For a few hours, I wandered patiently, advanced from tree to tree in awe. This place was hardly just a grove, felt more like a gathering of souls, resting hidden among misty mountains. The soft whispering of the branches, the murmur of the giants was impossible to overhear. In thick fog, along countless rain showers and guests of wind, I photographed until I finally was soaked, not different to the trees around. We both defended ourselves against wind and time – them, forever; and me, just for the moment. At times, I meant to hear voices, but saw no soul at all. Some of those trees seemed to be the most beautiful and surreal creatures I have ever came close to. After a while, no matter how carefully I’d wandered and how quietly I’d breathed, I realized it to be a different world. Me, for sure a foreigner, maybe even an intruder. Therefore, I retreated, and went from one to the other world. I only left behind, the mystery of who it was that went in there. Without a doubt, I had become someone else.

Mantras and Affirmations That You Should Consider against Anxiety or Before Sleep
Why Sleep Mantras Work
There are several factors at play when it comes to meditation and sleep. One of the reasons that meditation helps you fall asleep is the impact it has on your melatonin levels. Melatonin is your body’s natural sleep hormone, which helps regulate your internal body clock.
While external stimuli like light exposure can affect your melatonin levels, stress also plays a part in how much of this chemical your body produces. When you practice mindfulness and reduce stress, studies have shown that melatonin levels increase.
Much like the age-old technique of counting sheep, repeating a phrase helps keep your thoughts focused on the present. Another recent study has shown that repetition helps reduce activity in the cerebral cortex, creating a calming effect. While only thinking of the mantra, you’re less likely to remain tense physically, or worry about things that keep you up.
In addition, mantras don’t keep your mind busy like counting sheep does. Instead, they help you focus on positive emotions like peace and tranquility.
How to Use Sleep Mantras
Rather than staring at your ceiling, counting sheep, or hopping back on your phone — use a mantra to clear your mind. Pick one that speaks to you and inspires calm.
Then repeat the words over and over in your head to keep yourself from straying into thoughts that may keep you up. Focus as much of your attention on the phrase as you can, though you may also need to focus on your breathing to keep your thoughts totally focused.

Designer Peter Stulz and his 3D illustration studio Xoio conceived this autonomous overnight travel concept vehicle which can drive passengers on its own while they’re sleeping inside the hotel-like cabin.
For the design team, Swift Pod can be booked like a normal taxi using an app – along with the desired time and place, or even pre-reserved for a specific date.
Once the autonomous overnight travel pod arrives, passengers board inside, and the vehicle autonomously calculates the optimal route and required speed to reach the destination in time.
