first monthish of med school made me think about my priorities so much. like yes studying is a priority but also I really have to make sure I’m taking care of myself!! I felt like I fell into my old undergrad habits of putting off seeing friends & family / not enjoying meals / not setting study boundaries, but my long time partner who’s been in grad school for a couple years now really helped me feel comfortable in the change and reminded me who I am outside of studying for an exam 🫶🥹

A good day, pretty slow and comfortable. I did the easiest math chapters and had fun doing it. Its so cold that I genuinely studied from under my blankets the whole day, it was super cozy that way and I very well know that if I was to sit in the cold at my desk I would not be studying for as many hours. I also watched Kanan Gill's comedy special on youtube, "Is This It?" that man is a genius with his words I love him. It would have been a perfect day had I studied at night as well but I didn't because I spent too long texting a friend that I hadn't spoken with for a long time, and by then it was too late for me to start a study session. I should've wrapped that up quicker and studied at night but it is what it is. That's about it, nothing special about today just a soft nice day.

The first exams just passed!

Heyaa!! I'm writing this on my way home, 1h past my first exam!

Biology went really well! I think I'll score enough not to worry about it! I was the person who chose the test version 😁

Chemistry was not tough at all, it's just me who's a little dummie and didn't revise enough lol But it's okay, I'm feeling great and I'm more than motivated to rock my upcoming exam on the 20th of April!

P.S the results are expected by April 30 so I'll update!

I'll have a nice rest when I get back home and on Monday I continue the hustle ✨️��️
