As someone who only just escaped retail, I know how SUCKY and HORRIBLE it is to get locked into working the entire holiday all the way up until Christmas (sometimes even on Christmas). No one REALLY WANTS to help entitled assholes, but they have to or lose their job. Especially now days when entitlement and assholery is the norm. So DONT be an entitled asshole, and be nice and thankful and patient, and that good karma will come trickling back to you.

To all my retail peeps stuck in the loop: I pray for your souls and sanity. I love you. I appreciate you. And I hope your establishment burns to the ground so you get a day off this holiday.

i really want to dissect season 2 episode 6 of the bear. like. the convo about claire. the mom stuff obv. carmy's gift for michael. the fact that sugar is literally about to become a mom herself which must be extra fucking terrifying, the tragedy of relatives being like 'haha i wonder if donna's gonna do something crazy' vs the berzatto kids' stress and anxiety levels, michael's behaviour at the table combined with carmy being like 'oh i didn't even know he was using' - which. ?!
