Notes: Gender neutral. No use of pronouns for the reader.

Summary: You leave lipstick marks on your lover's face.

An idea popped in your head as you hold your lipstick between your face and the mirror. You called out and beckoned your puppet boyfriend to come over to you.

P, whose mind was busy on coming up new ways he can find to pet and hold the hotel's favorite cat, walked over to you right away after putting down Spring from his hold on your bed and made sure he was safe and comfortable. It's hard to see it from his expressions, but he's always happy and eager to spend time with you in any kind of activities.

Your hands slowly reached out to his face. He didn't know what you were trying to do, but he trusts you and let you hold his face.

You pressed your lips against his forehead gently but firm, then to his cheek, then to his nose, then to all over his face. P closed his eyes, enjoying the feeling of you painting his face with your kisses... literally. (But he didn't know about it yet.) It was relaxing. If you didn't stop and he had the ability to sleep like a human, he would doze off.

After you're done, you let go of his face to admire your work. When you get to look at him, you burst out laughing. P tilted his head at you in confusion, unaware of what you did to him. Your lipstick marks were everywhere on his face, covering some of his freckles. It was a cute sight.

The thought of letting your boyfriend roaming around the hotel and Krat, not knowing of the lipstick marks still stuck on his face, is tempting. Just imagining the possible reactions coming out from your beloved when he realized the reason why people are giggling and giving him funny looks when he looked at his reflections is entertaining to you. Evil, but a bit entertaining, no? You agree with me, right?

... But you don't want to know the possible reactions you can get from a certain engineer when he found out what you did to his son. So you decided to wipe them off.

Before you wiped them off with your handkerchief, you told P to look at the mirror as you chuckled. His head turned to the mirror and blinked at the sight of his face. He was a little stunned at first. He brought his face closer to his reflection in curiosity, tilting his head to different angles to get better view of your work. His fingertips were carefully touching on the marks you left on him.

The way he looked at himself made you think that he was... amazed of your lipstick marks on his face.

When you cleaned his face, if you look closely, he was a little sad that he had to get your lipstick marks off his face.

The next time he saw you holding a lipstick, he would stare at you, as if he is expecting for something from you, like a dog waiting for his owner to give him treats.

Sophia/Shadow Stalker's Trigger Event definitely involved her running for her life.

Having little Miss "You're either a predator or you're prey" have gotten her superpowers whilst being the prey and keeping that as a dirty little secret that she would rather die than admit to anyone just feels absolutely perfect.

It makes her just another traumatized teenager using her powers to take back some semblance of control over her life in a world that is objectively nuts. It also fits with her relationships with a few different characters.

Emma: Sophia has no friends outside of Emma, even Madison is more "Emma's other friend who's around sometimes" and they meet during what would have been Emma's Trigger event if she was a Cape....Sophia is, in a messed up way trying to be the person she never had in her own life; revealing that there's something more to her under all of that anger and cruelty.

Brian: Shadow Stalker wants Grue to be her nemesis so hard it hurts and honestly, if Brian "I'm going to lie about my Trigger Event" Laborn is going to have a nemesis then making it a Sophia who is similarly hiding her own insecurities and refusing to show weakness or vulnerability in front of anyone is just perfect, it makes them narrative foils.

Taylor: Remember the line where Sophia sees that Taylor took up running and loses her shit about it "You wanted to be strong so you copied me by running" or something to that effect....Gives it new context doesn't it?

Imagine:

You're on the track team in junior high.

The fact that all you can do is run is what saves your life.

You get superpowers designed to help you escape and still you refuse to ever be the victim or run away again.

You're forced to stay on the track team in high school just to keep up appearances.

The girl you've been bullying finally gets a bit of a spine, she's finally getting stronger.

Sophia:

she will cry

like seriously

she will cry a lot.

when she gets a call from Harvey or the mayor (like in one of her heart events), every sad emotion she ever got from when her parents died comes flooding back all at once.

she is so sad.

she does not want to let go of you.

she's a little bit mad but also mainly said/ so, so, so, so, so glad you're ok.

she says she didn't know what she would have done if you'd died. She can't even get the word "die/died" out. She just stops before the words.

after you get out of the hospital she helps you home and doesn't leave your side, like at all unless you tell her to. (she'd probably be a bit upset honestly.)

she takes time to help you with your farm

I feel like she'd get to know your animals really well if she didn't already.

as you get better she feels more relieved and relaxed but can't help but worry on the inside a lot.

She doesn't want to have to see you like that again.

you try to assure her it won't but she still can't help but worry a little bit.

Olivia:

Olivia seems like the kind of person to be calm in a lot of situations.

but when her farmer is hurt she rushes over to the clinic. (lucky she lives so close, like almost right next door)

she has a few tears in her eyes

but she is so glad to see you are as alright as you can be.

I feel like she'd try really hard to hold it together but when she's all alone she cries a bit.

she lost her husband coming over here from the grotto empire

the fact that you got hurt was just too close, far too close for comfort

I'm not sure how helpful she'd be on the farm

she's not exactly someone I'd imagine being good at something like that

I bet she'd definitely hire some people though

with your consent of course she'd hire people and make sure everything got done the way that you'd want it done

she'd come over all the time and spend time with you and make sure you were ok.

Claire:

at first, she'd think she's hearing things.

but when she realised she's not just sleep deprived

she rushes right over

she's shocked at what you look like

she seems like the kind of character to cover her mouth in shock.

after the initial shock she'd never let go of your hand I feel like.

any spare time she has if she's not at her job (either Joja or the movie theater later on), or at home, I feel like she'd be with you until visiting hours are over.

after you get better she'd help you home.

she doesn't have a lot of spare time but if she did I feel like she'd be there to help you

Idk if she knows about farming at all.

but she knows she doesn't want you to be exhausted like she has been in the past, especially with an injury that needs healing.

I think she'd help out less with farming and more to check on you to see how you're doing.

Lance:

lance knows that when it comes to the guild getting injured is a part of the job.

but that doesn't mean he doesn't get worried

he seems like the kind of person to keep it together really well and be brave

but when you two are alone his facade kind of drops and you see how worried he really is

alternatively if he was there when you got hurt he rushed to your side immediately.

trying to help you in any way possible and getting you out of the area where you got hurt, whether it'd be the mines or anywhere else.

any time he has that isn't helping out the Stardew Valley guild is spent with you.

when you start to feel better, enough to go home, he helps you get there and makes sure you're safe.

I feel like you two would have a conversation later on when he says, "I should have been there."

if he can't protect you how is he supposed to protect the valley or The First Slash.

It definitely bothers him.

but when he sees you getting better it bothers him a bit less.

he'd also help you out on the farm, lifting heavy objects and helping you out whenever he could.

Victor:

victor is not someone who ever ventures into the mines.

so after he learns of you getting hurt in the mines he's honestly terrified.

still, he rushes right over nonetheless.

he's relieved to see you.

also feel like he'd try to be strong and hold it together but once the room is empty he'd start to cry a bit.

similar to his mom he's reminded of how he lost his dad escaping the Grotto Empire.

he can't help but think of that seeing you lying there in the hospital bed like that.

after you're good enough to go home he'd help you back to the farm.

he'd also try to help you on the farm as best as he can

I'm not sure how well of a job he'd do. He doesn't do a lot of hard work. He spends a fair amount of time reading. So I'm sure he has some knowledge of farming but never put it into action like you've been doing all these years.

still, he tries. You might have to direct him on what to do though.

I feel like he'd try and have a discussion with you about being more careful about going up to the mines and doing things for the guild.

he just wants you to be careful.

~ Magnus (Edit: forgot about him oops) ~

Magnus has seen a lot in his life

also knowing about the guild and the monsters in the mines he knows you go there for things like copper, iron, gold, iridium, and minerals. (also you accomplish quests for him sometimes)

he's loved and lost twice whether it'd be his wife the Witch or Caroline (idk if this cannon in vanilla sdv)

he definitely isn't willing to lose you too

but after learning you got hurt he would teleport right to the hospital

he wouldn't even bother with running there (why would he when magic is faster)

also dealing with Pierre is something he doesn't want to do frankly

If Harvey is in the room at the time when Magnus teleported in there he'd definitely scare the crap out of him.

he'd be very worried and also I feel like he'd be a little cross

he thought you were more careful than that

but more relieved you are alive

he'd probably have a million questions

what happened, what did you do before this, did you break any bones, were there any monsters around, what did this to you, etc. The questions go on for a bit

I don't think he's big on expressing emotion

like he prefers to keep it inside so he doesn't show his emotions too much but if you two were ever alone he might

he lets his expressions out when you're asleep especially

when you're good enough to go home Magnus might help you home by teleporting you there.

AuDHD Cedric The Sorcerer Headcanons (With Autistic S/O)

Coming from someone with AuDHD with an autistic best friend, I can't stress how much source material I have to speak about this sifkdiieis

FIRST THINGS FIRST. SENSORY ISSUES GALOREEEEE. That man will shrivel and die if he were ever in the modern era and came into direct contact with a microfiber towel.

A secret Headcanon I have (outside of the reasons I listed in my first headcanon list about Cedric!) Is he wears gloves BECAUSE Cedric has sensory/texture issues. His potion ingredients seem incredibly bizarre at times, and I'm sure the textures of them just get overwhelming at times. If you're wondering why the fingertips are exposed, he might need the extra grip to handle delicate objects, etc etc.

His robe is basically a weighted blanket, argue with the wall. He needs to be regulated somehow, and he's still a nervous wreck anyways

We know Cedric's speech is affected by his audhd. Dude has pedantic speech, overly emotive or deadpan, his volume control is non-existent when excited.

Expanding on that, his tendency to mix up words for spells seems a little... Neurospicy, on top of the anxiety

Forgets spells constantly. Not actually forget how to do them, just forgetting they exist cuz adhd

Has CHRONICALLY turned his workshop inside out because the thing Cedric was using just disappeared after he set it down!

Cedric is so genuinely shocked by kindness from Sofia even though she's consistent with it. That can definitely be trauma, but also feels like a lack of emotional permanence

Prone to more shutdowns than meltdowns. But as we know, shutdowns inevitably lead to meltdowns anyways. I hc that Cedric is definitely seen as "melancholic" because his mood shifts as well as masking (poorly) his mental state after having meltdowns in private

So...

I mentioned it before (At least I think so), but Sophia is a good example for having the right to be selfish.

Hear me out. When she tells us that she woke up P for her own sake, because she wanted to be freed, I first felt kinda shocked and disappointed (totally silly in the end). What do you mean you did it for yourself? :( *slaps past me*

But here comes to thing. It was her right so be selfish, since it also meant saving everyone else. Sophia was Simon's source of power. She was the person who collected the ergo for him through her powers, making the experiments possible in the first place while also suffering from him doing his best to strength her powers and maybe even keep her alive (this part is mostly a headcanon of mine, since it looked like she was bound to a machine... And I honestly don't think she would have survived such treatment for such a long time).

Sophia was the source of the carcass and mutations, so saving her was the first stop to end one of Krat's nightmares.

Anyway, that alone is one good reason in my opinion to show that her wanting to be saved in the first place was totally deserved. Also... Yeah she knew that she needed P to become stronger to save her, to collect Ergo and other things (to be able to get to her). But while he did that she also reminded him of the people, that he should help them and she reminded him about doing things for himself. Sophia supported P in his journey and his changes. She probably would have been able to get him faster to her, but no, she took her time for everyone's sake.

This post is probably unnecessary (and has a lot of error ughhh), but I really wanted to talk about this since I am still amazed about her role. Also, sweet reminder... Her wanting help in the end is pretty much a reference to the Blue Fairy in the book getting really sick and poor needing Pinocchio's help, which ended up not just saving her. Oh no, it was also the last step to get his humanity.

And we all know what we needed to do to get the 'Rise of P'-Ending... Our true humanity.

Hey, fair warning, this is kind of a longer ask. So, since the SVE farmer seems to be strangely talented with magic (like how they made iron into gold without even being told that it's possible), I headcanon that they can get a little… carried away with their magic experiments. How would the SVE bachelor/ettes (maybe the adventurers and mages too, if that's not too much-) react to the farmer accidentally turning themself into an animal? Like a wolf or a cat that looks like them and has their eye and hair/fur color, for example. Maybe the Farmer ends up using their paw to write a message in the dirt explaining what happened

Magnus Rasmodius:

It takes Magnus just a few seconds to realise what has happened to his apprentice. Farmer in the form of a cat doesn't even need to try to do anything, the old wizard immediately picks them up and teleports to the tower to change Farmer back. Magnus had magic in his veins, and he could sense whether the animal before him was an ordinary animal or an enchanted one. Plus, he's also had some failed attempts when he accidentally turned into a frog, and his colleagues had to... Um, let's not mention it. Magnus would immediately return the Farmer to their former appearance, and would also strongly advise them to do such magic with him. So there'd be no more... awkward situations.

Lance:

As with Magnus, Lance sensed almost immediately that something was wrong with the animal in front of him, which the adventurer had never seen on the porch of his friend/spouse's farm. Magic flowed in his veins too, and sensing the magical aura around the poor animal was no problem for Lance. Alas, he can't restore the Farmer to their former image, but he knows he can turn to Magnus or Camilla. After the incident, Lance praises Farmer for their talent in magic, but advises them to do it in a safe revenge and notify the older mages or him beforehand.

Victor:

Victor mistook the enchanted Farmer for a stray cat, and therefore for at least a few days the young man did not suspect that it was his friend and not a lost poor pet. Then when people began to wonder where the Farmer had disappeared to, Victor, without knowing it, noticed, besides very similar features of appearance with his friend, also strange behaviour. Well, strange for a cat at least. And when the spaghetti lover came across a book in his library about all sorts of myths and fairy tales, when people could turn into animals, he became paranoid. So he decided to take this cat and go to the strange man in the tower to confirm or deny his theory.

Sophia:

Today Sophia decided to take a walk in the forest, closer to that unusual tower, and her scream immediately scared away all the animals in the forest. The girl is understandable - how would you react when you were chased by a wild wolf? When she fell down and started crying, waiting for the end, the wolf started sniffing her and... comforting her? She was so shocked that she even stopped crying. Next, the four-legged beast, which Sophia would later find out turned out to be Farmer, would try to write a message for Sophia with its paws. True, even if the girl believed in the intelligence of the wolf, she still does not believe that this is her friend and not an evil spirit. Still, she decides to listen to her compassion and think about how she can help them.

Olivia:

Olivia always thought that turning into animals, magic, and other occult things weren't just another charlatan's trick. But she's been going to Rasmodius' house for several nights, and now she knows it's all true. And her son's strange cat, which he "found near the bus stop", made her think. The cat has the same eye colour as Farmer's, the same coat colour as their hair, and yet... No, it couldn't be. Farmer was just delayed in another adventure, not lost. Still... Olivia would quietly pick up the cat and take it to Magnus that night, or else the woman would be tormented by intrusive thoughts.

Claire:

Claire couldn't understand why a raven had chased her to the bus stop on her way home from work. She couldn't possibly be a threat to the chicks, could she? Their nest is high up in a tree. So what had she done to make the bird so angry that it was so determined to keep her off the bus? Claire could have put it down to sleepiness, but when the raven said the words "Farmer", "trouble", "help", it made her worry. The raven sat on her shoulder and began to direct with the words "there" and "here" the girl in the direction of the farm so that she could help. The poor cashier still doesn't understand what kind of help the raven needs, but since she's already agreed, she'll help. And yes, Claire is going to faint later when she helped the Farmer to change back. Oops...

Bonus - Marlon:

Who would have thought that for Marlon, hunting a hare for his future stew, would end up being another hard day. It wasn't that the hare was difficult to catch, quite the opposite. The big-eared lump, you could say, came to him, but this hare did not behave like a hare should. Little animal was running around, banging it's paws on the ground and... trying to draw symbols? Marlon realised at once that it was an unusual hare (he knew too well about magic and sorcery to be surprised). But when the little beast was able to write a message for the one-eyed adventurer with its paws, Marlon sighed tiredly and took the hare in his arms. As the two of them walked to Magnus's house to cast a spell on Farmer, the old adventurer, in the manner of a strict and caring father, began to berate Farmer for being so careless in their use of magic. Because it could end in a pitiful way. After all, hares he usually become a frequent prey of predators....

Lady Antonia: She showed him the library and teached how to search for any type of books. After a long day fighting outside, he comes back and relaxes while picking up a new one to talk about with her. She really appreciates every time he comes within different doubts and thoughts.

Fun post S1 headcanons

Sylvie hops to other times on her Tempad on her days off. So she's discovered new music, some of which may or may not have gone in a playlist/mixtape she's put together as a coping mechanism. She's gone to concerts, shopped in other eras and times, had flings, seen movies and had girls nights out. Like any normal 40 year old woman, though she's been told she could pass for anywhere between late twenties and early thirties. Minus the multiverse hopping.

When she said she wanted to try everything she really meant it.

She got a nice house and truck via enchantment on her 1982 branch, she got it very soon actually. She took driving lessons, and just wanted to speed up the process. So she got a decent roof over her head permanently, a mode of transport so she doesn't have to walk or run everywhere, she can finally live a normal life. She has friends, has nights out, a stable job which she's really good at, lots of customers are nice because no one ever crosses her...and in the cleanest way I can put it, she has flings.

She doesn't let herself fall in love though, she's having too much fun and that's the only reason she'd give anyone. The other reason she'd only ever admit to herself is very depressing, but she's trying to fake it til you make it.

She never stops overnight at a lovers house, because she struggles with nightmares. I don't have to spell it out what her nightmares entail. So, she's not really happy, but she's trying really really hard. She is enjoying life, but it would be more enjoyable if she and Loki ended up figuring out things together

A random Shadow Stalker Headcanon.

On top of her "Predator or Prey" outlook Sophia Hess is also fifteen and currently stuck in the deepest pit of her teenage "Not like other girls" phase (Okay this one comes from a scene in 'Mixed Feelings' where she's offended at her definitely purple crossbow being called pink)

But she also has genuinely brilliant comedic timing, I've made a post before about Oni-Lee being one of the Capes with quips and banter earlier in his career and Shadow Stalker could absolutely be that if she wanted to....The problem is she just takes herself far too seriously to ever let herself do that.

General Sophia Monad headcanons:

Tell me what you want, yes she woke up P to save her, but that doesn't mean she isn't happy that included saving the people of Krat too. I can imagine that she feels really guilty, since her powers helped Simon with his experiments.

Even tho, I imagine her to be in a lot of pain because of Simon's treatment... She still generously smiles. Seeing P change... Becoming more human. It makes her happy. In general the good things make her keep on believing in the end of this nightmare.

The people of Hotel Krat may not see her, but Sophia sees them. She loves to be around the Hotel. Seeing all those people keep going on reminds her how beautiful life is.

Here, have one for the y/n out there. Sophia and y/n probably met and fell in love before everything. But she disappeared. But don't worry, even tho Sophia can't be there and her powers depend on the ergo... She will still send out a butterfly... To get a glimpse of you from time to time. She truly misses you.

Also Sophia in the 'Rise of P'-Ending is not only the happiest woman... She is also the most grateful one. She tries her best to connect the awoken Puppets with mankind.
