Cried while driving home today, then panic attack after got home and got more bad work news. Stress levels through the roof. I decided sometime around half 5 to give up being productive and applied tiger balm to my burning shoulder joints and walked the dog. Then I gave puppy a bath and made dinner, chicken curry. I then cuddled with boyfriend and the dog and we talked a bit about our moods. We've both been a little depressed lately then I've had this colossal work week. At least it's due to end soon. I look forward to having a drink tomorrow (albeit with work colleagues, at least it's the fun young ones!) I do feel better now and I'm hoping a decent night's sleep helps further. Applying HALT a lot recently.

Camila Rodriguez hasn't seen her older sister, her best friend, since she was eight years old and the Inhuman Outbreak began. It was the coolest thing when Elena would grab things off the table without even moving, but it quickly became terrifying when she decided to fight government corruption.

Eventually, as Camila knew would happen, Elena was taken by the government, and Camila was relocated to New Jersey with no real explanation. That didn't stop Elena from reaching her, somehow, some way, leaving her post cards from her travels over the next few years until suddenly, they stopped.

Years passed, and Camila chose to go to AvengerCon, spotting some of her classmates in the crowd. And then one of them has to go and use superpowers, something she's been avoiding for the past eight years.

Yo-Yo's backstory is a little bit of combined MCU and comics here; in the comics she's Puerto Rican, in the MCU she's Colombian, and the actress who portrayed her is Mexican-American. I decided to make her character largely follow the same backstory as in the MCU, but combine her comics heritage with Natalia Cordova-Buckley's, both because it made sense when casting Jenna Ortega and for elements of Camila's backstory.
