How I imagine Pokémon as real people because I'm extremely bored right now.
(All of them are like depicted as real people in the one shots and this is my opinion so don't get offended! They are seniors in high school in these one shots. Pronouns are included, again my opinions!!).
Pikachu:
He/Him.
I can imagine that he's a player.
He's definetly a virgin though (he claims he has bodies to blend in but in reality we know he doesn't).
He's not too short but not too tall. Probably around 5'7ish??
He plays basketball.
Been playing on the school team since 7th grade.
Bro plays it politically.
He's such a blonde. Such an idiot. Also still very naturally blonde.
Eevee:
She/they probably.
Oh she's definetly that lightskin baddie on tiktok.
But in school/person she's really sweet.
High pitched but not an annoying voice.
"Uhh"
Just naturally pretty awkward in person until you get to know her or you're not in public.
She's confused about math and simply thinks it shouldn't exist.
She's short.
She's probably like.. 5ft.
And wears ripped jeans and hoodies a lot.
Squirtle:
They/them.
They are pretty quiet unless spoken to.
Likes to read a lot, you'd find them in the library often.
Is really loud when in private areas like at a friend's house.
They're short. Like 5'2.
Found out they liked the pronouns "they/them" on accident.
A friend called them a "they" one time and they immediately fell in love.
On the swimming team but doesn't race.
Just likes the water and exercise I guess lol.
Bulbasaur:
He/they.
Would rather write than read.
Very smart for some reason. Like his grades are extremely good.
"I'm so tired."
Mad eyebags.
Constantly complaining about how tired he is knowing it's his fault he stays up all night.
He honestly doesn't know what his sexuality is but he lowkey hates everyone except his friends so he can't really decide.
Charizard:
He/they.
Tall and loud.
Feisty. Always talking back to teachers.
His conduct is full of detentions.
But through all this he keeps his grades at an exceptional level to stay on the basketball team.
He also probably wrestles out of school.
He's tall.
Probably like 6'1.
He doesn't care who is talking to him, disrespect him and you're a goner.
Jigglypuff:
She/her.
Biggest feminist.
Huge lesbian too.
She hates all men except Bulbasaur and Squirtle.
She thinks Pikachu is a pushover.
Wants to run for president because she believes a woman should be president.
She also just likes politics and boring stuff like that in general.
Reasonably in the middle when it comes to height.
Probably 5'5.
Gengar:
He/they but doesn't really like pronouns. He perfers his name.
Used to be a braceface and a loser until freshman year when he got his braces off and changed his style.
Probably emo but not weird emo.
He wears rings and bracelets but only silver ones.
All his school supplies are purple and it's cute.
Probably vapes in the bathrooms.
He's 5'6.
He has bleached hair and it actually looks good on him.
Scorbunny:
They/she/him. Does not care.
A fuckin annoying bitch.
Tall. Like 5'11.
So loud and obnoxious.
Def has an over-bite and braces.
Has a hate club called "scorbunny hate club" and a lot of people are in it.
Probably best friends with Charizard.
Plays basketball, track, cross country, and lacrosse.
Loves running. Not only running on their legs but runs their mouth all the time.
Ginger and Irish.
Grookey:
He/they.
He's so nice to everybody.
Always fundraising for the school.
Number one upperclassmen. Definetly friends with all the lower grades.
Principals favorite (the principal is probably his mom).
But he's no snitch.
He gets all the details about the kids who get in trouble from the principal.
Middle part. And he's brunette.
5'8 probably.

I absolutely LOVE the Squirtle/Wartortle illustrations by kantaro in Pokemon 151!
The Squirtle jumping so joyfully from the rock into the ocean, the colors are STUNNING! I love the contrast of the Squirtle's aqua blue framed in the vivid orange sky, the soft bit of blue reflecting in its shell and its tail just catching the sun, how little and squishy its body looks as it launches itself towards the water with such tremendous excitement!
The lineless style of the background gives me the feel of a travel poster and I sense the tropical environment around it from the rocks and trees framing the corners, the waterfall splashing with as much energy as the Squirtle!
The layered blues on the surface of the water and the bubbles rising at the corner make me FEEL the liquid rising to meet the Squirtle--I can just feel how the next moment it's going to break through and be immersed in a cool island swim!
And the Wartortle running along the sunset beach, this is somehow everything I always imagined for Wartortle! I adore the way the rich purple melts into the warm red/orange sky, the matching purple clouds and shadows in the foreground, and how the dimming sunlight glows red on Wartortle's deep blues!
I love how the yellow and orange of the sky illuminate the lapping waves, I can just feel the gentle motion of the sea at dusk. The aqua color of the ocean matches Wartortle's ears and tail and sets off the red-orange sand, I just love how the colors are here!
Wartortle looks so round and squishy, I love its happiness as it goes frolicking through the shallows, chasing the bubbles caught in the setting sun! The shine and deep shadow on its shell give it an almost jewel texture like real tortoise shell; I love the silhouetted splash Wartortle leaves as it goes running across the shore. It's so full of energy and delight at the end of a gorgeous day!
The colors in these are SO vivid and harmonized and the style is so cute and bursting with energy and joy. I just LOVE it (also Squirtle is my starter)

[ in response to this ; @ask-noonescity ]
He was just about to ask what Erebus was doing when he felt the pouch form in his paws.
He looked at it with wide eyes for some moments once the other removed his hands. Then he looked back at the Darkrai's face.
His ears were erect as he listened to Erebus explain the properties of the pouch; he soon realized that this was a gift to him.
A gift. Of all things, a gift.
It was another show of kindness, from someone else he barely knew.
[ ID: A grayscale drawing of Lief at the Dragonspiral Tower summit, shown from the waist up and directly facing the viewer. He's looking somewhat upwards with a look of pleasant surprise, with the faint blush on his cheeks drawn as semi-transparent pinkish red lines. In both paws, he's holding a small pouch with two feathers attached. End ID ]
It would be some moments more before he could speak again.
Lief: "Y-you're saying these are edible? To me they kinda look like that weird medicine... thingy."
Yet he plucked one up to try it as he said this. True to what Erebus told him, it was pleasantly chewy, and lightly spicy; his preferred flavor.
Once again, he fell silent. Even after swallowing, he struggled with what to say. He soon averted his gaze.
It would be the gentle wagging of his tail that gave away he really liked the gift.
Even as he went on to say:
Lief: "Th-they're actually... not bad."

Hey guys I got that Delta emulator 2 weeks ago and was like "Yeah! I know this has the potential to be dentrimental to my brain chemistry but I think I should give pokemon a go!"
In summary: uh oh.
I dropped 25 hours on blue, promising myself I would 100% firered once I got there (as much as you can 100% emulators). I dropped 25 hours on crystal, promising I would 100% soulsilver. I currently have 10 hours on emerald. I. Am. In. Trouble.
My fingers tremble looking at the 3ds games I have no access to. I have asked my friends if I could borrow theres. None of them will let me so I am resorting to buying one. I am looking at what I know are maybe some of the worst pokemon games simply because I NEED them. I KNOW scarlet violet and sword shield suck. But I don't care. I have fixated on the grindy aspect and silly creatures of these games. I'm usually a story person. I don't care about the pokemon story at all. I play those games and I am a wild tween being set upon the world again to fuck shit up and catch them all. I AM THE STORY.
My older brothers were pokemon fanatics. They had binders full of cards and had nearly every game that came out since their birth (they were late 1900s/early 2000s kids and im a mid 2000s). But because they were fanatics, they did not want their grubby younger sister ruining their save files- Our younger brother has ruined a few gamecube and wii discs and I DEFINITELY accidentally overrode a wind waker file when I was little. so I was never allowed to touch the games.
Now, I am faced by pokemon conquest, pokemon rangers, pokemon mystery dungeon explorers of darkness, pokemon mystery dungeon explorers of sky, pokemon diamond, pokemon platinum, pokemon soulsilver, pokemon black, pokemon white 2, pokemon x, and pokemon sun. I grew up gatekept from what pokefans usually refer to as the best pokemon games (the ds ones), and I am sour that this is hitting me right now!
I CAN'T be doing this! I have a AP Chemistry exam tomorrow and the only bonds I'm focused on is if my pokemon love me! I don't even know who Chatelier is! I'm fucked!
