Chapter 6 | Masterlist
A/N: We're in Busan!!! I like to call this "mock date #2" though it's not official... Anyway, the second part of the day will be in the next chapter which I'm super excited about! Enjoy!
Tumblr media
“How would you feel about taking a little trip over to Busan for the day,” Jeong-Gyu asked as he came down the stairs.
Y/s/n and I were currently watching whatever was on the TV as Taehyung was making himself some breakfast. He plopped himself on the chair across from me and started to munch on his cereal as Jeong-Gyu sat down on the side of the couch that was adjacent to Taehyung.
“I would say yes, but let us wake up first,” I said and pointed over to Y/s/n, who was trying her hardest to not doze off on the couch.
“She can sleep on the way,” he excitedly said as he practically jumped to his feet.
“Come on! Get your stuff and let’s go!”
“Hey! Let me finish my food first,” Taehyung glared at his brother before going back to eating, but this time with an upset pout.
~
“We’ll meet back here… let’s say… 7,” Jeong-Gyu said.
We were standing outside of a convenience store, looking at a map of the city. Luckily, there were a lot of shops that were within walking distance from where we were at, the only problem was that Y/s/n wanted to do different things.
So here we are, Jeong-Gyu accompanying Y/s/n and Taehyung with me. I wasn’t upset that we were splitting up, but I could definitely tell that Jeong-Gyu liked this little arrangement.
“Okay, sounds like a plan,” I said, folding up the map and handing it over to Y/s/n.
“Be careful, okay? We’ll see you later,” I said, nudging her with my arm.
She smiled and nodded, “Okay. Stay safe and remember, if we see each other, we don’t know each other.”
I laughed and gave her a salute. “You got it!”
We curtly nodded before we turned to go our own way and started walking.
“You’re close with your sister,” Taehyung quiered as we were walking aimlessly for now, just looking around at what Busan had to offer.
I smiled, “Of course! We get along really well and though we might bicker sometimes, it’s never a big argument so we can bounce back to how we were before. What about you and your siblings?”
He lightly sighed, “Yeah, we were extremely close when we were younger, but then I moved out to be a trainee and was gone for a long time so we grew apart a little bit. And then Jeong-Gyu went to study abroad and my sister was off doing her own thing so even though we aren’t as close as before, I like to believe that we're still close.”
I nodded and continued to look around as a comfortable silence settled around us. There were some cute shops that lined the street that we were walking along.
It felt peaceful.
“What do you think so far,” Taehyung piped up.
I gently smiled at him, “It’s lovely!”
“Are you hungry?”
I thought for a second, “A little, why?”
“Well… I saw a cafe that I know while we were looking at the map, if you want to check it out?”
I nodded, “I would love to.”
~
“You’re not planning to kill me, are you? Because this would be the perfect place to do so,” I warily said while looking at the shady alleyway that we were walking through.
Taehyung laughed, “No, I’m not planning to kill you.”
“That’s what they always say!”
“Calm down, Y/n! The cafe’s over there,” he pointed to a building a yards away.
“Oh…” I drawed before I nervously laughed and started for the building.
As we were walking through the parking lot to the front door I looked at Taehyung, “So, how do you know about this place?”
We got to the door and he opened it for us, gesturing for me to go first making me smile.
“Jimin’s dad recently opened it up, but I love coming by whenever I can.”
I nodded and looked around the shop, taking in the peaceful atmosphere and the coffee smell in the air. Everything looked classy, but still felt cozy.
Then my eyes landed on the table a few feet in front of us that had a purple tablecloth with BTS pictures and merch laying around it. I walked toward it and looked around the table.
There were pictures of all the members and there were some solo ones that were scattered around, along with letters that ARMY’s have left.
I grab a couple and see that some were addressed to the band as a whole and some that were addressed to a specific member.
I didn’t read anything in the letter, so instead I looked over at Taehyung with a grin.
“Do you guys ever read these,” I asked, gently setting down the letters as he came to stand by me.
He grabbed some of the letters and smiled, “I know I do, but… Jimin, what about you?”
I looked up and finally saw someone poking out from behind one of the pillars.
He stepped out from behind it and walked towards us until he was standing across the table from us.
“How did you know it was me,” Jimin asked as he took off his sunglasses.
“Your vibes,” he deadpanned, making me snicker. “No dude, you’re wearing your Hawaii hat and sunglasses. It’s not hard to figure out that it’s you.”
Jimin sighed, “So they were just being nice.”
Taehyung sympathetically nodded with a sad pout, “Yeah.”
I softly chuckled before he shook the thought out of his head, “Anyway, back to your question, yeah I read them. Some are funny, but they’re overall very sweet! I read them whenever I get time to visit.”
I smiled at the answer. I could tell that he was genuine about it.
“Anyway, Tae…” he looked at Taehyung before turning over to me, “Who’s this?”
“This is Y/n, she’s Jeong-Gyu’s friend,” he said, looking over to me.
Jimin’s eyes widened slightly, “Jeong-Gyu’s home? I thought he was studying abroad?”
“I’ll tell you the story, but first… we should order something.”
“Oh yeah! I still owe for last time, so tell me what you’d like and I’ll order it if you want to sit and talk for a bit,” I said, looking at Taehyung.
They both looked at each other and nodded, so we made our way to counter. I looked up at the menu, trying to decide what I wanted.
Once I decided, I looked over at Taehyung, “Do you know what you want?”
He hummed, “I don’t know… Something without coffee, how about you surprise me?”
He smiled and I nodded before turning my gaze over to Jimin. “Do you want something too?”
He kindly shook his head, “Nah, I already had my drink before you guys got here.”
I nodded once more, “Okay, you guys can go take a seat and I’ll meet you when our orders are ready.”
They nodded and started to walk away, but Taehyung quickly turned back to me and dug around in his pocket.
He took out his wallet and offered me some cash, “Here! For the drinks.”
I shook my head, “No, this one’s on me this time, remember?”
“Here you go anyway,” he said, softly taking my wrist and placing the money in my hand before darting away so I couldn’t give it back to him.
I sighed, shaking my head and then placing the orders.

Chapter 5 | Masterlist
A/N: Hi! I think we're 1/3 or almost half of the way done with this series! Thank you for sticking around to see how this story unfolds and as always, I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
“I don’t know what you’re talking about! These are great pictures,” Taehyung smiled.
“Absolutely not! I wasn’t even looking in this one,” I fought back as I looked through the pictures he had taken of me at the gardens and art gallery while we were in line, waiting for our turn to get on the carousel.
“You get the best pictures when you’re not looking. Just living in the moment,” he explained happily.
“Okay,” I said as I swiped through more pictures and wound up on a string of blurry ones.
“And what about these? Why are they blurry,” I asked, looking over at him.
He chuckled while looking over my shoulder, down at my phone.
“I was running away because you were chasing me when you remembered that I still had your phone after the art gallery.”
I playfully huffed as I kept swiping before landing on a blurry selfie of Taehyung looking down at the phone with a big smile.
We laughed at the silly image.
“Ooh! Go to the next one,” he said, placing his hand on my shoulder and pointing at the phone.
Doing as he said, I swiped to the next picture just to find yet another blurry image.
This time it’s a high selfie that showed me running after Taehyung with my arm extended, trying to catch him while we were laughing.
“You’re kidding me,” I laughed and continued to look through the picture before the carousel worker started to usher people onto the ride.
Putting my phone away, we walked through the gate and onto the ride.
It looked beautiful. The lights at night gave it such a calming ambience, making everything on the carousel look like something out of a fantasy. I looked around the ride to see which seat I wanted to sit on.
Walking around, there were horses, bunnies, swans, carriage carts for two people.
You know.
The works.
But then my eyes fell upon a beautiful white horse with bows in its mane and intricate designs decorating the saddle.
I got excited at the sight of it and hurriedly started pushing Taehyung in that direction so no one else could get it.
“Come on! Come on! Hurry,” I rushed, making him chuckle and look back at me over his shoulder.
We finally got to the horse- no thanks to Taehyung- and I happily giggled as I threw my leg over to get on.
The carousel whirled to life and slowly started to turn, prompting me to take out my phone and open the camera. I looked back at Taehyung and hurriedly patted the animal seat next to me.
“Hurry! I wanna take a picture!”
“Okay, okay!”
I held up the phone as he settled on the seat.
Once he was ready and looking at the camera, I joyfully held up a peace sign as he held a cool pose with a peace sign over his right eye. I quickly snapped the picture and went to look at it when I realized something.
“You’re riding a tiger,” I exclaimed as I whipped my head to look at him and the tiger he was sitting on.
He smiled and gently pet the top of its head before looking back at me.
“It suits me, doesn’t it,” he asked before he held up his hand and did a small “rawr” with the accompanying hand movement.
“Absolutely,” I said before we dissolved into a fit of laughter.
As we calmed down, I looked out at the crowd and smiled. I started happily waving at whoever I saw as the ride spun around.
“What are you doing,” Taehyung chuckled.
I looked over at him, but didn’t stop waving, “Waving! Isn’t that what we’re supposed to do while riding a carousel?”
He shrugged and started to wave at the passersby with me.
After a few moments of looking at the people surrounding the ride, I spotted Y/s/n and Jeong-Gyu standing at the barrier.
“Guys,” I exclaimed as I happily waved at them, making them wave back.
Soon enough, the carousel started to slow down and stopped, letting us know that it was time to get off. I hopped off the horse, patting its head while I waited for Taehyung to get off of the tiger before stepping off the ride and walked out of the gate.
“So… how was it,” Taehyung asked as we walked over to where our siblings were.
“It was amazing! I haven't been on one since I was little. I’ve missed it,” I happily smiled at Taehyung, to which he reciprocated the smile.
We finally met up with the other two and started walking toward an open part of the park where we would get to see the fireworks better.
“How was the rest of your day, you guys,” Jeong-Gyu asked us.
We looked at each other, then back at Jeong-Gyu. “It was great,” we both answered at the same time.
I quietly chuckled as we stopped under a few trees, “It was wonderful! How was your day? How were the rides?”
“They were great! Jeong-Gyu looked like he was going to throw up when we went on the spinning ride,” Y/s/n answered, laughing at the way Jeong-Gyu rolled his eyes.
“I thought I was going to die,” he exclaimed and they both started lightheartedly bickering.
We were laughing at the sight as a breeze shook the leaves on the trees, making my shiver slightly. I took my phone out from my back pocket and checked the time.
“8 o’clock. They should be starting soon,” I muttered under my breath, turning off my phone and tucking it into my back pocket once more.
Another breeze raked through the trees prompting me to rub my arms to try to warm me up.
Just then, a whistle sound could be heard in the distance making all of us look at the sky right before a colorful explosion erupted in the sky.
‘Ooh’s and ‘aah’s could be heard in the crowd, everything a pretty firework lit up the sky.
As I continued to watch them, I almost forgot that I was cold, but soon I felt something drape over my shoulders effectively stopping the wind.
I looked down at the jacket then over to Taehyung, who just slid his hands into his back pockets and continued to watch the fireworks.
I smiled at his sweet gesture before going back to watching the fireworks and slightly pulling the jacket closer every time a breeze ran through.
“Oh guys! Let’s take a picture,” Y/s/n said and pulled out her phone so we could take a group selfie.
We all smiled at the camera when she counted down and took a picture as another firework lit up the night.

Chapter 4 | Masterlist
A/N: What up! This is the first half of the "date" with Tae and the second half will be next! Enjoy!
Tumblr media
“Shouldn’t we tell the others where we’re going so they don’t worry,” I asked as we were walking around, looking at the stalls that lined the edges on the path.
“I suppose we should,” he dramatically sighed as if this was something tedious.
I playfully rolled my eyes as he took out his phone and texted Jeong-Gyu.
“Alright, I texted him that we’ll be walking around so they can do their thing and we’ll pick a place to meet up later for the fireworks,” he said, turning off his phone and sliding it back into his pocket.
I nodded in acknowledgement as a question popped into my head.
“What time are the fireworks?”
“Hmm? Oh! They start around 8, I think.”
“What are we gonna do for 4 hours,” I questioned.
“Our date,” he said, like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
“And our first stop is…” He gently took my wrist in his hand and tugged me over to a food truck.
As I looked up at the sign on the side of the truck and read, “Funnel cakes?”
He happily nodded, “Mhmm!”
He slowly became wary as he looked at my expression, “Unless… You don’t like them, then we can get something else!”
I was quick to shake my head in protest, “No, I love them! I just didn’t expect that this would be the first place we would go.”
His smile returned, “Great!”
We both turned to look at the side of the truck that had what you could get.
“What do you want because I was thinking that I’m gonna get-”
“One with strawberries,” we both said at the same time.
We looked at each other in surprise, then smiled.
“Well then! That settles that,” he laughed as he started to take out his wallet from his back pocket.
“I’ll get us one with the strawberries if you want to grab a table while we wait,” he said, pointing over to the group of tables a few feet away.
I nodded and started to reach for my wallet in my bag before I went to sit down.
“Do you want to split the cost for the funnel cake,” I asked and opened my wallet to pull out some cash, but Taehyung was quick to shake his head ‘no’. I raised my eyebrows in question, “Are you sure because-”
“Y/n! It’s fine! We’re on a date so… I’ll buy it,” he insisted.
We entered a little staring contest as I narrowed my eyes at him before sighing and shaking my head.
“Fine… BUT! I’m paying next time,” I exclaimed.
“We’ll see about that,” he smirked in defiance.
“Yes we will,” I challenged back and walked over to a table under the shade before sitting down.
There was a slight breeze that gently rattled the leaves of the tree I was under. It was one of those spring days where it wasn’t cold enough to need a jacket, but not hot enough to make me regret going out.
It was the perfect day to go out with your friends or on a date and…
Speaking of a date, I looked over to where Taehyung was waiting for the order and I couldn’t help but notice how nice he looked. Though everything he was wearing was very casual, something about him made it seem like he had just walked off a runway.
I looked down at what I was wearing and slightly chuckled at how plain my clothes were in comparison. I didn’t get a chance to really think about it before Taehyung set down the funnel cake and sat down while handing me a fork.
“There we go! The perfect pastry to start off this mock date,” he said as he smiled.
I used my fork to get one of the strawberries that were sitting on top of the funnel cake.
“I would feel severely under dressed if this were an actual date,” I said before eating the strawberry.
He dramatically scoffed, “What are you talking about?! You look great!”
I deadpanned at him before I looked down at my clothes and back to him, “Really, because there’s nothing really fancy about a t-shirt and shorts.”
I pulled a bit of the funnel cake apart and took a bite. “Unlike you, Mr. Model.”
He scoffed although a smile still played on his lips, “Come on! I just threw on whatever I could find.”
I playfully rolled my eyes at the statement.
“Mhmm. Yep. And that’s why you’re the best dressed here because you just threw something on,” I teased and took another strawberry.
“Well… I might’ve put some thought into it,” he said, looking to the side with a not-so guilty smile.
I laughed, “I knew it! That fancy jacket could never fool me!”
He laughed with me before we calmed down.
“Okay, let’s change the subject,” Taehyung said, ripping a piece of funnel cake.
“Agreed,” I said, mirroring his action and munched on the piece.
“So,” he spoke up once he was done, “How did you meet?”
My eyebrows arched in surprise at the question as I was still eating a piece of the funnel cake. He placed his arms on the table and rested his head on his hands as he looked at me expectedly.
I swallowed before asking, “Me and Jeong-Gyu?”
He nodded, “Yeah, what’s the story behind you two?”
I thought for a second as he continued eating, “Hmm… Well, we met in our first year in an art class. We were a few weeks into the semester when we were supposed to do a painting assignment and I chose to do watercolor. While I was working, here comes this clumsy guy with a long roll of canvas fabric and accidentally knocks over my cup of water onto the painting.”
“No!”
I nodded, “Yeah! So I looked over to see who knocked the cup and I must’ve looked really angry because Jeong-Gyu started to visibly panic and quickly set down what he was holding to rush to get paper towels to help with the spill. He started to apologize profusely when he came back and I just sighed, telling him that it was fine and that he should go work on his project.”
I smiled at the memory.
Taehyung chuckled.
“That was smooth,” he sarcastically said.
“I know right! It wasn’t that big of a deal looking back at it now, but I was pretty frustrated with him. I thought that he was one of those guys who wouldn’t talk to me after apologizing so I didn’t think I would see him anymore after that event, but as luck would have it, as I was leaving the class he came up to me to apologize again and offered to buy me lunch to make up for it and the rest is history.”
Taehyung leaned back with his arms crossed, “Wow. That’s quite the story.”
I nodded, eating that last few pieces of the funnel cake before dusting off my hands.
“So, how did he meet Y/s/n,” he queried.
I hummed, “It was during Thanksgiving break. I invited him over since our break was kind of short that year and he wasn’t able to go home so that's when they met. She was playing video games while waiting for the food and they instantly clicked,” I nodded at the end of the story.
We talked for a little while more. He threw out more questions to learn more about me like what my major was, what my interests were, how I learned to speak Korean, things like that. He knew how to keep the mood light as we laughed over some stories.
Soon, he slapped his hands on the table and stood up, “Alright! I think it’s time to continue this date, so…”
He grabbed the empty plate and walked over to throw it away before coming back to me and extending his free hand out to me to grab. I gently placed my hand in his, standing up before he started leading me away.
"Let's get going!"

Chapter 3 | Masterlist
A/N: Hi! I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
“I’m getting tired…”
“Dude, we’ve only been on three rides,” Y/s/n deadpanned.
“You know how I get,” I whined and slumped forward, dramatically dragging my feet as we walked to the next ride. Taehyung and Jeong-Gyu were walking in front of us, talking about something.
Walking around E-World, there was a lot to see from art galleries to gardens to rides. Sadly, the others were preoccupied with riding the rides first saying that “there are going to be long lines later, so riding them takes priority now”.
Though I can’t argue with that logic, I’ve never been the type of person who lasts more than a few rides before getting tired.
Which is why I was trudging along to the next one right now.
“It looks like there isn’t much of a line. Let’s go before it gets longer,” Y/s/n said, grabbing my wrist to tug me along.
“Can I just sit this one out for now,” I asked, pulling my hand away from her grasp.
My question had garnered the boys’ attention, making Jeong-Gyu look at me in confusion.
“What happened?”
“I’m starting to get a headache so I want to sit this one out for now.”
They all looked at me.
“You guys can go on without me! I’ll just wait here or find a table closeby,” I panicked.
“We can’t just leave you alone,” Jeong-Gyu said.
I put my hands on my hips and looked at him.
“I can handle myself. You’ll only be gone for a bit.”
“I still need to make sure that you're okay on this trip-”
“I can stay with Y/n,” Taehyung said out of the blue. We turned to him in surprise as he shrugged.
“What,” Jeong-Gyu asked.
“I can stay with Y/n if you’re worried something might happen and plus, I’m starting to need a break too,” he said with a slight chuckle. I smiled at him as Jeong-Gyu looked between us.
“Are you sure?” Taehyung looked at him and nodded.
“Okay…”
I turned to Y/s/n, “Are you good if it’s just you and Jeong-Gyu riding for a bit?”
She nodded, “Yeah, it’s cool with me.”
“Alright, then me and Taehyung will be right here,” I said and they both nodded and started walking to the ride entrance.
Before they got too far, I called Jeong-Gyu’s name, getting his attention.
“If anything happens to her,” I said and then held my thumb at my throat and dragged it across in a silent threat. He gave me a thumbs up, then turned around and ran to catch up with Y/s/n.
I watched them go into the entrance when Taehyung spoke up. “How long have you liked him?”
I sighed as I watched the cart of the rollercoaster get to top and swiftly descend in a rush, making the people on it scream in excitement.
“It’s that obvious, huh?”
“I don’t have big eyes for nothing,” he hummed.
Knowing that I wouldn’t get out of this conversation very easily, I decided to be honest. “For a while now…”
He leaned forward to look at me and furrowed his eyebrows, “And you haven’t told him?”
I sighed as another cart descended from the top of the track, “It was never the right time, I guess.”
“Why?”
Luckily, we had stopped by a fence so I leaned back and finally looked at him.
“Because he was always in a relationship.”
His eyebrows shot up in surprise, “I didn’t know he was a player.”
I chuckled, “He’s not. He just falls in love easily… Which means that break-ups are hard, leaving me to pick up the pieces.”
“And he never developed feelings for you,” he questioned.
I smiled sadly at him because he seemed genuinely confused about the situation, but shook my head.
“And now… he has feelings for Y/s/n.”
I nodded. “I think that I’ll only ever be a best friend in his eyes. Which I’m fine with because the more I watched his relationships, the more the idea of dating became unappealing to me.”
I looked toward the ride again and huffed out a breath.
“But… my feelings for him never went away so…” I drawed out.
“So… you never went on another date,” he asked, finishing my statement.
“I’ve never dated,” I said, matter-of-factly.
“What?! You’ve never dated?” He was surprised, but I just shrugged it off as him being nice and nodded.
“Like, ever?”
I shook my head.
“Yeah, believe it or not. I’m more of the person people ask when they want to know if my friends are single or not. That sounds a lot sadder than I planned,” I grimaced.
The conversation died down and we stood in silence, looking at the people walking by before he spoke up.
“How about I take you on a date,” he asked, making me whip my head around to look at him.
“What? A date?”
“Like a mock date.”
“A mock date,” I asked, furrowing my brows.
“Are gonna repeat everything I say?”
“Am I going to repeat everything you say,” I said slowly, a slight smirk appearing on my face, “Do you want me to?”
We stood there, looking at each other for a moment before we broke and started laughing.
“So…” he started and I raised my eyebrows in question, “A mock date?”
I thought for a moment before nodding, “I’d love to.”
He reached out his hand for me to grab and tugged me along, “Then let’s go!”

Adventure of a Lifetime
Kim Taehyung x reader
Chapter 2 | Masterlist
A/N: Yo! Here's the second chapter to my Tae series! I don't really have a tentative updating schedule for this, so I'll post whenever I'm done with each chapter. I can say that I'm really feeling this story so updates will be kind of frequent. Anyway... Enjoy!
Tumblr media
I looked away from Jeong-Gyu and over to his parents who were excitedly standing in the doorway.
I smiled, “It’s really nice to finally meet you in person, Mr. and Mrs. Kim!”
She waved me off with a smile, “You don’t have to be so formal! Call us mom and dad, if you want. We are so happy you guys are here!”
They stepped to the side and ushered us inside, “Please come inside!”
We all grabbed our bags and shuffled into the house.
Walking passed the entrance hall and into the living room, I was amazed at how big their house actually was. It was one of those cases of looking small on the outside, but having a ton of space inside and this house was a prime example of it.
Looking around the living room, there were two couches that sat on either side of a coffee table, facing a tv that sat on top of a stone fireplace. There were various plants around the room that gave it some life. Everything was organized and spaced out, it almost reminded me of the apartment.
It was nice.
“We were in the middle of making some food for you guys because you thought you might be hungry when you got here.”
As soon as Mrs. Kim said that, my stomach growled, making me instinctively put a hand on my stomach.
“I guess we were right,” Mr. Kim laughed and shyly smiled.
“Do you need any help,” I asked as they started walking towards the kitchen.
Since it was an open layout, you could see the entire kitchen from where we were standing in the living room.
“If we want to, we would love some help! You can leave your stuff there for now or,” she pointed to Jeong-gyu and then at the stairs to the left of the kitchen, “he can show you where the guest room is.”
We nodded and started gathering our bag before we heard someone coming down the stairs.
“Are those visitors I hear,” a voice questioned.
Looking away from my bags and at the stairs, I see a boy wearing a gray hoodie with the hood over his fluffy brown hair.
He took off his hood as his gaze fell on Jeong-Gyu before smiling wide and hurrying to hug him.
“Dude, why didn’t you tell me you were back,” he questioned as he pulled back from the hug.
“I didn’t think you cared,” Jeong-Gyu sighed, acting sad. The boy rolled his eyes, his smile never leaving, as he lightly punched Jeong-Gyu’s shoulder.
“I always care and I would’ve come to visit if I weren’t here already.”
It was just then that he seemed to notice our presence behind Jeong-Gyu and looked over his shoulder.
Looking between us and then over to Jeong-Gyu, he asked, “Who are they?”
He looked at Y/s/n before turning his attention toward me. When we made eye contact, we kind of… just stared at each other.
I couldn’t deny that he was attractive and the shy smile that made its way onto his lips made him all the more cuter. A small smile was making its way onto my lips before I felt hands on my shoulders unexpectedly, making me flinch in surprise.
I looked over my shoulder to Jeong-Gyu and glared at him for scaring me.
“This here is Y/n! My best friend and roommate! And this…”
He shuffled over to the side and placed his hands on Y/s/n’s shoulders, “Is Y/s/n! My other best friend and Y/n’s sister!”
I politely bowed my head in greeting while Y/s/n waved.
“Taehyung! Come help me and your mom for a second,” Mr. Kim called.
We all looked over to them as he nodded.
“We gotta set our bags in our rooms, we’ll be back,” Jeong-Gyu told Taehyung as he walked over to their parents.
“Alright, follow me.”
We grabbed our bags and followed Jeong-Gyu up the stairs that were next to the kitchen. Reaching the top of the stairs, he rounded the corner to the left and walked into the first room on the right. He placed his bags near the bed before coming to stand in the doorway.
“This is my room and,” he pointed all the way down the hall to the open door, “that’s the guest bedroom, where you two will be staying so you can put your stuff in there.”
We nodded and started walking to the end of the hall when Y/s/n whispered, “Can we talk about how Jeong-Gyu’s brother is Kim Taehyung?”
We entered the room and she immediately flopped on the bed.
“Don’t bring it up! I’m sure he would hate it if his brother’s friends are crazy fans, so please don’t say anything about him or his band for as long as we’re staying here, okay?”
She sighed, but nodded, “Alright, you won’t hear a peep out of me. Not that I could if I wanted to, I only know the basics of basic Korean, but I promise not to bring it up.”
I happily nodded and started for the door before looking back at her.
“You coming?”
She rolled over on the bed, “I’m pooped. I’ll just stay here for a bit.”
“Okay, I’ll let them know that you’re taking a nap from jet-lag if they ask. I’ll come get you when the food’s ready.”
“Okay, thanks!”
I made my way down to the kitchen and stopped at the island that stood in the middle of the kitchen. I looked at Mrs. Kim, who was washing dishes in the sink on the other side of the island.
“Did you need some help with anything?”
She looked at me and smiled, “Not right now, my dear. Taehyung helped us so you can take a seat and relax if you want.”
“Ok, but let me know if you need help,” I said, pulling out a stool from under the island. She turned away from the sink and moved to the stove behind her.
“I have to say, Y/n, your Korean has gotten better since the last time we spoke,” she spoke over her shoulder.
I shyly chuckled, “Really? I mean, it has been over a year since I last spoke with you whenever Jeong-Gyu called you last, but thank you for the compliment!”
A nice silence settled over us and the only thing you could hear was the clanging of utensils as Mrs. Kim worked around the kitchen.
I crossed my arms on the table and laid my head on them as I silently watched her do her thing for a while before deciding to ask the one thing that’s been on my mind since we got here.
“What are you making?”
She looked back at me and then back at the pots on the stove, “I’m making japchae and kimbap! And… It looks like it’s almost done. Would you mind setting the table, dear?”
I nodded and got up, “No problem!”
She pointed to the cupboards with the plates and the drawers with the utensils. Walking over to both of them, I grabbed everything that we needed and headed over to the dining table that was located in between the living room and kitchen. I placed a plate and some utensils at each spot before dusting off my hands, admiring my work.
“It seems that your sister and Jeong-Gyu haven’t come down yet. Would you mind letting them know that the food is ready,” Mrs. Kim said while turning off the stove. I nodded, though she was busy.
“Okay,” I said and started heading up the stairs.
I got to the top of the stairs when I heard, “Heck yeah!! Woo!”
Rounding the corner into Jeong-Gyu’s room, I see them both sitting at the foot of his bed while my sister pumped her fists in the air in celebration as she tightly holds a controller. I smiled as she cheered and then turned my gaze over to Jeong-Gyu.
He was watching her with a soft expression and a gentle smile on his face.
Oh no… I know that look.
Not wanting to jump to conclusions just yet, I lightly knocked on the door frame alerting them to my presence.
When they looked over I said, “The food is ready, by the way.”
“Okay! I’ll be down in a sec! Let me just finish this level,” Y/s/n said as she went back to concentrating on what was on the TV screen.
While she was distracted, I took this time to motion Jeong-Gyu over to me so we could talk.
I took him into the hall, away from Y/s/n, before whispering, “You like her, don’t you?”
His eyes widened as he nervously coughed.
“What are you talking about? I don’t like Y/s/n,” He whispered back.
I crossed my arms and rolled my eyes, “Don’t bullshit me, Jeong-Gyu. I saw the way you looked at her. I’ve known you long enough to know that it’s the same way you used to look at your past girlfriends.”
He shyly looked away from me for a second before sighing.
“Fine. I do like her. A lot,” he said with a fond smile.
Why do I feel sad hearing that?
I shook off the thought and smirked. “I knew it! Are you going to tell her?”
He lightly shook his head, “Not yet. I want to make sure that what I’m feeling for her is real.”
I nodded in understanding, but ultimately wanted to get out of this conversation for now.
“Okay. Well, food’s ready and I’m hungry so I’m heading down. Make sure to bring Y/s/n when she’s done with the level.”
Just when I finished saying that, she popped out of the room, “Done.”
“Nevermind! Let’s get going before the food gets cold!”
As we were walking down, Mr. and Mrs. Kim were setting out some last minute things like napkins and cups while Taehyung brought some drinks out of the fridge and placed them on the island. The three of us washed up before grabbing our drinks and sitting down at the table.
The atmosphere was nice and lively as we were getting our food. Everyone was laughing and catching up on what everyone’s been doing while I talked with Y/s/n. While we were eating something in the conversation caught my attention.
“How long will you and your friends be staying,” Mr. Kim asked Jeong-Gyu.
I looked over to him and raised my eyebrows in question. He looked at me and then to his parents, “About two - two and a half weeks.”
My eyes widened, “What? What are we going to do during that time?”
He shrugged as Taehyung looked between us, confused.
“You guys came with him and didn’t even get an itinerary?”
I shook my head and glared at Jeong-Gyu, “No, because this man just told us that we were coming here and to pack our bags!”
“We can plan what we want to do now that we’re here,” Jeong-Gyu piped up.
I lightly scoffed.
“Well… How about I take you to an amusement park, here in Daegu, on Tuesday,” Taehyung asked.
Jeong-Gyu looked at me and shrugged. I told Y/s/n what Taehyung had asked as she smiled and nodded.
“I would love to go to an amusement park!”
I didn’t have any reason to say ‘no’ so I looked over to Jeong-Gyu and nodded.
“I don’t see why not.”
“Perfect! It’ll be a great start to our trip! We’re in!”

Adventure of a Lifetime
Kim Taehyung x reader
Chapter 1 | Masterlist
A/N: HI!!!! Welcome to my new Tae series! I'm so excited to start this because it's something that I've been sitting on for a while now, so I'm really happy I got around to writing it and get to share it with you! Also, any dialog in italics is said in English and (Y/s/n) will be your sister's name. I didn't want to name her in case someone has the name I chose, so I'll let you decide the name. Anyway, I hope you come along for the adventure and I hope you enjoy the story!
Tumblr media
“Y/n, pack your bags! We’re going on a trip,” Jeong-Gyu exclaimed as he barged into my room in our shared apartment.
We had met in our first year of college during an art class and the rest is history, we’ve been best friends ever since. I furrowed my brows as I looked at him from my place on my bed.
“What are you talking about? We haven’t planned a trip.”
He smirked.
“On the contrary,” he pulled out three slips of paper from his back pocket, “I seem to have three tickets to Korea that have my, your, and your sister’s name on them.”
He fanned them out and handed one to me.
I took it and read the name on it, Y/n L/n. I
looked at him in disbelief, “Why and when did you do this?”
He flopped down at the foot of my bed and sighed, “Well you and Y/s/n are always talking about wanting to take a trip to Korea and I’m going back to see my family during break starting next week so I thought that I would take you two with me!”
“Dude, how do you know that I’m not busy that week,” I asked, raising my eyebrows in defiance.
“Are you,” he challenged back.
I stared at him for a while before looking away with a pout, “No…”
He clapped his hands, “Aha! I knew it!”
“Listen, it doesn’t matter because I haven’t cleared it with my parents and you don’t know if Y/s/n can go.”
He got up and started for the door, “Done and she can go.”
He walked out and I hurriedly got up and followed him to the kitchen.
“What- when did that happen,” I asked, putting my hands on the kitchen island as he rounded it.
“I called your parents to ask if it was ok to take you two before I bought the tickets. As for Y/s/n, I asked her if she had anything planned for that week and she said “No. I never do” so all of the loose knots have been tightened,” he finished, popping a grape into his mouth.
I looked at him incredulously, “You. Are. Unbelievable.”
He smiled and shrugged, “I know! But make sure you start packing because we leave first thing Saturday morning!”
He happily ran off to his room as I processed what he said.
“Wait- You gave me a two day notice?! Jeong-Gyu!”
~
“This is crazy,” I mumbled as we watched Jeong-Gyu talk with one of the people at the car rental place in the Incheon Airport.
“It’s cool and it’s a free trip! I’m pretty excited,” Y/s/n said, turning to me.
I turned back to her, “You are?”
She nodded.
“Even with the language barrier? You’re not worried?”
She shook her head.
“Nah, I’ve got you,” she gently bumped my shoulder with her own, “And him.”
She pointed over to Jeong-Gyu, who was now filling out paperwork.
“So the way I see it, I’ve got two free translators at the ready whenever I need!”
I lightly pushed her as I playfully rolled my eyes at her.
“That’s why I told you to learn some Korean! I’m gonna let you fend for yourself,” I laughed.
“You’re kidding. You would never do that to me,” she stated.
I looked at her with a smirk, “Watch me.”
She scoffed and pushed my shoulder. I glared at her before we both bursted out laughing. At that time, Jeong-Gyu walked up to us with papers and car keys in hand.
“Y'all ready to head out? It’s about a three hour drive to Daegu,” he stated, looking between the both of us.
We looked at each other before nodding.
“Yep,” we said in unison.
We all grabbed our bags and followed Jeong-Gyu to the lot where we were to pick up our rental.
We got to the lot and searched for the license plate that matched the number on the paper. Once we finally found it, we placed our bags in the trunk and got in. Jeong-Gyu started the car and fiddled with the radio until he found something that we all liked.
“Alright, are you guys ready for the adventure of a lifetime?”
We cheered as he pulled out of the parking lot.
~
“In my opinion, that drive was entirely too short,” I exclaimed as we arrived at his house and got out of the car.
Looking around, it was beautiful. There were trees scattered around the front yard that were in the process of growing out all of their leaves. A few bushes lined the front of the house and the left side of the stone driveway.
Jeong-Gyu scoffed, “What do you mean ‘too short’? That was the longest drive in my life.”
We walked to the back and he opened the trunk.
“We’ve had longer drives than that in the States,” Y/s/n deadpanned and I nodded in agreement.
“That’s true, but I was talking about the scenery. It was so pretty,” I gushed, taking out my bag and placing it on the ground.
Taking out the rest of the bags, he closed the trunk and looked at us, “It was nothing, really.”
Y/s/n and I scoffed.
“That’s because you lived here for the majority of your life. This is the first time we,” I pointed between us, “have seen this in real life.”
“Ugh, imagine it in the fall,” Y/s/n dreamily sighed.
I sighed along with her at the image as Jeong-Gyu rolled his eyes and started for the front door. We quickly got out of our daydream and followed him up the stairs to the porch. As we were standing in front of his parents' house, I was starting to get nervous as he rang the doorbell.
“Are you sure it’s okay for us to stay here? We’ve never met your parents in person and I wouldn’t want to inconvenience them with us staying here,” I said, looking at Jeong-Gyu.
Before I could get an answer, the door opened.
“Nonsense! We’re more than happy to have Jeong-Gyu’s friends here!”

Min Yoongi x reader

Intro --- Main Masterlist
A/N: Hey-ya! Here is the second installment of Blind Date(s)! If you haven't already, please read the intro to this! Overall, I'm not sure how I feel about how this turned out because it's very lowkey, but who knows. *shrug* Anyway! I hope you enjoy!!
“You did not,” I said as I looked at her in disbelief.
She happily nodded, a smile growing on her lips. “Yes, I did and you’re totally going on this date. There is no bailing on a date with a celebrity.”
I sighed and rolled my eyes as I realized there was no way out of this.
“Fine, but would you mind telling me who it’s with, what we’ll be doing, and when it is so I can I mentally prepare myself.”
She curtly nodded, “Can do! The date is with Min Yoongi, I believe we settled on just going to get something to eat - very casual, and it’ll be on the 27th.”
“How did you even get a date with him,” I questioned, leaning on the island.
“There was an auction I had to attend since my dad couldn’t make it. I hadn’t spent anything all night and I knew that my dad would be upset if I didn’t buy anything, especially since the auction was benefiting a charity so… when they announced that they would auction off a date with one of the members of BTS, I immediately thought of you! And you bet your ass that I made sure to win that date,” she exclaimed before settling into a satisfied chuckle.
I rolled my eyes in feigned annoyance, “You didn’t have to do that for me.”
“I wanted to. Plus, I knew you would agree to it eventually!”
I shook my head and scoffed lightly as I got up and went to check the calendar that was stuck to the fridge. I looked for the 27th and once I found it I grabbed a pen from the counter and wrote down the event.
When I was done, I stepped back to look at my handy work before nodding.
“Hey Hari, what day is it again,” I asked.
She hummed as she clicked on her phone, “The 25th.”
The 25th… Wait!
“You gave me a two day notice?!”
I looked back at her and she shrugged.
“Be grateful I gave you a notice and didn’t wait until the last minute.”
“Hari…” I groaned, throwing my head back.
~
Well… this has to be the right place, I thought as I looked up at the giant building that said “HYBE” on the side. I looked back at my phone and went into the message Hari sent me regarding the meeting place. I compared it with the one on the GPS and they were the same so I must be in the right place.
“Are you sure you gave me the right address,” I texted Hari.
I waited a few moments before she replied, “Is it the HYBE building?”
I looked up again even though nothing would’ve changed within two minutes.
“Yeah,” I texted back.
A few more moments passed before she texted back, “Good, you’re in the right place! He said that he should be done in a few minutes, hold tight!”
I sighed, turning off my phone, then looking around for a place to sit while I waited. Luckily, there was a bench under a tree a few feet away, so I walked over to it and took a seat. Deciding to kill some time, I turned on my phone, looking at the time before scrolling for a bit.
After a while I checked the time and saw that five minutes had passed. I looked around to see if everyone was approaching me. When I didn’t see anyone, I looked over to the front doors of the building and watched to see if anyone would come out.
After a few moments… no one did.
Thinking that he must’ve got caught up with something, I decided to wait a bit longer and went back to scrolling through my phone.
Once I started to get bored of scrolling, I looked at the time once more and saw that fifteen minutes had passed this time. I looked around once more and then at the doors to see if he was heading out, but no one was around. I sighed as I called Hari.
“Are you pranking me,” I asked after she picked up.
“Why, what happened?”
“I’ve been waiting outside of the building for twenty minutes and no one has shown up.”
She sighed, “Y/n/n, he must’ve just gotten caught up in something. Why don’t you just go in and ask the front desk?”
I huffed, knowing that asking the front desk would be faster than having Hari text him, but it’s not something I wanted to do.
“Fine.”
“Let me know how it goes, bye,” she said before hanging up.I took a deep breath and trudged my way into the building.
Walking into the lobby of the Hybe I immediately felt out of place. It was polished and pristine.
Not to mention: huge.
The furniture was nicely placed by some of the windows, but before I got too caught up in admiring the lobby, I set out for the front desk.
Luckily, it was straight ahead from the front doors. As I was approaching the desk, I noticed people that were coming in and out needed to scan a card to get through a gate.
Ooh… maybe I’ll just end up waiting out here…
I got to the front desk and softly placed my hands at the edge as the lady looked up to me with a kind smile.
“What can I do for you,” she asked.
I nervously smiled. “Um, so… this might sound very weird, but I’m here for Min Yoongi? We have a… date?”
“Oh, you’re the one that won the date at the auction, right,” she asked.
I nodded, as she continued, “Yeah, he emailed us at the front desk about it just in case he got caught up in something, which I guess he did. I’ll give him a call.”
“Thank you,” I said as she turned and picked up the phone before dialing.
I looked around as she started talking on the phone, then a few moments later she hung up and turned back to me.
“Okay! He said that he got caught up working on a song and that it might take him a little longer, but he said that it was alright for you to go to his studio so…”
She dug around in one of her drawers before pulling out a lanyard with a card at the end. She, then, reached over her desk and grabbed a pen and a sticky note.
“This is a visitor key card. It gives you basic clearance into the building, but not into any special rooms, like Yoongi’s studio, so you'll need him to let you in.”
I nodded.
“His studio is on the 5th floor. Once you get there, you take a hard left and it’ll be the first door on the right,” she said, as she finished writing on the sticky note, placing it on the card and handing it to me.
I looked down at the sticky note to see the directions she had just told me and underneath were the words “Genius Lab” with a smiley face.
I looked back at her and smiled, “Thank you so much!”
She nodded and smiled, “Of course! Have a great day!”
I wished her one as well before heading up to Yoongi’s studio.
~
The elevator dinged, signaling that I was on the fifth floor before the doors opened. Stepping out of the elevator, there was a crossroad so following the directions given to me, I turned left.
Interestingly enough, there was only one door on each side of the hall. So looking to the right, I walked over and stood in front of the door that read “Genius Lab”.
I took out my phone to check the time before turning it off and placing it in my bag. I took a deep breath to calm my nerves and then rang the doorbell.
I waited for a few moments, but nothing happened. Deciding that he might’ve not heard it, I raised my hand to press it again before the door was pushed open revealing Yoongi’s studio.
Walking in, I was kind of surprised with the vibe of his studio. Everything was very dark and the lights were dimmed. You would think it was the perfect place to take a nap, not where someone would produce some of the top songs in the world.
“You can sit on the couch back there. I should be done in a bit.”
Snapping out of my reverie, I placed my bag on the floor by the door and walked over to sit on the couch.
I felt a little out of place here. I knew that I couldn’t just flop on the couch and make myself at home, so I ended up sitting on the edge out of nervousness.
Yoongi had his headphones on and was busy clicking at something on the computer, so I just occupied my time by looking around his studio.
There wasn’t anything too out of the ordinary, just basic studio things. A couple pianos to my left, a drum set by the right wall, speakers, recording equipment, and a few things decorating the shelves around the studio.
The best thing, though, was when I looked to the floor and saw the rug that said “Keep Off”, making me quietly chuckle.
The sound of something being placed on the table made me look up as Yoongi leaned back into his chair and ran his hands through his hair while sighing.
“Why doesn’t it sound right,” he quietly questioned.
He let out a frustrated groan as he sat back up and clicked on his mouse before the song started playing over the speakers.
I was surprised that he just started playing the song he’s been working on while I was in the room, but rather than making a scene and walking out, I kept quiet and listened.
It was a really good song, but he was right- it didn’t sound right. It sounded empty. Yoongi knew it too, pausing the song and replaying the part before the chorus.
“Why can’t I figure this out,” he whined.
I smiled before I chimed in, “It sounds empty.”
He whipped his chair around so fast I thought he would get whiplash.
“Oh shit! I forgot you were here.”
I laughed at his surprise.
“Anyway, what did you say about the song?”
“I said it sounds empty. If you play it again, I could show you,” I said, getting up and walking over to stand beside him. He didn’t move and just stared up at me.
I sighed, “My phone is in my bag, by the door and it’s completely turned off. You can give me a pat down and I can sign a NDA, if you really want to be thorough. It’s not my first rodeo.”
A small smirk appeared on his face before he lightly shook his head.
“Nah, I think our legal team has enough power to keep someone quiet. Though, I’m surprised they didn’t have you sign an NDA before you came up,” he chuckled.
I smiled, “Me too!”
With that, we turned back to the matter at hand, looking at the screen as he moved the cursor back to the first verse before pressing play.
As I listened to the part leading up to the chorus, I looked over at him and asked if this is what didn’t sound right to him. He nodded and replayed it a final time, solidifying my initial thought.
“Yeah, it sounds empty.”
He turned his chair a little bit to the side to look at me. “What do you mean?”
“I mean that there’s something missing. You know how there’s always a build up to the climax, well… The part that doesn’t sound right- the pre-chorus- is lacking in its build up.”
He nodded, taking in the information as I voiced my thoughts.
I turned back to the monitor.
“And I think the main reason you haven’t caught onto it is because of what’s going on with the instrumental, it’s so intricate that it kind of makes you blind to what’s lacking in the vocals,” I said, pointing to the group of instrument tracks on the monitor.
“If you isolate the vocals,” I pointed to the vocal tracks, “then we should be able to hear what’s missing.”
I stepped back as he did what I suggested, then played the vocals.
We listened to the song without the instruments and it became very clear that the vocals were lacking in contrast.
I shifted my weight and crossed my arms while humming as he fell back into his chair in relief and realization as he drew out a small “ohh”. I
nodded, “I knew it was a lack of contrast. Well, all you need to do is make a higher or lower harmony and it should sound good!”
I turned and went back to sit on the couch as he turned to me.
“You are a lifesaver! I’ve been stuck on this all day,” he said with a relieved smile.
I returned the smile and gave him a nod. He turned back to the computer and went back to work. Putting on his headphones and clicking a few things before pulling a microphone closer to himself and started recording.
It was a lot of fun watching him record the verse, especially when he fumbled over his words making me quietly laugh at the silliness. He did about three takes doing the lower harmony, trying to get the notes right before deciding that the last take was good and adding it to the song.
He gave it one final listen, pumping his fist in the air and letting out a small “yay”. He took off his headphones and started to click on some things before he abruptly stopped and spun his chair around to face me.
“I completely forgot about the date!” I looked at him, surprised.
Oh right… that’s why I’m here…
“What time is it,” I asked.
He took out his phone and checked the time, “Five o’clock.”
“WHAT?! It’s already been an hour and a half?!”
He nodded, “Yeah, time kind of becomes non-existent here.”
I smiled, “Well, we can reschedule if you want to keep working. I can get out of your hair and we can pick a different time to do the date?”
“Or…” he started.
I slightly tilted my head in confusion.
“You could stay and we could order take out?”
“What? Why?”
He tilted his head from side to side. “Well, I mean, you’re already here for the date and I would really like your opinion on some other songs on the album.”
I sat there for a moment while giving it some thought before I quietly sighed, “This is gonna be a lot of paperwork, huh?”
His lips stretched into a thin line as he nodded.
I shrugged, flopping on my side to lay on the couch. “Sure.”
‘’Alright, what do you want for take-out?”
I hummed, “I’ll have whatever you want. I’m not picky with free food.”
“You sound like the members,” he playfully scoffed.
I smiled.
“How about Chinese?”
“Ooh, yes!”
~
While we were waiting for the food to arrive, we had some light banter and Yoongi played a few songs for me to listen to. All of them were really good so there weren't any major changes that needed to be done, just some very minor adjustments like toning down the volume on some tracks or adding an instrument into the instrumental.
Soon enough the doorbell rang, prompting Yoongi to get up and answer the door. He took the bag of take-out from a staff member, giving a small bow as thanks before closing the door.
“Food’s here,” he announced, setting down the food on his desk.
I cheered as he sorted the boxes and brought one over to me.
“Thank you~” I said, taking the food and the chopsticks.
Opening the take-out box, the delicious aroma of the food filled the air as I took out the chopsticks and broke them in half. I waited for Yoongi as he put on a random playlist to fill the air as we ate.
Once he was ready, I said, “Thank you for the food,” and we began eating.
As we were eating I was starting to get a little thirsty and when I looked around where I was sitting, there was… nothing.
“Hey, did we order any drinks?”
The question made him look around his desk before shrugging, “I guess not, but…”
He turned to the left of his desk and scooted over what happened to be a mini fridge.
He opened the little door and looked at what he had in the fridge, “So I’ve got either water or… whiskey.”
That checks out.
“I’ll just take a water,” I chuckled as I placed my food to the side and walked over to where he was, taking the bottle of water with a “thank you”.
I sat down and went back to eating after taking a few sips of water.
“So… I’ve got a question,” he piped.
I had food in my mouth so I hummed in response, letting him know he could keep going.
“You said this wasn't your first rodeo, you produced music before?”
I put up a finger as I hurriedly chewed the food that I had in my mouth before swallowing.
“I actually have a few college friends that went into producing and sometimes they need an outside opinion on a song so they invite me since I have some basic music knowledge. Which means I’ve picked up a few things over time,” I said as I ended with a shrug, scooping some food in my mouth.
“And you didn’t want to pursue it,” he asked and I set my take-out box down once I finished eating.
I sighed, “Not necessarily. I had an interest in music so I minored in Music Studies when I went to college- which is where I met my producer friends, but then life happened as I got a really good job offer at the time so I put that part of my dream on hold.”
He nodded as I continued, “I wanted to get back into music, but as time went by, being in the music industry and making music felt so far away so I stayed where I was. Which is why I like helping my friends out whenever they ask.”
“Well, you’re really good at it. I mean, I didn’t even know what was wrong with my song until you pointed it out after a couple of listens. I think you would be really good at producing songs because of that,” he said while reaching over to a bowl on top of the minifridge to grab…
Tangerines?
“You just have a bowl of tangerines,” I asked, smiling.
He nodded as he quickly peeled it and popped a slice in his mouth.
“Mhmm. Every great producer has to have their favorite snack on hand. Do you want one?”
I nodded, keeping a small smile on my lips.
He grabbed one and tossed it over to me, to which I clumsily caught it.
He laughed at the action, making a blush appear on my cheeks. I looked down at the tangerine in my hands, “Thank you. And thank you for the compliments, they mean a lot coming from you.”
I turned the tangerine around for a few seconds before slightly scrunching my nose as I pressed my nail into the skin so I could start peeling it.
Starting tangerines was never my favorite thing to do, but I had to put up with it if I wanted to eat them. And I really liked eating them.
Popping a slice in my mouth, I looked at Yoongi.
“What about you? Did you always know you wanted to do this,” I asked, gesturing to the room we were in.
He shrugged, “Yeah, I’ve been making music since I was little and even if I hadn’t become an idol, I would still be doing this.”
I hummed and we settled into a comfortable silence as I ate the remaining slices. I sighed as I went to grab my phone from my back pocket before I realized I put it in my bag before I came in here.
“Sorry, but what time is it right now,” I asked.
He looked at his watch, replying, “Almost 9.”
“Geez, time really does become non-existent here. It only felt like an hour,” I chuckled.
A small smile appeared on his lips.
“Or maybe we were having such a great time that it just flew by,” he teased.
I smiled as I got up and dusted off my pants. “Well, I should probably head home. It was really nice meeting you!”
“Wait! I was thinking, if you don’t mind, I would really love it if I could get your opinion on some upcoming songs I’ll be working on soon,” he said as he got up.
“Are you asking for a second date,” I teased.
“That’s one way to put it.”
My eyes widen at the confession.
He nervously chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck.
“I really liked talking to you and I really would like your opinion of some songs, so…” he looked at me in question.
I looked around as if I was deciding what to say before ultimately saying, “Maybe I should get into producing if big time producers are asking for my help.”
He lightly chuckled as I smiled, “I would love to!”
He smiled.
“Oh wait!”
I tilted my head in question as I watched him hurriedly walk over to the minifridge to grab a tangerine and peeled it while walking back to me.
He held out a freshly peeled tangerine for me to take, “One for the road.”
I grabbed it, smiling, “You didn’t have to do that.”
He shrugged, “I saw you scrunch your nose when you peeled your own.”
I blushed at the gesture. “You are quite observant. I love eating these, but I hate peeling them.”
“So... same time next week?”
I happily nodded, “I mean, if I get freshly peeled tangerines every time I come, I would be over all the time.”
“Hmm, that can be arranged,” he smiled.

BTS Headcanon || The Members Playing Loteria

A/N: Hey! I just wanted to write a little blurb while I'm working on the next installment of Blind Date(s)! @maple-leaves-in-the-wind and I came up with this and it was super fun to think about how they would be if they played loteria.
For those who don't know loteria, here's a quick run-down: It's basically bingo, but with betting. You have a set amount (usually a few cents) that you pay per "bingo" card (you can have multiple cards) and you pile the money in the middle. You, then, have someone calling the cards (numbers in bingo) and you win by filling a row either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally and get the money from the middle. Basic bingo rules. At the very end of the game, there is one last round where you pay a good amount of money for each card. The higher the amount, the bigger the pot, the higher the stakes. You win the final pot by filling out the ENTIRE card (think blackout bingo).
Playing loteria with the members would best be described in one word…
CHAOTIC
If RUN BTS has taught us anything, it’s that they are competitive
I’m talking shouting
Blaming
Demanding recounts (looking through each card that was called)
Demanding their money back if they think that the person who’s always winning every round (most likely you) is cheating
The WHOLE nine yards
And speaking of money…
Broke millionaires
When you said that everyone would be buying a card at 25 cents a pop, they immediately start running around whoever’s house (or the shared dorm) that you’re playing at and digging in between the couch cushions for change
Though you had told them about this game DAYS in advance
“Spare change? Spare change, ma’am?”
And don’t even get me started on how much is going into the final pot
Someone Tae suggests that they should pay 5 bucks a card and everyone becomes DEFENSIVE
Get ready for some arguments to break out
"Alright, should we do one final round before we call it a night,” I asked, looking around the table, slightly chuckling at some of the members' hair.
It was mainly the maknae line that had their hair sticking in every direction from the amount of times they had run their hands through it. I collected the cards from near the middle of the table so I could shuffle them as Namjoon pushed the pot money over to me.
Everyone nodded at the question.
“Alright! How much should we pay per card,” I asked as I shuffled the deck.
Taehyung was quick to answer, “5 bucks!”
Everyone’s head shot up at the suggestion while Jungkook, Jimin and Hobi abruptly stood up, almost knocking over their chairs.
"Absolutely not!” “That is too much money!”
I giggled as Jimin and Tae started to bicker and the others sat back down.
“5 bucks? Do you know how many ramen packs I can get with that,” Jungkook argued.
“I’m gonna have to side with Jungkook on this one. I don’t want to pull from my retirement fund yet,” Yoongi said, leaning back and crossing his arms.
“Yeah we don’t want to do that, he’s gonna need it soon,” Jin chimed in.
Yoongi threw a glare at him, “You’re older than me, you know that?”
I bursted out laughing at the disgusted face Jin made before Namjoon started telling us to calm down.
We looked over to him as he stated a proposal, “How about we do 2 dollars a card?”
“I’m down,” I said, taking out 2 dollars from my wallet.
Everyone followed my lead and started to dig around for their wallets before pulling out the amount they were going to pay. I put my two dollars in the middle of the table and got rid of my other two cards, leaving me with the one. I looked around as everyone was sorting their things and stopped at Jungkook.
“I only have a 5 dollar bill,” he said with a pout.
“Do you want 3 cards because I can give you a dollar or if you don’t, just take the change from the pile,”I offered.
He nodded, placing the five in the middle, “I’ll take three cards!” I nodded and pulled out another dollar from my wallet, throwing it in the middle.
Looking around, Hobi, Jimin and Tae had two cards, Jungkook had three, and Namjoon, Yoongi, Jin and I had one which made the grand total: 26 dollars.
“Alright, are we ready,” I asked as everyone nodded. I was about to call a card, but Hobi stopped me.
“Wait, can someone else call the cards?”
I looked at him, confused, “Why?”
“Because you’re the only one that’s been calling cards and you’ve won almost every round.”
“That’s because no one wants to call the cards, but if it makes you feel better… I’ll let you shuffle,” I said, moving to hand him the cards, “And Namjoon can call out the cards, okay?”
I looked over to Namjoon for confirmation as Hobi started to shuffle the deck, he nodded. Once Hobi was done shuffling he handed them over to Namjoon, who started to call out the cards.
It had been a while and no one had cleared their entire card yet, so I looked over and saw that Namjoon had already gone through half of the deck.
“How has no one won yet,” I asked, looking down at my car, that only needed a few more spots to be filled and then looked around.
“I don’t know, but I only need a couple more to win,” Jimin spoke up and the other nodded in agreement.
A few more cards were laid down and the tension was building. Everyone was on the edge of their seats as Namjoon started to near the end of the deck until…
“Buenas!” I cheered as I covered the last spot I needed to completely fill out my card. The guys groaned and fell back into their chairs as I happily collected the money.
“That’s not fair,” Tae groaned.
I laughed, “That’s how it goes.”
I grabbed my wallet and got up, “Well I’m hungry, so I’m gonna go to the convenience store.”
Jungkook and Tae shot up, following me immediately.
“Can you get us something,” Jungkook asked as they both looked at me with puppy dog eyes.
I squinted before sighing, “Fine.”
I was about to step through the door, but stopped and looked at the others, “Are you guys gonna come too?”
They all got up and followed me to the door. I sighed again as we started to walk to the convenience store.
“I’m only getting you ramen, okay?”
“Yay," they all cheered.

Never Did, Now I do

Namjoon x reader
Also known as: The five times you blew a kiss to Namjoon and the one time he finally blew one back.
Word count: 3.2k
Masterlist
A/N: Hi!!! I'm here with a Namjoon fic!!! I got inspired to write this one after watching an edit of Namjoon lives so... Anyway, the text that's "italicized" and in quotations, is dialog in English. Hopefully that makes sense... I hope you enjoy!!
one. - The earliest memory I have of him was when we were 6.
It was a random afternoon when my parents decided to take me to the park. I was happily playing by myself when someone bumped into me.
“Hey, watch out!” I turned to look at a boy with an apologetic smile that showed his dimples.
He bowed slightly.
“Sorry! I just wanted to know if you wanted to play together because I saw that you were playing alone,” he wondered, scratching the back of his neck.
“What if I was happy playing alone?”
He nervously looked to the sides.
“Well, sorry for bothering you then,” he said as turned like he was about to run away before I grabbed his arm.
“Hey, I was just kidding! I would love to play with you, um…” I trailed off.
He perked up, “Oh, it’s Namjoon.”
I held out my hand for him to take. “My name’s Y/n! Nice to meet you,” I said, shaking his hand.
We must've been playing for quite a bit of time before our parents called to each of us, saying that it was time to leave. We both groaned, but promised that we would play again when we saw each other. My parents called me again and I started to jog over to them before stopping and blowing a kiss to him. Something I saw my parents do a million times to say ‘bye’.
“See you later, Namjoon!”
two. - I remembered doing it again when we were 13.
“Aren’t you nervous,” I asked as we entered the underground cafe where the rap circle was bound to take place after checking in.
He shook his head as he marveled at the people gathered in front of the stage and the stage itself.
“Nope, why would I be,” he asked looking at me. I gave him an ‘are you serious right now’ face.
“Um, because… I don't know… You’re going to perform in front of people who have been doing this way longer.”
He chuckled, “The way I see it, I’m here to learn, not teach. Those who teach should be the ones that are nervous.”
He smiled brightly, showing off his dimples. I nodded as I took a deep breath.
“Are you nervous for me?”
I shook my head, “No, there’s just a lot of people.”
“I think you are,” he teased as I looked away.
He placed hand on my shoulder, garnering my attention.
“Y/n/n, there’s no reason for you to be nervous. I’ll be just fine. I have you here to support me and my amazing mind.”
I rolled my eyes, smiling. “Okay,” I nodded.
Moments later, someone on the loud speaker announced, “Coming up, Runch Randa!”
I started clapping with the crowd and looked over to Namjoon, who wasn’t clapping, but smiling and that’s when it hit me.
“Wait, that’s your stage name?”
He nodded.
“Are you gonna keep it when you’re older?”
“Is it bad,” He questioned.
“No,” I shook my head as he chuckled.
“Don’t worry, I’ll come up with something better later, but I’ll keep using this one for now. Plus, I’m not sure I’ll like doing this,” he said, gesturing to the stage.
I watched the person currently performing on stage.
“I’m sure you won’t get enough,” I smiled.
As they finished up their song, we walked over to the stage.
“Thank you for being here.”
I smiled.
“Of course! I wouldn’t miss this for the world! You’re gonna kill it, Mr. Randa,” I cheered.
He smiled before he took the stage. He took the mic and then looked over to me. I blew him a kiss for good luck before he looked forward with determination and started his song.
three. - Another time when we were 19 and he was about to debut on the big stage with BTS.
“I’ve gotta visit more often,” I said, walking into the green room.
“Y/n!” The guys called out as Namjoon turned away from the wall to look at me.
“Happy debut day, you guys! I’m proud of you all,” I said as I walked around and gave them all a hug.
I saved the best for last and stood in front of Namjoon.
“Congrats on debuting, Joonie! I got you something,” I said, holding up the gift bag with black tissue paper sticking out.
He took the bag and looked at me with a confused face.
“It’s nothing too big! I just wanted to get you something,” I said as he placed it on a nearby table and started to open it.
He pulled out a leather bound notebook with a leather strap wrapped around it to keep it closed.
“Y/n/n…” he trailed as he looked at me. I smiled at his reaction.
“If you open it, there’s something written on the inside of the cover,” I pointed out.
He did as instructed, pulling the strap apart and opening the book.
He read aloud, “‘To: Namjoon, Wherever we are, no matter how far apart, I will always be rooting for you! - Y/n’.”
I looked at him expectedly, “Do you like it?”
He quickly pulled me into a hug.
“I absolutely love it, thank you,” he whispered, nuzzling into my neck.
We pulled apart after a moment and I watched as he put the notebook back in the bag and set it by his things before walking back to me.
“BTS, you’re on in five minutes,” one of the stage managers called.
All the boys got up, ready to perform.
“We gotta go, but I’ll see you later,” he said and I nodded as he started to walk over to the other members.
Right before he was going to walk out, “Namjoon!”
He looked back and I blew him a small kiss.
“Good luck out there! I’ll be watching from the sides.”
He smiled and nodded before leaving with the others for their debut.
four. - Again when we were 22 and they were leaving for their Wings world tour.
“I’m not late, am I,” I asked running up to the group that was about to leave for their Wings tour.
Some of them were giving the managers their bags, so they could put them in the trunks and the others turned to look at me.
“What’s that,” Taehyung asked, pointing to the three bags I was carrying.
“Oh right! I brought you guys some food because I wasn’t sure if you’ve eaten since it’s really early,” I said, handing a bag to Tae, Yoongi, and Jin as the rest gathered around.
They all said their ‘thank you’s as they started to dig through the bag, taking out some of the food I packed for them.
I smiled, “Of course! I wanted to see you guys off, but I can’t do it at the airport so I had Namjoon text me when you would leave for the airport.”
I looked at him and he nodded.
“Aww, that’s sweet,” Hobi exclaimed as he brought me into a hug which led the others to hug us effectively making a group hug.
“Take care of each other and have a safe trip! I’ll see you at your last concerts,” I said, pulling away from the group.
The managers let them know that they would have to leave soon and that they should get ready to leave.
We all said our ‘bye’s before they started to get into one of the cars.
That left me with…
“Y/n,” Namjoon said, grabbing my attention as I turned to look at him.
I hummed in response.
“Thanks for coming to see us off.”
“Yeah, I wouldn’t miss this for the world… Though, it’s super early,” I said through a yawn.
He smiled.
“Plus, who’s gonna remind you to make sure to not lose your passport.”
He laughed, “That was one time!”
“Doesn’t matter! Knowing you, you would probably lose it again so make sure to give it to Yoongi or Jin,” I teased as a smile grew on my face.
“I’m gonna miss you,” he said, pulling me into a hug.
“I know, but I’ll see you when you come back.”
I pulled back, holding both of his hands and looked at him.
“Look at you, going on your first long-term tour! I’m so incredibly proud of you, Joonie,” I smiled.
He pulled me back into the hug, holding tightly. “I’m really gonna miss you, Y/n/n,” he whispered.
I tightened my hold on him, too, “I’m really gonna miss you too, Joon.”
We stayed like this for a bit before Jin yelled, “Namjoon, the managers said we have to get going soon!”
He quietly groaned in frustration and I laughed as I pulled away because I know that he rolled his eyes.
“Please be safe and stay healthy. If you ever need anything, I’ll always pick up, okay?”
He nodded.
I nodded too before sighing, “You should get going.”
He nodded once more before he started walking toward the cars with the other members. He was about to get in when he looked back at me. He waved to me and I smiled as I blew him a kiss and waved before he got in the car and closed the door.
five. -  The last time was when we were 25 and I had to leave for a while.
“Are you sure that you’re going to be okay,” Namjoon asked, taking the last bag out of the trunk and placing it on the ground.
I smiled at his concern.
“I’ll be okay, Namjoon.”
“I’m just making sure.”
“Trust me, I’m not one to lose my passport unlike some people,” I teased.
“You’re never gonna let that go, are you,” he rolled his eyes, but smiled nonetheless.
“Nope,” I shook my head and he sighed, accepting his fate.
He walked up to me, rolling the suitcase over and handing it to me. I placed my bag strap over the handle and let it rest on the top of my suitcase.
“Remind me again, how long are you going to be gone,” he asked.
I rested my hands on the handle of the suitcase as I thought, “Hmm… two, three years maybe.”
He groaned, “That’s so long…”
I chuckled, “It’s not that long. Three years can pass in the blink of an eye.”
He nodded and sighed lightly, “I know, but I’m gonna miss having you around all the time.”
I pushed my suitcase to the side and walked up to Namjoon, pulling him into a hug which he immediately returned.
“I’ll be back before you know it. I promise,” I whispered, nuzzling my face into his neck.
We stayed like this for a few more moments, then I gave him one last squeeze before pulling away from him and taking out my phone to check the time.
“I should get going before I miss my flight,” I said as I grabbed hold of my suitcase.
“Would that be such a bad thing?”
I smiled sadly at his question. It wouldn’t be a bad thing to stay here, with him, but my job had offered me an opportunity that I couldn’t pass up so I agreed with the clause that it wouldn’t be a permanent relocation.
I started to back up, so I could put some distance between us.
“I’ll text you when I land, okay?”
“Okay,” he nodded.
With that, I turned and started to walk away. I was about to go through the doors to the airport, but stopped and turned to face Namjoon before blowing him a kiss and waving goodbye.
He smiled as I turned to leave him for a while with a promise that I’ll return soon.
~
It had been two and a half years since I moved to the US.
Namjoon and I haven’t kept in contact as much as I thought we would. When I first moved, we always made it a point to text each other a couple of times a week, but we both started to get really busy so we couldn’t talk as much.
Now here we are, barely talking to each other unless it’s a holiday or birthday. Though, I always made sure to keep up with what he was up to and that meant watching his lives.
I saw the notification when I opened my phone once I put my stuff down after I got back from work. I tapped it to open it up as I placed it on the kitchen island and propped it against the closest object.
I went to the fridge to grab the leftover take-out from the other day and proceeded to put it in the microwave to heat it up. At the same time as me starting the microwave, the live finally loaded and I could hear Namjoon talking.
I watched him just talk for a bit before the microwave beeped, signaling that the food was done heating up so I walked over and took it out, then went to get a fork out of the drawer before going back to the island so I could start eating.
After a while, I saw a specific comment: Oppa, why do you blow kisses at the end of your lives?
He must’ve seen it too because he answered, “Because you guys ask.”
I smiled and he continued, “And because someone very close to me did it all the time for me, but I never did it for them. I haven’t seen them in a while and I kind of regret not doing it back all those years, so now I do it for you.”
After a bit, he started to say ‘bye’ to Army before blowing a kiss and turning off the live. I smiled sadly as I pressed the home button and turned off my phone, thinking about what he said earlier.
I sighed when I got up and put my dishes in the sink, ready to go to bed, hoping that I would be done with my job in America soon, so that I could go back home…
~ Two months later ~
“Congrats, Y/n!”
I looked up from my computer to see Lyn standing over my desk, grinning like a maniac.
“What do you mean, Lyn,” I questioned, tilting my head to the side.
“Well, you know how you always say that you want to finish up here so you can go home? Now you can!”
I shot up from my seat once those words left her mouth.
I looked at her in disbelief, “What, really?!”
She nodded happily, “Yep! Everything was finalized earlier today and they just sent out an email stating that everyone from the Korea branch is good to move back starting next week.”
I smiled brightly at the news. I finally got to go back home, where my family and friends were, where Namjoon was.
one. - When we were 28 and he finally blew one back to me.
I was walking with a staff member through the halls of the concert venue that Namjoon was set to perform within the hour. It took a few minutes before we arrived at the “Artist Room”.
The door was open, seeing that there was staff frequently going in and out of it so I peaked my head in.
He was sitting on the couch, hunched over, and writing in a journal with a frustrated expression on his face. I quietly chuckled when he shook his head and scribbled over what he just wrote before sighing.
My gaze fell to the journal and after a few moments, I realized that it was the journal that I gave him all those years ago. I remembered that he once told me that he explicitly uses it to write lyrics, which makes sense watching him right now.
“Do you always write lyrics before a performance,” I questioned.
His head shot up to look at me and he dropped his pen, whatever he was writing was forgotten. I smiled as I walked further into the room, stopping a few feet in front of the coffee table as he stood up.
He quickly rounded the table, scooping me into a hug and spinning us around. I laughed at his excitement before he stopped and set me down.
He backed up and looked at me with a small smile and surprise in his eyes. “What are you doing here?!”
“Well, I couldn’t miss my best friend’s first solo concert, now can I?”
He pulled me back into a hug before he said, "I'm sorry."
“For what,” I chuckled confusedly.
“For not trying harder to keep contact with you.”
I hugged a little tighter, “It’s not your fault that we were both super busy. Plus, our timezones weren’t exactly the nicest.”
He pulled back, “Wait- ‘weren’t’? Does this mean…”
I happily nodded.
“Yep, I was cleared to move back last week so some of my things are still on they’re way, but I’m back for good!”
A giant smile made its way onto his face, showing his dimples as I told him the news.
We just stood there, looking at each other until a staff member tapped me on my shoulder and told me that I should head out soon for the performance.
I nodded and sighed, “Well, I should probably get going. I got front row tickets, so I’ll see you after your performance.”
I started to back away from him, but grabbed my hand right before I was about to leave. I looked at him with curiosity.
“Will you go out with me,” he blurted out.
My eyes widened in surprise at the question, “What?”
“You leaving for so long made me realize how much I like having you by my side. It was hard not being able to call you just to talk about random things or accompanying you to get ice cream at 2 a.m. because you were craving it, but didn’t want to go alone. It broke my heart when I let you go, but I don’t want to make that mistake again so… will you go out with me?”
I looked at him and saw nervousness overtake his face, but there was still hope in his eyes.
I couldn’t say that I didn’t feel the same way because I did. I couldn’t imagine not having Namjoon in my life and the time that we spent apart made me realize that I wanted to be with him, too.
So after a few seconds of deciding I smiled and nodded, “I would love to.”
He smiled and was going to say something, but I held up a finger in front of him to stop him.
“BUT right now you have a performance, so we’ll talk about this afterward, okay,” I raised my eyebrows.
He nodded. “Okay, I’ll see you after the show,” he said as he let go of my hand.
I backed up a bit, ready to take my leave before a thought popped in my head.
“Oh right!” I blew him a kiss, “Good luck out there, Joonie!”
With that I turned around and almost through the door, until Namjoon called my name.
I looked back at him and he finally blew a kiss back.

Dating Rumors pt. 2
Tumblr media
Jungkook x reader
Word count: 1.9k
Dating Rumors: pt.1
Main Masterlist
A/N: Hi!!!! Thank you to everybody who liked the first part of Dating Rumors so much, that I had to make a second part! This one's for you! And thanks to @maple-leaves-in-the-wind for helping me make some decisions. Anyway... Enjoy!
“When are you two going to straighten things out,” Taehyung asked.
It had been about a month since Jungkook’s confession at my apartment and things were far from being “okay” between us.
We were awkward whenever we looked at each other and couldn’t have a proper conversation like we did before all of this happened and because of that, the members started to ask questions.
On the other hand, the news about Jungkook and the girl he was “supposedly” dating only lasted a week before it became old news because Jungkook let everyone know, on live, that he wasn’t dating anyone.
I sighed, closing my laptop.
“I don’t know, Tae. How do you even start a conversation like that? ‘Hey Jk, I’m sorry I kinda blew you off when you confessed a few weeks ago. It’s just that I was thinking about you and your career instead of hearing you out on what you wanted because I care that much for you’?”
I shook my head as I sighed again.
Honestly, I don’t think I was thinking right at that moment. My best friend just confessed that he was in love with me and I let my insecurities get the better of me. I don’t think anybody would think rationally at a moment like that.
He looked me straight in the eyes.
“Yes.”
I huffed.
He leaned back in his chair, “Listen, Y/n, this is eating you both up inside and all of us are starting to worry. The faster you guys hash this out, the faster things go back to normal. And I’m not saying this because all of us are tired of seeing you two wallow in your feelings,” I rolled my eyes.
He continued.
“But because this,” he vaguely gestured in the air, “is affecting your work and his’.”
I nodded, “Yeah… You’re right. I’ll head over to his place later today and figure it out.”
He smiled before Yoongi walked in the room and looked between us.
“What are you guys up to?”
“I was just talking to her about the situation between her and Jungkook,” Tae stated.
Yoongi turned his gaze to me, “Dude, you gotta figure that out.”
I huffed. “I know!”
KNOCK! KNOCK!
I was standing in front of Jungkook’s apartment. I texted him after my talk with Tae, asking if I could go over to his place to talk. He agreed and I told him that I would stop by whenever I finished with work.
So now, here I am… at 10:32… pm.
I threw my head back and sighed, rubbing my hand over my face.
Maybe, I should've waited until tomorrow…
I was about to turn around when I heard some thumping from behind the door before it quickly opened to show a disheveled Jungkook. I smiled when I saw his hair sticking out in every direction.
“Hey, Y/n/n!”
“Hey, Kook… Sorry if I woke you up. I can come back another time if-”
“No no no! It’s fine,” he hurriedly shook his head.
“I wasn’t sure when you were coming over and kinda put off cleaning until now. But I wasn’t sleeping!”
I just looked at him with a tiny smile as he rambled. He took a breath to calm down and stepped to the side.
“Would you like to come in?” I nodded and stepped inside.
The first thing you see when you enter is the kitchen and as I’m looking around, I see a bunch of food wrappers and empty ramen bowls lying around.
I stopped by the island and looked at Jungkook, who wore a panicked expression before he started to hurriedly pick up the mess.
“Sorry about the mess!”
I giggled while helping him, “Don’t worry. I’ve seen your place in worse condition.”
He chuckled as we threw away the trash before he started to wipe down the counter.
“So…” he started as I looked at him.
“What did you want to talk about?”
“Right.” I leaned against the island and sighed.
“I’m sorry,” I said before he whipped his head to look at me.
“Why are you apologizing?! You have nothing to be sorry for-”
“Before you start rambling, will you let me explain,” I asked, smiling.
He nodded as he zipped his lips.
“I wanted to apologize for the other night because I didn’t consider your feelings.”
I looked away from him and then continued, “I got scared when you confessed and got defensive which made me say things I didn’t mean and on top of all of that, I completely disregarded your feelings, so… I’m sorry.”
By the end of my apology, I had my eyes on the floor as I nervously fiddled with my hands. Jungkook moved to stand in front of me and grabbed my hands.
“Listen,” he started as I raised my head to look at him, “I’m the one that should be apologizing considering that I was the one that confessed and put you in that position in the first place. I should’ve just waited until the next day to explain what was going on.”
I shook my head, “You were just trying to protect what you love.”
“And you were too,” he said, shaking my arms for emphasis.
I looked away as I thought for a moment. He was right, I was trying to protect myself, but at the same time I was trying to protect him.
He let out a breath, “So… Are we good?”
I looked at him again and smiled when I saw his hopeful expression.
“Yeah,” I nodded, but he raised his eyebrows in question.
“For real this time,” I laughed.
He sighed in relief and a smile graced his lips before he pulled me into a hug.
“Good, because I’ve missed talking to you,” he said as he nuzzled his face in my neck.
I held him tighter, “Me too.”
~
“Ooh~ When did this happen,” Taehyung sang as he entered the room with the others.
I looked at Jungkook, who was sitting right next to me with a hand around the middle of my back while I showed him some designs for their new album.
“We patched things up a couple of days ago, if that’s what you’re asking,” I said, looking back at the laptop.
He shook his head.
“No, I’m talking about this,” he said as he mimicked Jungkook’s arm and then dramatically imitated me “cuddling up” next to him.
I rolled my eyes at the scene.
“So, are you guys together now,” Namjoon asked as he tugged Tae to sit down.
Jungkook shook his head, “No, we agreed that it wasn’t a good time to start dating now, so we’ll wait and see where it goes.” I nodded in agreement.
Right after Jungkook was done saying that, Hobi walked into the room while looking at his phone with his eyebrows furrowed.
“Guys, have you seen this,” he asked as he walked over to us, holding out his phone so we could see.
“What,” I asked, taking the phone.
Nothing prepared me for what I was going to read.
“BTS member Jungkook spotted once more with rumored girlfriend,” I read out loud before scrolling a bit further to read more of the article.
“Jungkook was recently seen hugging a girl at his apartment complex. Fans think that he might have a secret relationship considering this is the second time this has happened."
“WHAT?!” Jungkook and I exclaimed in tandem.
I looked at Jungkook and saw the concerned expression that bordered fear. I’m sure I wore the same expression as he looked at me.
“Well… at least they don’t know your name,” Jin spoke up, trying to defuse the tension in the air.
I was about to look on the bright side when I scrolled a little further.
“Unlike the previous time, the girl in the photos has now been identified as Big Hit’s lead graphic designer L/n Y/n. You’ve got to be kidding me,” I sighed as I flopped back into the couch and held out the phone so Hobi could take it back.
Once he took it back I ran my hands over my face in frustration as Jungkook flopped back with me.
“What are you guys going to do,” Jimin asked in a soft tone.
I groaned before turning to look at Jungkook. We all sat in silence for a while, thinking about what to do before Jungkook quickly sat up and turned to me.
“I think I know what to do! Would you mind meeting me at my place later tonight?” I nodded.
~
“So, what’s your grand plan to get us out of this mess,” I asked as I walked through the door.
He was sitting on his couch and fiddling with his phone on the coffee table, trying to keep it standing upright.
He looked back at me and smiled, “We are going to go live.”
Any expression on my face fell, the moment that sentence left his mouth.
I stared at him as he went back to fixing his phone, “You can’t be serious, right?”
“Well, it worked last time, so why can’t it work now?”
“Because the first time wasn’t true, but we have feelings for each whether we’ve defined our relationship or not, so I don’t think it would be right to lie to ARMY,” I said, walking over to the side of the couch.
“Who said we were going to lie,” he asked, looking over to me after pressing something on the phone.
I looked over at his phone to see the countdown reach zero before starting the live.
“Kook,” I panicked and moved away from the couch, off to the side so the camera couldn’t pick me up.
He got up and walked over to me, “It’s okay. ARMYs are the sweetest, most understanding people I know. They’ll understand if we tell them the truth, okay?”
I looked at him for a moment before nodding, “Okay, I’m trusting you.”
He gently took my hand and led me back to the side of the couch.
“Wait here until I introduce you. They might start a riot if you just show up without any warning,” he whispered.
I quietly chuckled, “Sounds like you have some experience.”
“Maybe once or twice,” he said before taking his seat in front of the camera.
“Hey guys,” he said, waving to the camera. I
sat down on the arm of the couch, watching him talk with ARMY for a bit. I smiled when he started laughing at something that was said in the chat, but soon enough people started to ask about the dating rumors.
“So, I know all of you are curious about Y/n, the girl in the pictures with me. Just like all of you, she’s someone very important to me. She’s been my best friend for a very long time and I would really like to keep her in my life,” he said and a smile crept its way on my face.
“So, let me introduce all of you to her,” he looked over to me and patted the seat next to him.
I took a breath before standing up and taking a seat beside him.
“Hi, ARMY,” I said as I shyly waved at the camera.
The chat started to move quickly since I came into frame and we were trying to read them until one caught Jungkook’s eye.
“Are you guys dating,” he read aloud, looking to me.
I turned to look at him and then back at the chat, reading the messages.
She’s so pretty!!
You guys look cute together!
If you weren’t already together, I would ship!!!
I smiled and looked back at him, nodding.
He smiled brightly as wrapped an arm around my torso tugging me closer.
I smiled back at him and while looking at me, he proudly declared, “Yeah. We’re dating.”

Blind Date(s): Intro
Main Masterlist
A/N: What up! Jin is the first one up for my Blind Date(s) mini series! This fic is a LOT of dialog because there's really not much to cooking so... Btw if you're curious about how Jin's ziti would taste, it's like Olive Garden's baked ziti, but WAY better because it's Kim Seokjin. Also thanks to @maple-leaves-in-the-wind for helping me come up with the overall plot of this fic! Anyway... I hope you enjoy!
While we were bickering about the topic, the sound of the doorbell stopped us dead in our tracks. I looked at her and then at the door and back at her before I huffed, standing up to open the door.
“We are not done with this conversation,” I told her once I reached the door.
Still a bit upset with Hari, I might have opened the door a little too aggressively, actively scaring the person on the other side who happened to be none other than the person we were just discussing about.
I was taken aback by his presence, but that didn’t last long as I felt a hand land on my shoulder.
“Oh, I think we’re done with this conversation,” Hari whispered in my ear.
I looked over at her angrily and was about to tell her off when Jin spoke.
“Is this a bad time, because I can come back later if you want?”
“Yes.”
“No.”
Hari and I spoke at the same time.
“Would you give us a minute,” Hari asked while she shut the door before he could give his answer.
“Why is he here,” I whisper shouted, not wanting him to hear the mess that was going on on this side of the door.
“He’s here for your date,” she whispered back.
I shook my head, “No. No! Tell him to reschedule or you go on the date because I’m not doing it.”
“Can’t. This was the only day that worked for him and it’s also under your name so…”
I sighed as I started to walk away.
“Y/n, where are you going?”
“To my room. Tell him that I suddenly felt unwell or something,” I waved her off.
She took my wrist in her hand and spun me around before I could walk any further into the house.
“Y/n/n, I would be damned if I let you walk away from this fine looking man.”
She tugged on my arm making me move in front of the door as she placed her hands on my shoulders.
“Dude, nobody is expecting anything to come out of this. This isn’t even a real, high-stakes, date, okay? This is just you hanging out with a really good looking guy,” she insisted.
“Yeah, good looking and famous,” I muttered under my breath.
She smiled.
“Exactly! So just hang out with him for the day and you won’t have to do this ever again, okay?”
I nodded and sighed out a tiny breath.
“Fine. So, what are we doing today,” I asked, finally curious on what she planned.
“You both are going to have dinner here.”
“WHAT?!”
She manically laughed as she opened the door and shouted “Have fun” as she all but ran down the hall.
“Hari! Hari, come back here,” I shouted after her, but they fell on deaf ears as she continued to run away.
I huffed as I watched her round the corner and away from my line of sight.
“I’m guessing she sprung this on you, huh?”
I turned my head to find Jin still standing in front of my door. I rolled my eyes at Hari’s antics.
“I should be used to this with how often she does it, but nope. How long have you known about this anyway,” I asked, vaguely gesturing to the date.
He hummed in thought.
“Well, we were told about the winning bid a few days after the auction was over and we’ve been communicating with your friend, Hari, for a while… so I’ll say about a month, at least.”
“Of course…”
Hari was always the person you could count on for surprises. Which were usually a good thing if you wanted a surprise birthday or some other special occasion, but other times when she decided to leave details until the very last minute, like right now, they were a little less of a good thing.
While lost in thought I saw that he was holding a bag which brought me back to reality.
“Oh, I totally forgot my manners! Please come in,” I said, gesturing for him to come inside.
He gave me a polite smile and a small bow before walking inside.
“You can set your bag on the kitchen island,” I pointed.
“You can put your coat anywhere you’d like. And you’ll have to excuse the mess, I was just told about this date, like 25 minutes ago.”
He chuckled as I started to dart around in order to quickly tidy up a little bit.
“No worries! Your place is still cleaner than mine, so I don’t mind it being a little “messy”.”
I gave him a grateful smile as I slowed down on tidying up. I went to the kitchen when I remembered what Hari told me.
“Oh right! Hari said that we’re supposed to have dinner here, but I don’t have anything prepared, so are you okay with takeout,” I asked, picking up the glasses Hari and I had left on the table when Jin showed up.
He shook his head as he started to dig around in his bag, “Don’t worry about that. I’ll be making dinner.”
“Huh?”
Did I hear him right? Kim Seokjin is going to make dinner?
“Mhmm,” he nodded.
That didn’t answer anything as I was still confused and by the way he chuckled when he looked at me, I knew that my face was showing it.
"Your friend, Hari, right?”
I hummed in confirmation.
“Had donated a lot of money for this date and because of that, she was allowed to pick what the activity was for the date.”
I nodded along as I took in the information he was telling me while taking ingredients out of the bag.
He continued, “Of course it had to be within certain guidelines, but when she suggested eating out as a date I was quick to start asking questions.”
“What kind of questions? Were you skeptical or something,” I asked, raising an eyebrow.
He chuckled, “No, nothing like that. More along the lines of if she had any allergies and what her preferred meal was, stuff like that.”
“Makes sense,” I shrugged, “some people have texture things or things they don’t like.”
“Right. So she said that Italian was the best bet when it came to a meal and also that you would prefer a home cooked meal.”
I hummed.
“That’s true, mainly because there aren’t that many Italian restaurants in a decent radius so I prefer to make it at home.”
Then a question popped in my head, “Wait, you said that she told you that I like home cooked meals.”
He nodded.
“Didn’t you think it was weird that she was planning this date for someone else?”
He hummed in thought before answering, “Originally, yes. A lot of people wouldn’t give up the chance to go on a date with us, right? So, I was surprised that she was giving it up for you, but I still went along with what she said because of how much she donated. Plus I think I’m a pretty good cook and I haven’t had much time to brush up on my skills, so when she suggested cooking, it was a no-brainer.”
I smiled and gave him a curt nod.
Having set out all of the ingredients while he was speaking, I started looking for some pans that he could use.
“What are we making,’ I asked as I placed some pots and pans on the counter for him to choose between.
He walked up to the counter and started to choose.
“Well, I’m making baked ziti,” he said, taking a pot and adding water in it before placing it on the stove to bring it to a boil.
“Baked ziti?! I haven’t had that in forever,” I exclaimed.
He looked at me and chuckled.
“Well then I made a good choice then, huh?”
I happily nodded as I looked at him. We looked at each other for a moment before I cleared my throat.
“Well, I guess I should start on the food,” he said, grabbing some of the vegetables and placing them next to the cutting board I had set out before I started looking for pans.
I moved over to the island and sat down on one of the stools.
“Are you sure you don’t want me to help because I feel kind of guilty letting you do all of the work.”
“Yeah, I’m fine with doing all the work. Plus you might end up messing with my flow,” he teased.
“You have a flow?”
He shrugged and smiled, “Yeah, don’t all the best cooks have a flow?”
I shrugged, “I wouldn’t know. I haven’t had many dinner dates with the “best” cooks.”
We looked at each other before bursting out into laughter. He turned around and started to wash the vegetables while chuckling.
“I really don’t have a problem with doing all the work, but if you want to help…”
He stopped washing the vegetables and turned to me with his hand on his chin as he hummed in thought.
“You can be my official taste tester!”
“Ooh~ I love that job,” I smiled.
~
Jin started making the sauce after cutting the vegetables and putting in the noodles to boil. It was basically a waiting game until the noodles softened, so we started some light banter. At some point, light banter had turned into an endless game of 20 questions to get to know more about each other.
We were having so much fun listening to each other’s stories, Jin forgot to turn down the heat for the sauce so when it started to bubble it was splashing everywhere.
As he was trying to turn down the heat on the stove some of it splashed on his arm which made him dramatically hold his arm and look between me and the sauce.
I couldn’t contain my laughter and burst into a fit of giggles at his overreaction.
“Are you laughing at my pain,” he dramatically gasped.
“No…” I said between giggles.
“I think you are!”
I calmed down, wiping the tears that escaped from my eyes while sighing.
“It’s not my fault that you dramatically got hurt.”
He huffed.
“I wouldn’t have gotten hurt if you put out a lid to use,” he looked at me accusingly.
“I did. It’s right there,” I said, pointing to the lid sitting to the left of the stove, next to the pan.
He followed where I was pointing and stared at the lid for a moment before uttering a small “oh”.
I broke out into another fit of giggles as he continued to look at the lid.
Once he broke out of his reverie, he checked the noodles and carefully drained the water. He gathered the baking pan along with all the remaining ingredients that were on the island and lined them up before assembling everything in the pan.
“Y/n, is the ricotta over there,” Jin asked, looking over his shoulder at me.
I looked around the table for a package that says “ricotta”, but ultimately found nothing.
“Not on the table. Maybe in your bag,” I suggested.
He nodded to let me know that it was okay to dig through his bag and when I did…
“Nothing.”
He sighed as I looked at him. He turned around to face me.
“You wouldn’t have any ricotta by any chance, would you?”
I shook my head.
“Nope, ricotta cheese is not something I put in my everyday diet.”
He sighed as he thought.
“Okay, well then I’ll head over to the store to get some.”
“No, I can go,” I said, getting up from my seat.
“No, I’ll go. You wouldn’t know which kind I need.”
I crossed my arms, “And you wouldn’t know where the only store that sells ricotta is.”
He mirrored me by crossing his arms and sighed before a smile grew on his lips.
“Sounds like we need each other, so let’s go together.”
I smiled and nodded, “Sounds good! You cover all of that up for when we come back, I’ll grab my jacket and bag, and then we can head out.”
He nodded as I went to get my jacket and bag from the hook next to the door and put them on as he walked over, already in his jacket and scarf.
“Ready?”
He nodded.
I grabbed the keys from my bag and opened the door.
“Alright, let’s go!”
~
“Ta-da,” I cheered as we stepped inside the store.
It was a little grocery store that was tucked away in a downhill alley. Not many people came to this store seeing as it was hidden away and people had to walk for a while to get to it, but what made it interesting was that it sold a lot of items that you usually couldn’t find in a regular convenience store.
I came here once as a last resort for a specific ingredient and lo and behold, they had it so I always made sure to come here first for anything I needed which in time made me a regular to…
“Y/n? Is that you?”
Mrs. Cho, a 76 year old woman who might seem intimidating at first, but is the sweetest lady I’ve ever met.
I smiled as she rounded the corner.
“Mrs. Cho, how have you been,” I asked as she pulled me in for a hug.
“It’s been too long, my dear,” she said as she pulled back and smiled at me.
Then her gaze shifted from me to Jin.
She smirked, “And who is this tall and handsome young man?!”
He chuckled and bowed, “My name is Kim Seokjin, ma’am. It’s nice to meet you.”
Her smile got wider as she looked back at me.
“Handsome AND respectful! You really know how to pick them.”
I blushed as I rolled my eyes and lightly shook my head, “We’re not dating, we’re just here to get something. Speaking of, do you have any ricotta cheese?”
“Ricotta cheese,” she asked as I nodded.
“It should be in fridges at the back, second one from the right.”
She pointed in that direction. I asked Jin if he could go get one, to which he nodded and left. Mrs. Cho pulled me over to the register, where, once behind it, pulled up a chair while I leaned on the counter.
“So… when did this happen?”
“What? Me and Jin,” I asked as I pointed behind me in his general direction.
She nodded.
“It’s a long story, but I promise we are not dating. We literally met today.”
She narrowed her eyes.
“Well something must have happened because there’s something special in the way he looks at you.”
I lightly scoffed, “There’s no way you’re seeing it right and don’t forget that I said that we just met today."
She leaned her elbows on the counter.
“Listen, I may be old, but I’m not blind… yet and I can see that you two have something. Don’t forget of a little thing called “love at first sight”, maybe you two have it,” she smiled.
I was about to argue with the notion, but was stopped short as Jin stopped at the counter, placing the ricotta on the counter. “
Thank you for getting that,” I said.
He nodded.
“Did we need anything else or did you want to get something,” I asked.
He shook his head, “Nope, I think I’m good. Did you want something, though?”
I hummed as I looked around the store finding where my snacks sit, but ultimately decided against it as I shook my head, “Nope, I’ll be okay.”
I pushed the cheese forward on the counter and Mrs. Cho rang it up as I pulled out my wallet. I paid as she put the cheese in a small bag before we started to make our way out. I was about to say bye when something caught my eye.
“I didn’t know you sold flowers,” I said, turning to Mrs. Cho.
She smiled, “I just ordered them. I thought they would brighten up the place.”
I smiled as I looked at them, “They look lovely. Anyway, we’ll be heading out now. Bye, I’ll see you soon!”
I waved at her as she did the same.
“Take care, dear.”
I nodded before Jin and I headed out.
We had walked for a few minutes when Jin suddenly stopped. I continued to walk until I realized that he was no longer by my side, so I stopped and turned around.
“What wrong,” I questioned.
“I forgot to get something. Is it okay if I go back for it?”
I nodded, “Of course! Do you want me to go with you?”
He shook his head while taking a few slow steps back.
“No, it’s okay. I’ll be right back,” he said as he jogged in the direction we just came from.
I sighed as I looked around for a place to sit while I waited for Jin to come back. My eyes landed on a bench a little bit away, near some trees and I decided to walk over to it. I dusted off the thin layer of snow that had collected on the bench before sitting down.
It was lightly snowing and luckily there wasn’t any wind so I wasn’t completely freezing my butt off, and although sitting out in the snow wasn’t exactly ideal, it was peaceful. It was quiet except for the occasional crunch of snow from passersby or children laughing off in the distance.
It wasn’t too long, though, before I saw Jin jog by. I chuckled as I watched him stop abruptly and look around. I stood up and walked over to him.
“I thought I lost you,” he sighed in relief.
I lightly shook my head with a smile, “Nope, still here.”
I looked at the bag in his hands. “What did you get?”
He muttered a small ‘right’ as he reached into the bag and pulled out a bottle.
“I saw this wine as I was walking through the store while you were talking Mrs. Cho and I thought it sounded good and would pair nicely with what we’re having, so I went back to get it.”
I hummed as I looked at the label, Chianti, a rustic Italian red wine.
“You’re quite the wine connoisseur, huh?”
He proudly nodded, “I might have some knowledge.”
I smiled as I looked at the bag and then back at Jin.
“Did you get anything else,” I asked as he put the wine back in the bag and some crunching could be heard.
“I may have also got a few snacks for myself,” he smiled as he avoided eye contact.
I laughed at his silliness. “Okay, let’s get going, Mr. Wine Connoisseur.”
He chuckled as we started to walk back to the apartment.
The only way I could describe the time we spent walking so far would be, peaceful. We weren’t talking, but there was never an uncomfortable air that surrounded us that made us want to break it. It felt nice walking with Jin.
Peaceful.
While walking, I was looking around at the scenery when my gaze fell upon a few kids having fun, making a snowman. I smiled at the sight.
Jin must’ve followed what I was looking at because he stopped and spoke up.
“Y/n.”
I hummed and stopped walking to look at him.
“Where does a snowman get the weather report?”
I closed my eyes and sighed.
“Oh no…”
“The winternet!”
I facepalmed at the joke while he started laughing.I shook my head as I started to walk off.
“Dad jokes? Really.” He nodded while he caught up to me.
“Yep, it’s my speciality!”
I glanced at him, “You seem to have a lot of specialities.”
He shrugged, “What can I say, there’s a lot of things I’m good at.”
I playfully scoffed as he smiled at me.
“Okay, what do you call it when a snowman ignores you?” I just looked at him, waiting for the answer.
“The cold shoulder!”
I slightly chuckled as I rolled my eyes, “Oh my gosh, I’m going to give you the cold shoulder!”
“Hey, but that one got a laugh out of you!”
“It was more of a scoff because it was ridiculous!”
He smiled and hurried to stand in front of me, effectively stopping me from walking further.
“Okay okay okay! Last one I swear!”
I nodded for him to continue. “Okay. What can you catch in winter, even with your eyes closed?”
I stared at him for a moment before I gave in. “What?”
He smirked and before I knew what was happening he had draped a scarf behind my neck and stepped closer to me so that we were inches apart.
“A cold,” he said as he brought his face closer to mine.
I felt a flare of heat rise to cheeks at Jin’s proximity and when I backed up to put some distance between us, but I must’ve stepped on some ice because I felt myself starting to fall backwards. I closed my eyes, bracing myself for when I hit the ground, but it never happened.
Instead, I felt a tight grip around my torso and when I opened my eyes, Jin’s face was centimeters away from mine.
His eyes held concern as he looked me over.
“Are you okay?” I stared at him for a moment, a little shaken up, but nodded anyway when he looked at me again. He let out a sigh of relief as he helped me stand up.
I coughed slightly, “Um, we should probably be getting back.”
He let the arm that was wrapped around my torso drop to his side as he nodded in agreement.
“Yeah, let’s get going,” he said as he started walking.
~
Once we got home, Jin set his bag down and got to work on preheating the oven and assembling the ingredients. I started setting up the table by grabbing plates and utensils and laying them opposite of each other.
It wasn’t a big table since it was only really only me- and sometimes Hari- who ate here so I didn’t feel the need to buy a big dining table when I moved in.
As I was almost done setting the table a question popped into my head. “Jin, did you want to eat here or on the island?”
He looked over his shoulder as he was putting the ziti in the oven.
“Over there is perfect,” he said before closing the oven door and setting the timer.
When I went to sit down to wait for the food to be done, I finally realized what I was wearing.
Sweats.
Debating on whether I should change into something nicer, I looked at Jin. He was wearing a simple cream button up with jeans and even though it was casual, it was still better than the sweats I was wearing.
Deciding that I should, at least, look a bit nicer for dinner and got up to head to my room.
“I’m gonna go change real quick before the food’s ready,” I said.
He nodded, “Take your time! The food will be done when you come back.”
And with that, I walked over to my room. I didn’t want to look overly fancy, so I ended up deciding on a nice, dark green crew neck shirt and some light wash jeans. Casual, but still nice.
As for everything else, I just kept it the same. Hair in a low ponytail and little to no makeup. I didn’t want to put in too much work for something that wouldn’t go anywhere after today.
So, with one final once over in the mirror, I headed back to the kitchen. When I was coming up to the kitchen, there was a visible difference from how it was when I left.
The lights were dimmed and when I rounded the corner there was another surprise waiting. Jin. Holding a rose. In the candle light. I smiled and furrowed my eyebrows.
“Okay… When did this happen,” I questioned, pointing at everything on the table.
He walked closer and handed me the rose with a small smile.
“Right when you left.”
I muttered a small “ah” as I took the rose from him and walked over to the table. Just as I was about to pull out my seat, Jin had beat me to it and gestured for me to sit down while pushing in my seat.
“Ever the gentleman, Jin,” I said.
He chuckled. “I would hope so! We are on a date,” he said while bringing the finished pasta to the table.
That’s when I noticed the bouquet of roses.
“You got a bouquet of roses? Did you get these back at the convenience store when you went to get that wine?”
“Smart girl, though the wine was more of a cover for the flowers,” he said as he took a seat across from me.
“And the tealight candles?”
He nodded.
“Did you even get snacks,” I asked.
He furrowed his brow in confusion, “You’re worried about the snacks?!”
“Yes! Snacks are important to me!” He scoffed and shook his head in disbelief.
“Yes, I got snacks.”
I sighed in relief before he continued, “Your favorite, actually.”
It was now my time to be confused.
“Mrs. Cho told me what you liked.”
I lightly shook as I tried to understand what was going on.
“Why did you go to such great lengths for me? With the roses and the candles and the snacks? I mean, we’re not on a real date,” I questioned.
He softly sighed.
“Because maybe I wanted it to be real. Because maybe I’ve really come to like this girl, whose friend set her up with a date she won at an auction. Who's really easy to talk to and is someone I want to go on more dates with so I can get to know her more.”
I couldn’t believe what I heard.
Jin liked me?
He continued, “And maybe I want to keep cooking with her and have random trips to the convenience store because I forgot something and tell her my bad jokes that she rarely laughs at, but I know that she secretly enjoys them.”
I snorted, “I only laughed at one!”
“You still laughed,” he pointed out. I sighed.
“So?”
“So… she sounds like quite the girl.”
He smiled, “Oh, she is.”
I smiled back at him. “So, I’m sure that she would love to keep cooking with you, though I hear that she’s a pretty good cook herself so I’m sure she would love to return the favor by cooking a dish at yours.”
“It’s a date then?”
I nodded.
“But let’s finish this one first, I’m DYING to try this baked ziti,” I exclaimed before he started dishing it out.
“Well then, bon appetite!”

A/N: Hiya! So I think this will be a mini series containing little oneshots of the date Y/n would go on depending on which member you choose, so it'll be a cute interactive fic if you will. Kind of think of the dates like 1D's "Night Changes" MV, but everything goes right, you know? Anyway please stay tuned for each member's date! Hope you enjoy!
“Do we hear 1.2 million?”
The auctioneer asked, looking around the crowd for anyone who would raise their hand to keep the bid going.
After a few moments, he continued, “Alright. 1 million going once. Twice… Sold! To number 7 at the back table! Congratulations on winning your date!”
The crowd politely clapped in congratulations as a staff member walked over to the woman who had just won herself a date. The woman looked up to the staff member in question as they approached with a clipboard.
“Congratulations ma’am! We just need your name and number and we will contact you on what events you would like to partake in with your date.”
The woman nodded, giving the staff member her number.
“As for the name, it’ll be under my friend’s if that’s alright.”
~
There was a sharp knock on my door before the doorbell rang. Hearing that sequence only meant one thing and as I opened the front door… I was right.
“Oh! Hey Hari!”
“Merry Christmas, Y/n,” she exclaimed as she gave me a hug.
I laughed as she let go of me and went to the kitchen island. I closed the door and walked over to the island to join her.
“Thank you for the wishes, but it’s not Christmas.”
“Well then… Happy Birthday,” she cheered.
“It’s not my birthday either,” I shook my head.
“What’s this about, Hari?”
She looked away as she swayed her head from side to side. A guilty smile spread across her face.
“Well… I might've gotten one of the best presents in the history of presents!”
I deadpanned at her. “You did not.”
She nodded vigorously. “Mhmm!”
“Dude, what did you get,” I questioned as I walked over to the fridge to get a drink.
She turned around, “Well, you know how you say how bad you want to go on a date?”
“I’ve never said that in my life,” I said as I looked for something sweet.
The sound of wood scraping the floor indicated that she had pulled out a stool as I continued to dig around for something to drink.
“Well it was BASICALLY implied whenever you’re here alone, wallowing in your sorrows.”
I snorted at the jab.
“A-ha!”
Finally finding the drink I was looking for, I closed the fridge and went over to the cabinet, pulling out two cups for the both of us. I walked over to the island and placed the cups in front of both of us before pouring some of the drink in both cups.
“I have never “wallowed in my sorrows” and I never will when it comes to dating,” I said, picking up my cup and taking a sip.
“Well that doesn’t matter because I got you a date,” she said nonchalantly, taking a sip of her own.
I almost spit out my drink once that sentence left her mouth. I quickly recovered, but not without some coughing.
“Hari! You. Did. Not.”
She nodded. I forcely put my cup on the table.
“Didn’t I tell you that I wasn’t going to go on another blind date you set up,” I exclaimed.
“Well…” she squeaked, drawing the word out which really only meant one thing with her.
“What…”
“I wouldn’t really call it a “blind” date when you already know it is.”
I felt all of the blood rush out of my face. I thought of the worst possible outcomes to that sentence. Was it one of the other blind dates she set me up with that didn’t work? Was it one of our coworkers that had a secret interest in me? Not that that was likely, but it could still happen, you know?
But these were not as bad as what she said when I asked who it was.
“I might’ve gotten you a date with one of the members of BTS…”
“WHAT!?”

Hi again! Sorry for taking forever to respond to your request, finals were a pain! Ugh... Anyway, I hope you're doing well too and thank you for your request! I made Y/n a producer instead of an 8th member because I wasn't sure how to spin it, so hopefully you like it. I also added, kind of like, a bonus scene because I was sad watching that Bangtan Bomb... Anywho, I hope you enjoy it! <3

“Y/n-ah!” The guys collectively exclaimed.
I happily waved at them while softly shutting the door behind me.
“Hi! Sorry I’m late, I was in a meeting when Namjoon texted me about this live,” I said, placing my bag on a chair that was next to the wall of tables.
I walked into frame and waved at the ARMYs watching. “Hi guys! How are you?”
“We’re good,” Jimin said in a high-pitched voice.
I looked back at him.
“Oh, are you the voice of ARMY now,” I teased.
He smiled and nodded his head triumphantly. I giggled and moved over to the couch, but not before grabbing a slice of pizza.
I took a bite of my slice of pizza and plopped down next to Jungkook. They kept talking while I finished up my slice, throwing the crust on the empty pan and dust off the crumbs from my hands.
I looked around at the guys when my eyes landed on Jungkook, who was already looking at me. I leaned forward and narrowed my eyes at him for a moment before leaning back.
I smiled at him, “Why are you staring-”
I didn’t get the chance to finish my sentence when he tackled me into a hug making us fall back.
I hugged him back as I laughed, “Did you seriously wait until I was done with my slice so you could hug me?”
I didn’t get a verbal answer, but when he hugged me tighter, I knew what the answer was.
As the rest of the members got closer to their enlistment date, things had taken a melancholy turn and it affected each one of them, especially Jungkook, even if they didn’t show it.
I knew.
ARMY knew.
But there weren't a whole lot of things we could do in order to make them feel better about leaving.
So as I realized that this impromptu cuddle session wouldn’t be over for a while, I made sure we were both a little more comfortable by moving us to sit against the back of the couch so we wouldn’t be laying down the entire time.
It took a bit for him to get settled in a way that was comfortable for both of us, but he ultimately chose to be a koala. His head was resting on my right shoulder while his arms were tightly wrapped around my torso and his right leg was draped across my own.
There wasn’t much I could do with the way he was holding me, so I just wrapped my right arm around his back in a semi-awkward half hug and rested my left hand on the leg that was draped across me, slowly drawing shapes while I watched the others talk.
It couldn’t have been more than 10 minutes before the guys started to get up to say their “goodbyes” to ARMY. I tried to move to get up, but Jungkook tightened his hold on me as soon as I moved an arm. I sighed knowing it would be a miracle to get him off of me by myself, so I looked over at Jimin, silently asking for his help.
He smiled at my predicament and walked over, grabbing one of Jungkook’s arms and gently tugged, “Come on. We gotta say bye to ARMY.”
“Noooooo,” he drew out as the arm that was around me tightened its grip once more, practically forcing Jimin to pry him off of me.
“Dude, you need to get off of me in order to say bye to ARMY,” I exclaimed as I wiggled my way out of his grasp.
He huffed as we both finally stood up, obviously not liking that our cuddle session was interrupted. I smiled at his pouty face and patted his head as the others were deciding how they wanted to say bye.
Taehyung grabbed the camera, pointing it at Jimin as he said bye to ARMY and ended by bowing slightly.
Tae, then, turned the camera over to Namjoon who also said his final words with a salute, promising to “go and come back safely”.
“Ok, Jk, you can go.”
“No, I’ll end it,” he said while taking off his hood.
The others were quick to oppose the idea.
“Why doesn’t Y/n say her final words and then I go and you can run in front and then we’ll end it.”
There were nods of agreement and when they turned to me I shrugged, nodding in agreement.
“Yeah, I don’t see why not.”
“So, I can end it,” Tae asked and we all nodded.
He was still holding the camera and motioned for me to say my piece. I walked into frame and waved.
“ARMY~ I’ll make sure to go live whenever I can to keep you company before Jin comes back! The guys will be back before you know it! Stay strong,” I said, blowing a kiss to them with both hands before waving ‘bye’.
I looked at Taehyung, “Do you want me to hold the camera for you?”
He shook his head.
“No, Jimin can hold it for me. You, stand over there,” he said as he pointed to the side opposite of where Namjoon and Jungkook were standing.
He continued, “and turn around since you haven’t seen Jk’s hair yet either.”
I huffed, but did what I was told by walking to the left and turning around so I was facing the wall while Jimin took the camera from Tae, so he could say bye.
“You need to run, ok?”
“As soon as you end-”
“Can you guys just go already,” I exclaimed, hoping to move this train along.
Taehyung gave his little speech, though I’ll have to disagree with Namjoon, who said it was “too long” because mine was about the same length.
I heard a lot of shuffling behind me and was about to turn around to see why it was taking so long when a very slurred “We were BTS” sounded through the air before someone collided with my back, making me stumble forward as pair of arms wrapped around me, keeping me from falling.
The guys were laughing at the scene as they said their final “bye’s” before turning off the live.
“You can turn around now,” Jungkook said, loosening his hold on me enough for me to move, but not removing his arms completely.
As I turned around to face him I was not prepared for what I saw. My jaw dropped as I looked at Jungkook’s hair which was now completely buzzed off.
“Woah,” I exclaimed, placing my hands on either side of his head, turning it side to side in order to get a better look.
I started to become confused. Jungkook chuckled, grabbing both of my wrists to stop me from moving his head so he could look at me.
“What’s with that face?”
“How do you still look good?!”
Everyone started laughing again.
~
“I don’t think I’ll ever get used to this.”
It was December 12th and Hobi, Yoongi, and I were currently seeing Jimin and Jungkook off to start their military service.
“Well, luckily, this is the last time we’re going to have to do this,” Yoongi said, stuffing his hand further into his jacket.
I nodded my head in silent agreement and walked over to where Jimin and Jungkook had finished talking with some of their friends. They turned to look at me as I got where they were and grabbed their hands in both of mine, switching my gaze between the two.
“How are you guys feeling,” I asked to try and break the tension that was starting to form as time got closer to when they were supposed to leave.
They both shrugged.
I sighed.
“You’re going to be fine. I talked to Jin this morning and made him promise to keep an eye on you and make sure you’re okay, though… he did say that he might make training a bit harder for you two,” I teased.
That got some chuckles out of them, which I was very happy about. It didn’t last long before the heavy air settled around us once again, so I mustered as much of an encouraging smile as I could and said, “You two are going to do great. I’ll have my phone on me at all times whenever you get phone privileges back and want to talk to me, okay?”
They nodded as I continued, “Stay safe and healthy and warm because it’s starting to get chilly, okay?”
They nodded once more.
I looked at them as they looked at me expectedly.
“What? That’s all I’ve got,” I said.
Jungkook laughed as Jimin shook his head with a smile forming on his face.
Jungkook looked over at Jimin, “Would you mind giving us a sec?”
The latter nodded, “Of course, I’ve gotta go talk with Hobi hyung before send off, so I’ll see you later Y/n.”
I nodded and gave him a tight hug.
“Be careful. Stay safe and make sure to eat. Call me if you need anything and I mean ANYTHING, okay,” I whispered before breaking the hug.
“You got it,” he said before pulling me back in for one last hug.
“I’m gonna miss you, Chim. I’ll see you when you come back.”
We both nodded at each other in conformation as he started toward where Hobi and Yoongi were standing.
I moved to stand next to Jungkook as we watched them talk.
“So, what are you going to do in the meantime,” Jungkook spoke up.
I turned to look at him as he did the same.
“Probably work on some songs for your guys’ comeback with Yoongi. He said that he already has some that he wants me to look at later today, so yeah,” I shrugged.
He hummed in response before pulling me into a hug. I would be lying if I said I didn’t feel like crying at that moment. We had talked about him leaving all the time as the date came closer and every time Jungkook was the one who comforted me when I started crying, but I wanted to be strong for him and at least give him some sense of comfort on the day it really mattered so I controlled my emotions.
“Sorry I have to leave you,” he whispered.
He is not making this easy, huh?
I shook my head and held him tighter, “It is not your fault. Nobody will ever blame you for something you have to do. Especially not me.”
I pulled back and cupped his face in my hands.
“You just need to make sure that you don’t overdo anything. I don’t want to get a call from Jin or Jimin saying that you overdid something that landed you in the infirmary, got it,” I teased as he nodded.
“I love you a lot. We all do. So please make sure to be safe while you’re gone, okay,” I asked.
He huffed but untimely nodded again. “You’re starting to sound like my mom,” he muttered.
I laughed at the statement.
“Good, because she’s right!”
There was some loud shuffling behind me, so I turned around to see Yoongi, Hobi, and Jimin standing in front of us.
“Okay, lovebirds, it’s almost time to go,” Yoongi said.
I playfully rolled my eyes as a smile made its way onto my lips. I turned back to Jungkook and placed a quick peck on his cheek.
“One for the road,” I said as I moved away from him.
“You guys should get going before you’re late,” Hobi spoke up.
They nodded as they fixed their backpack straps and picked up the duffle bag at their feet. I gave them both a once over.
“Take care of each other.”
They hummed as they started to leave. As we were watching them walk away, Jungkook suddenly turned back to us.
“Y/n/n!”
“Yeah?”
“You’ll be here when we get out, right?”
I nodded, “Of course! I’ll be right here when you come back!”

“Hello. This is Jungkook,” he said into the camera.
He turned over to me and I rushed from the corner of my room where I was setting my stuff down, practically jumping into the camera frame.
“And, I’m Y/n,” I exclaimed happily, making Jungkook chuckle.
We were about to head over to Budapest, Hungary, to film a music video for Jungkook’s title track, Standing Next to You. He thought it would be a great time to film some of the process, so… that’s what we’re doing.
I was initially hesitant to film with him when he asked because I wanted it to be all about him and not just a travel vlog among friends, but after the constant pleas and countless puppy dog eyes, I finally agreed to feature.
After my introduction to the camera I went back to sift through my stuff to make sure I haven’t forgotten anything while Jungkook explained what he was making and why he was making it.
Everything was accounted for on my end so I took out my phone and went to sit on the couch while I waited.
“There’s so many things I need to pack! We have an hour before we leave,” he panicked as he started darting around his apartment to gather things to pack into his luggage.
I looked up from my phone, “Kook, this trip has been on your schedule for weeks and I literally reminded you to pack yesterday. What did you do?”
He paused folding a shirt to look at me. “Went live with ARMY,” he said, pulling his lips down into a “frown” like he usually does when he's guilty of something.
I laughed at his silliness, knowing that he didn’t really feel guilty when it came to not doing something because he went live for his fans.
“That was your fault so I’m not gonna help you pack.”
I went back to scrolling through my phone.
He was back to running around his apartment by the time I checked the time and started to gather my bags before calling out, “Hurry up, you have five minutes!”
I placed my bags near the door, then walked over to his desk, grabbing the tripod and moving it to the table near the door.
He rushed out with his bags, placing them next to mine before running back to his room and emerging with a jean jacket in hand.
He came to stand next to me and spoke to the camera while fixing his jacket, “Alright, let’s head out! Let’s go!”
~
“Now boarding for Budapest,” a man said over the PA system.
Jungkook and I gathered our things and headed for the flight attendant’s desk so we could get our tickets verified. When we were given the “all clear” we started for the airplane.
We got on the plane and looked for our seats right away since the managers said they would take care of storing our carry-ons.
“Here we go,” I said as I found our seats.
I shuffled over to the window seat that was located on the left side of the airplane.
I smiled as I looked out at the runway until I heard the sound of lip smacking followed closely with a whine, “Why do you get the window seat?”
I looked over at Jungkook, “Because I got here first.”
He looked like he didn’t like my answer and brought out his ticket and pointed to the number.
“See I’m technically supposed to have the window, “ he said matter-of-factly.
I deadpanned, “Are you seriously using technicalities to get the window seat?”
He nodded.
I sighed, “Fine, but you owe me. Got it?”
He smiled and gave me a little salute. I motioned for him to stand up and get out of the row so we could exchange seats. When we finally sat down, he looked out the window and giggled happily. A smile crept onto my face as I softly scoffed at his reaction.
He turned back to me with a grin, “Thank you!”
I playfully rolled my eyes and dug around my bag, looking for a little go pro Jungkook gave me for the trip.
I turned it on once I found it and made sure it was recording, then I turned it over to him, “Do you have anything to say?”
He looked at the camera, then at me, then back at the camera before saying, “The view from the window seat is amazing!”
I scoffed as I punched his arm, to which he laughed at and held where I hit him.
I positioned the camera so we were both in frame.
“Yeah, the window seat that you stole from me,” I exclaimed.
We slowly looked at each other. We made eye contact for a moment before we burst out into laughter.
“I get the window seat on the way back, okay?” I held out my pinky to him.
He linked his pinky with mine, “Promise.”
I turned off the camera as the flight attendants started to go through the standard procedures if anything were to happen during the flight.
A few moments after they were done, the seatbelt light was turned on and the plane started to move toward the end of the runway, preparing to take off.
Although I had been on countless plane rides because of my job, the moments before take-off never failed to make me a little nervous. I was lost in thought until I felt a finger poke my arm.
I turned to Jungkook, “Hm?”
“I asked if you were okay.”
“Oh! Yeah I’m fine,” I said.
He squinted his eyes at me.
“You’re nervous, aren’t you?”
Confusion creeped onto my face. “How’d you know that?”
“Because you always fiddle with your bottom lip when you’re nervous,” he said as he pointed to my hand that was currently playing with said bottom lip.
I immediately took my hand away, letting it fall on my lap.
“Here,” he said, holding his right hand out for me to take.
“Thanks, Kook,” I said as I placed my hand in his.
As the plane started to take off, I turned his hand over so the tattoos faced me and started to gently trace over his ARMY tattoo in order to calm myself down.
“Anytime Y/n/n, “ he whispered.
~
“Y/n,” Jungkook drawed out, “Come with me to the gym.”
He was tugging on my arm, trying to get me off my bed and out of the hotel room.
“No,” I whined. “Why can’t you just go by yourself? I wanna laze around before tomorrow.”
“Because I need someone to record me,” he whined back, tugging harder.
“Dude, just bring your tripod! You don’t need me!”
I tugged my arm back and rolled over on the bed trying to get away from him. I didn’t do a very good job because he rounded the bed and met me at the other end. I stared up at him, unimpressed.
“Because I want to have someone to talk to,” he said, grabbing my hands and tugging me to sit up.
“Please,” he said, giving me his puppy dog eyes.
I narrowed my eyes for a moment before I turned away and sighed. “Fine.”
I got up from bed and made my way to the door where our shoes were. I slipped on my shoes while Jungkook held the door open. He handed me the camera when we stepped out of the room.
“You’ve gotta stop using your puppy dog eyes to get me to do things.” He laughed, “Well if it works, why would I stop?” I sighed. “You’re right…”
To say that I was bored is an understatement. Jungkook had been on the elliptical for about 45 minutes and I wanted nothing more than to go back to my room.
I stood up, grabbed the camera that was sitting next to me and walked over to where Jungkook was.
I held the camera up to record him.
“I’m tired,” he said breathlessly.
“And I’m bored. How much longer are you going to work out for,” I said, moving my head to the side away from the camera so he could see me.
“Gimme a sec.” He clicked some buttons on the elliptical before slowing down and hopping off.
He grabbed a towel and sat on the ground. I watched as he closed his eyes and sank down to lay on the floor. I smiled as I rolled my eyes at his overreaction and stood on top of him with the camera.
“Don’t overdo your workout… Or else you’ll be in trouble… Okay?”
I moved the camera very close to his face, almost bumping his nose. He opened his eyes and moved the camera to the side while a smile made its way on his face.
I laughed and stepped over him as he started to roll over to get up.
“Come on Muscle Bunny, you gotta get some rest before your shoot tomorrow.”
He looked up at me as I extended my hand to help him up.
“Okay,” he said as he took my hand.
“And go take a shower. You’re super sweaty,” I said, taking my hand back and drying it on my pants.
A smirk made its way on his lips before he lunged himself at me, wrapping me in his arms. I scrunched my face, trying to push him away from me before any more of his sweat could get on me.
“Stop! You’re hot and sweaty!”
“Yeah, but you still love me!”
~
“Who wakes up this early,” I yawned.
We arrived at the set of the Standing Next to You music video and were now in the hair and make-up trailer. I held up the camera to keep myself busy so I wouldn’t doze off. I looked at Jungkook who looked like he was dozing off too.
“Apparently not you. You still look half asleep,” I told him. He sleepily chuckled at my statement.
It didn’t take as long as I thought for make-up to be done, so when Jungkook changed into his first outfit, we were ready to head out. This was the first location that we would be shooting in, the tunnel, as I like to call it.
We were coming up to where the crew and other dancers were currently at when Jungkook turned to look at me.
“Are you recording?”
I nodded.
“Okay, watch this,” he said before he happily skipped away. I laughed at his silliness.
When we got to where the crew was, the director started telling Jungkook will be doing. Just walk forward.
“All I have to do is walk through it? What more is there to life,"he wondered.
“Life is about moving forward,” I said.
“Life is about moving forward,” he repeated, giving my hand that was holding the camera a little fist bump.
He started to record and it was really cool to watch the monitor versus just watching him perform regularly. Not saying that he wasn’t cool regardless if he was on camera or not, but you get what I mean.
The day went by smoothly. He completed filming for the regular music video then changed outfits for the choreography version. It was safe to say that he was tired by the end of the day.
We shot at two other locations over the next few days. The second location was mainly for the big dance break and some other non-dance scenes.
And that leads us to today. I wasn’t even sure what to call this place when I first stepped foot in the building. Turns out that it’s an abandoned power station.
Huh, cool.
I was sitting in one of the chairs scrolling through my phone just waiting for Jungkook to get back from wardrobe because he said had a “surprise” for me.
I couldn’t have been waiting for more than 5 minutes before I heard my name being called.
I looked in that direction to find Jungkook walking toward me. I almost knocked over the chair I was sitting on with how fast I got up. I rushed to Jungkook, who was wearing a black pinstripe suit with dark wings on his back.
“Cool, right?”
I was in awe. “This is insane, Kookie!”
I circled around him to see the full ensemble.
“Are they attached to the jacket itself,” I asked, curiously looking at where the wings attached to the back of the jacket.
“Mhmm,” he nodded triumphantly.
I moved to stand in front of him, still in awe of the wings.
“You are seriously the coolest person I know,” I said, looking between the wings and his face.
“I know.” He smiled down at me.
We stood there, unmoving, for a moment before the director called him over to start filming.
As he started to walk away I called his name, making him turn his head toward me.
“Knock ‘em dead, Kook!”
~
“I’m just saying, that feast was well deserved. I have been longing for grilled meat since the first meal I had. Why does everything have to be so healthy here?”
Jungkook chuckled, “I know how you feel.”
We walked out of the elevator as we headed toward our hotel room.
Once unlocked, we went inside, took off our shoes by the door, then I quickly plopped down on my bed ready to sleep off this very delicious meal.
Jungkook sat on his bed with his back resting on the headboard as he scrolled through his phone.
I grabbed one of my extra pillows, hugging it tightly, ready to happily doze off before Jungkook decided to speak up.
“Y/n/n?”
I hummed to let him know that I was still awake.
“What would you do if I asked you out?”
I opened my eyes, but I didn’t move from my position facing the wall.
I hummed in thought before answering, “I would probably say that you’re drunk.”
“I didn’t drink that much.”
“Then I would say that you’re crazy.”
He playfully scoffed at my answer. Figuring that I wouldn’t be getting out of this conversation anytime soon, I sat up and turned to face him while crossing my legs for some comfort.
“What would you really say, Y/n?”
“I don’t know. Are you really asking me out, Jungkook,” I asked, tilting my head to the side.
He mirrored me by moving to sit across from me, crossing his legs.
“Maybe~”
“Then maybe,” I said as I leaned on my arms behind me.
“Y/n/n, all you have to say is yes or no.”
I smiled as I softly sang, “Say yes or no. Yes or no. Yes or no~”
He chuckled, crossing his arms.
“You know,” he started, “I wrote that about you.”
My eyes shot up to meet his as I furrowed my brows in confusion.
“Wha- really?!”
He nodded as he played with his lip ring. “You always thought it was sweet to confess through a song. That song is my confession to you.”
“I do always say that. But here I thought that I was more of a Standing Next to You kind of person,” I huffed.
He chuckled at my comment and I smiled at him.
“So about me asking you out…” he trailed off.
I stood up and walked over to his bed to sit with him. I gently held his hand in mine as I looked up at him with a soft smile.
“I say 'yes'.”
He beamed at me with that smile I loved so much.
“But I still get the window seat on the way back home,” I said seriously.
He laughed and took me into a hug.
“As long as I get to be by you, you can have all the window seats you want.”
