Gotta say when you describe these yandere situations and whatnot, I just gotta wonder how does one casually bring up the fact they are a semi immortal being which represents a whole ass nation to their darling because if I was them I would think they were on all kinds of drugs.

Dry, dying grass crackled like popping joints as (Y/N) ran through the sparce countryside. Each pant that escaped her dry, bruised throat felt like a hot, busted, lightbulb. Painful and unwanted in this peaceful land.

Though, she never felt peace. Instead, she had felt hunted and tormented by one man, no that was too nice a term for such a creature.

The being was a tall, orange haired, demon named, Sebastiaan De Smit, or Baas as he had urged her to call him.

Like a deadly serpent, he had slithered his way into her life. Whisking her away on adventures, showering her in compliments and love while keeping his true missions a secret.

It wasn’t until his coils had tightened with no possibilities of squirming free, that (Y/N) realized her mistake. The Dutch man had not only isolated her, but black mailed her. Her darkest fears and false rumors with fake evidence held above her head like a guillotine’s blade ready to drop unless she submitted.

For many months she was stuck in his home, forced to live in similar patterns of a housecat. Sleep by day, awake by night to deal with a maliciously happy captor. (Y/N) attempted to avoid him, hiding in various places around the house, but each time she would be found. Dragged into his blood speckled clothing.

It became too much. Even under the threat of a destroyed life, (Y/N) squeezed her way out of the second story window, falling on to a tree branch of the near by oak on her way down.

(Y/N)’s bruised ribs still ached at its remembrance, and a large root helped knock her back to the present. Knees bleeding from scraping against the dry ground.

Hissing, (Y/N) stood and brushed off the dirt, smearing the small red droplets. Glancing around, the foreign woman realized she had reached the edge of city. Its lights were like lighthouse guiding a ship and she was not going to refuse its assistance.

Energy renewed (Y/N) dashed toward the town. Her hair flew in the wind as she entered the city with the rising sun.

Trotting, (Y/N) wandered around the strange city looking for an open business. Her eyes flitting like a scared animal in fear that her openness could lead to her recapture.

A loud whoop made caused a rabbit-like jump from the panicked woman as she stared at its source.

The classic flashing lights turned the fear into joy as a smile widened her face. (Y/N) ran to the vehicle, tears of relief streaking her face as she bounced in place, waiting for the officers to exit.

Two officers slowly exited the car. Stoic faced and dark, armored uniforms were on the fit men. Their steps long as they approached (Y/N).

She showed no fear, as they questioned her about who she was and why she was wondering around bare foot.

(Y/N)’s hiccups broke up her sentences as she answered each one, multiple times asking to go to the nearest embassy. To let her go home.

The two men shared a dark look, as her tears dried, it’s unknown message sending a shiver down (Y/N)’s spine.

As she stepped back, they stepped forward. The awkward dance continued for a few steps, before the pressure became too much.

She ran.

Two feet then three feet of distance and it continued to grow as the cops dashed behind her. They yelled for her stop. Warned of worse consequences to come, but she didn’t care. Something within in her screamed at her to run.

Grabbing the dark street sign at the corner, (Y/N) attempted to use it as a way to round the corner without loosing speed. The metal squeaked as she rounded, ready to dash off.

When two metal prongs hit her arm. Jolts of electricity made muscles tense as she collapsed on the cold cement. A silent scream was obvious from the open mouth and wide eyes as her body entered a pattern of seizing and relaxing.

With the current slowing the world become hay. The officers closed in, grabbing (Y/N). They sounded far away despite holding her close. The last moment before she succumbed to the darkness was the car door closing.

When consciousness returned to (Y/N), she felt like stiff and on a plastic covered gym mat. Her heavy (E/C) eyes opened slowly and glanced around the grey cell.

There was nothing, but four walls and a door in the room. Nothing to help her escape.

Sitting up, the bed crinkled as her feet were placed on the icy floor. She began to chew on her lower lip, her teeth etching new scabs over an old scar.

Her mind didn’t have long to process the fullness of her situation when the loud clang of a door unlocking distracted her flustered mind.

Its iron hinges creaked as the door opened to a bright hall a dark silhouette within its frame.

(Y/N) gasped as Sebastiaan walked in with the grace of a predatory deer and a matching smile pulling on his cheeks.

“Hallo, mijn liefste.”

(Y/N) whimpered a small how as she pressed herself into the corner. The cinderblocks helping to hide nothing.

Chuckling, Sebastiaan covered his mouth, hiding his sharp teeth. “Why, the politie helped me.”

“Why would they help a monster like you?!” She cried. “You KIDNAPPED ME SEBASTIAAN FOR GOODNESS SAKE!”

His smile widened at the outburst, enjoying the emotions that (Y/N) was finally letting flow.

“It’s because as the second representee of the Netherlands, you” He pointed his clasped hands at (Y/N). “Have kept me from causing as much chaos. Thus, stopping me from ruining too many innocent lives for the hell of it.”

(Y/N)’s brows furrowed. “Second representive? Wh-what is that?”

“Let’s just say;” He gestured like he was weighing two options in his hands, “That means not only will you and I be together for a long time, but each escape could be deemed a national crisis.”

Her confusion remained; nothing felt answered, but her gut sank with the realization that no one would be able to save her.

One of her top favorite vacation spots is Amsterdam, Netherlands. She's seriously considering moving the two of you into a home settled there. The city of Amsterdam is the greatest contrast to her life in Chicago, and she absolutely loves that. Valentina and you would go café-hopping, fawning over the local architecture, observing art pieces and going antiquing.

As I mentioned in my last post, Valentina absolutely loves cooking your favorite dishes for you. There doesn't even have to be a special occasion, she just wants to treat you at all times. I mean, she already set the table and put down two plates of trofie al pesto, you simply can't say no.

On your one year anniversary, she returned home with a playfully suspicious look in her eye, you leaned in to kiss her before noticing her expression, "what's got you all worked up? I was thinking today we could -"

Then, she pulled down the collar of her shirt that revealed your name written in cursive with light brown ink. "Look!" She gleamed before biting down on her bottom lip and smiling, showing off her ghostly white teeth. You thought it was adorable how excited she seemed to have gotten your name tattooed on her body. Was it a bit of an extreme gift? Yeah, but it just showed how much she loved you! She isn't expecting you to do the same in return but she'd be the happiest woman in the world if you decided to.

The two of you had the best time together that day. She took you to a michelin star restaurant and surprised you with an anniversary dessert, your name written next to hers in chocolate syrup right under the pastry on the plate. The view outside the window made the setting even more romantic, adding on to the day you were celebrating. Also, she didn't just return home with a freshly applied tattoo on her skin, she came home with tons of gifts in her arms with, an extremely soft plushie poking its head out of one of the bags along with an abnormally sized bouquet.

When she's being interviewed by a fashion journalist or a podcast host, there's nothing they can do to make her quiet up about you, her perfect angel. She could care less about conversing on the topic of what's trendy or celebrity drama, she wants to talk about you and how your love affected her in the loveliest way.

She enjoys showing you the matching intimate sets she'd bought earlier on that day for the both of you. Of course, you can dress yourself, she knows that! But nothing could fill her with the same amount of deep warmth she feels as she helps apply garters onto your supple thighs, clasping a silk floral bra onto your chest that she loves so much.

Barbara Handler (Yandere! Barbie Girl)

Barbara absolutely adores the experience of getting ready for absolutely any occasion with you. She can't help but let her eyes wander in adoration as you step into a slip dress, asking for her help in zipping it up moments later. You're the most beautiful woman in the world to her, she believes everyone should think this way. All of the moments the two of you spend together are her most cherished soon-to-be memories , the way you make her feel is something that should be bottled.

The thing that upsets her the most is seeing you in a saddened state. She immediately wants to know what caused such a reaction out of you, she'll stop at nothing to punish the person that harmed you. As you calm down from the rollercoaster of emotions you just experienced, Barbara goes into other areas of the house to grab your favorite things in order to ensure that you'll feel better.

During your time at the cabin, the both of you huddle up together near the fireplace as coffee brews on the stove, binge watching vintage Christmas movies whilst snow falls onto the once green grass, Barbara laying her messy head of blonde hair onto your chest as you read to her by the immensely decorated Christmas tree.

She enjoys having you in the office with her as she works and comes up with different beneficial ideas for her company. Barbara is the most hard-working woman you know and she works so she can give you the best life you could ever live. You have to remind her a lot of the time to give herself a break and get off of her work laptop.

Don't get her wrong, she enjoys having date nights out but eating dinner in the comfort of your own home seems so much more relaxing and intimate to her. I've already mentioned this before and I'm going to do it again, she's a clingy wife and even moreso when in a private space. You looked so darn adorable.

She couldn't be happier that you were the one in which swept her off her heeled feet.

Netherlands

Abel may not be a fatal Yandere, but that doesn’t make him any less dangerous.

It's unlikely that you would know him in the first place. Despite his striking appearance, he's never been the kind of person to socialize, much less make friends. You wouldn't remember how you met him, but he would remember how he met you.

You were walking across the street during a busy day, talking to whoever was on your phone. You blended easily into the crowd. The moment was anything but memorable, much less extraordinary. But it was just that for him.

You wouldn't even realize he had been following you until weeks later. You were returning from work when suddenly you felt large hands grabbing you from behind, and then everything went dark.

Your life after that was simple. Wake up in his countryside estate, do the housework, garden, sew, and cook until he returns. The home had to be completely spotless from top to bottom, or you would be punished.

Every single thing that you do from dawn to dusk must be perfect. Even the smallest speck of dusk, the tiniest malfeasance, was justification for him to drag you to the cellar by your hair.

There you would remain, naked and freezing, until he decided you truly understood the mistake you had made. To earn his respect, not only as a partner but as a person, you must be perfect.

Sometimes it's easy to believe that he doesn't love you. Which is true, to an extent, as he's very forceful in his shaping of you. But... he does love you. Yes, he chose you because of your potential, but he still loves the things that make you... you. Even if he never acts on that love.

Your relationship will be rather dry. He is not particularly violent, nor is he particularly attracted or affectionate towards you. Abel wants you to be his partner in life before he wants you to be a romantic partner.

Despite his unreasonably high standards for you, he'd be a pretty placid Yandere. He doesn't have a violent temper, and he does care for you genuinely. His ways of showing that are just... horrible.

Sweden

Berwald is a... surprising Yandere, to say the least. He's very hard to predict, and understanding him is a task fit for nobody

You two were friends, neither close nor distant, when he fell in love. There would've been no way for you to know this, of course, considering how he barely acted like he liked you in the first place.

The way you found out was no more comforting. You were awoken in the middle of the night to find a handcuff around your wrist, tying you to your bed frame. And when you looked over, you were met with the daunting and unreadable face of Berwald.

Then, he explained what was going to happen. You were going to marry him, and you two would begin living together. No questions, no consideration of your own feelings, only... a statement. Then, he released you.

You tried to go to the police, only to receive absolutely no help. Seems like he had known you'd do that, and had prepared beforehand accordingly. By the time you returned to your home, your things were already gone and shipped to his home.

But once you accept your fate, Berwald is not very controlling. Yes, he expects you to love him and live with him, but whatever you want to do outside of that is totally fine with him. He's not overly paranoid, and can't seem to get upset with you over anything.

You're a free person, as long as you don't try to break up with him. Then, he may begin locking you in the house more often.

He's not very affectionate, but he loves spending time with you. Your voice is like music to his ears, and he can't get enough of hearing you talk. He loves every single part of you. He loves you so much that sometimes you worry you're the one manipulating him!

But when you bring up that concern, he won't dissuade you. It's better for him to be the victim in your eyes anyway. Maybe then you won't even think of another man, wracked with guilt over your actions... yes, that'd be perfect.

Denmark

Mathias is a deceptive Yandere.

When you two are originally friends, you wonder if he could ever hurt anyone on purpose. But when he drags you kicking and screaming home after your latest escape attempt, you wonder if he could ever truly love anyone.

He's methodical about his Yandere tendencies. He isn't impatient or harsh, he makes you love him before he finally takes you home. By the time you're chained up in one of his spare rooms, he's made sure absolutely nobody would ever wonder where you went.

Your relationship is nothing more than a game to him. Yes, he loves you, but not as a boyfriend should. He loves your desperation, your weakness... there's nothing more fun to him than forcing you into more and more pathetic states.

He loves building you up just to tear you down. Somedays, he wakes you up with a kiss on your forehead and breakfast in bed. Other days, you're woken up by him picking you up out of bed and throwing you to the floor.

Mathias has quite a temper too. It doesn't come out quite often, but when it does, you're the target of all of his pent-up anger.

It's hard to tell if he's aware of his horrible thoughts. Sometimes, he acts like he doesn't realize he's hurting you. But other times, he's clearly torturing you on purpose.

Either way, you'll quickly learn it's better to just not cross him. Even when he's smiling, you never know when that facade could drop. Especially in front of his family, you've learned how to pretend everything's alright.

And if you truly escaped... you have no idea what he would do. That's almost a scarier thought than the reality of staying with Mathias.

Hetalia headcanon

China reader only has 3 children, and it came from magical pregnancies. Those 3 children are Hong Kong, Philippines, and Indonesia. Hong Kong's Father is England, Philippines's father is Spain, and Indonesia's father is Netherlands. Also the reason why this has been brought to light was because someone asked " If parts of you got colonized by some other countries: for Example, Hong Kong; And Hong Kong is your kid, wouldn't that mean England is Hong Kong's dad? ". Honest to God, that question alone was enough to pop off a much more serious question like, " Wouldn't that technically mean you have more children other than Hong Kong then??? ". Basically China was forced to explain that she has the rare ability to get pregnant; Wether Naturally by having sex or magically, and all her pregnancies were magical ( Of course it was magical, Majority of the world didn't know she was a woman ). China was also forced to tell Spain, Netherlands, and England that they are the fathers of her children. It's still unknown if China have more children other than the 3. This also left the vast majority of the Asian countries that she took care of thinking if she is indeed their big sister or their mother, since the possibility of her being their mother instead is now on the table ( It might lead to a serious family meeting ). This is also another way of saying the China reader is indeed a certified MILF 😏 ( This headcanon was inspired by the China Reader book )

I am going to use this in both the remake of China female reader (when I remake it) but also, I am going to use it in a mini-series, keep an eye out for a mini-series of Various Yandere Hetalia Characters X Female China Reader

Yeah after that week... Anouk is getting killed.

Reader was devasted when they found out Anouk was murdered and of course the trio was taking care of Reader.

Oh how easy it is to gain Reader's trust.

How naïve they are...

How they couldn't wait to lock them up after they all graduate.

Chapter 1

“My dear, if you feed us any more I have no doubt that I shall burst.” Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard stated as he and his teammates sat around your dining table.

“Oh my god. This dessert is so good!” Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop groaned appreciatively after swallowing her first bite of tompouce.

Abby clinked her dessert fork against yours, “I couldn’t agree more.”

“You know that I’m particular about what I eat but this isn’t too bad.”

Tim rolled his eyes and swatted Tony on the arm, “If you look hard enough, you’ll find some praise in there somewhere.”

Tony shot Tim an unimpressed look before hitting him up the head.

“How foolish of me to think that you would be grateful to see your teammate after she was undercover for six months and not complain about her cooking for you.” Ziva piped up, glaring at the two men.

“Thank you Ziva. It’s good to know that you and some others appreciate my efforts.”

Ziva inclined her head and Delilah snickered into her food.

“Can I take some of the dessert home?” Jimmy inquired after he finished his plate and put his fork on top of it. “My new neighbours are from the Netherlands and I’d like to do the neighbourly thing and welcome them to the neighbourhood with something from their homeland.”

“That is a wonderful idea Mr. Palmer.”

“Of course you can, Jimmy.” You motioned to the remaining pieces of the cake, “Take as much as you want.”

Your eyes lingered on the one untouched piece of dessert that lay on the counter. Ducky noticed your worried gaze and he reached over the table to pat your wrist, “Jethro is relieved beyond all words that you are safe,” the Medical Examiner reassured you. “He will finish his call and then be back in to enjoy the dessert.”

You managed a smile, “Thanks Ducky.”

There was a clang and you spun around to see Ellie, Delilah, and Torres at the sink. They were all holding dishes except for Torres who was holding one of your tea towels. The three of them were wearing deer in headlights expressions, “We wanted to help. You fed us. It’s the least we could do.” Torres explained.

You shook your head fondly, “I have the best team.”

“Hear, hear!” Abby echoed, raising her fork with the last piece of dessert on it.

Your front door squeaked as your boss, Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, re-entered your house. His hair had grown since you had last been in Washington D.C. and a few silver strands hovered next to his piercing blue eyes.

He gazed around the room before he focused on you. There was regret in his eyes as he spoke. Seconds later, you found out why.

“Gear up!” He announced. “An ensign was found just inside the Washington D.C. border underneath a tree.”

Torres put down the dish that he was wiping, “That’s not all, is it?”

“He was a person of interest in a SVU case for the team that operate out of Manhattan.” Gibbs revealed.

Tony blew out an annoyed breath, “And he crossed state lines. Why do they always run?”

Ellie was thinking along the same lines that Tony did, “Since he crossed state lines; that means we need to coordinate with that SVU squad.”

“Regrettably yes.” Tony grimaced.

Ellie held up her hands, “I feel like I’m missing something here,” she confessed. “Why are you acting like collaborating with the SVU squad is a bad thing?”

“It makes things more complicated.” You revealed to her. “Sometimes egos get in the way and it wouldn’t be the first time that we work with a team of cops and one of them has their own agenda.”

“I hope it’s different this time. I mean, we want the same thing that the SVU squad want. Why shouldn’t we be able to work together?”

Ellie’s optimism helped to lighten the atmosphere in the room and you wished with all your heart that she was right. It would be nice to have an open and shut case.

Meanwhile, in Manhattan, Rafael Barba scowled darkly at the phone clenched in his fist. He resisted the impulse to throw the device across the room and break it. His glare remained on his face as his mind ran through possible outcomes and the obstacles they could cause.

“That drug should have incapacitated that traitorous ensign long before he could reach the car! Why didn’t it? Now the descará has drawn attention by crossing state lines and he’ll ruin everything!”

Rafael Barba breathed out raggedly. In his mind, he heard his mother chiding him, “No seas pesa’o, mijo.”

Focusing on his breathing, Rafael felt his heart rate steady, which was a good thing when he considered the fact that he was still in his office. It would not be a good thing if one of the SVU team were to barge into his office as they usually did when they needed something and they saw him looking any less composed than he should be.

He shook his head amused, “Right as always, Mamí. All I need to do is shift the focus of the NCIS team when they arrive. They’re not looking for the murderer of a naval officer, they’re focusing on his victim. Olivia and her squad should keep them fairly busy if I play that angle.”

Now, let’s shine some light on the nations that have been shoved into the corner. For this, I’ve picked four nations, since there are many that I’ve written but have yet to play with.

Luxemburg: Eliot would work like an angler fish as a yandere. He would draw his darling in with sweet looks and hunched posture. As they grow closer to him, he’ll slowly switch the dynamic becoming the dominant force of the relationship. Now cooing at you and providing for you with his nice, but cheap luxuries.

His punishments would be inspired by various video games. Things like letting his darling wake up in a haunted house full of puzzles and traps that can cause harm if failed but if succeeded can give tools that lead them right back to him.

In his case, his rival would be his brother, the Netherlands. These two would leave their darling in mental shambles. Eliot plucked the heartstrings to play the song Unhealthy Obsession, while Baas would use his information to blackmail. Each of these stressors would force them closer to their breaking point. Due to his appeal, Eliot would have them crawling to him and pouring out their soul to him.

At the revelation of his brother’s crime, Eliot would decide it was time to flip the script. Taking her into his home, hiding her away with a simple promise of safety in his care. He fully attends to do so by every means possible, even if it means fracturing his family.

Lithuania: As much as Kaz is all bark with no bite, he can be a pretty wild yandere to have. His self-absorbed nature means that he believes that they love him too. No matter how much they cry against him or attempt to shatter the fantasy, nothing works. It’s as if it’s a mirror encased in tempered glass.

Kaz would prepare by creating an intricate room with many locks and cravings to keep his dalin’ at first. It would carry the motif of a Lithuanian cottage with green accents. Each little craving is along the ceiling and walls; hours will be spent attempting to figure out the story and yet never catching all the details due to the complexity.

Going up against his more stoic brother, Poland, would leave Kaz foaming at the mouth. Both men are stubborn; creating a never-ending cycle of kidnapping and harm to each other. With Poland's more direct approach, Kaz will have an easier time deceiving his darling that he is easier to escape. Speeding up the taming processes through repeated failures.

It is important to note, that during all the back and forth. It doesn't matter how many times he is beaten down, killed, or dismembered Kaz will always return to claim his darlin’.

Cyprus: Georgios’ darlin will have to get used to taunting. He will often antagonize to see which emotions will rise to the surface. All these different emotions make him feel closer to them. In return, he unveils other emotions building an unstable trust that is always moments away from shattering.

His darlin would live in near isolation on a Mediterranean beach. During periods when Georgios would be home, they would be allowed outside and can even enter the sparkling waters. Of course, he would be right there, an arm’s length away, waiting for you to slip up.

If I’m honest, everyone could be his rival due to his level of distrust. For this post, I’m gonna make it Canada due to the chaos he caused and got chucked for.

To compete with Matt, Georgios is going to do all he can to sabotage it. Every repair is broken, the camera is thrown out windows, and he speaks smack about Matt to his darlin. Which confuses his darlin at first because this random guy approaches them and warns them about the other stalker. As time goes on and as he helps them, trust builds.

All the while he avoids Matt and makes it more difficult for the Canadian to worm his way in. Taunts abound before Georgios is finally beat down by Matt. With his darlin taken, Georgios pulls out the big guns.

To put it simply, when Matt’s enemies come a knockin’, darlin’s go a missin.

Czech Republic: As a yandere, Matylda will expect her darling to fall in line like her many followers. Hanging on to her word like it was from God, himself. Though, unlike the rest, she will listen intently to the words from their mouth. Noting each thing within her mind. If the relationship were to be summarized in simpler words, she is Aphrodite, and they are Adonis.

Her vast garden is the source of some punishment for her poor darling. When upset, they are forced to run through it like a lab rat searching for safety from a robotic cat. Yet, they never find an exit instead are cornered by the metallic claws.

The rival would be Hungary aka Margita. As yandere competitors, both women would attempt to woo with influence and promise of an easy ride through life. They differ in that Matylda is able to use a large pool to gather information before taking her Adonis. While Margita will attempt to use her seduction to draw you closer.

Matylda will send her men out to give a single warning to Margita. Stop or face her wrath. When the Hungarian woman blows off her threat the warm embers of competition blaze into a passionate inferno.

Her men would be divided into four groups. The first would continue to gather intel on her darling. The second is preparing the home for their capture. Group three is gathering information on Margita and her preparations during which the fourth team is figuring out how to crush the Hungarian’s advances.

Once the teams come together a horribly, unstoppable plan is formed. One that involves kidnapping, a lawsuit, and a metal coffin.

❤️ - 2p!Netherlands is a delusional and protective yandere. He showers his darling in affection and would never raise a hand to hurt them. He’s very suffocating and overbearing, believing that he and he alone knows you inside out and will be the only one to love you.

❤️ - 2p!Norway is over the moon. His ego simply explodes with joy and lust and blood lust towards his original counterpart who dared even question. He’s slightly less cruel than regular Norway but no less ruthless with competition.

❤️ - On a level it’s only a short amount of time until he manages to either mortally wound or even kill Arthur. In all the screaming and shouting from both you and his poor, love sick counterpart he remains calm. Only driving home how sure he is that he’ll win in the end.

Hmmm I am thinking about the type of yanderes that really enjoys breaking and molding their darling to be perfect and obsessed with them. Like afterward, everything is pristine and perfect but what if they catch their darling staring longingly at the sky outside the windows every once awhile? The darling is playing the script and everything is great, but sometime they can sense the hesitancy before a kiss or some sort of falter before a smile. Idk I really like the idea of a darling that actually never completely breaks no matter how hard they try, a tiny shadow of a person that always reminds the yandere that the illusion is never real.

𝒴𝒜𝒩𝒟𝐸𝑅𝐸 𝐻𝐸𝒯𝒜𝐿𝐼𝒜 𝒜𝒩𝒟 𝒫𝒪𝑅𝒯𝒰𝒢𝒜𝐿 𝒳 𝐹𝒜𝒦𝐸 𝐵𝑅𝒪𝒦𝐸𝒩 𝑅𝐸𝒜𝒟𝐸𝑅

• i wasn't going to write anything today, but hats off to you anon because i couldn't go do anything without thinking of how i'd reply to this ask, so here we are. gosh there's alot to unpack here, but for starters, i'd like to go over the characters that would most want to break their darling. the most obvious in my writing is england, if his darling doesn't already fit his idea of a proper gentleperson, then you best bet he's going to put in the effort to turn them into one, germany, austria and hungary are also the same in this way. there are also yandere's who don't necessarily want to break their darling, but are likely too anyway. netherlands is a big one, i haven't written anything for him yet, but the one headcanon i have for him is that unless his darling is as rigid as he is, they're going to have a hard time. vietnam, russia and spain can also fall into this category. there is a middle ground, and this is where the yandere is the ask would fit into, even if they want to break their darling, they just don't have the heart or strength to do so, surprisingly, belarus won't want to make the same mistakes with her darling as she did with her brother, even if they misbehave, she doesn't want them to be terrified of her like russia is. but she's more likely to be able to follow through then romano, japan and iceland. another possible yandere the darling in the scenario could be with is india, he's still a character i'm learning about, but from what i know of his personality, he seems like a heavily manipulative yandere, i've been trying to figure out how to explain this for a while now, but macau, china and ukraine instead of ruining their darlings life, like certain people higher up on this list *cough* iggy *cough* ostrich *cough* would manipulate their darling have a sense of care or duty towards them. honestly this list is just a mess, but another possibility is the darling ending up with a yandere that uses fear as a way to 'break them', australia, will have his darling visit his home once, then boom, there's spiders everyone, it's too hot to travel, and before they know it, they're trapped and stuck obeying him if they don't want to become crocodile food. south korea, switzerland and denmark would also use this approach. finally, there are a few yandere that i cannot see ever wanting to or ever breaking their darling, france, would easily tell if his darling wasn't happy with him, pretending or not, and it wouldn't be something he could deal with greece, lithuania and sweden would also hate to see their darling only pretending to like them.

• now i was debating who to do some headcanons on, but i think by far the best yandere for this situation is portugal.

PORTUGAL

• okay so joão wouldn't be the most patient of yandere's, he'd also be quite insecure, which is why the dynamic of him and a darling that's only pretending to love him interests me. his insecurities stem from being compared and mistaken for spain, he's similar to romano but cuter jkjk but honestly can be worse when he's left to his own thoughts.

• joão notices how his dear darling doesn't even look him in the eye properly, every bit of affection he's trained them to show him is painfully obviously rehearsed, the only time he's seen them genuinely smile was when he caught them staring out the window, it hurts. it hurts because deep down he's starting to realise it's his fault.

• he would have started off as a delusional yandere, fully believing they love him or at least have interest in him. his delusions would run deep, and whenever they were broken, he would become violent, he's not as calm as spain is when it comes to words, another thing joão is insecure about. after his outbursts, it will never be him that apologises and comforts his darling, but his darling that has to comfort him, say they aren't mad, that they love him, eventually it'll become the only way to calm him down.

• i can imagine after a particularly bad argument, joão's darling will realise that going on like they are won't do them any good. maybe they revert to their rehearsed state as a way to get him to let his guard down, or maybe they genuinely give up.

• either way, portugal is elated at first, and he can stay like that for months, even years, but it won't be pretty once he realises. some yandere's might soften up, attempt to become less selfish and make their darling at least a little bit happy, bit it'd take a while for portugal to get there, he'd be angry rather, why can't they just love and be happy with him?, why are they making their life so unnecessarily miserable?, the only other yandere i can think of that would have this reaction is england. although i can imagine quite a few of them snapping at their darling like this after they try to pamper them into truely loving them, only to still be met with fake smiles and affection.
