okay, i'll level with you, I have a few. So I'll just list six of them out. The first five are WenZhou and the sixth is XiYuan.

1. Caught in a Storm (a @thewhitevault AU)

Ah Xu blinks. Dark eyes gleaming in the fluorescent glow of the room as they gaze at him. Those inscrutable depths, once warm and welcoming, are closed and guarded. His walls are up now, Wen Kexing thinks with a slow throb of misery in his chest.

“…Not quite human.” Comes the soft answer. Ah Xu looks down to his hands and then back to him, rubbing at his mouth with the back of his sleeve.

Wen Kexing takes a half step forward. "Close enough then?”

“…Yeah. Close enough.”

2. Husbands in Murder and In Health (Hannibal Crossover AU)

“He’s not my husband.” Hannibal delicately places the words into the sun shine tinged air between them. Clearing his throat, he clarifies. “Will, I mean.”

Zhou Zishu’s smile grows at that, eye sparking up like stars in the darkest nights. “The institution of marriage demands a spectacle and declaration of a solemn vow. Tell me Mr. Lecter, do you feel beholden to the conventions of such an institution?”

Touché, Hannibal thinks, smiling as he spears a sausage for the slicing.

3. knocking on the wrong door au (Modern AU)

“But this is apartment No. 325? You sure you didn’t order the Bamboo Chicken Special with Tofu, a side of rice, two servings of Longevity Noodles, five servings of fried chicken with extra spicy sauce, two servings of fried vegetables, and a bottle of Tiger beer?”

The handsome man’s brow crinkles for a beat, before gesturing at his admittedly very solid eight-pack on full display above the damp knot of his towel, and cocking an elegant eyebrow. “Does this look like it eats all of that?”

4. fake relationship au

“Oh?” Wen Kexing purrs. Soft laughter floats up in the silence and Zishu turns to him again, watching as his husband pulls himself upright, swinging his legs over the side of the bed. “Was the fluke when you kissed me or when you had your cock down my throat?”

5. Mirror (part of WOHDaily Summer Event August 2021)

Their new home is perfect.

Sure, it needs a bit of cleaning up ("A lot of cleaning up, Ah Xu, do you not see the shit in some of the rooms?") and there's a bit of a draft blowing through the cracks in the walls ("They're holes, Ah Xu! Holes!"), but that's just the charm of old houses, right?

6. Contrast (part of WOHDaily Summer Event August 2021)

Perhaps it’s this tranquility that makes it Wuxi’s preferred place to run his morning practice with their son. Or perhaps, Beiyuan suspects, his husband just likes to put his sweat slicked, half naked body right where he can see it.

- GoT, witch!sansa decides while she's at the red keep to get retribution and slowly drive joffery insane via magic psychological gaslighting, before murdering him

- GoT, tormund/jon smut follow up sequel to duty given chance, detailing how they end up eventually having a child of jon’s blood

- MZDS, LZ/WY, in which a-yuan dies in the siege at the burial mounds and lan zhan doesn't survive the grief, killing himself and eventually becoming a devastation level ghost, now with spicy new sad times in which WY wakes up 13 years later to realize LZ is dead

- Naruto, rock lee/gaara story in which gaara visits lee in hospital following the exams and tries to kill him again, only to get a crush on him instead

- NiF, yan yujin/mu nihuang, in which nihuang realizes she can't keep putting off her marriage and instead decides to chose someone who will let her keep being master of her house instead, approaching yujin with a deal. probably gonna be poly YY/MN/jingrui

- OP, law/luffy soulmates fic, in which soulmates swap bodies. covering ASL and law's childhood from a young age, then focusing heavily on the marineford arc

- ? Solo Levelling, mayyyybeeee a jin-woo/jin-chul in which the process of the double dungeon causes jw to loose all empathy and most human emotion and he starts casually using jc as a measuring stick for emotions and morality instead

- 2HA, mo ran/chu wanning god!au fic, in which cw is a god of justice who takes mr under his wing, and intercedes dramatically when the results of the evil heart flower end up with mr being put on trial

- Heaven Officials Blessing, xl/hc canon divergence, in which xl does a favor for a ghost and ends up in the ghost city much much earlier

- FF7, sephiroth/cloud, time travel AU in which cloud is send back in time, barely remembers any of it, and ends up as a semi-amnesiac serial killer? assassin? bouncer/dancing girl at the honeybee inn

- FF7, sephiroth/cloud, also a time travel AU, but this time sephiroth POV, in which be goes back in time, is un-mad-ified, and decides to take everything in hand by killing jenova and staging a coup, all while keeping an obsessive eye on cloud

- Bleach, ichigo/kisuke, elden ring AU in which ichigo is a tarnished and kisuke is the creepy undead finger maiden meant to lead him to his doom

- Zelda/Star Wars, the Gerudo and Mandalorian crossover series consisting solely of a series of comical hookups and also Din Darjin trying to beat the Gerudo away with a stick wondering why women keep appearing to challenge him to fights

- DCU/Star Wars, in which a semi eldritch and very fed up Jason finds himself in the seedy underbelly of Coruscant with the voice of the sentient spirit of Gotham in his head giving him helpful advice

-Stranger Things, Steve/Billy time travel AU, in which Steve wakes up post series about two days after Will has gone missing and barb has disappeared, and immediately has a panic attack

-RDR2, Charles/Arthur, wingfic in which Arthur has enormous russet wings and is terrible at taking care of them, curing Charles intervention

- Hannibal/Soul Eater fusion series, hannigram, with meister!hannibal and weapon!will, a prequel to my little old one shot on the subject, covering their first meeting, partnership, and the betrayal ✔ second symphony ✔ notes unheard

- OP, kakaturi/sanji sequel to three past the hour, in which the two have their next meeting following the events of the story, now with sanji actually getting the d ✔ increments

- OP, shanks &/ buggy demon au, next in the hell or highwater series, with demon!buggy and shank's childhood being raised by gol, eventually ending with sequels in which they are ?? sort of lovers, sort of best friends, sort of brothers. big thy'la energy.

- Itaewon Class, saeroyi/jang guen-won, high school days canon divergence, in which Saeroyi doesn't get expelled, and their relationship develops antagonistically from there

- BEASTARs, legosi/louis canon divergence, in which legosi ends up being louis' blackmail minion slash fuck buddy

- Banana Fish, ash/eiji, a fix it sequel in which ash doesn't die, and the two instead move to japan, covering the aftereffects of leaving a life of trauma and violence, and the struggle of readapting to everyday life ✔ the sun also rises

Hey all!

These are some Hannibal fic Ideas free to any home. I don't have time to write the full story down but I have these Ideas in my head that won't go away. At least this way they're free to live and grow. Take them as you please or don't.

Hannibal Lecter/Will Graham

1. Old West Time Travel - As they fall from the cliff they are teleported back to the old west (in my mind it Red Read 2 Online by Valentine; teleported by old gods or whatever teleports that guy in the single player from the 20's) Will arrives alone and becomes a bounty hunter (moves to Saint Denis figuring Hannibal will end up there.) Hannibal arrives months later and is nursed back to health by the owner of the ranch hand saloon/bar and stays in the area because it's the sort of place Will might like. When a few rude ranch hands go missing and a bounty is posted the two finally meet up again.

2. AU Hannibal did not become a serial killer and he struggles to find meaning or happiness in his life. After meeting with Alana he offers his services to the FBI and is called in to help on the Minnesota Shrike case. He meets Special Agent Will Graham, the rudest man he's had the displeasure of knowing but despite that there's something about the man that keeps drawing Hannibal in. And then someone starts murdering people and deliberately leaving idea kits for inspiration on how to turn the corpses into works of art....'This is Your Design'

3. HanaHaki Disease - after they recover in Cuba, Will is ready to admit to Hannibal that he has feelings for him, but Hannibal has started a rebound relationship with their one of their neighbors, another criminal. (Happy Ending please)

4. Frustrated Hannibal - Hannibal is inconvenienced daily by the depth of his feelings for Will and often walks away from anything they try to do together muttering to himself in Lithuanian. Will thinks he's making Hannibal angry so he turns on the charm. At this rate Hannibal might forget English completely.

5. Merlin AU/reincarnation- Merlin, or Will as he goes by these days, gave up on Arthur ever coming back and moves to America trying to find his place in a world where magic has been all but forgotten. Arthur, or Hannibal now, had been reincarnated but with no Merlin to guide or help save him, Hannibal is forced to save himself and gives in to dark urges of despair and loneliness after the events of his childhood. Fast forward to Hannibal meeting Will in Jack's office. He immediately warms to the prickly profiler because he's the closest person to Merlin he's ever found. When he catches a the familiar flicker of gold in Will's eyes he decides to do everything he can to keep Will close. And Will...well he hasn't met anyone that frustrated him this much since Arth...oh no...(bonus points for Will trying to step back into his servant role and still managing to be the worst servant Hannibal has ever had, but Hannibal realizing he loved Will for it)

6. Dragon Goes House Hunting/Hannibal crossover - Hannibal didn't imagine after leaving his home and the rest of the elves he'd end up in real-estate, finding homes for others when he didn't feel at home anywhere himself. He also didn't imagine that one day a rude blue dragon named Will would be particularly hard to house. Yet here they are, at the 63rd property and he already can tell Will is going to say no. If he didn't know better he'd swear Will is only interested in traveling with him for his company...

7. Lucifer/Hannibal crossover - Hannibal shifted uncomfortably, cell phone in hand "We need to go to Los Angeles." Will looked up over the edge of his tablet, "Whatever it is, order it online." "I...I owe someone a large favor and they have called in their marker." "I'll bite. Who in the world could you owe that kind of favor to? The kind that could get us imprisoned and/or killed." Hannibal visibly braced himself for Will's reaction, "Lucifer Morningstar." Will put the tablet down, "That's...the Devil." "He's apparently now God. He's getting married to a former police detective and wants me to be the head chef at his wedding." Will snorted and picked up his tablet again, "I knew it was only a matter of time before eating all that people meat made you crazy." "Will I'm serious..."

8. Merkin/Merpeople - Will is the demi-god son of Calypso herself and out of all her children, Will is the only one to prefer fresh water to sea water. When the sea goddess tells Will it's time to return to the ocean and come into his full potential, he refuses. Calypso is furious and she lays a curse on Will that forces him to transform regularly into his Merman from and bathe his body in the sea water he dislikes. As the curse worsens, Will calls in sick to work and reschedules his therapy appointments again and again. Worried Will is extremely sick, Hannibal goes out to Will's house and finds the merman trapped in a cramped, hastily constructed large wooden box, lined with trap and filled with sea water, half starved and completely helpless. Hannibal nurses Will back to health and then goes to Calypso to strike a deal to free his beloved from the curse. (Bonus points for Hannibal being a god/spirit of vengeance)

9. Cuddly Will - Hannibal notices Will loves to cuddle up to him but Will refuses to initiate any touches himself so Hannibal makes ridiculous excuses for Will to be close to him.

10. Tailor and the Carpenter - Hannibal always begins a new chapter in his life by taking up a new skill. Music, surgery, cooking, drawing, therapy, art restoration, languages...the safe house in Cuba was where he planned to become a tailor and sell his wares locally, maybe online. He assumed Will would spend his time fishing or volunteering at an animal shelter but then power tools and work benches start appearing in their garage, large pieces of drift wood take over the backyard and the shrill scream of a buzz saw covers the sound of the ocean. However it's all worth it when Will brings in his wild and dark stained crafts.

Mouse’s Reclist (#2/?)

It’s time for a second reclist! Here’s the first, if you want. This is again in no particular order. Title, author, pairing, and fandom will be listed, as well as if it’s a WIP.

The first few are going to be Snarry, because my reading list recently has basically consisted of entirely Snarry. Why? Because I fucking love Snarry. Sue me.

Angels on the Moon by Writcraft - Harry Potter/Snarry - The aftermath of the war is almost as difficult as the war itself, Harry is a mess and Severus is a reluctant survivor forced back to Hogwarts to recuperate from his injuries. When a brick-bonding spell goes awry, Harry and Severus are forced to confront hatred, misunderstandings and a new and unexpected intimacy which takes them both by surprise. Notes: This is the classic-style Eighth Year!Fic, which has long been my favourite trope in the HP fandom. It’s an especially loved trope of mine when it comes to Snarry, too, as I am problematic filth, and teacher-student relationships are my jam. It’s also a classic bonding!fic. But the way it handles the tropes is just… *chef’s kiss*

The Man Underneath by maraudersaffair - Harry Potter/Snarry - Severus is a secret Auror and must always be disguised. When Harry Potter becomes his new partner, Severus struggles hiding his true identity and burning attraction. Notes: This is more bottom!Snape than top!Snape, which I know isn’t to everyone’s taste. However, it’s fucking fantastic, and as someone who has a cathartic and self-fulfilling love of “char A is ugly and has a shittonne of self-hatred and yet manages to score super hot char B” (something that I struggle with myself and still worry how I manage to keep my own gorgeous partner over), this is perfect. Not that I even agree with J.K.’s assessment on Sev’s ugliness. I like the “goth filled with churning angst” look.

a forest, dark and deep by bleedcolor - Harry Potter/Snarry - Once, many years ago (for that is when all great stories begin, many years ago; we never consider we might be in the midst of our own great story) there lived a boy. But wait, you might say, there is nothing special about a boy living, many people do and never amount to much of anything. You would be right, but you would also be wrong, because this story is not about a boy who lived, but The Boy Who Lived, and that is all the difference. Notes: Harry is cursed and must go on an adventure to the Fountain of Youth to find the cure. I cried. I cried a lot. I cried a lot a lot a lot a lot. Happy ending, though! Fairy tale fic. One of the best fics to read if you want magic in the HP universe portrayed more like magic in ancient medieval history tends to be portrayed: mysterious, Eldritch, Occult-like power that requires strange and sometimes dangerous rituals to harness.

Notes: @snapedefender‘s most recent masterpiece. Post-War!fic, one of the best of. Harry worms his way into Severus’ life, as he always does. Also he has a big crush. Their interactions are golden. Everything about this is golden, in fact. It’s just delightful. Read it, please.

How the War Was Won by avioleta - Harry Potter/Snarry - Severus Snape should be dead. Instead, he wakes up after the Battle of Hogwarts to find himself quarantined in a house full of Gryffindors, waiting for Harry bloody Potter to save the world…again. And Severus must be going crazy because he can’t seem to stop thinking about Potter. (Or, where Harry needs a distraction, and Severus doesn’t refuse.) Notes: War Doesn’t End with The Battle of Hogwarts!fic. And it’s by avioleta, a longtime and well-loved Snarry writer. Well-loved for good reason! They know what they’re doing, and it shows. I’ve long loved “Harry and any number of Slytherins are holed up together and must get along” as a trope, and this nails it perfectly. Another fav was in my previous reclist, Hauntingly by ObsidianPen, where Harry is holed up with Draco, Sev, AND Tom! Fun times!

Chasing Ghosts by DictionaryWrites - Harry Potter/Snarry/WIP - “I guess I’m not ready to join the land of the living just yet,” Harry says. “Need a little more time here at Hogwarts, with all the ghosts. You know what I mean?”//In the aftermath of the war, Harry doesn't feel ready to leave the safety of the castle, and to go out into the world at large: he wants to stay. The Room of Requirement - with great reluctance - grants his wish. Notes: Adult!Harry wakes up in the Marauders Era and becomes a teacher, all while he tries to figure out the nature of spacetime. TIME TRAVEL!FIC! That’s in all caps because I love and adore time travel!fic with all my heart. Again, more of a bottom!Snape story. I used to think I preferred top!Snape, but bottom!Snape has come into my heart with a passion as of late and showed me I’m not always going to want Snape to nail Harry into his mattress. This also shows more of Snape’s backstory, with mentor!Lucius and all, which is a fav of mine as well.

OKAY! Enough Snarry, yes, sorry. Moving on!

Love Potion #9 by murderlight - Bleach/GrimmIchi - Gifted with a horrifying box of potion-laced chocolates from Urahara in the hopes he might feed them to somebody, Ichigo thought all the excitement for Valentine’s Day was done with. Then Grimmjow had to get snacky.//A story in which Ichigo is entrusted with the scientifically altered affections of his once-enemy, and might just discover some of his own. Notes: I love the goddamn love potion/love spell trope. This one highlights the dubcon nature of making someone fall in love with you (even on accident) a lot more, but still makes everyone’s feelings feel genuine and real. And of course it ends happily. And there’s no noncon, if that’s not to your taste. Ichigo is a good boy and does not stroke that pussy until that pussy is entirely free from Kisuke’s experimental serums. Yes, I made that pun.

The Edinburgh Problem by snorklepie - Sherlock/Johnlock - “A nice holiday, just a bit more...murdery. ” John said drily.//“Yes! The best kind of holiday!” Sherlock beamed. “So we won’t get bored!”//After he separates from Mary, John returns to Baker Street. Following a request for help from Sherlock's cousin Violet, the detective and his blogger take a trip to Edinburgh. John discovers more about the Holmes family and Sherlock than he bargained for, but tries not to run screaming. Notes: I fell in love with Violet immediately. I am so gay. If you are also attracted to women, you will probably join me in falling in love with Violet. She is amazing, and very Holmes. But a more balanced Holmes. Well, as balanced as a Holmes can be. I love case fic, I love Sherlock Holmes in general because of my adoration for murder mystery (yes, I am a forensics major, thank you for being able to clock me very obviously), and I love deep backstory and family bonding. It’s a long, long ride, but it is undoubtedly worth every single minute.

The Loss of Flesh and Soul by deuxexmycroft - Sherlock/Johnlock/Abandoned WIP - Five years after John Watson puts the murderous Sherlock Holmes behind bars, a vicious copycat killer emerges. A reluctant John is pulled out of retirement to seek the expertise of the only man who can help, a man who has developed an unsettling obsession with John himself.//Crossover with Red Dragon/Silence of the Lambs Notes: It’s Hannigram but Johnlock, what’s not to love? Sherlock’s characterisation in the TV show is already unsettling enough (well, in the beginning, but I like to pretend Sherlock doesn’t exist past S2), so adding in a little Hannibal Lecter is fantastic. Yes, it’s an abandoned WIP. Yes, that hurts like hell. But it’s so, so worth it anyway. Seriously, this is one of the best executions of serial killer!Sherlock I’ve seen in fandom, and given how fucking gigantic the Sherlock fandom is, hopefully you can see how big of a thumbs up that is imho!

Sinking the Land by emungere - Sherlock/Mystrade - Three weeks ago, Mycroft Holmes picked Lestrade up outside New Scotland Yard and made him an offer he'd been unable to refuse, despite his best judgement. Mycroft had sucked his cock, dropped him off at home, and Lestrade hadn't heard a word from him since.//Now, the door of the black car swung open as Lestrade drew level with it. He could just see Mycroft's profile, hawkish nose and shallow chin limned by the orange glow of the streetlight. Notes: Porn WITH plot! That’s the best way to take your porn, imho. One of the best ways I’ve seen the Mystrade relationship developed. It’s just so real. And Lestrade is so head-over-heels, which is my favourite way to take my Lestrade :p.

Clark Kent, of Krypton by TerresDeBrume - DCEU/Superbat - Batman crashes on Krypton a few days before the Turn of the Year celebrations, and Kal-El's life takes a sharp turn to the left, on a path that will, ultimately, lead him to becoming Clark Kent. Notes: Krypton Wasn’t Destroyed!fic is always, always, always my favourite. Sci-fi mystery again, yes. If you saw my first reclist, then you understand that I am always going to fall for a sci-fi mystery fic. This one develops Kryptonian culture beautifully, and equally-as-perfectly encapsulates what “Clark Kent Pretending to Be a Mild-Mannered Reporter, but on Krypton” would actually look like.

Q It Again by writerofprose - Star Trek/QCard - Picard thinks his position, as captain of the Enterprise, plays the largest role in Q's obsession with him. Q would like to take that bet, even if Picard wasn't making one. What say they try it again, from the start? Without the captain nonsense? Notes: A poignant take on Q’s weird fixation with Picard. Not that anyone can blame him. I mean, shit, the man is Jean-luc Picard. Anyone would be fixated on him. Q uses his Q powers to explore Picard in multiple alternate universes, and erases his own memories in order to come in unbiased. Picard gets to keep his original memories, and those of the AU. Does Q still like Picard as much when he’s not at the helm of the Enterprise?

American Outlaws by manic_intent - Red Dead Redemption/Morston - “Bounty’s for one ‘Jim Milton’,” Sadie said, as she got close to the man under the oak tree. “Wanted for murder, robbery, and unnatural acts.”//“Unnatural what?”///“Don’t got details on here.” Sadie passed the folded up poster to her hunting partner. “You all right?”//Arthur Morgan didn’t answer her as he smoothed open the poster. He was aggressively smoking a cigarette, his second, judging from the stub on the grass. Notes: I loved RDR and RDR2 so much that I wrote my own fic in the fandom, despite knowing jackshit about late 1800’s America. It was only a ficlet, in order to hide how little I remember from my contemporary history classes, but much more talented people than me took on the burden of whole-ass novels. Here’s everyone’s fav BNF manic’s take on a fix-it Morston, pre-RDR1 but post-RDR2. It’s excellent. Who doesn’t enjoy forbidden love historical romance? Especially with a delicious helping of age gap. If you’d like Vandermorgan or even Vandermorston, check out more of manic’s stuff, and also kriegersan, who is another long-time fav of mine.

Every Deckerstar fic by wollfgang. But especially a softer beginning, an amnesia!fic, and if you saw all of me, a true form!Lucifer!fic. You know, since angels are described as weird Eldritch beings in ancient texts. Both tropes are my favourite. Also that latter one has monsterfucking and we are all monsterfuckers here.

A Modest Proposal by ignaz - House M.D./Hilson - Tritter's case against House still depends on subpoenaed testimony from Wilson. To save House from losing everything, the doctors of PPTH decide on an unusual solution, which in turn leads to unexpected consequences. This is a story about the sacrifices we make that turn out not to be such great sacrifices after all. (Contains spoilers for everything up to and including "Merry Little Christmas.") Notes: Work 355 on the AO3. It’s that OG. And for an OG slash fandom, too. Well, not Star Trek levels of OG, but it’s a fandom based on Sherlock Holmes, and ACD did come before Star Trek! You’ve probably read it. It’s the OG Hilson Pretend Marriage!fic. But I had to rec it because when I get bored I watch House on Amazon Prime (or the thousands of clips they upload to YT nowadays), and I always am struck by HOW GAY HOUSE AND WILSON ARE OH MY GOD. I can never watch it with Mum in the room, though, because she was in the medical field before she retired, and the unrealistic nature of how House characters behave (and some of the medical procedures) make her SOOOOOO peeved. Though doctors, especially surgeons, were apparently huge egotistical dicks at times. Maybe not kill your own patient levels, though.

In A Place Where No One Appeared by Gefionne - Star Wars/Kylux - Following the destruction of Starkiller Base, General Hux is ordered to remove a wounded Kylo Ren to a place where he can recuperate. Knowing nowhere else to house him safely and discreetly, Hux takes Ren to his family’s estate on Arkanis. He anticipates adding this experience to the already long list of abhorrent memories he has of his childhood home, but six weeks in company with Ren turns out to be something quite unlike Hux expected. Notes: The imagery is so fucking vivid, I love it. The entire world of Arkanis is just lit up so beautifully in Gefionne’s words. This takes a little liberty with Hux’s backstory, given there wasn’t too much out at the time, but it’s so fucking good, I’d prefer its canon to the actual one, lmao.

all that you love will be carried away by coldhope - Star Wars/Kylux - Supreme Leader, the oscillator is failing. The collapse has begun. There is nothing that can be done.//Hux, sent to retrieve Kylo Ren from the dying Starkiller Base, has lost almost everything, and has little patience or tolerance left for anyone or anything--particularly not Snoke's pet pseudo-Sith and his amateur theatrics. But you do the job that is in front of you, to the best of your ability, and you hold on as long as you can. Notes: One of the first Kylux fics, and one of the best. Their relationship is just so real here.

London Calling by SectoBoss - Overwatch/WidowTracer - Recaptured by Overwatch, Widowmaker is sent on a mission to assassinate a high-ranking Talon agent in London. It should be an easy mission – get in, take the shot, and leave. But when Tracer’s your getaway pilot a lot of things can go wrong, and things like 'subtlety' and 'discretion' tend to be the first casualties. Now, lying low after the mission goes awry, the pair of them have to survive in the city until Overwatch can get them home. Notes: Written when OW was in its heyday. And before the fandom was qqqquite as bad as it became. A WidowTracer case!fic, with Amelie as the reluctant good guy, which is always the best trope and I don’t take concrit on this point.

To the Victor, The Spoil by Annakovsky - Hunger Games/Haymitch/Katniss - No berries, no mockingjay, no rebellion. Katniss killed Peeta in the arena, and now she has to live with herself like every other victor. Notes: An old fandom, an older fic, back in the day when nobody complained about fucked up dark!fic. And fucked up dark!fic this is. Rape, age gap, age gap rape, Katniss losing all hope about the future, etc. But damn, it’s good.

The Want of You by MKK - Star Trek/Garashir - Julian Bashir is not quite sure yet about his feelings toward his enigmatic new friend Elim Garak. So when they both show symptoms of a mysterious illness, it seems they'll now have more time apart to ponder the future of the relationship. Their symptoms worsen, however, and to their shock, they discover there's only one way to effectively and inexplicably ease the pain: getting physically closer and closer - and closer. Notes: A forced bonding!fic where Bashir doesn’t actually know Garak all that well. As in, set very early in the canon. Very early. Which is my favourite way to read this beloved trope, because the whole fun of it (imho) is characters who barely have a grasp on each other’s personalities being forced to learn them.

Notes: Another forced bonding!fic, this time by AO3’s own founder. I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. Their interactions here are perfect.

Semaphore by DevilDoll - MCU/Stony - "I’m trying to like you, Tony. You’re just making it very hard." Notes: I wanted to rec another OG. One of the first Stony fics in the MCU, and still one of the best. It holds up very, very well and is worth a read if, by some miracle, you haven’t already.

Prisoner’s Dilemma by AvocadoLove - MCU/Stony - After taking the airplane down in the Arctic, Steve wakes to find himself imprisoned as a human test subject. With no idea where in the world he is, his only ally is a fast-talking inventor in the cell next door. Something’s off about Tony that Steve can’t put his finger on, and it’s obvious Tony doesn't fully trust him either. But to escape they may not have a choice… Notes: IDENTITY PORN! And it’s by an author I adore. AvocadoLove has pioneered the MCU MattFoggy fandom, and also donated their efforts and words to Stony. It’s the best. And it’s canon divergence! Which is another favourite trope, and one I can’t ever seem to stop writing myself. I have a lot of appreciation for it.

Speaking of MattFoggy, all of theapplepielifestyle’s works for the pairing are amazing. And all of their works in general.

Belief Space by magicasen - Marvel 616/Stony - The Time Gem appears not when it is wanted, but when it is needed. Steve learns this the hard way.//(Or: an Infinity #6 AU where Thane refuses his birthright and the Avengers are doomed - until the Time Gem shows up within Captain America's grasp.) Notes: A 616!Stony fic, if you’re craving something in the comics rather than the movies. Still with Civil War angst and Stony angry tension, just this time it’s even more painful, because their friendship in the comics!verse was beautiful and their fallout even more devastating.

This time tomorrow (where were we?) by dorcas_gustine - Marvel 616/Stony - Tony goes to see Wanda, and suddenly Steve is alive and there are Skrulls! Or maybe Tony is just going crazy. Nothing happens in this fic, until the very end. Seriously. There's a lot of talking, mostly at inopportune moments, Tony's views on the acceptable gifts to give people are slightly different from everyone else's and he spends more time than would seem necessary being (half-)naked. What else is new? Notes: More 616 for your Stony needs! Tony time travels into a word pre-Secret Invasion and decides to fix things his damn self.

He looked over at Hill. “The mask—it’s nailed to his face.”//Hill’s face was as unmoved as ever. “Like I said. They really didn’t want it coming off.” Notes: TWS Identity Porn!AU. Gore, given that the Winter Soldier’s mask is literally stuck to his face. But it’s excellent.

Simple by Osidiano - MCU/Stucky - Written for the capkink meme; "To the Winter Soldier, there are basically three kinds of people in the world: superiors, mission support, and targets. He doesn't have the context to understand things like friendship. So what he sees in the Smithsonian exhibit and what little he remembers or feels about his past, he interprets in that light. He thinks that Steve must have been his handler during World War II. That the reason he couldn't kill Steve and the reason he was smiling in the museum photos was because Steve was a good superior who treated him well (or at least didn't hurt him like Pierce and Rumlow, which to him might be the best he can imagine).//Thinking he understands the situation, he decides to report to Steve. Cue misunderstandings, confusion, and heartache for both of them." Notes: Bucky taking a while to snap out of TWS mode is one of my favourite tropes. This fic executes it perfectly.

Bridge Over Troubled Water by soniclipstick (veriscence) - MCU/Stuckony/Phlint - Ultron is destroyed, the Avengers are in disarray, and the Winter Soldier is still in the wind. Steve knows that he has to fix the ever-growing ocean of distrust between Tony and himself, so he takes a leap of faith and tasks Tony with the most important thing: finding Bucky Barnes. But it takes a pair of sexy but stolen hand warmers, several robots, Hawkeye and countless selfies before Steve realises the immensity of what he's set into motion. Notes: I would die for Stuckony as a ship. It’s one of my favourites to read and to write, and this fic here encapsulates it quite frankly in the best way.

Strange New Worlds by Leletha - Supernatural/Destiel/Sabriel - AU…THE FUTURE: Humanity survives everything, spreads to the stars, and finds it needs to know where it can land. Enter interplanetary explorers Sam and Dean Winchester…and sentient starships Gabriel and Castiel. Then ships and crews start disappearing out in the black and, as usual, all goes straight to hell. Notes: I corresponded with Le’letha when they originally wrote this fic, and my love for it has only grown in the years since. Sci-fi mystery, yes. Dude, Castiel is a sentient spaceship. That itself is premise enough.

In His Image by Anonymous - Supernatural/Sabriel - Kali can breathe life back into a corpse, but what exactly is Gabriel now? Gabriel flits around various centuries trying to work that out, Dean has another powered-down angel and a little brother to look out for, Castiel has forgotten how to trust, and someone keeps sending Sam annoying little notes on his laptop. Oh, and Bobby would like to remind you all that there’s an Apocalypse still going on. Covers season 5 from Gabriel’s death to the finale. Notes: My favourite Sabriel fic. God only knows why the author abandoned it. I have their original name, but it doesn’t feel right to reveal it when they made the conscious choice to anonymise. Let me just say that they were a favourite of mine.

If You Were the Last Woman on Earth by Vali - Doctor Who/Thoschei (Twissy) - Just because your best enemy accidentally destroyed planet Earth is no reason to refuse her hospitality. Written for the Only One Bed fanfic challenge. Notes: That last note doesn’t even begin to cover how wonderful this fic is. Tropes are irrelevant, this captures them perfectly. Still one of my fav ever Thoschei fics. Now just get me one where The Master calls our titular hero Theta Cubed Sigma Ex Squared Lungbarrow, please.

A Wealth of Sorrows by evelynwaaaaah - Dragon Age/Solavellan - Things are getting back to normal in Skyhold now that Corypheus is gone. Until the Inquisitor collapses in mid-conversation. Notes: Solavellan is still a ship I would die for. This fic will make you ship it, if the game didn’t already. And this is coming from someone who romanced Cullen on my first playthrough.

Reclamation by copperbadge - Harry Potter/Background Jily and Wolfstar - In an alternate universe, one man still struggles with a moral decision made many years before. Notes: What if Tom Marvolo Riddle wasn’t quite the same maniac of the canon!verse and was accepted to the position of DADA professor? By the esteemed copperbadge.

Truth and Illusion by penny_dreadful - Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica/MadoHomu/KyoSaya - “I’ve, um, been dreaming.” She closes her eyes because it’s easier to ignore Mami and Homura’s stares. “In, in my dream I’m still in bed, but I-I’m not alone, Sayaka’s next to me but she’s not breathing, she��s—”//She’s pale and cold and pretty in the same way the stained glass windows of Kyoko’s father’s church are pretty and she’s lying so still she can’t be anything but dead. But in her dream Kyoko still curls around her, soul gem in hand, keeping her warm, keeping her safe—//“—she’s dead, I didn’t even know her that well and she’s dead and in my dream I’m so, I’m scared that there’s nothing I can do.” She opens her eyes. “But there really is nothing I can do. She’s already gone, and we left her there.” She stares hard at her hands. “We weren’t really even friends.” Notes: Not really a fix-it for MadoHomu, but certainly one for SayaKyo. Crossover (Side Fic): Dinner With the Devil

Series: NBC Hannibal/Fear Clinic (webseries)

Note: I am aware that the FEAR CLINIC movie has stated that Dr. Andover's first name is Peter. I personally go by the webseries specifically, waaay back before the good doctor was given a first name. @tranimation and I have been calling him "Victor Andover" for over a decade now and I'm stubborn and refuse to call him Peter. It just sounds...odd.

Whether grandiose or simple, Hannibal Lecter loved to entertain. Even though this was a three-person dinner party, it was only natural he went all out. Best way to size up his guests, though he wasn't in a murderous mindset tonight.

"I found your lecture on the nature of fear and phobias to be quite interesting," he said, pouring wine. "I'm sorry you didn't get more of the packed house you deserved."

Victor Andover chuckled, nodding in appreciation.

"I'm not surprised. I'm not as well known as others in the same field. Besides, there was some...controversy surrounding my methods," he said, sipping his wine. The pretty blonde woman at his side squeezed his hand affectionately.

"You do have one success," she said. "I never regressed."

Andover waved her off, sighing.

"Of course, that exposè that had been published didn't help. Makes me dislike the internet."

"It was an internet tabloid, Victor, you know that," Elizabeth went on. Hannibal raised an eyebrow as he walked to the kitchen to set out the main course.

"Exposè?" he repeated, returning to the dining and setting down what he had assured his guests to be roast lamb.

"That Tattlecrime website," Andover grumbled. "An anonymous story about the five patients during the start of my....tests."

Lecter nodded, understanding.

"The writer for that propaganda is well known here. Anyone with a hint of scandal to their name has been slandered, Doctor, not just you."

"Oh I'm well aware of who tipped the website off," Victor said, now through his third glass of wine of the evening.

"Victor, you've had enough," Owens said, taking her husband's wine glass from him. "Eat."

"I don't mind," fibbed Lecter, getting the older man a glass of water. "Should you need to vent, well...we're both psychiatrists here."

"Elizabeth, you know as well as I do that Villatoro--"

"Villatoro hasn't been seen in over a year, dear."

Hannibal ate his meal, watching his guests like they were a mildly entertaining television program.

"Villatoro?"

"A former orderly we used to work with. Horrid man," Owens said.

"Shoulda let him burn..." Andover growled.

Hannibal smiled as his guests finally settled into the meal, politely refusing when Owens had asked for the recipe.

"Like a magician never reveals his secrets, nor do I as a chef," he said. "It always brings people back for more."

"I understand," Elizabeth said. "But thank you for having us."

Hannibal nodded, helping her into her coat before shaking Andover's hand.

"I hope we can speak again very soon, Dr. Andover."

"A pleasure, Dr. Lecter."

Joel: We’re realators!

Gen: You know you lose points every time you mispronounce that.

Joel: FORK!

Shelia: Points?

Shelia: 3 stars? That’s a little harsh. You weren’t nearly as hard on Japopos and their clams literally killed me.

Joel: It’s the taste. It’s off. Like they’re using lemon instead of lime. They’re both part of citrus family but their taste is very distinct.

Shelia: …Right. That’s what I’m trying to say. It’s off. This is supposed to be paradise.

Joel: It is. Sort of. Except no ice cream. We can’t curse. We live in this house—which is not our essence at all.

Shelia: I thought this house was your essence?

Joel: Why would my essence be a Spanish Colonial? Yeah I want to spend eternity in a Chris and Christa Knock Off Home. I’d rather die again.

Sheila: Oh my god.

Joel: Shelia, we’re already dead, again. It’s not offensive.

Sheila: Joel.

Joel: Sheila.

Sheila: The Spanish Colonial isn’t my essence either.

Joel: But I thought---

Sheila: No. I’d rather spend eternity in—

Joel: Our starter home.

Shelia: This isn’t The Good Place.

Eleanor: Let me get this straight—this couple from Santa Clarita dies. They’re zombies—

Sheila: The term is ‘Undead’.

Joel: We don’t like the ‘Z’ word.

Eleanor: ---You pop into Earth for 5 seconds and in those 5 seconds you see these, Undead people, and you feel bad for them? So instead of being impartial, you hide them here?

Gen: It’s complicated.

Eleanor: What about our experiment? This puts it in jeopardy. Somehow—I don’t know how but it does.

Gen: It doesn’t because this is case is different from yours.

Joel: Can someone explain what’s happening?

Eleanor: How is it different? They’re bad people and you’re trying to hide them in a controlled Good Place that’s supposed to help us show that your point system is flawed. That’s unethical. You’re being unethical.

Gen: If Chidi were here--

Eleanor: Don’t bring him up.

Sheila: Who’s Chidi?

Joel: That moral philosophy professor. We met at that welcome party. He couldn’t stop talking about almond milk.

Sheila: Oh. The guy with the stomachaches.

Gen: As I was saying—If Chidi were here—he would understand.

Eleanor: Well he’s not. And I am. So explain your oh so complicated reasoning.

Gen: Joel and Sheila Hammond are good people.

Joel and Sheila: Thank you.

Gen: But they’re also bad people.

Joel and Sheila: Fork.

Eleanor: You’re murderers?!

Eleanor: Oh wait. I already knew that. Why am I surprised? Oh wait. It’s because you ate your victims. Mr. and Mrs. Hannibal Lecter everybody.

Shelia: I’m sensing judgement.

Joel: We only killed bad people.

Shelia: You’re taking this way worse than Abby ever did and she was only 16 when she saw us bury Gary in the desert.

Eleanor: What the fork? Ugh. I hate the swear wards. It’s a bunch of bullshirt.

Joel: How do you think we forkin’ feel? Abby would hate it here.

Shelia: I know. I miss her.

Joel: Me too.

Eleanor: Who the fork is Abby?

Sheila: Our daughter.

Shelia: Unless…those weren’t real.

Gen: Yeah, they’re not. Take a look.

Eleanor: Oh. I wish Chidi were here.

Gen: Told ya.

Shelia: Well then. The Solution is simple Gen. Can I call you ‘Gen’. I feel like we’re very familiar now that I see that you hold our afterlives in the palm of your hand.

Gen: You may. ‘Judge Gen’ was only fun for the first millennia.

Eleanor: This isn’t simple at all.

Joel: Yeah it is. Sheila goes to The Good Place—

Sheila: Joel no---

Joel: And I go to The Bad Place. It’s logical. The points are pretty self-explanatory. Which is something I never thought I’d say because I am very bad at math. Remember when I calculated our first commission and I was off by a 1000 dollars?

Sheila: There has to be something---

Eleanor: It’s ONE POINT! Can you just--

Gen: Why do you think I hid them away with you? I was buying time. As a Judge, I have to be impartial but when I saw their case—

Eleanor: You thought that if we could properly prove that bad people could change in the afterlife, it would show that the point system was flawed. But then they died, again, and they were already good people but the point system would separate them. And you were hoping that if our case succeeded it would support their case---

Gen: Yes.

Eleanor: So this whole time you were just hiding them from The Bad Place because if they knew about them they would go to some afterlife trial—like Mindy St. Claire’s case. And they would end up in some Middle Place but still not together.

Gen: Separate Middle Places. Yes.

Sheila: We’re not separating!

Joel: Shelia look at the points! They don’t lie!

Shelia: The points don’t matter! Haven’t you been listening! It’s flawed! Look, I don’t care about The Good Place. Let them take me instead. It’s my fault anyway. I’m the reason you died the first time.

Joel: And I’m the reason you died the first time.

Shelia: I’m the reason you died the second time! If I had been—

Joel: It wasn’t your fault.

Sheila: It was supposed to be date night---

Joel: Sheila, it’s okay. I made a vow that night. Do you remember? I swore to be loyal to you and only you. I promised to protect you, to protect our family—no matter what. No matter the sacrifice. This is me—honoring that.

Sheila: That’s not fair.

Joel: Maybe not, but it’s the right thing to do. I go to The Bad Place. How bad can it be? I used to eat people. And bleed black ooze. Which was gross to me every time. I never got used to that.

Sheila: There is no Good Place for me without you. As corny as this may sound…You are my Good Place.

Joel: And as corny as this may sound, you’re mine.

Eleanor: Fork. Does anybody have a tissue?

Gen: Here’s my sleeve.

Sheila: Thank you for letting Joel have ice cream one more time.

Gen: It’s the very least I can do. I recommended a burrito but he said no.

Shelia: He loves them, but they make him gassy. I tried to explain that that won’t happen here—

Gen: Oh it will. Trust me.

Sheila: Oh. Hmm. Well, look I’m not gonna pussy foot around it—I can say ‘pussy’? Huh. A loophole. Anyway, no time. I’m not gonna pussy foot around it. Let me take Joel’s place instead.

Gen: I can’t do that. The points—

Shelia: Fork the points. It’s one point. You managed to hide us here with fake points. So just—give him one of mine.

Rossi looks between Reid and his old friend, then back. “I was gone for five minutes.”

“Quite an interesting five minutes, I’m afraid,” Hannibal’s smile is faint as he glances to the youthful, now terribly unsure, doctor. “Please, Dr Reid, continue.”

“I, uh...” Reid pulls a face between the two. Should he? Or is Dr Lecter merely being polite? Had he only listened to start out of politeness? Rossi isn’t giving him any clue as to the next step and the longer the silence goes on the more nervous he gets until he’s tugging, twirling, his hair.

Hannibal adjusts his seating slightly, then prompts. “I read once the practice survived until the early 20th century in the Balkan Peninsula, where the taking of the head implied the transfer of the soul matter of the decapitated to the decapitator.”

“It’s that sort of basis of belief, of the soul matter‘s transfer from decapitated to decapitator, that also led to headhunters and others to engage in cannibalism,” Spencer picked up immediately.

“So we’re really going to keep discussing cannibalism while we eat then?” Rossi’s question is more tease than concern; he knows he’s in the minority on whether this is appropriate dinner conversation or not.

“Come now, David, it’s not as if we’re eating anything but veal.” Hannibal winks to Dr Reid, who gives a startled look in response...much to the cannibal’s delight.

I know this is crazy short and random, but it’s all that was in my head that didn’t involve me starting yet another epic, multi-piece, story that (I’m sure) will take me years to finish, lol!! Either way, I had fun with it and, if any short/one-shots come to mind again I’ll write them out. Information about headhunting and cannibalism pulled from my general knowledge and here. I’m very curious what ya’ll think though given I haven’t written Criminal Minds in some time and Hannibal, like, ever.

Long text post, so I’m sticking it behind a “read more”

Fandoms behind the tags: Hannibal, Doctor Who, Gotham, SVU, BBC Sherlock, a couple of Walking Dead, a couple of Xenaverse, a couple of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon (Live action), Star Trek (TOS), Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland, The Following, and some original stories (Not included, because I probably won’t ever go back to them: Supernatural, Stargate, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Deadwood, and Harry Potter.)

Not tagging anyone BECAUSE I WOULD NOT SUBJECT MY LOVED ONES TO THIS. No, seriously. I’ve been working on this goddamn thing for two and a half hours.

Hannibal WIPs:

Ripper!Hannibal: Hannibal picked up the scalpel, hid it in his coat pocket, and followed him in the shadows.

Temple Body (Hannibal Lecter/Will Graham): His presence warded off nightmares and ushered in a calm and dreamless sleep. "Sure, a shower."

There Were Three (Hannibal Lecter/Will Graham): "Excellent. I shall expect you Thursday night, promptly at 8." Hannibal rose when Will did, and followed him out of the office. "Are you returning to the crime scene tomorrow?"

Sanity and Empathy (Hannibal/Will): Knew it as well as he'd known the feel of Hannibal's broken heart, left in the chapel written on a broken man.

No Place Like Home (Hannibal/Will): When Hannibal got back to Will's room, Will was sitting up on the side of the bed. "You just missed the cardiologist; my heart's fine. They're gonna stitch me up and as far as she's concerned, I can go home right now."

Murder Husbands In Denmark (Hannibal/Will): "I can do that, soon as I'm out of the shower." He leaned across the bloody butcher's block and nipped at Hannibal's ear. "Hurry up."

Leather Hannibal (Hannibal/Will): "So I think you like my new motorbike." Will squirmed as Hannibal's leather-gloved hands pressed down against the erection straining his zipper. "But perhaps that is not all you like."

Keeping It In The Family AU (Mischa Lecter/Hannibal Lecter/Will Graham): Hannibal reached out and raised her up, and offered her his elbow. "You're not going to bow to me, Mischa."

I, Profiler (Crossover SVU/Hannibal, Hannibal/Will, Barba/Benson): "I will sign your form," Hannibal agreed. After Barba hung up, Hannibal sighed, and turned his attention back to the sausage browning in the frying pan. "Mr. Barba seems to be at loose ends," he commented.

Hannibal’s Nightmare (AUish, Hannibal/Will): He knows who he is--My name is Hannibal Lecter, and I am a psychiatrist. I am a serial killer, and I am a cannibal.--but that doesn't seem to matter. He is trapped in a place that does not seem to exist, and yet, it does.

Great Escapes (Hannibal/Will): Hannibal placed her plate in front of her, then dropped the fork carefully on the napkin. Once he was out of range, Will let her go and returned to his seat. "Do enjoy your dinner."

Firsts (Hannibal/Will):When the dance--and the music--ends, they're both breathless and ready for more. Hannibal empties his pockets over the balcony rail for the violinist below, then follows Will to bed.

drunken kisses sequel (Hannibal/Will): "I know." And he had. It was almost as if this entire conversation was useless; Will and Hannibal were so much in each other's heads, the answers were known before the questions were even formulated.

Building A New Life (Hannibal/Will): In the back cargo hatch was their luggage, their bloody clothes which really needed to be burned, and a large igloo cooler that carried all their provisions plus a few… special treats for later.

Biokinetics (Hannigram AU, Hannibal/Will): "No, not at all." Will put his glasses back on as Hannibal led the way out of Will's living quarters and into the Institute's foyer.

Original WIPs:

Roxy The Pink Police Poodle: Oh, boy. I recognize Shit Detail. That means we’re going to do something Not Fun. For either one of us.

Paralegal: No amount of whipping furniture at my head can shake the solidity of the facts of the law.

Ghosts of deBerk: (scriptfrenzy screenplay): You want to ask me if I can talk to them for you, but you realize I am not Whoopi Goldberg and this is not Ghost. You know things do not work like that.

Baywood: All the things that you could need, but wouldn't ever think of buying for yourself when the time comes.

The Nature Of Time: The Eternal was confused. And so to experience time, He became a part of it.

Small Things: And if any found it, they did not live to tell the tale because many went out, and few returned, and the ones who did died quickly, without relating what they knew.

Sleep Deprivation: The clock on the microwave read 2:03 AM as Mara heated her second milk of the night.

Sangria Falls: "Put on the shackles, now," Nick repeated, loosening the snap on his gun.

Misty Valley: Rain splashed on the windows, matching the rolling drops of blood that pooled red on the inside of the glass.

Midnight Scratching: . If she was losing her mind, then Poe was trying to console her.

Mars Rover: The air was circulating slowly inside the helmet to stretch out the final oxygen supply, but as soon as they were out of the atmosphere, they wouldn't really need it anymore.

Fall of the House of God: . As it dug itself in, Lamiel planted the seeds for further discontent before going to sleep to gather its strength.

Dymond Family Murders: Fiona's estate contested the agreement when first announced, but has since withdrawn the challenge and given the arrangement its full support.

SVU (Special Victims Unit) WIPs

Cedro Barba (Rafael Barba/Olivia Benson): Turning the box back over to Cold Case, Olivia headed for SVU.

Checking In (Barba/Benson): "I'm no role model, Olivia." He jostled Noah into sobs as he handed the child back to Liv. "Almost twenty years later and I still dream of punching my old man in the face every morning."

Post-”October Surprise” fic (Barba/Benson): "Come on, let it out." She cradled him close, resting her chin on his temple. "It's going to be all right, Rafael."

Dinner With Mami: Rafael just smiled at that, and a little kernel of heat blossomed in the pit of his stomach when she smiled back.

Starbucks: "Three cups, Liv," he reminded. "Three cups of Starbucks all over Armani."

Barba and Benson Dinner Untitled: "I think I like you better all put together. A present just waiting to be unwrapped. Although…" She made an appreciative noise at his bare chest. "I can see the benefit of keeping you naked."

Barba/Benson Vampire AU: “Come on. The blood bank is open by now, and you’ll think a lot more clearly when you’ve fed.” Olivia held her hand out.

Doctor Who WIPs:

Running Up That Hill (9/Rose): Disappointed in Rose,which was even worse for both of them.

1920′s Gangster AU (10/Rose): But there was no harm in looking, the Doctor kept telling himself, and so he continued to pay regular visits to the club.

A Crack In Time (12/Rose): "Rose, is it really you?" he asked, and even his voice was changed, Scottish and hard.

Come Back To Me (10/Rose): The Doctor's words were rushed as he hastened to reassure Rose. "There's only a really tiny little bit left, not even enough to hurt you, or even know it's there. I took all of it out of your head, scrubbed it clean, remember? That's how we met. This is just one tiny little glitch that saved your life."

Doctor John Smith (Tentoo/Rose): John looked steadily at Jackie. "It's a lot to take in. Rose has been through a lot. I just want to make it easy for her, that's all."

Drips (A Coffee Shop AU) (Ten/Rose): It had started, for Rose Tyler at least, with the gas leak that had blown up the Henrik's shop she'd worked at--thank God she'd been off shift that night.

Sunshine and Roses (9/Rose/Jack): The crinkles at the corner of his eyes made his mouth turn up in a perpetual smile, which was accompanied by laughter at Rose's antics.

Light and Dark (Ten/Rose): "We like children, we like them young, they are still light and generous and they want to play!" A few free light specks floated around Rose again, and lit on her hair, on her shoulders. "Oh, we see! You keep him light, he glows when you're with him!"

Part Of Your World (Ten/Rose Little Mermaid AU): He sort of waved through the front glass, and several of the whales flicked their rear fins as a sort of answer before the TARDIS bobbed around and headed back for the Trench and the Challenger descent point.

Untitled Post Impossible Planet/Satan Pit (Ten/Rose): She knew the why well enough, and went in for a second kiss.

Pregnant Rose Tyler (Ten/Rose): "All right. Anything for you, Rose Tyler." And this time, he meant it with all his hearts.

Two Hearts, Two Hearts (Jack/Ten/Rose): "Back in the TARDIS, or else she's wandered off again," was the Doctor's reply. "Didn't know what I'd find in here, so I asked her to wait. But you know how rubbish she is at waiting about, so we'd better go."

Gotham WIPs:

Father Nygma’s Bird Problems (AU, Edward Nygma/Oswald Cobblepot): This time, Carmine’s smile was far more rueful than he’d like. “There’s no way you could let me down,” he answered. Especially not given his own personal history. “Good evening, Edward. Remember, you can call me or see me at any time you like; I am always available to my priests.”

Hello, Old Friend (Edward Nygma/Oswald Cobblepot): Ed gave a negative shake of his head. “That's far too generous, I couldn't accept.” Especially when he had no real way of paying back the kindness.

Mine (Edward Nygma/Oswald Cobblepot): Getting up from the chair, he rapped the table with gloved knuckles. “I’ll swing back by later to see what you decided.”

Cuts Like A Knife (Edward Nygma/Oswald Cobblepot): He was relatively certain that a google search of How to fix the ice-muddled memory of your best friend turned worst enemy would return exactly zero helpful results, so he was going to go with the closest approximation he could think of and adapt what he found to help Ed.

Walking the Tightrope (Jim Gordon/Oswald Cobblepot): Oswald simply nodded. That was fair enough; the agreement was to take each other as they came, profession included. It kept things interesting, to say the least.

What He Needs (Jim Gordon/Oswald Cobblepot): The black eye mask was folded on top, and while he withdrew it with his fingers, he carried it back in his mouth and offered it up to Oswald.

BBC Sherlock WIPs:

Untitled Johnlock #1 (John/Sherlock): "Not important at all. It's common. Any two individuals regardless of gender can have sex, and a portion of those can make love with sentiment behind it. Boring. What is important, what is unique, is the closeness two people share. Especially when one is less than personable, as it were. But you, John, you are what is important. Not how you choose to use an appendage."

Life Form (John/Sherlock): Sherlock did allow himself to blink, and when no catastrophe happened, he relaxed microscopically.

Past Life (John/Sherlock): "Sandals and swords, how exciting. I can certainly see how it would pull one from the realm of sleep."

The Following WIPs:

Sacrifice (Joe Carroll/Ryan Hardy): The ghostly shapes moved like quicksilver behind the mist.

That Night (Joe/Carroll/Ryan Hardy): The heat from their touches made the room-temperature glass seem almost icy.

The Ending (Joe Carroll/Ryan Hardy): The answer that Ryan couldn't give, and that's why this moment, here in this nowhere place, was most important. In this place, the answer didn't matter.

Unexpected Savior (Joe Carroll/Ryan Hardy): Joe disconnected the call while studying his reflection in the mirror. “Dear Ryan, whatever shall I do with you?”

Everything Else:

Untitled Rickyl AU (Walking Dead, Rick/Daryl): So it was as a civilian that Rick rolled up at Carl's school that afternoon.

Wintering (Walking Dead, Rick/Daryl): "Don't worry, Papa Bear. Little Ass-Kicker's in good hands."

Destrus (Xenaverse, Ares/Xena): Well, his great sword through a few puny mortal chests had put an end to that idea

A Friend’s Faith (Xenaverse, Autolycus/Xena): "It's hard to have faith in yourself when you think nobody else does, but it's even worse when you think you've let down the ones who do."

Kunzite and Darkury (Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon/PGSM/BSSM/Bishojou Senshi Sera Moon, Kunzite/Dark Mercury): Both are trapped in the whirlpool at the base of the waterfall, a deepening vortex that sucks them deeper and closer together.

Untitled PGSM (Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon/Bishoujo Senshi Sera Moon, Human!Nephrite/Ami): He was only Nephrite, outcast and human, and he was shamed for feeling gratitude to Sailor Mercury.

Responsibility (Star Trek TOS, Kirk/Spock): No--that was unfair. Jim was not fire, and it was only Spock who burned.

Return To Underland (Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland, Alice/Hatter): The Unicorn chuffed nervously, pawing the marble floor while the Lion paced and growled, tail flicking madly.

The Girl With the Tuxedo Kitten (Millennium/Dragon Tattoo series, Lisbeth Salander/Mikael Blomkvist): Blomkvist laughed. "Why don't you take Sally and let her sleep? I'll set up the litter in the bathroom and put out some more dry food."
