more than lovers, less than friends

dabi x reader
summary: letting go of dabi was harder than you thought, especially when you think he is the one that fills your emptiness
a/n: not proofread:/
—————————————————————————
it was pouring outside. there was thunder and everything about today was just going wrong for you. you shouldn’t have been left alone with your thoughts, because that always ended up with you staying up all night, not knowing if living was actually worth it.
you looked up at your ceiling while you were laying on your bed, under the covers. the moonlight shone inside and the shadow of the raindroplets kept you staring at the ceiling. with every thunder you flinched a little. you had no good experience with thunder and didn’t enjoy even a bit of it. till a point it even scared you sometimes.
unconsciously your had went to you phone and without really knowing why you texted that one person that was able to calm you down. you had promised not to text him again or to reach out to him, but you were still figuring out so much about yourself and life that being alone was the last thing you needed. so you texted him.
“hey, Tou, you awake?”
you knew he was awake, he didn’t sleep. or at least you never saw him do. he’d be at your place a lot of the time, but the closest thing you had seen of him sleeping was him sitting next to you with his eyes closed. or how he would like to call it “resting his eyes”. you didn’t expect an answer back this quickly, but the ringing sound coming from your phone made you look at your screen within milliseconds.
“yeah, I’m awake. you need anything?”
you tapped the corners of you phone slightly and chewed the inside of your cheeks, thinking about something to talk to with him, without sounding pathetically scared.
“just wondering how you were doing.”
“you missed me that much? bold coming from the person that’s been ignoring me for the past two weeks.”
you felt your face heat up. you had indeed been ignoring him, thinking about how it should be positively effecting you. but it didn’t.
“it’s pretty bad outside isn’t it?”
you ignored his message, not wanting to explain why you did what you did. it’d be too much of a hassle to explain it to him, especially when you knew he didn’t even care. so you just changed the topic.
“yes and?”
you were taken aback by that. you knew he didn’t care much about the world and how it rolled. you just thought that maybe he’d catch on about the fact that you weren't really doing fine. You wanted him to notice, but you didn’t want to look pitiful. all you needed was a little bit of company, someone telling you you’d be okay, someone by your side to care for you. but maybe dabi wasn’t the right person for that.
“nothing really, just sharing the obvious.”
you started to regret texting him. perhaps you had pissed him off by ignoring him till now, but then again he wasn’t one to really care about stuff like that. he was the kind of person to just enjoy the moment and if you happen to be there with him he’ll enjoy it with you. but he wasn’t one to run after people or get mad about not being in touch.
you heard a click sound coming from your front door. you were sure you had locked it so you assumed someone tried to come in. your first thought went to dabi.
“you tryna get in the house or something?”
“me? im not at your place.”
your heart started to beat heavily in your chest. your breathing became unstable and you felt your hands slightly trembling. you clenched your phone in your hands as you closed your eyes. if it wasn’t Tou it was probably just the wind that knocked something over. you tried to convince yourself that it wasn’t anything bad. and even if it was a person, you told yourself you locked the door over and over, trying to assure yourself that nothing was going to happen. but when you heard a loud bang coming you couldn't help but jump up.
“uh, Tou, is it alright if I text you back in a minute?”
it’s not like he was waiting for any kind of response from you or any kind of assurance that you were going to text him back. because he simply didn’t care.
“what's up?”
you were surprised that he even texted you back and that he even acted like he cared. you didn’t respond and stepped out of your bed slowly. you knew that checking what the sound is wasn’t one of the smartest things to do. but something inside of you made sure you moved automatically. you walked to your bedroom door and placed your hand on the handle.
your phone made a sounds again and before opening the door your eyes darted to your screen.
“answer me.”
but before you could even open the message you heard the banging sound again, making you jump slightly. you stepped outside of your room and slowly walked to the corridor, taking your time because the fear inside of you was building up. you kept hearing small noises, lock picking, door clicking, doorknob turning. you were trying to stabilize your breathing and walked up to the front door, trying to hear what was happening there. you ignored all the sounds coming from your phone and suddenly you heard one last loud bang before it went silent. it was silent for a a while and you jumped slightly when you heard a small knock on your door. you took a step back placing your hand over your heart and clutching you shirt.
you didn’t dare to open so you looked at your phone to see if you could call someone for help. you saw several messages.
“hello?”
“did something happen?”
“answer me?”
3 missed calls.
you texted dabi back.
“I think there is someone outside.”
your hands were trembling, but the response was quite unexpected to say the least.
“it’s pretty cold outside, so it would be nice if you actually opened the door now.”
you stared at your phone for a second, trying to process what he had just written. you blinked once, twice, multiple times before slowly placing your hand on the doorknob. you twisted it and indeed there he stood. Touya, or the well know dabi. totally soaked because of the rain and black hair slightly turning white because the water had washed it out. His arm was resting against the wall at face height. he was looking down but the second you had opened the door his eyes moved up to meet yours. you didn’t say a thing and stood there looking at him, dazed. your eyes darted to the ground next to him. a person laying there, not moving at all. and when you looked up at dabi he had a smug smile plastered on his face.
“not gonna invite me in”, he said while pushing his weight off of the wall and walking past you. while passing you he held your hand and pulled you with him. you had just enough time to close the door and lock it before he had you pulling you with him to your bedroom.
“what happened outside”, you said, finally able to say a word.
“you didn’t answer me so I assumed something was actually wrong. assumptions were confirmed”, he answered as he sat you down on the bed while he walked to the closet and took out a towel do dry himself.
what you didn’t expect was for him to get undressed right in front of you. but that was exactly what he was doing. stripping down from his clothing to only leave himself in his boxers. you didn’t even dare to look and lowered your gaze to your hands that were fiddling with the ends of your shirt.
he was enjoying this, a smirk had formed on his face and he didn’t really have any intention of stopping what he was doing.
you weren’t normally this taken aback when he did stuff like this, but after everything that happened just now you weren’t quite sure how to act anymore. he showed a side of himself that wasn’t really known to you. you had heard of him being quite the violent person, but you never saw it with your own two eyes, until now. the sight of the person laying on the ground bugged you.
you suddenly raised from the bed and looked him straight in the eyes. “I'm gonna check up on the person outside.”
you wanted to walk away before he could say anything and you partly succeeded, but he stopped you the second you placed your hands on the doorknob of your bedroom. you felt his presence right behind you. he had placed his hands on top of yours to stop you from opening the door and his face was disturbingly close to your neck and you could feel his uneven breath against your skin. you could smell the rain mixed with his natural smell and for a second you closed your eyes to take in how the mixture smelled like home. you suddenly forgot why you were standing there and the only thing on your mind was how his touch felt so intoxicating that everything just washed out of your brain and made place for only him.
his other arm wrapped around you and he brought his face closer to your neck and planted kisses all over it, painfully slow. as it was a habit, you automatically pushed your head to the side, exposing your bare neck completely to him. “I should really, uh-”, you said while breathing heavily not even knowing what words were supposed to come out of you. “checking up on-”, you exhaled loudly when he bit down on your skin, making sure it left a mark.
he turned you around and searched your face. you didn’t how to feel and the adrenaline was rushing through your whole body and your face was probably a bright shade of pink. “just how much do you actually want me”, he said with a smirk, but you were so lost in all of the emotions you were feeling right that moment that you couldn’t even answer. so in response you just placed your hands around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss.
you let his touch drown you as you sunk in his embrace. the way he touched you and kissed you felt like a mixture of rush and softness at the same time. combining lust and care in one. the both of you knew you wanted each other more and more with every passing moment together.
suddenly the man outside was a lost memory and a concern for the aftermath. the only thing that mattered at that moment was the way you felt each other and the way you drunk each other. the way you both communicated without using words and the way you filled the empty holes together.
you weren’t sure what exactly was happening between the two of you. were you friend? lovers? in between? no one knew, not even him. but what both of you knew was that no matter how much you wanted to push each other away you always found your way back to each other. because in some kind of fucked up way, you completed each other and filled each other’s emptiness. perhaps you were more than lovers but maybe at the same time even less than friends.

[2:23 p.m]
You were on top of Dabi, legs dangling down from his waist as you were slowly but steadily bringing the tattoo gun closer to his chest. He didn’t even flinch when the needle repeatedly abused his skin and the only thing he did was rest his hands on your thigh as you were working your way down his chest to complete the lines.
You were by no means an official tattoo artist, but you wouldn’t say you were bad at it. Dabi didn’t seem to care much about your experience with the gun in your hand. He trusted you and as cocky as it may sound, you knew you were to be trusted.
He wasn't particularly hiding it, because you felt his eye bore a hole through you as you continued the art work on his chest. His gaze didn’t leave you for even a minute, for two hours straight he watched you poke the ink in his skin.
His hands were caressing your thighs and as much as you tried to hold yourself together, you couldn’t fight the urge of wanting to be closer to him at that moment. You wanted to feel more of him and as needy as it may sound you just couldn’t help the aching feeling of wanting him then and there.
Apparently he felt the same because before you could finish up the tattoo he stopped your movements and took the tattoo machine out of your hand and without losing any time he threw it wherever he could and pressed your body against his as his eyes didn’t leave you for a second.
A smirk formed on your face as you saw just how needy he actually was. I was funny to see him this way and teasing him felt like the best solutions. He’d always have the upper hand in these situation, but right now you had a chance.
You placed your fingertip under his chin and lightly pushed it up, inching closer. “Just how much do you actually want me, kitten”, you said smugly.
He smirked and you saw his tongue pushing the inside of his mouth. For the first time he moved his gaze away from you and exhaled loud and painfully and bit his lip hard. He wanted you so badly right now, you even felt his hands heat up against your bare thighs while he was breathing unsteadily. But you were not about to give in just yet. Because seeing him struggle like this was just as enjoyable as any other thing.
His eyes landed back on yours and his smirk was still plastered on his face. He didn’t feel the need to hide just how much he wanted you. “Keep on going like this and I'll make sure you beg for me”, he said in a whisper as he inched closer.
“Make me”, you whispered back at him as you inched even closer to him, your lips barely touching. “Cuz that would be quite the show.”

All You Really Needed

Gojo Satoru x reader
Warnings: contains a spoiler of one of the first few episodes.. the summary also contains that spoiler so be wary!!
Summary: after the death of Itadori Yuuji, Gojo finally let’s go of his strong posture and breaks down in front of you. (I suck at descriptions I know T_T)
A/N: I apologise for any mistakes,, this was not proofread plus I am sleep deprived 99% of the time so I have no clue what im writing lmao. Anyways ENJOY!
——————————————————————————
Gojo wasn’t one that opened up about his feelings or emotions, whereas you were the complete opposite of that. your days together were mostly filled with you rambling about your days teaching the first years at Kyoto Jujutsu High. You loved your students, but it was a tiring job to train them constantly.
Gojo never seemed to complain about his work or students and he didn’t really seem to take his job seriously, yet he always pulled it off. He talked about his so called dream to change the jujutsu world when in reality that wouldn’t be as simple as he thought it was. Even for the strongest shaman, this is a job that was almost impossible to accomplish alone. But as much as Gojo had confidence in himself, you believed he’d get far. Because whatever he wants always comes his way.
For example: you.
You and Gojo were actually classmates throughout high school, but nothing really happened between you back then. Being in a class of 4 didn’t really help with getting you two closer. It would be you and your friend and he with his. It wasn't rivalry or hatred, but rather a situation of seeing each other but ignoring each other’s presence. Your personalities just didn't match, or at least that’s what the both of you had convinced yourself to believe.
It wasn't until both of you actually became teachers that you grew closer to each other and that’s also when you realized he wasn’t as bad as you thought he was. Yes he was quite the clown, but in reality he was a very caring person.
The first years of your teaching career had been a constant loop of Gojo trying his best to get closer to you. His personality hadn’t changed much, but in whole  honesty there wasn’t much different in yours either. The only difference was, that the both of you had finally become adults.
You liked Gojo, but telling him that back then would be like giving in on his constant confessions that you rejected as if it was a daily routine. Sooner or later you gave in, not being able to resist him. He knew you would fall for him, because he always gets his way.
You had been together for a long while now and even though you didn’t actually live together it was as good as if he lived with you. Both of you had an own place to stay at, but given the circumstances you always were together. With the whole Yuuji situation the teachers and higher ups didn’t really have a choice but to be together constantly. Stuff had to be talked about and for Gojo his students’ safety was his number one priority. Even though yuuji had brought this all on himself, Gojo had no intentions of letting him die any time soon. If they let him, he wouldn’t even let him die.
He always looked as if he was having the time of his life, but you knew him longer than today and sometimes his masked slipped. He didn’t deepen the conversation when you pointed it out, but he was already happy to have you by his side. He didn’t need words to comfort him, but even if he didn’t it felt as if you didn’t do much for him. You wanted to show him that you cared for him and that you would listen to him if he needed to vent.
He didn’t show, but the whole Yuuji situation messed with his head. The higher up scheming Yuuji’s death and Gojo constantly running behind his back to make sure Yuuji is safe. It tired him. He always said he was okey and gave you kiss on top of your head. It was a constant routine, but you noticed. You noticed how he’d fall asleep the second he arrived home and how he let his weight fall on you when you hugged him. You didn’t say anything because you didn’t want him to feel pressured. But you desperately hoped he would talk to you because the both of you knew that would be a big relief for him.
You went home earlier than usual. The students had begged you for a day off, but just randomly giving them a break was not the best option in these hectic days. They had to train, they had to get stronger. So you made a deal. If they caught you, you’d give them free the rest of the day. Of course they failed, but you saw great accomplishments so you agreed on giving them free for the rest of the day. They were also tired, you could tell. But you didn’t want them to get hurt because you weren’t able to teach them properly.
You sighed as you dropped your weight on the couch. You let your head fall back and looked at the ceiling. Your eyes darted to the clock on the wall. About an hour from now Gojo should be home. You could already tell how he’d be when he got home. His sleep deprived posture walking inside as he slumped on the bed. You felt bad to see him like that.
You were surprised to hear the door open and when you turned your head you say Gojo walking inside with his blindfolds in his hand. His hair was wet and he was supporting himself against the wall. You noticed this wasn't like normal, but before you could even walk up to him he had left to the bedroom and slammed the door shut. You knew it wasn’t directed you so you immediately knew something was wrong.
You raised from the couch and made your way to the bedroom. You knocked once and walked inside. “Hey, Satoru”, you said silently.
He was laying on his back on the bed, his feet touching the ground. You walked up to him and sat down next to him. You brushed your hand in his hair and felt water droplets collect on your hand, but you didn’t really care. He was breathing heavily and his heart was beating rapidly in his chest.
You didn’t was a word and kept your touch on his hair. He slowly rose from his laying position and rested his arms on his legs. His head was bent downwards and naturally your touch left his. You placed a hand on his shoulder to comfort him. “Are you alright-”
And suddenly he dropped his head on your legs. You noticed that he was refusing to look at you. He was rejecting any kind of eye contact, just so you wouldn’t have to see his worn out face. He mumbled something, but you didn’t hear him. But before you could ask him to repeat himself, he spoke up again.
“Yuuji is-”, he said with a crack in his voice. “Yuuji is dead.”
You were shocked. Your heart dropped and you couldn’t even imagine how torn he must be feeling. He stood up and showed you his face. His eyes were red, he had been crying.
You placed your hands on his face and a tear rolled down his cheek. You wiped it away, caressing the spot a few times. “He did his best, so much. He wanted to become stronger, but I failed him.”
“No you didn't and I'm sure he thinks the same. You were so good to him and you thought him many amazing things. I bet he was so proud to say that he had you as his mentor. He was a great kid”, you said in a whisper to calm him down.
This was the first time he had shown any sign of vulnerability. You didn’t want to let him down and you wanted to show him that you cared. You wanted to show him that you were there for him, that you were willing to do anything in your power and beyond to help him.
“They killed him. They planned this, they schemed it so that he would die. They’ve been wanting him dead from the beginning and I swear I'm not gonna let them have this. I will destroy every single on of them and I will show them exactly how much of a mistake they made”, he said in a small voice.
“Hey, you did the best you could. And I have trust in you. I know you’re gonna make it and you’re gonna show them exactly how powerful you are. This won’t go unnoticed and we will make sure of that. Yuuji’s death will not be in vain”, you said.
You embraced him and pulled him flush against you. You pressed your lips together and closed your eyes as you squeezed him, as if he was about to fall from your grip and were to never return.
“We will get revenge”, you whispered as you felt his breath against your neck and felt the wetness of his tears create a damp spot on your shirt. “For Yuuji.”
You stayed like that for a while and you were almost convinced he was asleep. You slowly tried to wriggle the both of you in a laying position because you didn't want to wake him up, but his arm squeezing around your waist told you that he didn’t want to move just yet.
He moved away from your grip but placed his hands on your cheeks. “Thank you for being here for me and thank you for always knowing how to deal with me.”
You gave him a small smile of reassurance. You placed your hand on his cheek once again and pulled him in for a kiss, a small brush on the lips. “I will do everything in my power to help you get through this. And I will use up every bit of energy to carry on Yuuji’s will. We will protect the students together and we will take revenge for the teenager’s death. And we’ll do it together.”
No other word were spoken that night. No words were needed that night. The both of you had understood and the both of you had agreed. It was the first time Gojo had openly showed his feelings and you were more than happy to receive those emotions with open arms. To show him just how much you cared for him. But in reality he already knew and he didn’t need you to comfort him alone to understand that. He was a person that looked out for the smallest details and you just being there next to him, was really all he needed. And him being there, next to you was all you really needed.

Join The League
Tumblr media
Dabi x Reader
Summary: guilt you had been building up inside of you was all a waste of your time and Dabi tried to comfort you
A/N: I have no clue why, but I have a feeling this is a little bith different than what I usually do,, tho I hope you enjoy it!!!
——————————————————————————-
“Join the league”, Dabi said as he held a dagger against your throat while laying on top of you.
“Never”, you spat with a smirk.
Dabi was always trying to convince you to join the league, but you always refused. He had acknowledged your power and found out that he wanted you and only you to join his team. He did his very best, going measures he didn’t even expect himself to go just so you could say yes to him. You always declined his offer, so naturally he didn’t ask it that much anymore. Though not in a nice way anymore. He’d challenge you and he said if he’d win you’d join, but you never agreed to those terms. He just started a fight and you always won, though a part of you was almost convinced he made you win on purpose.
Besides, you were already part of a group. It wasn’t a really known one, but it gave you the feeling of not being lonely and that was something you needed. Being completely alone was dreadful for you.
“Then you are a sworn enemy and I'll have to slice your throat now”, he said playfully.
“I’d love to see you try”, you whispered as you inched your face closer to his, your throat brushing against the metal blade.
You shot your head back the second he tried to slice you with it, creating an opening to attack him back. You pushed his shoulder hard with your free hand, making him lose balance. You gave him another push in his chest and he fell on his back, allowing you to escape his embrace.
With quick motions you took a blade, hidden around your hip, and pushed your way on top of him. When he tried to lift his equipped hand you pushed it back down with your foot, not caring about any imprints or bruises it would leave behind. with a swift movement you placed the blade against his throat.
You inched your face closer to his, breathing heavily. “You’re putting up quite the show. Entertain me the same way next time, will you?”
You slashed the blade in the ground next to his face and stood up. But before you could escape his embrace he pulled you flush against him. “Why not entertain you now?”, he whispered, placing his hands gently around your neck to pull you closer.
You had grown quite accustomed to this kind of behavior that you didn’t even show any form of reaction to it anymore. It would be you glaring at him because he’d always, in some way, make everything sound so sexual.
“Come on, don’t ruin the mood”, he said as he smirked, halting his movements.
“I will cut that smirk off of your face”, you said while trying your best you wriggle yourself out of his arms.
“Hmm, I’m quite interested in that”, he said while bringing his grip to your waist, making you jolt slightly.
“Go get your dick wet somewhere else”, you said as you were finally able to release yourself from his grip. His flirty behavior has been something that didn’t go unnoticed. He’d be like this all the time, but even if you didn’t like to admit it, you secretly enjoyed his flirt and teasing habits.
“You make me crazy”, he said behind you with a laugh.
“I know I do”, you confidently said, not turning back to look at him.
“Join the league”, he randomly added again.
“Perhaps in your dreams”, you said before really leaving him there and turning around the corner to have yet another exploring day in the city to clear your head.
It was every time you saw Dabi that he was provoking you in some way. No matter the occasion he would be all up in your business when in reality you had nothing to do with him. He was part of the league and you were part of your own little group. But he was certain. He was certain that the two of you would be an unimaginable strong team. He strived for power, is what you thought. But you had all the power you needed, so he was just a luxury you didn’t want to afford. He would be the start of a mistake you didn’t want to make.
You actually wished you could join his team, but working in a duo wasn’t really something you looked up to anymore. You had made that mistake once, so it wouldn’t happen again. And declining his offer, in your opinion, was the safest option.
You would walk down the street as if it was yours. Walking as if you didn’t have a care in the world, when in reality everything and everyone reminded you of a certain someone. A certain someone you didn’t ever want to be reminded of. But everything reminded you of your mistake in the past. Everything made you remember every piece of guilt you have inside your body. Everything and everyone, except Dabi.
It wasn’t as if you cared less when you were with Dabi, no, he just made you forget all of the mistakes you made and all of the things that made you feel any sort of guilt. And maybe that was just the reason you enjoyed being around him. Because in the end you did it all to just make you forget everything.
You walked inside your hide out, hours after you walked around the city and hours after your encounter with Dabi. The last thing you were expecting was to actually see him, yet there he was right in front of you. He was bent over a still laying body, his left hand around this person’s throat and fire spreading all over his right arm, ready to plunge an attack on the immobile person.
It wasn’t shocking to see Dabi doing this kind of stuff. It was the villain life, just like you had experienced till now. Stuff like this was bound to happen and wasn’t really ever stopped.
You tried to make out whoever it was trapped under Dabi, but the pillar standing right in front of their face was making that quite impossible. Out of caution that it wasn’t one of your team mates you called for Dabi.
“Dabi?”, you said questionable as you walked closer. “What in the world are you doing?”
His head shot in your direction and you immediately regretted asking him. His eyes screamed murder and for the first time in your life, you were terrified of him. You knew what he was capable of and pissing him off was always last on your list. His eyes bore inside of you as if it was you that had done something wrong and unconsciously you took a light step back.
questions were flooding in your brain, but no answers were given to them. What exactly was the reason behind Dabi acting this way? What caused him to look as if he was about to ring hellfire upon whoever was laying under him.
“I need you to leave right now”, Dabi said in a calm, yet serious and stern tone.
“But-”
“Now”, he repeated with with an even more serious look, making your insides turn. But you didn’t give in.
“I’m sorry but I cannot do that right now”, you said as you walked closer to Dabi and the anonymous person. “I need you to calm down for a second.”
The motionless stranger saw this as an opportunity and with all he got, he pushed Dabi off of him. You saw reds and yellows cover your vision  and you didn’t need to think twice, or double check to know exactly who that person was. Your stomach twisted, your heart dropped and you swear that if you weren’t able to hold yourself back you would be passed out. But the only thing that came out of you was a deep inhale, almost a gasp, as your hands flew over your mouth.
“K- Keigo?”
The person you had sworn was dead. The person who’s death was supposedly your fault. The death that had eaten you alive, drowning you in guilt. The person you had once loved had died, but was right in front of your eyes now. No injuries and very much alive.
Your legs gave up on you and your hand flew to wall, trying to maintain yourself upright. Your heart was beating so hard in your chest, you could feel the throbbing pain in your head. Your head felt fuzzy and with every blink you were trying to reduce the triggering feeling in your eyes. “This can’t be true”, you whispered over and over until your arm was thrown over ones shoulder.
When you looked up you saw Dabi helping you. “I told you to leave”, he said concerned. His voice was low and his murderous eyes disappeared, leaving him with only an anxious expression.
You looked up again only to be met with the one and only Keigo Takami, also known as dead pro-hero ‘Hawks’. His eyes screamed guilt, but not even that could make you think of a reason for him to do this. For him to play such a dirty joke.
You slowly pushed Dabi away from you and walked closer to Hawks. Dabi reached for your arm to stop you, not wanting you to take a step closer to him. But you brushed it off. You knew what you were doing, but at the same time you didn’t.
You halted your movements when you reached him and you searched his face.
He didn’t hesitate when he came closer and he also didn’t hesitate when he pulled you in his embrace. You just stood there, hands to your side and face lifted upwards as you tried your best to not let out any tears. “You were supposed to be dead”, You said as your voice cracked.
“But I’m not”, he said while he pulled you closer, closing off any space that was left between you. That until Dabi placed his hand between the two of you and pushed Hawks’s chest. “That’s enough buddy”, he said as he looked through hooded eyes. “Don’t cross the line.”
“Let’s go, this isn’t good for you”, Dabi said as he turned you around and made you walk to the door.
“I still love you.”
You halted again. A shiver went down your whole body and negativity triggered your brain. “You still love me.”
It came out more as a statement than a question, because if he truly really did love you, then why did he leave? You turned around, face and eyes red. “If that is to be true, then why did you leave?” You walked in his direction again. “Why did you make me go through all the hardship alone?” You whispered while tears were running down your face. “I had no one. I had no one but you. But you left and I blamed myself for that. I ate myself alive with guilt because I had thought it was all because of me. I thought you had died because of me. And you still have the audacity to come here and tell me you still love me after ditching me”, you said the last in a whisper as you were barely a few inches from his face.
You hit him weakly in the chest. “You left me all alone”, you said as you hit his chest once more. Your head dropped, tears were flooding down your face and you softly hit his chest repeatedly. When you hit him one last time, he rested his hand over yours. “I know I did, and I am so sorry. But I had no choice.”
Your head shot up. “No choice?” you said with a crack in your voice.
“You were a villain and when we got exposed I had to fake my death for our own goods. Only the higher ups knew about me not being dead”, he said as he tried to hold your hand. His hands were shaking, but you were sure it was because he was scared. Scared of whatever reaction you were about to give.
You pulled your hand away from his grip. “So what? Were the authorities suddenly much more important? Much more important than the lives you have taken? I can’t forgive you, no, not when you are putting the blame on me. I lived my life like this and you accepted that. How can you expect me to accept the things I resent?”
“But if you had changed we could have figured this out toge-”
Blue flames covered your vision and a sudden heat made you lean back. Your back pushed against Dabi’s body and his free hand wiggled his way around your waist. His grip was firm so you allowed your weight to fall on his as your legs were giving up on you.
The flames had died down and Hawks was nowhere to be seen. The building had enough broken windows to let any bird escape, even the bigger ones.
You tried to stand upright, but it was particularly hard to do so. But Dabi’s grip didn’t loosen on you, so you once again allowed yourself to rest against him.
His other hand creeped around your waist and he held you like he never held you before. His hand touched your bare arm, and it was still warm from usage of his flames. It calmed you down. His head rested in the crook of your neck and he slowly pulled both of you to the ground, giving up all the support he gave while standing and letting you calm down on the ground.
He inhaled deeply and you could feel his breath on your neck and his heartbeat against your back. His touch felt intoxicating and you drowned yourself in his warmth.
Every memory of Hawks ran through your mind and your hand slowly went to your collar. You felt the necklace. It had a dove pendant and Hawks had given it to you. And he had said “Hope the wings will remind you of me every time you see them”. And you hated how it really did remind you of him every time. You played with it for a while until Dabi spoke up.
“Did he get you that?”, he asked as his hand made its way to the necklace holding both your hand and the pendant in his hand.
You slowly nodded your head.
You felt his grip loosen on you and he slowly made his way up to your neck. He fiddled with the chain and suddenly the necklace fell to the ground. You watched as the dirt and dust on the ground had already covered it lightly.
“I’ll get you a prettier one”, he said.
You let out a breathy laugh. “Will you make sure it has a tiny flame on it?”, you said as you rested your head against his shoulder and moved your gaze upwards, meeting his eyes.
“However you want it designed”, he said in a whisper. His hand creeped up to your cheek and he pulled you in.
His lips met yours and you automatically closed your eyes. His touch felt rough yet soft. As if he had been craving this for too long, but still didn’t want to ruin it.
When he pulled away he searched your face. A smile made its way on your face and you let out a laugh. “Exactly how long have you been waiting to do that?”, you said weakly.
He didn’t answer and a smug smile creeped on his his. “No clue what you’re what you’re talking about.”
But he did, he knew exactly what you were talking about. But his words alone wouldn’t be able to express the way he felt for you so his actions were his only approach to successfully show his feelings. He wasn’t good with wording his emotions, but words weren’t really something you needed to understand each other.
“Join the league”, he said silently asked.
You inched closer to his face, stopping right before your lips could meet. “In your dreams”, you whispered at him.

Why’d you only call me when you’re high?
Tumblr media
Suna x Reader
Warnings: (indirect) mention of drugs/smoking and stuff, cursing, alcohol usage, making out and stuff (not that nsfw), angstish.
Summary: based on the song “why’d you only call me when you’re high” by arctic monkeys with me own twists hhhhh
A/N: this is a repost cuz I liked the idea but I wasn’t happy with how I wrote it so I just rewrote it.
——————————————————————————
You weren’t searching for love. You didn’t care about that. You cared about living your life to the fullest, breaking hearts on the way. Life was about fun, not falling in love and devoting your life to a person. That sounded like bullshit to you. You only felt like playing around, not caring about the consequences. That’s what made life so fun.
But there was a certain someone that made you against everything you believed. The person you just couldn’t stop thinking about and couldn’t let go no matter how hard you tried. You hated it so much. But you never admitted it to him, he didn’t have to know. You just went to his place, did your business and left. And the same was the other way around. It didn’t have to be more. But when you arrive back to your place he is all you can think of.
Stupid Suna Rintarou.
You were standing on the balcony of a complete stranger who was throwing an overcrowded party. Thinking of him was tiring. You gulped the last remaining drops of the burning liquid down your throat, lighting up a roll and bringing it to your lips. The smoke that left your lips felt relieving, but not satisfying enough.
You threw the roll in your cup and left it on the table for the house owner to clean and walked back inside. You made your way back inside and walked to the bathroom, squeezing through the crowd of people, ignoring all the horny people getting it on on the dance floor.
You were lucky the bathroom was empty. You locked the door behind you and looked in the mirror. Your red, baggy eyes told you that maybe it was time to return back to your place. You touched your eye bags, remembering how Suna would kiss them when you told him how much you hated them. It gave you no sparks back then, but now he was all that was roaming inside of your head.
You took out your phone and it said 3.00 a.m. Maybe that was your sign to actually leave. Your mind was fuzzy. You wet your face and gave yourself one last glance in the mirror. You tried to convince yourself again:
He is nothing special. He will only add pain to your life. Relationships aren’t for you. Love is just not meant for you. Why would you want to devote your life to someone when all you care about is yourself.
Him in your head felt like a fly zooming around your ear. Irritating. But besides that irritating feeling you hated it, you hated that he wasn’t by your side right now. The dilemma of not wanting to give up your freedom and giving your life someone.
Suna was actually the same as you. A person that only cared about freedom, fun and living life the way he wanted to, but he had accepted his feelings way before you. When he had told you about the way he felt for you, you shut him down. He didn’t care, he wanted to be used is what he said. And without any guilt you used him. That was your purpose to each other. But when you noticed how he tried his best to get to you, he tried his best to make you feel the same way he did. He did things that made him look like a different person, but kinda in a good way. But you didn’t need his kindness is what you told yourself. But in reality his kindness was all you needed.
After months of rejecting him he didn’t come over anymore and for the past month it was only him in your mind. You had slammed your head against every corner of your apartment to get him out of your head, but the only thing that did was remind you of the times he’d push you against those corners and kiss you like no one had ever done.
You walked to your apartment and your heart sunk when you thought you saw him leave the apartment building. stopped yourself and closed your eyes and when you opened them again you saw it was just someone that lived in your apartment building. And once again you caught yourself dreaming of bumping into him, because a part of you wanted that to be him.
You walked inside the building, to the second floor where you lived. A cheap, small apartment. You hated it that every part of your home felt like him, smelt like him and made you imagine all the times you were together with him.
The way he would caress your neck, kiss around your ears and slightly pull your hair. The way he would whisper all these silly things just so you would laugh. The way he always took care of you when you clearly told him not to. Because in the end he liked you, and you did nothing but used it to your advantage.
You couldn’t hold yourself anymore, throwing your bag to the ground next to your couch. You took out your phone and dialed his number, you needed him, you needed him right now. All the liquids and smoking getting to your head. You never felt so desperate. You called him, but no answer. You called again, and again, and again, leaving text messages behind in between the calls, but never getting a response. Your heart was pounding in your chest and breathing felt like the most painful thing right now.
You fell to the ground, clutching your heart. It hurt, it really did.
Your phone vibrated and you had never picked your phone up this fast, only to be hurt at what you read. Your heart sunk once again and a hiccup left your lips while you tried to hold yourself from crying.
“Why do you only call me when you’re high?”
But he was right. You only called him when you were high, because that’s the only time you could suppress your feelings becaus you were occupied with feeling every other thing that was happening at that moment. Until now.
You needed him, badly. You called again, but yet again no answer. You threw your phone, not caring if it broke. Why was it so hard to get him to listen to you? But actually you knew the answer.
You took adventage of his love.
You weren’t thinking straight. Making the right decisions wasn’t really on the list right now. Only the bad ideas swarming in your head. You reached for your phone and texted him again, but the reply was the same.
“Why do you only call me when you’re high?”
You realised he wasn’t here and suddenly you didn’t even know where you were. It felt like you were running out of time if he didn’t answer you. As if he would fall from your grip and you would never see him again. As if he would dissapear if you didn’t try to reach out to him. You realised you didn’t want that. You didn’t find everything you were hoping to find while being with him and it stressed you.
Your phone vibrated again and after reading the text you broke down.
“I gotta be up early in the morning so I’m gonna have an early night. You bore me because you only call me when you’re high.”
Tears fell from your eyes, your heart hammering in your chest and you were unable to let out a sound. Only muffled sounds and a weird hitching noise whenever you tried to take a breath.
“You fucking bastard, I needed you.”
Suddenly you felt two arms around your shoulders and the familiar scent calmed you down. Both of you didn’t move or talk.
You didn’t care about how he entered or why he lied on the text messages. You could only think about him being here right now. The desperate feeling growing stronger even though he was already here. His touch only not being enough, you needed more.
He helped you up and when he loosened his grip on you, you turned around and without thinking you slapped him across the face, but crashed your lips against his right after. “I fucking hate you, Rin”, you said against his lips.
In response he pushed you against the wall and came close to your ear, sending shivers down your whole body. “What are you gonna do about it?”, he whispered while slowly kissing down from your ear, making you exhale loudly.
You smelled the alcohol and cigarettes on him. You knew the both of you would regret this in the morning, but at this moment you both needed each other.
Man, fuck the freedom mentality, you were ready to give him anything and the same went for him. Because without wanting it, he was mad crazy about you. He could do anything for you and wanted you to be only his. And you accepted that. You didn’t care about not wanting to devote your life to him anymore.
So what were you gonna do about it?
“I want you to take every piece of freedom off of me.”
And he understood that.

Ok, maybe I do like him
Tumblr media
Dabi x reader
Summary: lowkey enemies to lo lovers. When Dabi found out you got hurt by someone, he didn’t particularly take it well
A/N: got this random idea off of tiktok and decided to write about it lolz also not completely proof read sorry
——————————————————————————
You didn’t like Dabi. You didn’t like how he walked as if he was the main character. You didn’t like how he always followed behind you just so he could irritate you. You didn't like his face, that smug smile that appeared when he succeeded in irritating you and that frown when you said to him to leave you alone. You didn't like him. And he didn’t like you.
“Look out!”
You spun around quickly, ready to punch whoever tapped your shoulder, but glared when you saw Dabi standing behind you while he was laughing.
“I swear if you come closer to me one more fucking time I will destroy the rest of your not purple skin”, you said giving him a death glare.
“Oh no, I got so scared my tear ducts almost started working again”, he said with a fake concerned look.
“If you don’t stop I will make sure none of the ducts on your body work”, you said as you walked away from him.
“Oh come on, that was funny”, he said as he walked faster coming closer to you so that he walked next to you, shoulders almost touching.
“If that shoulder of yours touches mine I'll make sure it doesn’t touch anything anymore. And for god’s sake leave me alone”, you said, closing your eyes and breathing in heavily.
“Fine fine”, he said as he slowed down his pace. “But will you miss me?”
“No”, you casually said as you walked away from him and left his standing alone on the street.
You didn’t like him. But you still turned around to see if he was still following you. But you regretted that you did, because the second you turned your head slightly he was standing barely inches away from your face. “If you wanted a good bye kiss you could have just asked me one.”
You placed your finger on his forehead and pushed him away from your face. “Did you eat tuna for breakfast or something?”
He looked slightly taken aback, but smiled right after. “Why? Wanna have a taste?”
“If it means spending more time with you, than no”, you said as you turned around and put your hand in the air midway. “Hope to not see you around.”
“That breaks my heart”, he said in a playful tone as his laughter faded the more you walked further away from him.
You didn’t like to give him the attention he wanted. You made sure to do the exact opposite. You knew he’d irritate you even more, but as much as you hated him it was in some way some an enjoyment. You were bored quickly so having him around wasn’t always as bad, though he never knew his limits.
You smiled to yourself and walked further down the street. You didn’t really have a destination in mind, you just walked. Wherever you would land is where you’d stay. It was a continues cycle.
You weren’t really paying attention but when someone grabbed your hand you quickly spun around. “Dabi for god’s sake not no-”
You stopped talking the second you saw that it wasn’t Dabi. “Who are you?”, you asked with frown while looking the man up and down.
“You alone?”
“Why do you care about that?”, you asked.
His grip on your wrist tightened and even though you didn’t like to admit it, it hurt. You tried to pull away but the size of this man made you realize it was as good as impossible.
“Why don’t we go to my place huh? Have a little fun. I see you a lot, wandering around the city on your own, thought you might wanted some company”, he said as he inched closer to your ear.
“I’ll decline, I'm not interested in that kind of stuff”, you replied, trying to pull your arm away from him. But no luck.
“Don’t be shy, I'll be gent-”
You didn’t think any further and just crashed your head against his face, making him stagger back, his grip didn’t loosen, but you punching your two fingers to his throat did. And the second he let go you ran. You tasted iron and when you brought your hand up to your face you noticed your nose was bleeding.
Trying to wipe that all away was the reason you didn’t look in front of you. While running so hard you just ran into someone, making the both of you fall down. Your head felt a little dizzy, but you regained yourself so that you could run away. You just gave the person a simple sorry, not even looking at their face just so you get away quickly. But you were stopped by a pair of hands around your wrist and you felt a stinging pain.
You turned around and took a good look at the person and saw Dabi in front of you with a worried look on his face. “Shit face not now”, you hissed at him as you tried running again, but his grip on your wrist, that had been previously abused by the man, didn’t loosen. “Dabi I’m serious, let me go.”
He didn't react and only looked at your wrist. It had a red color and it already started to bruise lightly. He looked at you and pulled you closer to him. He looked deep into your eyes and brought his hand to your face. You flinched and closed your eyes, but he didn't move any further with his hands. “I’m not gonna hurt you”, he whispered. He brought his hand closer to your face now and slowly wiped the blood away from your nose even though it was still running.
He looked at your wrist again. “Who did this?”
“For fuck’s sake Dabi it doesn’t matter just let me go”, you said looking behind him to see if the stranger was coming and when you saw him you panicked again.
Dabi didn’t budge and with half closed eyes he stared deep into your eyes. “Don’t make me repeat myself. Who did this to you?”, he said in a murderous tone.
He looked behind him and when he was the man coming closer to the two of you he knew exactly it was him. He didn’t have to think twice about your facial expressions because he knew you. He knew you too well.
He let go of your wrist and walked up to the man. And he did something that you didn’t expect to happen. He protected you. He helped you and got himself hurt just so you wouldn’t have to fight him. Just so you could be safe.
And strangely, you felt your heart skip a beat at that moment.
Later around the evening you were walking a limping Dabi to his place. You never knew he actually lived somewhere and you thought he was just a street bird like you. But apparently not.
“You know, you didn’t have to go overboard like that”, you said in an almost whisper while you walked him inside of his place.
He didn’t answer.
You helped him sit on the couch and you slumped next to him. “We should get your wounds treated. Where is the first aid kit?”
“It’s okey, leave it for now”, he said, throwing his head back and closing his eyes.
“Come on don’t be a bitch about it and just tell me.”
He didn’t answer and just stood up with a sigh. He walked away, out of your field of vision and came back later with a pack of ice and the first aid kit. You reached out to take it from him but he placed it next to him and put the ice pack on your wrist with a towel around it. He took out some cotton pads and wetted them. He started to slowly rub them around your nose area to clean up the blood that had dried there.
You held his wrist and stopped his movements. “You made me drag you here to your place, but you walked perfectly fine to get the first aid kit?”
A smug smile appeared on his face, but it was weaker than normal. You didn’t really question it, but it stayed in the back of your head. “Dabi, I'm not in the mood to play around right now, you little dick!”, you said as he let out a breathy laugh.
“I can agree with many names you call me, but I can assure you dick is not small”, he winked at you.
Your face flushed red and you hit his chest to silence his laughter. “I’m being serious here”, you said.
“So am I”, he said in a more serious tone as he continued cleaning your nose.
You let him do that and while he was busy you stared at him. You never knew you’d come to the realization that Dabi wasn’t that bad of a person and definitely not bad looking. His blue eyes made you want to stare for a long time and his piercings were a different story you were interested in. But the main thing you were interested in was-
“Why did you help me out there?”
He stopped his movements and with his head slightly down he turned his eyes only in your direction. He didn’t answer yet and only stared at you.
“I mean, I'm never really nice to you and we’re basically always at each other’s throat. So why exactly did you help me?”
“Because”, he said as he walked away with the blood stained cotton and came back empty handed, sitting next to you again, but closer ,“I care about you and I worry myself over you getting injured.”
He just casually explained it like that as if was nothing. You felt your face heat up, but because you knew he’d make fun of you, you turned your head to the side.
“Your ears are red”, he pointed out and you could basically hear him smile.
“I’ll make your face red if you keep coming at me like that”, you said in annoyance.
You felt him scoot closer, but you tried to not show a reaction. His hand came to your face and with his fingertips placed on your chin, he turned your head so that you were facing him. “You don’t always have to be violent against me”, he said in a whisper as he inched your face closer to his.
“Then make sure I don’t have to”, you whispered back as you closed your eyes and your lips met. You melted in his touch and something never felt so right but so wrong at the same time. This was person you were supposed to hate.
But you came to the realization. You came to the realization that you did like the way he walked so confidently as if he was the main character. You loved the way he followed behind you because you knew he did it to protect you. You liked his face, the way he smiled when he got your attention and the way it furrowed when you left him when he desperately wanted your attention. And you thought to yourself that maybe you didn’t hate him and that maybe perhaps he didn't dislike you either.

Gojo Satoru x reader
Summary: A joke you played on Gojo kinda backfired. But was it really backfire or something you didn’t mind happening.. ;)
A/N: this turned out longer than I had expected. ANYWAYS I enjoyed writing this one ngl:)
——————————————————————————
Gojo was by far one of the most annoying people you have met, but sadly at the same time he is one of your closest friends. He’d always joke around and never really took anything serious. You would be training the 2nd years on the field and he would just be playing around with his first year students. You didn’t mind that he went easy on the first years, but he just left all the extra hard work over to you once they were in their second year. Which naturally made him more annoying to you. For a 28 year old he sure doesn't act his age.
“What if you just went on a date with me?”, Gojo said as you were walking to your room, the one you stayed in at school. It was a much cheaper solution, so you didn’t mind it much. Plus you got to spend more time with your students and... other colleagues.
“What about no?”, you said as you stopped in front of your door.
“AAAAH SENSEI THAT HURTS”, Gojo said as he clutched his heart over dramatically.
“I’m not your sensei”, you answered back at him.
“I mean you could be”, he answered with a wink.
“How about no”, you said as you opened your door. “I am just your colleague.”
“Did I really just get colleague-zoned?”, he said as he wiped away a fake tear making you roll your eyes.
He was always like this. He’d joke around about liking you and didn't’ even conceal the fact about wanting to be in a relationship. But it had been like this since forever and you were so adapted to all the rejecting you did, that it always happened naturally now. He’d go “I like you a lot so let’s go on a date” and you would just shut him down in various ways.
Of course there were times he’d make you blush or make your heart beat a little faster than normally, but you never really took his words into consideration. For example a certain situation that made your heart beat faster:
“Not gonna lie, You look really stunning this evening”, he said as he accompanied you on an evening party between all the teachers from Tokyo and Kyoto Jujustu High.
He had reached out his hand for you to take because that was the kind of guy he was. He didn’t care about how he presented himself in public, so looking like his partner or not was not one of his concerns. So you just didn’t see a problem with it and took his hand as he locked both of your arms.
“Why thank you sir Satoru”, you said as you played along with him. “Though I have to say it feels a little too tight.”
“I think it accentuates your body perfectly”, he said with a wink. “Shall we go inside?”, he said back as your face was probably flushed red. With a nod the both of you went inside the building.
It had been a peaceful night until a man wouldn’t stop bothering you. He was probably a teacher from Kyoto High so you didn’t want to sound rude, but you really did not enjoy the way he was bothering you.
To your luck, Gojo had been watching the whole scene and couldn’t hold his chill. He walked up to you and linked your arms again. “I will be walking this person outside, if you have no business left with them you can gladly leave”, he said with a serious expression, boring a whole in the man’s face with his look.
He pulled you with him to the exit and you just went along. “Maybe we should tell the rest that we’re leaving”, you hesitantly said.
“It’s alright I'll let someone know we left”, he said.
“Not to be rude, but if we leave so abruptly together they might think wrongly...” You didn’t want to finish that sentence because he’d either act hurt and make jokes out of it or he’d be actually hurt and try not to show it.
You heard him sigh. “I’ll tell them you felt sick and that I sent you with a taxi. Don’t worry about it”, he said in a low voice.
You weren’t gonna lie that that moment had made your heart beat faster, but you couldn’t tell him that. It felt weird to admit that to a person you have been rejecting for over years now. It’s not like you would feel like this constantly, so you didn’t mind it much. But little did you know... It wasn’t just a temporary feeling.
“You should check on your students, they’re still outside in the rain because of your punishment”, you said snapping back to reality.
“Ah that’s alright, I gave Megumi the lead. He made sure all three of em went inside before it started raining. All so that I could have some alone time with you", he winked again.
“Then why are only Nobara and Yuuji outside?”, you asked as you pointed at your window. They weren’t, but you just wanted him to shut up and leave, so that was your solution.
His eyes widened and he just sprinted in the directions of the stairs. He took it very serious when his students got sick, because he needed all of the time he got to teach his students. You always made fun of his way of teaching, but in the end the students always turned out to be strong. You didn’t ever really admit is, but he was a good teacher and in some way you looked up to him. Though that piece of information was not for him to know. He had a dream, and his students were helping him achieve it.
“Ooooh y/n sensei, you didn’t sleep yet?” It was Itadori who came walking in your direction. “I was looking for Gojo sensei, but I can’t find him anywhere.”
“Oh I sent him outside to look for you guys, because I told him Megumi left you and Nobara outside in the rain”, you said.
He looked visibly confused and looked his own body up and down. “But I'm right here?”
“Exactly”, you said as you winked and pointed a finger gun at him.
His eyes widened and he started laughing. “Sensei that’s so cruel!”
“I have to do what I have to do in order for him to leave me alone sometimes”, you said with a sigh.
“Is Gojo sensei that bad towards you then?”, Yuuji asked.
“Ah Yuuji you’re making me seem like the bad guy here. But no, he actually isn’t all that bad. But he just doesn’t know about the word private space sometimes”, you said reassuring the teenager.
“oh no I didn’t want to make you feel bad about your words”, he worriedly said as he shook his head. “I just know how Fushiguro gets annoyed easily, so I thought it might have been the same for you. Oh Gojo sensei!”
You turned your head to the side and saw Gojo walking in your direction as Itadori waved frantically, but it faded more and more as Gojo walked closer. He was completely drenched and he held his eye mask in his hands. He looked pissed, or more annoyed.
“Yuuji could you leave me alone with y/n sensei”, he said not looking up.
“y/n sensei is this alright”, Yuuji whispered.
“It’s alright Yuuji, don’t worry about it. Just make sure you don’t stay around here, okey?”, you said with a smile and a nod to reassure him.
“Okey”, he said with a worried expression as he left anyways.
You waited till You didn’t see Itadori anymore. You walked inside your room and Gojo just walked right in after you. You didn’t have the time to close the door as he just pinned you against it, making the push close the door. You were taken aback and Gojo just stared at you. You couldn’t read his expression at all.
“Listen, I play and joke around a lot I know. But making me worry about my students’ health isn’t one of the things I can joke around with”, he said.
“What is it Gojo, did I push the wrong button?”, you said back, not giving a sign of being intimidated by him.
“Don’t go playing all big and mighty now”, he said in an almost whisper, inching closer to your face.
Your heart was beating in your chest, but you didn’t give in. “What are you gonna do about it?”, you said also inching closer, leaving almost no space between your faces.
That was his sign. That was all he needed as confirmation so he just held you neck and pulled you in, closing the space that was left between the two of you. you synced with his movements and he barely gave you a moment to breath.
He pulled back and looked you straight in the eyes. “I’m not joking around with you, I'm serious. I am ready to give you my all, I hope you realized that by now. I know you feel the same way and I'll give you as much time as you need. But don’t make me waste my time. So if you want me just tell me and I'll give you all the space you need after that”, he said with no hint of sarcasm.
“Who said I wanted space?”, you said with a smug smile. “Why would i want space when I can take you right now Gojo Satoru”, you said in a whisper with a smug smile.
He liked that side of you. That playful side of you that appears once in a while. It turned him on, it made him imagine things he shouldn’t and you knew you had that impact on him. Because in the end he never showed any effort in concealing his true feelings so figuring him out wasn’t as hard as you sometimes thought it would.
He smiled back at you and raised his eyebrows. “Guess chasing after you was really worth it huh?”
You pulled him back in for a kiss and this one was more passionate than the other. You pulled him closer, you deepened the kiss and he did everything in his power to not squish you against the door. Your hand moved to his damp hair and you tugged at it lightly. He moved his head to your ear and trailed down kisses to your shoulder.
His hand moved to the lock of the door and you heard it click. You turned your head slightly that you had a good view on his face. He was smirking and you rolled your eyes at him in a playful way.
“Let’s see how good you keep your word when saying you can take me right now”, he said.
“I can’t back down now, can I”, you smugly answered.
With a breathy laugh he brought his face back to yours. “where were we”, he said in a whisper.
“Here”, you said and you pulled him back in for a kiss.
It was quite obvious from the start that you and Gojo would end up like this. You couldn’t deny your feelings forever and Gojo was one hell of a pain in the ass to keep on reminding you that you had no escape from him. Not that you wanted that. But like said before, he didn’t need to know that piece of information. Some things were better left off not said, because in the end Gojo Satoru is one hell of a cocky person, but that was one thing you adored so much about him. And let’s not forget, you were in love with him and there was no denying that either.

Gojo Satoru x reader
Summary: after your break-up with Gojo you go to his apartment, which you used to share, to get all your stuff. But you thought you were doing bad, until you saw him.
A/N: this was gonna be angst with a very bad ending, but while writing I was hurting myself so I decided to make it a little less shitty T_T I'm so pussy wtf (it’s still kinda sad)
——————————————————————————
It’s been a month. A month after your break up with Gojo. You had been together for almost 5 years and leaving each other may have been one of the hardest decisions. But you had no choice. You had to in order to be able to leave it there. You need to start anew, you had to leave it there in order to live your life. Even though you still loved each other, it felt like the best option, at least for you.
In order for you to be able to live independently, to make your own money you had to take the job offer overseas. But Gojo had to stay there, for his students. And you didn’t want to make it any harder for him. His students needed him and you knew for a fact that he needed his students. His students were amazing and taking Gojo away from them would only hurt everyone.
In those 5 years of being together you had been living together for almost 3 of them. After the break-up you hadn’t returned to that home, staying at a friend’s place that was barely ever home. You needed to get your stuff, but it all still felt so sad. You couldn’t bring yourself to, but you had to stand strong. You had texted him, telling him you’d get your stuff. You filled your car with boxes to help you move out your stuff and while you drove to your shared apartment. Or at least what was your shared apartment.
You stayed in your car while being parked, fiddling with the ends of your shirt. You picked your nails and your mind was thinking about so many things at the same time. You didn’t know how you’d approach him and you didn’t know how in the world you would pull yourself together. You were still not over him and only thinking about the fact that he might be will just ruin you.
With a sigh you stepped out of your car and took a few of the boxes that you could carry to Gojo’s door. You knocked on the door and silently prayed that he wasn’t home. Everything would have been easier if you still had a key, but with you rushing out you left yours with him.
Your head shot up when the door was opened. You were greeted with a sleepy Gojo. His hair was tousled and his shirt was wrinkly and pulled down so much that his collarbones were visible. You looked away and couldn’t bring yourself to say anything.
“Hey”, he said in low voice, almost inaudible. “Uh- come in”, he said.
You wanted to pick up the boxes, but he beat you in doing so. He took all of them inside for you, but didn’t say another word. You stayed at the entrance of the living room while he walked in and placed the boxes on the ground.
You saw take out food and cup noodles and it made you wonder if he had been eating properly. He looked skinnier, as if he wasn’t before. The house wasn’t a mess, but it wasn’t that clean either. It made you wonder if he had been taking care of himself.
He saw you staring at the table and immediately cleaned up any evidence of take out food. “I haven’t had the time to clean up yet”, he said to you with a sad expression as he walked to the kitchen.
You couldn’t emotionally take this and just wanted to leave. If you saw him like this for even more than a second you knew you’d change your mind, but you couldn’t. You had to do what was for the better, he could easily find someone new, that’s how amazing of a person he was.
“You can come in you know, I don’t bite”, he said as he walked back in the living room.
You took a step forward and felt the tears in your eyes sting. You really did love him and leaving like this really hurt you. “I’ll start with the bedroom”, you said as you took a box and walked to the bedroom.
You opened the door and looked at the oh so familiar room. It felt like it had been untouched since the day you left, but the changed sheets told you otherwise. His scent filled your nose and you just wanted time to stop right there.
You walked in further and saw that he hadn’t touched any of your stuff. You noticed that one of your shirts was on the bed, on his side and you couldn’t stop yourself from thinking that he probably did the exact same thing as you. You had left this place with only a few clothes and you say you had one of his shirts on your side of the closet and you took it with you.  Even though his scent had worn off, you slept with it almost every night. How childish it may sound, it calmed you.
You couldn’t bring yourself to pack up any of this. You sat down on the bed, looking around you. A tear rolled down your cheek. This wasn’t supposed to be this dramatic. You had thought to yourself.
“Can I come in”, you heard Gojo say from the entrance.
You shot your head to the side, wiping away a tear. You nodded.
He sat down next to you, but left enough space between you. Was it strange that you wished he didn’t? But he thought you just needed space from him. He didn’t know about the whole new job thing. You thought it would have been better if he didn’t know. Because if he did, he would consider leaving with you. And like you thought before, you couldn’t do that to his students.
“I see you didn’t touch any of my stuff”, you said, not looking at him.
“I mean, how could I?”, he said. “I still love you after all.”
“Don’t say that”, you said in a whisper while dropping your head..
“Why? Will it make you change your mind?”, he asked in a low tone.
you shook your head. It just made you feel guilty. Which you actually were. You stood up from your place and walked to the desk that was in front of the window. There was a picture of you and Gojo. The picture both of you loved so much. The two of you on the beach, you knew it was cliche, but you sill loved it very much. A stranger took that picture and you can’t forget about how amazing that day was.
“Was it something I did?”, Gojo asked.
You didn’t answer. You couldn’t bring yourself to. You weren’t used to seeing him like this. So vulnerable, so sad. You thought he would be over you, but he seemed to be doing worse than you. The bags under his eyes and his slightly pale skin made you think that perhaps leaving him wasn’t the right decision to make. But you needed this job.
“Just please tell me what went wrong”, he said. “I really can’t do this anymore.”
You didn’t say a word back at him. You were scared that if you kept talking that the both of you would just break down. You knew for yourself that you where on the edge, but you could tell he was too.
“I just don’t understand what went wrong. Was it something I did? Cause if it was-”, he said stopping mid way to take a deep breath, “-just please tell me what it is that I did wrong so I can make it up to you. I can’t loose you.” He said the last in a whisper.
Tears formed in your eyes. You were scared that if you talked right now, you wouldn’t be able to hold your tears in front of him anymore.
“For god’s sake just say something. anything”, he said louder now. “I can’t do this anymore, just please-!”
“Don’t yell at me”, you said in a whisper; “Please don’t yell at me.”
Tears were falling from your eyes and they didn’t stop. He was silent for a moment and started mumbling to himself. Blaming himself again. You heard him walking up to you, but you didn’t turn around just yet. You waited to see if he would do anything, but he didn’t. So you turned around and the second that you did he slowly pulled you in his embrace and placed his head on your neck.
“I’m so sorry. I know- I know I can be a dick from time to time and I know that I get cocky. I know I'm not the best human in the world, but please at least allow me to try and change. Please just- please just don’t leave me like this”, he said as his voice cracked in the end.
“I’m sorry, Satoru. I really, truly am. But this isn’t about you, this is mainly about me and my decisions. I-” You wanted to say it to him, you wanted to tell him you still loved him, but telling him right now might just ruin everything.
“I can’t live without you. I really truly can’t. This was the shittiest month I've ever had and I can’t stop thinking about you. Just please, don’t leave my side.”
“I don’t have a choice, Satoru”, you said, in a whisper while your tears were falling falling from your eyes on his shirt. You could smell him and his sweet scent made you cry even harder. This was the last time you would be able to be this close to him, this was the last time he would touch you and this was the last time he would be talking to you like this. Because you were leaving and nothing was stopping you.

The Past Never Forgets
Pt. 1
Tumblr media
Dabi x reader
Warnings: killing, cursing
Summary: as a cast out by society you find your way to the League of Villains. Your family that had given up on searching for you after you ran away , but after 5 years, in some mysterious way, they found your hide-out.
A/n: I got the quirk idea from someone else bc my brain isn’t working with me. They have a lot of other fan made quirks I will put the link right here, you can check it out!! ( https://www.wattpad.com/672985786-my-fan-quirks-venom )
—————————————————————————
Life wasn’t really something that had been going great for you. In fact your life had been pretty shit. You were an outcast, hated by society, hated by your own family. All because of your unbearable quirk. You had no place to feel safe and no place to call home. Your family made sure you never used your quirk because it could cause deaths among your loved ones. Your childhood was ruined all because of the image they wanted to hold as a family. they put their desires of fame above your well-being and you saw only one option to change that. And that was by running away. The only thing you had been taught was to hate what you used to love, you were basically emotionless.
As a teenager of 16 years old you decided to run away from home. You never got treated right and you were seen as a death-threat. You yourself didn’t see any problems with your quirk, but your family had other opinions about that. There were rules for you, and only you. None of your siblings had any of these rules, because their quirks were hero-like and yours was villain-like. If you used your quirk without permission you would be left in a dark room with no food for a whole day. They would call this discipline, but in reality this was child abuse. The only person caring about you was your grandma, but after she passed away you had no reason to stay in that house.
Your family tried searching for you, but gave up quickly when they realized life would be much better without you around. You quickly realized that life would also be much better without them. You had blamed yourself for your quirk. For all those years in that place that was a so called home, you had believed that your quirk was a threat to society. That if you made the wrong moves they would take a hold of your life. But after running away, and finding people that adored you for your quirk, it made you realize what a real family was. And you realized that your quirk was more than just a threat to society, it was something that belonged to you and only you.
You were the holder of the Venom quirk.
For 5 years you wandered around, going from city to city and doing about anything to provide yourself some food and a place to sleep. You never stayed put, that wasn’t your way of going. You went from place to place, exploring different streets from every city and making yourself known within the “villain community”. It wasn’t every day people got to see a venom quirk in action, so they were all curious enough to let you stay with them.
One day, before you had settled down, you were wandering around a new city, chewing on some stolen buns, you walked in a side street, hidden from the citizens. You saw blue flames and it struck to you. You had always liked the color blue, it was a pretty color compared to your dark purple venom, you didn’t like the color purple after all. You had watched the holder of the blue flames do his thing on a person who was trying his hardest to escape. He was unable to let out a sound as the blue flame man was keeping his hands strongly around his throat.
You were interested in this person, not because he was probably a villain, but mainly because you thought his quirk was cool. Oh yeah, and of course because of the color blue. You wanted to know who’s quirk would be stronger. You were curious, so you budged in, not caring about what would happen. You threw your bun on the ground.
“I mean, that’s pretty kinky”, you said.
his hand shot in your direction, but you were quick to react. Before his flames could hit you, you had made an X motion with your arms, letting out your venom in a shield form, protecting you from the burning flames. If there was one thing you had learned from wandering on your own, it were quick reflexes. you felt that his flames were powerful, but you knew for a fact that he didn’t use all of his strength.
“You got some good reflexes”, he said continuing to strangle the small dude.
“You seem... interested in that kind of stuff”, you said, pointing at his hands around the man’s throat.
“well what can I say, it’s tempting sometimes”, he said with a smirk. “I mean you can join in if you’d like that.”
He dropped the man and watched him crawl his way in the other direction. “That’s your prey, you sure you wanna just let him escape?”, you curiously asked, smirking back at him.
“He can’t go far, the next person will get him”, he said as he properly turned around and leaned against the stone cold wall. You couldn’t help but laugh at the thought of him actually freezing against the cold wall right now. “Now tell me, what brings you to this side of the city?”
“I saw blue flames and I like the color blue”, you shrugged, placing your hands in your pockets. “Nothing more.”
He walked closer to you, examining you from head to toe with his eyes. You let him, because in the end what did you have to lose? If he wanted to kill you, he would have probably already tried to do that. But he was just looking at you, probably trying to figure out how your quirk was supposed to work.
“You saw blue flames and you like the color blue”, he silently repeated your sentence. His eyes stopped trailing down your body when he connected eyes with you. “Do you have any clue as to who I am?”
“Not the slightest”, you answered, breaking the eye contact first by walking past him to the direction the person that was a victim of his blue flames. He was gone, with only a splash of blood and a limb on the ground. You smiled to yourself. He had not survived just like flame boy said.
This could get interesting. You had thought to yourself.
“What exactly is it that you do around here”, he asked while walking behind you. “Never saw you around here. You new?”
“You could say that”, you answered. But left out the fact that you were only new to the city and not to the whole “villain” thing, because giving away your life wasn’t really your plan yet.
“What about you? I never heard of you”, you said.
“My name is quite known here”, he smirked, walking closer to you. “The name is Dabi.”
“Nice to meet you infamous Dabi”, you said as you inched closer too, showing him you were by no means intimidated by him. “I look forward to hearing and seeing you more often.”
After that you had made yourself known in the new city you visited, the city were you had met Dabi, the so called famous villain. You did hear a lot about him, making him a lot more interesting. There were many encounters between the two of you and he had tried to convince you to join his little group of friends called the League of Villains. You liked to work independent, so you kindly rejected his offer.
But it wasn’t after a very fierce battle that Dabi had been heavily injured. You wouldn’t consider yourselves friends at that time, but you were close enough to not let him die. You hadn’t received from him what you had wanted. So you brought him to his hide-out, where the other members of the League were.
The time you had spent there as just “a visitor”, had turned into you wanting to have more fun so you decided to join, without a plan. You were still allowed to move on your own so you didn’t see that much of a problem. They weren’t people with rules, or whatever. You lived freely, and you were happy about that.
You had made that place your home. Things that started off as a joke, turned into things that were important to you. These people were the people that didn’t fear you, but were happy to battle with you. These people wanted to get stronger for their own sake and didn’t live up to the will of other’s. Even if they looked like emotionless people, they cared about each other. And that was a place you liked to call home.
that all lead to the present. You were sitting with Dabi at the edge of high building, thinking about some random plan Shigaraki had made you think about. It wasn’t even necessary, he just needed a back-up plan.
“We’re not really gonna write this down are we?”, you asked as you held a piece of paper and a pen in your hands. “Shigaraki has to be kidding if he really wants a back-up plan for this one. I’m 99% sure we’re winning this one.” You slowly watched your venom eat up the paper as you threw the pen off of the building.
Shigaraki had planned to attack UA, you didn’t really care about UA, but because Shigaraki had let you do just about anything while being with them you didn’t mind helping him out. “We can never go wrong with a back-up plan, you know.”
“But I mean, he has been planning for over a month now. How wrong can stuff go? Worst case scenario is that we retreat. They can’t possibly be this cautious beforehand?”
“Oh, you don’t know UA. They do just about anything to keep school grounds safe. They have everything ready for literally the worst case scenario”, Dabi said.
“But everything has been planned out, we literally searched for every possible thing that could go wrong and we found a solution for that. I really don’t think we need this. Besides, since when does Shigaraki want back-up plans, he never did-”, your head shot up in realization and you slapped dabi across his chest as you lightly gasped. “You little shit. Shigaraki didn’t ask us to make a back-up plan! Why did you bring me here then?!”
“Ding ding ding, someone caught on”, he said as he slowly rose to his feet.
“But why!”, you asked as you also stood up.
“To protect you”, he said smugly.
“To protect me?”, you said questionably. “And why would you do that? I survived on my own for 5 years on the street, I think I can handle some high school children.”
He came closer to you and kissed your lips for only a second. He did this often, it’s not like it was the first time he did it, but it always left you a little flustered. It was not everyday you had received any form of affection, so it was all new to you. You two weren’t in a “relationship”, but it sure was something along those lines. Whenever he’d kiss you, your so called superiority went down a little only because you did not know how to act. But you never let yourself get trampled over.
“Dabi I’m serious here, why did you take me here. If Shigaraki is fighting some people right now we should at least help him. Your own feelings shouldn’t come first place when it’s such a dangerous thing. I can care for my own, so let’s go help Shigaraki. He helped us out too many times to leave him alone there”, you said in a strict tone, showing him that you were by no means playing. “Besides I haven’t thrown a good punch in a while, I need this.”
“It was him that told me to bring you here, tho I would have even if he didn’t ask me to”, he said. “Your family found your occupation. Not the real hide-out, but you know the one where we-”
You slapped a hand on his lips, making sure he didn’t continue that sentence. Your face was flushed and his lips turned into a smirk. You didn’t like it when openly talked about your intimate relationship. He knew exactly how to fluster you, but right now wasn’t really the best moment to do so.
You looked at the ground, eyebrows furrowed. Your family really had the audacity to come search for you now? It felt like bullshit to you. You looked at Dabi and straightened your posture. “All the more reasons for me to head over and take a look.”

Care
Tumblr media
Warnings: cursing, mention of blood, accidental cutting (knife)
Summary: just a soft and concerned, overthinking dabi. The two of you trying to understand each other.
A/N: this is totally my own imagination and is not based on any facts obviously also thanks to @aizawap for the inspiration!! also I don’t actually see Dabi doing this... but it’s the thought that counts right T_T (also not proofread so sorry for any mistakes)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Dabi wasn’t really the type that was into dating, in fact he had never really thought about it until he met you. He used to be the guy that would just do his thing and leave, without any commitment or responsibilities. When he met you, his vision on life totally changed. He started to care and even though he was one big of an asshole to literally anyone, to you he’d be the nicest person ever.
He met you when he was supposed to be hiding in the alleys, spying on some random people that his group was gonna attack. Mistaking him as a homeless person, you had brought him a bag filled with necessities to survive for a few days. He had just let you, not wanting to get out of focus. But he grew fond of the fact that you came by once in a while. It gave him a feeling of being cared about. His life had always been about running away and not getting attached to anything, but whenever you came around he’d just get happy just because he finally had someone that made him realize he was a person. And not just some runaway teenager.
Even though he was over his twenties, he’d get silly like a child whenever you were around. He didn’t care about the so called mission and only focused on entertaining you. He’d make you laugh and you’d fill your work breaks to spend with him. Of course you had realized he wasn’t homeless, but it gave you an excuse to go see him everyday. He made you realize that taking care of a person wasn’t always bad.
You were raised with no parents, but your childhood was just you running errands for your sick grandma. You saw taking care of someone as something that led to death. But while taking care and looking out for Dabi you saw how it could give you a positive satisfaction.
until one day he was too careless. He was so mesmerized by you that he totally forgot about the mission. He got attacked instead, and while being heavily injured you ran to his aid. You started to panic and once again taking care of someone scared you. It had led to his almost death. He refused to go to the hospital, forcing you to take him to his group. That didn’t feel right to you, so you brought him to your place.
It was then that you realized Dabi was more to you than just someone to take care of. He was a person you loved spending time with and a person worth risking some things. He made you smile and enjoy life as much as you made him enjoy things. He realized that you were more than a person that took care of you. You were the person he wanted to protect. You were the person that he’d risk everything for.
That’s how you came to the current situation. Him in your apartment after clearing his work and you making dinner because you had a day off. He usually cooked food, but he had a rough day so you thought you’d make it this time. You were smiling to yourself while stirring some past in a pot as you thought about the first times of the two of you going out.
“What are you so smiley about?”, Dabi asked as he said on the chair that was on the other side of the counter. He placed his head on the counter, squishing his right cheek as he did his best to turn his head in your way. He revealed so many soft sides of himself every time he came over that you were surprised how cold blooded he could be outside.
“Hmm, just thinking about some stuff”, you said as you drained the pasta.
He wasn’t satisfied with your answer so he stood up from the chair and walked your direction. He threw his arms around your shoulder and snuggled his head in your neck. “Now tell me what made you so happy, because if it was me in your head I’m gonna-”
“Yes it was you in my mind, but first dinner”, you said, not letting him finish his sentence.
It was still uncomfortable to talk so bluntly about being intimate, that you refused to hear him say anything about it. You tried to get out of his grip, to finish dinner but he had other intentions.
He kissed your neck, making you let out a strange noise that was in-between a squeal and a moan. Instead of continuing he laughed in your neck. “What was that!”, he said while laughing. Your cheeks turned red and you don’t think you’ve ever felt this embarrassed in your life.
It could be that you were being overdramatic, but you really didn’t like it when he laughed at you. You were pretty insecure about yourself, so literally the smallest thing could trigger those insecurities. You started to overthink about how weird you sounded, and that if you every made a sound like that before. What if he thought that it was unattractive?
“Babe”, he said and you suddenly shook your head and looked at him. He had loosened his grip on you already and had turned you around. You hadn’t even noticed. “Whats’s wrong, you just stopped... I don’t know, working.”
You didn’t say anything and just finished taking care care of dinner. The whole meal was silent. And he took a few glances at you in the hope that you would look back, but you didn’t. You were in lost in thoughts of overthinking.
After dinner he cleaned the table as you did the dishes in silence. once he was finished he walked back to you. “Hey, are you okey?”, he said as he peeped his head in front of you, making you jump lightly. “Did I do something wrong, did I say something I shouldn’t have?”
You being insecure and an over thinker was one thing, but him being exactly the same when it came to you was another. He was usually the one that was quite proud of himself and pretty confident. But when it came to you, he had no clue how things were supposed to go. He didn’t really know how to be affectionate without being too clingy.
You were lost in your thoughts once again, not answering to anything. Then suddenly you felt a sharp pain in your hand and you noticed that you had just cut yourself your hand while washing a knife. Your eyes widened at the sight of blood dripping out of your hand?
Dabi noticed, but out of shock he didn’t know what to do. “Uhm, uhm. Shit, what to do. Please wait here-”, he said as he started to pace around the kitchen to search for something to stop the bleeding.
“Dabi it’s okay, I can fix it. Don’t worry about it”, you said as you took the nearby towel and pressed it against your palm.
“I’m so sorry, this is my fault right? Ah, I shouldn’t have disturbed you while doing the dishes. I’m so sorry if I did anything wrong, just please-”, he said as he looked down and placed his hand around your waist, gripping your shirt lightly. “-just please don't ignore me.”
You searched his face and mentally slapped your face because you did it again. You knew he would overthink things and if you didn’t reassure him, he’d build up this wall of insecurities.
You crashed your head against his chest. “I’m sorry for ignoring you, I know that wasn’t really what I should have done.”
You had this incident many times before. He’d accidentally upset you and you would just not talk about it with him until you felt better about yourself. Even though he told you many times you two needed open communication, it didn’t always work out for you. It was something you had to work on.
“I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings, I- that wasn’t really my intention”, he stuttered.
“I should have told you if you said anything that hurt me. I just had a rough day even though I was free”, you said. “Being alone gives me more room to overthink and hurt my own feelings.”
You looked at the towel and removed it slowly to see it the bleeding stopped. A small crust started to form, hinting you that the bleeding almost stopped. You didn’t look at his face yet fidgeting with the towel in your hand.
“What are we doing? We are two grown people, we should be able to talk this out without having to act like this”, he said while caressing my hair.
“You’re right. I’m just really bad at explaining how I feel, so until I figure out how to do that will you wait for me?”, you said looking up at him.
“I’ll wait and I’ll try my best to understand the situations more and think about your feelings. Let’s help each other, yeah?”, he said giving you a small smile.
“Yeah”, you whispered, smiling back at him.
He was your special person and you were his. The both of you learned from each other and helped each other build up a stable life. Even though you had your ups and downs, you would always figure out a way to fix it. You never thought the smug, douchy looking, mysterious boy from the alley next to the supermarket you worked at would have this much of an impact in your life. And neither would he have thought a supermarket employee would make him turn twice to catch glimpses.
You fulfilled each other’s flaws and helped each other grow. He learned to take care and you learned to be taken care of.

Warnings: uhhhh death (not of the main characters), cursing, as usual very slight nsfw at the end (I’ll leave the imagination to you guys;))
Summery: heheheeh jealous dabi go brrrrrr (literally)
A/N: dabi brainrot
—————————————————————————
You were walking in the city, waiting for your boyfriend to arrive. Dabi had always been a person that arrived late to dates, but it was all understandable because he didn’t really have control over how quick his “missions” would be, because Shigaraki really did not give him the luxury to. It was mostly only about half an hour that he would be late, but this time it was taking a horrible long time for him to arrive. You walked out of a store with a bag in your hands. You were happy, because you bought Dabi a little something. He never really liked surprises but this one couldn’t really hurt him could it?
As you happily walked inside an alley, you bumped into someone. You rubbed your nose and looked up. “Sorry didn’t see you there”, you apologized to the stranger.
you were about to walk away but the strange man pulled you by the arm. He pushed you against the wall and stared deep in your eyes. “You look like you came all by yourself.”
“Dude what the fuck. Let me go”, you said angrily, trying to pull away from his grip. You cursed at yourself for not listening to Dabi when he said you should go to the gym to build muscles. “Hey I’m serious, let me go.”
“Give me a reason why I should?”, he said coming closer to your ear.
You pushed your shoulder against your ear, trying your best to block him from touching you any further. “Not tryna brag here, but I’m not sure you wanna meet my boyfriend.”
You tried harder, but his grip tightened and you were sure that if you fought back even a little bit more, he'd crush your bones. It wasn’t everyday a buff man was pinning you against a wall, so fighting back really did not seem like the best option.
He smugly looked at you. “I don’t see a boyfriend anywhere”, he said.
An arm smashed against the wall above the man and you sighed in relief when you saw and arm with burnt, purple skin crawling against the man’s neck. Blue flames stared to come out of his hands, burning the skin he was holding. When the man looked up he was greeted with a furious Dabi looking him dead in the eye. “The boyfriend is here, you got anything more to stay?”, Dabi said in a low hoarse voice. The flames started to become brighter and larger, but the man didn’t budge. “I’ll give you three seconds. One... two...”
“What are you gonna do with that thin body of yours, you can’t beat me with small flames”, the stranger snorted.
Dabi laughed lightly. “Three”, he said and literally blasted all the fire out of his hands, burning the man alive.
“DABI!”, you screamed. “Are you crazy, do you know what kind of evidence this can leave behind!”
“Does it look like I care”, he angrily said while looking at you.
He grabbed your hand and pulled you away from the alley and the burning body. The way to your place was silent. Him pulling you and you just allowing him. You had accepted that your boyfriend was a bad guy, so you were prepared for him to do many things you would dislike. But you never imagined him killing a guy for you. In some fucked up way, you liked it. You liked it that he cared so much about you, even though it wasn’t the most healthy mind set. But in the end it wasn’t the right thing to do.
As he pulled you in your apartment, he didn’t even give you a second to properly take off your shoes as he pushed you against the door the second he closed it. Your shoes, still half on, making it almost impossible to move properly. He started kissing you roughly and you let him. It was the jealousy that drove him. You didn’t see it much, but him being jealous was one thing that turned you on.
But you couldn’t just let this slide. As much as you enjoyed the current situation, you should talk to him. You pushed him away, both out of breath. He looked at you with a confused look. You placed your hands around his neck and pulled his ear to your lips.
“We have to talk about what just happened”, you said in a whisper. You enjoyed teasing him so you did exactly that even though it was supposed to be a serious conversation.
“Talk then”, he whispered back as he slowly kissed your bare shoulder.
“I just think that-”, you couldn’t finish your sentence as a soft moan left your lips the moment he bit down your shoulder.
“Carry on”, he said as he started kissing you again. “I'm listening.”
“We- uhm, I-”, you said, forgetting every sentence that went through your mind as he trailed kissed all around your ear to your collarbone.
You tugged at the end of his hair, trying to remember the things you wanted to say. “Fuck-”, you exhaled as he bit down on your skin again.
You threw your head back, exposing all of your skin to him. Suddenly you didn’t care about what happened today. All you cared about was him. And you showed him that. You showed him that you would give your all to him, because he gave his all to you. No matter in what toxic way, it was you and him against the rest. Your normal life was thrown out of the window, but in reality you didn’t care about that. As long as you were with him, you felt the happiest.
Because he made you feel things that no one else was able to make you feel.

You and Dabi were running as fast as you could while laughing, praying that you wouldn’t get caught. This had become a daily routine, running away from the authority with Dabi next to you. Wind hitting your faces as you looked at each other with hair flying in front of your faces. It wasn’t the most beautiful sight, but to him you were always the most mesmerizing person. You were his everything and he was yours. “You ready”, he says as he grabs you by the waist, pulling you against him and making a drastic turn, exposing his quirk to whoever was behind you. Blue flames everywhere and when you looked up at him he had the most beautiful smile. With the people caught in the flames, probably gone by now, he spun you back in the right position. He didn’t let go of your hand and pulled you in the direction of an empty alley. He pushes you against the wall and starts kissing you, the both of you not taking it serious at all. You laugh while kissing and the adrenaline was flowing in your bodies. You felt like you could take the world right now. And if that really were the case he would do literally anything to give you the world. Because in the end, it was you two against the world.
Bonus:
“Why did we think that running away with that many people behind us was a good idea?”, you asked while sitting next to Dabi who was, just like you, handcuffed. “Shut up this is hella embarrassing”, he said trying to hold himself from laughing. Why, you ask? Because he knew you’d get away without a scratch, he was particularly good in escapes. You had trust in him and he in you.

Imagine you and Gojo, passionately kissing each other with the song love is bitch on the background. He has you pinned against the wall, hands held thightly above your head and when the beat drops he rolls his hips against yours while keeping your lips attached. You let out soft moans as he groaned at and almost inaudible volume... the rest is up to your imagination.
Thirst hours.. (sigh)

Dabi x reader
Warnings: kinda an open ending, sick!reader (pancreas problems), a little bit of cursing, sad topics T_T Might contain a certain spoiler about Dabi’s past.
Summary: based on the story ‘I want to eat your pancreas’ but with my own twists here and there. You were sick and Dabi was able to manage you just fine. He was not the caring type, but maybe he changed a little because of you. Teenager! Dabi and teenager! Reader. (Honestly I really recommend you read the light novel of I want to eat your pancreas, cuz holy shit that thing made me feel so many emotions at once)
“It’s your fault for finding my diary, I didn’t tell you to pick it up”, you said as you were happily walking behind Touya while he clearly told you to stop following him. “I mean who does that? Opening the diary of a stranger? You must have been pretty curious, hm.”
“I opened it because I had to find to owner, no more to the story. And why are you still following me? It’s been three weeks since that incident, get over it”, Touya said annoyed.
“Because, my dear Dabi”, you said as you quickened your steps so that you were in front of him, walking backwards with your face pointing his way. “You were the one that found my diary AND you’re the only one who doesn’t give a shit that I’m dying.”
“First of all, I told you not to call me Dabi anymore and second of all, why are you happy that I don’t care about your death? Aren’t you like, supposed to be sad about that?”
“Ah dear Dabi”, you said again, to work on his nerves, ”you do not understand the brain of a dying person.”
Ever since you found out he had a nickname for his online games, you decided to call him by that name whenever you tried to annoy him. He told you not to use it, but if he really hated it that much, he could have put effort onto stopping you. But he didn’t.
“I thought you had pancreas problems, not brain damage”, he said. You weren’t sure if he was being serious or not, but you being you, you didn’t really care about that stuff. You just spoke your mind.
“I mean, my brain does hurt ever since I met you, but my pancreas is really the one with issues”, you said.
Your first encounter with Touya was in school. Though both of you never really said anything to each other you did see each other quite often. Your real encounter, the one that made both of you talk to each other, was the one in the hospital. You had left your diary on a seat and Touya had picked it up. Because he wanted to know who it belonged to, he had read a part of your story. A story that was only meant for you to read and for other’s to see after your death. A kind of gift you wanted to leave behind for your loved ones.
Ever since then you just kind of stuck to him, not caring what others might think. You had a bubbly personality anyways, people would just assume it was you being nice again. You realized that he didn’t treat you any different ever since he got to know your truth that you had been hiding, the fact you were slowly dying because of your pancreas. And because of that realization you just knew he would be the perfect person to be around with. He didn’t really liked your company all the time and he wasn’t ashamed to tell you, but he never shut you out meaning he probably didn’t mind your presence that much.
“Funny. You know what would be more fun, if you actually left me alone”, he said as he grabbed you by the shoulders and lightly pushed you aside. He quickened his steps and tried to get rid of you. But you were a dedicated person and you would get what you wanted.
“Do you have plans for Saturday?”, you boldly asked.
“Besides reading, no”, he casually answered as you kept walking behind him. You had noticed that he had started walking faster, so you also spend up .
You took a small sprint so that you were walking in front of him again. You stopped walking and turned around. When you did that he stopped in track, looking confused at you. You raised both eyebrows and laughed. He hadn’t caught on and it was pretty funny to see that. “That means you’re free to hang with me, am I correct?”
You knew he couldn’t lie for his life, and that he couldn’t make up an excuse to not spend a day with you. His face scrunched when he realized he had fallen in your trap. You started laughing loudly. “I’ll meet you at the station at 1 p.m. Be on time, you wouldn’t want to make a girl wait now do you?”
He shook his head while closing his eyes. You could tell he wasn’t the happiest about it, because in the end you had stolen his free day. He was the type of person to not be that active. He didn’t like doing stuff, or going out. He liked to spend his days inside with a book or by playing games. Even while playing his games he wasn’t interested in teaming up with others so he always played solo. You laughed at him for it, but he called it independence.
He let out a sigh as he walked past you. “Don’t forget! You refused to give me your number so I won’t be able to remind you through text!”
He stopped walking and took his bag off of his shoulder. He opened his bag, but you weren’t able to see what he was doing. He zipped his bag closed and threw it over his shoulder. He walked in your direction as you tilted your head to the side, looking questionable. When he was in front of you he stuck a sticky note on your forehead. Without saying another word he turned around and left.
You took the sticky note and read what was on there. It was his number. You knew he wouldn’t forget about the so called date, but he still gave you his number meaning he probably enjoyed your presence. “Dabi Boy so cute!” You screamed to annoy him one last time.
“Don’t call me that!”, he screamed in monotone, not even looking back.
You laughed to yourself as you looked at his phone number. you started jumping around while screaming a little bit, making some people turn their faces in your direction. But you didn’t care, you were happy and the world could know this.
You excitedly saved his number on your phone and directly texted him.
“Sick girl texting, bet this is Dabi Boy!”
“I will end your bloodline if you call me Dabi Boy again.”
“So harsh Touya! That makes me sad.”
You didn’t get a response, but you weren’t really expecting one. He was the type of person to only text back when he really felt the need to, but in this situation it wasn’t really necessary.
You were excited when Saturday arrived. You had texted Touya in the morning telling him you’d wait for him. But you being the problematic teenager that you were, came late on purpose. You could feel it, he would call you out for being late because you had told him to not make you wait.
You happily hopped your way towards Touya, who was sitting on a bench with a book in his hand. You plopped next to him and grabbed his arm to get his attention. “So. What’s the planning?”, you asked.
“First of all, you are 20 minutes late and second of all you are the one that set the date so I was expecting you to make the planning”, he said while trying to pull hiss arm away.
“Aha! The answer I expected, but my dear Dabi, that’s not the way to my heart. Try again next time. As for now, I did make a planning so you’ll have to following me”, you happily said.
Of course this wasn’t a date to you guys. He knew this and so did you, that’s why he didn’t feel the need to answer on your remark. it’s not like he wasn’t your type or that he wasn’t interesting at all, it was just that you couldn’t really attach yourself to someone when death was so near to you. Though it was hard, to not feel anything at all.
You allowed yourselves to enjoy today. From walking in the park to eating at an all you can eat restaurant and filling yourselves until you couldn’t even walk anymore. You did everything to enjoy your day and looking at the fact that Touya wasn’t complaining you were sure he was having at least a little bit fun.
“Hmm, what about love interest? What is your type? Or what kind of girls do you fall for, if your interests are limited to girls”, you smugly said.
“Never thought about it”, he just casually said as the both of you walked on the beach with your shoes in your hands.
“Boring”, you sang. “Is there really no girl in class that you think is cute? Come on there has to be at least one person.
“I don’t really pay attention to people I don’t want to engage with. But if I really have to give you an answer, I do think you look cute”, he said without a pause in his sentence.
You felt your face heat up and even if he got at least a little bit embarrassed, he didn’t show it at all. You acted like it didn’t effect you and casually shook it off. “I mean of course you think I’m cute, I look amazing”, you said as you walked in front of him while cupping your face with your hands while you stared at him.
It wasn’t really the best idea to be walking backwards with your instability. Before you knew it you were stumbling over your own feet, but before you could hit the ground Touya had you in his arms to stop you from falling.
You blinked twice, and again, and again. He did exactly the same, shocked about his fast reflexes. He pulled you up, but removed his hands from around your waist the moment you were stable on your both feet. He started walking without another word and cleared his throat.
“Thank you”, you muttered.
There was a long silence while the both of you walked. The sun was setting and you just silently followed behind him. He didn’t slow down for you and you didn’t speed up for him. You followed the steps he left in the sand and noticed how much bigger his feet were. A small laugh escaped your mouth and he confusingly turned around.
“What are you laughing about”, he said. If a random person had told you that same sentence in that tone you would have taken it offensive, but because it was Touya talking you didn’t take it serious.
“Your big toe really is… big”, you said.
He looked at you with a concerned look on his face and that made you laugh even more.
“I mean, that’s why it’s called the big toe?”, he annoyingly said. “You really search for the smallest details to make fun of me don’t you?”
“Well it’s easy to annoy you and your reactions are always priceless. Plus you’re never really offended when I call you out for stuff, that makes it all the more enjoyable. To put it shortly, you’re just able to keep up with my bullshit.”
“God, why must I have been the chosen one. She is crazy”, he said while looking up.
You were quite shocked to see this reaction. He wasn’t the type to say things like this in a sarcastic way. He wasn’t even a person that used sarcasm. So when he said that he kinda just caught you off guard. “He has chosen the words of sarcasm”, you said as if it was a miracle. “You make me prouder with every passing day.”
He looked you dead in the eye, but failed to keep a straight face. You could tell he showed a lot of emotions to you today. You finally understood how his raising eyebrows and slightly widening eyes meant he was excited about something, or how his face tilted up a bit when he had won an argument with you. You were proud to say that you were the reason behind all those expressions and you were happy to have experienced them with him.
You knew deep down that you actually liked him, but telling him would cause a problem. Besides the fact that it could ruin the friendship you had, it could also ruin the fact that he did not care about your death. It was a treasure you held. He was the only one that wouldn’t get sad when your death was mentioned and he was the only one that didn’t judge you for living this way. You didn’t want to loose that. But yet in a way it felt like he didn’t care at all. It felt like your death would mean absolutely nothing to him
He didn’t say anything on that, because he felt the same. He never knew he needed this. He never knew that opening up would lead to him feelings things that not even his books could give him. He was just clueless to those feelings. Calling you cute, was nothing out of the ordinary for him, because for him it was just a fact that could be know, and a not a secret that should be held.
“Oh, let’s watch the sunset there”, you pointed at a place on a rock that was hidden away from the public. He looked at you once before looking at that place. you started walking that way when you received a not of approval from him. “I bet it’ll look amazing”, you excitedly said. “It’s not everyday I get to watch the sunset with you.”
He didn’t budge on your flirting attempt, but looking at his slight rosy cheeks told you you had succeeded in whatever it was that you were trying to get out of him.
The both of you sat on the rock with your face pointed to the view. It was beautiful and it was a good way to end the day. Reflecting on your day with him was something that made you smile. You were able to get the best out of him. The person that did not like taking pictures, allowed you to take selfies with him. The person that was so called emotionless had rosy cheeks when you failed at a flirting attempt. You had seen him smile and laugh. You seen the confusion on his face whenever he didn’t understand something and it was heartwarming in your opinion, because he felt comfortable enough to show you all these emotions.
But here was something you had noticed. Something you had been thinking about, but never brought up. He didn’t talk about you dying for even a little bit. Whenever you brought up the subject, he tried to shake it off. You were confused, but didn’t question it. You were keeping a lot to yourself too so he probably had his reasons.
You tried to lay down on your back as you looked at the dark blue sky, stars almost visible, but just not yet. “Have you ever had your first kiss?”, you asked.
“Nope”, he replied.
“Pathetic”, you said.
“Did you?”, he asked without looking at you.
“Well I wouldn’t call you pathetic if I hadn’t kissed before”, you shrugged,”so yeah I’ve had my first kiss.”
He didn’t respond to that. “Why do you never talk about me dying”, you said.
He saw him tense up, but he didn’t respond. perhaps he didn’t feel the need to answer this, but you didn’t like it. of course it was good that he wasn’t feeling bad about it, but the least he could do was worry.
“I mean, it’s okey to talk about it from time to time, I don’t really mind. I just hoped that you cared at least a little bit. I know I told you that I didn’t like it when people got sad when they saw me, but I feel comfortable around you so I want you to at least care about me and my condition”, you said, in a soft voice.
You had never spoken this silently or with this many sad emotions. You had felt him turn around, but you didn’t look up. He was squatted down in front of you and he tilted your head up with his fingers. His actions shocked you, but he didn’t seem budged by it.
“I do care about you and I do get sad when I think about your future. But because of that I don’t talk about you dying. Because I don’t want you to be reminded of that while you are with me. I want you to only remember good memories when you are with me. So I rather didn’t want to open that conversation. But if you really thought I didn’t car, you are wrong. I care too much”, he said.
He just looked at you with soft eyes and you didn’t know what to respond. Instead of responding, you did something you hadn’t expected. Something that even left you in shock.
You kissed him. And strangely, he kissed you back as if knowing that this was about to happen.
When the both of you pulled away, you had tears falling down your cheeks. “What if I told you I was actually afraid of dying? What would you say?”
His hands were still resting on your cheeks. “I will stay right here with you until the end. I have no intention of leaving.”
