actually i lied i might write this one and then lay down since my stomach hurt. i, dumbly, decided to quickly drink a bottle of water in less than 5 minutes and its kind of upsetting my stomach. "oh im dehydrated, let me just get all the water in now to solve the problem faster" no you dumbdumb!! thats how you get queasy!!!
oh hes going to ask you to mimic just about everyone in the circus. him, pomni, bubble, kinger. literally everyone. this includes NPCs too, if they can speak hes going to ask you to try to mimic the voice
god forbid he finds out you can copy sound effects too... youd never hear the end of it
no but hes going to have so much fun watching you just. switch up your voice
i dont know if this was just me, but do you guys remember watching people do cartoon character impressions and being totally mesmerized by it/impressed? thats caine. like yeah sure its safe to assume he can probably also copy other peoples voices, with him being an AI... but seeing someone else do it just hits different!

AITA for telling my coworker what to do?
I (26f) am a nurse. Alex is a tech. She's 29f. In case you don't work in Healthcare, typically the way things work is you have the registered nurse, then licensed practical nurse, then the patient care tech/certified nurse assistant. The licensed nurse is like a registered nurse, except there are a few things they can't do.
Anyways, Alex is a tech and in school to become a nurse. I know she is nervous about her tests so far. We worked together and are assigned the same area. We talked on and off throughout the night, and everything seemed to be going well! We laughed and joked, we had serious discussions pertaining to family. All seemed fine.
I noticed after another nurse's patient had passed, Alex became quiet. I assumed it was because the patient had passed away (please note we had no direct care with this patient).
Well, she went to go do something in one kf my patient's room. I asked her "hey, when you're in there do you mind getting the vital signs?" My thought process was, if she is going in the room and waking them up, why not get vitals to consolidate care. Now, vital signs are the techs job to get. She only said "yeah I know" and didn't do them. Which meant she would have to go back in the patient's room in an hour, waking them up again (its the middle of the night).
I didnt say anything, its her the patient's will get mad at not me, I do feel bad for the patient's to get woken up again though. I do not say that to her.. i said nothing about it.. An hour passes, and she's sitting on her phone. I don't really care once the work is done. I look up from my phone, saw that it was getting late and asked, " What time were you planning to get vitals-"
Alex cut me off and said," im not stupid I know I need to do it." I immediately responded, " I never said you were. Im sorry if it came across that way uhh I...sorry?" Alex responded "You telling me I need to do vitals, I know when it needs done. It makes it seem you think I'm dumb." I responded "I dont think you're dumb. I genuinely just wanted to know when you planned on getting the vitals because I also have to go in some rooms and we can go in together. Consolidate care. That way they can sleep"
She rolled her eyes but went to get vitals *which i didn't even care if she got that second or later* and I said again "i really am sorry if it offended you that wasn't my intent. I don't think you are dumb." To which she said "uh-huh, yeah okay".
We have worked together a few other times and she's never said or acted like this. I recalled all of our conversations throughout the night, and there was nothing that could have been misconstrued to her thinking I thought she was dumb.
Before we left i asked if she was okay cause she seemed upset and she brushed it off (this was my attempt to let her tell me she was hurt or not).
I dont know what I did to cause her to think she was dumb, I understand in theory what she was saying, but nothing had happened of me telling her what to do prior to that moment, and in my mind even then I wasnt telling her what to do j was asking her. I thanked her for her help multiple times throughout the night, and before we left after j asked if she was okay I said thank you for your help.

He actually loves his curly hair but refuses to be taken as a joke so he keeps his hair buzzed. (Too many people said he looked soft with his curly hair long)
If he were to step down from the council it would be to adopt a child. DONT ASK ME WHY I JUST HAVE A FEELING HE WOULD OK.
Use to be reckless and wild until he accident hurt people he cares about which set him down the path to becoming what he is today.
Is more up to date with the times than any other ancient elf. He is actually surprisingly patient and loves to learn the new stuff no matter how hard he tries to bullshit it and say he doesn't care and all that emo bs.
If he cares about you he's very attentive and does a lot of silent acts of service; like making food and having it sent to you and all that jazz. But it's hard for anyone to get in his heart, mostly because he takes his job seriously.
Definitely not straight. His sassy ass is most definitely bisexual but also not really into anyone. He just thinks everyone is hot and doesn't think much farther than that.
The OG emo/goth but when he was younger he was the OG punk/scene kid. Don't ask, I just know it ok.
When not sober he's literally the softest and silliest guy ever: one time he flirted with Emery while drunk (he made an excuse the next day saying he thought Emery was a women while drunk. It was a lie. He knew.)
Switches from the parent of the council to the bratty child who doesn't like complying with the group.
Very close with Oralie, even before Sophie. He was one of the few people to support her and actively gossips with her. They are besties your honor.
He used to be much sillier and laid back when he first joined the council but after the thousands of years and all that he's seen he learned to become cold and do what has to do.
Out of all the council he would be the least likely to have his mind shatter from guilt: especially if the guilt would be murder of any kind. He's seen a lot and he's desensitized to it in a sense. He wouldn't feel an ounce of guilt if it was to protect the helpless.
He is very against hurting helpless people in any kind. He was only aggressive with Sophie because he knew she wasn't helpless and that she was probably dangerous; He never wished her to be harmed in the way she was. Even when inflicting he went easy on her.
I also think he only basically bullied Sophie to push her to be better to prove him wrong. He did not want her to be evil, so he was the bad that pushed her to do good ifykwim.
Likes to nap any chance he gets. He just likes how comfy his bed is tbh.
Not fond of land animals unless they're fluffy as all hell and adores sea creatures.
Use to hate change when he was younger and now he's so used to change that he handles it the best out of anyone on the council.
Mourns his old friends as if they were dead because he cannot connect with anyone due to his job. Secretly thinks of Oralie and Emery as his friends but never tell him. (They know and they also don't say anything.)
Emery and Him have kissed. I just know it.
Disassociates a lot. Dawg is traumatized, like he's been alive for how long? Ain't no way he ain't traumatized.

6. izumi - i joke that he's my problematic fav but i think what happened here is he has the perfectionism illness that leads to self destruction and mean approach to loving others. and i understand this on a level due to people in my life, i think he deserves a caring hand and should also get shoved a couple times. like once a year. i got obsessed with ironic blue and i Never went back im not sorry. ALSO HE'S SO EASY TO BOTHER i think kaoru should challenge him to more shit it's incredibly entertaining, those two <3 there's something wrong with him and He knows it and Everyone knows it, No One here is acknowledging it though!

I'm glad to hear it was a joke, but "I'm sorry you were offended" is not an apology, it's a deflection and snide mockery of the person you are talking to, and the fact you may not realise or intend that makes it worse. Please dont unironically use that. Yikes.
Look, I really don’t mean to hurt you by saying this, but it’s just not that serious. Apologizing for any hurt that may have been caused is not “deflection and snide mockery,” it’s an apology. Maybe it could have been phrased better, but honestly, the level of aggression you’re expressing diminishes any amount of sympathy I may have felt for you.
Learning from your mistakes and correcting them is a part of growing. I didn’t realize ff.net was banned in certain countries, and you informed me of that (perhaps in the rudest way you could have, but you did do so) and I reacted as respectfully as I could. I edited the post (which I doubt you checked) to remove the more aggressive language, and added /j in the tags. I corrected any further offense that may have been caused, and apologized to who was offended already.
The way that you reacted tells me that you really didn’t care about offense that may have been caused, you just wanted to harass someone for a simple mistake. And no—not realizing or intending something in a certain way does not “make it worse”—if that person continues to display that kind of behavior after being corrected, then yes it does, but ignorance is a common experience. The way people react to being corrected and informed is what really reveals their character. People are and should be allowed to make mistakes and grow from them.
You’re right that I shouldn’t have said “I’m sorry if you were offended by it;” that was poor phrasing on my part. If you’d like me to rephrase: I apologize for my ignorance, and I will make an effort to be more mindful in the future. But again, that sentiment was reached in my previous response, and you chose to take further issue with it and extend this exchange beyond what it needed to be—and make it more hostile than it needed to be—simply because you wanted to cause problems.
