Chapter 2 Spoilers

This is not a full translation. Expect grammatical errors. Not 100% accurate.

Trigger Warning: This chapter mentions guns.

Nobunaga: “Oh? It seems like you’ve brought back a souvenir.”

Mitsuhide: “Yes. After mediating a dispute, I traveled through villages, investigating the details of the conflict.”

Mitsuhide: “And this is what I found.”

He placed a small, shiny black gun on the floor.

(This is not the common gun you see, is it?)

Masamune: “This is rare. You can use this gun with one hand.”

Nobunaga: “It seems to be a recently imported firearm, judging by its latest design and features.”

Nobunaga: “It’s expensive and not something you can easily get.”

Nobunaga, holding the gun in his hand, inspected it intently.

Hideyoshi: “Mitsuhide, where did you find this?”

Mitsuhide: “Guess where. It’s actually a pretty hard place to imagine.”

Hideyoshi: “Stop beating around the bush.”

Mitsuhide: “That’s right. This one belonged to a farmer.”

Mitsuhide: “And it’s not just one or two.”

Hideyoshi & Masamune: “..........”

Nobunaga: “Is that the only village where you found it?”

Mitsuhide: “No. Even the samurais serving under low-ranking daimyos possessed the same type of firearm.”

Mitsuhide: “I bought them all so they would never be used again.”

Nobunaga: “..........”

Upon receiving the report, Nobunaga looked at the gun in his hand as if lost in thought.

Nobunaga: “Mai, are you confident you can handle this gun?”

Mai: “Huh? Me?”

Nobunaga: “Yeah.”

Hideyoshi: "Guh!"

He stepped back as if he had been repelled.

I held my hand back, clenching it as I almost touched him in a panic.

Nobunaga: "Hideyoshi, are you the only one who feels it?"

Hideyoshi: "Yes. Mai is fine."

Masamune: "You're sure you're not mistaken?"

Hideyoshi: "I wish I was."

After that incident, I tried to confirm with Hideyoshi several times, but he was repelled and felt intense pain every time we touched.

The pain gradually increased, and we continued to have days where we couldn't touch each other.

Mitsunari: "Then why don't we try it out with Lady Mai to check?"

Mai: "Huh?"

Ieyasu: "It's worth a shot. If we all touch you, maybe we can figure it out."

Masamune: "Then I'm first. Mai, you don't mind, do you?"

Mai: "But it might hurt."

Masamune stepped forward and held out his hand to me.

Masamune: "Don't be scared."

Mai: "Then, just for a moment."

The moment I fearfully put my hand on Masamune's hand一

Masamune: "Kuh..."

Masamune's face contorted in pain.

Hideyoshi: "Masamune, are you okay?"

Nobunaga: "Mai, how are you?"

I silently shook my head, keeping my eyes down.

Mitsuhide: "Then I'm next."

Mai: "You?"

Mitsuhide: "Why are you surprised? It'd make sense for all of us to try it."

(Not only Hideyoshi but also Masamune felt the pain. I'm sure Mitsuhide will feel it, too.)

Mai: "That's enough. Let's stop. I can't make everyone feel pain."

Hideyoshi: "Mai."

Normally, he would gently stroke my head with his large hands, but he held back, making fists in his lap.

Ieyasu: "What are you talking about? We're gonna finish this."

Mai: "Ieyasu..."

He looked at me with a stern expression.

Ieyasu: "We're gonna find out what really happened to you."

Ieyasu: "Everyone here has decided to cooperate, prepared to endure the pain, so stop whining."

Mai: "........."

Mitsunari: “If it’s for your sake, he’ll do anything to help you. As expected of Lord Ieyasu.”

Ieyasu: “Hey, don’t talk nonsense.”

Mitsunari: “It’s not nonsense. I just thought it was important.”

Mitsunari: “Lady Mai, Lord Ieyasu is right.”

Mitsunari: “The fact that we’re here means we’re ready.”

Keiji: “Yeah, he’s right. Don't worry. We can handle a little pain without a problem.”

Ieyasu: “That’s why I’ll keep going.”

Mai: “Yeah. Thank you.”

Mitsuhide: "I see. It's more than I imagined."

Ieyasu: "My turn. Mai, give me your hand."

Mai: "O-Okay!"

Mitsunari: "Then, I'm next."

Ieyasu reached out and took my hand in his.

Ieyasu: "Kuh!"

He removed his hand from mine as if he had been pushed away.

Mai: "Ieyasu!"

Ieyasu: "It's fine. Next, Mitsunari."

Mitsunari: "Yes, Lady Mai, excuse me."

Mitsunari extended his hand to shake mine, but he was immediately pushed back.

Mitsunari: "Weird. Why is there so much pain just by touching her hand?"

Ieyasu: "What the hell is going on?"

Masamune: "Everyone is the same, huh? I didn't expect it to be this bad."

Nobunaga: "Mai, come here."

Mai: "You too?"

Nobunaga: "Of course. Hurry up."

Following his powerful voice, I went over to his side.

Nobunaga: "Touch me. No need to be shy."

Mai: "Then, if you'll excuse me."

He nodded, and I lightly touched the back of his hand with my fingers.

Nobunaga: "----!"

Nobunaga: "I see. Okay."

With Nobunaga’s powerful voice, I prepared myself.

I put my hand on the maid.

Nobunaga: “I see. I knew it.”

Nobunaga: “You can go back now.”

Maid: “Y-Yes.”

The maid left the hall without even knowing anything.

Masamune: “Nothing happened, huh?”

Mitsunari: “Yes, she didn’t seem to feel any pain.”

Ieyasu: “Mai, you touched her for sure, right?”

Mai: "Yes, I touched her."

Completely confused, Hideyoshi, standing by me the whole time, spoke up.

Hideyoshi: "I'll be the last one."

Mai: "Hideyoshi..."

Hideyoshi: "I know you're scared, but come."

(Maybe this time it will be okay.)

With our gazes locked, we put our hands on top of each other.

Thump!

Hideyoshi: "Ugh!"

His hand was violently knocked away, and his face contorted as he fought back the pain.

Mai: “Hideyoshi.”

Mitsuhide: “Wait, Mai.”

He stopped me sharply, and I quickly stopped myself just before I touched Hideyoshi.

Hideyoshi's typical gentleness pierced my heart deeply, making it more painful.

Nobunaga: "Mai, I have a rough idea of what the anomaly is."

Mai: "Huh?"

Nobunaga: "I don't know the cause, but anyone who touches you is pushed away and feels pain."

Nobunaga: "And the closer that person is to you, the more it will hurt them."

Hideyoshi: "Mai, wait!"

Mai: "Hideyoshi."

I turned around to see my beloved chasing after me.

Hideyoshi: "Calm down, Mai."

Mai: "Don't come here. If you touch me again..."

(I don’t want him to make that painful look again.)

Hideyoshi: "If you don't want me to touch you, I won't. I'll keep my distance. But please wait for me."

I turned and looked up at him as he blocked my path.

He had a serious and scary expression.

(I know he's worried about me.)

Mai: "Thank you. But until this confusion calms down, let me be alone."

Mai: "I'm sorry."

Hideyoshi: "........."

After a moment of hesitation, Hideyoshi fell silent and, with a pained expression, nodded and lowered his chin.

Hideyoshi: "Okay. Call me if you need anything."

Hideyoshi: "Don't worry too much."

Mai: "Yeah."

Level 65 - 5 Years, 5 Months On Testosterone

Well, it's been a hell of a long time since I last did this. Almost like a pandemic happened and made me forget because there were slightly more pressing matters at hand. But it's just past trans day of visibility, so figured I should provide some sort of update here.

First big change since you last saw me do this is that I got top surgery. I'm now about two and a bit years past when it happened, and it wasn't completely smooth sailing. Surgery itself went fine, but I ended up having some of my stitching come out during recovery. That's, like, a whole other story, though. It could take up several paragraphs here. I got the periareolar one done, with my chest being just on the borderline of being too big for it, but I begged them to let me have that one, as it'd always been my preferred one if possible.

I'm still trying to get on the waiting list for bottom surgery, but even trying to get through to the GIC to make progress is a nightmare right now. I don't help my case by being someone who absolutely despises making phone calls, so I only try getting in touch by email. I've asked to be put on the list, twice, but I have not received any confirmation if it's happened. Really wish that I wasn't dependent on this whole GIC system, but here we are.

Besides that, in terms of testosterone changes, things have been pretty stable for a while now. My voice hasn't gotten much deeper for like a good couple years. I am a hairy boy - saw it coming, thanks to having beheld my dad swimming, and seeing that we were three for three in having facial hair among my grandfathers and dad as well.

I am still a very physically weak man. Exercise took a backseat for a lot of the lockdown period of the pandemic, as well as me doing very little exercise post-surgery on surgeon's orders. I've really only started picking it up again relatively recently, after moving out of the house I always take these selfies in (my old room - now my dad's work from home office - still has a mirror in it). I can do only about 15 push-ups before I have to stop for a breather, as my endurance has remained atrocious. I managed to do ten bicep curls in a row per arm with dumbbells weighing 8.5kg each, but I truly just reached that point. I can do like 100 sit ups on a workout bench or 50 on the floor in mostly one go, though. And I can do a plank for like two and a half minutes on a good day. So, y'know, I'm not in terrible shape, but I could be better. I want to do bouldering more regularly, but that requires breaking my existing routine to do so, so I find it hard to go very often. At least me and my flatmate walk in to work some days.

I have gained a noticeable amount of weight, compared to my last update, but that's honestly more to do with the fact that I moved out and got a job. My flatmate works at the same place I do, so we go to work at the same time. So I actually eat breakfast every day because they'd quickly notice if I didn't. Lunch is covered by our work, but it's Deliveroo from select places, so it's not the healthiest stuff we have as options. And dinner, again, flatmate and I get back at the same time and make dinner together most nights. Might not seem like a big deal, but before I had a job and moved out, I regularly slept in and didn't have a proper meal until dinner time. So funnily enough, I'm not surprised jumping from one meal a day to three has caused weight gain.

My mental health is an open question as always. I've described myself as "one thing going wrong away from a mental breakdown", and I still think that's accurate. I'm still on meds for anxiety and depression, and I still feel noticeable effects when I forget to take them. I don't think they're going away any time soon. Top surgery has helped with some of the mental health stuff, since it's one less thing for me to worry about on a daily basis, but... y'know, bottom dysphoria still exists, and it's bad. I did make some friends during university which helped to make things tolerable when I definitely otherwise would've been alone, since I pushed a lot of my high school friends away after I dropped out. I'm not in a relationship, and not only do I have limited desire to be until I learn how to take care of myself better, but I still have no idea what anyone would see in me.

I never know how to end these things. I don't know when I'll next remember to actually do one of these, because it's been a long-ass time since I did it before. Maybe I'll do a more detailed update about my top surgery experience. Maybe the folks that follow me ain't here for this, but if my post makes it across the dashboard or in the search of another person going through it, maybe it'll be helpful.

It's kind of why I started doing this in the first place.

Okay time for the Ihehshk and Pen lore I promised

I recently posted that my asks are open and that I'll be answering them with illustrated answers! In that post I shared an image featuring a Drathah character and a human character that I haven't shared before! So that's what this post is about! Those two and their lore and also their refs. For some context, there exist in my mind Two Time Points, from which various stories on Thardahk take place around. The one I visit more frequently, and from which I reference more of the events and story lines of Drathah history and individual character events, takes place in the year 1148 on Thardahk. It's the first point I thought of, the one I think about more often, the one during which more of my characters and stories take place around. For the Drathah it's a rather unassuming year, but a lot of things happen just before and just after. It's sort of the equivalent to 2019/2020 for us. Technically in the past, but a lot of shit happens so it doesn't feel like it, and during that time we had no clue what was headed our way. The other point in time is 1219, which is where Ihehshk and Penjani come in. 1219 is sort of Thardahk's sci-fi space age. Thardahk years are weird, so even though all the other characters are "only 70 years older" one Thardahk year is THREE human years, so actually over 200 human years have passed. (This is just reminding me I haven't talked about the Thardahk calender/times for things on here yet...) Earth and the human race are also highly advanced. I originally said earth was 500 years in the future, but I might change that to be less. Faster then light travel, planetary colonization, genetic modification, other advanced sciences and medicines, as well as a completely different political landscape. I haven't worked out all of the bits and world building for this time of the Drathah story, because as I mentioned it's pretty secondary to everything else. I like sci-fi but I struggle to write it. 1219 is sort of my fun playground compared to 1148's more serious story writing. It's for me to consider how humans might interact with the Drathah, and vice versa. It's for fun silly space stories.

But in order to explore these fun silly space stories, I need characters through which to explore them and tell them! And so Ihehshk and Pen were created! Ihehshk are both Astronaut/Scientist/Social ambassador folks! They're part of a human and drathah program, where various kinds of folks from both species hang out as essentially roommates, and teach each other about their languages, cultures, science and technology. They're sorta coworkers sorta roommates, but they are genuinely friends! Pen really likes talking about human cultures, and learning about Drathah fashion and holidays. Ihehshk really likes talking about history and learning about Earth's animals and human technology. Also yes, their height difference in the asks post is accurate. Please ignore almost all of the numbers on Ihehshk's reference. Those numbers are no longer cannon. The day and month of their birthday is still correct, but not the year. (Thardahk has 17 months. I promise I'll share the calendar publicly eventually......)

Also here's a fullbody so your can see all of Ihehshk's patterns. 100% sfw and not even rude. The Drathah have way looser modesty customs and also no visible physical differences between sexes, and they're furry, like your dog, so yeah, sometimes if the weather's nice and they're just loungin about they don't wear clothes. ‘Sozin’s Comet, Part 3: Into The Inferno’

I'm finally reaching that dreaded point in my re-watch where I don't really want to continue because the episodes are so good but they're also so painful, and I'm afraid that they might be too painful for me to see all the good in them, but... I guess we'll see.

Everything that needed to be said about Azula's descent into complete breakdown has already been said by @juniperhillpatient in her review. I am not going to sob all over my keyboard retyping the same 100% accurate truth.

Okay, I'll say this about the Sokka, Suki and Toph attacking the airship fleet. Sokka operates far better when he isn't given the time to come up with a plan. Also jeez, but tiny metalbending knight Toph is awesome and frightening AF. Sokka's birthday party plan WAS a really good and inspired one, though.

The Siege of BSS continues to annoy me because of how unnecessary it is. If things worked out as Iroh's prophesized destinies would have you believe, then Ozai goes down, Zuko takes over as Fire Lord, and the FN garrison in Ba Sing Se would end up surrendering sooner or later. Forcing this battle is just killing people who didn't need to die.

Okay, Ozai did get to do a little bit of burning, but it's not like that was a lot, so... can't give him too much? 40 Jerk Points. Also, for taking off his clothes before fighting Aang, like... why? That's very inappropriate. I did not pay to see that. 40 Jerk Points because eww. Also, for mocking Aang while celebrating the Air Nation genocide, Ozai gets another 100 Jerk Points.

As much as I don't like the idea of Azula and Zuko fighting the Agni Kai, I think it's kind of ridiculous to suggest that it shouldn't have happened, because everything has been building up to this, and if you don't recognize that, well, I'm sorry to say that maybe this show's narrative might just be a little too complicated for you to comprehend. I do want to slap Zuko a bit for the 'I think she's slipping' comment, but I think that's mostly sloppy writing. Let's not place unreasonable expectations for Zuko to identify a mental health episode. He DID notice that she wasn't herself. And also, sorry... but on this day, Azula needed to be stopped, for many reasons, also for her own sake.

I have questions about Zuko taunting Azula about lightning, though. Azula has been holding off on lightning bending, probably because she knows it will be redirected. So, does Zuko want her to use it so that he can redirect and kill her? Zuko was already dominating the duel. We have seen several Agni Kai before, and none of them ended in death, but this would have certainly increased the risk of that happening. Because this is mostly a tragic encounter for them both, I didn't want to hand out Jerk Points, but I almost feel like I have to do that here. I'll give 100 Jerk Points to Zuko, but I'm willing to hear more charitable explanations for Zuko's actions here, and maybe I will adjust this score accordingly.

I've already posted my meta about the Agni Kai and cheating, and upon this re-watch I am totally amazed about how right I was with that meta. Azula won the Agni Kai, but was then overthrown in a coup. That's the only right way to read this for people who don't like to be wrong.

Today we’re taking a ferry and enjoying a night cruise at Victoria Harbor.

This is the Star Ferry that peaks at the top, and it’s familiar to residents and tourists in Hong Kong.

Oh, it looks like we’re leaving.

If you look at the Hong Kong site, it’s amazing.

I’ve seen many night scenes all over the world, but this is the first time I’ve seen them so beautiful.

As expected, it is said to be a million dollar night view, and it’s Hong Kong.

It’s still to early to be impressed, the main event is about to begin.

It’s already 8 PM. It starts next, so watch it.

This is the Symphony of Light. It’s a light and sound show made possible by the searchlights on top of the skyscrapers. On an important day in Victoria Harbor, I wanted to show you this show, so I took a night cruise.

🌃 Track 6: To Macau by Ferry

For now on, we’re taking the ferry to Macau. It’ll arrive in about 50 minutes.

While it saddens me to leave Hong Kong, but more than that, I’m looking forward to going to Macau.

Macau is renowned for its casinos and is said to be the Las Vegas of the East.

If you’re new to casinos, I’ll teach you my rules. Roulette and blackjack are easy to remember, and Macau has a lot of historical architecture, and it’s has much fun as Hong Kong, which is a renowned world tourist destination, or even more.

That’s good, now let’s get on the ferry.

The ferry has canceled? I’m feeling a little sick.

There are some interesting attractions, just look out the window as they’re on right now.

Look, you can see people jumping off, that’s the best bungee jump in the world! You have to experience it when you come to Macau Tower.

Then how about a full sky jump instead? You can adjust the fall speed with wires, so you can fall more slowly than bungee jumping.

This is the central location of Macau, which has been recognized as a World Heritage State in Sendo Square.

Beautiful cobblestone with a beautiful cityscape and pastel colors.

Macau used to be a colony of the Portugal, so there are many buildings like this in Southern Europe.

Since we’ve come all the way here, let’s take a walk around the World Heritage townscape.

At the top of those stairs is the Ruins of St. Paul’s in the west, Macau’s most famous historic building.

Majority of it was destroyed in a fire with the exception of the front. At the time of it’s construction, it’s was the largest Catholic Church in Asia. There’s even a theory that Japanese Christians who were exiled from Japan were involved in its construction.

Wait! If you climb the stairs in such a hurry, you’ll fall and get hurt! Look out!

I did it again. If I hadn’t saved you, you would’ve fallen down the stairs and hurt yourself.

This is what happens when you leave me, so don’t make me worry.

Self indulgently, supernatural dashboard osmosis?

The main thing I know about Supernatural is that if I ever complain about something I don't like about the writing on Buffy, and it gets more than about twenty notes, there is a good chance that one of those notes will be somebody saying "oh, yeah, Supernatural also does this, but much worse". Despite the criticism, this person will almost always be a fan of Supernatural, probably to the extent that their tumblr is about nothing else.

More generally, the relationship between tumblr and Supernatural is (I am led to believe) analogous to the relationship between tvtropes and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It is difficult to imagine one existing without the other. (I have, unfortunately, watched several episodes of BBC Sherlock and I actually quite like what I've seen of Doctor Who, but the impression I get is that -- for better or worse -- the 'Super' part of Superwholock has had a much longer lasting impact on this site's culture.)

As for the actual plot:

Sam and Dean are brothers and they hunt monsters because ... uh. I think it's a family business of some sort? Their father also used to hunt monsters, but I don't think he's around anymore. The show starts out as a Buffy/X-files-style monster of the week deal, but the show keeps escalating its threats and is never canceled, so by about halfway the 'monsters of the week' are Biblical archangels or Lucifer and the actual Big Bads are ... God, I guess? The Demiurge? Something more powerful than that? The world ends at least once. (This might just be a Heroes-style Bad Future, but Sam and Dean definitely spend some time on the wrong side of an apocalypse.)

The show's writers are very sure that both Sam and Dean are straight. Nobody who has actually watched the show agrees. The few characters on the show that the writers admit are gay do not live for long.

One of the brothers dies and goes to hell but he gets better.

At some point in the show's history, probably after one of them has been to hell, they adopt(?) a child called Jack who is basically the antichrist. He grows up to be a moody teenager (like Connor from Angel). Then he dies and everyone is mad about it.

Misha Collins plays an angel called Castiel who falls in love with one of the brothers at some point; I don't know for sure which but I think it's Dean. (The actor who plays I-think-he's-Dean is Jensen something but I'd have to google to be sure of a last name.) At least 50% of Supernatural fan discourse is about Castiel; people seem to like him.

Presumably women also exist in the world of Supernatural, as well as all the ghosts and demons and Biblically-accurate angels, but I could not tell you the name of a female character on this show if my life depended on it.

In November 2020, in the final(?) episode of the show, Misha Collins confesses his love to presumably-Dean and is immediately sent to (super)hell, the show having already established that going to ordinary hell is basically fine whenever it was that one of the brothers went there. As far as large parts of tumblr are concerned this is the most significant thing to have happened in world history that month. This gives birth to the only Supernatural meme I 100% know is from Supernatural, the "I love you" / "[news of recent horrific event]" one.

The show was on the air for about twenty years. At the end of it everyone in the cast was utterly sick of it and never wanted to see each other again. About a year later, they started filming a prequel, which everyone involved in the original show came back for except for probably-Dean, who famously reacted poorly to this on twitter. (Screenshots of this meltdown are, I think, the only time I have ever seen the actor's name.)

I can't believe I already missed on the 2nd day 😔But it's okay because I said so! And because I didn't plan to post every single day anyways.

Recently I've been thinking a lot about my friendships throughout my life, specifically how distant a majority of them have been. When I was in school I would pretty much find an entirely new friend group every year and almost completely stop talking to whoever I was friends with the year before, it usually wasn't because anything bad happened that ruined our friendship or anything like that, it's just that the few months of summer break in between school years was enough for us to drift apart. It's extremely rare for me to keep friendships that last longer than 3 or 4 years max, and even most of the ones that do last longer still aren't that close. Even my oldest friend, someone that I have known for pretty much my entire life, I cut contact with for nearly 3 years over misunderstanding the severity of a situation that barely even involved me, we started talking again a few months ago, but it's pretty obvious that our friendship is somewhat strained and it's 100% my fault. I really hate that I'm like this, that I've always been like this, that I'm so horrible at forming connections, and in the last few years, especially during the worst parts of my NEET period, I've come to realize how massively detrimental it is on my life as a whole and especially my mental health.

A couple years ago a friend that goes by M@ said something to me that like, really changed my perspective on how little I've truly connected with people in the past. It wasn't anything big, it was just a simple, innocuous, kind of out of nowhere question after I changed my profile picture on Discord from what it had been for years before that, an OC I had made for a server called Endless War, to an Umineko character (there's my daily obligated Umineko mention +1 Umineko point!). He asked something along the lines of "Gurren, when did you go full anime?" (Gurren was what I went by online in most spaces up until very recently), which at the time fucking blew my mind, this person was one of the people that I had talked to the most within said prior mentioned community, a community that I had been a part of for multiple years at that point, and yet I shared so little about myself that they didn't even know that I was that into anime. For reference, my Anilist profile says that I have completed 334 total anime (this number isn't entirely accurate because it includes shows with multiple seasons, for example Teekyuu alone takes like 10 of those spots, but point is, beeg number) so basically I've watched a lot of anime, I've been watching anime for a majority of my life, a lot of my hobbies and interests are directly related to anime, I am really into anime, and I guarantee that M@ was not the only person who didn't realize that, because I never mentioned it. I never talked about myself or my interests ever, I always felt too self-conscious about myself to do so, like that I would annoy everyone around me and that they would hate me if I talked about things I liked, and it resulted in really weak friendships with even some of the closest people to me. Believe it or not, sharing stuff about yourself doesn't necessarily make you self-centered or annoying, it just makes it a lot easier for people to relate to and connect with you.

Honestly it's not easy opening up to people still even after acknowledging that I desperately need to do so, but I really want to change that. This blog is one small part of reaching that goal, because even if I can't easily integrate mentioning stuff about myself into normal conversations, I can at the very least have a specific space that I can use exclusively for that, because here I'm pretty much just talking to myself, and opening up to myself is slightly easier than opening up to others, and like yea other people can read me talking to myself, but like, I don't care lol. Therefore I'm allowed to talk about whatever the FUCK I want here, and nobody can stop me, and that's why my next post is gonna be about this really cool Genshin Impact statue I got the other day like it's so cool I can't wait to talk about it like it's the coolest.

But yea having close friends that you enjoy being around and that enjoy being around you is kinda awesome and good and I love my friends :)

I’m watching the new season of Alan Davies As Yet Untitled, and I’m enjoying it. It’s a very good show overall, the premise being that it’s a panel show without the constraints of other panel shows. No format points to hit, and therefore no rushing the panelists through their stories so the host can get to the next autocue moment. It’s just five people (Alan + four guests) talking about stuff. All of season 7 was released the other day.

Having said that, tonight I came across this moment from s07e03, and it’s just… really weird. So weird. Like. Isy. Why would you do that? You didn’t have to. You had your own stories to tell. There was no good reason to reach for that one.

This brings up two things that we know happen in comedians’ stories on panel shows and in stand-up: changing details in a story that really happened, including sometimes taking a story that happened to someone else and pretending it happened to you; and straight-up plagiarism. The situation in the above video exists in a weird spot between those two things.

The first thing is definitely happening at some point in that clip – I don’t know exactly how, but between those two stories, someone’s lying. Based on other times I’ve heard this story told (because it was a staple of John Oliver’s stand-up for a while, I’ve heard it a bunch of times), I think it happened before he moved to America, so it probably took place in London, and he’s pretending it happened in New York to the American audience. So he probably also changed the word “twat” to “douchebag”, for the story.

If he did do that, or changed any other details, that’s absolutely fine. I don’t think anyone expects a stand-up comedian’s stories to be 100% accurate. In fact, I really hope he changed those details, because if it did happen in London, that’s the best case scenario for Isy Suttie. Best case scenario is this really happened, and it happened back when John Oliver and Isy Suttie knew each other in England, and after it happened in real life, he told her the story not as a bit of comedy, but just as a part of his day. If that’s what happened, then what she did in that Alan Davies clip was take the real-life story of someone she knew and tell it as though it happened to her, which is common practice on panel shows and basically fine.

Except that in this case it’s not fine, because while that may have started as just John Oliver’s story, it became John Oliver’s stand-up bit, and it’s been that for many years. And while changing details in a real-life story for comedy is fine, stealing other comedians’ material is not. It’s also just a really weird thing to do when there’s no real reason for it, and when it’s so easy to get caught. I don’t know if there’s a huge amount of overlap between people who are familiar with John Oliver’s mid-00s-to-mid-2010s stand-up repertoire and people who watch Alan Davies As Yet Untitled in 2023, but… there’s at least one person in the middle of that Venn diagram, and that person is me, and I am confused. Why, Isy? So many things have happened to you in the almost twenty years since this would have occurred. Surely you have many things from more recent periods of life that you could talk about. Or at least, stories you could steal from people who have not repeatedly told those stories in their own stand-up act, including, as evidenced in the above video, on television.

I mean, I guess the best case scenario for Isy Suttie is she actually was with John Oliver on that train, so no one’s lying here (except John Oliver, because if Isy Suttie was with him on the train then presumably they weren’t in New York). Like how there are several jokes that John Oliver and Andy Zaltzman have both done in their separate stand-up shows, and regularly tell even when the other person isn’t around, but that’s fine because they originated in the Zaltzman and Oliver co-writing days. So no one’s plagiarizing, there are just a bunch of jokes over which they have joint custody.

I’m pretty sure that’s not the case here, because I’ve actually heard Isy Suttie refer to this story before, on her own podcast. A reference that I won’t dig up, but she did not describe it as a train journey that she was also on.

Anyway, it’s interesting, isn’t it? Where the line is between changing details in a story, changing identities in a story, and straight-up joke theft. I put those clips together and have posted them to show a case study in that, but whatever way you look at it, I don’t think Isy Suttie comes out looking great.

I mean, while I’m looking at all possible options, I guess it’s possible that it really did happen, but it happened to Isy Suttie, and she told John Oliver the story, and he wrote it into his stand-up act as his own. That would be an option where they both come out looking fine, because she hadn’t turned it into stand-up, so he wasn’t taking her comedy bit, he was just taking her story. But that doesn’t seem very likely, for lots of reasons including what she said on the podcast.

It’s also possible that it really did happen after John Oliver moved to New York, which would make Isy Suttie look even worse, because in that case she’d have learned the story from his stand-up act, rather than first learning it because it happened to someone she knew. In that case there would be no grey area, that’s straight-up joke stealing. But I’m pretty sure this did originate as quite an early John Oliver story.

The premise of Alan Davies As Yet Untitled is that they all tell stories throughout the episode, and at the end, they come up with an episode title that’s based on their favourite line of the night. At the end of that episode, Alan announced that he’d decided to name this episode: “Well Well Well, We Seem to Have Caught Ourselves a Twat”. I thought Isy looked fairly uncomfortable when they cut to her after that, which could be me imagining things, or it could be that Isy Suttie told that story sort of off the cuff, knew it might not have been a great idea, and was displeased to learn that it would have to make the edit so the audience could understand the title.

It’s just fucking weird. It’s such an old story. I’d have more clearly understood what she was doing if she wrote it into her own stand-up show. That would be a fucked up thing to do, but premeditated plagiarism is at least a known phenomenon. It makes less sense to me why she’d do it in this context, when she didn’t even have much to gain. They were in the middle of a well flowing discussion, there was no pressure on Isy Suttie to come up with anything to say in that moment. Why steal someone else’s material just for a quick story on a panel show?

I mean, maybe it never happened. Maybe John Oliver and Isy Suttie came up with this falsehood together in 2002, while listening to Tom Waits or whatever. Actually, that would be a great explanation. It doesn’t seem at all likely, but it’s my favourite of all the possibilities. They’d both be in the clear in that case. There are technically no comedy rules against spending 2002 sitting around inventing businessmen who get their heads caught on trains.

In your headcanon, what does fizz do to help with his bladder and bowel problems? Does he have to do intermittent self-catheterisation to ensure his bladder and kidneys are emptying properly and stay healthy? Does he take any medications or use suppositories to avoid long periods of constipation? Or can he just manage it better with other lifestyle changes?

I’m not actually quuuiiite sure yet! But I do have some ideas.

First off, he takes a shit ton of medications, at least one of which is a stool softener.

He wears incontinence pads almost 100% of the time. Mammon used to buy him really, really cheap ones, so Fizz would go through them quicker, and give Mammon more money. Once he lives with Ozzie, however, he can afford really, really good ones, all by himself instead of having to go through Mammon.

For sleeping, he has multiple alarms set up throughout the night to wake him up to go to the bathroom. Even still, despite the frequent alarms, accidents do still happen, which leads me to my next point.

Fizz has pretty severe medical PTSD, and because of that, he absolutely refuses to see a doctor as much as he possibly can. Things like a catheter and/or a colostomy would make his life a whole lot easier, but he’s so terrified of a hospital setting and the concept of surgery, that not even Ozzie can get him to go. Because he refuses to get surgery, he opts for significant lifestyle changes to work around everything.

One of the first things he did was figure out how long his constipation episodes typically last before his muscles finally open up. Of course, it’s not 100% accurate, but still pretty good. On the days he predicts he’ll finally be able to shit again, he requests that day off (or tries to, at least), and tries to make things as comfortable/easy for himself as he can. If he’s able to have the day off, he wears what is pretty much a low-key diaper, along with very loose-fitting clothing, and camps out next to his bathroom. Typically, he has a few seconds to react when he starts to feel it, but only a few. Hence, the diaper and loose clothing.

As for when he can’t get the day off, well… he tries his best to make things easy (which I haven’t quite figured out what that would be, yet), and sometimes it works out, but more often than not, disaster strikes.

Class Favorites: Movie Ranks! (Part 1)

This is a ranking of all the movies I saw for the first time in 2023. Since the writers and actors were on strike for a good chunk of he year, I only did one full length movie review in 2023. I was also a little burnt out from the last few years where I "made" myself write full reviews for almost every new movie I watched, so I took the strike as my okay to for the most partjust consume.

That freedom led me to watching 40+ "new" movies this year and I wanted to just come rank and rant at you for a minute. And thanks to very short mostly 1 lines on Letterboxed I don't have to rack my brain too hard. I will say though before we get too deep into the explainers, just know that a lot of how I ranked these films is based on re-watch-ability, so don't get mad that some of the better made films fell shorter than you'd like.

I decided to break it into 2 parts cause the post would be too long otherwise.

PS: Not in backwards order cause I can't be bothered.

1) Can't Hardly Wait (1998)

Let's wait 4 years to tell the girl you're in love with, that you love her, while the grad party before the rest of your lives takes place.

I know I'm behind on this one, but I made it and we're it's supposed to be lol. Yes, there are movies that I ranked higher than this one because they were probably just better overall movies, however good or decent 90's always shows my bias. But also Ethan Embry 😍. Can't Hardly Wait just fits with all the other classics of it's time and I think that's what ultimately does it justice. Obviously it didn't age great, I'm acknowledging it's faults, but neither did some of its peers and knowing where it came from we're letting that part slide. It is what it is with this one, sorry not sorry.

2) Alabama Moon (2009)

*Based on a book of the same name by Key Watt. Your father doesn't trust the rest of the world, so you learn to not trust it either and now that he's gone you have learn how to survive in the world outside of your woods.

Not 100% but I'm pretty sure this movie made me cry and that's partly why it made it to the top of the list. I'm a sucker for a spunky "family" movie and this one just tugged at me. There were some parts where it was a little silly in the "bad guy" area and I also called the ending "disingenuous" but all that aside, I was here for everything else. I probably liked it more than most but again I'm a sucker for a lot of this ish and it wasn't bad by my standards. It also does a little ACAB, which doesn't hurt lol.

3) Are You There God? It's Me Margaret. (2023)

*Based on a book of the same name by Judy Blume. When changes arise in Margaret's life, she starts talking to God to see if she can find the answers.

I read the book several years ago and had planned to re-read it before watching the movie, but didn't get around to doing that, so I can't remember if it was accurate to the source material or not, so going beyond that, I can say that I liked it. I liked how awkward and coming-of-age it was. I like the questioning and I liked all the prayer for the big and the small, to the silly and the honest. I also really loved the parents relationship, they were just super cute. There was a bit of confusion at the end with my understanding of the conclusions Margaret came to, however setting that aside, it was still rather sweet and would totally recommend to the young and the old.

4) Leap Year (2010)

When another year passes and your boyfriend has not proposed to you, you're obligated to take matters into your own hands and do the proposing yourself. Obviously like all romantic comedies, accidents will happen along the way.

Another one I'm late on, but y'all that was actually rather cute. It's one of those ones where you're not sure in the beginning and then it does the thing and drops the feels and you can't deny the fact that it did what it said it was going to do. It's a 2010 rom-com and I think it did that era justice.

5) A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints (2006)

*Based on an autobiographical book of the same name by Dito Montiel. Dito returns home after his mother's request because his father is sick and relives why he left in the first place. A bunch of kids who don't have much, but are fighting for what little they do have.

I thought this was a very decent movie. It kept me engaged and the acting was good. Now I never want to hear Channing Tatum shout racial and homophobic slurs ever again, but outside of that, for those into raw indie movies I think you'll like this one. It's good outweighs the bad. I'm not sure but I might have also cried a little during this one too. All I know is that it dug a little bit and that was enough for me. This is also one of the lesser known films for this cast, but worth the watch cause they got some strong folks in here and I don't think they'll disappoint you.

6) Runt (2018/2021)

When you're bullied, eventually, sometimes you fight back. TW: For violence, sexual violence and animal abuse.

I had a little moment of Cameron Boyce movies this year and of the few that I saw, Runt was the best one. This was his last movie before his passing and I could for sure see why people liked him so much. Cameron pulls you in and is so likeable. I know Cameron Boyce being in it wasn't enough for everybody, so do with that information what you will. Now beyond Boyce, this movie could have been better and more fleshed out, but I was for sure engaged in what I was watching and that was good enough on my end.

7) Mystery, Alaska (1999)

A small town in Alaska bets it's home town heroes against the New York Rangers.

I've watched the trailer for this movie in front of several VHS tapes for most of my life and because of that it was always on my to-watch list. Several years ago I found a sealed VHS copy and this year I finally unsealed the thing, because #NoSealedTapes. One thing to know about me is that I'm not big on sports unless you put it in a movie and preferably in the family movie era of the 80's, 90's and mid 2000's. So did it live up to the hype? Only once you take away the misogyny and leave the hockey and the underdog tale. Despite it's faults it did alright and plus I saw so much "crap" this year, that I'd take a few 90's misogynistic comments over some of the other, way more offensive things I consumed this year lol.

It also won me over because they were correcting people on not using the slur for Inuit people back before I knew it was even a slur. Like folks been tryin to tell us.

8) A Look Back: Dog Town & Z-Boys (2021)

A short documentary follow-up to the original documentary Dog Town and Z-Boys and it's impact.

This didn't rank higher mainly because it was less than a half an hour long. I love the original documentary and this addition brought attention to some of the things that I wondered about after seeing the full documentary, like the lack of girl skaters that were highlighted, so it just furthered the love. When the people involved also see falls and aren't denying them, I say that's a little stand-up-y and I support it. Now could they have just done better the first time, absolutely, but it is what it is. I also watched this during a re-watch of the Hollywood film which sparked me to watch other little skating docs on YouTube and I just gotta say, man do I love skateboarding culture!

9) Ashby (2015)

Ed Wallis has the high school assignment of interviewing an older person, so he chooses his ex CIA neighbor (didn't know that at the time) and stuff goes down.

I watched this on YouTube one night and it wasn't a waste of time. I gave a lot of 3 stars this year and this one truly was decent. It might have been a little far fetched in some places, but it really tried and I enjoyed it. Also father figures are all around us.

10) Keith (2008)

Popular vs unpopular, smart vs slacker. Rich vs poor. Let's pick on you because we like you. I just want to save you, but I don't know what from. A tale as old as time.

I thought I'd seen this one before, but apparently I hadn't. Well I've seen other iterations of the same story before, but no I had not seen Keith in particular. Yes there are so many other movies that tell the same tale, and came before and after this one, however as long as it makes an attempt at being decent I'm gonna watch it. Of course it does the feel-y thing and makes you root for the underdogs. It also gives does the thing where we want to chuck the current ideas about our future away. Oh and you're always saving someone lol. Essentially there have been plenty of movies post 2010 that do the same thing (I counted 6 in under a minute) and we've never turned away, so if you watched and remotely liked any of the "new" guys, you'll most likely enjoy the older stuff.

PS: I kept it a little vague only because I didn't want to spoil a big plot in the movie and the thing that makes it a common theme in teen movies today.

11) Blind Dating (2006)

Let's get literal and take a Blind man on blind dates. The dates aren't good, but that doesn't mean his hunt for love is over.

I'm not saying that the representation wasn't iffy or that it's not filled with ableism, but I can say that in the problematic era of 2006, I thought this romantic comedy was cute. There are better made movies, even on this list, but when I think about what would get the easiest of re-watches, this beat out a lot of the other ones. Sorry.

12) Whiplash (2014)

Andrew wants to be a drummer and he wants to learn from the best, but at what cost.

Obviously this was a prime example of a better made movie than some of the other films that proceeded it, however it didn't hit as hard as I would have liked it to. The day I watched it, there was a lot physically going on in the room, people moving in and out, talking about the movie, not about the movie, and that most likely soiled the viewing experience. Now I think it probably just needs a solid less-distraction filled re-watch because it was good in all of it's depiction of toxicity, it just didn't get a fair shot. Also I like the roles Miles Teller plays and he also needs more of a fair chance with this one.

13) Eagle Eye (2008)

The supposed sins of your identical twin brother get you mixed up with the Feds and a woman who you've never met, so now youre tied to her and his past, because of an all seeing AI woman.

This was my distraction movie the night that I watched it and I had been avoiding it because I knew that I didn't want to watch a military/war movie with everything going on, but somehow it's what I ended up choosing. The acting was good and the running and the car chases do keep one entertained, but not a movie I'd suggest you watch at this time, again with everything going on.

This was also another Cameron Boyce movie I knocked off this year. He's not the main character, like we don't see him a ton, but he was there so it counts lol and he did well.

14) Abducted: The Carlina White Story (2012)

*Based on a true story. Carlina was abducted as a baby and now as an adult finds out she might be a missing person and the woman who raised her isn't telling the truth.

First we support Keke Palmer in this house! Now that that's been addressed let's talk Lifetime/Straight to DVD Movies and how they're all rated on a curve. Even when these movies aren't that good, they keep me interested and I will always come back for more and that's how I watched 9 or so of them this year. The Carlina White Story was definitely the best one that I saw though. I gave it a three because it was decent and I enjoyed the performances. Obviously there was also conversation at my screen, which always helps these films. Yelling at the screen is half the fun. Although based on a true story, remember this is Hollywood and Lifetime, so do with that what you will.

15) Fun Sized (2012)

Change of plans, you can't go to the party you were invited to by your hot crush, because you now have to take your little brother out trick or treating and spend the night in charge of him. But hey, what could go wrong.

This was Nickelodeon/Paramount's take on the semi-raunchy teen party movie. I thought I had seen it before, but apparently I hadn't and I'll say that I didn't hate it. I think it would have given me more post high school feels of nostalgia had I actually watched it in 2012 and then did a re-watch now, but with the formula being mostly fill in the blank you're gonna get some of them regardless. Now although it was the funniest part of the whole movie and the part that isn't okay in real life, like don't do that ish, was taking an 8 year old to do illegal stuff, as a sad adult. I laughed, but again don't do that. Also I hope the kid who dressed up as Aaron Burr got to see Hamilton a few years later lol. It's another teen party rom-com in the list of other teen party rom-com's, so if that's your thing just go with with it.

I feel like any time I watch a Thomas Mann movie, I have to watch multiple, so I ended up watching 3 this year and this was my favorite.

16) Unaccompanied Minors (2006)

Stranded at the airport during the holidays, the kids who were riding solo decide to make friends with one another and mischief ensues.

Unaccompanied Minors is basically The Breakfast Club meets Home Alone, if both were set at the airport. It wasn't bad... It's a family movie with Grinch-type adults and kids who's goal is to be happy. If that's not your thing, I get it, but for those who do enjoy one of these films every now and again, you're gonna have a decent time.

17) The Pact (1999)

A teenage boy witnesses the murder of his parents and now must go into hiding. While in witness protection he makes a friend, but will his secret be kept for long.

I picked this tape up one day at the thrift store because it had Rider Strong in it. I thought it was going to be way more thriller-y and just overall hit harder, to the point where I thought it would trigger my anxiety, however it fell a little short of that expectation. I still gave it 3 stars for doing what it did, but it wasn't something I needed to be truly nervous about lol. The punch just really didn't hit hard enough.

18) Fight Club (1999)

*Based on the book of the same name by Chuck Palahnuiuk. I can't really talk about what Fight Club is actually about, so I'm just gonna talk about the vibes and some takeaways.

My nephew said this was his favorite movie, so I went and bought a VHS copy for him and we watched it one day. Now the reason that this movie is this far down is simply because I had so many thoughts after watching the movie but I still don't know what I was supposed to get out of it. What is the moral, what are we supposed to gain?

I read somewhere that if Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt's character) is your favorite character, like you want to be him, that's a red flag and I agree. You should not want to be him and if you do, seek help lol. The other red flag for me was the fact that in a section in the movie, I could potentially see how some men are convinced to join that alt-right and even hella far-right pipeline in the real world and it gave me all of the heebie-jeebies.

David Fincher who also directed The Panic Room, which I absolutely love, makes intense movies and Fight Club was no different, so it's not the fact that the movie wasn't made well, just that I was so uncomfortable and confused at times, that I don't know when I will ever subject myself to another watch. Not saying I'll never watch it again, I kinda even want to read the book with my nephew which is supposedly worse, just that it's gon be a minute, a very long minute lol.

19) Fifteen And Pregnant (1998)

* Based on a true story. When Tina Spangler gets pregnant at 14, she starts to realize that not everyone is gonna stick around and how much she actually has to show up in the world.

Again Lifetime movies are graded on a curve, so based on on that criteria alone, it was okay. That being said the movie was hella religiously conservative coded in terms of teen pregnancy and just like sex in general. I felt like it wanted to do sex education, but didn't lean hard enough into that desire because of how coded it was and that's what ultimately failed the telling of this story.

Also yes Tina is more than a little bit selfish. Not in the getting pregnant part, but in a lot of her attitude and the way she moves afterwards.

20) Emily & Tim (2015)

Emily and Tim's romantic relationship is being told through 6 acts with different actors representing their different stages, as well as different time periods.

The cast across the board is very wonderful and the movie itself had an interesting set up, but at the end of the day it was just alright. I think I had started this movie once before, but it didn't keep me engaged enough to see it through. This time however I pushed, probably in a few sessions for that same reason but I got to the end and that's the win here. This set up and the charm the movie does have, will definitely win some people over and if that's your thing, enjoy.

We have a lot of stuff happening and it's going along on the plan and it is right on schedule there are several things going on right now they'll lead up to some major major events one is the eclipse of Jupiter tomorrow by the Sun and then it coming back around from its journey behind it in Superior conjunction. Our Jupiter project was a complete success it was a difficult project because the enormity of the task everything about the planet is huge. And next up is Uranus and newada and Ariana and their counterparts and they're saying lobo approximate midnight but they're from South America and it is the other Irish mother and father and the other side is in the white house too. And they're stubborn people. They're very sharp and rye and want to keep it that way they say. We have several things going on around here but praise God that works that was nerve-racking but he's kicking off tons of stuff for the same time to push for us to get his people on board and he needs all of them and she is too and what they mean is our entire people. Styles shows dramatically the difference she sets him up and he racks up a huge amount and goes for it and now it's an emotion and no other Ariana will have to put up with a fallout which is what we usually do..

-the morlock are gearing up for another strike they lost a lot of people today and it was not a huge number by percentage but they lost some key players and they're higher-ups here in punta Gorda the four police were put on suspension and without pay and in punta Gorda Port Charlotte that is it's a sheriff only and they laid off another 100 to bring it down to 300 remaining. They're also are changes at the higher up level out of the 3700 remaining. And there are layoffs at that level and they know who they are and what positions cuz they're actually in higher level positions in Charlotte county they're trying to be hassled so they released 20 more no it's about 200 and it down to 3500 for real they got to it today. And another thing he is saying terrific like you guys do and it's really backwards. The workers the government workers they went from 75% last week the 85% out and today they dropped out five more percent making it 90% out of the Charlotte county government worker positions with the exception of leadership which is following a much lower dropout rate or firing rate or layoff rate. Work is one thing but private jobs lost another 10% and they were at 75% for real and now are at age of 5% out and only 15% remain. They said 5% are more like businesses and it's not accurate it's more like 8%. And they are going around and taking them over shuttering them and closing them down and most of them almost the factories they have are disgusting and should have been shut down anyways and it really most are defined so really they're not working. They found 1% I guess we should rate it at 7% remaining because most of the jobs are gone and that's kind of what it is right now it's around 6% private jobs and a lot of those grocery stores oddly enough the weird place to keep them around in but they demand it it's not a choice.. in the general populace is falling about the same level they're 5% private jobs 10% public or government and the higher ups are kind of retained and they're keeping it there for a while alternately the people next door are getting evicted and Terry is looking for alternative housing they took the sign down across the street because they were told to you by law enforcement and Garth has been enforcing it. No but there are people that are doing that. There are several lots that are opened but by the time they built on them it would be far too late it takes way too long and they can't even give the utilities and it takes him a month and it's ridiculous they are very slow at it. To build out of block or concrete down here and they want to see cast in place it is a bit stronger. You don't want to hear anymore about you and your fantasies about being huge cross the street your small people yeah that too so we're going to silence you

-you've got enough of our son sweating like madness it's not sick he's just hot and it's not that hot out and his house is terrible it was meant to survive a blast not to sit around with him in it and you're sick people and your revolution was terrible turn out to be worse

-we have about 50 people who are complaining so going after them and the neighborhood was reduced and by battles today and they were helping the master invasion and were caught and killed in combat mostly out of the 140 houses that remains only 120 households it is sinking pretty fast and it's devastating there a lot of people who can't stand it and they do commit suicide and our son saw signs of it your people are being wounded critically and are not recovering you're being wounded also and not recovering and getting sick and dying and it's happening all over South Florida and Florida and other reagions on the planet. You have backup plans and you're running them and a lot of you are dropping out from exhaustion or a psychological trauma they can't handle the loss that our son does and you people are weak and it's not nice to say but he lost a lot of people in your very mean to him and you still are and you don't even understand it still part of it was your fault but not all of it and you won't be quiet and you won't have mercy on each other so we're going to come in there and straighten you out cuz you're trash

-there are signs that you're falling and falling apart are you trying to go in missions and you go out into the field and tons of you die falling over exhausted unable to absorb nutrients properly as cork used to be and unable to do the job and the incinerator is working full time last night they're a huge piles and built up for 3 hours and we had to spray them with bug killer constantly and we put huge zappers out too and true tons and tons of bugs out and we kept them on all day long and put the liquid near it there are so many bugs that went out there we were terrified but keeping it on and it's on now and it's a giant number of bugs all of them are foot long it's terrifying what happens if you fight and you fall over and they start eating and get big very quickly so putting them all over the state in the world and we have huge ones out here and they're 5 mi wide and they work very quickly they rid areas faster than you can blink of bugs and we're going to have to do it near here and draw them off and use his system that we really perfected and it's true he said we have to do it carefully so we're going to begin once we read the middle areas of them so we don't draw them here and right now we've got about an 80 mi swath down the middle and he says that's pretty big in Florida and it is other areas we're clearing rapidly the Midwest is almost done and we'll move on and it's going to help and we really need it and he said we can use ships in the midwest if we have to and get the things going and we think we're going to do that and right now and we're moving out and it's being sent and they're doing it

-we are on top of this we need efficiency experts to help me I have them in my cage he says and he's going to send some over and they're going to talk about things before presenting it to me that will help because our son doesn't want to see things he wants us to look better and really he wants to work better but that's what's going on

We should probably says and I agree this has been a miserable time this past 20 years have been awful and everyone can agree that these people are terribly terribly done and we need to push harder and get it done we are having that meeting tonight and we should talk about it

We have to tell people this is how it goes we need to have input from others and we need to get together and do things and we're doing it and it's a must what's happening here at the dealership is dangerous and they have security but it's nowhere near adequate and we're asking them where they are what they would need and that kind of thing because they are said to me not able to sell and it's not nice and we want them to be able to so there are several shops and stores that are open like Harley-Davidson that have a system I'm going to show them how it works
