See this is why the longer I spend on the internet the more and more I want to get away from it.
The sheer amount of discourse over:
trans women and men wearing clothes that don’t fit their typical gender identity (e.g. feminine clothes on a trans man and masculine clothes on a trans woman)
The queer and nonbinary folks with they/them pronouns being hated by “real transgender” people, (for the record this was an incident I personally witnessed and I don’t know how many people have this opinion)
Excessive biphobia, as well as lesbians who have dated men in the past “aren’t real lesbians”
There are things within the community are things I don’t necessarily agree with but I’m not here to tell someone their identity isn’t correct if it doesn’t make sense to me I’m here to love and respect them anyways.
The whole definition of being queer is to be different and strange, so what the actual fuck is the point of spending all this time arguing with each other over what label is correct, and who should get to use it.
The more we develop hate towards each other the more the crowd who actually hate us can slip through the cracks.
@butchbussy RIGHT? Like, I seriously don't either. I'm fine with it just as long as men aren't calling themselves lesbians, or like...a lesbian is dating a whole man, cause like, that's kinda what lesbianism means. No men.
But lesbians dating genderfluid people? Pangender people? Just general multi gender people? Yeah, I don't give a shit. Personally, I'm dating an omnigender person and a transmasc genderqueer person. Lesbianism includes *anything* that isn't men. That's my piece.
I wouldn't call myself a "bi/pan lesbian" or "mspec lesbian" cause it's not really for me. I prefer just lesbian, but I respect mspec lesbians fully; as long as they're not dating a man.
I just hate queer discourse, it seriously gets on my nerves. What ever happened to being accepting? What ever happened to being QUEER. Being DIFFERENT?
hey (with the intention of stealing a Lexus, being detectives riding around picking up clues, naming our children Jackie and Wilson and raising them on rhythm and blues)
character idea: vampire, but they're only like 30 years off when it comes to literally anything ever
They just discovered this new band called Nirvana and they have no clue why the local blockbuster disappeared. They exclusively listen to music on CDs because nobody has thought to introduce them to a mobile phone, let alone a streaming service. They randomly bring up events that haven't been relevant since the early 90s and everyone just assumes they're really well versed in older pop culture when in reality they are yet to realise that the world has changed in the last 30 years
On top of this: they are blissfully unaware of anything that has happened in the last 30 years and everyone assumes they're joking when they ask about very significant events. Their only online contact is email and everyone assumes that they just quit social media for their mental health. They still dress the same way, except now teens approach them and say they love y2k fashion. They do not know what y2k is yet. If they were handed an iPhone 6 they would probably implode. But nobody suspects a thing.
flat chested girlies are not nearly as represented as they should be in character design, but i think a very underrated body type to use in character design is girl whose chest is flatter than her tummy
