I didn’t even think about that part with Pav! That’s so fucked. You know now I’m wondering how he would’ve felt knowing that his friends were gonna also let that shit happen! Like “Gwen, you were really just gonna let that happen to me??” She has no defense because we literally watched her not only do just that, but try to prevent Miles from disrupting it.

yeah. I think Miguel has an order to either take dream weaver out, or to capture them. But dream weaver is pretty good at out maneuvering them.

Sunny being kicked out would get a compliment from them if anything. Like “nice job.”

I'm imagining a scenario where everything is the same except Gwen stopped Miles. Like, how that conversation would go. She probably didn't think she would ever be THERE when another spiderperson's canon event happened, she's probably completely unprepared to deal with it.

Pav would react to the event the way you'd expect, of course. Crushed. I think if Gwen was right there, she'd want to comfort him afterwards somehow, especially now that she played an active part in making sure it happened. Maybe she timidly approaches him in the immediate aftermath, says something like, "listen, I know it hurts now, but it was supposed to happen." Because she knows a lot of spiders take comfort in the idea that there was nothing they could do, that the tragedy makes them Stronger.

"Gwen." Hobie warns.

But its too late, cuz Pav is looking at her and asking "What do you MEAN it was 'supposed' to happen?"

And Miles is looking at her too, wondering the same damn thing.

I would like to see that conversation play out.

okayokay i just made a new tumblr account to see what they've changed (besides the "for you" being default.), and they are totally pushing it more than an old user would realize

im logged into this account in one tab and the new one in the other and tumblr is REALLY confused and im not sure where this will post but thats besides the point.

anyways when you sign up it gives you this

which is very comparable to sites/apps like pinterest and tiktok that have a personalized algorithm. when you scroll down its just random shit like Automobiles and Education. this is not pinterest. it censors stuff like sex but does NOT censor stuff like 'pee kink' . Notably!

anyways i picked some very normal interests (random shit i could think of, i left pee kink because Haha Funny) .

it then forces you to follow people! there is NOT a search, just a few trending users. it makes you pick 3 out of 10 users, one of them is the merch account, at least for me.

once you go into the actual website it looks like this! note 'for you' being default. there is NOT an option that i see to change this. this is what i was trying to look at before i ran into all the other shit haha.

Latest example 'when you're late coming home and I don't know why I get worried about you and think perhaps there has been a car accident and this is why I send check-in texts' = distressing concept, explains the texting as something other than controlling behavior but still sounds neurotic and may increase any aversion felt toward it

'When I don't know why you aren't home yet I start to think maybe you got eaten by a car' = funny, sympathetic, likely to make such texts less burdensome to receive.
