Adam gets shish-kebabed by Niffty, dies, is revived as a sinner and goes to the hotel bc he's not gonna waste his time scraping by in some back alley, he's too important for that! Charlie begrudgingly lets him stay, as long as he promises to work on becoming a better person just like every other resident is expected to. He refuses... until Vaggie shoves her spear up his nostril. He's somewhat behaved after that.

He just loooooves getting on Alastor's nerves though. Seeking him out to tease him, mocking him for talking a big game only to get taken out in one hit, prodding his chest and laughing when Alastor flinches. Charlie made Alastor promise not to maim him, but Alastor doesn't hesitate to put the now much weaker Adam through the wall whenever he crosses a line. Which is frequent.

Then the day comes that it's Alastor's turn to make dinner and Adam tries his cooking for the first time and he. Is. Hooked!

Suddenly his attitude around Alastor does a complete 180. He still teases Alastor a bit, but it's less cutting. He sucks up to Alastor, laying on the compliments thick and hovering whenever Alastor's in the kitchen. Unsurprisingly, the number of times he finds himself put through the wall does not decrease.
