Giving Pokemon to the nerds

Earnest had a Scorbunny as a starter which is now a Raboot. He has a Lopunny, a Kirlia, a Gothorita, a Hattrem, Sneasler, a Voltorb, and a Pidgeot.

Melvin has a Mudkip as his starter. He has a Lairon, a Psyduck, an Espeon, a Mime Jr, a Sprigatito, a Venomoth, a Magby, and a Magnemite.

Cornelius had a Chikorita for a starter that's now a Meganium. He has a Roselia, a Leafeon, a Leavanny, a Petilil, a Pansage, an Espurr, a Togepi, a Ribombee, and a Ditto. He mainly just studies pokemon, rather than fight.

Bucky's first pokemon was a Rattata (a pokemon version of his pet rat, George). He has a Doduo, a Chansey, an Eevee, a Togetic, a Zigzagoon, a Plusle, and a Pawmo.

Algie's starter is a Piplup. He has a Goomy, a Yanma, a Shedinjia, an Omanyte, a Sandshrew, a Wooper, a Magcargo, and a Sentret.

Donald's starter was a Snivey that's now a Servine. He has a Fennekin, a Theivul, a Meowscarada, a Hoppip, and a Taillow.

Fatty's starter was a Cyndaquill that's now a Quilava. He has a Ponyta (iykyk), Deino, a Swirlix, a Fidough, a Miltank, a Cubone, and a Mudbray (again, iykyk).

Thad's starter is a Totodile. He has a Mankey, a Weedle, a Ledyba, a Squirtle, a Poliwag, and a Flareon.

Beatrice's first pokemon was a Litwick she found. She has a Lucario, a Mimikyu, a Minun, an Umbreon, a Gengar, a Murkrow, a Zorua, and an Espeon.

I know i usually reboot but my brother made a joke today and my dumbass brain went "but what if-" so here we go, might as well expelled the thoughts into the void

DreamSMP Pokemon AU

(yes, I'm serious. sort of. I'm never gonna use this, so do whatever you want with it)

Ok so, first this isn't everyone being Trainers. They are the actually Pokemon. First we have the obvious:

Wilbur is either a Drilburr or a Timburr. It's too on the nose name wise, but I'm not sure which one. Another one I chose for puns was Niki being a Pikachu...Niki Nihachu..... Niki Pikachu.........

Tommy is a Zigzagoon, Galarian flavour for the typing but also him being from Galar just feels on brand. Tubbo is either a Combee (obviously, but sadly he'll never get to evolve) or a Skiddo/Gogoat, again, not quite sure. I was gonna make Ranboo a Meowstic, but then my brother mentioned Endermen having Dark Type vibes, so fuck it he's both Psychic and Dark - he's a Malamar: tall, both the types that I think fit, and Origins Ranboo is supposed to be not as nice as SMP iirc (I actually haven't watched a lot of it ( ´▽` ")).

George is either Snorlax or Komala. I think you could guess why.

Skeppy is 100% a Carbink, and BBH I think would be a Granbull. Sounds like an insult, I know, but Granbull look mean but all their Dex entries mention how they're all quite sweet and have hearts of gold. Considering he's supposed to be a demon iirc, I feel like this fits ok. I couldn't really think of much else. I also can't think of what Puffy would be though, maybe another Gogoat??

Technoblade is definitely Lechonk. I know we don't know much about it yet, but it's either that or Emboar (sorry to this man-). The name also feels on brand.

Charlie is an Alolan Grimer. I don't think I need to explain this one.

Dream was hard to figure out, but when my brother and I were talking about it we both seemed to agree he was Ghost Type. He kept saying Gengar and, while that sounds good Type wise I don't think it fits otherwise. People would probably not trust the Gengar, and to my knowledge there are still characters that do. We also figured that Mimkyu could also work, but that would imply he envies Niki, and I don't think he does. Idk, I'm not sure of what Pokemon would fit him. Maybe he'd be a Trainer instead?

I can't really think of anyone else, so this is all I've got right now. Like I said, feel free to use these, I'm not gonna elaborate or build on this further lmao, this was just a crossover of shared special interests that happened between my brother and I
