Stray stars: Beginner friendly

I'm starting to dabble into more backgrounds, buildings, and building.

1.)A tender moment shared, Aster awakes to see the small form of jasmine resting silently beside him. In the filtered morning light, he feels warmed by the sight. Aster isn’t exactly known for being a soft and caring type. Honestly having a youngling cling to him is a different type of experience for him. He’s actually rather conflicted about it but is interested to see what becomes of the young one. It is in these hours that a mentor has the time to prepare mentally for the day, it is within these hours that he once shared with his mate in silence, that he now contemplates the young dragon's future, as well as plans for the day. 2.) After the morning routine, training begins. As a dreamweaver it is part of jasmine’s training to pick up on multiple methods of weaving to figure out her preferred style. This will become the basis of her training and the building blocks for her magic use later. Aster has been making sure to refamiliarize himself with beginner methods beforehand so he can be as accurate as possible in instructing her. Vharri is however not interested in learning anything from the dreamweavers. Not that Aster doesn’t try and offer her the lesson as well. He's not the type to force this sorta thing, but he won’t let her interrupt Jasmine's lesson. Vharri still tries. 3.) Vharri gets shooed since Aster can tell, she is not enjoying the lesson. Finding Ceda with his assistant Marble, reading over some things. Vharri still finds it weird he reads with his paws covering everything.

Another character coming to you from my partner Lady-Moosh it's her patreon reward Name: Ordain Gender: Masculine Guild: Valor guard Job: Commander Personality: Ordain, also known by friends as Odo, is a King Sound dragon with the valor guard. He is a stern and heavily emotionally reserved male who focuses heavily into his work. Not many find it easy to get along with the grouchier personality he has as he is also very willing to use his stature and status to intimidate those around him who are getting into trouble. While a very imposing male, he has a soft spot for young dragons interested in becoming a part of the valor guard. While older dragons have him irritated, he sees potential and charm in the youth and wants to see them go places. In his alone time or with friends, he's a calmer dragon and can warm up and be friendlier but needs some time to reach that. Species Description: Meet the Six-eared Banshee, a species of king dragon known in another time for eating other dragons. Having one of the loudest natural roars, their roars are powerful enough to disable or even kill a target from 60ft away. This roar requires that they take in a lot of air swelling their throats to double their normal size. These dragons tend to be large with dark tops and light bellies. Their name sake is in the bright six frill like ears on their head and the matching tail. These ears help them pick up the sound of prey of all types from rather large distances away and through harsh weather. Their "ears" being able to negate all sound when pulled back. Making the dragon essentially deaf in this state, but protects it's hearing. They have preference for coastal locations with high humidity, high winds, and cliffs.

Another character coming to you from my partner Lady-Moosh Name: Marble Gender: Feminine Guild: Academicians Job: Disability support worker Species: Lesser Warpjaw Personality : Don't let this size fool you, Marble has a big personality! Serving as a Disability support worker, having a big voice is very important for the small Warpjaw, so she is all about projecting her voice so everyone can hear. This works well as her job is to lead the blind. Marble is a kind soul and cares a lot for everyone around her but that doesn't stop her from being blunt and snappy when she needs to speak up to get someone's attention to focus on her and what she needs done. Marble can also be a bit overbearing at times, hovering over those who are injured or sick and trying to stay on top of everything to ensure they get better. A bit suffocating but she means well! She can be easy to make friends with but in the long run, making a deep connection with her is a bit more difficult as she walls herself off when people try to get too involved with her personal life that she hasn't let in.

Her main client is Ceda. However, Ceda and his pod treat her like family.

Blitzblotch 2022 Art summary

Year 2022- Year of the tiger I did hit my goal of getting to 100 pages and finishing chapter 2. However now, i have to re-write the next chapters(I went really off script) so. In the mean time, I will be doing little skits for some of the other dragons I've been posting over the years. I've been wanting to anyways. However my original content is as viable as my fan content now. Even if i haven't been pushing hard to get paid and i really should be. I did take the time to socialize more, but i think I pushed myself to far and ended up trying to become friends with people that i doubt are talking to me in good faith. I did however find a few god friends and good servers I love being in. And i did about no streaming. It's because i have moved to ipad and it's a bit wonky about it. We are even helping a couple people get onto their feet and ready for the real world. So that will be interesting. plans for Year 2023- year of the rabbit Redraw the first (at least )10 pages of the comic Keep my job- as normal Continue working on dragon content and expanding the world Actually advertise my commissions (become rich so i can commission people and draw all the time) or continue saving. Stray stars: Valor morning routine

Despite having small beds of their own, the girls are still young enough to be allowed to comfortably climb on their guardians. Sometimes, this is a response to a new environment, other times it’s because of a large warm fire dragon. However, this is often seen as a positive as the proximity to their guardian normally helps reduce stress to a youngling. While Valorguard are encouraged to be very early starts, Dreamweavers often wake up at a slower pace and Vhaari is not old enough to value when others want to sleep longer. Luckily, Ceda is big enough to wrangle her up before she was able to dive bomb Aster in the side... a lot. Ceda being happy to distract her while he gets ready to go out with her. Encouraging her to try on her new uniform. Planning to keep her active and busy. Young fire dragons tend to be a little rambunctious and it will get worse as her flame organs develop. Name: Alain Gender: Male Guild: Academian Class- Water - King Abyssal light Job: Sedation expert- magical and medical Description: This large water dragon is known for living in dark underwater conditions, some deep, some in caves, and areas with black sands. However, these dragons are considered extremely dangerous due to their habit of attracting creatures to them in the darkness and attacking. Most water dragons have a natural urge to fear them. They have thick blubbery hides that are hard to bite through, a large unhinging jaw, tendril like feelers, and bioluminescent stripes. One needs to be wary of the stripes glow as they can easily lull creatures into a trance if stared at for long periods. They also flash them when they get excited and are highly curious and intelligent even for dragons. This dragon is actually considered rather rare, being an a king species.

Stray stars: Weavers basket

1.Upon accepting a dreamweaver, the first right of passage is to allow the trainee to pick out their first weaver basket. These first baskets are made by dragons graduating from the weaver course and are free for trainees. They are worn down easily as they are deliberately not made of the sturdiest materials and its deterioration is a sign for the mentor to start teaching and working with their younglings to help build a sturdier basket and learn repair techniques; Allowing the old basket to deteriorate into the soil of the old one, wasting as little material as possible 2. Weaver baskets will be the first responsibility of the trainee; Being tasked with setting up the basket as well as taking care of beginner plants provided by their mentor and its repairs, this is an allocated space where weavers can cultivate ingredients that they use for their craft or a space for them to sit and relax. Sometimes certain creatures are also kept in these spaces. 3.While it is Jasmine’s job to do her own decorations to make herself comfortable and confident in controlling her space, she can get a helping hand from her guardian. Aster understands how important it is to bond with his pupil and nurture her confidence and abilities. He however is not very chatty and does that this might become a problem…later.

Weaver baskets are allocated spaces for Dreamweaver to grow and cultivate ingredients they need for their craft. Sometimes creatures are kept here as well. Oftentimes you can find the Dreamweaver sleeping here. Plants are not the only things grown in these spaces as sometimes weavers will create room sized spaces for themselves.
