this sketch is inspired by the amazing amazing gift fic lock and key; music and lyrics which canon_is_relative wrote for me during the 2022 @leverage-secret-santa-exchange, which was in turn inspired by headcanons i had posted to tumblr and then here. i was immediately so blown away by the vividness of the story's description that i knew i had to draw it. it took half a year but here it is!
