Evening has been the favourite part of my day since i was a kid. It's that precious moment which allows us to pause for a little and head back home. It's that time when everyone's relaxed with no worries of what's gonna happen next. It's that time when you can sit back silently and just watch the humans being humans in the most serene ways. You can feel the love as the sun melts down in the half orange half purple sky and let the moon begin his inherent romance with the dark sky.

Half burnt cigarettes and ashes on the ground

I looked at him through the half broken wine glass

A blood stain was still fresh on the rim.

I stood up as a drop of blood rolled down my forehead,

Visions blurry, there's dizziness in my head

I looked at him with half open eyes.

There he was lying perfectly fine,

Fresh like morning breeze and smelling like ferity.

With blood stained hands hanging down the sofa,

I moved closer to him, my heart aches,

Every step I took reminded of the memory we made.

How we hang up the christmas lights and put on a tree.

How we made pancakes and love.

How he once said he can never hurt me!

Shame he never meant all that, shame I never understood that.

I saw my arms with bruises and scratches,

The forehead with deepest cut.

I sat next to him touched his face, he is not breathing now,

He's been shot!

"Someone killed him" I told the cops after washing my rented gun twice in alcohol.

"Do you have any suspect?" They asked.

I nodded and said maybe 'Infidelity'.
