Hello Hello, thank you for requesting. It took me a hot second to finish this, but I hope you like it nonetheless. I don't ship Windblade and Starscream myself, so I hope the constellation I went with is acceptable. Have fun reading and let's go.

Starscream x Windblade (Mtmte)

Holocalls with his trine mates were a rare thing and something that Starscream, even if he would never actually admit it to anyone, did enjoy. With all three of their lives so vastly different at this point, the chance to find a time everyone was free at was not high, but none the less, when they did find the time for it, they usually had a call. 

"- alas I think she isn't doing as badly as she could be doing. At least more competent than half the dimwits I work with." Starscream leaned back in his chair as he ranted about the various bots he had to work with, only to be interrupted by a half-suppressed, amused snort. Frowning, Starscream stopped his rant and looked at the holopad displaying his trine mates. Skywarp was struggling not to laugh out loud, while Thundercracker too seemed amused, even if a fondness that Starscream refused to acknowledge was visible in his eyes. 

Squinting at them, Starscream asked in a suspicious tone, "What? What's so funny to you?" As Skywarp still seemed to be busy giggling and laughing, Thundercracker was the one who answered his trine leader. "It's just, you talk a lot about this Windblade. And not really negative either-" "You are so in love with her. Windblade this. Windblade that. Everyone is stupid except Windblade," Skywarp interrupted, still highly amused, and the way Starscream squawked in protest and offense, made him only laugh more. 

"I am not! Shut up, you don't know what you're talking about," he denied quickly, but for the two seekers, it wasn't too hard to see the underlying embarrassment. For him to successfully hide completely, the three of them had known each other for too long and too well. "I mean, explain it then. You complain about everyone except her. Pits, you complained plenty about us too.", Thundercracker challenged with a slight smirk, " It's nothing wrong with liking someone, you know?". Crossing his arms in front of his chassis and scowled at his trine mates. 

While they perhaps weren't completely wrong with their assessment, the ruler of Cybertron didn't think he was in love like his two trine mates seemed to think. He could appreciate Windblade as a co-worker and an intelligent bot, but not any further than that. No matter how much he liked talking with her or how much he enjoyed her company. "You're wrong. I do not love her. You're both delusional and should mind your own business," he snapped at the holopad. 

Thundercracker rolled his optics, while Skywarp snorted and started to laugh once more. "Sure sure, whatever you say, Screamer. Anyways, have to go. Do me a favor and get your slag together, Screamer," Skywarp pressed out between giggles before saluting jokingly and then ending the call from his side. 

This left Starscream and Thundercracker alone in the holocall and after Skywarp's rapid exit, there was a short amount of silence only filled by Starscream's visible irritation. "You know, you don't have to listen to us, but you shouldn't fool yourself, Starscream. You like her; do something about it. Or at least think about it. Now, I have to go too. Good luck with whatever you decide to do brother.", a short wave, and the call ended completely. 

Distracting himself momentarily with an annoyed scoff at Thundercracker using the term "brother" to refer to him, his processor quickly returned to thinking about what they had said and the bot surrounding their conversation. Windblade. She was … a lot of things he wasn't and would never be. It was nice to work with her, not only because she was intelligent but also because she tolerated him despite what he had done. He could admit to himself that he wasn't a good bot, by far. A fact he had accepted long ago and was only reinforced by that pesky hallucination. Even if said hallucination had started to be nicer to him and their conversations, and didn't that sound insane even for him, had started to get tolerable and even fun. 

A ping from his door interrupted his thoughts, and with his previous annoyance still clear in his voice, he called out. "Come in!" He was ready to tear into anyone disturbing him the moment they came in, only to choke back his words as the bot he had just been thinking about entered his office. 

Still looking at her datapad as she entered, Windblade looked up only once she was fully inside Starscream's office. The lack of complaining was a bit unexpected, but as she looked up, she found herself even more surprised by the odd look on Starscream's faceplate. Not closed off or cold like usual; instead, he looked a little high strung, and she squinted at him—was that a blush? What in the pit had he been doing? "What are you looking at?" the other seeker snapped, and her focus on his face vanished as she rolled her optics, annoyed. No matter what was up with him, it clearly had him in a bad mood. Better get this done and get out as fast as possible. 

"Nothing. Now I am here to deliver the report you wanted me to give you about everything needed to repair the next part of Metroplex. Can I just leave it or do you want anything else?" Windblade replied as she approached Starscream's desk, giving a light wave of the datapad she had been looking at. There was a klik of silence that prompted Windblade to look up at Starscream once more, only to see him slightly shake his head before he replied. "No, nothing. Just leave it; I'll contact you, if anything else comes up." Windblade frowned inwardly; he even sounded off. Did something happen? Should she be worried? Starscream might be difficult to deal with at times, but she couldn't deny that she had taken a certain liking to the seeker. Nonetheless, it wasn't her business, and she was under no illusion that he would appreciate her trying to find out more. 

As Windblade put the datapad on his desk and then turned around to leave, Starscream internally fought with himself. Still having the words of his trine mates in his processor, he found himself actually thinking of asking Windblade for a shared dinner, while still trying to deny the appeal it held to him. The click of the door opening was what pulled him from his thoughts, and before he could stop himself, he called out. "Actually, Windblade, I have a question." The moment she turned around and looked at him with open curiosity, he found himself doubting his idea. He opened his mouth, but the words seemed to be unable to leave him. 

Struggling momentarily, he took a deep in-vent and then just asked. "Would you like to share a dinner with me?" The silence stretched on, in which neither of the two said anything, and already Starscream started to regret asking her, as suddenly a light giggle left Windblade. His mortification was quickly replaced by insult and offense, but before he could even begin to speak, Windblade beat him to it. 

"I'd love to, but Primus, were you blushing because of that?" she asked, with fondness in her tone and a slightly flattered look. Starscream blinked in shock, surprised she actually agreed, only to realize exactly what she had said. "I did not blush!"

Bot Buddy the Senior Seeker being a parental figure to Thundercracker, Skywarp, and Starscream

Buddy was one of the older seekers in the aerial troops.

If fact Buddy was probably the oldest bot in the Decepticon division. But despite being one of the older bots Buddy made it up with being an experienced flyer.

With their results it landed Buddy as one of Satrscream’s right hand assistant /teammate.

This meant that Buddy would be spending a lot of time with the Elite Trine.

“Buddy, reporting for duty, Starscream.”--Buddy

“Finally, someone who has some respect for the future Leader of the Decepticon army.”--Starscream

“Urgh.”--Skywarp

“Great another suck up…”--Thundercracker

“Well, isn’t that a bit ambitious isn’t it Stascream? Maybe not the future leader of the army—”--Buddy

“How dare—”--Starscream

“Don’t interrupt me Kid.”--Buddy

“Kid!?”--Starscream

“Nevermind I like this one.”--Skywarp

“Shush! Both of you!”--Buddy

“I was saying use your position to improve the lives of those who work with you.”--Buddy

“Now why would I do that!”--Starscream

“More kindness you spread the more kindness you’ll receive in the end.”--Buddy

Enough time the Elite Guard had become too accustomed to the older bot being there all the time. Even after the war the Trine continued to have communication with Buddy.

Starscream wanted Buddy to stay on Cybertron as one of his advisors.

No offense to Rattrap but he isn’t the best bot to always have around. And he refuses to hang out with Windblade anymore than what he has to. Buddy does take time to visit Starscream whenever they are back on Cybertron.

“Screamer?”--Buddy

“Buddy?”--Starscream

“What are you doing?”--Buddy

“Having the mechs repaint your ship.”--Starscream

“Paint my ship?”--Buddy

“Yes, it was looking rather dull. Your ship shouldn’t have to look like that scrapheap.”--Starscream

“This isn’t a way for you to have me stay on Cybertron?”--Buddy

“No…”—Starscream

“Well then since I’m going to be here for a while, what’s going on between you and Windblade?”

“…”--Starscream

Buddy has made their home on Earth. It’s much more peaceful there now that the war is over. Buddy has to schedule meetings with Skywarp as his work has him moving all around with The GI Joe.

Skywarp likes it when Buddy comes over and races them around.

“C’mon Buddy best out of 25?”--Skywarp

“How about we take a breather? I can’t fly like I used to Skywarp.”--Buddy

“Aww! C’mon!”--Skywarp

“How about you tell me about that Rock guy?”--Buddy

“How about we take that breather.”--Skywarp

Buddy has to wait by themselves for a while to see Thundercracker.

9 times out of 10 Buster finds Buddy before Buddy has to try in finding Thundercracker. He gives Buddy a lot of copies of his screenwriting.

“Wow TC! This is a lot of screen writes.”--Buddy

“Yeah! I’m trying to get some of them to be produced soon!”--Thundercracker

“You seem to have a lot of good ideas here. But you might want to go over some of them again. I don’t think human’s have a last name like ‘Boyfriend’.”--Buddy

“I mean you can help me out as my editor. Just as a thought.”--Thundercracker

“Sorry kiddo, not my thing. I am however invested in how this one human having a crush on this other human that sounds suspiciously like Ms. Marrissa Farborne.”--Buddy

“Umm…”--Thundercracker

“And your love interest here kind of reminds me of y—”--Buddy

“HEY! Buster wants to play with you now! Isn’t that right Buster!”--Thundercracker

“Arf!”--Buster

Each seeker tries to keep Buddy longer each visit.

None want Buddy to leave.

Buddy never stays, but they always come back at the end of the day.
