I... had a dream last night that was scarily alike Anime. Let me describe it here:

Theres 3 magicy systems in the world. 1: Sorcery, You speak words in an unknown language that you dont understand to shape reality. Every sorcerer just intuitively knows parts of the chant and where each part goes… But you need to ask other sorcerers to help put together the chant 2: Magic. It cannot bend reality, but it is basic magic. It is considered(Fairly) far far inferior to sorcery. Most people dont know how sorcery actually works outside of sorcerers, who still dont know the origin or why it works. 3: Some ancient, forgotten magic system I never saw before I woke up

…During the dream there was a protagonistic party in the middle of a storyline involving a figure who was a tall, pitch black shadowy figure with a tophat on and stark white eyes. He was VERY Dangerous and was appearantly connected to some unknown divine politics to the extent he maybe the only refrence to what Sorcery really is on the planet, and yet he was a dangerous antagonist who didnt care to help anyone but his own goals. …he was possessing someone close to a rival party to the protag's party, one of the only truly good people in there(She was kinda dressed like a princess) because the Shadow being was sealed away in an ancient time, possibly by the third magic system.

Seeing him as an existancial threat, as he left after stating he won't stop at anything to accomplish his goals, 3 of the most powerful sorcerers(One from the main party, one from the rivals, one from a comrade in this effort's party) all casted VERY powerful Sorcery spells to destroy him. Using enough firepower to destroy an entire Mansion, maybe a small town…

..He was entirely unscathed and unaffected… And then he approached with a non-screaming rage, and threatened "If you do that again, I will tear you apart so fundamentally that you will be beyond revive sorcery. DONT interfere again." Before gruffly leaving. He is the first thing in the entirety of history to be entirely unaffected by Sorcery Sorcery, which bends and shapes reality, did nothing to him.

…then a thought came to mind… "What if…someone knows how to speak the language that sorcerers do while understanding it…?" "What if someone knows how to speak and understand the language that sorcerers do?" "What if HE understands how to speak the language the Sorcerers do, and knows everything about its origin?" "What if someone knows how to speak and understand the language that sorcerers do?" "What if someone knows how to speak and understand the language that sorcerers do?"- Then I woke up.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, his voice was slightly gravelly but low and still somehow smooth... A voice similar to a deeper version of Warcraft III's Rexxar spoken (Normally)with a lot of elegance but also threat.

You did a bombass job, Its so rare to see a Good Priest, but the voiceacting honestly sold the performance. When a good priest character is made, it may be memorable, but a voice that fits them with the right tone and cadence is what makes them truly feel memorable. I didnt even think of it as you, but it makes sense now that I think back to your voiceacting talent.

Unlimited Shapeshifting is both Terrifying and Amazing. I want it.

To clarify I do not mean Realitybending shapeshifting where you can change your atomic structure, nor something like "I can instantly poof into another form". No, I mean like hardcore shapeshifting, but where you can simply learn and evolve through trial and effort, but nothing limits you to how much you experiment with it minus the Laws of Physics.

So, you still need fuel, you still need time to change shape, your skin cells wont just grow like STEM Cells unless you figure out how to reverse engineer STEM Cell interactions within Skin cells.

Anything in genetic engineering is possible, so imagine for a moment: You arrive into another world suffering "The Demon Lord", but the God of that world gives you a superpower of your choice. You choose unlimited shapeshifting. She comes back to congratulate you as she feels the Demon Lord die, only to see a pile of flesh that has consumed the entirety of their castle and created necromorphs and Resident Evil horrors just to win. You are now the new Demon Lord and must be terminated at all costs.

Alternatively, You revolutionize science and begin the biotechnological revolution, giving others magic and flesh powers, and accidentally become a new goddess to the denizens of the world by the time you defeat the Demon Lord.

And ALTERNATIVELY Alternatively, you could simply become a boy or girl or whatever after some experimenting, and form a spy network that nobody but you and some others possibly know is just you and not an actual network.

Or just become a girl or boy on demand and become a standard adventurer.

You can do so many things with this power, and we could SO easily enact the Trans Agenda on the worl-hemhem...YOU could so easily become a nightmare or a goddess.

I always wondered why its a meme to hate the French online.

I do not look into hateful forums or anything, but it is common to see people who act like "Unfortunately, France Exists in X universe". Never understood why. I looked it up and found one answer which interests me, "the US saw the British mocking French, because the UK tends to mock their cousins and neighbhors...having a respectful rivalry, but the US citizens dont get the 'Respect' Part".

I am curious, do you think that this is just a meme, or do you think people actually hate the french? Do you find that answer I saw(Summarized) to explain the situation or do you have another answer? I have always found it slightly weird, and am curious what others think. I hope that its just I somehow stumbled into a corner of the internet but I doubt it as I've seen it across multiple different genres and platforms. Its always done in a jesting way, very rarely with actual SERIOUS rants about problems with france, just like "Ew the French" or "Unfortunately the French exist in X universe".

Prioritization vs Importance

Prioritization and Importance are not the same thing, yet a lot of people act as if they are and believe they are completely linked to the point of merely being components. I disagree entirely.

Prioritization is the order of performing tasks and what is deemed to go in what order.

Importance is the amount of affect something has, wether it be from more effects or less. No, that ^ is not a typo, the effects of something matter less than the affects. Effects are short and immediate, Affects are change that stays. Effects cause Affects, but generally the Effects caused by Affects out-stack the Effects initially caused.

However let us get back to the original topic and let us review scenarios to exemplify the points.

You are a Savior whos tasked with Saving the World. You HAVE to save the world or you cant live in it, thats the most important thing you have to do. But do you prioritize it? Yes, but is it the top priority? No, you have to prioritize yourself. Why? If you are not in shape enough to fight the Evil Destroyer Dragon, you cannot win. If your armor is broken, you will perish immediately. If you lack a weapon that is competent, no damage is dealt. Prioritize yourself above the World, yet context ideally affects Prioritization. If you are in the point of competence and able to fight the Evil Destroyer Dragon then yes, prioritize that over you. Why? Because the World is more important. You prioritized yourself above the world because the world is still there and not in IMMEDIATE danger, only close danger. But the moment the dragon emerges, ready or not you must change priority or die.

You are a Housewife who has been asked to go to the Game for your son. You are cooking food when he asked, so do you immediately abandon the food to go to his game? Depends on what is being made and how much attention and time it will take. Prioritize finishing up what you can before the time comes to go and see. Prioritize observing how much time it will take to get to the game first, then prioritize how much time you have left until it is too late to expend the needed travel time. Then prioritize how long the food will take to finish. Prioritize analyzing the environment for assets that can affect the situation. If you have time, prioritize finishing up what is immediately here. IF you have leeway and can easily do both but the food wont be done in time, prioritize the game and return to finish the food. If you have no time to do both, prioritize what is more important first.

Both of these scenarios are different scales and different situations yet show both that priority and importance are not the same, you do not just abandon everything you have to accomplish immediately the most important thing, you prioritize the important things(never deprioritize), but you instead prioritize what is needed most immediately above what is needed more overall, however this arguement can easily be twisted into forgetting importance and merely focusing on "in the moment", that is not a good idea. Importance has weight, immediacy has weight too, but the best way to apply it in my opinion is this: Put the most important at the top UNLESS it is within SAFE bounds of leniency, if there is something more immediate that is within this SAFE Bound of leniency of the timing, prioritize it first, but this is a multi-layered tower. Importance may vary, but regardless of comparative difference, all importance is still importance. Apply what you can when you can, but do not fail to do important things over unimportant things, yet do not fail to do things that are less important than others.

Knowledge vs Understanding vs

Application/Adopting

Knowledge is the basic holding of tidbits of information.

Understanding is having the shape of the information and thus being able to change and affect this shape to create new Information or simply register.

Application/Adopting is having information applied to affect you and how you interact.

These are not exclusively mutual. These can be independent from eachother. For example:

"I know that fire is elemental". This is knowledge, wether or not it is correct or not does not make it any less of being information.

"Fire is hot and made of explosions happening in a wave pattern that grows in a simulacrum of life" This is Understanding, wether or not it is correct or not it is a shape of information, having a shape of what fire is as a concept.

"I hit a rock once, and it started a fire" This is application/Adoption of Information. You do not need to understand why it happened, only that it did. You gain knowledge of it happening if you witnessed it. But if a fire started when you walked away, it is still an application and adoption of principle even if unintended.

It is possible to understand a concept but not know it, this is often seen in "OH you put this feeling into words!" situations.

It is possible to Know a concept without Understanding it.

It is possible to apply information without knowing or understanding it, such as being unintendedly malicious to someone bad. You do not need to understand the sadism adopted there nor do you need to know that it is sadism, but it is still sadism nonetheless and still in effect.

But too, it is also possible(And very realistic) to Know and Understand a subject to a high degree, but be unable to apply or adopt it. This is something that a lot of people have an issue with but, ironically do not understand it, and those who do, do not always adopt it as part of their caution even if they know they aren't. It isn't always hypocrasy but it is generally common to find among hypocrites.

I have spent most of my life over-focusing on Understanding, shunning Knowledge and failing to apply lessons. I do not know why my failure to apply lessons happens even when I attempt to. So, I am learning to try and gain knowledge as well, so I may find an application of methods that allows me to apply my lessons and understandings to myself, too. Try and follow all 3 of the paths, because if you do not you will collapse even if you're intensely associated with one or two of the three.
