So we left Canggu and the Indian Ocean behind, and drove for nearly two hours to the village Sidemen. We paid 550k, which the driver thought was a very reasonable price. We'll find out on our way back what the next reasonable price will be. While we arrived in Sideman it was raining, now however it stopped. Last night we planned a morning trip of 2 hrs through the Sidemen ricefields. This didn't happen because of me freaking out 12 times after being under attack (it didn't stop jumping at the window) of a 30cm XXL gecko (extra fries) in our bungalow and the knowledge that there will be 🕷🕷 & 🐍🐍 as big/bigger than that in the ricefields 🙄. So instead of leaving around 11 am, we already got a ride at 9 to uluwatu - bingin beach area. No gecko's on acid here, just an amazing beach.
