Tim Drake’s got a history with cloning. So does Vlad Masters.

Tim is past his “cloning-deceased-best-friends-in-the-basement” phase. Really, he is. But back when he wasn’t, he’d had all sorts of research compiled, on every type of cloning tech ever recorded.

One company, VladCo, had negotiated itself an amount of Cadmus’ exclusive resources to study the interactions between cloned tissue and recently-discovered ectoplasm. The quasi-sentient abilities of ectoplasm, in theory, might help fill a host body with a real soul.

The contract Tim had dug up is frankly insane. VladCo is in no way beholden to share the results of its study, nor does it need to return any of the equipment, and VladCo’s relationship with Cadmus is under a strictly worded gag order. Nobody in their right mind would’ve signed it. Cadmus did, and aside from a few million dollars, Vlad Masters got his machines gratis.

And now, a couple years after the contract was signed, fulfilled, and buried away, VladCo has done a grand total of nothing with it.

The guy’s rich. And a genius. There’s no way all that tech’s been left to collect dust in storage with how aggressively it was acquired. Masters was going to do something with it, and it was going to be revolutionary. (Tim had actually planned to steal into VladCo for notes, before the thing with the Brain, and Cassie finding out, and the intervention that followed… yeah. He’s over it.)

It’s suspicious as all get out. Eventually, though, the whole Masters deal took a back burner to a crisis (followed by a crisis… followed by a crisis).

But now with Kon and Bart back, and a few less things on his plate, Tim thinks the responsible thing to do is finally head a classic Team investigation to Master’s Manor, Wisconsin.

The way that the Gaylor stuff is SO similar to the Phandom is insane to me. Like, from the evidence that Phannies collected of them sharing clothes, down to their coming out during Pride month 2019 vs the failed coming out theories from the same year. Even the way that some Phannies figured out that they had two apartments by piecing together the smallest glimpses reminds me of ttb and the white umbrellas theory. Except Dan and Phil did confirm they had a second apartment used for filming videos, and the umbrella thing was ridiculous. Also, don't feel a need to post this if you don't want to, I know you've distanced yourself from Gaylor but you're the only person I follow that is into both Dan and Phil and I know you used to follow Gaylor stuff, I just wanted to share my fun little observation.

no literally!! one of my best friends was super into phan at the same time i was really into gaylor and we talked a lot about how many parallels there were between the two fandoms. idk if you know the 2009 phan song but i literally tried to write a k*ylor one because i was so jealous they had that LMAO. the intensity of the both fandoms and the way that ended up negatively affecting the people involved is really similar (definitely not unique to just these two fandoms either). phan coming out was truly so wild and formative and like...validating to me, because, at the end of the day, sometimes the intuition you have about people just is right. sometimes it isn't, but when people love each other a lot (in whatever way), you can usually tell. especially when you have countless instances of their public interactions documented to observe. it's the way people go about "proving" it that i think often spirals into weird territory, especially when it has to do with closeted queerness. idk.

to anyone dealing with ptsd, has there been anything that has helped relieve some of the symptoms?

#im emotionally stuck due to the constant reliving of what happened #i get these weirdly intense flashbacks where i can remember the how the fabric of the couch looked like up close #and how they felt. and how everything looked. the way the colored lights hit the room a certain way #i think i did myself a disservice by thinking i was soooo in love that i didn’t want to forget any details lmao #now i can remember everything like a photograph and sometimes i find myself back in my old apartment and the fear floods my chest #and i can’t breathe and my stomach starts turning it’s terrible. i really felt like i was in hell #i stopped smoking ouid 3 weeks ago bc whenever these flashbacks would happen the high would make them HD and it would send me into a loop #but now i think weed was the thing keeping me above water… it’s been a rough 3 weeks. but before i start smoking again #i wanted to ask if anyone found something else that made it a little easier #it’s been months since our break up and i really want to move on. i’ve tried to meet other people but i’m terrified of men #and i find myself unable to connect with anyone… #i’ve been physically better which i am so grateful for because being unhealthy was my biggest reason i was so depressed #i’ve been doing therapy but i talk about the same thing with her every week. i’m tired of it #i think i’m still in disbelief that they did that to me. i never thought they’d be capable of hurting someone so badly. #i can’t get over the fact that he r***** me for months while i was disabled and pretended not to know what he was doing was bad #i realized he knew when he tried to make it look like i was crazy. that made me really sad. i think i was hoping he was clueless so #i could still believe he was a good person… or at least the man i fell in love with. i was willing to forgive him once he apologized… #when he tried to make it seem like i was going insane the blindfold came off and i saw him for who he really was #like no wonder i was so scared of u dude… no wonder i kept having panic attacks anytime we were together and i couldn’t sleep next to u #i’ve been afraid to admit that shit broke me as a person. i don’t think i’ll ever be the same. i can’t function. #plus knowing i stayed for her bc i was worried for her and didn’t want her to experience the same thing without someone there bc i realized #how good he was at gaslighting and lying. only to find out she was waiting for an excuse to get rid of me… she wanted me gone… #i went thru all that for nothing… #and i still don’t understand why each time i tried to leave for my own good- to get medical help and support they begged me to stay!!! why #brain vomit

Mike Chang

Not ONCE was he out of line. He was a sweet boyfriend. He never bullied Kurt, and was one of the first to stand up for him. He always chose Glee club.

Genuinely, I can't think of a single bad thing he ever did. Sure, you can blame it on the fact, that he didn’t have a lot of screentime, but I'd say enough to prove that he's a total sweet heart <3
