With my reflective vest on and flashlight headlamp, just before turning the corner these beautiful, bright yellow sunflowers caught my eye...beauty in the darkness. ⁣ 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻⁣ How many times have we been in our own version of darkness. I don't know about you ~but I have had a whack - a - mole week. ⁣ ⁣ From Jazzi's illness to being super busy at work, to fighting headaches, to still having to work on/complete my taxes (they're a mess this year) to going online to pay my "deductible" at the health system last night & it saying that I have a $3000+ bill!! (Whaaaaat!?????!!!!???!?)⁣ ⁣ This was a great devotion to remind me to still be grateful in whatever I have going on. There's ALWAYS going to be SOMETHING going on and I know that whatever seems super hopeless now, could all change in an instant~for better OR worse!⁣ ⁣ I am grateful for this moment because I really do know how blessed I am for all that I DO have. BECAUSE I have an awesome dog I get stressed that she's sick~⁣ BECAUSE I am blessed enough with a great job that is essential during covid I GET to keep working and be super busy, ⁣ BECAUSE I have an income I get to pay taxes and ⁣ BECAUSE I have access to readily available health care I have a large bill that I was unprepared for!
