He placed a hand over your aching womanhood, letting his thumb rub circles against your clit as he continued to lap at your soaked core. The feeling of both his tongue and fingers brought you closer to your climax. You bucked your hips slightly as Adam’s movements quickened. His jaw clenched with each swipe of his tongue and the muscles in his forearm flexed with each stroke of his thumb. Your chest heaved as Adam licked a stripe up your core, making sure every last bit of your arousal his hit tongue.
“That’s it beautiful. You sound and taste so sweet. Keep it up for me.” Adam praised. He knew how much you loved his praises in the bedroom.
You brought your hands down to the back of your boyfriend’s head, gripping the ends of his dark hair as you pushed him closer to your center. Adam panted against you, feeling your walls clench around his tongue as you grew close to your release. You let out a whimper, feeling the coil in your belly threaten to snap if Adam’s tongue kept up the pace. You were getting so close from the way the your chest rose and fell and how your hips were bucking every time Adam’s tongue swirled over your clit.
“Adam,” you whimpered out in a pant, “so close. Please…”
“Cum for me baby. Let me taste you, all of you…”
You let out a few more whimpers, moaning Adam’s name in pleasure as you felt the familiar warmth in your lower belly. Soon enough, your chest was heaving as it all came crashing down and you were overcome with complete pleasure and bliss. Adam lapped up your juices with his tongue, pulling his face away from your soaked core once he was satisfied with how he cleaned you up. He licked his lips dry, making sure to get every last drop of you into his mouth.
You laid back against the mattress, chest heaving up and down as you came down from your orgasmic high. Adam laid down next to you, wrapping you up in his arms as you laid down on his chest.
“Addy,” You breathed out. The nickname you gave your boyfriend made him smile softly as he started stroking your arm. “That was amazing.” You finished. Adam chuckled as he pressed a soft kiss to your temple, “Yes it was. Don’t need dessert anymore after that.”
You craned your neck up to look at him, squinting your eyes slightly, “ And why’s that?” You inquired as a smirk pulled at your lips from his playful tone.
“Because baby,” he smirked, “You’re just like candy, you’re so sweet.”

Steve hadn’t planned for his life to amount to this, he’d simply blinked and found himself in a new decade, still rewinding tapes at Family Video. Granted, he’s district manager now and has several stores in the area he’s responsible for.
Meanwhile, Eddie got the hell outta dodge and Corroded Coffin actually made something of themselves. Two albums under their belt and a forth-coming world tour after the holidays, and, more recently, a cover on the Rolling Stone. Ed had called him up once it was all finalized, “Can you fuckin’ believe it man?!”
And, Steve loves Eddie, so he could actually believe it. He tries and fails to keep his jealousy at bay, Ed is one of his best friends for christ sakes. Steve is happy for him, he really is, despite the revolving doors at rehab centers dotting the west coast, late night calls from strangers because Munson passed out in someone’s bathroom again.
He is, after all, Eddie’s emergency contact. Gareth approached him after the second stint at rehab and suggested it, thought it would be the best all things considered. Steve readily agreed and signed the forms, kept his pager on him, and dutifully smoothed things over when Eddie’s benders got a bit too much.
So, he’s rewinding tapes when his pager goes off. He glances at the number and drags the phone across the counter. Nestling the handset between his shoulder and cheek, he punches in the numbers and shoves the tape in a plastic case to be shelved later.
“Hello, this is Hawkins Memorial Hospital. How may I direct your call?” a kind, if perfunctory voice recites. He can hear the hustle and bustle of the hospital waiting room, muted conversations and the ringing of phones.
“Hi, this is Steve Harrington. I received a page from this number regarding Eddie Munson.” Steve eyes the clock, he’s on closing shift by himself already having sent he employees home to celebrate with their families.
“Yes, one moment please.” The receptionist places him on hold, allowing Steve to rewind a couple more tapes and sort them for shelving. “Mr. Harrington?” the line roars back to life, no longer the receptionist, but the doctor in charge of Eddie’s care instead. “Mr. Munson came into the hospital unresponsive but breathing, he was revived by a…” He rattles off a name that Steve has never heard before. “His, fiancée, as I understand it.”
Steve feels the floor sway under his feet.
Eddie.
With a fiancée?
“She’s here now and in a bit of shock, as you can expect. Since you’re his emergency contact, we wanted to alert you of his current state as well as get any contact information for family and friends that need to be made aware.”
“Oh, uh, sure.”
The doctor continues to relay that they’ve elected to place Eddie under a medically induced coma for the time being, to allow his body to flush the drugs from his system before assessing for any further damage.
Steve is transferred to a medical assistant who takes down Wayne and Hopper’s information. He figures between the two men the job will get done, but let’s be real, it’ll be Joyce that activates the phone tree and calls the kids, and he plans to swing by the hospital later that evening once he’s closed up.
Grabbing the stack of tapes and begins to shelve them with a shake of his head. It would be just like Eddie to get engaged and not be fucked to tell anyone. Returning to the counter, he fiddles with the cuffs of his flannel shirt— Robin got it for him the last time she swung through town, insisted that Steve’s wardrobe needed some serious upgrading and all but thrust it upon him.
“It brings out your eyes,” She said, leaning against the wall outside the dressing room. Her worn boots kicked against one another, half of her reflected in the mirror while Steve assessed.
“It’s brown.”
“And gold!” She turns him around to press down the collar and pop the first two buttons of the shirt open. “It’s color theory man, just trust me on this, okay?”
Which is how Steve found himself the new owner of several flannel shirts of varying hues. And boots. When he complained it was all too lumberjack-like, Robin shushed him and continued to flirt with the cute check-out girl.
But that had been months ago. It was coming on Thanksgiving now and his two best friends had been too busy traveling or showing art pieces to even call. He doesn’t mind, not really— well, he tries not to. Steve gets it, people are busy, things to do and people to see.
The remainder of his shift goes by slowly. Kids home from school, families coming in by the dozen. Steve manages to complete a few menial tasks in between customers, throws on Planes, Trains and Automobiles just to have something on in the background.
He’s helping a regular when his pager beeps again, this time flashing Robin’s number. The door dings as they leave and Steve’s already wedged the phone to balance against his shoulder once more as he leans and elbow on the counter.
“Eddie has a fiancée?!” is the thing she screeches down the line. “When the fuck did that happen? Harrington, you’re supposed to keep me aware of these things!”
He signs and scrubs a hand down his face, “I’m his emergency contact, not his guardian.”
“Have you met her? What’s she like?”
“I don’t—”
“I got the first flight out of the city. Which means I had to go to LaGuardia blech,” She makes a gagging sound down the line. “Jonathan’s picking me up now from Indy. Oh my god, is she pretty?” Robin pings between her travel plans and hypothesizing about Eddie’s girl, “I bet she’s a total knock-out, knowing him. How did they meet? D’ya think she’d pose for me?”
“Slow down there, killer.” Steve laughs, “Might want to meet the girl first before propositioning her.”
She huffs a laugh, “You’re right, of course. She’d probably think I’m insane or something. What would I do without you Stevie?”
“Probably scare off more chicks than you already do.”
“Oh, go fuck yourself Harrington.” Robin’s laugh is loud and warm, soothing something in his gut. “I’ll see you tonight, dingus.”
“Sure, stay safe. Call me later, bye.” He places the phone back in its cradle and has half a mind to check the room behind the curtain, just in case some teenagers slipped past without him noticing, but then the phone rings.
“Thank you for calling Family Video, this is Steve. How may I help you?”
“Uh, hi.” A voice says down the line, small and tight. You introduce yourself, quickly followed by, “I’m at the hospital, with, uh Eddie?”
“Oh! Hi, how’s he doing?”
“Good, still in the coma.”
Steve can hear some voices filtering through the mic, loud and familiar.
“So, Hop and Wayne made it? That’s good.”
“Yeah, yeah, Joyce too. The kids are here too, I guess? It’s all a bit overwhelming.”
He huffs a laugh, “Yeah, I can only imagine.” He occupies himself with the slinky on the counter, much preferring to hear your voice than deal with the families that just walked in, ten minutes to close. “You holding up okay?”
An intake of breath, “Mmhm.”
It’s a feeling he knows well.
You’re overwhelmed by all these people you’d never met, on top of the fact that your fiancee is in a coma. Steve feels like shit, having you handle all of that by yourself. If he hadn’t stupidly sent the mid-shift employees home early, he would have been there to help you navigate it all.
“Joyce wants to know if you’re coming by after work. If we should wait for you,” You say after a beat or two of silence, “Or if you’ll just meet us at the house for Thanksgiving tomorrow?”
Steve rolls his neck in an effort to relieve the built-up tension there, bones popping, he rubs a hand at the nape of his neck. “Could you put her on real quick?”
He listens as the phone changes hands and Joyce’s comforting voice intones, “Steve?”
“She’s freaking out.”
“What?”
He sighs, “The fiancée, she sounds like she’s in a bad way.” He checks out the straggling customers, “Don’t wait on my account. I’ll see Ed after I’m done here.”
“Okay, Steve.”
“Does she have a place to stay? I know Rob is crashing with you and Hop—”
Joyce laughs, “We’ll have a full house I suppose. I can put Jonathan on the couch or something, don’t worry about it Steve.”
“Right. Okay.” He gives the final customer a smile and wave as they wish him a happy holiday. “I’ll see you later.”
Hanging up the phone, Steve walks to the door to turn the lock and flip the sign to ‘closed.’ He lingers against the door, resting his forearms against the bar, watching as the snow falls against the dark sky. Wonders how it is that just from the sound of your voice, he felt himself falling not unlike snowflakes outside.

Earlier that day
Turns out, landing the Corroded Coffin interview was not the boon to your career you thought it would be.
Maybe you’d set yourself up for failure. And it didn’t help that you had one big, fat embarrassing crush on a member of the band. Generally, being a fan of the artist coupled with the tendency to romanticize things in your mind only led to disaster.
Or, in your case, attempting to revive the frontman of the aforementioned band on the bathroom floor.
Eddie Munson was unresponsive at your feet, a panoply of pills and baggies scattered across the floor. Having no time to think, you launch into action— checked for breathing and finding none began CPR followed by chest compressions, all while yelling for help.
Gareth is the one to find you, compressing Eddie’s chest with your two hands in between administering two breaths after every 30 counts.
“Call an ambulance!”
You can’t even bring yourself to feel sorry about your tone, harried and frantic, as he stumbles out to call 911. Thankfully, the paramedics are quick. One paramedic asks, “You’re his fiancée?”
Dumbly, you nod, too in shock to register what’s been said. Someone guides you down the steps and into the front of the ambulance strapping you in with a seatbelt. He can’t just die, you reason, not when Corroded is just taking off— a world tour in the new year and a cover story with Rolling Stone.
Your editor would have your head if something were to go wrong. Munson was notoriously picky with interviews and reporters, it was a miracle they’d approved you for the job. Rumor has it that he’d have much preferred Nancy Wheeler, but the board wasn’t keen to bring in a free-lance reporter for the job.
Somehow, this would be your fault.
Arriving at the hospital isn’t any better. Gareth and the other band members stayed behind to call management and see what was to be done about Eddie, and made you promise to call them once you’d arrived at Hawkins Memorial.
Nevermind that you’re alone in a town you’d never stepped foot in before today. And all at Eddie Munson’s behest.
They rushed him off past the swinging double-doors, out of your reach. Stepping to the front desk, you ask the receptionist where the nearest pay-phone is, and she offers you one of the hospital phones instead.
Dialing the number hastily scribbled onto your hand, your fingers brush along the plastic keys listening for the trill of the ring down the line.
“Hi, Gareth? We made it to the hospital, they took him back with a team of doctors and nurses.”
“You didn’t go back with him?”
“It’s family only, I think?” You scratch the back of your neck nervously. “It’s not a big deal, I can stay in the lobby until you get here.”
“Yeah, that’s gonna be a while…”
He goes on to explain that their team has to meet and discuss next steps. The band can’t leave until they’ve done so and their manager asked them to stay put.
“That’s shitty.”
He hums his agreement.
“And I’m just supposed to stay here by myself? I don’t—”
“That’d be great, that is, if you don’t mind,” Gareth interrupts. “They’ll call his emergency contact soon enough. But we’d really appreciate having someone we know there until then.”
“Oh, okay.”
He thanks you for being so cool with all of this and says his goodbyes. With a short smile, you hand the phone back to the receptionist. Heaving a sigh, you drop your head into your hands and lament, “I was gonna marry him.”
Unbeknownst to you, Eddie’s attending nurse overhears you and recalls how the paramedic who brought him in said something about a fiancee. Turning toward you, she places a delicate hand on your back. You jump with a start and look up.
“You’re the fiancée, right?”
“Wh–”
“It’s okay honey, he’s doing fine. I’ll take you back there now.”
Allowing yourself to be guided by the kind nurse as she prattles on about something or other, you wonder how to get yourself out of this. No one was going to buy that Eddie Munson has a secret fiancee. If he was awake, he’d probably laugh you out of the room himself.
But, as it was, they’d placed him in a medically induced coma to let the drugs work their way out of his system. A small miracle, that. The doctor briefs you on his status, all of which flies directly out of your brain, too focused on how small he looks in the bed. Tubes dripping fluids and machines whirring or beeping every so often. Tattoos a stark contrast to the pallor of his skin, a sharp relief against a marble canvas.
A medical assistant approaches you and asks about an emergency contact or the contact information of family and friends.
“I don’t–”
The dazed look in your eye must give something away because the assistant attempts to pat your back comfortingly before saying they’ll check his personal effects.
The nurse, impossibly kind, rests a hand on your shoulder, “Let him hear your voice, honey.”
Her shoes squeak along the tile floor as she leaves. There’s a brief reprieve where you’re left alone with Eddie in the hospital room. The nurse and medical assistant flit in and out occasionally, making notes in his chart here and there. But you’re transfixed by the man in front of you— beautiful and impossibly out of reach. He was even before the interview, you rationalize, but now he’s even more so. It’s bittersweet, almost, makes you want to reach out and hold the hand at his side, silver rings glinting in the fluorescent lights.
“Hi,” You greet. “I bet you’re wondering what I’m doing here, huh?” You take the seat closest to him. “Well, I didn’t really get a chance to introduce myself, so here it goes.” Taking a sip from the coffee the nurse left to fortify you, you recite your full name. “And I think you should know your family thinks we’re engaged. Never been engaged before, so this is all very sudden for me.” You huff a laugh and roll your eyes, “Um, what I really came here to tell you was, I didn’t mean for this to happen.”
“I don’t know what to do,” You continue, a quasi-one sided conversation and therapy session all in one neat package. “I’m just a reporter for the Rolling Stone. And if you were awake, or hell, even if Gareth were here, I wouldn’t be in this mess. Oh, god not that I’m blaming you.” Your hand finds his arm briefly before you jerk back as if stung, “Shit, sorry.”
“This is not how I pictured my life going, to be honest with you. I thought when I did get engaged, I’d at least have the luxury of knowing my fiancé, or y’know them being conscious at least.” You sigh and take another sip of shitty coffee, “Don’t get me wrong, I love my life— I’ve got a great job and apartment, I get to travel and write for a living. It’s definitely not a bad gig.”
“It’s just, I never met anyone I could truly be myself with, y’know? Laugh with, and I mean ugly laugh with a snort and witch cackle. D’ya ever believe in love at first sight? No, probably not, you’re too rock and roll for that. Or have you even seen someone, and you knew that if only that person really knew you, they would…”
Thinking back to your Corroded Coffin research and tabloid perusals, you sigh. “Of course, they would dump the perfect model that they were with and realize that you were the one they wanted to grow old with.” You shake your head, realizing how ridiculous you sound, talking to a man in a coma who probably can’t even hear you. Your voice falls to a hush, “You ever fall in love with someone you’ve never even talked to? Have you ever been so alone you spend the day confusing a man in a coma?”
“No? Me neither.”
There’s the sound of shuffling of feet echoing from the hallway, followed by a relived: “Oh, there he is.”
A voice startles you from the doorway, deep and masculine, albeit out of breath. A tall, broad man steps into the room quickly followed by a shorter woman and a lankier man. The first addresses you, “You must be the fiancée, I’m Jim Hopper.” He holds out his hand in greeting.
You shake his hand, palm engulfed in his larger one.
“This is my wife, Joyce, and that there is Eddie’s uncle Wayne.”
“He’s so pale,” She laments, crossing the room to his bedside. “Oh, my god.”
You nod to each of them, dropping your hand from Hopper’s. He studies you and you feel like squirming under his gaze, he’s still in uniform but sets his hat on a nearby chair. Great, just what you needed, a police chief to sniff you out.
Grabbing your things, you ready yourself to leave. “There’s been a misunderstanding. I should—”
“Nonsense,” Joyce says from opposite of you, she brushes a few strands of hair away from Eddie’s face. “The kids’ll be here soon and they’ll want to meet you.”
Wayne claps a hand to your shoulder, warmly giving it a squeeze.
“The doctor said you found him and gave him CPR until the paramedics arrived?”
“Oh, um, yeah.”
“They say the only reason he was breathing when they brought him in was because of you.” His voice is hoarse, he coughs into his fist and clears his throat. “Thank you, for that.”
“It’s what anyone would’ve done.”
He squeezes your shoulder once more, “Not necessarily,” and moves off to sit in one of the chairs.
“The doctor should be back soon,” You say, sitting beside Wayne. “He said the vital signs and brainwaves were looking good.”
Joyce nods and shoots you a smile, making idle chit-chat while the rest of you wait for the kids to arrive. There was some concern over Wayne and his heart condition, doesn’t take to shocking news too well, as you understand it. But who are these kids, Eddie’s kids? You didn’t recall coming across any mention of a previous wife or children in your research, but there are stranger things for rockstars to get up to than having a secret family you suppose.
It’s only when Wayne nudges you with his foot that you realize Joyce has been calling your name, “Where are you staying?”
“Oh, a hotel for the night.” You say softly, “I have to get back to New York soon.”
“Well, I won’t hear of it.” Joyce says looking to Hopper, “She’ll stay with us, won’t she Jim?”
He looks back at his wife and seeing her steely resolve, he knows better than to argue with her. “Sure, you’ll spend the holiday with us.”
Damn.
“Oh, we should see if we need to wait for Steve,” Joyce notes, just as a gaggle of people walk in. “Hi kids!” She stands quickly to greet them, their names coming too fast for you to keep up. A man and woman about your age bring up the rear, Joyce hugging them in turn.
Quietly, you step out to collect yourself. After taking a few breaths, you spot the medical assistant from earlier and flag him down for the emergency contact information. He scribbles a name and several phone numbers on a scrap of paper, “I would try this one first,” He points to the middle number, “It’s the work line, I think.”
“Great, thank you!”
Entering the room again, Wayne introduces you as Eddie’s fiancee and rescuer, to whoops and hollers. The younger woman lets out a wolf-whistle and drops you a wink, causing the heat to skitter underneath your skin. Making toward the phone, you dial the number and read the name on the paper.
Steve Harrington.
“Thank you for calling Family Video, this is Steve. How may I help you?”
The rich baritone of his voice, strong and deep, brings a quiver to your knees. Stumbling your way through an introduction, you make disastrous small-talk and wave Joyce over. She takes the phone with a smile, pushing you lightly toward the assembled group where the young woman, Robin, takes you under her wing.
“Fiancée, huh?” She asks with a quirked brow, to your noncommittal shrug. “Hmm.” Her eyes sweep toward Eddie, “I think you can do better,” She jokes with a wink.
Tumblr media
Wayne drives you from the hospital to the house, graciously stopping by a grocery store along the way because you didn’t want to show up empty-handed. You make quick work of the deserted aisles, grabbing the necessary ingredients for pumpkin and pecan pie. He helps you to load the bags in the back of the truck and softly croons along to Woody Guthrie as he drives along the icy streets.
A comfortable silence sits between you. Wayne Munson is a man of few words, which is fine by you. The less opportunity for talking yourself into a hole, the better. He comes to a stop in front of a two-storey house festooned with Christmas lights. He carries your bags from the truck into the house, promising Joyce that he’ll be back tomorrow for Thanksgiving. Joyce rolls her eyes fondly and turns back toward the kitchen, leaving the pair of you in the entryway.
You rock back on your heels uncomfortably. Before you can make your escape, Wayne’s hand falls to your shoulder again kneading gently. You glance up to find his watery eyes and quiet smile; he pulls you in for a brief hug. “Thank you sweetheart,” He sighs, followed by a sniff, “I don’t know where he’d be without you, or where we’d be for that matter.” Giving you a final squeeze, he releases you and calls out a goodbye to Hopper and Joyce, shutting the front door behind him.
“Hey kid,” Hopper says, leaning against the bannister. “Join me outside for a minute?” He shrugs into his coat and nods toward the front porch. “Lemme grab my smokes, I’ll meet you out there.”
Well, shit.
It takes everything in you to not give in and pace along the icy boards of the porch as you wait. He’s figured you out, you know he has, and now he’s going to kick you out and you’ll have to call a cab and get back to the hotel before booking it to the airport first thing tomorrow.
“I know you and Munson aren’t involved, kid.” Hopper shuts the front door with a soft click, “Heard you back at the hospital talking to him.”
Your blood goes cold and you know there’s no way you can spin yourself out of this one. “I know, I know and I’m so sorry. It just all happened so fast and Wayne has that heart thing—” Your voice is choked and tight as you try to explain.
“Hey, slow down, take a breath. This isn’t the end of the world.”
“I’ll tell them, I just—”
He shakes his head and lets out a sigh, “Let me level with you,” He brushes off the snow and ice from the top step and invites you to sit down beside him. “God knows what that boy did to earn your attention, cause I certainly can’t make heads or tails of it.” He lights up a cigarette and offers one to you, “No? Can’t say I blame you, it’s a bad habit.” He takes a long drag in thought, leaving you to stew in your guilt. “What I’m trying to say is this: whatever you did, it brought him back. Eddie’s here and breathing because of you, so, in a way, we have him back because of you.”
You stay silent, knowing that whatever Hopper just shared with you is important. The guilt doesn’t leave you, not entirely, but this gruff lawman confiding in you does lodge something loose from the knot in your chest. And when he throws his arm over your shoulders to draw you to his side, you can’t help the watery smile that makes its way across your face.
He smells like your dad, the same blend of tobacco, leather, and spice. It’s been far too long since you’ve indulged in the memory of him, so you allow yourself the weakness, just this once.
And you let Hopper lead you back inside his loud and warmly lit home where Joyce greets you with a plate for dinner and promises to help you bake the pies for tomorrow.

Steve is dead on his feet when he arrives at Hop and Joyce’s house. He’d swung by the hospital to check on Eddie and talked with the doctor and nurses. It was all pretty standard— let him dry out and then assess for further damage. His vitals were good and there didn’t appear to be a need for concern at this point. The doctor, of course, recommended a stay in rehab after being discharged from the hospital, which was already suggested by Corroded’s management team.
“You fucking idiot.”
That’s the first thing Steve says to Eddie, quickly followed by:
“When you wake up, I’m gonna kill you myself.”
He doesn’t linger, knowing he’ll be back tomorrow, and the next day until Eddie wakes up. But it’s gone midnight by the time he turns the key at Hop’s place, kicking his boots at the door to rid them of the snow and ice, before toeing them off at the door. They thunk across the hardwood as he carelessly kicks them off, shrugging out of his coat and hanging it on the hooks by the door.
“Sshh, dingus, you’re gonna wake her up!” Robin hisses as her socked feet light down the stairs.
Steve smiles, relieved to see her, before asking, “Wake up who?”
Robin rolls her eyes and gestures to your sleeping form on the sofa. Steve studies you from a few steps up, one hand resting on the wooden bannister while the other pauses mid-air as he unravels his scarf. “Eddie’s fiancée, of course.”
“So, that’s her?”
You’ve turned your back to them, and you’ve curled in ever so slightly on the sofa. One of Joyce’s many blankets covers you, but your socked feet stick out from underneath one corner— dancing penguins.
At least, that’s what Steve thinks are on your socks. But, he may need to get his eyes checked again.
“What, you haven’t met her?” Robin takes in Steve’s shocked expression, before it softens into something akin to how he goes all moon-eyed at the babes who frequented Scoops Ahoy or Family Video when they were teens as his eyes fall to you once more. “She’s great, you’ll love her. Now c’mon, let’s get you some food.”
“Cereal?”
She snorts at that, “Not my cereal. You took the toy surprise last time!”
Safely ensconced in the kitchen, Robin and Steve catch up in between bites of sugary cereal. She regales him with how valiantly Jonathan tried to get you to take his room upstairs for your stay and how stubbornly you’d refused, insisting you’d be fine on the couch.
“I was right,” Robin says, some milk dribbling from her mouth as she chews. “Total knock-out and smart. Dunno how Munson managed it.”
“Oh y’know, the Munson charm probably.”
She hums in thought, setting her empty bowl in the sink. “Why d’you think he didn’t tell us?”
“Maybe he wanted it to be a surprise?”
“Fuck, what if he knocked her up?!”
Steve’s eyes blow wide at that thought. “Uh,” He says, astutely, “I don’t think that’s the case.”
“Yeah,” Robin hops down from her perch on the counter. “But how do we know?”
“You could ask her.”
She punches him in the arm, “You don’t just ask women if they’re pregnant Steve, geeze.”
He shrugs and slurps the sugary milk from the bowl before setting it alongside Robin’s. He licks his lips and crosses his arms in thought. Steve hadn’t considered the rather obvious conclusion that his rockstar best friend had inadvertently knocked someone up. Considering the groupies and types that flocked to Eddie, it was a long time coming.
If that’s what the case may be.
As it stands, it’s nearly two in the morning and Steve is exhausted. Thankfully, Family Video is closed for the holiday tomorrow, but he knows that in a few hours everyone is going to tramping around the house and generally being a nuisance. And he really doesn’t wanna drive clear across town to his place.
Steve pauses on the stairs, watching the steady rise and fall of your chest. Robin clears the landing and calls to him from the guest room, “C’mon dingus, I haven’t got all night.”
With a shake of his head, he climbs the stairs mindful not to linger too long on the creaky boards. He settles in sharing a bed with Robin, her icicle feet darting under his calves as he fusses with the blankets. His head hits the pillow, and he’s out like a light.

All you can think as you blearily blink yourself awake, is how everything is so loud. Even when they try to be quiet, scampering across the hall past the living room where you clung to the last vestiges of sleep - it was loud. Strained whispers about breakfast and hospital visits, the opening and closing of doors, Hopper hissing at the kids to “Keep your mouths shut,” and to “Stop chasing each other across the house!”
A man, whom you can only assume is Steve, stumbles down the stairs, sweats swung low on his hips sporting a threadbare t-shirt and rubbing the sleep from his eyes. You’ve never seen a human being with bedhead like that - strands sticking up every which way and the sheer volume it had, my god. Hand falling from his eye, his glasses slot back into place, a pair of simple round frames decked in silver. He stops short at the landing, one hand grasping the wood of the bannister, watching as you set the phone back in its cradle.
“Leaving so soon?”
And that voice - all husky and low from sleep, with a slight rasp to it. It’s amazing you’re not reduced to a puddle on the floor at this point. He stretches slowly, like an animal would, a hushed groan falling from his lips. You swallow the lump in your throat and drag your eyes from the sliver of skin exposed at his hip.
“No, just talking to Wayne.” You offer meekly, voice rusty from disuse, “He’s on his way over for an early morning hospital run.”
“Mmm,” Steve nods, “That’s not a bad idea.” He turns the corner from the stairs and stands beside you in the entryway. “I don’t think we’ve officially met,” He says, offering his hand to shake. “I’m Steve.”
“Nice to meet you.” You shake hands and introduce yourself. His hand is large and warm, the contact of your skin against his sending a shiver down your spine.
“That’s a pretty name,” He smiles at you, beginning to wake up a bit more. “So, you’re the fiancée.”
“Yup.”
“Huh.” He looks you up and down, clucks his tongue and departs, making his way toward the kitchen.
Once there, all hell breaks loose. Joyce and Hop are manning the stove and counter, flipping pancakes and shovelling eggs onto plates and all but throwing them at the kids. Wedged into the breakfast nook are Dustin, Lucas, and Mike while El, Max, Robin, and Jonathan commandeer the table in the kitchen.
“Mornin’ family.” Steve greets, bee-lining for the coffeemaker. Blessedly, there’s a fresh pot brewing in the percolator while he scavenges for a mug.
Mumbled versions of “Morning Steve,” sound out from the peanut gallery between bites of food and sips of coffee or orange juice. Joyce sets a plate in front of him on the counter and ruffles his hair, “Morning kiddo.”
Hop sighs from the stove, turning the dial of the burner to ‘Off’ before intoning, “The kitchen is officially closed, you gremlins.”
Steve chuckles as he removes the coffeepot and gives a generous pour into the ‘World’s Best Dad’ mug El made many moons ago. He’s not sure of your preferred cream-to-sugar ratio, so he decides to go without and trots out of the kitchen.
He sees the front door close at the end of the hall and quickens his step not wanting to miss you. Spying a pair of slides from god knows who, he slips them on and pulls the door open. Wayne’s old pickup is idling in the driveway as you step into the cab, feet unsteady and the newly formed ice of the drive. Wayne nods to Steve in greeting as he walks toward the house, while Steve waves in return.
“Careful,” He says as a hand comes to rest at your back.
Tossing a ‘thanks’ over your shoulder, you settle into the seat with a click of the seatbelt. “Did you need something?” You ask, breath forming puffs of vapor in the morning light.
“Well, uh,” Steve begins, ducking his head and gesturing to the mug in his hand. “The coffee’s not too great over there at the hospital.” He hands you the mug through the open door.
“Oh, thank you.”
He leans against the car, face level with yours. One fist at the roof of the cab while his opposite arm braces against the open door. A lock of hair falls into his face, and he’s so attractive that it’s stupid. “So, uh, y-you’re comin’ back, right? You’ll come back?”
You glance to him, unsure of why he’s so concerned with your whereabouts. “Yeah, we’re just checking in. We’ll be back soon.”
Steve nods at your confirmation, pushing off of the truck to stand at his full height. His hands slide to his hips, fingers just beneath the band of the sweatpants as he slowly arches his back, hips bobbing toward you. And you don’t know whether to maintain eye contact with him or focus on the looming proximity of his crotch.
“Oh boy,” He exhales, looking off into the distance. “What a day.”
Your eyes dart away when he looks to you once more, uncomfortable under his scrutiny. “Well, thank you.” You hold the mug up and take a tentative sip, “Good goddamn,” You whisper in disbelief.
“It’s good, right?” You nod and take another sip as he smiles, “I had a dream about you last night.” He tugs at the band of his sweats while your eyes cut to his.
“What?”
“Yeah,” He leans against the truck again, face closer to yours and arms resting against the roof of the cab. “I ended up havin’ a dream about you.”
“W-what was I doing?” You stammer out, as the sound of crushed snow and ice underfoot signals Wayne’s return.
“Well–” Steve starts to say before he’s cut off by Wayne’s, “Y’ready, sweetheart?”
You nod and clear your throat uncomfortably.
“You comin’?” Wayne asks Steve before he closes the passenger door.
“Later.” He turns to leave as Wayne settles into the driver’s seat but before you can pull out of the driveway, “Oh, y’know, you gotta make sure to bring back the mug because it’s Hop’s favorite.”
You stare back at him blankly.
“Or he’ll kill ya.”
“Okay,” You breathe watching as he makes his way back to the house, Adidas slides flopping through the snow.
Tumblr media
Returning from the hospital an hour or so later, with plans to bring a few plates over for Eddie’s attending doctor and nurses, you nearly breeze past Steve sitting on the staircase with a mug of coffee and paper in hand.
“Hey,” You greet, toeing off your boots and shrugging out of your coat. “Wayne’s coming back for later, just had to grab some things from his place.”
He’s changed out of his sweats and done something to tame his hair. You can hear Joyce frantically corralling the kids in the kitchen, something about Mass and how she refuses to be late again. Steve shakes his head and drinks his coffee, ready and waiting to cart Robin, Dustin, and Max over to Our Lady of Perpetual Mercy for the Thanksgiving Mass.
But it would seem that no one warned you about Mass last night, which would explain the deer in headlights look you’re sporting now. Steve stands from his perch on the stairs, turning to yell at Robin, “Our Lady may have perpetual mercy, but I don’t and you’re really pushing it today Rob!”
When he turns back, you’re no longer in the entryway. The kitchen door swings as if someone just passed through, and he can hear your voice over the chatter from the kids. Joyce is rattling off instructions and times for food to be cooked and you’re diligently taking notes on the whiteboard attached to the fridge. Your handwriting is neat, and a bit slanted, giving it an effortless look. Capping the marker, you let it swing from the string on the fridge.
“Think that about does it,” You assure Joyce, gesturing to the lone velcro roller in her hair. “I’ll have everything ready by the time you get back.”
“Are you sure you don’t want to come with?” She asks, unraveling the roller and setting it on the windowsill above the sink. “I’m sure Robin has something you could borrow.”
Steve catches your eye roll and snorts into his mug. Your eyes cut to him, silently admonishing his outburst. He shakes his head and sets the mug on the counter, seeing Hop’s mug he loaned you earlier already on the drying rack.
“I don’t want to be a bother,” You kindly brush her off, “Besides, you’ll want to get going soon and I would just hold you up.”
“And the hotel is dropping off your luggage later?”
You nod, tying on an apron and moving to wash your hands. “Yeah, I spoke with the concierge this morning.”
“I wish you’d just sleep in Jonathan’s old room,” Joyce tuts, “He can go on the couch, he’s used to it.”
“Mom, I already offered—”
You laugh and raise your hand, “It’s fine Joyce, I’m already an imposition as it is. The last thing I’d want to do is put him out.”
Steve watches as you blend in with the family, how easily you soothe Joyce and her worries, banter with the kids, and crack jokes with Hop. It’s easy to see why Eddie could fall for someone like you. He just wishes he could find someone like that— easy going and kind, someone who fits in like a missing puzzle piece.
But maybe it’s too perfect.
Now there’s some food for thought.
A loud honk from Hop’s Bronco jars him from his musings. Steve claps his hands together, rallying the troops, “Okay, who’s with me?” Dustin, Lucas, and Max jump up from the table and gather their coats, scurrying out to the beemer. Robin takes the stairs two at a time, struggling to shrug into her coat. “Look alive, sunshine!”
Goodbyes ring out as you follow them to the porch, watching as they clamber into their cars. You wave as they pull out of the drive, Joyce rolling down the window for a final reminder about the dinner rolls. With good humor, you nod and give her a thumbs up as the Bronco drives onto the street.
The church parking lot is packed by the time they arrive. Steve drops off Robin and the kids before peeling out to find a parking spot, while Hop leaves the Bronco in the drop-off lane in front. Mass has already begun when Steve enters the chapel, quickly he slips in alongside Hop and Joyce at the family pew.
“We pray that the Lord’s healing presence will be felt by those who are sick and by their families. Especially Robert Newby, Barbara Holland, and Edward Munson. We pray to the Lord,” The priest intones from the lectern.
“Lord hear our prayer.”
Steve stands in between Hopper and Robin, waiting for the priest to move it along.
“O, God, you call us to live as one family. Save us from…”
Finally, they sit. Half-paying attention to the priest, Steve turns to Hop and asks, “So, who’s this fiancée?”
“She’s Eddie’s girl, she’s family now.”
“You’d think if Eddie were getting married, he would have announced it in the Times.”
Hop turns to him, “We read the Indianapolis Star.”
And the congregants say, “Amen.”
“If she’s family, why isn’t she at Mass with us?”
Hop snorts, “That’s rich, comin’ from you, kid.”
“I like Mass better in Latin,” Wayne pipes up from his seat next to Joyce, “It’s nicer when you don’t know what they’re sayin’.”
“D’ya think about what I said the other night?”
“Nope.”
“Steve, come on.” Hop stands with the rest of the congregation, “You’ve got the instinct for it, and gettin’ through the Academy is a breeze.”
“I told you,” Steve says following suit, “I don’t wanna be a cop for chrissakes.”
“Stop swearing,” Joyce hisses, “We’re in Mass.”
“But there is something I’d like to talk to you about.”
“Well, you can talk about it later,” Joyce reminds them.
“Talk about it now,” Robin says leaning toward Steve conspiratorially, “He can’t kill you in church.”
“Will you please pipe down?” An exasperated parishioner asks from the pew behind them.
Hop scoffs and slowly turns around, “Hey, be nice, pal. We’re in church.”
“You’re disrupting the Mass!” He hisses back.
“Yeah? And who made you the Pope?”
“Jim!” Joyce hisses, nudging with an elbow.
“Now how did Argyle get to be a lector?” Wayne asks, “He took over Ed’s gig with Reefer Rick after he moved to LA with the band.”
Steve and Hopper snort, Robin tries and fails to repress her laughter. Down past Wayne, Dustin and Mike are a few seconds from a slap fight while Max and El whisper in between fits of giggles. Joyce sighs deeply.
And the congregation says, “Amen.”
Tumblr media
Cooking Thanksgiving lunch goes off without a hitch. Everything was ready, as you promised, by the time they’d returned from Mass and you’d caught the tail end of Joyce’s scolding: “We will try to behave as a civilized family might—”
The kitchen door swung open to reveal Hopper and Joyce both stopping short at the sight of you washing dishes.
“H-how did you—” Joyce’s mouth opens and closes, struck dumb at the sight of gleaming dishes in the drying rack and the dishwasher already running.
“Oh, hi,” You toss over your shoulder, “The dining room table is set, I was just cleaning up in here.”
Steve and Robin file in soon after, bickering about something or other. They’re talking fast and cutting each other off, but it doesn’t deter their conversation.
“Why do you keep singling me out?” Steve balks, throwing his coat on the back of a nearby chair.
“Well, if you hadn’t been pestering Hop throughout Mass we might’ve—”
“And I can’t even defend myself?”
“Forget it,” Hop cuts in with a warning tone, “And I know you gave her my mug, Harrington.”
“Oh, did you need it?” Your hand flies to the cabinet above the coffeemaker, a fresh pot already brewed. “It’s all washed and ready to go.”
Dustin enters shortly after, “Let’s just vote Steve off the island,” and thumps him on the chest in passing.
“Yeah,” Hop agrees.
Steve sighs and runs a hand through his hair, “Well, I’m ashamed of all of you.”
“Oh, there’s some news,” Max mutters sarcastically, leaning against the fridge.
Steve’s eyes fall to Lucas, “Even you Sinclair.”
Lucas throws up his hands in exasperation, “I didn’t even do anything!”
“Okay, enough.” Joyce says cutting through the nonsense. “It’s Thanksgiving, we’re going to eat lunch without any of this bickering. And then, with any luck, you lot will pass out watching the game and I can finally get some goddamn peace.”
Everyone has the decency to look mildly embarrassed, that is until:
“No swearing.”
Steve punches Robin in the arm, “Can it.”
The room descends into guffaws and fits of laughter shortly thereafter. Joyce eventually herds everyone into the dining room, Robin pours the drinks while Hop carves the turkey. Everyone helps themselves to the various sides— dinner rolls, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and roasted veggies. Wayne arrives with cornbread fresh from the oven and some vanilla ice cream to go with the pies for dessert.
The candles are lit casting a warm glow around the room, illuminating smiling faces. And it’s nice. Nice to belong, if only temporarily, to a big family that loves hard. Growing up, it had been only you and your dad. And after his death, that left only you. You had missed it, all of it— the inside jokes, sibling taunts, half-assed scolding followed by a cheeky wink, and that effortless touch.
It was second nature, how freely they expressed their affection for one another. Steve roping Dustin into a half-nelson for a noogie, Jonathan and Will kicking eachother under the table, El and Max communicating in half-formed sentences and wild gesticulations, Joyce, Hop, and Wayne sharing long-suffering sighs.
“Hey,” Robin says, nudging you with her elbow after refilling your wine glass. “I’m thankful for you.” Her voice is soft, like she’s sharing a secret. Cheeks tinged with a flush from the wine, she smiles at you and raises her glass. “I’d like to propose a toast,” She announced to the group, “To our newest addition and guardian angel, cheers!”
The sentiment is echoed across the table, calls of your name and ‘here, here.’ And it’s so kind that your heart could burst. You sip your wine and swallow around the lump in your throat. Going back to your meal, you can’t help but feel like you’re being watched, observed. Glancing up, you catch Steve looking at you from across the table.
The flicker of golden light against his face does little to ease the knot in your chest. His hair is slightly disheveled, a lock falling across his face wrought loose from his fingers combing through it. His eyes appear more green than hazel in the light, studying you from behind wire frames. Your pulse kicks up under his scrutiny, and he looks at you as if you’ll unravel right then and there.
Maybe this was a mistake. Maybe it was the years of tropical vacations instead of celebrating holidays with friends and family that made you forget that, actually, families are complicated and any recollection of pleasant holiday celebrations spent with your dad were a figment of your own nostalgia-tinted imagination and the promise of skiing the next day.
For a moment, shame creeps upon you like a thief in the night. You tear yourself from Steve's gaze, not noticing the concerned furrow of his brows as you hastily stand and offer to clear some plates from the table. Sweeping out of the room and nudging the kitchen door open with your hip. He absentmindedly swirls the remaining wine in his glass and blows out a puff of air.
Ever the detective, it takes Hopper all of two seconds to ascertain that Steve did something to hasten your departure from the table. Seeing as the punk is pointedly not looking his way, Hopper lobs a dinner role at Steve, grazing his cheek only to land on his plate sending the cutlery clattering. He jerks upright, setting the glass on the table, “What the–”
“That’s enough,” Hop warns with cool detachment and a knowing look in his eye. He nods toward the kitchen, “Now, go make nice.”
Everything is still mostly out of your control in the kitchen, precisely because you don’t know where anything should go and having a knot in your chest as hard as a rock does little to help matters. But Steve silently rescues you by beginning to unload the dishwasher and Robin starts a thirty minute tale of increasing ridiculousness and by the time the attention turns back to you, you are slightly less hysteric and better able to answer El’s kind questions.
You swallow a twist of guilt and a bigger twist of gratitude. You feel some anxiety brimming in your stomach and nod, giving El a strained smile.
Something knocks against your shoulder. The warm scent of cedar and musk invading your senses— Steve.
“Your shoulders are up near your ears,” he observes.
You sigh at that, trying to roll out the tension, but not quite managing to. Par for the course, with your indeterminate stay in Hawkins looming in the air and stretching far across the foreseeable future.

it wasn’t a secret, that ellie williams, was a drug dealer. it wasn’t also a secret that you were her best friend.
your story begun at the junior year at high school. ellie just changed school ‘cause her former teachers didn’t like her ‘problematic behaviour’ so her adoptive dad Joel decided, it would be better for his daughter to continue her education somewhere else.
you, being one of the best students, were chosen to give her a tour, and introduced ellie to your classmates.
few weeks later you found yourself hanging out with her almost every day of the week. and this continued till nowadays when you both are at the same college, sharing one dorm.
you were just sitting on your bed, just thinking about how it all happened, how you met jesse and dina, oh and ellie, mainly ellie. she was constantly on your mind since you met her. at first you thought it was just a silly crush, but years later you realised, you loved her way more than she thought.
for the last months ellie has been really flirty with you, you thought it was just in a friendly way but it was upsetting you, thinking she doesn’t feel the same.
little did you know that she did fell the same about you, she was just too scared of loosing you,so she rather fucked every other girl on the campus. ellie built herself some reputation over the time she spent fucking around and now when she wanted to do something about it, it might have been too late.
“come in, the door’s open” you yelled after hearing a knock on the door.
“hey, girl” dina, one of your best friends greets you, while stepping into the room. she kicks of her red converse, and basically jumps on your bed to hug you.
when dina notices you’re unusually silent she furrows her eyebrows. “babe you need to stop fucking crying over ellie, i love you both, but she clearly isn’t seeking a relationship so put on that hot dress you have in your closet, and come with me to that party and we’re gonna find you someone who’s gonna treat you better, you know sophie? the masc third year? she’s been eyeing you up since last year” you listened closely to your friend, but the more you were thinking about it, the better it sounded, maybe a little distraction wouldn’t be so bad and dina was right. it’s time for you to move on and find yourself someone who’s gonna treat you right and who know, maybe it’s gonna make ellie jealous a little bit.
in a tight mini dress (you choose the color), heels and light make-up that complimented your face, you entered a house near campus. it’s not that you’ve ever been there before, but it’s the address, dina texted you. stepping in the door you looked around and saw a lot familiar faces. you saw your classmates, you saw jesse at the catering table and then ellie, she was sitting on the couch, man spreading and she was talking to some guy, probably selling weed to him, and before you could start admiring her hands and outfit ofc but also hands, you were trapped in a hug by you brown haired friend you were talking to earlier that day.
by the time she let go of you, her boyfriend jesse, was standing next to her, telling her to move so he could get a hug too. dina quickly grabbed you wrist and guided you to the drink table telling you, that sophie is keeping an eye on you ever since you stepped in the doorframe.
what non of you realised is was the fact, that ellie wasn’t sitting that far from you and overhearing you conversation, made her blood boil.
she knew that the only person, she should’ve mad at was herself but the jealousy was stronger. today was the day when she wanted to confess to you, ellie saw the party as a perfect opportunity, but no, you just had to start pinning over another girl.
when sophie finally decides to walk up to you ellie just let’s out an annoyed huff, rolling her eyes, she lights up her joint and inhale. she watches you closely and her hearing just blurs, when she finally notices, how fucking beautiful and sexy you look. the dress, showing all your curves, and your plumped pink-ish lips smiling at sophie’s words.
ellie felt her anger build up on every giggle you let out at sophie’s ‘lame’ jokes and her eyes widened and she almost coughed while exhaling when she saw you two hand in hand going to the dance floor. she saw the way sophie was looking at you, and there was nothing more ellie wished, than to be at her place.
you knew she was watching, you saw how her jaw clenched and how her eyes darkened with anger. you weren’t sure what you were doing, but you enjoyed sophie’s presence and when west coast by lana del rey started playing, you moved your body even closer to hers and put your arms around her neck, while she rested hers on your hips.
once the song ended you excused yourself, just for a few minutes because you needed to use a bathroom. ellie knew this is going to be her only shot or she may never get another chance ever again, so as soon as you went up the stairs, she went after you.
you were now in the first floor of the house trying to find a bathroom, once you found it, you knocked on the door (just in case) and when just silence was you answer you opened the door and before you had a chance to lock it, you heard a familiar voice. “wait, wait, wait, wait!”
“ellie?” you asked more yourself and opened the door. ellie quickly bursted into the bathroom, closing the door with her foot, and then locking it, so she could make sure, no one will interrupt you two.
“ellie, what are you doing here?” you put your hands on your hips and raised one eyebrow. you were leaning against the cabinet opposite the door, waiting for her answer.
she slowly took few little steps so she could be standing closer to you, just as sophie did, few moments ago, but in her presence sophie was the last thing on your mind. “i’m so sorry, pretty girl, it was stupid to act this way towards you i should’ve had told you long, long time ago”
“should’ve told me what, ellie” the way, her name rolled off your tongue, made her go crazy. she rested her palms on the wall behind you so your head was trapped between her arms, and your eyes were glued to hers. felling her hot breath on your cheek made you feel dizzy.
“that i love you, so fucking much” it was almost a whisper she let leave her lips with a relieving sigh, before she kissed you. she fucking kissed you. you wanted to push her away and list to her all the things she’s done wrong, you really did, but this was stronger than you, so you gave up and kissed her back.
the kiss was soft, romantic almost, filled with all the emotions you two felt for each other. when you ran out of oxygen, you had to pull away, but your foreheads were still touching. “i love you too” was all you could mumble before your lips were connected in a kiss again. this time it was different, more rough and hungry, you felt ellie’s tongue brushing against your lower lip, begging for an entrance. you parted you lips and your pink muscle was immediately met with the auburn haired girl’s one. in a matter of seconds a sweet kiss turned into a hot make out session.
suddenly ellie patted your upper thigh signalising for you to jump, you did and moments later you found yourself sitting on the cabinet with your legs parted so ellie could fit between them. you felt you heat getting wetter and wetter every second and when ellie brushed her knee against you clothed clit, you moaned, into her mouth.
“fuckk” ellie breathed out when she finally m pulled away from the kiss. “baby, i don’t wanna do nothing you don’t-” “ellie, please” you whined, needy for her touches. “please what, pretty girl? huh? tell me what you want, go on” you knew she was doing it on purpose, teasing you with her words, while lazily rubbing circles on your inner thigh. “ellie….i need you to touch me, please.” a smirk appeared on her lips as you threw your head back, thirsting for her touches on the certain place where you wanted her, the most.
“don’t worry, baby, i got you, ‘m gonna do everything you need me to, ‘y just have to be patient sweet girl.” ellie said in low voice, that made you head spin and heart melt.
she rolled you dress up a little bit, so she saw the wet spot on your soft, pink laced panties, that matched your bra. she cursed under her breath. “fuck baby, i barely touched you and your already so wet?” she would lie if she said it didn’t turn her on even more.
you threw your head back and let out a loud moan when ellie started teasing your cunt through the thin fabric of your underwear. suddenly you heard a sharp sound of the material getting ripped and when the cold air hit your heat you immediately knew what probably happened.
“i’ll buy you a new one, i promise” ellie muttered when she noticed your huff. “ellie…” you pouted desperately. “relax, pretty girl” she simply whispered to your each, she started, sucking, bitting and licking spots, on your neck and whenever you let out a sound she took a mental note.
after she was praised enough with her work on your upper chest, neck and shoulders she smiled proudly. “now, everyone gonna know that you’re mine, only mine, you understand?”
“yes, ellie” you were dripping in wetness and all you could think about was wanting her inside you already. “good girl” she praised you and then you felt her fingers teasing you clit.
“fuck-ellie” you were moaning her name like crazy, and wasn’t even in you, yet. “just like that, baby, let everyone hear you”
what she started pushing her two fingers into your hole, you thought you’ll cum just right there and then. she was pumping them in and out and you were a moaning mess. “you’re so wet for me, pretty girl. or do you think that anyone could fuck you this good? what about sophie, huh? I bet she’d love to what a whore you’re f’me, ‘y want me to call here?” she asked in a mocking way. “please, no-fuck, fells s’good els-only you!”
ellie, continued to fingering you, and the closer you were to reaching your climax, the louder you were. “gonna- fuck- cum, els” you whined and your body started to shake. “yea? you think sophie could fuck you this good? y’ think she’d make you come this hard?” now she’s holding your chin in her free hand, squeezing your cheeks together a little. “no-fuck..only you els!!” you screamed, and a hot tear rolled down cheek.
“my good fucking girl, now cum f’me, baby”
the praises made you reach your climax faster so you came all over ellie’s fingers, your legs still shaking, from the pleasure, you vision’s blurry ‘cause of the tears and your head’s dizzy.
“y’ did so good, baby” she said as she kissed you on your forehead “now let’s get to our place, shall we?” she suggested, with a smirk on her lips, knowing god damn well, that everyone heard you.

MY MASTERLIST
You never thought you’d be this excited to be back home. Since you’d moved to California, you had constantly been overwhelmed with work. You were thoroughly exhausted, and a short vacation back home was just what you needed to recharge your battery. As much as you loved the fast pace west coast lifestyle, you longed for the quiet of the midwest. You grew up in a rural area in the midwest, but moved to the city when you were a teenager after your parents split. Now your mother was off in Europe with a much younger man, and your father lived with his best friend in a quaint town house. Your dad had always sworn that if he never found his soulmate, he’d move in with his best friend, so that’s exactly what he did.
Your dad moved in with his best friend Pedro a couple years ago when they both decided they were tired of searching for replacement wives. You’d never met Pedro before, and had only heard stories about him through your father, and from what you could tell, he was a bit of a man whore. After him and his wife divorced, he fell into a routine of bringing home different women each weekend. When they moved in together, his habits didn’t change; your father said he’s sure there’s a mini Pedro running around somewhere that he doesn’t know about. Pedro wasn’t interested in dating, let alone having children. So at the age of forty-seven, he was living with your father with the tendencies of a horny, college boy.
You were sitting comfortably on the sofa of your dad’s living room with some sort of soap opera playing on the tv. You hadn’t realized you were zoned out until the front door swung open, and Pedro marched through the door, holding two handles of liquor. A wide grin was plastered on his face as he scanned his eyes around the house for your dad, but instead his eyes landed on you.
“I didn’t know you were here already.” Pedro said, setting the bottles of alcohol on the dining room table, his eyes still locked on you. You sent him a lazy smile.
“Got here this morning.”
“Well, I came prepared.” Pedro winked, gesturing towards the bottles on the table. “Figured we could play some drinking games to get to know each other better, maybe watch a movie or two.”
You simply smiled again. He was much more attractive than you’d imagined. You’d only seen fuzzy pictures of him on your father’s Facebook, and those did not do him justice whatsoever. No wonder he was pulling so many women.
Fast forward to that evening, and the three of you were sitting at the dining room table with a deck of cards playing ‘bullshit’. However, every-time someone lost, they had to drink. You were already pretty far gone, and your dad and Pedro weren’t far behind you. Your cheeks were red hot and sore from laughing, and the alcohol was only amplifying the heat in your body. You kept catching yourself gazing over at Pedro. You couldn’t help but admire his smile and laugh, it was intoxicating. You were convinced he would be an arrogant prick, but he was truly a pleasant person to be around. You couldn’t tell if you were only imagining things, but you could’ve sworn you kept catching Pedro staring at you too.
“You’re fucking cheating!” Your dad exclaimed, throwing his cards down on the table. Pedro was laughing uncontrollably.
“No, you just fucking suck at lying.” Pedro proclaimed through his laughter. He was absolutely kicking your asses at this card game.
“That’s it, I’m going to bed. I’m too old for this shit.” Your dad surrendered, running his hand down his face. He stood up from his chair and stumbled over to you, placing his hand on your shoulder.
“Goodnight, kiddo. Love you bunches.” He slurred, pressing a kiss to the top of your head. “I’ll see y’all in the morning.”
Your dad saluted you and Pedro and stumbled his way to the stairs and out of sight to his bedroom. You bit your lip and smiled over at Pedro who was sporting an amused smirk.
“Well, I don’t know about you, but I’m not tired yet.” Pedro declared, stacking up all the cards scattered across the table. You handed him your cards and sighed.
“Me either, my body clock is two hours behind.” You said, leaning back in your chair.
“Want to watch a movie? Maybe the Hangover?” Pedro suggested, standing up from his spot at the table. His jeans were tight against his thighs, his button up shirt riding up slightly exposing his happy trail. You gulped, averting your eyes before you looked too long. But Pedro had already caught you staring, a smirk tugging at the corners of his lips.
“Sure.” You said, following him to the living room.
Pedro sat on the middle cushion, giving you only two options to sit, and either way you’d be almost touching. You sat down beside him, pulling the blanket off the back of the couch to lay over both of your laps. You stared at Pedro’s hands as he flipped through the tv settings to find whichever streaming service he was searching for. There was something so attractive about his hands, and your mind began to wander down a dangerous path. You envisioned his hand wrapped around your throat, squeezing at the sides of it. You swallowed hard, pressing your thighs together and the sudden heat growing between them. Little did you know, Pedro noticed your body language. He could feel the attraction radiating off of you. You were so fucking gorgeous, and here you were squeezing your thighs together in arousal all because of him simply existing.
He pressed play on The Hangover, setting the remote down on the coffee table in front of you. He leaned back, stretching his arms over his head, and coming down to rest an arm behind your head. Such a cliche move, but somehow it affected you like you were a teenager again. Your heart was thumping against your chest so loudly that you swore he could hear it. You hadn’t realized you were so fucking touch deprived that you were desperate for you father’s best friend. Your thoughts were running wild again, and you fantasized about Pedro bending you over the dining room table. You pictured his hand running up the bare flesh on your ass, spreading your cheeks in front of his eyes so he could admire your holes that were desperate for him touch. You yearned for him to fuck you senseless, making you scream his name, hoping your father wouldn’t hear.
You were already drenched under your shorts. Your core was lit on fire, throbbing so hard that it was painful. Pedro side eyed you. You wouldn’t stop fidgeting; you kept adjusting your legs, and you were playing with your fingers in your lap trying to distract yourself from the longing between your thighs. He smirked. He loved the effect he had on you. He didn’t even have to try and you were an aroused little mess beside him. He slowly moved his arm from behind your head to rest on his thigh. He slowly tapped his forefinger, deciding whether or not he should act on his desires. You were his best friend’s daughter. He wanted more than anything to bend you over the couch and slam into you until you were drenching his cock, but every alarm was going off in his head. Did he want to risk losing his best friend over a fuck? There was something so intoxicating about you, and it frustrated the hell out of him. There were so many women on the back burner that would throw themselves at him, yet he wanted you. Perhaps it was the thrill of the chase.
He felt himself hardening in his jeans. He cleared his throat, his hand sliding underneath the blanket, resting half on his thigh, and half on the hot, supple skin of yours. Your skin was so fucking soft. Slowly, he moved his hand to fully rest on your thigh, giving it such a light squeeze that you thought you imagined it. If your heart was ready to thump out of your chest before, you were nearly about to have a heart attack now. His thumb began massaging slow circles in your thigh, traveling dangerously close to where you were craving him the most. You began breathing harder, turning your head to look up at him. He stared back at you, his brown eyes full of lust. Your eyes traveled down to his mustache, then to his pouted lips. It was as if a magnet was pulling you towards him, and your eyes fell to his lips, getting closer and closer.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Pedro whispered, his gaze focused on your parted lips. He squeezed your thigh harder this time, resting inches away from your core.
You say nothing and move even closer to him, your lips millimeters from touching. You could feel his hot breath on your mouth.
“Touch me.” You breathed out so quietly that you weren’t sure he could hear you. You were proven wrong when his fingers traced along the crease of your tights, grazing over your crotch through your shorts. Pedro began breathing harder the closer his fingers got to your waistband. His fingers slipped beneath the waistband of your shorts, traveling down to your folds. You gasped when his fingers spread your folds, gathering up your juices.
“Such a dirty girl. Already so wet and I’ve barely touched you.” Pedro teased, ghosting his fingers over your clit that was throbbing with sensitivity. You whimpered at the softest pressure he applied to your bundle of nerves. You couldn’t hold yourself back any longer, you needed to taste him. You closed the gap between your lips and kissed him hard, trying your best to communicate your lust through the rhythm of your kiss. He moaned into your mouth, his free hand moving to tug at the hair at the nape of your neck. You were driving him insane. He pulled away momentarily to stare at you with hungry eyes.
“Do you know how wrong this is? Kissing your daddy’s best friend while he’s asleep upstairs.” He growled, slamming his lips back into yours while simultaneously slamming two fingers into your entrance without warning. You couldn’t help but moan a little to loud at his intrusion. His hand left your hair to wrap around your throat with a tight squeeze. “Keep fucking quiet. Wouldn’t want your daddy to hear, now would we?”
Your hand traveled down to his hardening erection and grabbed it firmly over his jeans as he fucked you hard with his fingers, a low groan escaping his lips. His hot breath was becoming more frequent against your mouth. He pulled away suddenly, his hand still gripping your throat.
“Can you suck my cock like a good girl?” He muttered, his fingers leaving your hole. You frowned at the loss of contact, but felt yourself throb at the thought of tasting his cock in your mouth. You nodded quickly, moving to get on your knees between his legs. Pedro was panting, his belly rising and falling quickly under his shirt. He unbuttoned his jeans with ease, unzipping his fly slowly. He lifted his hips off the couch to slide his jeans down his thighs, his jeans falling to his ankles. His cock sprung free from his jeans with no underwear constricting his erection.
You leaned forward, taking his length in your soft hand, admiring his size and girth. Your mouth watered at the sight of pre-cum dripping from his tip. You ran your thumb over his arousal, wetting his sensitive tip. You locked eyes with him, lowering down to slowly take his cock in your mouth. You teased his leaky tip with your tongue, swirling it around so you could get a taste of him. Moaning at the salty taste coating your tongue, you gradually lowered your mouth onto his length, soaking him with the mixture of his pre-cum and your spit. His head fell back on the couch, his hand tangling itself in your hair. He whimpered quietly and you began to stroke your hand up and down the leftover shaft that you couldn’t fit in your mouth. With your free hand, you cupped his balls, massaging them in your palm.
“Fuck.” Pedro breathed, sucking in a harsh breath. He gripped the nape of your neck, squeezing with his fingertips. “Taking my cock so well.”
Your hand moved from his balls up to his abdomen, running your fingers across his happy trail. You lowered your mouth even further, filling your throat with the rest of his length. You bobbed your head, the only sounds in the room being the wet noises of you sucking his cock, and his shaky breaths. You moaned on his length, the vibrations making his cock twitch in your throat. You lifted your mouth off his length, bringing your hand to the ridge between his shaft and his tip, stroking in quick milking motions. His legs began to shake, and a low moan escaped his lips. He grabbed your hand, stopping your movements.
“F-fuck, if you keep doing that I’m going to cum.” He mumbled, grabbing your wrist and pulling you up off your knees. He stood up from the couch, pushing you to sit in his spot.
“Take off your clothes.” He ordered sternly, reaching for the buttons on his shirt. He quickly undid them while he watched you strip down to nothing. No panties, no bra. You drove him fucking wild. His cock twitched at the sight of you completely bare in front of him. He stripped his clothes off completely, kneeling where you just were.
“I’m going to taste you, then I’m going to fuck you so hard that you won’t remember your name.” Pedro said, spreading your legs completely open. Cold air hit your folds, your arousal glistening before his eyes. “Look at you. So fucking wet for me.”
He lowered his mouth to your core, spreading your folds open with his fingers, thrusting his tongue in and out of your entrance. His other hand traveled to your clit, rubbing soft, quick circles into your sensitive nerves. You gasped, your hand landing in his hair. It took all of your will power to stay quiet. The last thing you needed was for your dad to walk down the stairs to his best friend eating you out.
Pedro thrusted three fingers into you, not allowing you time to stretch to the fullness before finger fucking you so hard and fast that you were seeing spots in your vision. You were so fucking full, but you wanted his cock more than anything. His tongue flicked over your clit, sucking on it lightly while his fingers slammed into you, curling perfectly to the rough surface of your g spot. You weren’t going to last much longer. You slapped a hand over your mouth and whined into your palm. You orgasm was so close.
“I’m gonna cum.” You whimpered through your fingers, locking eyes with Pedro as he finger fucked the life out of you. Your legs were trembling, and your toes began to curl. You were seconds away from reaching your high when Pedro halted his actions, and pulled his fingers out of you. You wanted to cry; you were so fucking close it hurt.
“Did I say you could cum?” Pedro slowly rose from his knees, his hand wrapping it’s way back around your throat. He pressed his lips to yours in a hasty kiss. You whined into his kiss. He pulled away, taking your bottom lip between his teeth briefly. “You’re going to cum around my cock like a good girl.”
His words went straight to your core. You were in pain. You needed release so badly. You didn’t have a moment to comprehend what was happening until Pedro slammed his cock into you, your walls spasming around his sudden intrusion. You cried out, grabbing his biceps to squeeze. You were full to the brim, and the oxygen completely left your lungs when you felt him hit your cervix from how deep he was inside of you. He slapped a hand over your mouth, his lips lowering to you ear.
“I don’t want to hear a fucking sound.” He growled, his fingers finding their way back to your clit. His fingers worked in fast circles, your eyes rolling back into your skull. He thrusted in and out of you at an agonizingly fast pace, his tip hitting the deepest part of you over and over again. You orgasm was near, and it was coming fast. You entire body trembled, and you dug your fingernails into Pedro’s toned back. Your face fell into his neck, your teeth lightly biting the supple skin there to refrain from screaming out.
“Are you going to cum?” Pedro breathed out, gripping your hips as he pounded into you. You nodded vigorously into his neck, feeling your vision starting to leave completely. With the nod of your head, Pedro slipped his cock out of you, and his fingers abandoned your clit. Tears began brimming at your eyes. You felt yourself on the verge of a meltdown when Pedro kept you from your orgasm for a second time. Without warning, Pedro flipped you onto your stomach, your knees propped up on the couch cushion, and your arms gripping the back of the couch to steady yourself. He slammed back into you from behind, grabbing your hips for leverage. He didn’t care how loud your skin slapping together was. He knew how terrible the acoustics were in the house, and how thick the walls were. He’d fucked so many women in this house to the point of screaming and your father still never heard.
You cried out as he somehow hit you even deeper than before. Pedro wasn’t kidding when he said he was going to fuck you until you couldn’t remember your name. In that moment, the only things you knew were how deep he filled you, and how perfectly he bottomed out inside you. His balls slapped against your clit, adding to the euphoria you were experiencing. Your nails dug into the fabric of the couch so hard that you thought it was going to rip. Just when you thought you couldn’t be stimulated anymore, you felt Pedro’s forefinger tease your tightest hole. He brought his index finger to his mouth, sucking on it until it was coated with his spit, then brought it back down to your rim, pressing it slowly inside. You groaned out at the foreign sensation.
“You like that?” Pedro leaned down into your ear, his torso laying against the curve of your back and he filled both of your holes. “Has anyone ever touched you here?”
You shook your head, lowering your head to bite down onto the back of the couch. You wanted to fucking scream. Your body was overwhelmed with pleasure. The feeling intensified when Pedro added a second finger to your asshole, alternating between thrusts there and your pussy.
“Such a good girl.” He moaned out, slamming into you even faster than before.
Your body couldn’t take much more. Your body was trembling, and there was no way hon would survive if you were denied your orgasm for the third time. Your eyes rolled back in your head and a hand reached back to the thick flesh of your ass to spread your cheeks apart, hoping it would bring Pedro deeper.
“God, you’re such a slut.” Pedro growled, placing his hand back to your neck, choking you harder than before. He lowered his mouth to your back, pressing a kiss to your spine. “I need you to come for me.”
His permission was all you needed before you were cumming around his cock, your walls clenching down hard around him, bringing him closer to his orgasm. Your jaw went slack as your orgasm hit you like a freight train, your entire body being set on fire. You’ve never came so hard in your life.
Pedro’s fingers left your asshole and he wrapped his arm around the soft flesh of your belly, continuing to fuck into you with all the energy he had left. Your walls were extremely tight from your orgasm, constricting intoxicatingly around his cock. He moaned as he reached his orgasm, coating your walls in thick spurts. He whimpered as he filled you full of his cum, both of his hands reaching around you to grab handfuls of your breasts, pinching your nipples as he came down from his high.
Your eyes were squeezed shut still recovering for your powerful orgasm. Your body went slack against the back of the couch as tried to recover.
“What’s your name?” Pedro asked breathlessly.
You didn’t answer. You’d heard him, but your mind was so far into the clouds that you didn’t comprehend his question. You chest heaved in heavy breaths.
Pedro chuckled, squeezing your tits once last time before pulling out of you. You whimpered at the feeling; you were way too fucking sensitive. He pressed a soft kiss to your ass as he left you alone to grab a towel to clean you up with. You were still coming down from your high when he returned with a damp towel, and began gently wiping up his seed that spilled from your entrance. You trembled as he touched your sensitive folds, and you whined out.
“Shhhh, almost done.” He whispered, holding the towel there for a moment longer.
When he finished cleaning you up, he lifted you up and sat you down on the couch facing him. He picked up your shorts and helped slide them up over your soft legs, then lifted your arms to put on your sweatshirt. He pressed a soft kiss to your forehead then lazily dressed himself, not bothering to button his pants or shirt.
“Let’s get you to bed.” He said softly, picking you up. He cradled you in his arms as he carried you up the stairs, your eyes heavy with exhaustion.
He carried you to the guest bedroom, and held you up expertly with one arm while he pulled back the covers so you wouldn’t be laying on top of the sheets. He carefully laid you onto the mattress, tucking you in under the covers. He couldn’t get over how blissful you looked. Your cheeks were bright pink, and your lips were swollen and plump. He bent down and kissed you one last time before leaving you alone in the guest bedroom. You drifted off to sleep before you could even realize he was gone. Before you knew it, you were waking up the next morning with soreness between your legs and a longing for your father’s best friend.

Tumblr media
01. watching, i keep waiting
It felt like clockwork. An annual phone call from your estranged father, asking for a few life updates before awkwardly ending the call. This time, the silence hung in the air longer than the usual three minutes, a quiet hesitation you stuck around for.
Beau "Cyclone" Simpson was known for being a stickler for the rules; strict and to the point. He wasn't a natural-made family man; your mom accused him of hiding in his work and neglecting his duties as a husband and father. It was the last argument they had before she stuffed you in the backseat of her car.
They hadn't seen each other since.
However, this time, the anxiety could be felt through the phone, "Dad? Is there something else you need?" You inquired.
He sighed, "How… How's your mother?" The edge that settled in his voice finally clicked. He knew. A few deep breaths later and you gathered the strength to speak.
"She's…getting better. The doctor said there's hope." Silence followed again. It felt as if time slowed before he spoke again, “There’s a doctor here in San Diego who can treat her. We never divorced so… if she wants to I can…” He went quiet for a moment. “I know the move would be taxing but you guys would be closer to family and—”
“I'm not sure if she would want that, dad.” You spoke softly, gently cutting him short. “I've tried to convince her to take the recommendation, but…you have to speak to her.” Further silence followed. You could almost hear his heart hammering over the phone.
Your parent's relationship was a mystery to you. They’d never divorced but you were uprooted and planted halfway across the country when they separated. Your father didn’t fight and your mom didn’t have it in her to keep up with him. He’d prioritized his career over his family, and you knew he regretted it following your and your mother's departure.
Sure, you’d seen him sparsely throughout the years, receiving birthday gifts and visiting for holidays, but the damage had been done.
"Alright. You're right. I'll try to talk to her as well." He conceded. You didn't respond, whispering a soft goodbye before pivoting towards the window.
Observing as your mother tended to her garden, humming along with the radio. You had made a home in Virginia, but was it home? Both of your mother’s and father’s families were on the West Coast and the state held bitter memories after a failed engagement.
She'd always been stubborn, and while you weren't your father's advocate, you couldn't lose her. You understood this was her best option, yet she refused to take it.
It felt like days they spent speaking over the phone. Your father fighting tooth and nail to match your mother.
“You can’t honestly expect me to move halfway across the country for a maybe.” She spat. You couldn’t hear your father’s response but whatever he said softened her, wilting as her eyes filled with tears. She glanced at you. “Fine. We’ll see you then.” Her shoulders slumped as she made her way towards you, plopping on the couch and leaning her head on your shoulder.
“Pack your swimsuit. We’re going home.”
Phone calls had been made, flights booked, boxes shipped and suddenly you were standing in your childhood room. Not much had changed, except for the piled-up boxes that had been pushed into the corner. Memories hung around like outdated decor, a bitter taste filling your mouth.
A light knock jerked you out of your stupor.
“I didn’t know what to do…so I left it as it was.”Your father stood at the door. His frame taking up most of the space.
You inhaled a shaky breath, “Do you think it will work?” The fragility in your voice was noticeable as he inspected your face with a crease in his brows, lips pursed. “I hope so.”
Not much else was said as you continued to unpack. Mentally running through your to-do list for the next month and a half. Your mom had a doctor's appointment set for next week, and all you could hope for was promising news in the meantime.
Your mother's illness put a hiatus on your life. Her diagnosis turned your axis on its head; stability gone in a wink. Now you were unsure. Unsure of your future, of time, of her future. You decided to take time off of work and dip into your savings, this move wouldn’t strain you. If you were lucky, you’d be able to find a job near base, hopefully in some clinic. You couldn’t focus on patients when you’d see your mother in everyone. Time lost in your career wouldn’t compare to the time you valued with your mother.
While strolling through the house, you noticed your old family photos hadn’t been moved. Not a speck of dust to be seen in the home as you glanced at your parents in the living room. The tension was easy to notice. It permeated the air and left a heavy feeling in your lungs.
Words were waiting to be said you didn't want to be around for the aftermath. Not only to spare yourself from the debris of their approaching fight but also to give yourself the freedom to reset. Your emotional turmoil was eating you alive you needed some time to breathe.
“I’m gonna go visit Penny, she said to head down the bar once we were settled.” A swift kiss on your mother's cheek while she murmured, “Send her my regards.”
San Diego was a time capsule, the neighborhoods aging while the city was ever-changing. Familiar streets diverging off to ones you didn’t recognize. It’d only been a few years since you’d last come down and somehow that was enough time to reinvent the city.
Hard Deck itself had seemed the same, the amiable environment and ocean breeze skimming your cheeks. You’d arrived before the pub opened, approaching with excitement and allowing the bell to signal your arrival.
“Here I thought you were gonna stand me up?” Penny glanced over you with shining eyes, “Looks like at least oneSimpson can keep a promise.” A grin filled her face as she embraced you, her hug providing the warmth and consolation you needed after a massive move. “Where’s your mother?”
“Having it out with my dad” She winced.
“No wonder you got here before the bar opened.” You two shared a knowing look. You knew Penny had questions. Your mother was private about her sickness and never disclosed details. She even attempted to keep things from you. “Mom is down to see a doctor who might be able to help. I don’t know how the hell dad convinced us to share a roof but here we are.” You shrugged, wrapping behind the bar for a waist-apron.
Penny understood, bouncing her head as she gave you a gentle smile, “She's a determined woman. I believe she'll beat its ass before it even thinks twice about getting her.”
A faint huff came out of your mouth, “You know, you’re not wrong…” Before you could continue, Penny chimed in.
“There's a reason they referred to her as Hurricane, not only to piss off your dad but being an admirals daughter made her tough. Hell, your grandfather could barely keep her in check. He said he could control your mother or do his job.”
Laughter filled the bar, resounding through the empty building. The two of you calmed down, and you nodded your head in mortification, arranging some of the spirits as she continued.
“Hey, there's a reason we call you a little spitfire. Your dad and your mom? Of course, they'd create a vixen.”
A delicate smile graced your face, "I missed you, Penny." You admitted, "And I you. It’s not every day I get to see my favorite niece.” She tapped your nose as she turned to clean the bar top.
“Penny, I’m your only niece.”
“Details, details..” She hitched a tub of glass cups on her hips, waving you off, “If you aren’t gonna get to work, I’m gonna have to throw you overboard. We got a boat docked today.” You giggled at your aunt’s antics, appreciating her ability to keep the conversation light.
Penny glimpsed at you curiously, “Have you talked to….anyone else since you got back?” You understood what she asking without having her clarify. “Just some family members.” She gave you the eye, “But no. Haven’t spoken to Bradley in eight years and counting.”
“I thought you guys reconciled after you both graduated?”
“Not really. We talked sure, but we hadn’t spoken between then and when we finally did, things went to shit.”
Penny bobbed her head in understanding. "Stick jockeys… the only thing that keeps them grounded is insubordination." A huff fell off your lips as you got busy moving between tables. The crowd came in all at once, hordes of uniforms tottering in, some with arm candy, others eyeing for arm candy. This kept you in constant motion; gathering up drinks, bringing refills, making cocktails, and dancing around the jukebox.
The throng kept you light-headed, and you were thankful for it.
Groups of locals, navy sailors, and aviators cheered, drank, and sang. You were grabbing a refill for someone at the bar as Penny flirted with someone who looked vaguely familiar; he flashed her a warm smile as you tried to place him.
The distraction was short-lived when you took a pool stick to the hip. Your tray tilting into the hands of an arrogant aviator, his grin cocksure as he glanced you up and down, “Sorry dove,” He started, restacking the glasses, “I didn’t—”
“Careful.” You warned. “Disrespect a lady and get the bell.” Your finger pointed as a mischievous smile graced your face, “I think a pool stick to the hip is reason enough, no?” Your hands had been itching all night to ring the bell, it’d be a while.
“What if I help you carry this tray of glasses to the bar and work on an apology for you?” His green eyes filled with mirth, both of you enjoying this small pissing match.
“Much obliged.” You dumped the tray in his unsuspecting hands and he stumbled to keep it upright. Some of his fellow aviators cheered you, amused by the exchange. You made your way behind the bar as he handed you the tray, “Sorry for sticking it ya...” He pondered off, massaging the back of his neck, “Didn’t know you were behind me, I wouldn’t have gone so far back if I did.”
“To be fair, I wasn’t watching where I was going.”
“If I ask for refills would that ruin the apology?” He grins sheepishly.
You barked out a laugh, “What if I charge you double for your beers and consider it even?”
“Sold!”
He skimmed you over one more time. “Can I get your name on the side?” Silence fell between you two as you reached for the beers. He leaned on the bar, relaxing as he drew everyone's gaze towards him.
You let out a small laugh, deciding to toy with him a bit. "Callsign?" He knotted his brows together, "Hangman." You bobbed your head. "Top Gun graduate?" He nodded once again. You leaned in next to his ear, your voice quiet, "Piece of advice, Lieutenant….” You glanced into his eyes, whispering, “You might not want to hit on the daughter of the vice-admiral."
You didn't typically pull out your dad's rank, but this time it was worth it. His mug slipped, paling slightly. "They call me little Simpson. But hush,” You dragged a finger over your lips, “This is a secret between you and me.” You gave a small smirk. "Here are your beers sir," He didn't say another word as he toddled back towards his table, his crowd hollering at his stupefied disposition.
The sun had just started to set, disappearing behind the horizon and you called Penny for your break. You tucked away your apron as she took over, pumping cocktails and drinks out with ease. “I’m heading down to the shore for a bit, I missed California sunsets.”
“Remember, I need you back in 15!” She called after you, too occupied flirting.
The sand was warm and the breeze was gentle. Allowing yourself to unwind as you sit in the sand, resting your head on your knees, you listened to the hustle and bustle of the bar in back of you. Your aunt had run the bell and someone just got thrown overboard. You watched as the same aviator from before was one of the few that carried the old-timer out.
You still couldn’t place him but decided to let it go. You could ask Penny about it later.
A familiar tune of piano keys causes your spine to straighten. Nausea twisted itself in your stomach as goosebumps peppered your skin. You stood up, listening for his voice as he started singing, still incapable to believe it unless you see him.
You peeked, treading cautiously towards the window.
And there he was.
Sitting at the piano bench, singing the same song Carole hummed in the kitchen when she babysat you. His fingers danced on the keys as he commanded the room, bobbing his head as he sang. He had a fuller build, aviators sloped on his nose with an open Hawaiian shirt. The same one Carole said he could wear once he was old enough for it to fit him.
Dread spread through your limbs as time stalled. Penny would understand if you left now. You’d just have to run in and grab your things. You’d be gone before he noticed you.
The hesitation only worsened when he raised his eyes and that confidence was taken over by surprise. It was only a second but it was enough to jerk you into action. Descending into the crowd, you concealed yourself between bodies as you escaped towards the back to grab your keys.
The song wasn’t quite finished yet. He kept up his performance and you didn’t have it in you to match him today. “Penny—”
“Go. I know now isn’t the time.” You embraced her tightly, swearing to drop by tomorrow and complete your shift, but right now you needed to go, and having a face-off with the man who broke your heart isn’t what you needed. Maybe later, but not now, it would be too much.
The air hit your flushed cheeks, catching your breath from the sudden intrusion. You glanced up one more time before trekking to your car, watching him bask in the ambiance of the crowd cheering him on, arms spread out to take in the energy. It didn’t last long before his gaze set itself on you, making his way through the crowd with a smile. Anyone would miss it, but you weren’t anyone. His face was tight and he walked stiffer than his usual gait.
You hadn’t seen Bradley Bradshaw since you were 26, and before that, since you were 18. You’d been raised together since you could remember.
It was now or never, you could spilt at the last moment and very evidently run or you could hesitate and let him catch up to you.
Whatever options you had evaporated as the door opened. It moved slowly, and you held your breath.
In that moment you felt foolish, why did you need to hide? He was the one that left you that morning. He was the one that didn’t answer your phone calls and refused to reach out. Outrage simmered in your throat as you felt it flush in your ears. Why hide when you could bury the hatchet here and let him have it?
He slowed as he got nearer as if he could never reach you no matter how far or fast he walked. He dangled his aviators on the neck of his tank, gathering himself. His gaze followed you up and down, leaving a burn wherever you felt his stare.
“Bradley ‘The Brave’ Bradshaw.” You spat.
He winced narrowly at your tone. Wonder steeling his bones as he was rendered speechless.
“How was the last…what? Decade? It’s been almost a decade since I’ve seen you. Phew time just flies. Doesn’t it?” You folded your arms over your chest, standing at attention as he just stared.
He didn't talk for a while. Breathing as he thought, chewing his bottom lip, just like he always did when he was unsure what to say.
“Good talk.” You headed for your car before he grasped your wrist, a gentle tug but one loaded with desperation. “I…” He paused again.
"Fuck, I don't know what to say." He rubbed his forehead, taking a swig of his beer. "I mean, I didn't have time to prepare a script and all." He motioned around, catching his failed attempt at a laugh.
"I'm sorry." He blurted. You both stood dumbfounded, just in surprise at each other's company. "I should've written, or texted, or emailed. I shouldn't have…." He trailed off as if shame carried his voice away.
“Oh wow. He thinks too. Isn't that convenient?” Your biting remark was followed by a snort, “Apology not accepted. It was shitty of you to leave me like that, knowing what was going on and deciding I wasn’t worth even a goodbye. You didn’t even say goodbye Bradley.”
Tears lined your eyes as bitterness warmed you, “I thought I wouldn’t be so mad at you after all these years. Believed that if I ran right now I could put it behind me but no…the years we spent together meant nothing when you left like that.” Your voice hardened with your resolve.
His grasp slackened on your wrist, “Then why did you come back? Thought you would’ve had the wedding by now.” He cocked his head to the side, aggravating you in the process.
“No.” You spit the words out, “Called the engagement off when he said my mother’s illness wasn’t worth the trouble.” Bradley stood dumbstruck, mouth gaping like a fish out of water. It wasn’t often Bradley lost his composure, he had to be able to keep his head on tight if he was flying a jet. In this moment, he felt ill. He didn’t even know.
“She’s…She’s sick?”
You puffed out air, understanding that while you may seething, Bradley still cared for your mother. She took him in when Carole passed and Pete left him with nothing but a dim future. As much as you hated him, you understood that hearing about your mother's illness hurt. He loved her like family and he didn’t have much of that left.
“Bye Bradley.” You shook him off as he trailed after you, this time a bit brisk.
“What do you mean she's sick? Is it a cold, is it the flu?” Panic rested in his eyes as he scrutinized at you. Scanning your face for answers.
Your eyes bore into the asphalt. “It’s stage four Bradley.” You said feebly, the topic weighing you down as if sandbags had been placed on your shoulders, “The doctor said there might be a chance but we don’t know yet.”
He stood rigid, processing this information as grief seized his throat. Squeezing tight until he could barely speak. “I-I didn’t know or else I would’ve…”
“Would’ve what? Finally, called? You cut me off and I made do with it, but my mother? She loved you like one of her own and you just left.”
He rubbed his face. Palms shielding his eyes as he took a few breaths in, “At the time, I couldn’t have stayed. You may not understand why but I couldn’t stay.”
“Or you just didn’t want to.” His eyes shot up towards you, “You know that isn’t why I left. You know damn well.”
“No, I don’t. I woke up the next morning with nothing but your old pair of aviators and some dog tags. The bed was cold and I was alone.” You both had a stare-off, clearly oblivious of what the other was thinking.
You just puffed and watch as Bradley stood there, in all his aviator glory, allowing the anger that filled your body to tide you in. Electricity pooled into your palms and you tried not to slap him, all you could process was that anger, just anger anger anger. It was all you had that wasn’t grief.
Whether he was here or not, it didn't matter. You were too cross to articulate any of it. Years of bottled emotions popping open before you could process them. Stillness suspended itself in the air again, gripping both of you by the neck.
“I need to go.” You said firmly, “I just… I can't handle you right now. Not now.”
Slipping into your car, you give him one last look. He was impassive, closing himself off so he didn’t have to process it.
It wasn’t your problem anyway, you just needed to get home.

I don't know if I want to write a massive essay about this, but they missed the whole point with all the characters, especially Ye Wenjie. I'm assuming everyone who said this portrayal is accurate and a raging angry Ye Wenjie is good is because they either never read the book, or non-Chinese, or both. (Or maybe projecting their own views on Maoism). Ye Wenjie received higher education during a time period where it wasn't common for women. She believed in science, she believed in people, but time and time again, the people in her life let her down and never showed any signs of remorse. What I've gathered from the text is that she isn't fuelled by rage, more so she is dead on the inside, she has lost all hope in people. Her decision to reply is not because she wants to destroy, she believes that a civilisation from a higher standpoint could save humans, and this roots in the fact that she is educated. She's not some crazy rage driving women who would ever say "time is a motherfucker", not even a Chinese equivalent.
I'm not sure why the writers decided to write Ye Wenjie and Yang Weining's relationships out of the story...Oh so she is rescued by a white man later on hmm??? (Coincidentally, all the characters driving the plot are also non-Chinese in this). Ye Wenjie marrying Yang Weining and giving birth to Yang Dong gave her a glimpse of light in the life from which she had lost hope. Spending time in Qijiatun also gave her a bit of warmth. When she pushed Yang Weining off the cliff, it marked another significant point, she was calm, cut the rope with no hesitation. She did not care to get herself entangled in romantic affairs. Making her have a child with Evans is laughable. They also dumb down Yang Weining, to the extent that Ye Wenjie had to explain 43+8=51 to him. Mind you, he was a real proper engineer. (Weirdly with all the diversifying, they did not keep a single male Chinese scientist in the main team huh)
Anyways, before I go on a tangent. The writers have fast tracked everything and left out the finer text about the characters in the book. I'm not sure if they missed the point or that nowadays the audience are ruined by fast media, something like the tencent version are simply too slow for the people in the west. Any of my moots and followers who watch cdramas will know that the real good stuff is all in the build-up. It's all the little text that adds up to a fleshed out character. If the culture difference is too much for Netflix, leading them to change all the characters and most of the plot, why not just buy a western ip. There's plenty of good western sci-fi ips.
I can't help but think they want to do this because they wanted to film the scene where Ye Zhetai is beaten to death. Have an excuse to turn Ye Wenjie an angry woman. We all know why. If they really cared about showing a true China during that time, they would have spend some care with the Red Coast details as mentioned above (we did not have screens in 1960s that display Chinese text!!! And definitely no simplified Chinese characters on computers!!!!). Instead of having her snog Bai Mulin off - unrealistic since people were a lot more conserved back then, they would not have done this and it's ooc for Ye Wenjie. Falling in love with Evans - a real blasphemy. I guess the 3 Body Problem here means 3 bodies pounding at each other. Jin-Raj-Will also seem to have their own 3 body problem going on too.
(One last tangent) Ye Wenjie and Yang Dong(Vera) as scientists not believing in god but having monks at her funeral ??????????? Not even a typical normal Chinese funeral will have monks. The stereotype enforcing is real.

Nancy thought her entire life had been planned out before she was ever born. That her fate was doomed from the beginning and she was destined to end up like her mother — her mother’s mother, her mother’s mother’s mother.
It was too easy to picture a life with white picket fences and too big houses and ten-carat diamonds that didn’t mean shit.
It’s all just a shit show of wealth. None of it’s love. None of it’s real.
And even though she can see it all right in front of her, so tangible she can almost touch it, it doesn’t mean she wants to. Or that she’s ever wanted to. And rather than stare at herself in the mirror and see a life she’s been cursed with, she stares directly at the sun and decides to date the weirdo of Hawkins when she turns sixteen.
Jonathan Byers was rugged and strange and not all there sometimes, but he was kind. And he loved her. More than anything, though, he was a distraction from the plain vanilla lifestyle of the cul de sac. He showed her that there was more to life than pearls and pretty dresses and country-club-coded boyfriends.
For the first time, she saw herself as someone else. Not the goody-two-shoes, straight-A student from the wealthy part of town, but a person who could be so much more than all that. And, for a long time, she thought her happiest moments were spent with the freak from the wrong side of the tracks. They were. Until they… weren’t.
Nancy turns twenty and something shifts. She comes to the sudden realization that she was only happy because she felt like she was rebelling against some great, big, imaginary thing and it pummels her in the face with a closed fist.
She thought they loved each other in spite of how different they were, but the entire time it was because of how different they were. It was something short of a fetish, an acute fascination in each other, because both of them understood that they weren’t supposed to be dating a person on the farthest side of the social spectrum.
Jonathan was never supposed to end up with a pretty girl who grew up in a pretty house with prettier money. Nancy wasn’t meant to settle down with a guy from the bad part of town who worked two jobs to stay afloat and had no real aspirations in life because he was never really able to do anything in the first place.
But he did. She did. And it worked.
Then the dust settled and the fog cleared, and she realized none of that was real either.
Feelings were misplaced. Obsession ebbed to neutrality. Dumb teenagers grew up.
It all faded until the only thing left was a couple of kids who spent so much of their life running in the opposite direction because it felt good to rebel. When there was no authority to raise their middle finger to, there was no love left to give. There was no love at all. A mutual adoration for one another wasn’t enough to keep each other afloat.
And rather than drown in spite of it all, they swim even though it hurts.
Jonathan ends up on the opposite side of the country, still awkward and trying to take shape on the west coast. He keeps reveling in his boyhood with weed and arcades and pretty girls. Nancy stays close to home and tries like hell to grow up. She goes to college and moves out of the suburbs to a string of half-rundown apartments on the far side of town.
Not because it felt good to do the opposite of what her mom had done.
Not because there were a couple of odds she felt the need to defy.
But because it was what she wanted to do.
For the first time in her life, she wasn’t doing something for someone else, and she started to slowly blossom, like a wilting plant that just needed a little extra love.
She gets a lot of that these days, more love than she thought she could ever be deserving of. Because now she has Steve. She has you. And if he’s the rippling waves in the tides of her heart, you’re the moon that guides them.
You keep her steady when shit gets rocky, when she starts to get scared that she’s falling back into old ways. When she’s scared of how much she loves Steve because he’s the carbon copy of the man everyone’s expected her to love and when she’s feeling bad for what she did to Jonathan and it’s got her all scared of herself.
She’s got you to keep her anchored. You tell her that she’s not her past. That she’s still growing all the time and that she’s blossomed into something so beautiful that you’re grateful you get to see it firsthand. “You’re your own person, Nance,” you remind her. “You love us. We love you. So… Fuck everything else.”
Nancy trusts you and she's not exactly sure if she’s ever trusted anyone before. She’s only ever given pieces of herself away before now, but it’s different with you. You look at her in a way that makes her feel naked, like you can see all of her without really trying, and it feels good to have someone who knows her without her having to say very much.
You sit cross-legged on her bed, absentmindedly nodding your head to the music playing from her small television across the room — a static, technicolored picture that croons “hot dog, jumping frog, Albuquerque.”
She smiles at you from across the checkerboard that sits between you. You’re so cute, she doesn’t even care that you’ve taken two of her red pieces in one go.
She lets you talk about everything you’ve got on your chest and right now, it’s Eddie Munson — an ex of your’s you saw on a coffee run earlier that morning. You tell her how much you’d loved him when you were a teenager, how you wanted to get married and follow him across the world when he made it big with his band.
But he hasn’t yet made it out of Indiana and you’ve settled down with somebody else. Somebodies.
“I remember him,” Nancy lilts with a soft smile, ocean blue eyes concentrated on the board as she calculates her next move. “He was… interesting.”
“He was a total freak, but he was the nicest guy I’d ever met. He was, like, super into rock music and the color black and creepy shit — everything super metal, you know? But he was also really sweet… Like sunshine, kinda. Like Steve,” you reminisce distantly.
“Of course, we picked the nicest one, huh?” she teases you, herself. “Steve is like… good.”
“Like prom king wrapped up in sunshine,” you nod.
“Great bod, too.”
“And stupid handsome… Stamina like a super soldier or somethin’.”
Nancy breathes out a laugh, a sad scoff.
Steve’s been busy with work these days. Trying to make it big at his mom’s real estate firm has been taking up most of his time. She’s glad she’s got you to keep her company, to hold her and to hold you when the days are cold and the nights are colder. But she’s noticed the lack of his presence, both of you have.
He left and pieces of the two of you went with him.
“I miss him,” she admits softly.
“Me too…”
She bites the inside of her cheek when a smile threatens to tug at her mouth. Her lashes touch the bottoms of her bushy brows as her eyes flit to yours, scrunching her nose as she jokes: “We probably shouldn’t tell him, though.”
“Of course not,” you scoff playfully. “Don’t want him to get too cocky.”
As much shit as you both of you like to talk about Steve, behind his back and to his face, all in the name of good fun — you love when he’s cocky. When he’s inside you, fucking up into you with all the strength of a madman, he’s King Steve all over again. Because he’s got something to prove.
With his cock nestled deep inside of Nancy and his tongue shoved inside of you, the only thing he wants to do is make the two of you feel good. And he does. Catastrophically so. When he’s brought both of you to mind-numbing climaxes full of wild moans and shaking limbs, you feel him smirk against your skin while he presses wet kisses to your trembling thighs.
It makes him proud of himself, all smug and boastful. And you and Nancy let him have his fun. You figure that he deserves it after making you feel such an unearthly sort of pleasure.
Out of the two of you, Nancy’s orgasms are most violent. They always have been to a certain extent, but more so with you and Steve. It starts as a low ripple in her lower belly that pops into a full boil. Her muscle tense something fierce, she twists herself into knots and rides her pleasure like a bucking bull on Steve’s cock or your face.
They feel a bit like riptides. They pull her under and drown her, force her to ride each rough wave through rough wave. She digs her manicured nails into Steve’s freckled back or your sweat-slicked shoulders or her own pale thighs while the both of you dismantle her piece by little piece.
You’re more like the wings of a butterfly. Built from the same cloth as her, you still have a simmering anxiety beneath your skin, scared of ever enjoying a good thing, lest it gets ripped away. Rather than fight it like Nancy, you embrace it head on. You let it run over you like hot water, revel in the way it prickles your skin, and then thank them for making you feel so good.
You never had to, though. Thank them. They made you feel good because they liked it just as much as you did, but you felt the need to express your gratitude for it anyway. Just grateful for them and the moment and all the ways you get to share yourself with them.
Steve makes Nancy come with his tongue nestled inside her pulsating cunt and giant hands palming her ass. You kneel just beside him, pressing kisses to the outsides of her thigh, as you pull the hood of her clit taut with your free hand for him. The boy suckles at her swollen button and she cries through it all, hips bucking like she’s trying to run away from how good it feels.
You stay soft; kiss up her thigh and her belly, her tits and neck and jaw. Too innocent for all the filth around you.
She makes you feel good next, even though her legs still feel a bit like jelly. The two of you lie on your sides on the pillows, facing one another, kissing each other breathless. You’ve got one hand beneath Nancy’s head and the other folded behind you, entwined in the strands of Steve’s wild hair. He lays behind you, slicked body pressed intently against your own, while he sprinkles wet kisses to every part of you he can reach.
Nancy touches your pussy with methodical grazes. She runs her pointer finger through the hot slick gathering between your lips and Steve holds you open for her as she dips a finger into the fluttering hole of your opening, adding another right along with it.
“Nance,” you moan sweetly, light as air. Your hips rock slowly against her hand, not nearly as rough as her’s had against Steve’s face. You’re much softer than her. More patient. Your clit presses against her smooth palm and you shiver between the two of them “Shit. Right there.”
The girl revels in your sweet pleas and how your warm walls pulsate around her fingers — the wings of a butterfly indeed. You change color in front of her, from a blotchy red thing to a bright burst of rainbows. You let Steve hold you when you come, let him pet you while the aftershocks of your orgasm make you shake.
Nancy brings her come-soaked fingers to her mouth and admires the taste of you and the way you look pressed against him. You, made of vivid and sparkling colors, and Steve, made of gold and velvet and expensive silk.
Truth be told, she likes to watch the two of you fuck the most.
There’s something about seeing Steve on top of you — tanned skinned and fuzzy chest and tremendous strength. His broad shoulders and slick back tense and ripple while he fucks you in brutal, powerful, diligent strokes.
You’re far more delicate in comparison.
Your moans are light, touches lighter, as you let him fuck you so ruthlessly. Even spread open like this, wet pussy on display for the both of them, you still manage to look so sweet, so innocent.
“Can you lift your hips for me, sweetheart?” he coos, your thigh gripped in one hand while he puts a pillow beneath you with the other. And you, obedient you, abide him. He slips the cushion under you and hits new depths within your fluttering pussy. “Aw, fuck yeah, baby— that’s my girl.”
Nancy’s lying right next to you, on her back, with her fingertips swirling around her clit. Her heavy, glazed-over eyes flit between your fucked out face, Steve’s scrunched features, and where his glistening cock pierces you over and over and over again.
“Grab the headboard, baby,” he tells you, not the most wholehearted of his otherwise glaring demands, but more so advice — the number of times he’s driven his hips too hard against you and all but smacked you into the headboard is uncountable at this point. He punctuates his order with the hearty smack of your ass. The palm of his hand collides with your rounded, slick skin and you keen.
You heed his advice as he hooks your knee up and around his waist. He bends over you to sink his tongue into your obedient mouth. Nancy does the same with her fingers, pushing her fingers inside of her gaping cunt, curling them within her like she imagines Steve’s doing inside your mouth just now.
He eases his cock out of you — inch by thick, soaking wet inc — before plunging right back into you. His hips clap against your own and you squeal inside his mouth, grasping the wooden headboard with enough force to crack the damn thing.
Nancy’s bedsprings creak with every one of his barbaric thrusts. It’s almost as pornographic as the wet sounds between your legs, the wet clicks of his cock pounding so aggressively into you.
Each snap of his hips drives you further and further up the bed and you try to match them, hips bucking against his own in attempts to bring him further into you, to swallow every inch of him.
Nancy does the same with her fingers, imagining it’s your hand or Steve’s cock, as she fucks herself with her eyes locked on where his dick disappears inside of you.
C’mon, Steve, fuck all the way into her, she scolds him silently. Hit the furthest part of her. Make her fucking scream—
“C’mon, Nance,” Steve mutters suddenly, gaze heavy and full of fire when he looks over at her. He plants his knees and picks up the pace, fucking you like a fucking maniac. “Make her come.”
He might as well be superman the way he pistons in and out of you, with both speed and diligence that manages not to feel too fast or too mindless. Sometimes you think he is — superman. It feels like he is sometimes. Whether he’s fucking you within an inch of your life or saving you from a spider in the bathroom.
Nancy smiles lazily over at him, happily removing her soaked fingers from her pussy and putting them on yours.
“Yes, sir,” she answers playfully, having no idea what it does to him. Or maybe she does. Maybe that’s exactly why she said it, to laugh softly to herself when it makes his hips stutter.
The girl slithers closer to you, pressing her naked body flush against the side of yours. She kisses the sweat off of your jaw while her fingers settle beside the place where Steve drills into you. He punches into your pussy again and again and again and she circles your clit with the pads of her fingers with a similar mercilessness.
“Feels good, huh?” she asks you, lips like silk against your cheek.
“Yes,” you answer in a moan before a whine climbs through your tightening through. “’S so good, Nance. So fucking good.”
Steve tosses his head back when his own moans escape the depths of his chest. “Fuck,” he drawls, revealing the chiseled columns of his neck and the sweat dripping down his hairy chest. “You’re so perfect, baby. Both of you. So fucking good for me.”
Nancy smiles to herself, spreading her middle and pointer finger around the puffy lips of your cunt and Steve’s cock, before bringing them up again to pinch your sensitive clit.
You cry. You arch. You writhe.
“Fuck,” you sob, one hand clutching Nancy’s wrist and the other gripping Steve’s tensed bicep as you come something fierce.
Nancy can only imagine the way you convulse around him, choke the absolute shit out of his cock with your tightening walls, because Steve’s done for after that. His rhythm stutters all at once and he whines a low and pathetic whine, going rigid as he presses his hips against yours.
He spills all of himself into your pulsating cunt with a drawled out and nearly feral grunt.
He collapses into your arms and you accept him wholeheartedly, letting him hold you as your hands wrap around his sweat-slicked back. Nancy shows no such patience as she pokes him in the ribs to urge him off of you.
“Move,” she orders suddenly. “Move—”
“Alright,” Steve chuckles at her urgency. He’s not too happy to leave the warmth of you, but he’s in no place to deny Nancy. His hand skates down his torso to cup his softening dick when he pulls out of you, falling onto his side next to you. “Jeez.”
Nancy slithers between your legs. She cups her slender fingers just under your thighs and forces your knees back, spreading you and putting you on display all over again. Your cunt is still gaping from Steve’s cock, still sensitive, still hungry.
You’re far too exhausted to say anything. You just flash her a curious look with pinched brows as you stare down at her through a heaving chest. But Steve gets the hint without a word. He holds his weight on his forearm and uses his free hand to help Nancy, pulling one leg up to spread you further for her, for him.
“Just wanna taste you,” she lilts with a too innocent smile, using one hand to reach between your legs and gathering the honey that drips from your opening — a glistening mixture of your and Steve’s climax. “Wanna taste both of you.”

"how about, during the campaigning at theatre room, the school band's gonna play songs for audience impact, we could ask them!" yoon excitedly suggested
yn grimaced at yoon's idea "what, pres? you don't want to, do you? is it cause of taesan?" yoon teased to which yn rolled their eyes "it's a good idea but, are we sure they'd accept? i mean, there's nothing in for them." yn reasoned
winter giggled "i'm pretty sure taesan would convice his friends to do so if you asked, yn, we all saw how he looks at you." yn hung his head low in embarassment as his friends laughed. "in all seriousness, yn. i think that you should really ask, you're the president and taesan's pretty nice." wonbin said.
"what made you hate taesan that much anyway?" yoon asked. "hate is a strong word!" yn interjected "fine! what made you not like him? or whatever"
yn knew they had no way out of yoon's question, their friends are also waiting for the answer. yn sighed, "i used to date taesan. i can't say that it ended well, he took it maturely and i– i wasn't in my best mental state at that time." silence was present as yn's friends processed the information.
"say something" yn whispered
"so, when you look at him– or interact with him in general, your mental state from when you broke up surfaces?" wonbin asked nonchalantly "i hate you." yn joked.
"but yes, i guess." winter and yoon yelled in giddiness "you aren't over him are you?" winter asked while laughing with yoon "hey!" yn embarassedly replied, face turning beet red while stifling their laughter.
wonbin also couldn't hold in his laughter as the girls continued to laugh, clap, and yell.
"you HAVE to be the one to ask." yoon insisted as yn could only sigh in defeat "fine, fine."
🎸🎸🎸
yn made their way over to the music room where the school band practices, as he neared the door, someone exited and almost bumped into them. "oh i'm sorry!" the girl exclaimed
"hey violet!" yn greeted "what were you doing in there?" violet, the president from an opposing party smiled "campaign stuff, you get it." yn chuckled "okay, good luck!" yn said as they entered the music room.
the light chatter among the band members settled as they recognized the person who entered. "look who's here." taesan smiled as he approached yn who braced themselves.
"play nice, taesan. i'm here to ask for a favor." yn avoids the taller's eyes, meanwhile taesan doesn't shy away from eye contact.
"and that is...?" yn sighed and mustered up their courage to look at taesan in the eye. "i want the band to play during our campaign." taesan smiled at the shorter.
"is that how you ask for favors?" taesan teased to which he received an eye roll from the shorter.
"c– can you please play during our campaign? it would really help my party."
taesan smiled "i'd love to, boss." yn tried to hide their excitement but their eyes betrayed them. taesan chuckled at the younger as yn hurriedly left the room "i owe you one!" yn smiled at him.
jaehyun immediately cleared his throat as soon as yn left and caught taesan's attention "what's between you two?" jaehyun asked, suspicious of their actions
"yeah, why does yn act so flustered when you approach them? that's the only time i see them get so... folded"
woonhak added as sungho could only chuckle, being the only one to know about their past.
"let's just say... we have history." taesan looked down as he walked back to the boys "what about violet? didn't she also ask for us to play during her campaign?" riwoo asked "drop that, i think taesan would rather play for yn, and i don't mind playing for yn." jaehyun answered for taesan, which were followed by 'me too's.
🎸🎸🎸
it is now time for their campaign, violet is finishing up her time on the stage and it is time for yn's party to come up on stage.
cheers and claps were heard throughout the auditorium as yn, wonbin, winter, and yoon make their way up to the stage.
"good morning everyone! we are the younique party!"
everything went by like a breeze, everyone had fun during the campaign and the audience seemed to accept them well. "now, please help me welcome our very own, boynextdoor!" yn announced as their party left the stage as taesan and the rest of the band made their way backstage
"i dedicate the next few songs for yn and their party." taesan said before the band started their small session.
yn only watched from backstage as taesan enjoyed himself onstage. their eyes met a couple of times which didn't fail to make yn flustered.
as boynextdoor finished their session after 3 songs, yn and their party made their way back to the stage and thanked everyone for the successful campaign.
the party alongside boynextdoor went backstage as it was the next party's turn to campaign.
as they arrived backstage, yn immediately pulled taesan somewhere private. "hey, thank you for– uh– preparing 3 songs for our campaign, it might not mean much to you but it does for me." yn said in gratitude, avoiding eye contact once more.
"it means a lot to me performing for you, yn." taesan answered genuinely.
yn pushed him lightly, feelings giddy, unable to hide their smile. yn grabbed his collar and pulled him in for a deep kiss. taesan quickly recovered from his shock and held yn's waist, deepening their kiss.
tongue was involved as they kept kissing each other, breaking away to catch their breaths "god, i missed you." taesan breathed out, kissing yn's neck, "i miss you so much." he whispered onto the shorter's neck.
"i missed you too."
they were interrupted by a knock as yn quickly got off taesan "pres, shouldn't we go back to our classroom?"
wonbin voiced out.
"yes– yes you guys can go first, i'll follow!" yn said in a rush, fixing their shirt. "tonight, 8pm, pick me up." yn said in a jokingly stern voice to taesan. the taller approached yn and landed a peck on his lips.
"yes, boss."

Distance
Love is missing each other.
a @steddielovemonth prompt | 1043 words | CW: N/A | Rating: T
--
He’s having fun, he is! He’s finally out of Hawkins and seeing places he never thought he’d get to see, meeting people from all walks of life, and experiencing it all with his best friend. What more could Steve ask for?
Eddie being with him, for one.
Steve sighs as he leans against a nearby post, letting the misting rain fall around him as he smokes a cigarette. He switched to Eddie’s brand a few weeks ago, right before they left, to have some kind of reminder of his smell, his taste. Paired with the cologne he sprays on the few articles of clothes he stole from Eddie to pack away.
He knows he’s being dramatic. Eddie’s home, not dead. He’s safe and sound back in Hawkins (which is what Robin would call an oxymoron – he knows this because every time she says it, he makes the same joke about how oxen can’t be morons if they can’t read) and staying with Wayne until he gets back.
This is a once in a lifetime trip, probably the last time he’ll get so much one-on-one time with Robin before they grow up and have different lives. He’s getting to travel and explore before his life turns into… Well, whatever it’s destined to be. Steve’s still figuring that out.
Robin, on the other hand, has her life mapped out down to the letter. She’s going to school in Portland in a few months, after she already deferred for a year, and then she’ll study anthropology and all of the languages she can shove into her genius brain. She’ll date around, travel a bit more on jobs, and then once she’s thirty something, she’ll settle down with the love of her life and Steve. He’s been informed several times that he’s included in all of her plans by default, but they both know that’s not going to happen.
They’re on different paths, so there’s sure to be a bit of separation which will be the hardest thing Steve’s ever gone through. He’ll do it for her though, so she can live her life to the fullest.
And Eddie will be waiting with open arms to catch him.
Steve takes a long pull from the cigarette, holds, and then lets out the smoke through the corner of his lip. The man at the phone booth is still prattling on, waving his hands as he speaks in angry French to the person on the other line. He’s made like three calls since Steve’s been waiting, watching for his opportunity to pick up the phone.
They only have a few more weeks, sixteen days to be exact, before they land back in Hawkins. Then it’s just a few days before they’re on the move again, this time packing all their shit and moving to the west coast. They’re making a whole road trip out of it, ending in Seattle to move into the new apartment. Only a week after that they move Robin into her dorm in Portland.
He already feels like he’s fraying at the edges, even as the nicotine calms his nerves.
The man at the phone booth slams the phone down onto the receiver with an expletive Steve does understand. He hasn’t picked up a lot of the languages they’ve been around, but he definitely knows the words you’re not supposed to. It’s like a gift. (It really is a gift, Steve thinks, considering he’s only cataloging the words and how to use them properly so he can report back to Eddie who loves this kind of thing. He’ll probably work it into a song or something.)
Steve pushes off the pole and takes another drag of his cigarette only for the man to yank the phone back into his hand and punch in more numbers. As he slips in the coins, Steve groans and runs a hand through his hair, flicking the ash off the cigarette with his other hand. It’s nearly burned to the butt; time is running out. The rain is getting harder too, not enough to duck for cover, but it’s starting to leave droplets on Steve’s skin, little spots darkening the fabric of his polo.
It’s probably for the best, he thinks. They’re not supposed to call. It’s too expensive and too risky; what if Steve gets the times wrong and Eddie’s not home? So they agreed, no calls.
But it’s a month and a half in and Steve’s at his wits end. He misses Eddie’s voice, misses the way he’d answer the phone when he knew it was Steve. Going from “Munsons,” in a brisk, direct tone to a drawled out, “Stevie! Hi baby,” that’s all deep tones and sugary words, it never fails to kick up the storm of butterflies in his stomach and set aflame his cheeks.
He knows how the conversation would go too. They’ll talk about how much they’ve missed one another, then one of them will fill the other in on what they’ve missed before time runs out on the call. They can’t afford to make more than one call, can only talk for a few minutes at a time, five at most, and it’s never enough.
Steve feels his eyes getting watery without his permission. He coughs, trying to force the tears out before he starts crying in earnest. Once his lungs aren’t burning, he takes another drag and closes his eyes, as if to pretend that he’s just taken Eddie’s cigarette out of his mouth and he’ll be taking it back by any means any second now.
He doesn’t though because he’s not in Paris, he’s back in Hawkins.
His watch beeps; the alarm he set before leaving the museum went off. He’s out of time. Steve told Robin he’d only be a few minutes, fifteen at most, then he’d be back to see the next exhibit. She’s so excited to show him the statues and he’s excited to see them because of her excitement.
He just needed a minute. He just needed Eddie.
Steve puts out the cigarette and shoves the cooling butt into an ashtray on a nearby bistro table. He shoves his hands into his pockets and makes his way back to the museum.
It’s just a few more days.

The late afternoon sunlight cast a golden hue over the empty stretch of beach. It was rare to have the place to yourselves, alone without a mass of people scattered about, but you were grateful for the relative quiet. The only sound to be heard was the crashing of waves, breaking against the shoreline, and the low hum of some soft rock song on the radio.
A soft breeze blew through the Bronco, warm sea air filling your nose as you relaxed, and you swore there’d never been a more perfect moment. It was easy to get lost in the beauty of your new home, in the sun and the sand and the warmth of it all, and you reveled in the peace as you leaned into Bradley’s side.
Warm fingers, calloused from years of baseball and work, brushed at the exposed skin of your arm. The weight of his arm around your shoulders, anchoring you to the moment at hand, was a comfort you would never tire of. He radiated warmth, always a few degrees hotter than the average, and though you’d worried it would be too much in the California heat, you found yourself seeking it out as a gust of sea air blew.
As Bradley pulled you closer, slid you across the seat and tucked you into his side, you took a moment to study him.
Bradley looked beautiful in the golden light, warm and soft and utterly breathtaking. The west coast sun had done him good, gave his skin a glow that had yet to fade and seemed to set him at ease in a way Virginia hadn’t been able to, and you made no effort to hide your awe as you studied him.
The moment the sun began to sink lower, he’d tucked his aviators into the collar of his undershirt. Soft brown eyes glittered in the sunlight, held nothing but a hard-earned contentment as he watched the waves crash onto shore, and you couldn’t help yourself as you reached out for him.
With a soft smile, you lifted your hand and gently traced the curve of his jaw, the few silvery scars that marred his skin. A barely there twitch of the corner of his mouth was the only indication he gave that he noticed and you bit back a laugh as your thumb brushed along the edges of his mustache.
Though the new assignment had been an adjustment - packing up your lives and moving across the country, Bradley getting used to working as an instructor and teaching students who seemed to have more in common with Hangman than with him, building a new routine - it was one that seemed to suit him. The set of his shoulders was more relaxed, the light had returned to his eyes, and he looked truly content.
It was truly a sight to behold, a wonder that reminded you just why you fell so hard in love with Bradley, and sent a pang of warmth spreading throughout your limbs. Something low simmered in the pit of your stomach, a desire to remind him just how much you love him, and you grinned as you brushed at the corner of his mouth.
“Roo?” The call of his name broke the delicate silence, sounded over the soft sound of crashing waves, but in no way felt unwelcome as he tipped his head to glance at you. When he pressed a soft kiss to your palm before smiling, gaze soft and so reverent it made your heart ache, you felt yourself melt further into his embrace as the warmth only grew more intense. “Can we break a rule?”
The jab was soft, poking gentle fun at his rule following nature - though, you’d gotten to see him break more rules than most, had gotten to see the wilder side of Bradley Bradshaw that others assumed didn’t exist - and he rolled his eyes fondly but laughed anyway. “What’d you have in mind?”
Instead of answering aloud, you shot him a saccharine smile and continued to brush your fingers across his sun-warmed skin. You trailed slowly along the curve of his jaw, down the column of his throat, and bit the inside of your cheek as you felt him swallow. Goosebumps began to erupt across his skin, despite the temperature, and you felt a sudden rush of pride at your ability to fluster the beautiful man before you as you continued your descent.
As your fingers trailed down his torso, stopping only to trace the band of his jeans and circle the button, Bradley inhaled sharply. He knew where this was going and a peek from beneath your lashes confirmed he’d taken a quick glance around, just to be certain no one was around. “Honey,” he began, voice low, “are you sure?”
This wouldn’t be the first time you’d done something of the sort. Back in Virginia, when the beaches closed for winter and tourists took a few months off, you’d fulfilled a few of your shared fantasies. Bradley wasn’t keen on the idea of getting caught - not when he knew the risks - but he had a bit of an exhibitionist streak. It was a quick shot of adrenaline, not quite the same rush as flying but close enough, and you’d grown to enjoy it, too.
Though there was an elevated risk - a handful of cars had come and gone, spending a few moments on the beach and shattering your illusion of privacy - and though your home was only a short drive away, you wanted to sink into the moment. Bradley had never looked more beautiful and was a giver by nature, generous and loving almost to a fault, so you found it only fair to give him something in return.
“I’m sure,” you assured him with a smile. When he pressed his fingers beneath your chin and tipped your head to look you in the eye, you batted your lashes at him. “Just wanna make you feel good.”
Bradley swallowed, eyed you as you shifted closer and trailed your hand to his thigh, and laughed quietly. “You always do, honey,” he promised as he allowed his hand to fall to his lap. He spared another glance at the deserted parking lot, at the beach devoid of any others, and dragged his tongue along his bottom lip. “We have to be quick,” he reminded you, brows furrowing as he hated to be demanding, especially in a moment like this. “Don’t wanna get caught.”
“I know. We’ve done this before,” you reminded him with a grin. A quiet laugh escaped him, acknowledging the truth in your statement. “Just relax, babe,” you urged, fingers gliding over the button of his jeans.
With a deep breath, Bradley sank back into his seat and shifted. His legs spread a touch wider, enough to accommodate the growing bulge in his jeans, as he removed his arm from your shoulders to give you a little more room to work. The moment he released you, you twisted in your seat to get a little more comfortable - as comfortable as you could, given the circumstances - and shot him a grin.
Though you were short on time, you still took a moment to drag your hands along his thighs, allowing your nails to rake over the denim in the same way they often did when you were given the opportunity to worship his bare thighs. Another quiet laugh, this one a little more confident - not exactly smug, but as close as Bradley ever seemed to get - drew your attention. When you glanced at him from beneath your lashes, Bradley lifted a hand to cup your cheek.
“You can ride my thigh when we get home, honey,” he promised, lips curving into a smirk as you sighed at the thought and leaned into his touch.
“Don’t try to bribe me into rushing, Bradshaw,” you teased after a moment’s pause to regain your composure. “I will hold you to that, though.”
As your fingers returned to the button of his jeans, popping them open and reaching for the zipper, Bradley laughed. “Bribe? I would never,” he declared, amusement lightening his eyes as he cradled your jaw. “But I’m counting on you holding me to it. You look so perfect falling apart on my thigh.”
The warmth that had been simmering in the pit of your stomach spread throughout your limbs, burning out of control, and you pressed your thighs together in search of a moment of friction as you tugged Bradley’s jeans down just enough to free his cock from the denim. “Flattery will get you everywhere, babe.”
Before he could retort, some witty quip about being exactly where he wanted, you leaned in and traced the vein running along the underside of his cock. The words died on the tip of his tongue, lost to the crashing of waves, as his hand shifted from your jaw to the back of your head.
Bradley made no effort to control your movement - he rarely did - but you melted under the weight of his touch all the same. The angle wasn’t the most comfortable but you’d learned how best to deal with it and shifted just enough to make breathing a little easier as you wrapped your hand around the base of his cock.
A plea for urgency was on the tip of his tongue, you knew him well enough to feel the tension in his his thighs and the way his fingers flexed, so you took mercy on him. You wrapped your lips around the tip and swirled your tongue, lapping at the precum beading there.
“Fuck.” Bradley’s sharp exhale carried over the breeze, filled your ears and spurred you on as you slowly took more of him. Though you had only just begun touching him, he sounded well on his way to wrecked, desperate and eager for more. “Feels so good, honey.”
His praise shot straight to your core, had you shifting in your seat in search of relief, and the thought of slipping your free hand between your thighs crossed your mind, only briefly. You knew that it would only distract him, encourage him to pull you onto his lap and make a mess of you both before you made your way home, and you wanted to focus on him, if only for a moment.
Refraining was difficult, but you poured your focus into Bradley.
In the beginning, taking the entirety of his length was difficult - a skill that had to be learned through practice, though you couldn’t complain as Bradley always reciprocated - but it had gotten easier. You pulled away for a moment, took a deep breath, before slowly taking him all.
Bradley swore lowly, a deep exhale that was accompanied by a flex of the hand at the back of your head, and you reached to tap the back of it - a signal that gave him permission to guide your head as he saw fit. “Breathe through your nose, honey,” he reminded you, voice rough and low with lust, “just like that. Fuck, take me so well.”
The hand he used to guide your movements was gentle, never pushing too far as you began to slowly bob your head. You listened to his advice, breathing through your nose and attempting to calm your gag reflex, as you glanced up at him from beneath your lashes.
Though you often imagined he couldn’t get more beautiful, Bradley looked otherworldly in the throes of passion. A crimson flush began at his cheeks and spread down his throat, disappeared beneath the collar of his undershirt, and his typically warm eyes were dark with lust. His chest heaved gently, rising and falling with each shaking breath, and his lips parted with low noises of pleasure.
A combination of the pleasure and adrenaline - the rush of being in public, in the Bronco with little to hide you from prying eyes - had Bradley on edge far quicker than usual but you knew that, in this case, he didn’t exactly mind. Instead, he used the gentle hand on your head to guide you just a touch faster, to take him just a bit deeper, as he chased his high.
The tension in his thighs, the way his fingers pressed into the material of the seat, the weight of his hand pressing against your head all told you that he was close. You doubled down your efforts and hollowed out your cheeks, seeking to push him over the edge.
Bradley came with a low curse, words spilling from his lips and melding with the sounds of the beach around you, and you eagerly swallowed all he had to give. He took a moment to ride out the aftershocks, milking his cock completely in the warmth of your mouth, before gently pulling you away.
With a teasing grin, you pressed a final kiss to his hip before sitting up and batted your lashes at him. “You good, Roo?”
“More than,” he promised as he quickly slipped himself back into his jeans without bothering to button them. “Let’s go home,” he urged, voice rough with lust and still a touch breathless. “I can’t wait to watch you fall apart for me, honey.”
The promise in his voice was more than enough to have you on edge, eager and ready for what awaited you, and you knew that whatever he had in store was more than worth the risk you took.
